It has been the 581st day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression. 

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 6 pm:   

There were 14 combat engagements. The enemy launched a total of 44 air strikes, 27 MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and various settlements. 

The russian terrorist attacks have killed and wounded civilians. Residential buildings, a hospital and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed or damaged.

The operational situation in east and south of Ukraine remains difficult.

Towards Volyn and Polissia, there were no significant changes. There are no signs of forming an offensive group. Certain units of the armed forces of belarus fulfil their tasks  in the areas bordering Ukraine.

Towards Siversk and Sloboda, the enemy  maintains its military presence in the areas of russia bordering Ukraine. They continue to shell Ukrainian settlements from the territory of russia and increase the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine. The enemy launched an airstrike in the vicinity of settlements of Popivka, Chernihiv oblast. 25 settlements came under enemy artillery and mortar fire, including Turia, Chernihiv oblast, Khliborob, Chernatske, Rudak, Rozhkovychi, Yastrubshchyna, Sumy oblast, Odnorobivka, Hlyboke, Starytsya, Hatysche, Kharkiv oblast.

Towards Kupiansk, the enemy launched air strikes near Bolohivka, Kruhlyakivka, Kharkiv oblast and Novoselivske, Luhansk oblast. Vicinities of settlements of Dvorichna, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, Kyslivka, Berestove, Kharkiv oblast, came under artillery and mortar fire of the enemy.

Towards Lyman, Nadiia, Novoiehorivka, Nevske, Luhansk oblast, Siversk, Spirne, Vesele, Donetsk oblast, were the targets of enemy air strikes. The enemy fired from artillery and mortars at over 10 settlements, including Nevske, Bilohorivka, Luhansk oblast, Spirne, Rozdolivka, Donetsk oblast.

Towards Bakhmut, the Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled an enemy attack in the vicinity of Hryhorivka. The enemy launched airstrikes near Andriivka, Kostiantynivka, Pivnichne, Toretsk, Donetsk oblast. Over 15 settlements were shelled from artillery and mortar, including Mykolaivka, Markove, Ivanivske, Klischiivka, Andriivka, Kurdiumivka, Donetsk oblast. The enemy continues to increase the density of minefields. 

Towards Avdiivka, the enemy launched air strikes near Avdiivka and Vodiane. The invaders fired from artillery and mortar at over 10 settlements, including Novobakhmutivka, Novokalynove, Stepove, Avdiivka, Sjeverne, Pervomaiske, Donetsk oblast.

Towards Mariinka, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled 8 enemy attacks in the immediate vicinity of Maryinka, Donetsk oblast. The invaders launched an airstrike near Novomykhailivka, Donetsk oblast. The occupiers fired from artillery at about 10 settlements, including Krasnohorivka, Oleksandropil, Mariinka, Pobieda, Novomykhailivka, Katerynivka, Donetsk oblast.

Towards Shakhtarsk, the Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled an enemy attack in the vicinity of Rivnopil, Donetsk oblast. The enemy launched airstrikes in the vicinity of Urozhaine and Staromaiorske, Donetsk oblast. Around 10 settlements, including Bohoiavlenka, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, Blahodatne, Urozhaine, Donetsk oblast, were shelled from artillery and mortar fire.

Towards Zaporizhzhia, the enemy launched an airstrike in the vicinity of Novodanylivka, Zaporizhzhia oblast. Over 20 settlements were shelled from artillery and mortar, including Charivne, Robotyne, Mali Scherbaky, Levadne, Huliaipole, Orikhiv, Scherbaky, Kamianske, Plavni, Zaporizhzhia oblast and Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk oblast.

Towards Kherson, the enemy launched air strikes in the vicinity of settlements of Mykolaivka, Burhunka and Olhivka, Kherson oblast. Over 10 settlements were shelled from enemy artillery and mortar, including Antonivka, Dniprovske, Shyroka Balka, Kherson oblast, and the city of Kherson.

At the same time, the Ukrainian defense forces continue their offensive operation towards Melitopol and offensive (assault) operations towards Bakhmut, causing losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, exhausting the enemy all along the front line.

The Ukrainian Air Forces launched 7 air strikes on the buildup of troops, weapons, and military equipment of the adversary. Ukrainian defenders shot down 2 reconnaissance UAVs of operational and tactical level. 

The Ukrainian rocket troops and artillery hit 1 S-300 surface-to-air missile system and 4 artillery systems of the occupiers.

In Rostov-on-Don, a new trial of the heroes of Mariupol from the “Azov” regiment began. 24 heroes will be sentenced to life imprisonment for defending their country. They are charged with Art. 278 (“Forcible seizure of power”) and Art. 205.5 (“Participation in a terrorist organization”) of the Criminal Code of russia. The occupying country incriminates the citizens of Ukraine for seizing power in Ukraine. 

Ukraine purchased and transported diesel fuel to the russian-occupied Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. In total, about 500 tons of “Ukraine” diesel were delivered to the ZNPP. “Energoatom” purchased and fuel was transported through russian checkpoints. “We asked to agree on a corridor to supply fuel there, so that an accident does not happen,” said the Minister of Energy of Ukraine Herman Haluschenko.

Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

Kharkiv oblast

Illia Yevlash, Head of the press service of the Eastern Group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, stated that russian troops are forming 12 assault brigades towards Lyman-Kupiansk, consisting of approximately two thousand soldiers. According to him, more than 110K russian soldiers were spotted in this area, they have thousands of armoured vehicles, including tanks, armoured personnel carriers, special patrol vehicles and various artillery systems.

Also russian troops shelled Baranivka village, Zolochiv community, 29 times. Viktor Kovalenko, Head of Zolochiv Village Military Administration, reported that there were no casualties but three private buildings, outbuildings and power grids were damaged.

Yurii Fedorenko, Commander of Achilles company informed that soldiers of the Achilles striking unmanned aerial vehicles company destroyed three russian combat vehicles worth more than $7 million in the evening thanks to the technical means of radio communication and coordination.

Oleh Syniehubov, Head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported that work has already begun on dismantling the surgical unit in the Central City Hospital in Izium which was completely destroyed by enemy shelling.

Yesterday the enemy attacked civilians of Kharkiv, Bohodukhiv, Chuhuiv, Kupiansk and Izium regions.

As a result of shelling in Vovchansk, Chuhuiv region, a 65-year-old man was injured and hospitalised in critical condition. A residential building and outbuildings were damaged and a forest fire broke out.

In Vilcha settlement and Lyman village of Chuhuiv region, private buildings and outbuildings were damaged by hostile shelling. In Synelnykove village, Chuhuiv region, 2 private buildings, outbuildings and a private car were damaged.

A forest fire started in Borova, Izium region, as a result of shelling. In Pidlyman village, Izium region, winter wheat sow was damaged.

As a result of shelling of Kupiansk, a fire broke out in an open area, damaging the infrastructure.

In addition, Odnorobivka, Lemishchyne and Udy of Bohodukhiv region, Volokhiv Yar of Izium region, Vesele of Kharkiv region and other settlements were under enemy attacks.

Mine clearance is ongoing. Yesterday  pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service examined more than 3.8 hectares of territory and defused 142 explosive ordnance.

Donetsk oblast

Illia Yevlash, Head of the press service of the Eastern Group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reported that russian invaders are trying to regain lost positions near Bakhmut and are not conducting assaults towards Lyman-Kupiansk. In total, russia launched more than 1,100 attacks on Ukrainian positions yesterday. He also noted that russian mercenaries from the Wagner PMC as part of various russian units are being redeployed towards Bakhmut. However, this is a “psychological operation” as the number of fighters is small and they are not capable of performing serious tasks.

Yhe National Resistance Centre said that in the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk oblast, russians are preparing so-called “licences” for mineral extraction to legitimise the theft of natural resources.

The invaders started building a railway line that will connect Rostov and the temporarily occupied Mariupol. Mariupol City Council stated that it will simplify military logistics and reduce the dependence of russian army on the Crimean bridge.

According to Donetsk Regional Military Administration, russian troops destroyed and damaged 66 sports facilities in Donetsk oblast. These include stadiums, sports complexes, etc. The preliminary damage was estimated as UAH 3.5 billion.

The RMA added that currently, 77021 households (about 230K people) in Donetsk oblast need 302,901 cubic metres of wood for heating their homes, including 3,819 cubic metres for 1,2673 households (about 38K people) in the frontline and de-occupied communities of the region.

Oleksii Roslov, Head of Kostiantynivka City Military Administration, reported about enemy shelling of the private sector in the afternoon. The State Emergency Service, police and other services are working at the site of the shelling to eliminate the aftermath. Donetsk Prosecutor’s Office confirmed that one woman was injured.

Also russian troops launched an air strike on downtown Avdiivka. Since the beginning of the day, they have shelled the city 12 times. There were no casualties.

Anastasiia Miedviedieva, Spokeswoman of Donetsk Prosecutor’s Office, said that Toretsk and Kalynivka of Chasiv Yar community were targeted. The shelling killed a resident of Kalynivka and injured three people in Toretsk. According to preliminary information, russian troops used guided and high-explosive bombs and tanks.

Russian army destroyed 22 residential buildings, a bus station, trade pavilions, a business and a hangar yesterday. In total, the occupying forces attacked six towns and villages in the region.

Towards Volnovakha, russians attacked Vuhledar 24, with no casualties.

Towards Donetsk, 1 person was injured in Orlivka of Ocheretyne community. As a result of russian shelling, an agricultural enterprise and a private building were damaged in Zoria and Kurakhivka of Kurakhove community.

Towards Horlivka, 5 buildings were damaged in Toretsk community: 2 in Petrivka and 3 in Shcherbynivka. In Chasiv Yar community, 7 private buildings, 1 apartment building and 1 industrial building were damaged. 15 private buildings were damaged in Kostiantynivka.

Towards Lysychansk, 1 building was destroyed and 4 more damaged in Zvanivka. In Siversk, 6 streets were hit.

Ihor Moroz, Acting Head of Donetsk RNA, reported that on 25 September, russians injured one civilian in Orlivka. 

Luhansk oblast

Based on the information provided by Ilia Yevlash, Head of the press service of the Eastern Group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a russian tank and four ammunition depots were destroyed towards Lyman-Kupiansk. The enemy took an operational pause in this area of the frontline to conduct ground offensives. However, russians launched 579 artillery attacks yesterday. The enemy used aircraft 14 more times. Meanwhile, our defenders eliminated 64 invaders. A russian tank, seven vehicles used by the invaders to transport personnel and provisions, six unmanned aerial vehicles and four field ammunition depots were destroyed.

While preparing for the next assaults, the enemy focuses on aviation. Thee are using both planes and helicopters along the frontline in Luhansk oblast. Yesterday alone, Nadiia and Novoiehorivka were hit from the sky. Artillery attacks remain at the same level as the enemy uses it in average 400 to 600 times a day.Yesterday russians shelled Makiivka, Nevske and Bilohorivka.

Roman Vlasenko, Head of Luhansk Regional Military Administration, said that in August-September russians suffered significant losses in Luhansk oblast. They were forced to bring up reserves. The invaders are now focused on preparing for assaults and logistics and near the front line, they are setting up in Lysychansk, Rubizhne, Sievierodonetsk and in the surrounding countryside, among the civilian population.

According to Luhansk RMA, a year and a half after the occupation of Rubizhne, they started talking about the possible restoration of damaged apartment buildings. There were no demonstrative repairs in the city even before the so-called ‘first elections’. Therefore, residents were offered to repair their homes on their own. The occupation administration can provide boards, nails and roof slates in limited quantities.

Residents of Rubizhne, Sievierodonetsk and Lysychansk, live without mobile connection and internet. The closest place to call your family is Varvarivka. But the connection is better in Smolianynove which is still far away. Not only employees of the water utility but also of other housing and communal services are not satisfied with the state of affairs in the town. Those who got jobs there this year have not yet seen a single salary.

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

Every day, pyrotechnicians clean the polluted territories of Kyiv oblast from explosive objects. As reported by the State Emergency Service, more than 79,000 units of explosive objects have been discovered and destroyed in the oblast by now.

Irpin city council informed that from September 29, points of invincibility will be deployed in the community. During the period of cold weather, seven stationary points of invincibility will be deployed, if necessary, their number will be increased.

Kyiv RMA reported that the reconstruction of a high-rise building on Vokzalnaya Street in Bucha began with the funds of the Fund for the Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression. At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, fierce battles were fought there – the street was practically destroyed due to the armed aggression of the russian federation.

A charity event organized by the United24 platform and its ambassador entrepreneur Richard Branson took place in New York, where 635,000 dollars were collected for the reconstruction of a school in the village of Maryanivka. The funds will cover the rebuilding project, roof restoration, reconstruction and shelter arrangement. Children from seven villages attend the school, even despite the destruction, 120 children of preschool and school age continue to study there.

By the Day of Defenders of Ukraine, Kyiv will pay almost UAH 35 million in targeted one-time financial assistance. Almost 36,000 residents of the capital will receive additional financial assistance from the city under the program “Care. Towards Kyiv residents”. In particular, the people of Kyiv are members of the families of military personnel who defended the territorial integrity of Ukraine and took part in the anti-terrorist operation, who died or went missing; who became disabled as a result of the war.

Another educational event for women was held by the NGO “Ukrainian Women’s Guard” – training on economic security and social cohesion. The participants were trained in organizing and financing their own businesses during martial law.

KCSA reported that over 1,360 women and girls, including 361 displaced women and 145 people with disabilities, visited the Left Bank space “Vilna” in Kyiv during its three months of operation. In the space, victims of violence can share their experiences and receive comprehensive referrals to specialized services.

Zhytomyr oblast

Thanks to the efforts of repair crews from Zhytomyr oblast, residents of Trifonivka, Kherson oblast, have the opportunity to return to their homes. As reported in Zhytomyr RMA, the houses located on Vilna Street have already been completely restored – the roofs, facades, electrical wiring have been replaced in the houses, and modern metal-plastic windows and doors have been installed.

Estonian partners are helping to reform vocational education in the city of Zhytomyr. The goal of the joint project is to analyze the network of vocational education institutions and plan its development, primarily on the basis of the city’s development strategy, as well as to provide training for government officials and the administration of educational institutions.

Sumy oblast

The russians carried out 15 shelling of the border. A total of 70 mortar and artillery strikes were recorded on the territory of the oblast, including 6 strikes by the enemy using FPV kamikaze drones and the launch of 10 unguided missiles. The Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Esman and Seredina-Buda communities came under shelling.

Sumy RMA reported that the enemy carried out 3 attacks on the border of the oblast, 18 mortar strikes were recorded on the territory of Krasnopillia and Seredyna-Buda communities.

Director of the national natural park “Desnyansko-Starogutskyi” Serhii Kubrakov said that the park, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is suffering from russian shelling. According to him, the russian military is destroying the original ecosystem of the park, which was formed in the valley of the Desna River. The territory of the park has been shelled since the first days of the war – it is located along the section of the state border, the length of which reaches 30 kilometers.

Chernihiv oblast

During the past day, the russians shelled the border of Chernihiv oblast 4 times from their territory, Semenivka and Horodnyanka communities came under shelling. As reported in the SBGS, a total of 13 artillery and mortar hits were recorded in the direction of Bleshnya and Hremyachka, 60 strikes from AGS and self-propelled guns – in the direction of Hasychivka and Senkivka.

Horodnya City Council reported that on September 23, the russian occupiers shelled Moschenka and Senkivka of the Horodnya community, 133 explosions from mortars, barrel artillery and AGS were recorded. As a result of shelling in the village of Moschenka, five human housing were destroyed, one house was destroyed and burned to the ground, and its owner escaped from the burning building.

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

Two residents of Nikopol region suffered from night enemy shelling. The invaders shelled Myrove community and Nikopol with artillery. A 68-year-old civilian was injured. The man was hospitalised to the surgical department of a local hospital in moderate condition. The shelling caused a fire in a two-storey building. A private enterprise was damaged and an outbuilding destroyed. Another 5 buildings, 2 outbuildings, a car, 2 gas pipelines and a power line were destroyed. A 44-year-old man was injured in Myrove community. He was hospitalised. A private building, 2 outbuildings and a truck were damaged.

In the afternoon, the enemy attacked Nikopol with a drone and shelled with artillery. A utility company, an infrastructure facility, a private building, an outbuilding, a greenhouse and 2 power lines were damaged. There were no casualties.

IDPs, who lost their jobs due to russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, are learning new professions. The City Council’s Labour and Employment Inspectorate has initiated retraining courses for them. They are being trained as hairdressers, electric and gas welders, cashiers, pastry chefs, pizza makers and sewers. In total, 72 people have completed the programme over the past year and all of them are now employed.

Vinnytsia oblast

Vinnytsia residents sent another humanitarian aid to Kalynivske community, Kherson oblast. Four construction teams of twenty people formed by local communities in the region continue to work in Kalynivske.

Recently, there was another rotation of specialists. In a village in Kherson oblast, Vinnytsia residents fully repaired two houses and completed the main works on installing roofs and windows in eight others. By the end of September, they plan to repair four more houses.

That’s why humanitarian aid with construction materials was sent to Kalynivske. Bar community also donated a fire truck to the needs of Kalynivske residents.

Kirovohrad oblast

Employees of utility companies from communities in Kirovohrad oblast restored 50 houses in the de-occupied Mala Oleksandrivka village of Kherson oblast. They plan to restore 81 more houses by the end of the year. They are doing this at the expense of the communities of Kirovograd oblast, philanthropists and the state budget. Almost UAH 10 million has already been spent on repairs.

Poltava oblast

Dmytro Lunin, Head of Poltava Regional Military Administration, reported that the Ukrainian Fitness Challenge Championship was held in Poltava oblast. Military personnel, war veterans with disabilities and civilians demonstrated their skills.

Cherkasy oblast

Volodymyr Zelenskyi, President of Ukraine, has awarded emergency workers in Cherkasy oblast who eliminated the aftermath of a missile attack on downtown Cherkasy on 21 September. President thanked the rescuers, police, medics and volunteers working at the sites of russian attacks.

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast

Yesterday, the enemy launched 130 attacks on 27 populated areas in Zaporizhzhia oblast. Of these, 116 artillery shelling incidents occurred in Iurkivka, Orikhiv, Huliaipole, Levadne, Mali Shcherbaky, Preobrazhenka, Stepnohirsk, Stepove, Lukianivske, Prymorske, Plavni, and other frontline cities and villages. There were 4 airstrikes reported in Orikhiv, Robotyne, and Mala Tokmachka, as well as 4 UAV attacks in Huliaipole, Malynivka, and Mala Tokmachka, along with 6 MLRS attacks on Novodarivka, Tavriiske, Robotyne, and Mala Tokmachka. As a result of artillery shelling, a 56-year-old man was injured in Prymorske and transported to a medical facility in critical condition. Additionally, enemy artillery claimed the life of a 66-year-old resident of Orikhiv. There were 15 reports of residential buildings and infrastructure objects being damaged.

On September 26, five fires were reported in Polohy and Vasylivka regions as a result of russian shelling. This information was provided today, September 27, by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Zaporizhzhia oblast.

All children have been evacuated from five frontline settlements in Zaporizhzhia oblast. This includes evacuations from Huliaipole, Stepnohirsk, Preobrazhenka, Iehorivka, and Novopavlivka. This was reported by the Deputy Head of the Zaporizhzhia RMA, Ievhen Myronenko.

“Work for Internally Displaced Persons: You Are Needed!” campaign is ongoing in Zaporizhzhia oblast. The campaign is aimed at helping internally displaced individuals find employment and adapt in new circumstances. Since the beginning of the year, over 2,500 people have used the services of the regional employment service, with 515 of them already employed. In addition, 354 internally displaced individuals have received vouchers for training to acquire new professions or enhance their qualifications. The most common specialties people are being trained in include psychology, social work, and nursing.

Mykolaiv oblast

On September 27, the “South” Air Command forces shot down a russian reconnaissance drone “Orlan-10” oover Mykolaiv oblast. This information was reported by the press service of the “South” Air Command.

The United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS), in cooperation with the Danish pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk, has provided new equipment to Mykolaiv Regional Blood Transfusion Station. The received equipment includes a donor blood processing system, an automatic blood component extractor, an apheresis system, and other necessary devices used to automate various stages of blood processing. This was announced by the press service of Mykolaiv RMA.

As of September 26, out of 100 vessels that were blocked in Ukrainian ports at the beginning of the full-scale aggression by russia against Ukraine, there are 50 vessels remaining. The largest number of these vessels, specifically 29, isl located in the ports of Mykolaiv oblast. This information was reported by the joint Monitoring Group of BlackSeaNews and the Institute of Black Sea Strategic Studies.

From September 26 to 27, the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, in collaboration with the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, conducted command and staff training on the topic: “Practice of using material and technical means for heating, water supply, and sewage facilities to prevent, eliminate emergencies, and their consequences.” Representatives of the management authorities and civil defense forces of Mykolaiv branch of the unified state civil defense system participated in the exercises at the regional level, including representatives of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Mykolaiv oblast. During the two days, participants practiced actions in the event of emergencies with prolonged power outages, interruption of heat and water supply services, and more.

Odesa oblast

On September 23, 2023, the city of Rozdilna celebrated a significant milestone – its 160th anniversary. Leading up to this special occasion, the local Department of Culture organized a series of events, including a fair, sports competitions, a concert, and even the setting of a Ukrainian record for this memorable date. A charity fair called “Believe in the Armed Forces of Ukraine” was held. The raised funds in amount of almost 78K hryvnias will be used for the needs of the local defenders. “Rushnyk of Victory” embroidered by Rozdilna craftswomen was certfied as national record by the head of the National Register of Records of Ukraine, Lana Vetrova. Now, this rushnyk will serve as a talisman not only for Rozdilna but also for all the defenders who protect the peaceful skies.

Odesa City Council and the United Nations Population Fund in Ukraine signed a Memorandum of Understanding regarding the implementation of the project “Comprehensive Approach to Addressing Violence Against Women and Girls in Ukraine.” Another joint project called “SHE-Hub” (“VNA-Hub”) aimed at developing the professional potential and financial capabilities of women who have suffered from domestic and gender-based violence or are at risk was presented in Odesa on September 27. The name of the career hub “SHE” (VONA) consists of the first letters of four words – Free, Empowered, Independent, Ambitious. The project coordinator, Hanna Ilina, noted that “SHE-Hub Odesa” is a place where women who have been affected by the war can find support, gain employment, and acquire a profession. The career hub offers women services to enhance their professional skills and secure successful employment.

Kherson oblast

Today, the russian army attacked Shyrokа Balka in Stanislav community. Due to the impact of enemy shells, dry grass caught fire, and local residents’ homes were also damaged. Additionally, at 05:00 today, the russian army launched an aerial attack near Mykolaivka in Beryslav region.

Yesterday, the enemy conducted 119 attacks, firing 557 shells from mortars, artillery, “Grad” rockets, tanks, aircraft, and drones, including two missile strikes. russian military targeted residential areas of populated areas in the region, educational institutions, factories, a penitentiary institution in Kherson, and a medical facility in Beryslav. As a result of russian aggression, 12 people were wounded.

A 49-year-old man was collecting firewood in a forest near Blahodatne, and stepped on an unidentified explosive device, which detonated. Volyn oblast

Zakarpattia oblast

The Caritas of the Czech Republic CF is ready to continue cooperation in creating comfortable housing for displaced people in Zakarpattia. In particular, the fund plans to finance repair works and the installation of sewage treatment facilities in the cells, which will later be able to accommodate people from war zones.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

Prykarpattia participated in the restoration of Kherson oblast within the framework of the all-Ukrainian Side by Side project. In the village of Davidiv Brid of Velukooleksandriv community, as a result of russian aggression, about 200 residential buildings were damaged, 13 homes and infrastructure facilities (a school, a kindergarten, a cultural center, and a dispensary) were completely destroyed. In July, construction crews from the oblast started working, whose task was to rebuild 11 residential buildings. Today, work has already been completed on 6️ of them, and major facade repairs are underway in others. The oblast allocated UAH 10,835 mln from the regional budget and budgets of local communities to restore housing for the residents of the village of Davydiv Brid.

Lviv oblast

42 servicemen after being wounded at the weekend took part in the two-day camp Rehabilitation Through Tourism 2.0. They were accompanied by over 20 volunteers and relatives. During the camp, the military climbed to the top, crossed 16 km by river and passed narrow passages through a cave.

Ternopil regional employment center  reported that employers of Ternopil oblast employed 28 combatants.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

Oleksandr Simchyshyn, Head of Khmelnytskyi, announced that an Opel semi-truck, 2 Dji Mavic 3 and Dji Mavic Fly Combo quadcopters, special clothes and shoes were sent from the city for one of the combat special forces.

Chernivtsi oblast

The RMA reported that in Bukovyna, the Help School project is being executed. All willing students of the oblast will learn to provide medical and psychological first aid.

International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)

The UN reported that during the large-scale war in Ukraine, the killing of 9,701 civilians were confirmed, of which 555 were children. At least 4 154 civilians were killed in March 2022, the highest number in a month since the full-scale invasion began.

UAH 21,8 billion of grant funds from the Government of Japan will be directed to projects for the reconstruction of Ukraine.
