On 7 May, the aggressor attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 52 times.
Artillery shelling of border areas continues. In Sumy oblast, the settlements of Korenok, Chernatske, Ryzhivka, Sopych, Hirky, and Prohres were affected, while in Chernihiv oblast, Khrinivka was targeted. Velyka Pysarivka in Sumy oblast was subjected to airstrikes.
In Northern Sloboda and Kursk, eight combat engagements took place. The enemy carried out 67 strikes on settlements and the positions of our troops, two of which involved multiple launch rocket systems, and launched one airstrike using two guided bombs.
Towards Southern Sloboda, the enemy stormed the positions of our units three times in the vicinity of Prylipka and towards the settlement of Izbytske.
Towards Kupiansk, the enemy attacked twice today in the vicinity of Radkivka; one combat engagement is still ongoing.
Towards Lyman, the enemy launched eight assaults today in the vicinity of Kovalivka, Drobysheve, and Lyman; one combat engagement is still ongoing.
Towards Sloviansk, the Defense Forces successfully repelled one attempt by the invaders to advance in the vicinity of Rai-Oleksandrivka.
Towards Kramatorsk, the enemy conducted no offensive actions today.
Towards Kostiantynivka, the invaders carried out four attacks in the vicinity of Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, and Ivanopillia.
Towards Pokrovsk, the occupiers have tried 14 times to dislodge our soldiers from their positions in the vicinity of Bilytske, Nykyforivka, Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Pokrovsk, Udachne, and Molodetske, and towards Hannivka, Novopavlivka, and Shevchenko. Four combat engagements are still ongoing.
Towards Oleksandrivka, an enemy attack is ongoing in the vicinity of Oleksandrohrad.
Towards Huliaipole, the Defense Forces successfully repelled nine enemy attacks in the vicinity of Rybne, Dobropillia, Sviatopetrivka, Verkhnia Tersa, and Charivne. One combat engagement is ongoing. The settlements of Liubytske, Vozdvyzhivska, and Dolynka were subjected to airstrikes.
Towards Orikhiv, the enemy was repulsed twice by the Defense Forces in the vicinity of Shcherbaky.
Towards Kherson, our defenders successfully stopped three enemy attempts to advance towards the Antonivka Bridge and Bilohrudyi Island.

Kharkiv oblast
Front line
According to the General Staff, there were 157 combat engagements in the oblast.
Towards Southern Sloboda, russian troops attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 17 times in the vicinity of Vovchansk, Starytsia, Lyptsi, Lyman, Izbytske, Mala Vovcha, Symynivka, Zelene, and Vilcha. Towards Kupiansk, the russian army attacked ten times in the vicinity of Kurylivka, Pishchane, and Novoplatonivka, Borivska Andriivka, Radkivka, and Petropavlivka.
Shelling
On the morning of May 7, russian troops attacked Novobavarskyi district of Kharkiv with Geran-2 type UAVs. As a result of the strike, three children and six adults sought medical assistance. Some of the victims were diagnosed with an acute stress reaction, while two other people sustained bruises and injuries from glass.
According to the Kharkiv RMA and the city council, 38 private houses, a civilian car, and a kiosk, which caught fire after the hit, were damaged.
Viktor Kovalenko, Head of Zolochiv CMA, says that during the night of May 7, russian troops attacked Liutivka and Klynova-Novoselivka of Zolochiv community with drones. As a result of the strikes, a private house and a one-story five-apartment building were destroyed, while four more houses and outbuildings were damaged. There were no casualties.
Kherkiv RMA reports that Kharkiv and 15 settlements in the oblast were subjected to enemy strikes. Eight people were injured: in Kharkiv — two women aged 48 and 52 and two men aged 49 and 56; in Pysarivka of Zolochiv community — two men aged 49 and 25 and a 48-year-old woman; in Slatyne of Derhachi community — a 53-year-old woman.

Kharkiv RMA reports that russian troops attacked Novobavarskyi, Saltivskyi, and Osnovianskyi districts of Kharkiv.
According to Kharkiv RMA, the russian army deployed six guided aerial bombs (KABs), five Geran-2 type UAVs, one Lancet type UAV, seven Molniia type UAVs, five FPV drones, and 18 drones of an unidentified type across Kharkiv oblast.
In Kharkiv, eight private houses, three garages, and two cars were damaged. In Bohodukhiv region, private houses, outbuildings, power grids, a shop, and cars were damaged. In Kupiansk region, a private house and an outbuilding were damaged. In Izium region, private and apartment buildings, an educational institution, minibuses, and a car were damaged. In Kharkiv region, a private house, a garage, and a car were damaged.
Kharkiv RMA reports that in Izium, a KAB strike damaged a lyceum building, a kindergarten, and apartment buildings, causing a fire. In Ruska Lozova, a UAV strike damaged houses and a car. In Slatyne, an FPV drone hit a car; a wounded woman was taken to the hospital.
In the villages of Borova and Voloska Balakliia of Kupiansk region, houses were damaged. In Malynivka of Chuhuiv region, a UAV strike damaged houses and vehicles.
Oleh Syniehubov, Head of Kharkiv RMA, says that despite russian strikes on gas stations in Kharkiv oblast, there is currently no fuel shortage for the residents of the oblast. According to him, the strikes on gas stations remain a part of the russian tactics recorded since 2022.

Other
Kharkiv RMA reports that the transit evacuation point in Lozova received 171 people over the day. Since the point began operating, 32,562 people have been registered there.
According to Kharkiv RMA, more than 500,000 IDPs are registered in Kharkiv oblast. There are 84 temporary residence sites operating for their accommodation, housing more than 8,000 people, with another 16,000 places reserved in case of a new wave of evacuation. Kharkiv oblast also plans to expand the housing fund for displaced persons: specifically, in Zmiivka region, there are plans to restore a building with 80 apartments for social housing.
Kharkiv RMA reports that transit centers in Kharkiv and Lozova are operating to help those evacuated from frontline settlements of Kharkiv and Donetsk regions. Currently, active evacuation of residents from Kupiansk, Shevchenkove, Velykyi Burluk, and Zolochiv communities is underway. The situation remains most difficult in Zaoskillya, where special operations involving police and military must be conducted to evacuate people.
In Biliaivka community of Lozova region, social hairdresser Snizhana Nazarenko has been working for two years, providing free haircuts to about 150 people from vulnerable categories—pensioners, people with disabilities, large families, and military personnel—every month. Due to war and difficult accessibility of services in villages, such assistance has become an important part of support: Snizhana travels to seven or eight settlements of the community, and for residents, this is not only a haircut, but also an opportunity for communication and human attention.
Donetsk oblast
Front line
According to the General Staff, over the past day, russian troops attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 17 times in the vicinity of Nadiia, Stavky, Yampil, and in the vicinity of Lyman, Novosherhiivka, Ozerne, and Tverdokhlibove towards Lyman.
According to the General Staff, Ukrainian military repelled 29 attacks of the russian army towards Pokrovsk. Towards Kostiantynivka, the occupiers carried out another 17 assaults.
Viktor Trehubov, Spokesperson for the United Forces Group, reports that during the silence regime announced by Ukraine on May 6, russian troops continued intensive infantry assaults towards Lyman. The occupiers tried to enter settlements across the entire section of the front in small groups.
Lut Brigade reports that in Kostiantynivka, russian occupiers dropped a russian flag from a drone onto one of the buildings. Pilots of Luhansk Regiment destroyed the russian tricolor in less than a minute.
Shelling
Vadym Liakh, Head of Sloviansk CMA, says that at night and in the morning, russian troops attacked Sloviansk. The occupiers dropped a FAB-500 on the industrial zone of the city.
According to Donetsk oblast police, for May 6, there were 984 strikes of the russian army on the front line and the residential sector of Donetsk oblast. 16 settlements were under fire, and 28 civilian objects were damaged, including 12 residential buildings.

In Druzhkivka, russian troops struck with FPV drones. Two people were killed; a private house, two apartment buildings, and a car were damaged.
In Shabelkivka, a russian drone killed a civilian.
The russian army launched eight strikes on Kramatorsk, including two KAB-250 bombs and FPV drones. Three civilians were wounded; two homes, an administrative building, a car wash, a non-residential building, and three cars were damaged.
In Dobropillia, russian troops struck with FPV drones and an aerial bomb. A civilian was injured, and an infrastructure facility was damaged.
In Sloviansk, a person was wounded as a result of an FPV drone strike. Another civilian was injured in Lyman.

Other
White Angels evacuated eight people from Kramatorsk region: five residents were taken out of Mykolaivka, and another three from Semenivka. Among the evacuees is a 66-year-old woman with an oncological disease who requires treatment in Kyiv. The police note that the situation in Mykolaivka remains critical due to constant aviation and artillery strikes, and a portion of the streets is under the control of russian drones.
Mariupol City Council reports that in temporarily occupied Donetsk oblast, the russians plan to open “Cossack” classes in four cities. The education of children in such classes will be aimed at studying the russian version of Cossack history, military training, and so-called “patriotic and spiritual” upbringing.
Luhansk oblast
Oleksii Kharchenko, Head of Luhansk RMA, reports that towards Lyman, russian troops tried to break through the Ukrainian defense 17 times in the vicinity of seven settlements, specifically near Nadiia and from the direction of Tverdokhlibove in Luhansk oblast. The occupiers used tube artillery, mortars, grenade launchers, and 12 drones.
Luhansk State Medical University, which relocated to Rivne oblast in 2022 due to the hostilities, marks its 70th anniversary. After two evacuations and the loss of its library and equipment, the university continues to train medics: currently, about 1,500 students study there, 300 staff members work there, and future doctors undergo practical training in Rivne medical facilities and work in their own laboratories.
Oleksii Kharchenko, Head of Luhansk RMA, says that in occupied Luhansk oblast, a number of settlements near Holubivka, seized since 2014, have had no centralized water supply for a long time. Drinking water was delivered there, but since April 27, local residents have been left without even this due to a lack of drivers. Currently, the occupation administration is looking for a driver to deliver water to the villages.
According to Oleksii Kharchenko, Head of Luhansk RMA, 2,500 propaganda events involving the russian military have been held in the schools of the so-called “lpr” since September. They are organized by the pro-kremlin “Movement of the First”: at such meetings, the russian military agitate children to join the war against Ukraine.
Luhansk RMA reports that in temporarily occupied Luhansk oblast, there are plans to introduce a new mandatory subject, “Spiritual and Moral Culture of the russian federation,” starting next academic year. This is another element of ideological influence on children in the schools of the occupied oblast.
What is happening now in the north of Ukraine
Kyiv oblast
Mykola Kalashnyk, head of the Regional Military Administration, reported that on the morning of 7 May, the enemy carried out a drone attack on Kyiv oblast. No critical infrastructure facilities were hit. Three private homes were damaged in the Vyshhorod district.
100 participants joined an open meeting as part of the ‘Dialogue between Government and Business’ platform, dedicated to issues of energy independence, energy resilience and practical mechanisms for supporting businesses and communities. Representatives from small, medium and large businesses, the banking sector, DTEK, the regional gas company and relevant agencies were present. During the meeting, particular attention was paid to business support and tools that allow companies to invest in their own energy resilience.
Several programmes are currently active in Kyiv oblast: support for business resilience hubs; compensation for the costs of assessing war-related damage; support for the development of industrial parks; and support for innovative activities. The oblast is continuing to implement the updated Regional Programme for the Development of Housing and Utilities, Energy Efficiency Transformation and Energy Security for 2023–2027. The programme provides specific support mechanisms for residents, housing associations and communities.
The Ukrainian Women’s Guard organised mine awareness training for secondary school children in Kyiv. Certified UWG trainers delivered a vital session on the risks associated with explosive objects for children.
Zhytomyr oblast
30 residents of Berdychiv have successfully completed a 48-hour training programme preparing citizens for national resistance. The course involves not only theoretical classroom sessions but also intensive practical training in field conditions. Cadets at the Zhytomyr Regional Centre for Training Citizens for National Resistance are learning tactics, tactical medicine, how to operate unmanned aerial vehicles, mine safety and engineering skills.
Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration reported that, on the eve of Mother’s Day in Zhytomyr, as part of the nationwide mental health programme ‘How Are You?’, a heart-warming and deeply emotional event was held in honour of the mothers of Ukrainian defenders.
This weekend, military units of the 3047th took an active part in the first city-wide dog festival, ‘DOG FEST’, in Zhytomyr. One of the highlights of the event included a demonstration by service dogs, in which the four-legged partners showcased the skills required for their duties.
Sumy oblast
In the area of responsibility of Kursk Group of Forces in Sumy oblast, russian forces attempted an assault towards Kucheriv — Myropillia on 6 May. According to Kursk Group of Forces, five air strikes, the use of 76 FPV drones and four munition drops from UAVs were recorded. The russian army also carried out 75 attacks, firing a total of 450 munitions at the positions of Ukrainian units. The fire attacks began almost immediately after midnight. The nature of the enemy’s actions indicates a deliberate and systematic violation of the de-escalation regime.
Starosta Mykola Sachenko said that on 7 May, russian forces struck Verkhnie Pishchane in Sumy community. A fire broke out at the scene, and several residential houses were damaged.
Serhii Kryvosheienko, Head of Sumy City Military Administration, reported that enemy drones attacked Sumy. One of the downed drones fell into a river in Zarichnyi district, while another hit a non-residential premises in Kovpakivskyi district. Air defence also shot down a drone that was dropping propaganda leaflets over the city.
Oleh Hryhorov, Head of Sumy Regional Military Administration, informed that on 7 May, a 56-year-old resident of Krasnopillia community was killed in a russian attack. The woman was herding cows when a shell exploded nearby. She sustained extremely serious injuries. Fellow villagers drove the wounded woman towards medics, but she died on the way. Livestock was also wounded.
On the morning of 7 May, an enemy drone hit a civilian car in Stepanivka community. The car caught fire. The driver was not inside, as he had gone to get coffee, which saved his life. However, the man was wounded and hospitalised.

On 6 May, the russian army launched a missile strike on one of the agricultural enterprises in Popivka rural community. An 88-year-old woman was injured and taken to hospital. Production buildings and agricultural machinery at the enterprise were damaged. Damage to residential houses of local residents was also recorded.
According to the Regional Military Administration, in Nova Slobidka community, a 53-year-old man was killed on 6 May after a russian drone struck a residential house.
On a road in Berezivka community, another russian drone hit a civilian car. A 76-year-old man was wounded.
In Khutir-Mykhailivskyi community, the enemy hit a private house on 6 May. The house caught fire as a result of the strike. No people were injured.

Sumy Regional Military Administration reported that as a result of enemy shelling of Sumy oblast over the past day, as of the morning of 7 May, five people were killed and 11 were wounded.
7 May has been declared a Day of Mourning in Sumy community for those killed in enemy attacks on 6 May.
During the day, from the morning of 6 May to the morning of 7 May, russian forces carried out more than 90 attacks on 44 settlements in 18 territorial communities of the oblast. The highest number of attacks was recorded in Sumy and Shostka regions. The enemy used mortars, artillery, MLRS, FPV drones, UAVs and guided aerial bombs, and carried out a missile strike. Over the past day, air raid alerts in the oblast lasted 20 hours and 30 minutes.
Civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged and destroyed:
- In Sumy community, a preschool education institution, a non-residential building, private residential houses and a private passenger car were damaged;
- In Bilopillia community, a civilian infrastructure facility, a tractor and a bus were damaged;
- In Berezivka community, a private car was damaged;
- In Hlukhiv community, private passenger cars were damaged;
- In Znob-Novhorodske community, a private residential house and a civilian infrastructure facility were damaged;
- In Popivka community, a non-residential premises was damaged;
- In Richky community, a bus was damaged;
- In Seredyna-Buda community, a private residential house was destroyed and another private residential house was damaged;
- In Esman community, private residential houses and outbuildings were destroyed;
- In Shalyhyne community, private residential houses were destroyed and a civilian infrastructure facility was damaged;
- In Khutir-Mykhailivskyi community, a private residential house was destroyed;
- In Shostka community, residential houses were damaged.
Over the past day, local authorities, together with units of the State Emergency Service, the National Police and non-governmental organisations, evacuated 50 people from border communities.
Sixteen-year-old Maksym Tenytskyi, who was wounded in the strike on the Territorial Recruitment Centre building in Sumy on 18 March, has been discharged home after treatment at Okhmatdyt. The boy was admitted to hospital with a severe traumatic brain injury, damage to the facial bones and was in a coma. Doctors restored the bone structures using titanium microplates and screws. Maksym underwent rehabilitation to restore facial expressions, speech, chewing and hearing, and also worked with psychologists. According to the medical facility, his condition has now improved, and he has been discharged home.
Chernihiv oblast
The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported that during the day on 6 May, border guards of the 105th Detachment named after Prince Volodymyr the Great shot down two russian drones in the skies over Chernihiv oblast. The border guards destroyed two Herbera-type UAVs.
The State Enterprise Forests of Ukraine informed that in Chernihiv oblast, 2,400 hectares of forest are burning in the border area, covering the territory of Yelyne and Tykhonovychi forestries. There is no access to this area due to enemy shelling. Forest protection units are taking measures to prevent the fire from spreading to accessible areas.
Viacheslav Chaus, Head of Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, said that over the past day, 6 May, a food shop was destroyed by fire following an explosion in a village of Semenivka community. In Koriukivka region, the enemy struck a communications facility. In a village of Koriukivka community, russian forces struck the territory of a forestry site. In another village, a house and a tractor were destroyed by shelling, and a home caught fire before being extinguished by local residents. In Kulykivka community, Chernihiv oblast, housing and a car were damaged in drone attacks.
According to Chernihiv Border Detachment, during the day on 6 May, russian forces attacked four border communities in Chernihiv oblast: Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka, Horodnia and Snovsk. The enemy carried out mortar attacks with 6 explosions and barrel artillery attacks with 1 explosion, launched FPV drone strikes with 15 explosions, and dropped explosive devices from UAVs with 5 explosions.
Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine
Dnipropetrovsk oblast
Mykola Lukashuk, Head of Dnipropetrovsk RMA, reported that a 60-year-old man was injured in Nikopol. The enemy attacked the regional centre, Pokrovske rural, Chervonohryhorivka and Marhanets communities by drones and artillery. A car caught fire. A shop, 4 apartment buildings, a religious institution, a gas station and vehicles were damaged. Due to yesterday’s attacks, a restaurant and private homes were damaged. As a result of a UAV attack in Dnipro, a 21-year-old pregnant woman and a 45-year-old man were injured. An apartment caught fire. 2 apartment buildings, 2 cars and 6 garages were damaged. The enemy attacked Krynychky community by UAVs. A 43-year-old man was injured. 2 cars and an outbuilding were damaged. Also, UAVs struck Petropavlivka and Mezhova communities. A vehicle caught fire. Pavlohrad and Bohdanivka community were under drone attack. Fires broke out, a truck, infrastructure and a power line were damaged.
5 people were injured in Marhanets and Nikopol. The enemy attacked the regional centre, Pokrovske rural, Chervonohryhorivka, Myrove and Marhanets communities by drones and artillery. Fires broke out. 5 apartment buildings and 9 private houses, a gymnasium, a shop, a garage, an outbuilding, vehicles, an enterprise, infrastructure and power lines were damaged. UAVs struck Apostolove and Zelenodolsk communities. Power lines were damaged. As a result of the attack in Dnipro, an enterprise, vehicles, the opera and ballet theater and the Palace of Children and Youth were damaged.
An agricultural enterprise was damaged in Solone community.
Vinnytsia oblast
Powerlifting and kettlebell sport competitions among veterans of the russian-Ukrainian war were held in Vinnytsia at the municipal children and youth sports school.
Participants with various injuries, including amputated limbs, competed in bench press, squats, kettlebell press and dumbbell press. 33 veterans took part in the tournament.
Kirovohrad oblast
In Zavallia community of Holovanivsk region, Kirovohrad oblast, 29-year-old Mykhailo Shvets, who had been released from russian captivity, was welcomed home. Mykhailo served in the 115th Brigade. He was captured on 15 May 2024, on Chasiv Yar region in Donetsk oblast. He spent 1 year and 9 months in captivity.
Poltava oblast
In Poltava, following the shelling on 5 May, 22 injured people remain in hospitals, 3 of them in serious condition.
Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine
Zaporizhzhia oblast
Ivan Fedorov, Head of Zaporizhzhia RMA, reported that men aged 44 and 38, a 40-year-old woman and a 15-year-old boy were injured as a result of a russian attack on Zaporizhzhia. A russian drone exploded in one of the city’s districts. Vehicles were damaged.
A 67-year-old man and women aged 72 and 73 were injured as a result of a guided aerial bomb attack on Zaporizhzhia oblast. The russian troops destroyed a private household in Shchaslyve village. A house and nearby buildings were damaged and a fire covering 150 sq.m broke out.
A woman sustained shrapnel injuries as a result of an FPV drone attack on a passenger minibus operating on the Zaporizhzhia – Novotroitske route.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on 6 May, Ukrainian Defence Forces repelled 25 russian attacks on Huliaipole, Orikhiv and Oleksandrivka regions. Combat clashes took place near Zlahoda, Dobropillia, Staroukrainka, Zelene, Rybne, Shcherbaky and towards Hirke, Huliaipilske, Pryluky and Novohryhorivka.
Ivan Fedorov, Head of the RMA, stated that on 6 May, russian troops carried out over 790 strikes on 50 settlements in Zaporizhzhia oblast. The occupiers mostly attacked by drones. 2 people were killed and 12 injured as a result of attacks on Zaporizhzhia city, Zaporizhzhia oblast and Polohy region.
Mykolaiv oblast
Based on the information provided by Mykolaiv RMA, the russian military attacked a locomotive and 2 Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railway) railcars in Mykolaiv oblast. There were no injuries reported.
Vitalii Kim, Head of Mykolaiv RMA, informed that the russian military attacked critical and transport infrastructure in the oblast by drones.
Ivan Kukhta, Head of Mykolaiv CMA, said that on 7 May, a russian drone attacked a transport infrastructure facility in Snihurivka. There were no casualties reported.
Referring to Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, during 6 May, the russian military attacked Mykolaiv oblast by Shahed drones. As a result of falling debris in Mykolaiv, a 34-year-old woman suffered an acute stress reaction. A gas station was damaged. The russian troops attacked Ochakiv and Kutsurub communities twice by Molniya drones and once by an FPV drone. In Dmytrivka village, a private house and an outbuilding were damaged. An artillery strike was carried out on Kutsurub community. There were no injuries reported.
Odesa oblast
Relying on the information provided by the Air Forces, today, during the day, UAV movement toward Odesa, Chornomorsk, Vylkove and Izmail from the Black Sea was recorded.
Kherson oblast
According to Kherson Regional Military Administration, at approximately 7:20pm, russian occupiers attacked Korabelnyi district of Kherson by a drone. As a result of the enemy strike, a 56-year-old man sustained blast injuries and shrapnel wounds to the chest.
At approximately 5pm, russians attacked Dniprovskyi district of Kherson by a Molniia drone. A 49-year-old woman was injured in the drone strike. She sustained a mine-blast injury, concussion and a shrapnel wound to the arm.
At approximately 10:20am, 2 people were injured in Komyshany as a result of a russian drone attack. A 62-year-old woman and a 20-year-old man were hospitalised with blast injuries and concussions.
At approximately 9am, russians attacked Zelenivka by a drone. A 59-year-old man came under attack. He sustained blast injuries and an acute stress reaction.
At approximately 9am, russians attacked a civilian car near Komyshany by a drone. As a result of the enemy strike, a 59-year-old man sustained shrapnel wounds to the chest, concussion, blast injuries and a closed traumatic brain injury.
A 68-year-old resident of Komyshany, who was injured this morning as a result of a russian drone attack, sought medical assistance at a hospital. As a result of the UAV strike, she sustained a mine-blast injury and concussion. The victim will undergo outpatient treatment.
Yesterday at approximately 3:20pm, russian occupiers attacked a volunteers’ vehicle in Dudchany, Mylove community, by a drone. 2 men aged 21 and 23 were injured in the enemy strike. Ukraine and Norway have agreed to establish the first joint production of Ukrainian drones. The project involves the production of several thousand mid-strike drones in Norway. All products within the project will be transferred to the Ukrainian Defense Forces. The initiative is financed by the Norwegian side with additional funds over and above the already foreseen $7bn in defense assistance to Ukraine in 2026. In total, in 2026, Norway plans to allocate over $1.5bn to purchase Ukrainian weapons for the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
