Here is operational information as of 6pm:

Towards Volyn and Polissia, the situation has not changed. 

Towards Siversk, there are up to four battalion tactical groups of the enemy. The rotation of these units continues.

The occupier fired barreled artillery at Senkivka of Chernihiv Oblast and Starykove, Atynske and Zhuravka of Sumy oblast.

Towards Kharkiv, in the areas of the settlements of Bairak, Bezruki,  Borshchova, Chepil, Cherkaski Tyshky, Korobochkine, Nove, Mospanove, Petrivka, Pryshyb, Rtyshchivka, Ruska Lozova, Staryi Saltiv, Udy, Zolochiv, the enemy continues shelling from tanks and artillery of various types. 

Near Peremoha, Shchednik and Verkhnii Saltiv,  airstrikes were launched.

Towards Sloviansk, the enemy fire from barreled and rocket artillery near  Dibrovne, Dolyna, Hrushuvakha, Krasnopillia, Kurulka, Nortsivka and Protopopivka. 

The Ukrainian military repulsed the enemy attack towards Dolyna.

Towards Kramatorsk, the enemy applied tanks and MLRS to shelling Verkhnokamianske, Serebrianka, Spirne, Ivano-Darivka, Rozdolivka and Pereizne.

The reconnaissance of our troops’ positions in proximity to Srebrianka failed, the enemy retreated. Another combat reconnaissance attempt towards Vesele failed as well.

The enemy risked storming near Spirne and Ivano-Darivka, suffered losses and retreated.

Towards Bakhmut, shelling was recorded near Bakhmut, Kodema, Kostiantynivka, Soledar, Shumy, Vershyna and Yakovlivka. The enemy also launched several airstrikes near Kodema, Soledar,  and Yakovlivka.

Towards Soledar, the Ukrainian military inflicted fire damage and eliminated the enemy reconnaissance group. 

The invaders launched an offensive towards Yakovlivka, Soledar, Vershyna, Kodema and Zaitseve, suffered losses and withdrew. Towards Bakhmut, enemy units were partially successful.

Towards Avdiivka, the enemy shelled Avdiivka, Karlivka, Nevelske, Niu York, Pisky, and Vodiane with multi-caliber artillery. In addition,  an airstrike was launched near Krasnohorivka.

The enemy conducted assault operations towards Krasnohorivka and Pisky, yet failed and had to withdraw.

Towards Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia, the occupiers fired tanks and artillery on Kostiantynivka, Orikhiv, Pavlivka and ten other settlements. Airstrikes were carried out near Novoselka, Novoandriivka and Shcherbaky. 

Towards Pavlivka and Vremivka, the invaders fought some unsuccessful offensive battles.

Towards the South Buh, Posad-Pokrovske, Oleksandrivka, Olenivka, Myrne, Shyroke, Poliana, Pavlo-Marianivka, Chervona Dolyna, Kyselivka, Ternivka, Velyke Artakove, Bila Krynytsia, Ivanivka, Potiomkino and Trudoliubivka were fired from tanks, barreled artillery and multiple launch rocket systems. Aircraft were used to strike Belohirka and Velike Artakove. 

Two carriers of sea-based cruise Kalibr missiles are in combat readiness.

Eastern regions

Kharkiv oblast

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the invaders launched airstrikes near Peremoha, Pytomnyk, Rtyshchivka and Verkhnii Saltiv. The enemy also shelled settlements with tanks and artillery.

Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, reported that that night there were no strikes in Kharkiv. The day before, the invaders shelled civilian infrastructure with incendiary ammunition in the Kyiv district. The roofs of outbuildings were burning. There were no casualties.

The Defence Staff recorded rocket launches in the region from the rf territory. Russians struck Slobozhanske settlement. Three residents – two women and a man – were injured, the surrounding houses and cars damaged. One of the missiles hit a critical infrastructure facility.

Head of the Zolochiv community, Viktor Kovalenko, informed that the invaders struck the community in the afternoon. One resident was injured.

The invaders struck in Bohodukhiv, Chuhuiv and Kharkiv districts. The enemy shelled Tsyrkuny several times, burning houses, garages and outbuildings.

Donetsk oblast

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that Ukrainian troops repelled several attacks and disarmed a Russian army reconnaissance group near Soledar, but russians partially advanced towards Bakhmut.

Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko, reports that the invaders killed 2 civilians in Krasnohorivka, Donetsk oblast. Another 10 people were injured.

The Institute for the Study of War believes that Russian troops are intensifying attacks in Siversk, Donetsk oblast, to distract the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the counter-offensive  in the south of Ukraine.

Head of the Sloviansk City Military Administration, Vadym Liakh, informed that overnight Russian troops shelled the city once again. He added that Russian troops had hit the Pivnichnyi district and several private houses were destroyed.

Head of the Sievierodonetsk District Military Administration, Roman Vlasenko, reports that Russian officials are visiting certain areas of Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts to create fake ‘pictures’ for russian television. In this way, russia shows that it allegedly supports Luhansk and Donetsk.

Luhansk oblast

According to the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, russians are inviting even those who have nowhere to spend the winter to take part in a pseudo-referendum. For instance, in Svatove, senior officials from russia agitated refugees to take part in a pseudo-referendum, promising to solve all their problems. At the same time, russian invaders do not give up their attempts to occupy the entire Luhansk oblast and report on it.

Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Haidai, said that the invaders tried to assault Serebrianka and Spirne, which are close to the border with Luhansk oblast. He noted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine inflicted the fire damage on the enemy forces  and forced them to retreat.

Northern regions

Kyiv oblast

A pilot project on ecological recycling of construction debris left as a result of hostilities will be implemented in Kyiv oblast. More than 2 million tons of such debris have been collected in Bucha region alone, and about 5,400 houses in the oblast have been deemed unsuitable for living. The project will use technology from the Israeli company GreenMix to produce new construction materials from debris to rebuild damaged infrastructure.

Mine clearance activity continues in Kyiv oblast. Today, 19 EOD units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (94 people and 31 vehicles) were deployed in Brovary, Bucha, and Vyshhorod regions.

In Irpin, artists are painting sunflowers on war-damaged cars and other locations to pay tribute to those killed due to the hostilities and help people to reflect on the tragedy. The idea belongs to the Los Angeles-based artist Trek Thunder Kelly, who also involved Ukrainian artists in the project. The photos of these murals will later be turned into an NFT to raise funds for various humanitarian projects.

The “lucky charm” mural depicting storks, which are symbols of life and reconstruction of Kyiv oblast, was created in Moschun village, Kyiv oblast. It was created on the initiative of the Goodness Tour, the organization that runs art projects to help people affected by war. 

Famous Ukrainian artists Wellboy and Oleksandr Pikalov gave a concert at the Kyiv Children’s Railway. During the event, the stars met the railway’s students and displaced children from Mariupol.

Zhytomyr oblast

In Zhytomyr, a penal facility worker will be on trial for collaborative activities. Investigators collected evidence that the accused had publicly endorsed the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by russia and was forcing his views on colleagues and other citizens. The accused was fired from his position.

The Svii za svoho workshop in Zhytomyr oblast produces camouflage nets, ghillie suits, and helmet covers for the military in large quantities. According to Angelina Nesterova, coordinator of the initiative, the seamstresses work from 10 am to 10 pm and barely keep up with all the orders.

Sumy oblast

The Sumy RMA reported that the russian army launched 15 strikes on 8 border communities of the oblast – Shalyhine, Khotyn, Bilopillia, Znob-Novhorodske, Esman, Nova Sloboda, Buryn and Velika Pysarivska. 223 shots were recorded.

According to the information of the Sumy Operational Command, 7 households, a civilian car, a water pipe and a power line were destroyed due the shelling of the Khotyn community. There is a temporary power outage in the settlement.

The enemy shelled the territory of the Yunakivka community with mortars and barrel artillery, about fifty explosions were recorded. According to the information of the Sumy RMA, private houses, a granary and premises of a farm were damaged in one of the villages of the community.

The regional military administration reported that the Department of Social Protection of the Population of Sumy oblast will have a reliable and stable communication channel. 26 Starlink devices were transferred to all offices and remote workplaces.

A hub for displaced people from Luhansk oblast has opened to provide psychological, legal and humanitarian assistance. According to Serhiy Gaidai, Head of the Luhansk RMA, the coordination center will become a center of the Luhansk community in Sumy oblast. It is planned to hold events that will help people adapt to a new place.

The premiere performance of the Luhansk Regional Academic Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater, which moved to Sumy after the large-scale invasion of the russian federation, will take place. The theater will present its performances on the stage of the Sumy National Academic Theater of Drama and Musical Comedy named after Schepkin.

Residents of Konotop continue to collect funds to support the Armed Forces. Performances by the orchestra and choreographic groups, fairs, various master classes, body art, many photo booths and first aid training took place in the city center.

The Arboretum of the Velykyi Bobryk Forestry in Krasnopillia district was restored after a month-long occupation. Now, visitors can enjoy new exclusive locations – more than 100 types of decorative trees and bushes, a transparent beehive, a cottage for insects, a forecaster’s stone and an api-house.

Chernihiv oblast

The SBGS reported that the enemy inflicted fire damage on the border regions using mortars, MLRS, barrel artillery, grenade launchers and heavy machine guns. The Snovsk community came under artillery fire again.

Volunteers help people fill out applications for international financial aid in Chernihiv oblast. About three thousand applications have already been submitted to the People in Need Czech humanitarian organization, which works with the support of the EU. The program is designed for people whose housing was damaged due hostilities and for those whose relatives went missing, were killed or injured.

The police of the Koriukiv district participated in replenishing the blood bank in the central district hospital. The organized donation campaign will last several days. The police of the Koriukiv district urges all concerned citizens to donate blood for the needs of the Armed Forces.

In September, a survey will be conducted among students of the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University regarding the form of organization of the educational process – offline, online or mixed. Based on its results and taking into account the security situation, a final decision will be made regarding the form of training at the institution.

Chernihiv craftswoman Kateryna Zhiber makes jewelry in a modern national style. She makes necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and brooches made of polymer clay. The craftswoman will donate the money earned to the Armed Forces. According to Ms. Kateryna, the national color appeared in her products in 2014, when the war came to Ukrainian land.

Central regions

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

The occupiers attacked the town of Marganets at around 5 am, wounding one man. More than 10 private residential buildings and commercial buildings were damaged in the city. A fire broke out in one house.

Nikopol was shelled three times during the night, a total of about 20 shots from barrel artillery. Almost two dozen residential and commercial buildings, a school, and shops were damaged. Power lines and gas pipelines were cut, and restoration work is currently underway.

In the Kryvyi Rih region, the russian military is using remote demining systems and uncontrolled mine barriers in the settlements that have already been liberated by the Ukrainian army. Oleksandr Vilkul, the head of the Kryvyi Rih military administration, announced that the specialists of the State Emergency Service, together with military sappers, have neutralized more than 3,600 ammunition and mines in 6 months.

A hub has appeared in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast to help people from Luhansk Oblast. All employees of the hub moved from Popasna, where they worked in the city administration. The head of the institution Nataliia Klymenko says that the activists are sending humanitarian aid by post to the residents of Popasna, who are currently forced to live outside Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. Internally displaced persons from Luhansk Oblast can receive legal and medical assistance.

In Dnipro, the Theater of Drama and Comedy is preparing a visual performance Against based on documentary short stories about the war in Ukraine. The director of the performance is Anton Mezhenin, the director of the plastic solution is Yevhen Kariakin.

The Ukrainian national team won the fourth medal of the 2022 European Multisport Championship, which is ongoing in Munich, Germany. The first Ukrainian “gold” of the Multisport Euro was won by para-rowers Svitlana Bohuslavska and Yaroslav Koiuda.

Vinnytsia oblast

One month ago, russia launched an airstrike on Vinnytsia, killing 28 people, including children, and causing injuries to almost 100. 12 people are still in hospitals. In the city, the roofs of high-rise buildings and the houses are being repaired. The City Council estimated the damage at almost UAH 240 million.

 Kirovohrad oblast

In the Petrivska community of Kirovohrad oblast, the first harvest of Victory Gardens was collected – these were almost half a hundred buckets of onions. Alla Hornistova, the head of the volunteer organization Let’s help the soldiers of Petrivshchyna, says that almost 4 hectares of Victory Gardens were planted with carrots, potatoes, onions, beets, radishes, cucumbers and tomatoes.

Poltava oblast

Poltava volunteers and businessmen handed over six more cars to Ukrainian defenders. The cars will be used by soldiers of the Territorial Defense, the military service of law and order, and other units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Almost 4,500 books with propaganda and anti-Ukrainian rhetoric were removed from open access in Poltava Regional Library named after Kotliarevskyi. According to Tetiana Zelenska, the director of the institution, almost 7K such books are a subject to the write-off. Some of the removed books will be kept in storage, and some will be sent for waste paper.

Poltava sportsman Vitalii Shovkoplias, did 273 pull-ups on one arm in one hour live to raise funds for the Armed Forces. The representatives of the Guinness Book of Records have not recorded this record yet, but previously the largest number of pull-ups in this way was 220.

Cherkasy oblast

In Cherkasy, the  representatives of the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker of the OCU handed over a pickup truck to the defenders of Ukraine. According to Dmytro Yaroslavskyi, a priest, the car was purchased with charitable funds. The parishioners from the United States helped to purchase the pickup truck having spent USD 5200. The representatives of the Cherkasy Territorial Defense received the keys to the car.

Southern regions

Zaporizhzhia oblast

Towards Zaporizhzhia the situation did not undergo any significant changes. The occupiers shelled civilian infrastructure in the areas of the following settlements: Novoiakovlivka, Ternuvate, Zaliznychne, Charivne, Orikhiv, Huliaipole.

The police 13 reports of destruction of civil infrastructure objects as a result of shelling by Russian occupation troops.

The occupiers fired at Energodar again. An employee of the Zaporizhzhia NPP was killed, two more people injured.

42 countries called on russia to immediately withdraw its troops from the territory of the ZNPP. This was reported by the press service of the EU delegation in Vienna.

Rescuers from Zaporizhzhia received a special heavy-type radiochemical survey vehicle (SMRKhR-V). The car is equipped with the most modern devices necessary for operational analysis of radiation and chemical survey within a radius of 10 kilometers.

1,645 people, including 486 children, were evacuated from the temporarily occupied territory.

A hub for immigrants from Kherson oblast I am Kherson has opened in Zaporizhzhia. People will be able to rest, get all the help they need and go on to safer cities in the center. There is also a children’s space and a room for mothers and children in the hub. According to the Zaporizhzhia RMA, 741 people of the 1,600 evacuated yesterday are residents of Kherson and Kherson oblast.

Minister of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, Iryna Vereshchuk states that a military command post will be created in Zaporizhzhia to manage logistics for civilians crossing the demarcation line.

A fire broke out in the port of the temporarily occupied Berdiansk as a result of several explosions. This was reported by the Odesa RMA. Meanwhile, the so-called member of the occupation administration of the oblast Rohov claims that “the fire occurred as a result of a violation of safety requirements during welding works near the place where fuel and lubricant materials are stored.”

Mykolaiv Oblast

Ukrainian aviation launched 2 strikes on enemy strongholds in the Bashtanka district.

The enemy launched a Kh-31P anti-radar missile at Mykolaiv district. Agricultural areas were damaged.

In the middle of the night, the occupiers attacked Mykolaiv and Bereznehuvate with the Smerch multiple rocket launcher. Two houses were damaged. One person was killed under the rubble, another one injured.

The enemy shelled residential areas of Mykolaiv. S-300 anti-aircraft missiles might have been used by the enemy. One person was injured. Communication lines and civil infrastructure were damaged.

Russian occupational troops once again attacked Halytsynove and Shyroke at night.

The regional center, Bereznehhuvate, Pervomaiske, Bila Krynytsia, Shyroke, Lepetykha, Kavkaz were subjected to enemy shelling.

As part of the voluntary evacuation of the civilian population, registration for the evacuation to the city of Brasov, Romania has started in Mykolaiv oblast.

The non-governmental organization Vesely Delphin launched the project “Together for ecological democracy, justice and the rule of law in Ukraine” (TEDJusticeROL). The project envisages assessment of damage to the biodiversity of Mykolaiv oblast caused by military aggression of the russian federation.

Odesa Oblast

Civilians were blown up by a mine in coastal waters on one of the beaches in the Bilhorod-Dnister district. 2 people were killed, and another one injured. According to preliminary data, a group of men ignored restrictions on swimming in coastal waters.

There are no changes in the composition of the enemy fleet in the Black Sea. 2 surface missile carriers with 16 Kalibr missiles on board are on standby.

Denise Brown, the coordinator of the UN system in Ukraine, arrived in Odesa to control the exit of a ship with agricultural products to Ethiopia. The ship’s departure to Ethiopia is scheduled for August 15.

Kherson Oblast

Confirmed losses of the enemy during the combat day are 15 soldiers, 1 T-72 tank and 4 more units of armored and automotive equipment. 2 enemy ammunition depots were destroyed in Muzikyvka and Nova Kakhovka. The final losses of the enemy are still being investigated.

At night, the Armed Forces attacked the Antonivskyi road bridge, which connects the right and left banks of Kherson oblast. According to the South Operational Command, the status of the bridge is impassable.

Former employees of the Energy Distribution Company are independently repairing power lines damaged by russian shelling.

The so-called “authority” of Kherson oblast threatens emergency workers with dismissal if they do not write statements of consent to cooperate and receive wages in russian rubles.

Western regions

Volyn

Regional communal institutions of Volyn will send 10 cars for the needs of the Armed Forces. This decision was taken at a meeting of the regional council’s standing commission on the use of property jointly owned by territorial communities of the oblast.

The Kivertsiv city council together with the public organization Dobrobut sent humanitarian cargo for the soldiers of the 95th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine – food products, hygiene products, bunker film, etc.

In Novovolynsk, the residents of a high-rise building on Soniachna Street collected almost UAH 21K for a car for the military.

Zakarpattia oblast

Employees of the National Police Directorate of Zakarpattia oblast and their families went to the resort towns of Sabolch-Satmar-Bereg region of Hungary for a ten-day vacation and rehabilitation. The rest for law enforcement officers, who were on the front lines from the first days, was organized thanks to cooperation with the European organization TYSA, the support of the Consulate General of Hungary in Uzhgorod and the Ministry of Foreign Economy and Foreign Affairs of Hungary.

Head of the RMA Viktor Mykyta announces that 20 children, whose parents are defending Ukraine as part of the Zakarpattia 101st Brigade of the Territorial Defense, went on vacation to Poland accompanied by adults.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

The famous Ukrainian singer Tina Karol bought an apartment in Prykarpattia for the family of 9-year-old Yehor, who kept a diary in occupied Mariupol. The child kept his records, living under shelling, with a lack of water and food, and losing relatives. Later, the boy, together with his mother, sister and grandmother, succeeded to get out of there.

A charity open city volleyball tournament in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Together We Are Strong was held in Mykulychyna. The collected UAH 11K will be donated to the needs of the Armed Forces.

The Edelweiss Foundation handed over a bath and laundry complex to the 10th Mountain Assault Brigade. Thanks to its mobility and functionality, this complex will enable soldiers to take a shower, wash and dry their clothes in the field.

Lviv oblast

Within the framework of the initiative 1000 Cars of Freedom, 7 SUVs went to Ukrainian defenders on the front lines. In addition, the necessary humanitarian aid was handed over – medicines, food, warm clothes, sleeping bags, tents, military uniforms and other things.

With the support of the international organization Project HOPE, medical workers of the First Medical Association of Lviv were trained in International Trauma Life Support Advanced (ITLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). The training is aimed at improving the ability to provide emergency medical care.

Project HOPE and Infection Control in Ukraine sent medical supplies to stop bleeding to the doctors of the First Medical Association of Lviv. These are hemostatic sponges that help not only stop heavy bleeding of internal organs and the surface of the body, but also speed up the process of restoring damaged tissues.

On the initiative of the Department of Communications and Internal Policy of the Lviv RMA, a flash mob will be launched in the form of a series of videos called Thank you for Protection.

Families of Lviv servicemen left Lviv for a 10-day vacation on the coast of the Adriatic Sea in Croatia. The trip is taking place on the initiative of the Zadar County and County Commissioner Bozhidar Longin, with the assistance of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Croatia, Vasyl Kyrylych, and with the support of the Lviv City Council.

Volunteers from the towns of Shklo and Novoyavorivska rallied again and baked a large quantity of cookies and bars for the Ukrainian defenders on the front lines.

Rivne oblast

The employees of the Hoshchan House of Culture sew unloading vests, bags for first-aid kits and gauze bandages for the Ukrainian military.

A charity run was held in Dubno in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine With Ukraine in the Heart.

Ternopil oblast

The association and community of Lower Saxony (the public organization Ukrainischer Verein in Niedersachsen e. V. (Ukrainian Association of Lower Saxony)) sent humanitarian aid weighing over 800 kg to the volunteer center of the Ternopil National Medical University. The cargo included broad-spectrum antibiotics, painkillers, anti-inflammatory drugs, dressing materials, tactical backpacks for combat medics, etc.

In Ternopil, a charity fair was held in the yard on Bilohirska Street. The proceeds were transferred to the needs of the Armed Forces.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

Faina Husarova, a resident of Netishin, organized a fair where she sold goodies prepared by her mother. The girl transferred the money earned, over UAH 2K, to the needs of the Armed Forces.

Chernivtsi oblast

A rally in support of Ukraine was held in Paris. The participants demanded to recognize the russian federation as a terrorist state and save the defenders of Azov. They also called on French companies that have not yet left the russian market to do so.
