It has been the 567th day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression. 

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 6 pm:  

The russian federation conducted another massive air strike with Iranian Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs in Odesa and Sumy oblasts. They targeted the port infrastructure in the cities of Izmail and Reni in Odesa oblast. The air defense destroyed 34 out of 45 enemy Shahed UAVs. In total, the russian invaders launched 1 missile, 80 air strikes and 32 MLRS strikes at the positions of Ukrainian troops and various settlements. 

The russian terrorist attacks killed and wounded civilians. Port infrastructure, residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.

There were 24 combat engagements.

The operational situation in the east and south of Ukraine remains difficult.

Towards Volyn and Polissia, there were no significant changes. There are no signs of offensive groups being formed. Certain units of the Belarusian armed forces are performing tasks in the areas bordering Ukraine.

Towards Siversk and Sloboda, the enemy maintains its military presence in the border areas, continues shelling settlements from the territory of russia, and unsuccessfully tries to carry out armed provocations assaulting Ukrainian border areas. The enemy launched air strikes in the vicinity of Morokhovets, Pletenivka, Kharkiv oblast and Stepok, Sumy oblast. Over 30 settlements came under enemy artillery and mortar fire, including Karpovychi, Hremiachka, Osove, Chernihiv oblast, Yastrubyne, Sadky, Velyka Pysarivka, Sumy oblast, Ohirtseve, Zybyne, Kharkiv oblast.

Towards Kupiansk, Ukrainian defenders repelled the russian attack northeast of Berestove, Kharkiv oblast. The enemy launched air strikes in the vicinities of Petropavlivka, Kyslivka, Kharkiv oblast and Novoselivske, Luhansk oblast. The settlements of Fyholivka, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Synkivka, Kyslivka, Kotlyarivka, Kharkiv oblast were shelled with enemy artillery and mortar. 

Towards Lyman, the enemy did not conduct any offensive actions and continued to regroup its troops. The invaders launched air strikes against the settlements of Novoiehorivka, Bilohorivka, Luhansk oblast, and Siversk, Spirne, Donetsk oblast. Russian occupiers shelled with artillery and mortars more than 20 settlements, including Bilohorivka, Luhansk oblast, Zarichne, Verkhniokamyanske, Spirne, Vesele, Rozdolivka, Donetsk oblast.

Towards Bakhmut, the enemy tried to regain the lost position in the area of Bohdanivka, Donetsk oblast. The enemy launched air strikes against the settlements of Kurdiumivka and Klischiivka, Donetsk oblast. Over 20 settlements came under enemy artillery and mortar fire, including Vasiukivka, Zaliznyanske, Minkivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Bohdanivka, Klischiivka, Donetsk oblast. 

Towards Avdiivka, the settlements of Keramik, Ocheretyne, Stepove, Avdiyivka, Lastochkyne, Pervomaiske, Donetsk oblast suffered russian artillery and mortar. 

Towards Mariinka, the Ukrainian defenders repelled over 10 enemy attacks in the vicinity of Maryinka. The enemy launched an air strike near Krasnohorivka. The invaders fired artillery and mortars at around 10 settlements, including Krasnohorivka, Mariinka, Pobieda, Novomykhailivka, Kostiantynivka, Donetsk oblast.

Towards Shakhtarsk, the enemy launched air strikes at the settlements of Prechystivka, Novomaiorske, Urozhaine, Donetsk oblast. Around 10 settlements, including Vodiane, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Novoukrainka, Zolota Nyva, Urozhaine, Donetsk oblast, came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.

Towards Zaporizhzhia, the invaders fired artillery and mortars at more than 15 settlements, including Orikhiv, Huliaipole, Robotyne, Stepove, Pyatykhatky, Zaporizhzhia oblast and Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk oblast.

Towards Kherson, the enemy launched air strikes in the vicinities of Odradokamyanka and Prydniprovske, Kherson oblast. The russian occupiers fired artillery and mortars at the settlements of Zmiivka, Odradokamyanka, Antonivka, Kherson, Tomyna Balka, Kherson oblast.

At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to conduct the offensive operation towards Melitopol and Bakhmut, destroying the enemy and liberating the occupied territories. As a result of assault operations, the Defense Forces have partial success in the vicinity of Klischiivka, Andriivka, Kurdiumivka, Donetsk oblast, pushing the enemy out of their positions and consolidating new positions.

The Ukrainian Air Force launched 10 air strikes on the concentrations of troops, weapons, and military equipment as well as 2 strikes against anti-aircraft missile systems of the adversary. 

Rocket troops hit 10 artillery systems, 2 ammunition depot, 1 command post and 1 anti-aircraft missile system and 1 electronic warfare station of the russian invaders.


According to Dmytro Lubinets, Commissioner for Human Rights, three more children were returned from russia and the temporarily occupied territory. The children will undergo rehabilitation, and will also receive psychologist’s aid.

Strathcom reported that russia launched over 2,000 attack UAVs on the territory of Ukraine. The first Iranian drone was shot down exactly one year ago.

Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

Ilya Yevlash, the head of the press service of the Eastern Group of the Armed Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that the russian army shelled Ukrainian military positions 557 times towards Lyman-Kupiansk with various types of artillery.

The invaders are trying to detect the area to launch further hostilities.

Small assault groups of up to 10 people are used. Each of them is given the task of gaining a foothold with the artillery’s support.

However, thanks to skillfully arranged engineering barriers and tactics of the Defense Forces, all measures are taken to prevent the russians from breaking through.

Kharkiv oblast

Oleh Syniehubov, Head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, said that the situation towards Kupiansk remains difficult. The enemy is forming another striking fist to try to break through the defences. However, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are fully prepared for any enemy actions, react properly to all threats and continue to hold their positions reliably, inflicting losses on the invaders.

The evacuation of civilians from 56 settlements of Kupiansk region, which are constantly under fire, continues. So far, 2,339 people, including 350 children, have been evacuated. Another 1,438 people, including 164 children, left on their own.

The Regional Rescue Department reported that a combine harvester exploded on an anti-tank mine near Blahodatne village of Slobozhanske community, the harvester was lightly injured.

The invaders launched more than 20 artillery and mortar attacks on civilian infrastructure and the population of the border areas yesterday.

The shelling partially damaged the front two-storey part of the fire and rescue post, broke windows, damaged 1 service vehicle and 4 private vehicles in Kozacha Lopan settlement, Kharkiv region, at 1pm. There were no casualties.

Dry grass and coniferous cover were burning as a result of the shelling in Vovchanski Khytory, Chuhuiv region, at 1:45 pm.

A John Deere combine harvester was on fire as a result of shelling in Vilkhuvatka village, Kupiansk region, at 3 pm. There were no casualties.

Vovchanski Khutory village, Chuhuiv region, was shelled around 3:50 pm. The shelling damaged 1 private building. There were no casualties.

Pyrotechnic units of the region examined 4.6 hectares of territory and defused 85 explosive devices yesterday. The work involved 33 pyrotechnic crews of the State Emergency Service (165 people and 65 pieces of equipment).

2 large foster families from Kupiansk region will take part in the Address of Childhood project which aims to build houses for large foster families who have been left homeless by russian aggression.

Donetsk oblast

According to Donetsk Regional Military Administration, towards Volnovakha, 1 person was killed and 1 building destroyed in Vodiane of Vuhledar community. A building in Novoukrainka was damaged. Vuhledar and Maksymivka were under attack.

Towards Donetsk, two people were killed and one injured in Krasnohorivka. Also russians attacked Avdiivka with Grad MRLs, artillery and tanks, causing injuries and damaging an apartment building. A recreation centre was damaged in Kurakhove community.

Towards Horlivka, a building and an administrative building in Toretsk and a building in Chasiv Yar community were damaged.

Towards Lysychansk, 2 streets of Siversk were under attack. Lyman community waas shelled 15 times.

In addition, a person was injured as a result of an explosion of an unknown explosive device in a field near Yakovlivka village, Kramatorsk region.

Two DTEK repair crews were under attack while repairing equipment at a substation in Volnovakha regionю Shell fragments damaged the vehicle and several shrapnel hits caused a power blackout. However, the vehicle managed to start and drive away from the site of the shelling unharmed.

Donetsk police reported that they delivered drinking water and evacuated two women who had been living in the dungeon for more than a year. Every day, russians attack Vuhledar with heavy artillery and aircraft. Despite the total ruins and the lack of all communications, 159 people remain in the city.

Ihor Moroz, Acting Head of Donetsk Regional Military Administration, informed that centralised heating is to be installed and launched no later than December this year in Selydove.

Mariupol City Council said that out of the more than 38K damaged private sector buildings in Mariupol, the invaders have restored only 5 per cent. The fake head of the city stated that about 1,600 private buildings had been restored. However, Mariupol residents say that the invaders are not helping with the restoration in any way, they have to do everything on their own and the collaborators claim these “achievements” in their reports.

The invaders are building two bath complexes in Mariupol. They will be located in Central and Kalmiuske districts, built by residents of St Petersburg, creating a ‘resort’ Mariupol for russians. At the moment, thousands of Mariupol families do not have their own homes as they have been destroyed by russian troops.

Luhansk oblast

According to Luhansk Regional Military Administration, the situation on the frontline is difficult, enemy shelling does not stop. Yesterday, there were 147 russian attacks, a total of 511 shells, missiles and bombs of various types were fired at Ukrainian settlements and positions.

Last week, the invaders suffered significant losses, especially near Novoiehorivka, without achieving the desired result. They are currently forming new assault groups to continue the pressure. They are also deploying new equipment to replace the equipment that was burned. All settlements along the frontline are under the threat of air strikes, without exception. The invaders use attack aircraft almost every day. Yesterday Nadiia and Dibrova were hit. Bilohorivka suffered from artillery and mortar shelling.

The Ministry of Coal Mining of russian federation announced that the number of coal mining enterprises in the so-called “LPR” and “DPR” has been reduced from 114 to only 15. Almost 100 mines have been declared unprofitable by russians. A significant number of these enterprises were forced by the invaders themselves to perform poorly through forced mobilisation. Many coal mining companies have been shut down due to multimillion-dollar debts for electricity.

Almost all the active population, including young people, left the settlements where active hostilities continued last year. Only russians know where the invaders find so many voters.

Men, who have not yet been mobilised, but are registered in the so-called “LPR”, are forced to visit the recruitment office every month.

Roman Vlasenko, Head of Sievierodonetsk Regional Military Administration, said that the epicentre of fighting in the region is currently in Svatove region. The invaders are losing the initiative and are trying to accumulate reserves. In Starobilsk region, there are russian military camps where they teach the prisoners how to battle.

The team of the Save Ukraine Charitable Foundation helped 13 more children return from the occupied territories of Kherson, Luhansk and Zaporizhzhia oblasts. In total, the organisation has returned 176 children to the government-controlled territory of Ukraine as a result of 11 rescue missions.

Another batch of bread has been delivered to the liberated settlements of Luhansk oblast. Starlink was also brought so that the locals could call their families.

In Dnipro, Popasnianska Street was named in honour of the city in Luhansk oblast, which was destroyed by russians and from which almost all of its 20K residents were evacuated. It is noted that Dnipro oblast has received the largest number of IDPs from Luhansk oblast.

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

Kyiv RMA reported that reconstruction of the building of the “Kashtan” kindergarten started in Byshev with the funds of the Fund for the Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression. Before the start of the full-scale invasion, the kindergarten, which consists of two buildings, was attended by 110 children. As a result of shelling, one of the buildings suffered significant damage, the other was completely destroyed and beyond repair.

3 modern multifunctional fire and rescue vehicles were delivered to Irpin from the German sister city of Borna. With the help of the new vehicles, firefighters will be able, in particular, to collect water through special pumps, cut objects if necessary and pull out the car with the help of a built-in winch.

Mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klychko announced that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the russian federation, almost 100,000 residents of Kyiv joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Among them, about a third are employees of communal enterprises.

In Kyiv, a rare photo exhibition “Environment and War” of the Chernobyl Nature Reserve is being held in the House of Nature. The camera recorded not only the losses, but also the power of nature of the exclusion zone as a result of hostilities and occupation in February 2022.

Zhytomyr oblast

At a working meeting of the Zhytomyr RMA with representatives of the World Food Program of the United Nations, they discussed the current food situation in the oblast, identified the urgent needs of vulnerable categories of citizens of the oblast and the state of the agrarian situation in the region.

Zhytomyr RMA reported that the oblast became one of the 8 regions where, as part of the Olena Zelenska Foundation’s “Address of Childhood” project, houses will be built for family-type orphanages that lost their homes due to the war. The project is implemented exclusively at the expense of international donors. This year, it is planned to start construction of two buildings in the region – one with funds raised by the Elena Zelenska Foundation, the other with funds from Estonian partners. Construction of at least two more buildings is planned for next year. The large foster family homes will be inclusive, energy efficient, furnished, furnished with appliances and equipped with an underground modular concrete shelter with metal blast doors.

Sumy oblast

Sumy RMA reported that three enemy drones of the Shahed-131/136 type shot down the air defense forces of Ukraine over Sumy oblast.

At night and in the morning, the enemy shelled the border twice, 5 explosions were recorded.

163 explosions were recorded. Znob-Novhorodske community was shelled twice with a mortar. The Krasnopillia community was shelled with a mortar 17 times, and 8 unguided rockets were launched from enemy territory by a helicopter. Two explosions were caused by drones, and the water tower was damaged. Khotyn community suffered 34 hits. The community of Velyka Pysarivka suffered 6 hits from a grenade launcher, 21 hits from a mortar and 14 artillery hits. 4 unguided missiles were launched from the helicopter. Also, the russian air force dropped an explosive device. Seredina-Buda community was shelled 8 times by artillery. As a result of shelling, a private house was damaged. Shalyhine community received 7 mortar attacks. Esman community – 28 mortar and 6 artillery hits. Three unguided rockets were launched from a helicopter in the Myropillia community from the territory of russia. The Putivl community was hit by 9 mortar attacks.

Mayor of Shostka, Mykola Noha announced that today, September 13, state awards were presented in the city to six families of servicemen who died while defending the sovereignty and independence of Ukraine.

As of September 13, the special commission of the executive committee of the Okhtyrka city council approved compensation for 341 applicants as part of the state program “eRecovery” for property damaged by the russian occupiers during hostilities on the territory of the Okhtyrka community.

A Veterans Development Center was opened in Sumy, where demobilized military personnel and their relatives will study and receive the necessary psychological, social, legal and other assistance. It is the eighth of its kind in Ukraine. The main goal of the Center is to reintegrate veterans and their family members into public life. It is about professional training and retraining, provision of the necessary psychological, social and other assistance. Veterans’ assistants will also be trained on the basis of the Center for Veterans’ Development.

The French non-governmental organization “ACTED” will finance the restoration of war-damaged housing for 147 families of the Trostyanets community of the Sumy oblast. Representatives of the charitable organization have already signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation with the City Council.

Representatives of the charitable organization arche noVa e.V. came to the Okhtyrka community as part of expanding cooperation and effective interaction. The subject of the meeting was a new initiative aimed at establishing a stable operation of the communal sphere, namely, the repair of the emergency section of the sewage collector with sanitation, the total length of which is 228 m.

Chernihiv oblast

The State Border Service reported that 9 explosions were recorded in the Chernihiv oblast over the past day.

The Novhorod-Siverskyi community suffered from shelling – 5 explosions were recorded in the direction of the village of Grem’yach,  4 explosions were recorded in the direction of the village of Zarichchya, Snovsk hromada

Chernihiv territorial center for recruitment reported with deep sadness that the oblast mourned 10 soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces who died while performing combat missions in Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

The exhibition dedicated to the hero city of Chernihiv was opened at the Plast-Art museum of modern art. The all-Ukrainian exhibition “Unconquered Hero Cities” presents the works of about 30 authors – artists, photographers and poets from different regions of Ukraine, who reflect their own vision of the russian-Ukrainian war. The first exhibition within the project took place in May 2022 and was dedicated to the city of Mariupol. Later, exhibitions were held in honor of Kryvyi Rih, Kharkiv and Mykolaiv.

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

The enemy attacked Nikopol region. They hit Nikopol, Marhanetsk and Myrove communities. 4 buildings, an outbuilding and gas pipelines were damaged. There were no casualties.

Mykola Lukashuk, head of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Council, reported that during the day, the enemy attacked Nikopol twice. They attacked Marhanets community with a drone in the morning. They shelled Nikopol with artillery in the evening.

Vinnytsia oblast

Serhii Morhunov, Head of Vinnytsia City Council announced that this year, the number of municipal institutions in the city, that will use solar energy as an alternative power source, will increase. This will be one of the transparent offices, where a solar power plant is currently being installed with the support of the Swiss-Ukrainian EGAP Programme of the Eastern Europe Foundation. In case of power blackouts, the panels will be able to provide electricity to the reception area of the Transparent Office and the invincibility centre.

Kirovohrad oblast

Kirovohrad Regional Military Administration said that a meeting of the Technogenic and Environmental Safety and Emergency Commission was held. They discussed issues related to the 2023-2024 heating season. The priority is to focus on the heating industry, housing fund, social facilities, water supply and sewerage. The mobile generation park is being replenished, the readiness of the invincibility centres being checked and the construction of shelters is ongoing.

Poltava oblast

Poltava Regional Military Administration informed that they continue to rebuild settlements in Kherson oblast as part of the Side by Side national project.  Repair work is ongoing in 96 buildings in Pravdyve and Chkalove. The teams have restored 40 households. They repaired roofs, replaced windows and doors.

Cherkasy oblast

Cherkasy Regional Military Administration reported that they are 86% ready to work in the autumn-winter period. Further actions were coordinated during the Commission on Technogenic and Environmental Safety and Emergencies. Specialists are working to protect and ensure the stable operation of critical infrastructure. Work is ongoing to build up the capacity of alternatives: backup equipment, generators and reserves of various types of fuel.

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast

Ukrainian Armed Forces continue their offensive operation towards Melitopol, inflicting significant losses on the occupying forces in terms of personnel and equipment, forcing the enemy to retreat from their positions. As a result of the assault actions, our troops have achieved partial success in the area of Robotyne in Zaporizhzhia oblast.

Yesterday, the enemy carried out 101 shelling attacks on 29 populated areas in Zaporizhzhia oblast. The russian military personnel targeted Zaporizhzhia with rockets, as well as the territory between Soniachne and Volodymyrivske. According to the press service of the National Police in Zaporizhzhia oblast, the enemy launched missile strikes using X-35 and “Iskander” missiles. The occuppiers conducted 7 MLRS (Multiple Launch Rocket System) shelling attacks on Novoandriivka, Mali Shcherbaky, and Pavlivka, and 11 UAVs attacked Huliaipole, Novoandriivka, Novodarivka, Olhivske, Stepove, and Mali Shcherbaky, with 6 enemy aerial bombs hitting Orikhiv. There were 75 artillery strikes on the territory of Zaliznychne, Robotyne, Chervone, Malynivka, Bilohiria, Poltavka, Stepove, Kamianske, Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Lukianivske, and other frontline cities and villages. As a result of the artillery shelling in Orikhiv, a 49-year-old local resident was injured. There have been 28 reports of damage to residential buildings, agricultural facilities, and infrastructure objects.

The occupiers have moved around 200 former prisoners from Mariupol with the aim of creating assault units for the capture of Robotyne . This information was reported by the General Staff. Also up to 120 former prisoners were transported from Luhansk to Melitopol. The occupiers use these former inmates for so-called “meatgrinder assaults.”

On September 12, a police evacuation group transported a family consisting of a woman, a 10-year-old child, and two elderly individuals with limited mobility from the front-line town of Stepnohirsk to the regional center. Currently, four families with five children remain in Stepnohirsk.

There are problems with fuel in the temporarily occupied Berdiansk region. Fuel is completely unavailable on some gas stations, and prices have risen in places where it can still be found after the pseudo-elections. This was reported by the head of the Berdiansk city military administration, Victoria Halitsyna.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the russians have caused nearly 13 billion hryvnias in environmental damage to Zaporizhzhia oblast. In August 2023, the amount increased by over 588 million 526 thousand hryvnias.

A chatbot called “Sviy Donor” has been launched in Zaporizhzhia. It is a program that will automatically collect donor and blood recipient data and create a corresponding database.The donor chatbot can be joined through a QR code located in hospitals and on the social media pages of the NGO “Svoi.”

Mykolaiv oblast

A pilot program to assist households in affected communities in Mykolaiv oblast has been launched. The Livelihoods program is initiated by the international organization Save The Children and is being implemented with the support of the Humanitarian Hub “Center for Business and Economic Development.” Its main goal is to provide assistance to residents who have completely or partially lost their livestock and poultry. Three communities in the region will be covered within the framework of the pilot launch of the program.

The Kinburn Peninsula has been suffering from fires caused by shelling since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. The entire peninsula is an environmentally valuable area, home to the Black Sea Biosphere Reserve, the national natural park “Biloberezhzhia Sviatoslava,” and the regional landscape park “Kinburn Spit.” As of August 22, 2023, 6,130 hectares of particularly valuable land have been affected only within the territory of the national natural park “Biloberezhzhya Sviatoslava,” a significant portion of which has been affected by fire multiple times. The assessment of damages due to the fires can only be made after the de-occupation and demining of the area. This information is reported by the Department of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration.

Odesa oblast

During the night of September 13, the russian army conducted an attack on Odesa oblast using 38 drones in multiple waves. These kamikaze drones were launched from three different locations: Crimea, Kursk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk. They struck infrastructure targets. Ukrainian air defense forces managed to destroy 32 of these UAVs. Seven people were injured in Odesa oblast, with three of them in critical condition. There was damage to both port and residential infrastructure. This information was reported by Mykolaiv RMA.

The “South” Operational Command forces destroyed another enemy vessel of the KS-701 “Tunets” type in the northwestern part of the Black Sea. This was reported by the “South” Operational Command.

Well-known Odesa sculptor Kyrylo Maksymenko, who is now a volunteer, brings back numerous findings from the front lines, including shell fragments, bullets, and even the hatch of an APC (Armored Personnel Carrier). All of these items serve as materials for his sculpture composition “Manifest of Peace.” The artist aims to transform the grim consequences of war into something even slightly positive through his art.

Kherson oblast

Today, the russian army launched an aviation attack on Odradokamianka. russian military aircraft dropped guided bombs on the village. An 81-year-old woman was injured as a result of the enemy strike, suffering from explosive trauma and concussion. Additionally, a 74-year-old man was affected by the aviation strike on Odradokamianka. Around 12:20, the enemy carried out another attack on the populated area, resulting in a 41-year-old man being injured.

Yesterday, the enemy conducted 85 shelling attacks, firing 531 shells from mortars, artillery, “Grad” rocket launchers, UAVs, tanks, and aircraft. One cruise missile was launched. The russian military fired 11 shells at the city of Kherson. russian forces targeted residential neighborhoods in populated areas of the region, a preschool educational institution in Kherson region, and the territory of an enterprise in Kherson. As a result of russian aggression, four people were injured. The police opened 13 criminal cases related to war crimes committed by russian troops in Kherson oblast.

A person was injured due to an unidentified explosive device of russian origin. A 34-year-old man found an unknown object in the forest near Beryslav. When he picked it up, the ordnance detonated. The man is in the hospital with multiple injuries, including traumatic amputation of his left hand.

Water purification stations have been delivered to medical facilities in Kherson. The equipment will provide drinking water to patients and staff at these facilities.

Volunteers from Global Empowerment Mission continue to support the residents of Kherson oblast. In August alone, residents of 31 liberated cities, towns, and villages received 572K liters of drinking water. Volunteers have been active in communities facing water supply issues due to the destruction of the Kakhovka HPP by russia. GEM also delivered over 22K food and 1,500 hygiene kits to these areas.

Social workers from the communities of Dariivka, Bilozerka, Stanislav, and Novovorontsovka communities received laptops. A total of 12 pieces of equipment were distributed.

Mobile clinic doctors visited villages in Kherson oblast, including Lymanka, Davydiv Brid, and Borozenske. They provided medical consultations to 135 residents of these populated areas, with 124 of them undergoing ultrasound examinations.

Another humanitarian cargo has been sent to Novovorontsovka. Residents received 963 sheets of slate for housing and social infrastructure restoration.

Volyn oblast

The RMA reported that employees of the pyrotechnic work group of the special emergency and rescue squad of the main department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Volyn oblast received honors and regular special titles for demining lands in Donetsk oblast.

Zakarpattia oblast

Zakarpattian schools will have the opportunity to improve the organization of meals thanks to the support of the UN World Food Program. According to the selection results, 38 general secondary education institutions of the region will participate in the initiative.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

The head of the RMA visited fighters undergoing rehabilitation in one of the city’s medical institutions. Svitlana Onyshchuk talked with wounded defenders, and one of them – Viktor Shatruk, Commander of the reconnaissance platoon of the 10th separate mountain assault brigade Edelweis – handed over the Golden Cross badge from Valerii, Zaluzhnyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The RMA held a meeting with representatives of the Happy kids CF (the Republic of Poland). They discussed possible options for cooperation regarding the implementation of the project to support children deprived of parental care.

The 3rd charity auction in support of the Ukrainian army was successfully held in Halych. As a result, was collected UAH 2 mln to the staffing of the newly created infantry battalion.

Lviv oblast

The RMA held a meeting with Mykolay Pavlyak, Ombudsman for Children’s Rights of the Republic of Poland. They discussed, in particular, the importance of teaching children in schools the basics of civil defense and patriotic education.

Builders from Sokal, Chervonohrad, and Sosnivka are rebuilding housing in Nova Zora (Kherson oblast) as part of the Side by Side project. 12 houses have already been built in this settlement. 30 houses need restoration.

An All-Ukrainian information campaign Work for IDPs: You are Needed! was launched in Lviv oblast. Its purpose is to strengthen communication between all institutions that take care of problems of the life of IDPs, to promote the effective integration of displaced persons into the social life of communities, and to motivate them to work.

Military from Radehiv community received humanitarian aid, namely, medicines, food and sleeping bags, from partners from the Panevezys District Council of the Republic of Lithuania. 

Rudkivska Gymnasium received humanitarian aid, namely, blackboards, computers, textbooks for learning the German language, rugs and sports equipment, from Plankenfels (Germany)

Velyklyubinska school received a set with modern sports equipment, includes, balls, a volleyball net, ropes, and various equipment for sports games, from UNICEF and Tech StartUp School.

The RMA reported that Drohobych RMA and the Security Union of the Anticorruption administration sent a four-wheel drive car to Drohobych Territorial Defense Battalion.

During the Blaho-Fest festival, about UAH 130K were collected in the village of Kulykiv. These funds were directed to the needs of soldiers of the community.

Rivne oblast

Rivne is preparing for the heating season. Currently, 892 of the 939 boiler houses have been prepared. The housing fund is 94% ready, the social sector is 99% ready, and the water supply and sewage system is 96% ready.

The RMA reported that employees of Zarichne multispecialty hospital from the village of Zarichne in Varas region collected almost UAH 711K for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine this year alone. All this is from their own wages.

The Safety Classroom was opened in Rivne Lyceum #1. It is planned to open 3 more such informative classes in the city.

Ternopil oblast

RMA reported that state and regional roads in Ternopil oblast will be repaired at the expense of the European Investment Bank.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

Gert-Uwe Mende, Burgomaster of Wiesbaden, and Mykhailo Positko, Mayor of Kamianets-Podilskyi, signed a twinning agreement between the two cities. In order to initiate cooperation between the two town halls, the delegation from Kamianets-Podilskyi, which is currently in Wiesbaden, will exchange views during various negotiations.

Chernivtsi oblast

The Department of Health Protection of Chernivtsi oblast reported that an interactive space for supporting children’s mental health has been launched in Khotyn multidisciplinary hospital.  

International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)

Germany provided a new aid package for Ukraine, which includes:

  •       20 Marder with ammunition;
  •       2 armored engineering vehicles for demining Wisent 1;
  •       8×8 HX81 tractor unit (formerly 50) and 4 semi-trailers;
  •       5 forklifts 8×8;
  •       9 cars (trucks/minibuses/all-terrain vehicles);
  •       3 ambulances;
  •       3K shells of 155 mm caliber;
  •       ammunition disposal material;
  •       1 satellite communication surveillance system;
  •       20 RQ-35 Heidrun reconnaissance drones;
  •       2 mobile antenna-mast systems;
  •       10 drone detection systems;
  •       1.5 mln cartridges for firearms.

Denmark will give Ukraine its largest package of military aid worth $833 mln. According to Reuters, the package will include: infantry fighting vehicles, tank ammunition, anti-aircraft guns. The entire amount is 5.8 billion Danish kroner and is divided into three stages – 4.3 billion Danish kroner this year, 1.4 billion in 2024 and 52 mln in 2025.

Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, announced that Ukraine will receive EUR 50 billion from the EU to rebuild the country.

Margus Tsahkna, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Estonia, announced that all Baltic countries have banned the entry of cars with russian driver’s license.

The British government is canceling visa-free transit for citizens of russia and Georgia at the country’s airports. The restrictions will enter into force on October 6, until this date a transition period is provided. Citizens of Georgia and the russian federation will be able to use transit with tickets purchased before 00:01 on September 8.
