It has been the 592nd day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression. 

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 6 pm:   

There were 33 combat engagements. The enemy launched 6 air strikes and 20 MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and various settlements. The russian terrorist attacks have killed and wounded civilians.

The operational situation in east and south of Ukraine remains complicated.

Towards Volyn and Polissia, there were no significant changes and no signs of formation of an offensive group. Certain units of the armed forces of belarus continue their missions in the areas bordering Ukraine.

Towards Siversk and Sloboda, the enemy maintains its military presence in the areas of russia bordering Ukraine. They continue to shell Ukrainian settlements from the territory of russia and increase the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine. The enemy launched an airstrike in the vicinity of the settlement of Hrabovske, Sumy oblast. The invaders fired artillery and mortars at around 10 settlements, including Senkivka, Chernihiv oblast, Kozacha Lopan, Vovchansk, and Okhrimivka, Kharkiv oblast. 

Towards Kupiansk, the Ukrainian defenders repelled 3 enemy attacks near Synkivka and Ivanivka, Kharkiv oblast. They fired artillery and mortars at more than 15 settlements, including Kamianka, Dvorichna, Synkivka, and Kyslivka, Kharkiv oblast.

Towards Lyman, the Ukrainian defense forces repelled 4 enemy attacks in the vicinity of Makiivka, Luhansk oblast. The invaders fired artillery and mortars at more than 10 settlements, including Nevske, Bilohorivka, Luhansk oblast, Spirne, and Rozdolivka, Donetsk oblast,

Towards Bakhmut, Ukrainian troops successfully repelled all enemy attacks north of Bohdanivka, Klischiivka, and Andriivka. Over 15 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Klischiivka, Andriivka, and Pivnichne, Donetsk oblast. 

Towards Avdiivka, the Ukrainian defense forces repelled all adversary attacks in the vicinity of Avdiivka, Donetsk oblast. The invaders fired from artillery and mortars at more than 10 settlements, including Keramik, Avdiivka, Opytne, and Sieverne, Donetsk oblast.

Towards Mariinka, the Ukrainian defense forces successfully repelled 13 occupapiets’ attacks in the vicinity of Mariinka and Novomykhailivka, Donetsk oblast. The adversary launched an air strike in the vicinity of Kostiantynivka, Donetsk oblast. About 10x settlements, including Krasnohorivka, Mariinka, Pobieda, and Novomykhailivk, Donetsk oblast, were under artillery fire of the invaders.

Towards Shakhtarsk, about 10 settlements, including Vodyane, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, and Urozhaine, Donetsk oblast)m, came under artillery and mortar fire.

Towards Zaporizhzhia, the occupiers launched air strikes in the vicinity of settlements of Novodanylivka, Robotyne, and Orikhiv, Zaporizhzhia oblast. Over 25 settlements, including Poltavka, Huliaipole, Orikhiv, Robotyne, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, and Mali Scherbaky, Zaporizhzhia oblast, came under artillery and mortar fire.

Towards Kherson, the russian occupiers launched an airstrike near Beryslav. The enemy fired artillery and mortars at Kherson and Stanislav, Kherson oblast.

At the same time, the Ukrainian defense forces continue their offensive operations towards Melitopol and Bakhmut, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, exhausting the enemy all along the front line. 

Ukrainian Air Forces launched 3 air strikes on the buildups of troops, weapons and military equipment of the invaders.

The Ukrainian Missile troops hit 3 artillery systems and 2 ammunition depots of the enemy.


The bodies of 48 people who died as a result of the russian strike on the village of Hroza, Kupiansk region were identified. “The russian missile tore people to shreds so that forensic scientists and investigators have dozens of such fragments – they work carefully with each one, collecting the dead literally piece by piece,” head of the local State Police Department, Serhiy Bolvinov, noted.

According to the spokesman of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yurii Ihnat, Only last month, russia used over 500 UAVs against Ukraine. “For 6 months of the last heating season, over 1,000 “martyrs” were used against Ukraine, and we already have half a thousand in just one month,” he noted.

Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

Illia Yevlash, Head of the press service of the Eastern Group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, informed that another 10 russian tanks, mostly T-72s and several T-80s, were burned in this area of the frontline. Five armoured combat vehicles, three Msta-S and two D-30 cannons, one Rapira anti-tank cannon and two enemy vehicles were also destroyed. Yesterday, 245 invaders were eliminated. The enemy also used Su-25 and Su-35 aircrafts and Ka-52 helicopters 16 times. The invaders opened fire from artillery 546 times. There were 19 combat engagements: 13 in Kupiansk and 6 in Lyman.

Kharkiv oblast

The General Staff said that towards Kupiansk, russians continue to try to advance. Ukrainian troops repelled three russian attacks near Synkivka and Ivanivka. At least seven settlements in Kharkiv oblast came under artillery and mortar shelling. The RMA reported the death of a 65-year-old woman as a result of russian shelling of Vovchansk.

Mayor Ihor Terekhov said that as a sign of support and solidarity with the Israeli people, the city’s digital screens displayed the flag.

Yesterday, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled 10 attacks of the invaders in Synkivka and Ivanivka and inflicted significant losses to the enemy.

Oleh Syniehubov, Head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported that towards Kupiansk, russians keep trying to advance. Yesterday our defenders repelled 10 enemy attacks near Synkivka and Ivanivka and inflicted significant losses to them.

Yesterday russian invaders targeted settlements of Kharkiv, Bohodukhiv, Chuhuiv, Kupiansk and Izium regions with artillery, mortars and aircraft.

As a result of a guided bomb attack on Cherneshchyna village, Izium region, buildings and property of an agricultural enterprise were damaged.

A private building was damaged by mortar shelling in Kindrashivka village, Kupiansk region.

As a result of a missile attack on Peresichne village, Kharkiv region, the roofs, facades and windows of 5 apartment residential buildings were damaged and a fire started. Four cars were damaged. Due to the strong stress reaction, a 66-year-old man and a 64-year-old woman needed medical assistance. They were not hospitalised.

Petropavlivka, Kyslivka, Kotliarivka of Kupiansk region, Vovchansk and Pletenivka of Chuhuiv region were also under enemy attack.

During the day, pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service defused 63 explosive ordnance.

Ministry of Internal Affairs said that police identified 48 bodies in Hroza village, Kupiansk region, where 51 people, including an 8-year-old boy, were killed by an Iskander strike. Currently, 7 people are missing. Forensic medical and DNA examinations are ongoing to identify the victims.  Some of the found bodies were severely mutilated, they were taken out in parts. Out of all the people in the room, 6 survived. The patients in the hospital have numerous mine-blast injuries and lacerations of the upper and lower limbs. One of the women is in extremely critical condition, she is connected to a mechanical ventilation. Only a few walls remained of the building.

At least UAH 200 million is needed to rebuild schools in Izium. According to Mayor Valerii Marchenko, 11 educational institutions in the city were damaged by shelling, of which four schools will be restored. Currently, one of the lyceums in de-occupied Izium is being repaired, with funding from the European Union. In addition to the shelling, educational institutions have also suffered from the occupation, for instance, when russian troops were deployed in lyceum No. 11. The school’s director said that they cut batteries and pipes, removed doors to use them in the trenches and covered the basement with linoleum torn from classrooms, where they took beds stolen from a neighbouring kindergarten.

Donetsk oblast

According to Donetsk Regional Military Administration, four civilians, including a 9-year-old girl, were injured as a result of a morning missile attack on Kostiantynivka. The attack damaged 19 private buildings, 10 apartment buildings, a boiler house, a gas pipeline, a power line and a car.

Donetsk police informed that they documented 5 enemy attacks over the day. Four settlements were under attack: Avdiivka city, Niu-York settlement, Bilokuzmynivka and Dronivka villages.  12 residential buildings were damaged. The Russian army hit a private house in Dronivka with artillery, killing a civilian. The invaders dropped a FAB-250 bomb on Niu-York, damaging 4 buildings. Bilokuzmynivka was shelled with Grad MRLs, destroying 7 private buildings.

DTEK said that power engineers restored electricity supply to 33 settlements in Donetsk oblast. More than 11K families have electricity again.

Referring to Lyman City Military Administration, the outpatient clinic in Rubtseve district, Lyman community, was repaired.

Valentyn Rybin, a resident of Donetsk oblast, makes wells with his own hands. He lives in Druzhkivka and decided to set up a public well because the water supply in the town works intermittently due to shelling.

Luhansk oblast

According to Luhansk Regional Military Administration, two KAB-500 bombs were dropped on Nevske and Novoliubivka. The villages were also shelled eight times from multiple rocket launchers. Bilohorivka also suffered from enemy shelling. There was another destruction in Nevske, two buildings destroyed by russian artillery on 4 October. Active hostilities are ongoing in Makiivka and the Defence Forces of Ukraine repelled six more enemy attacks.

The invaders continue to set up military hospitals in houses with civilians. Specifically, in Lysychansk, such a hospital was set up in an apartment building where civilians currently live.

Residents hoped that the closure of the cities for entry and exit would end with the results of the so-called “first elections” and the distribution of positions in the occupation authorities. However, in Rubizhne, the decision was different as they continued the crossing regime until the end of the year. All necessary permits must be re-issued by the local occupation administration or have local registration. Even carriers will not be allowed to cross without prolonged documents.

Larysa Fesenko, a lyceum teacher from Lisna Stinka of Kupiansk region, who was taken prisoner during the occupation, and Victoriia Dushyna, a kindergarten teacher in Kharkiv, won the Global Teacher Prize 2023 Award. Each of them received a grant of UAH 1 million.

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

The head of Kyiv RMA Ruslan Kravchenko reported that as part of the eRestoration in the oblast, decisions have already been made on 4,400 applications for a total amount of UAH 377 million. The first applications began to be accepted in the spring of this year. Owners of damaged housing can spend the received funds on current and capital repairs.

In the oblast, 14 positive decisions have already been made regarding compensation for destroyed housing in the amount of over UAH 52 million. The information is in the housing certificate in Diya – from November it will be possible to use it to buy a new home.

Irpin mayor Oleksandr Markushyn announced that the city will receive 75,000 euros from partners from the European Union as part of the charity project “Strengthening local resilience. Support for emergency repairs in communities”. The funds will be used for the purchase of building materials, tools for repair and the purchase of a dump truck for the needs of the utility company “Irpinvodokanal”.

KCSA reported that 23 buses, which were handed over to the capital by the Slovak government, arrived in Kyiv. Some of them will be released on the routes, and others will serve as a reserve. During the year of russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Kyiv received 76 buses from EU countries.

The collection of the National Museum of the History of Ukraine in the Second World War was replenished with artifacts from the russian-Ukrainian war. A resident of the village of Horenychi deposited the weapons and personal belongings of the russian military, which they left behind when they retreated from the oblast in the spring of last year, for safekeeping. The items found at the positions of russian soldiers probably belonged to the military of the 5th tank brigade, which was the strike force of the russian army in the Kyiv oblast.

Students of Kyiv vocational education institutions help the military with prepared lunches, special clothes and camouflage nets made during training. As reported in the KCSA, only during September, students, together with craftsmen and teachers, handed over 200 kg of pastries for the military, sewed 150 sets of uniforms, and made 20 field stoves.

A shelter in the form of a hobbit house was built on the school grounds in Hostomel. According to the benefactors, the main task was to create a fairy-tale house in order to minimize stress and associations of children with danger. The role of decoration in the Hobbit house is performed by painted walls, which depict decorative structures, beams, a fireplace installation and thematic drawings – all hand-painted by volunteers of the Gurtum Charity Foundation.

Zhytomyr oblast

The Regional Emergency Service reported that 17 forcibly displaced people from the Donetsk oblast arrived by an evacuation train to the Zhytomyr oblast on October 7. Among them are 12 people with disabilities and 1 child who arrived by evacuation train accompanied by his mother. At the meeting point at the station, the evacuees had the opportunity to have a snack and warm themselves with hot beverages, as well as receive psychological assistance and financial assistance from the state. Ten internally displaced persons with disabilities will receive shelter in geriatric boarding houses in Korosten and Zhytomyr.

Zhytomyrteplokomunenergo reported that preparations for the heating season are almost complete in the regional center. All educational and medical institutions of the city are ready for heat supply, work is still ongoing in residential buildings.

In Zhytomyr, volunteers of “Sewing Squadron ” sew clothes for front-line servicemen and adaptive items for wounded soldiers. Dressmaking studio owner Khrystyna Kuvshin and her team joined this volunteer initiative after the full-scale russian invasion. Four permanent craftswomen work in the team.

Sumy oblast

Sumy RMA reported that during the past day, the russians carried out 10 shelling of the border. A total of 54 hits were recorded: 2 hits from artillery, 36 from mortars, 12 from SPG, and aerial bombardment with unguided missles from helicopter – 4 hits. Khotyn, Krasnopillia, Putivl, Velyka Pysarivka, Znob-Novhorodske and Seredina-Buda communities came under shelling.

The National Police of Sumy oblast reported that as a result of the attacks of the russian army on the territory of the oblast on October 7, 9 private houses and three commercial buildings were damaged.

The rescuers of Sumy oblast reported that on October 7 they extinguished a fire in one of the settlements of Shostka region. The fire engulfed a private residential building, a summer kitchen, utility buildings, a garage, and a neighbor’s house and utility building.

In the Sumy Park of Culture and Recreation named after Kozhedub, an Alley of memory of fallen Ukrainian heroes was planted and a memorial plaque was opened in honor of the defenders of the Sumy oblast. 16 Serbian fir trees, purchased with the funds of benefactors, were planted in the park as part of the “Greening of the Planet” project. The Christmas tree alley was laid by townspeople, soldiers, students and volunteers.

Chernihiv oblast

The State Security Service reported that during the past day, the russians shelled the border of Chernihiv oblast twice from their territory. A total of 31 explosions were recorded: 2 mortar hits in the direction of Mykhalchyna Sloboda (Novhorod-Siverskyi hromada) and 29 strikes from the AGS in the direction of n.p. Senkivka (Horodnya community).

Chernihiv RMA reported that in October, there was a redistribution of subventions from the state budget with money from the European Investment Bank for the reconstruction of Chernihiv oblast under two programs.

According to the first program, the subvention was increased to UAH 114 million, which included: a medical clinic and a kindergarten in the Nova Basan community, a school in the village of Dorohynka in the Ichnyan community, a school in Borzna, reconstruction of the building for the accommodation of the National Medical Center in the Nova Basan community, major renovation of the Koropy school, construction of sewage treatment facilities in Bobrovytsa, overhaul of the educational complex in Talalaivska hromada.

According to the second program, UAH 110 million in subventions from the European Investment Bank were directed to the budget of the Chernihiv oblast. With these funds, they plan to implement 40 projects that have previously been selected by the relevant ministry. The selected projects relate to the construction and reconstruction of shelters, the restoration of educational and health care institutions, the repair of administrative buildings, and the development of project and estimate documentation.

Stas Moskalchuk from Chernihiv runs every day in any weather to raise money for a vehicle for the 1st tank brigade. For 90 days of running, he collected 101 thousand hryvnias. In this way, he wants to support Ukrainian defenders who are currently fighting at the front. The man posts videos of his runs on social networks, where he reports on the money collected.

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

A photo exhibition was presented in Dnipro, featuring photographs of volunteers at work. It consists of 10 metal moving structures. There are almost 30 photos on them.

A university hospital will be created in Dnipropetrovsk oblast. It will train students and future specialists who will work on the territory of the de-occupied Crimea in the future. 

Vinnytsia oblast

Vinnytsia craftsmen produced a multiple rocket launcher for a new armoured Humvee. This is the fortieth installation. Previously, they were made on pick-up trucks and even on trophy russian loaves. This is the first time they have ever been installed on a military vehicle.

Poltava oblast

A sports and recreation charity event was held in Poltava in memory of soldier Yevhen Brakh, call sign Mali. Participants were able to donate to the needs of Andrii Bezmertnyi’s unit, where Mali served.

Cherkasy oblast

The Cossack Fairway youth organisations’ meeting is ongoing in Cherkasy. The participants compete, get to know each other and study Ukraine as a naval state.

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast

On October 7, the Russian army attacked 21 localities in Zaporizhzhia region 133 times. The shelling took place in Bilenke, Malynivka, Bilohirya, Levadne, Preobrazhenka, Poltavka, Kamianske, Stepove, Pyatikhatky, Lobkove, Plavni and other frontline towns and villages. As a result of the shelling of Bilenke, 2 people were killed and 2 were injured.

Mykolaiv oblast

Vitaliy Kim, Head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, said that on  October 7, russian troops launched missile strikes outside the settlements of the Vesnianska community in Mykolaiv region. Also in Mykolaiv oblast, air defence forces destroyed a Russian Orlan-10 reconnaissance UAV. 

On the penultimate day of the HOMO LUDENS XII+I festival, on October 7, only one live performance was held at the Mykolaiv Academic Artistic Drama Theatre. The Khmelnytsky Regional Academic Music and Drama Theatre presented the performance “Mariupol #Hope_for_Dawn” on the “stage in the shelter”. It should be noted that for the fourth day in a row, the theatre has been selling out on the sheltered stage.

On  October 7, Mykolaiv hosted an exhibition and adoption event for stray animals. The event featured 75 cats and dogs rescued from different regions of Ukraine. A total of 40 of them found new owners. The animal adoption event was organised by Anna Kurkurina’s Charity Organisation and the Pride Rehabilitation Centre.

Odesa oblast

Southern Ukrainian Defence Forces reported that during the day, the russian army sent tactical aviation to the south of Odesa region, launching three guided aerial bombs. The enemy traditionally creates tension around sea transport routes in the area of Zmeinyi Island. There are currently ten russian ships in the Black Sea. The russian army has put one submarine missile carrier on combat duty, which is equipped with up to four Kalibr missiles. 

Another ambulance was delivered to Ukraine from Hungarian partners, which is planned to be transferred to Odesa oblast. The ambulance was donated at the initiative of the Hungarian-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The Hungarian TRP Hungary LLC and the Humanitás Social Fund of OTP Bank provided all the necessary equipment for the ambulance.

On October 8, Izmail hosted an autumn exhibition and fair of pets and birds: dozens of varieties of rabbits, pigeons, nutria, quails, pheasants, parrots, as well as rare breeds of roosters, chickens and geese. The event took place in Chkalovsky Square, near the Komyshevsky Market. Animal lovers from all over the south of Odesa oblast came to take part in the event: Izmail, Bolgrad, Reni, Kiliya, Ozerne, Utkonosivka, Tatarbunary. This year, the traditional autumn exhibition was held to raise funds for charity and help the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The organisers will use all the proceeds to buy everything the Ukrainian military needs.

Kherson oblast

The occupiers attacked the village of Kindyka. An 11-year-old girl was wounded. The child is in a coma. Earlier, three elderly women were injured in the shelling of the village. The fire hit the area near the church. 

A suburb of Kherson was shelled by  the russian army hitting the area near the church.  Houses and a car were damaged. Three people were injured. A dog died as a result of the attack.

According to Oleksandr Tolokonnikov, Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Press Officem in the morning on October 7, the russian army dropped two aerial bombs on Beryslav, Kherson oblast. A local resident was injured and hospitalised.

Around 1 am, on October 8, russian military shelled Kherson with artillery. Eleven people were injured, including a nine-month-old child and a Red Cross medic. Houses, cars, and gas distribution networks were damaged.

On October 7, the Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated 31 russian occuparies towards  Kherson. They destroyed two tanks, four cannons, an electronic warfare station, four vehicles and seven boats of the russian army.

Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of Kherson Regional Military Administration, reported that  on October 7, the russian army fired 59 times at Kherson oblast. They hit residential areas of the region’s settlements, a transport base in Kherson district and a company in Beryslavske. Three people were injured. 

Latest news for today in the western regions of Ukraine

Volyn oblast

Artur Novikov’s painting exhibition Native Colors 4.5.0 by the artist from Kramatorsk, Donetsk oblast, was opened in Lutsk. On the initiative of the artist’s mother Nataliia Koretska, the exhibition will travel across Ukraine from November 2022. There are 73 works in the exposition: paintings, photos from the front, a flag with an author’s drawing by an artist who is currently defending the eastern borders of the country in the ranks of the Armed Forces.

Zakarpattia oblast

In Uzhgorod, the Owl’s Nest Humanitarian Aid Center recently issued 50 packages of essential items for children under 2 years old, 100 grocery sets, clothes, bed linen, and dishes to displaced persons (a total of 1,5K items were issued) thanks to PDUM Partnerschaft Deutschland-Ukraine/Moldova e. V., Luftfahrt ohne Grenzen / Wings of Help e.V.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

Memorial plaques to the fallen soldiers Pavlo Brykin and Viacheslav Tushny were opened on the facade of Lyceum #3 in Ivano-Frankivsk.

Lviv oblast

The RMA reported that Brodivsk community collected over UAH 100K for the purchase of a drone for 80 separate airborne assault brigades of the Armed Forces.

The RMA reported that UAH 35K were collected for the defenders during the Together to Victory charity fair  in Kamianka-Buzka Preschool Education #4.

Two defenders from the 24th separate mechanized brigade named after King Danylo were posthumously awarded with the title of Colonel Ihor Lyashenko and Major Stepan Vorobets. Both defenders were killed on June 19, 2014, when they were ambushed by the enemy in Donetsk oblast.

Defenders of Ukraine climbed to the highest peak of the national nature park Skolivski Beskydy – Mount Parashka (1 268 meters). Previously, war veterans visited Pikuy and Klyuch mountains. This is already the 3rd ascent, in which over 10 veterans took part, including those after serious injuries.

A memorial complex was built in the central park of Mykolaiv in honor of the defenders of Ukraine. They installed 39 stands with photos and information about soldiers from Mykolaiv community who gave their lives for Ukraine since the full-scale invasion of russia against Ukraine. There is also a stand about servicemen from the former Mykolaiv district who died during the anti-terrorist operation and a stand about prisoners of war and missing local residents.

An Alley of the Invincible named after Roman Sunak was opened in Strii. After the start of the full-scale invasion, our compatriot joined the Karpatska Sich volunteer battalion. He was killed on August 25, 2022 near Virnopil in Kharkiv oblast.

Rivne oblast

The 104th territorial defense brigade from Rivne received legendary American SUVs. The HMMWV (Humve) – an American army off-road vehicle with increased cross-country ability.

An adaptation center was launched in Rivne oblast. Children and adults with disabilities, as well as those who suffered during the war, will be able to attend rehabilitation classes here.

Ternopil oblast

Ternopil City Council reported that medics of the city communal dental polyclinic have already provided assistance to over 80 defenders at the front.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

Oleksandr Simchyshyn, mayor of Khmelnytskyi, reported that 4 Dji Mavic 3 and Dji Mavic 3 Fly Combo quadcopters were sent to the front for the military from the city.

Chernivtsi oblast

In Koroviyskyi Lyceum, a commemorative plaque was opened to Hrindei Vasyl, soldier of the 10th separate mountain assault brigade Edelveis, graduate of the educational institution who was killed defending the statehood and integrity of Ukraine. 

International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)

The Swedish government has adopted additional changes to the budget, which provide for the proposal of a new support package for Ukraine. This is the 14nth support package and will include artillery ammunition, spare parts, infantry equipment, communications equipment and ammunition for the Stridsfordon 90 worth approximately SEK 1,7 billion.

The 1st round of negotiations with Japan on a bilateral agreement on security guarantees, as provided for in the Joint Declaration on Support for Ukraine, has begun. The Ukrainian negotiating team was headed by Ihor Zhovkva, deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.

Oleksii Dniprov, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, met with representatives of the boxing community of Ukraine and one of the most prestigious boxing organizations in the world – the World Boxing Council. They discussed helping Ukraine to rebuild sports facilities destroyed by the aggressor.

The Ministry of Defense of Great Britain said that on this part of the front, the fighting is calmer, if compared with June – July 2023. The Armed Forces reported success near Kopany and Novoprokopivka, as well as east of Andriivka.

The Royal Agrarian University (Great Britain) and Sumy National Agrarian University (Ukraine) are carrying out a joint project called Assessment of damage to agricultural lands and ecosystems of North-Eastern Ukraine caused by the russian invasion. The project aims to develop recommendations for the selection of soil samples and assessment of the damage caused by conducting soil analyzes for the content of heavy metals.

For the first time in 18 years, Ukrzaliznytsia is launching a railway connection between Lviv and Warsaw. The train will run through the Rava-Rusk checkpoint from October 15, 2023.
