The enemy attempts to hold the temporarily occupied territories, focuses its efforts on restraining the actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and continues offensive operations towards Bakhmut and Avdiivka.
The invaders continue to fire at the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine along the contact line, erect defensive constructions and conduct aerial reconnaissance. The enemy hits the critical infrastructure and civilian homes by violating the norms of the International humanitarian law, traditions and customs of war.
The enemy launched 3 missiles and 1 airstrike, as well as 30 multi rocket launcher attacks.
Russians struck 15 settlements, Kupiansk, Kharkiv oblast, Bereznehuvate, Ochakiv, Mykolaiv oblast among them.
The situation did not significantly change towards Volyn and Polissia. The republic of belarus continues to support the russian armed aggression. Russia is relocating some units to the territory of belarus. Ukraine is still under the threat of missile and UAV attacks from the territory and air space of belarus.

Russians shelled around 20 settlements towards the South Buh along the contact line.
The occupying authorities of Kherson oblast are attempting to create conditions unsuitable for the living of civilians on the temporarily occupied territories. In Nova Kakhovka, since October 29, the Internet network has been disconnected and using the loud speaker the invaders urge locals to evacuate from the region within 48 hours due to the threat of shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The priority to evacuate is given to medical staff and other operative services of the city. Moreover, the occupying authorities issued a decree placing local entrepreneurs under the obligation to sell all groceries, close the stores and markets from November 01, 2022.
Based on the available information, the enemy is preparing to retreat artillery units from the right bank of Kherson oblast to allegedly relocate them to other directions.
The air forces of Ukraine launched one strike on buildup of the enemy’s weapons and equipment, two strikes on russian units’ strongholds, and two hits on anti missile and anti aircraft systems.

Currently, 248 kids are deemed to be missing in Ukraine since the large-scale war began, 7049 were found. The press service of the Office of the General Prosecutor of Ukraine shared this information using the data provided by the public portal “Wartime kids”. “Here is the information on kids affected by the war: 248 are deemed to be missing, 9441 were deported, 7049 – found, 96 – returned”, the Office of the General Prosecutor states. The juvenile prosecutors informed that 430 kids were killed as a result of the russian armed aggression. Based on their information, as of October 30, 823 kids were wounded. Over 1253 kids were affected as a result of the large-scale russian armed aggression against Ukraine.
According to the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, russia blocked 218 vessels transporting grains from Ukraine within the grain agreement. As of October 30, Ukraine was not granted permission from the Joint Coordination Center to move along the safe corridor and make required inspections. Among 218 vessels blocked, 95 left Ukrainian ports and are awaiting the inspection, 101 are awaiting the inspection to enter Ukrainian ports, remaining 22 are awaiting the permission to leave Ukrainian ports.

Kharkiv oblast

Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, reported that the enemy shelled Kupiansk, settlements of Vovchansk community of Chuhuiv district, villages and settlements of Chuhuiv, Kharkiv and Kupiansk districts.

According to the Regional Center for Emergency Medical Care, a 58-year-old resident of Kupiansk district was hospitalized with an injury.

Donetsk oblast
Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko, informed that russians killed 5 civilians in Antonivka, Druzhbav, Klishchiivka, Pervomaiske and Yelizavetivka. In addition, law enforcers found the bodies of 5 civilians killed during the occupation: 2 in Korovyn Yar, 1 in Lyman and 2 in Sviatohirsk. 8 people were injured yesterday.
At night and in the morning russians attacked the frontline areas from Marinka to Lyman.
In the middle of the night the enemy launched a missile attack on Druzhkivka, hitting the territory of a school and private buildings. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
In Donetsk direction: in Marinka community it was loud in Katerynivka, Krasnohorivka, Marinka and Novomykhailivka. In Avdiivka, there were isolated attacks. In Ocheretyne community, 1 person was injured in Pervomaiske.
In Horlivka direction: 2 buildings were damaged in Toretsk. In Bakhmut, 2 people were injured, 4 apartments, 4 private and 1 administrative buildings were damaged. Bakhmutske, Paraskoviivka, Rozdolivka and Vasiukivka were shelled.
In Lysychansk direction: 2 buildings were damaged in Lyman, shelling of Torske and Zarichne continues. Siversk was under artillery shelling and air strikes. Dronivka and Serebrianka were also targeted.
Mariupol Mayor, Vadym Boichenko, reported that the invaders are using martial law to take out the s equipment and metal products from enterprises, force locals to work without pay and mobilize.
In Maiaky, russians destroyed an enterprise producing half a million chicken eggs a day before the full-scale invasion. Over 800K chickens were killed there. Eggs of this enterprise were sold in Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk and Kharkiv oblasts under Feniks trademark.
Luhansk oblast
Aviation of the Ukrainian Defense Forces launched 32 strikes. 23 concentration areas of weapons and military equipment, 3 platoon strongholds and 6 air defense positions were hit. Ukrainian air defense soldiers shot down an Iskander-K missile and 2 Orlan-10 UAVs.
Rocket and artillery forces hit 6 buildups of weapons and military equipment, 3 ammunition depots, 2 air defense warfares and 9 other important enemy military targets.

Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Haidai, reported that the invaders continue to blow up bridges to slow down the advance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Russians blew up a bridge across the Krasna river near Krasnorichenske. Also, yesterday they blew up a bridge near Kreminna. He noted that russian command set a task to stop the advance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but the weather is improving and will not create so many difficulties for Ukrainian troops.
Serhii Haidai added that russian troops regularly send squads to de-occupied Bilohorivka, but their attacks are unsuccessful. Heavy hostilities also continue in Svatove direction.
Head of Sievierodonetsk City Military-Civil Administration, Oleksandr Striuk, informed that the invaders are preparing for defense. According to him, something like a camp or a training ground for mobilized people was organized. The russian contingent is increasing. There are preparations for defense. The enemy is also mining the area around the city and building defensive structures.

Kyiv oblast
Due to the lack of street lighting and non-functioning traffic lights as a result of the power outage in the territory of Kyiv oblast, police foot patrols resumed their work. As reported by the police of Kyiv oblast, this decision was made for the citizens’ safety. Street patrolling will be carried out in all districts of the oblast until the energy situation improves.
Kyiv oblast is preparing for unexpected winter emergencies. According to Bucha mayor Anatoly Fedoruk, the city has already purchased 50 tons of diesel and 50 tons of gasoline. The city also received a modular gas station from partners to refuel generators and operate in conditions of power outages.
Based on the memorandum signed between Kyiv City Maternity Hospital #2 and the Andreev Family Foundation, women of Kyiv oblast who survived the occupation will get mental health support for free.

RMA reported that 483 kindergartens in the capital operate as usual. This is approximately 60% of the total number of institutions. There are 375 communal kindergartens and 108 private educational institutions.
The NGO “Ukrainian Women’s Guard” (UWG) conducts tactical medicine classes for civilians in Kyiv. They had about five hours of theory and practice with the instructor with a professional military medic who studied tactical medicine in Ukraine and the USA. “The Train to Victory” will run from Kyiv to Chisinau. Its carriages are painted by Ukrainian artists. According to the Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development of Moldova Andrii Spinu, the rail networks between two capitals will be connected for the first time in the last 20 years.

Zhytomyr oblast
Based on the decision of the Defense Council in Zhytomyr oblast, enterprises and organizations were recommended to optimize their work schedule to save electricity in Zhytomyr oblast. Possible transition of industrial enterprises to work night shifts, postponing the start of work of trade and educational institutions, replacing hot meals in schools with dry breakfasts, as well as strict observance of restrictions on the use of street lighting and advertising lighting are considered.
A successful enterprise from Kharkiv, specializing in the manufacture of sanitary ware, is relocating to Zhytomyr oblast. The owner of “Spiko Group” LLC plans to return to Kharkiv later, but opens a branch in Novohrad-Volynskyi and will move 15 of his employees to the city. Full production is planned to be launched in 3-4 months.

Head of Sumy RMA, Dmytro Zhivytskyi announced that the russian army shelled the border of Sumy oblast 7 times. 5 communities were attacked, Bilopillia, Seredino-Buda, Esman, Krasnopillia and Myropillia. A total of 38 explosions were recorded. The enemy used artillery, mortars and explosives from a quadcopter. Fortunately there were no victims and destruction.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Sumy oblast reported that emergency services destroyed 37 explosive objects and 7 more were discovered for further disposal. Among explosives that were eliminated by pyrotechnicians are artillery shells, a mortar mine and a smoke grenade. Dangerous objects were found in Konotop and Okhtyrka districts.
A volunteer project has been launched by vets in Sumy oblast. On the basis of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, students are carrying out charity operations to sterilize cats and vaccinate against rabies. The project, which “4 Paws Ukraine” LLC will initiate across the country, will last for two months and involves 100 volunteer operations. Its purpose is to reduce the number of homeless animals and prevent rabies. First of all, aid will be provided to those who need it the most: the rural population, the poor, military families, etc. The volunteers will not forget about the animals from the checkpoints and administration building.

Okhtyrka City Council reported that 3 powerful solid fuel boilers were installed in the Okhtyrka Central District Hospital. They will operate on residues from wood processing and agricultural waste. This innovation allows not only to abandon natural gas, but also to save on heating.

“Chernihivoblenergo” reported that emergency power outages are planned in Chernihiv oblast on October 31. The exact schedule is currently unknown, but power cuts will not exceed 4 hours.
The wedding of two servicemen of the “North” operational command took place in Chernihiv. Viktor is an officer specializing in armored weapons, Tetiana is a military combat medic. At the wedding ceremony, instead of wedding clothes, young people wore embroidered dresses.

Dnipropetrovsk oblast
Head of the regional council, Mykola Lukashuk reported that the night in Nikopol was restless due to heavy artillery shelling. Two fires broke out. The occupiers targeted the enterprise. An administrative building and several pieces of equipment were damaged. Dozens of residential buildings, farm buildings, a garage, five-story building, and a gas pipeline of the private sector were also damaged.
An injured woman aged 73, damaged company buildings, damaged houses are the consequences of MRLS shelling of Marhanets community attacked twice in the morning. Zaporizhzhia oblast
The situation towards Zaporizhzhia has not significantly changed over the past day. The enemy concentrates its main efforts on holding the occupied borders.
In Zaporizhzhya oblast, the occupiers shelled civil infrastructure in the settlements of Zaporizhzhia, Komyshuvakha, Stepove, Mala Tokmachka, Shcherbaky, Temyrivka, Preobrazhenka, Zaporizke, Malynivka, Omelnyk, Chervone, Zaliznychne, Orikhiv, Huliaipole, Zhovtenke, Mali Shcherbaky, Dorozhnianka, Olhivske, Novonadriivka, Poltavka, Novodanylivka, Charivne, Novoivanivka.
The police recorded 43 reports of destruction of houses (apartments) and infrastructure facilities as a result of shelling by russian military personnel.
The occupiers again shelled the Enerhodar industrial zone. As a result, most of the city has been left without power supply. This was announced by the mayor of Enerhodar Dmytro Orlov. According to preliminary information, russian troops hit one of the city’s substations.

Mykolaiv oblast
According to the “South” Operational Command, Mykolaiv oblast was attacked twice with russian rockets at night. The enemy attacked Bereznehuvate community with S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems. Open areas were hit.
The enemy fired Kh-59 cruise missiles at Ochakiv. Administrative and economic buildings, private garages, industrial infrastructure objects were destroyed and damaged, residential buildings were damaged. As a result of the attack, 2 fires broke out. There were no human losses.

Odesa oblast

Kherson oblast
The situation in the South Buh operational area remains steadily tense, but under control. The enemy is trying to hold the occupied lines, but at the same time reformats units, sets up new lines of defense, including on the left bank of the Dnipro.
The enemy shelled the settlements of Novoaleksandrivska community, Beryslav district, using heavy artillery and MLRS. As a result of the shelling, 3 civilians were injured, and private residences were damaged.

Ternopil oblast
Employees of educational institutions of Ternopil oblast will receive 1 182 laptops for full-time work in wartime conditions with the support of Google and UNESCO.

Khmelnytskyi oblast
In Khmelnytskyi, the works of russian and belarusian writers were removed from the school program of foreign literature. Changes have been introduced in the school curriculum on foreign literature, history of Ukraine, basics of health and protection of Ukraine this year.
Residents of the Shepetiv district, Oleksandr Volodymyrovych Zamorskyi, Yevhen Strutynskyi and a military surgeon, lieutenant of the medical service Denys Hayduk, returned home during another exchange of prisoners.
Chernivtsi oblast
The city council of Chernivtsi reported that since the war began, the city allocated over UAH 50 million in aid to support the military.

Italy transferred 20 to 30 M109L self-propelled guns to Ukraine as part of the fifth package of military aid. Ukraine received dozens of M113 BMPs, six PzH 2000 howitzers and two tracked MLRS salvo fire systems.

Four Ukrainian soldiers who were wounded and underwent a rehabilitation course will join the 47th US Marine Corps Marathon (MCM – 2022).
