Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

Nazar Voloshyn, Spokesman of the Khortytsia operational and strategic group, said that towards Pokrovsk, fighting continues near Novotroitske, Vidrodzhennia and Shevchenkove. The Defence Forces lost three positions.

Oleksandr Danylenko, Head of the Media Relations Group of the Hart Border Guard Brigade, said that the russians have accumulated enough manpower and equipment to launch a second offensive in the north of Kharkiv oblast.

At 2:40pm, russia-backed militants attacked  Ivashky village of Bohodukhiv region, using FPV drones. One private house was destroyed, two private houses and outbuildings were damaged. A 59-year-old woman was injured.

At 10am, Zakhidne village of Kupiansk region was under attack. A 63-year-old man was injured as a result of the shelling.

From 9:43 to 10:13am, Zlatopil of Lozova region was attacked. The shelling damaged 16 residential buildings, an administrative building, 4 outbuildings and 2 cars. 17 people were injured.

As a result of intensified evacuation measures, 42 people were evacuated from Kupiansk and Borova directions.

Donetsk oblast

Donetsk police reported that yesterday the enemy made 2,328 attacks on the frontline and the residential sector.

5 settlements were affected: Druzhkivka, Kostiantynivka, Pokrovsk, Toretsk and Oleksiivka village.

11 civilian objects were damaged, including 9 residential buildings.

The occupiers attacked Kostiantynivka with cannon artillery, injuring a civilian and damaging three private houses and the power grid.

In Pokrovsk, russian shelling damaged a private house and a gas pipeline.

In Oleksiivka, four private houses were damaged.

Luhansk oblast

The RMA reported that Nadiia, Hrekivka and Makiivka were at the epicentre of the enemy’s assault over the past day. In addition, the russians fired eight times from artillery in this area of the frontline.

They sent 77 unmanned aerial vehicles towards the fortifications of Ukrainian defenders. They also launched an airstrike.

The so-called ‘luhansk people’s republic’ is drafting a bill that would allow the allocation of land in the occupied Luhansk oblast to russian military personnel from remote locations. The invaders are confident that such a decision will increase the migration of families of russian soldiers. This will help them solve the problem of shortage of personnel in the “luhansk people’s republic”, in particular, among doctors, teachers and accountants.

For about two and a half years, Novodruzhesk, which is located next to Lysychansk, has been without electricity. The local residents who remained hoped that the problem would be resolved during the pseudo-referendum, and then after the so-called first elections and also – with the change of the curator from the russian Federation and the Lysychansk mayor.

However, there are still no signs of restoration of critical infrastructure in the settlement. Dismantling of equipment at transformer substations has recently begun. Representatives of the russian army were involved in the work.

The occupiers in the so-called “lpr” are confiscating unregistered land plots and forcing agricultural machinery to be re-registered. To do this, you need to have a russian passport only.

In Aidar (formerly Novopskov), russians are looking for relatives of ATO/JFO participants. A similar situation is observed throughout the occupied Luhansk oblast. Relatives of those who have a pro-Ukrainian position are subject to checks.

This is at least the second time that russian funds, which were promised to be used to pay salaries to local teachers in 2014-2015, have disappeared in  “lpr”.
