Towards Lyman and Kupiansk, the invaders are unable to break through our deeply fortified defences, minefields and engineering barriers. Specifically, near Novoiehorivka, russians lost a lot of ammunition and the newest weapons, including heavy flamethrower systems, T-90 Proryv tanks and much more. Having failed to achieve success in this area of the frontline, the enemy focused their attacks on Novoselivske. Only yesterday, out of 636 attacks, 117 were conducted near Novoselivske.

At night 11 September, a woman, who was injured as a result of enemy shelling of Kostiantynivka, died in hospital, being in critical condition. Towards Horlivka, 6 buildings were damaged: 3 in Dyliivka, Toretsk community and 3 in Chasiv Yar.

Towards Lysychansk, a building and non-residential building were damaged in Siversk. Lyman community was shelled 10 times.

Previously police officers from the White Angels unit evacuated 3 children from frontline Niu-York. The evacuation itself is complicated and dangerous as russian troops are shelling the road from the city with missiles, drones and artillery.

Exactly one year ago, on 12 September 2022, the Security and Defence Forces liberated Sviatohirsk, which had been under occupation for more than three months. Police officers were among the first to return to the liberated town. Before the full-scale invasion, about 10K people lived in Sviatohirsk community, now it is over a thousand.

To celebrate the anniversary of the de-occupation of Sviatohirsk community, police officers, military personnel and the leadership of Donetsk RMA planted a viburnum grove, which will become a symbol of the community restoration affected by the war. In the future, new viburnum bushes will be planted here every year as a sign of gratitude to the heroes who gave their lives for the liberation of their homeland.

In September 2022, the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated Bohorodychne from russian invaders. During the three-month occupation, russian forces almost completely destroyed the village: they destroyed all the buildings, infrastructure, shops, the church and roads. During the russian occupation, two residents remained in the village. Now people have started to return.

Luhansk oblast

According to Luhansk Regional Military Administration, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to successfully hold back the enemy near Novoselivske. Currently, the invaders are not attacking massively in Luhansk oblast because Ukrainian Defence Forces inflicted significant losses on them last week.

Makiivka was attacked on 11 September in the evening. An elderly man was killed and his wife injured. The extent of the damage will be clarified in the morning. Every week, food and household items are delivered to the liberated settlements and the locals are advised to protect themselves. However, the fewer people there are, the more unwilling they are to leave their homes, even if they are damaged by the enemy. The enemy also launched air strikes near Nadiia, Novoiehorivka, Dibrova and Bilohorivka. Bilohorivka also suffered from artillery and mortar attacks.

Due to the lack of money, the russian government offers to pay money for the birth of a child only after five years from the date of obtaining the russian citizenship. This should reduce the aggressor’s state budget expenditures. This statement was made after the so-called “first elections” in the occupied territory, where documents were collected and the above-mentioned funds promised to all families with a child born not earlier than 2007.

In early September, the occupation authorities in Luhansk reported on the start of the school year and the desire of children to go to school under russian curriculum. However, there is not always anyone to teach in the destroyed settlements. People from Luhansk and russia do not want to go there. There are not enough residents. In Lysychansk, a job as a secondary school teacher is offered in a newspaper distributed on the street.

In some settlements, a so-called “secret ballot” took place right on the hood of the precinct commission’s car. During apartment visits, members of the commissions and the military checked the location of men who could be mobilised. The results of the pseudo-elections should not be surprising as the “painted” turnout of 96.7% in Sievierodonetsk and 98.36% in Lysychansk has nothing to do with reality. In Svatove region, humanitarian aid was provided near the polling station and people were treated with hot lunches. In a number of settlements, people did not see a single polling station or commission visiting their homes but the so-called “first elections” were held on paper, and in one of the settlements, commission members in the presence of the military visited only one street but the turnout was almost 100% according to the protocol.

Mykhailo Zelenko, a 19-year-old from Kuzemivka, received the Golden Cross from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He is fighting in a tank battalion of the 5th separate assault brigade.
