Shelling of border areas continues. Today, the following settlements were affected in Sumy oblast: Bezsalivka, Tovstodubove, Volfyne, Korenok, Budky, Iskryskivshchyna, Manukhivka, Sosnivka.
Towards Northern Sloboda and Kursk, the enemy carried out 80 attacks of settlements and positions of our troops, delivered two air strikes using five guided aerial bombs. Two combat engagements were recorded.
Towards Southern Sloboda, the enemy attacked once in the direction of the settlement of Hrafske. Currently, there are no attempts by the enemy to advance.
Towards Kupiansk, the enemy advanced twice in the direction of Pishchane and Kurylivka.
Towards Lyman, Ukrainian soldiers repelled three attempts by the invaders to advance towards Drobysheve, Zarichne and Stavky.
Towards Sloviansk, the occupiers made three attempts to advance on the positions of our troops towards Dronivka and Rai-Oleksandrivka.
Towards Kramatorsk, the aggressor attacked three times in the direction of Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Bondarne, and Mykolaivka. One attack is ongoing.
Towards Kostiantynivka, the invaders carried out eight offensive actions near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Shcherbynivka, Illinivka, Rusyn Yar and Sofiivka.
Towards Pokrovsk, since the beginning of the day, the occupiers have attempted 10 times to dislodge our soldiers from their positions in the areas of the settlements of Nykanorivka, Rodynske, Hryshyne, Udachne, Muravka, Molodetsk, and towards Chervonyi Lyman. Four combat engagements are still ongoing.
Towards Oleksandrivka, the enemy attacked four times in the direction of Ivanivka, Andriivka-Klevtsove, Novohryhorivka and in the direction of Zelenyi Hai. One combat engagement is ongoing. In addition, Oleksandrohrad, Havrylivka, Kolomytsi and Pysanets were subjected to air strikes.
Towards Huliaipole, there were 12 attacks in Huliaipole and towards Dobropillia, Zaliznychne, and Myrne. The enemy carried out air strikes in the areas of Vozdvyzhivka, Hyrkove, Rivne, Huliaipole, and Charivne. Three combat engagements are ongoing.
No active offensive actions by the enemy have been recorded towards Orikhiv.
Towards Kherson, the occupiers attacked in the area of Antonivskyi Bridge and Bilohrudy Island.
There are currently no significant changes in the situation in other directions. No attempts by the enemy to advance have been recorded.
Ukrainian troops are exhausting the enemy along the entire line of combat and in the rear.
Already, 305 life sustainability centres have been opened throughout the country as part of the All-Ukrainian Mental Health Programme. There are support groups for families of missing persons, military personnel and their loved ones, a Responsible Parenting Club, a University of the Third Age, a Women’s Club and many other areas of assistance. Support is provided by the All-Ukrainian Mental Health Programme, initiated by Olena Zelenska and implemented by the Coordination Centre for Mental Health of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
Recent war events in the east of Ukraine
Kharkiv oblast
Yesterday 144 combat clashes were recorded.
Towards Southern Sloboda, the enemy twice attempted to break through the defensive lines of our defenders in the direction of the settlements of Zybyne and Kruhle.
Towards Kupiansk, the enemy attacked five times in the direction of Petropavlivka, Novoplatonivka, and Kurylivka.
Viktor Kovalenko, Head of Zolochiv community, said that a 64-year-old woman was killed in Klynova-Novoselivka as a result of mortar shelling on 4 March. According to him, the issue of evacuating the body is being resolved.
Alona Sobolevska, Spokeswoman of Kharkiv police, reported that in Blyzniuky, Lozova region, a russian drone damaged a repair train, injuring a 30-year-old man. The strike occurred at 5:10am on 4 March. According to her, the man was hospitalised with explosive wounds.
Over the past day, the city of Kharkiv and 12 settlements in the oblast were targeted.
As a result of the shelling, 12 people were injured, including a child.
In Kharkiv, a 60-year-old woman and a 70-year-old man suffered acute stress reactions; in Chuhuiv, a 44-year-old and a 47-year-old man, women aged 32, 64, and 66, and a 7-year-old girl were injured; in Vilshany village, Solonytsia community, a 47-year-old and 63-year-old woman and a 90-year-old man suffered acute stress reactions; in Blyzniuky village, a 30-year-old man was injured.
A 45-year-old man was killed and a 45-year-old woman was injured as a result of an explosion of an unknown object in Kharkiv.
The enemy attacked Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv with UAVs.
The enemy actively used various types of weapons in Kharkiv oblast:

▪️10 Geran-2 UAVs;
▪️2 FPV drones;
▪️36 UAVs (type to be determined).
Civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged and destroyed:
▪️an apartment building was damaged in Kharkiv;
▪️7 private houses, a garage, 2 farm buildings, and power lines were damaged in Bohodukhiv region (Murafa);
▪️in Kupiansk region, a private house, a farm building (Hroza), a civilian building (Hrushevka), and a farm building (Vasylenkove) were damaged;
▪️in Izium r,gion 6 private houses (Oskil) and a shop (Malynivka) were damaged;
▪️in Kharkiv region, five private houses (Vilshany village) were damaged.
▪️in Lozova region, a railway infrastructure (Blyzniuky village, Enerhetykiv village) was damaged.
▪️in Chuhuiv region, a private house, a car, and three farm buildings were damaged (Chuhuiv).
Andrii Kanashevych, Head of Kupiansk Regional Military Administration, stated that two men were killed in russian attacks on Kupiansk region at the end of February. On 26 February, a 56-year-old man was killed in Podoly, Kurylivka community, and on 27 February, a 62-year-old man was killed in Kivsharivka, Kupiansk community.
The transit evacuation point in Lozova received 200 people in one day. A total of 21,238 people have been registered at the point since it began operating.
Oleh Syniehubov, Head of the Regional Military Administration, informed that the law on forced evacuation will allow decisions to be made on the mandatory removal of children without lengthy court proceedings for each individual child. Previously, due to the need for individual court decisions, the process could take years, which made it impossible to quickly evacuate families from dangerous areas.
He added that in Kharkiv oblast, anti-drone nets will continue to be installed to secure logistics routes. According to him, several organisations, both civilian and military, are working on the installation of anti-drone corridors.
Thanks to measures to decentralise the heating system in the oblast, which were carried out in 2024 and 2025, about 100,000 subscribers were able to receive heat after russian strikes on infrastructure facilities.
Donetsk oblast
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, near Lyman, the russian army attacked the positions of the Defence Forces 10 times over the past day. The occupiers tried to break through the Ukrainian defences near Shyikivka, Drobysheve, Stavky and Lyman.
25 battles were recorded towards Pokrovsk over the past day, with another 10 or more assaults on the Sloviansk, Kostiantynivka, and Oleksandrivka sections of the front.
Towards Lyman, the situation has remained unchanged for the last three months, with no occupiers recorded in Lyman and all russian groups being detected in time, with the main battles taking place in the air. However, russian troops plan to increase the pace of their offensive with the onset of spring, said Danilo Litvinenko, commander of the 117th Brigade battalion.
On 3 March, the police recorded 1,398 enemy attacks along the front line and in the residential sector of the region.
8 settlements were under attack: Dobropillia, Kostiantynivka, Kramatorsk, Mykolaivka, Sloviansk, Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka, Shostakivka, and Dmytrivka.
76 civilian objects were destroyed, including 65 residential buildings.

At around 10:40pm, russians dropped three KAB-250 bombs on a residential area of Sloviansk. One person was killed, and their identity is being established. Two people were injured, a 65-year-old man and an 86-year-old woman, who was pulled from the rubble of a house. 63 private houses were damaged. Police officers, together with State Emergency Service rescuers and medics, freed people from under the rubble and provided assistance to the victims.

The enemy fired artillery at Kostiantynivka, injuring one person and damaging a private house.
In Dobropillia, an enemy FPV drone hit a civilian vehicle, injuring one person.
One person was injured in Oleksiyevo-Druzhkivka as a result of an FPV drone attack.
Russian troops shelled Kramatorsk with artillery, damaging an apartment building, a service station, and six civilian vehicles. In Mykolaivka, there is damage to infrastructure. In Shostakivka, a private house was damaged by a Molniya-2 UAV strike.
According to the Ukrainian Ministry of Justice, Nataliia Pavlenko, Head of the Local Civil Registry Office, was killed in a russian air strike on Druzhkivka on 2 March. The woman was at work when russian troops attacked the city with aerial bombs.
The sculpture “Origami Deer”, which was evacuated from Pokrovsk in the autumn of 2024, will be displayed in six European countries throughout March. Zhanna Kadyrova’s work will be the centrepiece of the Ukrainian pavilion at the 61st Venice Biennale.
Luhansk oblast
Over the past day, the russian army fired mortars 13 times in Luhansk oblast and twice with automatic grenade launchers. It actively used barrel artillery. The russians’ combat missions were carried out by unmanned aerial vehicles and FPV drones. The invaders searched for weak spots in our defences towards Lyman and Sloviansk 20 times, attacking near eight settlements.
Starting in the 2027-2028 academic year, ninth-grade students in the so-called “lpr” will not be allowed to take the general state exam until they pass an oral exam on russian history. The russians are resorting to any means necessary to once again negatively influence the worldview of Luhansk youth. The exam will be held between January and April, after which students will find out whether they will be allowed to take the final assessment.
The invaders are using other, simpler methods in higher education institutions. They are hiding their campaign to encourage young people in the so-called “lpr” to go to war under the guise of career guidance events. Instead of meetings with employers, they organise talks with the military. In particular, in Starobilsk, they meet with representatives of the russian National Guard, who promise career prospects if you stay alive.
What is happening now in the north of Ukraine
Kyiv oblast
On 4 March, electric transport services, previously suspended due to power shortages caused by russian attacks, returned to full operation in Kyiv. Trolleybuses and trams are running as usual. On the right bank of the capital, electric transport resumed operation on 26 February. Trolleybuses and trams in the capital had suspended operation due to a power shortage caused by a series of russian attacks on the energy sector since January.
Kyiv City Military Administration reported that the capital has a microgrant programme of up to UAH 200,000 for veterans and their families to start or develop their own businesses. The programme provides microgrants to Kyiv residents with combatant status, persons with disabilities as a result of the war, their family members, and family members of deceased military personnel.
The Security Service of Ukraine reported that law enforcement officers have identified a russian major general of the russian Armed Forces who is suspected of involvement in organising the missile strike on 8 July 2024 on the Okhmatdyt National Children’s Specialised Hospital in Kyiv. The suspect is Major General Sergei Kuvaldin, who was promoted shortly after the attack on Okhmatdyt. It was on the orders of this russian general that the crew of a Tu-95MS missile bomber launched an X-101 cruise missile, which struck the children’s hospital at around 10:45am.
According to Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Kyiv Regional Blood Service Centre is conducting mobile blood drives in March. Over the course of the month, medical professionals will visit a number of communities in the region and the capital.
Zhytomyr oblast
According to the RMA, the PRO_MH_Zhytomyr Psychosocial Support Centre is operating in Berdychiv. This is the fourth such facility in Zhytomyr oblast created with the support of the project. The facility operates according to the PRO_MentalHealth model and provides comprehensive services to military personnel, veterans, their family members, and internally displaced persons. Supporting the mental health and recovery of people affected by the war remains one of the key areas of work in the communities of Zhytomyr oblast.
Sumy oblast
Sumy Regional Military Administration reported that in February, more than 1,500 russian attacks were recorded in Sumy oblast: 391 UAV strikes, 266 guided aerial bomb strikes, six missile strikes, 570 FPV drone strikes and 160 explosive drops from UAVs. Twenty civilians, including one child, were killed in russian attacks. A further 99 people were injured, including 11 children. During this period, 139 private houses and 33 multi-apartment buildings were damaged, as well as educational and healthcare institutions and energy and gas supply facilities.
Sumy Oblast Prosecutor’s Office informed that on 4 March at approximately 2:30pm, the enemy struck a vehicle by a drone in Mykolaivka rural community. Three people were injured in the attack. A 60-year-old man, his 23-year-old son and a 57-year-old woman were wounded.
According to the State Emergency Service of the oblast, on 4 March, russian forces attacked Sumy. The strike caused a fire in a non-residential premises and vehicles. Due to the threat of repeated strikes, rescuers temporarily suspended operations and moved to a safe location. According to the head of Sumy Regional Military Administration, the impact occurred in Kovpakivka region. A vehicle shop was damaged and windows in a multi-apartment building were shattered.
Sumy Regional Organisation of Ukrainian Red Cross Society reported that in Krupets village, a house was destroyed in a russian air strike, and about ten more were damaged. According to Shostka Mayor Mykola Noha, the enemy struck Shostka community by drones during the night of 3 March.
The Regional Military Administration informed that over the past day on 3 March, a 48-year-old man was killed in Esman community as a result of MLRS shelling. In Sumy community, a 37-year-old man was injured in an enemy UAV strike on a passenger vehicle. A 72-year-old resident of Myropillia community sought medical assistance after being injured on 2 March in a UAV strike.
From the morning of 3 March to the morning of 4 March 2026, russian forces carried out more than 130 attacks on 35 settlements across 17 territorial communities of the oblast. The highest number of attacks was recorded in Sumy and Shostka regions. The enemy used mortars, artillery, MLRS, FPV drones, UAVs and guided aerial bombs. Air raid alerts in the oblast lasted 21 hours and 33 minutes over the past day.
Civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged and destroyed:
- In Shostka community, a private residential house was destroyed, while private houses, outbuildings, a civilian infrastructure facility, non-residential buildings and private passenger vehicles were damaged;
- In Esman community, a private residential house was destroyed;
- In Sumy community, a private passenger vehicle was destroyed, while civilian infrastructure facilities, a multi-apartment residential building, private passenger vehicles and non-residential premises were damaged;
- In Bilopillia community, a civilian infrastructure facility and non-residential premises were damaged;
- In Shalyhyne community, a private residential house was damaged;
- In Seredyna-Buda community, non-residential premises were damaged;
- In Svesa community, a private residential house and a civilian infrastructure facility were destroyed;
- In Hlukhiv community, a private residential house was damaged;
- In Berezivka community, a residential house was damaged;
- In Znob-Novhorodske community, civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged;
- In Khutir-Mykhailivskyi community, a civilian infrastructure facility was damaged;
- In Richky community, shelling on 2 March damaged a private residential house, an outbuilding and a private passenger vehicle.
According to the Regional Military Administration, evacuation from border areas continues. On 3 March, 14 people were evacuated by local authorities in cooperation with units of the State Emergency Service, the National Police and civil society organisations. In February, 286 people left border territories, including eight children.
In Sumy, the first phase of a modular housing complex for people who lost their homes has opened. Two buildings with more than 30 apartments are already ready to accommodate families. Construction is ongoing.
Chernihiv oblast
Viacheslav Chaus, Head of Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, reported that during the winter, from the beginning of December 2025 to the end of February 2026, Ukrainian defenders destroyed nearly 1,800 strike drones in the skies over Chernihiv oblast. The highest number was recorded in January with 824 UAVs, and in February with 500.
Chernihiv Border Guard Detachment informed that during the day on 3 March, russian forces attacked three border communities of Chernihiv oblast: Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka and Snovsk. The enemy carried out mortar shelling (eight explosions) and tube artillery strikes (seven explosions), launched FPV drones (20 explosions), and dropped explosive devices from UAVs (two explosions). Twelve settlements were under enemy fire.
Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine
Dnipropetrovsk oblast
Air defence forces shot down 34 enemy UAVs over the oblast.
russian forces attacked four districts of the oblast, again targeting infrastructure.
In Kamianske region, a UAV attack in Vyshnivka community damaged transport infrastructure.
In Samar region, UAVs also attacked Pereshchepyne community. A fire broke out and critical infrastructure was damaged.
In Nikopol region, occupying forces continued attacks by drones and artillery from evening until morning, targeting Nikopol, Myrove and Pokrovske rural communities. A vehicle was damaged in the regional centre.
In Synelnykove region, the enemy struck Dubovyky community with a UAV. A private house was damaged.
A passenger train was also targeted. Some 230 people were in the carriages when russian forces attacked Dnipro–Kovel train. Railway workers stopped the train, evacuated passengers and transferred them to another train. The UAV struck several metres from the locomotive. No casualties were reported.
The enemy also attacked six regions of the oblast.
In Nikopol region, russian forces used drones and artillery to target Nikopol, Myrove, Marhanets, Chervonohryhorivka and Pokrovske rural communities. Three private houses, an outbuilding, an educational and rehabilitation centre and a power line were damaged.
In Kamianske region, a UAV attack in Piatykhatka community damaged five houses.
In Kryvyi Rih region, russian forces struck Hrushiv community by an FPV drone. A minibus was damaged.
In Synelnykove region, the enemy dropped guided aerial bombs on Pokrovske community. A 50-year-old woman was injured and a gas pipeline was damaged.
In Dniprovsk region, the enemy launched a missile strike on Dnipro city. Windows were shattered in an educational institution.
In Pavlohrad region, russian forces also struck Verbkivka community. A private house was damaged.
Vinnytsia oblast
The deaths of four defenders from Vinnytsia oblast were reported: Anatolii Kononchuk, Yevhenii Masliuk (Johny), Dmytro Sukhoruchenkov and Viktor Krychkovskyi.
Kirovohrad oblast
Funerals were held for fallen servicemen in Kirovohrad oblast: Ihor Pastika from Novoukrainka community, Pavlo Yakovchenko from Znamianka, Vasyl Kondratiuk from Pobuzke and Vladyslav Zaitsev from Novomyrhorod.
Ihor Pastika was identified through DNA examination. He was killed on 10 February 2024 while carrying out a combat mission near Klishchiivka in Donetsk oblast.
Pavlo Yakovchenko was killed on 21 February in a settlement in Kramatorsk region of Donetsk oblast.
Vladyslav Zaitsev died on 23 February 2026 in Kharkiv oblast during military service. He was 27.
Vasyl Kondratiuk was killed on 25 February 2024 near Vodiane village in Pokrovske region of Donetsk oblast.
Poltava oblast
On 3 March in Poltava, police officers provided emergency assistance to a woman injured during shelling. Her five-year-old son and a friend were nearby when UAV debris fell. The woman suffered severe bleeding.
Deputy Mayor Lesia Martalishvili reported that two people remain in serious condition following the russian strike on Poltava. Three injured individuals are being treated at the First City Hospital. One is in intensive care after surgery and remains in serious condition. Another severely injured person is being treated at the Regional Hospital. In total, five people sought medical assistance. Four are receiving inpatient treatment and one is being treated on an outpatient basis.
An extraordinary meeting of the Executive Committee was held at Poltava City Council. A decision was adopted to provide financial assistance to two people injured in the 3 March strike: UAH 50,000 and 25,000 respectively, depending on the severity of injuries.
Residents paid tribute soldiers Oleksandr Halaktionov and Vasyl Nekrasov was held at the Holy Dormition Cathedral of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine.
Oleksandr Halaktionov was killed on 18 February 2026 while performing service duties in Dnipropetrovsk oblast.
Vasyl Nekrasov was killed on 30 January 2026 during combat operations in Donetsk oblast.
Cherkasy oblast
Ukrainian Armed Forces serviceman Andrii Portiankin from Korsun-Shevchenkivske was killed on 20 February 2026 in Sumy oblast. The defender was 45 years old.
Three fallen defenders from Zhashkiv area — Yevhenii Zabolotnyi, Yevhenii Haiduk and Oleksandr Lavreniuk — were posthumously awarded state honours. Their families received the Order “For Courage”, III class.

Zaporizhzhia oblast
Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration reported that yesterday, 3 March, the occupiers carried out 624 strikes on 36 settlements in Zaporizhzhia oblast. russian forces conducted 21 airstrikes on Samiilivka, Lisne, Liubytske, Veselianka, Zeleni Dibrovy, Orikhiv, Kopani, Huliaipilske, Vozdvyzhivka, Dolynka, Hirske, Preobrazhenka, Novoukrainka, Charivne, and Verkhnia Tersa. 358 UAVs of various types (mostly FPV drones) attacked Novomykolaivka, Zarichne, Bilenke, Novoivanivka, Zhovti Kruchi, Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Stepove, Lukianivske, Mali Shcherbaky, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Bilohiria, Zelene, Dobropillia, Pryluky, Shcherbaky, Charivne, and Varvarivka. There were four MLRS strikes on Stepove, Zaliznychne, Novodanylivka, and Varvarivka. 241 artillery strikes targeted Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Lukianivske, Huliaipole, Orikhiv, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Bilohiria, Zelene, Dobropillia, Pryluky, Charivne, and Varvarivka. Authorities received 50 reports of damage to homes, vehicles, and infrastructure facilities. Two people were injured as a result of enemy attacks in Zaporizhzhia and Polohy regions.
According to the General Staff, as of 4pm on 4 March, there were 25 enemy attacks in the areas of Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Varvarivka, Huliaipilske, Staroukrainka, Sviatopetrivka, Zelene, and Tsvitkove towards Huliaipole. Two combat engagements with the enemy took place in near Stepnohirsk and Prymorske towards Orikhiv. Over the past day, 3 March, the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled 25 russian attacks towards Huliaipole and two more towards Orikhiv.
Mykolaiv oblast
On the morning of 4 March, the russian army attacked Mykolaiv with drones. According to Ukrzaliznytsia, a passenger railcar that had arrived for technical maintenance was damaged. One person was injured. Twenty windows were also shattered. A fire broke out Inhulskyi district due to debris from a downed drone.

Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration reported that yesterday, 3 March, six Shahed 131/136 attack drones and various types of decoy drones were shot down or suppressed in Mykolaiv oblast.
Yesterday morning, the enemy struck Bashtanka region, preliminarily with an Iskander-M ballistic missile. As a result of the attack, a warehouse of a farming enterprise and an overhead power line were damaged. Two towns were left without electricity; currently, 123 consumers remain without power. Restoration work is ongoing. There were no casualties.
Yesterday, the enemy attacked Ochakiv community four times with FPV drones. There were no casualties.
Odesa oblast
Odesa Regional Military Administration reported that on 4 March, russian forces carried out another missile and drone attack on peaceful cities and villages in the south of Odesa oblast. Transport and energy infrastructure were damaged. Four people were injured: two men aged 47 and 62, and two children — an 11-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy. One of the adults is in critical condition, while the others are in moderate condition. As a result of the attack, an administrative building, the road surface, and a vehicle were damaged.
Kherson oblast
Today, 4 March, three people were killed as a result of russian attacks. Kherson Regional Military Administration reported that a 76-year-old woman and a 35-year-old man sustained fatal injuries due to shelling of Kherson. Police of Kherson oblast reported that in Novodmytrivka of Bilozerka community, russian forces attacked a resident with an FPV drone while she was riding a bicycle along a village street. The 49-year-old woman died at the scene.
According to Kherson Regional Military Administration, a man sought medical assistance after russians attacked him with a drone around 11:00 in central Kherson. The 32-year-old resident was diagnosed with a blast injury and concussion.
At approximately 09:00, russian forces struck Dniprovskyi district of Kherson. As a result of the attack, a 69-year-old man sustained a blast injury and a shrapnel wound to his leg.
At around 08:00, russian troops attacked the city center of Kherson with a UAV. A man who was inside a car was attacked. He sustained a blast injury and concussion.
A woman who had come under russian shelling yesterday morning in Dniprovskyi district of Kherson also sought medical assistance. The 60-year-old resident was diagnosed with a blast injury and concussion.
Police of Kherson oblast reported that yesterday, 3 March, the russian forces attacked Kherson, Antonivka, Sadove, Kizomys, Komyshany, Sofiivka, Dariivka, Bilozerka, Romashkove, Yantarne, Veletenske, Zymivnyk, Chornobaivka, Dniprovske, Stanislav, Shyroka Balka, Oleksandrivka, Novodmytrivka, Rozlyv, Tomyna Balka, Molodizhne, Pravdyne, Doslidne, Beryslav, Novoraivsk, Zolota Balka, Dudchany, Kachkarivka, Burhunka, Virivka, Lvove, Odradokamianka, Olhivka, Tiahynka, Kozatske, and Vesele. Seven apartment buildings, seven private houses, a critical infrastructure facility, a municipal enterprise, a police service vehicle, and seven civilian cars were damaged. A police officer was killed, and 15 people were injured as a result of russian shelling, including two children and a police employee.
Police evacuated a woman with a child from a settlement that is under constant shelling in the frontline Kherson city community. The settlement is included in the mandatory evacuation zone for families with children, as constant enemy attacks pose a real threat to life.
Oleksii Butenko, head of the department for combating crimes committed in conditions of armed conflict at Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office, reported that since the beginning of russia’s full-scale invasion, law enforcement officers recorded the abduction by occupation authorities or disappearance of 1,992 people in Kherson oblast. Kherson prosecutor’s office is investigating more than 40,000 crimes related to violations of the laws and customs of war. A significant portion of these cases involves unlawful detention and torture of civilians. Among those being searched for are heads of cities and settlements, deputies of different levels, law enforcement officers, clergy, and others.
According to law enforcement data, 29 of the abducted people died due to torture or lack of medical care. Three more died after being released.

Sheptytskyi People’s House helped close Andrii Tsvir’s collection – they raised UAH 12,858 for a charging station for soldiers of the 80th Airborne Assault Brigade.
Masters and students of hairdressing from the Sokal Vocational Lyceum once again visited Lviv Military Hospital to provide free hairdressing services to wounded soldiers. Over 100 seriously wounded soldiers received the necessary care and attention. A local podiatrist performed professional foot care and they also brought honey and gingerbread cookies for the defenders, which were made by the lyceum’s confectioners and painted by students of Sokal School №5.
Rivne oblast
The number of people willing to take a course on national resistance is increasing in Rivne oblast. Currently, almost 400 people have completed a course under the program of training citizens for national resistance.
Ternopil oblast
The winter championship All-Ukrainian Veteran Petanque League was held in Ternopil. 32 teams, 96 participants from different parts of Ukraine took part in the event.
Khmelnytskyi oblast
Representatives of the RMA visited the servicemen who are holding the defense in the eastern directions. They thanked them for their service and presented them with the RMA awards. They handed over the necessary equipment to the units.
Chernivtsi oblast
Christoph Kamp, OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities, arrived in Chernivtsi oblast for the 1st time on an official visit. They discussed the state of ensuring the rights of national communities in the region and further joint steps to strengthen interethnic harmony.

In Comrat (Moldova, Gagauz Autonomous Region). Participants called for an end to russia’s war against Ukraine and expressed solidarity with the Ukrainian people and the Gagauz people of Ukraine.
