Every six months, the occupation authorities announce that the search is “about to end”. Last year, they even selected a candidate from Kaliningrad, who was supposed to start working in January 2025. However, something didn’t work out. The next applicant will be selected by July, and the services are scheduled to be provided only in 2026. “lpr” is confident that this will help stabilise the waste removal schedule. However, compliance with this schedule will be monitored visually and based on information from the public.

By 31 December, “lpr” is forcing everyone who was diagnosed with a disability before 1 March 2023 to undergo a re-examination at the medical and social examination bureau. That is, both under Ukrainian law and under the norms adopted by the invaders in the territory occupied since 2014. This applies even to those who have been issued a certificate for an indefinite period of time. Otherwise, they will be deprived of their pension. A russian passport is required for the procedures.
