It has been the 588th day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression. 

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 6 pm:   

The enemy continues to violate  the laws and customs of war, uses terror tactics, and attacks both military and civilian targets.

There were 45 combat engagements. The enemy launched a total of 5 missiles and 43 air strikes, 30 MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and various settlements. The russian terrorist attacks have killed and wounded civilians. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed or damaged.

The operational situation in eastern and southern Ukraine remains difficult.

Towards Volyn and Polissia, there were no significant changes and no signs of forming an offensive group. Certain units of the armed forces of belarus continue their missions in the areas bordering Ukraine.

Towards Siversk and Sloboda, the enemy maintains its military presence in the areas of russia bordering Ukraine. The enemy continues to shell Ukrainian settlements from the territory of russia and increases the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine. The enemy fired from artillery and mortars at more than 25 settlements, including Klyusy, Turia, Chernihiv oblast, Sorokyne, Prohres, Stepok, Sumy oblast, Starytsya, Tykhe, Mala Vovcha, Kharkiv oblast. 

Towards Kupiansk, the Ukrainian defenders repelled an enemy attack in the area north of Zybyne, Kharkiv oblast. They launched air strikes in the vicinity of Podoly, Kharkiv oblast and Kuzemivka, Luhansk oblast. Over 15 settlements, including Fyholivka, Novomlynsk, Lyman Pershyi, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, Kharkiv oblast came under artillery and mortar fire.

Towards Lyman, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 5 enemy attacks in the area east of Makiyivka, Luhansk oblast and northwest of Dibrovy, Donetsk oblast. The settlements of Novoselivske, Bilohorivka, Luhansk oblast, Siversk, Spirne, Donetsk oblast suffered enemy air strikes. The invaders fired from artillery and mortars at over 15 settlements, including Makiyivka, Nevske, Bilohorivka, Luhansk oblast, Torske, Siversk, Verkhniokamyanske, Fedorivka, Spirne, Rozdolivka, Donetsk oblast.

Towards Bakhmut, the enemy made unsuccessful attempts to regain the lost ground in the vicinities of Hryhorivka and Andriivka, Donetsk oblast. The invaders launched air strikes near Khromove, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Klischiivka, Toretsk and Oleksandro-Shultyne, Donetsk oblast. Over 20 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Minkivka, Bohdanivka, Klischiivka, Andriivka, Kurdyumivka, New York, Donetsk oblast. 

Towards Avdiivka, the Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled all enemy attacks near Avdiivka and Lastochkyne, Donetsk oblast. The enemy launched an air strike near Avdiivka. The invaders fired artillery and mortars at over 10 settlements, including Keramik, Stepove, Avdiyivka, Karlivka, Nevelske, Pervomaiske, Donetsk oblast.

Towards Mariinka, the Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully repelled 8 enemy attacks in the vicinity of Mariinka and 6 enemy attacks in the vicinity of Krasnohorivka and Novomykhailivka, Donetsk oblast. The enemy launched air strikes near Novomykhailivka and Maroinka, Donetsk oblast. About 10 settlements, including Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Pobjeda, Novomykhailivka, Yelyzavetivka, Donetsk oblast were under the occupiers’ mortar and artillery fire.

Towards Shakhtarsk, the Ukrainian defenders repelled an enemy attack in the vicinity of the settlement of Zolota Nyva, Donetsk oblast. The russian occupiers launched air strikes in the vicinities of Zolota Nyva, Urozhaine, Staromaiorske, Donetsk oblast. Over 10 settlements, including Vodyane, Vuhledar, Maksymivka, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, Blahodatne, Urozhaine, Donetsk oblast, came under the artillery and mortar fire.

Towards Zaporizhzhia, the Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully repelled enemy attacks near Verbove and Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia oblast. The invaders launched airstrikes near Mala Tokmachka and Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia oblast. Over 25 settlements, including Novoandriyivka, Mali Shcherbaky, Robotyne, Stepove, Kamyanske, Plavni, Zaporizhzhia oblast. came under the enemy artillery and mortar fire.

Towards Kherson, the enemy launched air strikes in the vicinities of Kozatske, Mykolaivka and Olhivka, Kherson oblast. The enemy fired artillery and mortars at more than 10 settlements, including Ponyativka, Mykilske, Kherson oblast and the city of Kherson.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue their offensive operation towards Melitopol and offensive operations towards Bakhmut, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, exhausting the enemy all along the front line.

The Ukrainian Air Forces launched 13 air strikes on the buildup of troops, weapons and military equipment of the invaders.

The Ukrainian missile troops hit 1 command post, 3 buildup of troops, weapons and military equipment, 10 artillery systems and 1 ammunition depot of the russian occupiers.


The electronic register of military conscripts is already functioning and being constantly updated with information which meets all safety requirements.  

Ukraine has come up with a plan in case of long-term power outages which is based on last year’s experience. The increased patrolling by police groups, provision of medical facilities and critical infrastructure facilities with generators, operation of points of invincibility are already planned. 

Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

Kharkiv oblast

According to Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, russian federation shelled Vovchansk around 1 pm, damaging a building of the driving school and putting on fire dry grass.

The enemy struck Borova, Izium region, with a pre-guided aerial bomb around midnight. Downtown was hit, a 2-storey residential building, a kindergarten and the building of the employment centre were damaged. An 83-year-old woman sustained light injuries and did not need hospitalisation.

Yesterday russians massively shelled settlements of Kharkiv, Bohodukhiv, Chuhuiv, Kupiansk and Izium regions.

5 private buildings were damaged in Kozacha Lopan village, Kharkiv region. A school building was damaged in Huriv Kozachok, Bohodukhiv region.

In Ivashky, Bohodukhiv region, the building of an incubator and a distillery were damaged. 7 private buildings were damaged as a result of shelling with MRLs in Odnorobivka village, Bohodukhiv region.

Nina Zahrebelna, Starosta of Ivanopillia, Izium region, reported that a 61-year-old driver was killed as a result of a car explosion near Virnopillia on 2 October at around 5 pm. The man went to cultivate the land but tripped over an anti-tank mine. 

A new round-the-clock evacuation hotline was launched in Kharkiv oblast at the Coordination Humanitarian Centre.

In Ruska Lozova, people are searching for surviving bricks and materials for reconstruction in the ruins of houses. Anna Prokaieva, Manager of the pilot Circular Construction Programme, informed that the project is operating there.  Ruska Lozova, located 5 kilometres from Kharkiv, was occupied by russian troops in the first days of the full-scale war. Now they are examining buildings damaged by shelling that cannot be restored.

Donetsk oblast

According to the press service of Donetsk police, the enemy attacked 13 times the residential sector yesterday. Nine settlements were under attacks: Avdiivka, Kostiantynivka, Kurakhove cities, Ocheretyne settlement, Vyshneve, Yelyzavetivka, Illinivka, Shakhtarske and Yasna Poliana villages. Also russians injured 7 civilians: 3 in Illinivka and Vyshneve, 1 in Avdiivka. 52 civilian objects were damaged, including 26 residential buildings, a shop, a workshop, an outbuilding, vehicles, garages and power lines.

According to Donetsk RMA, towards Volnovakha, russians shelled Velyka Novosilka community with Uragan MRLs and artillery, damaging 11 buildings in Shakhtarske and power lines in Yasna Poliana.

Towards Donetsk, a S-300 missile injured 3 people in Vyshneve of Selydove community, damaging warehouses and private cars. Kurakhove community eas attacked 5 times. As a result, 5 buildings in Berestky and 1 in Hostre were damaged, there were no destructions in Konstiantynopolske, Hanivka and Veselyi Hai.

Towards Horlivka, russians dropped a guided bomb on Illinivsk community, injuring 3 civilians and damaging 6 apartment buildings, a private building, a shop and an outbuilding.

Towards Lysychansk, a building was damaged in Siversk and Lyman was targeted 26 times, with no casualties.

A man was injured in Avdiivka as a result of a tank shelling.

The press service of Donetsk police said that they distributed more than 600 loaves of bread to Avdiivka residents, some of which were donated to the hospital.

Pokrovsk City Military Administration informed about opened haemodialysis department. 12 residents receive a so-called artificial kidney.

Luhansk oblast

According to Luhansk Regional Military Administration, russian invaders are testing the defences for weaknesses by turns, currently their attempts are focused on Makiivka. All attacks were repelled by the Defence Forces. There were about 30 explosions on the outskirts of Nevske as a result of artillery shelling. Four KAB-500 aerial bombs exploded in downtown. Makiivka and Bilohorivka also suffered from artillery and mortar shelling. Novoselivske suffered an air strike.

Yesterday the President visited the positions of Ukrainian troops in the eastern sector. During the conversation with the commanders, Volodymyr Zelenskyi gathered information on the priority needs of the units, among which the military most often mentioned frontline air defence, electronic warfare systems and certain types of ammunition.

Between 1 October and 31 December, russians plan to mobilise another 130K people into russian forces. They are going to mobilise most of them in the occupied territories of Luhansk and Donetsk oblasts, and also the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. They have all the necessary data to do so.

As a result of a grassroots fire on the territory of Shchastia forestry and hunting enterprise, more than 27,700 consumers lost power. Now they are without centralised heating, which has not been restored, and without the ability to use a heater.

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

The First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska announced that Kyiv Regional Children’s Hospital started a partnership with the largest children’s hospital in Denmark – Mary Elizabeth’s Hospital – Rigshospitalet for Children, Teens and Expecting Families. Now medical institutions will be able to collaborate and exchange experience directly. According to her, this hospital is one of the 25 Ukrainian medical institutions that started a medical partnership with foreign hospitals under the patronage of the third Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen.

The Medvyn dispensary of general practice of family medicine became a participant in the “Telemedical assistance” project. Thanks to the Government of France, the public organization “National Federation of Civil Defense” and the company “Servier Ukraine”, the medical center received two sets of telemedicine equipment and two vehicles with medical equipment. The French Ambassador Gael Vesier and representatives of French partner organizations took part in the presentation of the project.

Kyiv RMA reported that the damaged house in Irpin, where more than 140 families live, began to be restored with the funds of the Fund for the Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression. The building’s roof, facade and balconies, interior spaces were damaged the windows were broken. 

Bucha city council informed that the city got a new sister city – the Slovenian city of Kočevje. Bucha has been closely cooperating with this city for almost two years: Kočevje has been collecting humanitarian aid for Bucha since the first days of the invasion, taking in displaced persons and children for recovery. Slovenian partners also agreed to support the Bucha Tehno Garden project.

Kyiv RMA reported that The oblast congratulated the local sportsmen, who took part and became champions in this year’s competition among veterans and servicemen of the “Invincible Games” in Dusseldorf, Germany. Vitaly Borodavka finished third in the 100-meter race and won 3 awards in non-medal events; Volodymyr Tovkis received 3 gold medals in various competitions.

In the Vernadskyi National Library of Ukraine, a memorial plaque was unveiled to the British journalist Gareth Jones, who was one of the first Western journalists to report on the Holodomor in Ukraine in the 1930s under his own name. Among other publications, his report was published in The Guardian and the New York Post. After that, he was banned from entering the USSR.

Zhytomyr oblast

The counter-intelligence of the Security Service of Ukraine neutralized the agent network of the main directorate of the general staff of the russian federation, which operated in the Kharkiv and Zhytomyr regions. As a result of the special operation, three agents of russian military intelligence were detained, including a citizen of the russian federation. On the instructions of the invaders, their henchmen collected information about the locations and movements of the Defense Forces in the regions, as well as monitored data on russian air attacks on local critical and social infrastructure facilities.

The head of Zhytomyr RMA Vitaliy Bunechko said that the bridge in Malyn, destroyed by the russian troops, was restored with the financial support of Estonia. The guests of honor – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Estonia Margus Tsahkna and his colleagues from the Estonian delegation – came to the solemn opening of the bridge. The construction of the bridge was carried out with the funds of the State Road Fund and co-financing from Estonia (60% by 40%).

The State Emergency Service in Zhytomyr oblast reported that on October 3, pyrotechnicians of the oblast removed and destroyed 36 modern artillery shells. They were found in the river of the Narodychi territorial community of the Korosten region.

The SBGS reported that the other day, the border guards held an informative meeting for the children of the Center for Children’s and Youth Creativity in one of the border settlements of the Zhytomyr oblast. The defenders told and showed the children how to provide first aid, use unmanned aerial vehicles and counter enemy copters, as well as demonstrated weapons, combat equipment and means of individual equipment.

Sumy oblast

Sumy Regional Military Administration reported that the russians launched 2 mortar attacks. 10 explosions were recorded on the territory of border communities: Krasnopillia – 3 shots, Seredina-Buda – 7 shots.

During the past day, the enemy carried out 15 shelling of the border, a total of 79 artillery and mortar strikes were recorded. Mykolayivka, Khotyn, Yunakivka, Krasnopillia, Bilopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Esman, Shalyhine communities were under enemy shelling.

The Ministry of Health reported that a new modular primary care clinic was built instead of the dispensary destroyed by the russian invaders in the village of Khukhra. The setting up of the clinic took place as part of the partnership of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the World Health Organization in order to provide citizens with continuous access to the necessary medical services despite the war.

Chernihiv oblast

During the past day, the russians fired 10 times from their territory on the border of Chernihiv oblast. As reported in the SBGS, a total of 67 hits from barrel artillery, mortars, grenade launchers and unguided missles were recorded. Snovsk, Semenivka and Horodnyanka communities were shelled.

Vyacheslav Chaus, the head of the Chernihiv RMA, said that the oblast is 99% prepared for winter. The preparation of water and heat supply has been completed. Four out of seven heat generating organizations have concluded gas supply agreements.

Chernihiv RMA reported that in 148 schools of the oblast, where shelters have been set up, children have the opportunity to study face-to-face. 29 schools of the Chernihiv oblast, in which more than two thousand students study, do not have such an opportunity so far due to the lack of shelters. Also, due to security considerations, the children of the border zone do not have the opportunity to sit at a desk and study offline.

Chernihiv RMA reported that two countries – France and Latvia – are actively involved in the reconstruction of the oblast, which have supported the region since the first days after the liberation of its territory from the occupiers. At the moment, negotiations regarding assistance in the implementation of large-scale projects are underway with Slovakia and Germany, in particular with the government of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The oblast is counting on UAH 230 million in aid from international partners. 

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

The enemy attacked Marhanets community, Nikopol region, with a kamikaze drone. In Dnipro, a school, a kindergarten, a petrol station and 3 apartment blocks were damaged by missile debris after a night attack. Cars were damaged on the territory of a private enterprise.

At night, the enemy attacked Myrove community, Nikopol region, with artillery. The shelling damaged 2 private buildings, an outbuilding and 2 power lines.

In the afternoon, the invaders attacked Nikopol with a drone and shelled it three times with artillery. A 75-year-old woman was injured as a result of the shelling. She was hospitalised with shrapnel wounds and doctors are providing her with all the necessary assistance. An outbuilding was destroyed, 10 private buildings, 5 outbuildings, a non-operational building, a motorboat, a car and 4 power lines damaged. An infrastructure facility was damaged by a kamikaze drone attack.

The region’s educational institutions received significant technical equipment, more than 1.5 thousand laptops. Humanitarian aid was provided by the First Lady Olena Zelenska Foundation. Computers were given to students in grades 5-11 of lyceums and gymnasiums in the unbreakable Nikopol region, specifically boys and girls from large and low-income families, IDPs, those whose parents are defending the country, those whose homes are damaged or destroyed. Nikopol region suffers from constant enemy shelling. And because of the security situation, school students are forced to study online. The laptops will help them with their distance learning. In total, the region received more than 14K gadgets last school year, all thanks to the support of international partners.

Vinnytsia oblast

The Warriors of Light street exhibition featuring portraits and biographies of fallen heroes and heroines was set up on Vasyl Stus Square in Vinnytsia. The exhibition, which consists of more than two hundred memorial stands, tells the story of the heroic acts of the defenders of Mariupol and Azovstal from the Azov Regiment, the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade, Donbas and Shakhtar battalions. All the stories and photos were collected by the relatives of the fallen soldiers, who united in the Sertse nAZOVni (Heart Outside) NGO. Vinnytsia became the second city after Kyiv to present the exhibition.

Vinnytsia-Nancy: the city’s capabilities in prosthetics and rehabilitation for military and civilians and the perspectives of cooperation with French partners were discussed at a meeting of industry experts from both cities via video conference. Cooperation in the field of prosthetics and orthopedics is one of the key areas of cooperation with Nancy, which was announced during the signing of a Memorandum of Mutual Understanding on establishing sister city relations. Currently, the first official Vinnytsia delegation, headed by Deputy Mayor Halyna Yakubovych, is visiting the French city. The result should be the preparation of a package of documents aimed at developing partnerships, including in the medical field.

Kirovohrad oblast

Defenders from four communities of Kirovohrad oblast were killed in action for Ukraine. This is Andrii Koshulko from Svitlovodsk, born in 1974. On 17 March 2023, the defender went missing while performing a combat mission near Bohdanivka, Donetsk oblast. His family has now confirmed that Andrii was killed. Ihor Hrytsaienko from Chervona Kamianka village, Popelnaste community, born in 1982. He took part in combat operations near Kurdiumivka, Bakhmut region, Donetsk oblast, where he was killed on 30 September 2023 while performing a mission. Serhii Ivanov from Haivoron, born in 1967. He was killed on 30 September. Sergeant Serhii Pokotilov, born in 1989, from Korobchyne, Novomyrhorod community, was killed during a combat mission in Kherson oblast, having received an injury incompatible with life.

Poltava oblast

Two Veteran Development Centres were opened in the region. They will operate at Poltava State Medical University and Poltava National Polytechnic University named after Yurii Kondratiuk. Poltava oblast is the only one in Ukraine to open two such institutions at once. They will focus on different vectors of veteran policy. This includes involvement in psychological and physical rehabilitation, legal assistance and professional adaptation of war veterans and their families. Training of veterans’ assistants will also be an important area. There is everything necessary for effective cooperation: human resources, logistical support from universities, and practical experience.

Cherkasy oblast

Ihor Taburets, Head of Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, reported that IT courses for veterans were opened. Twenty-three veterans started their studies. In the next few months, they will learn the basics of programming. Then, if they wish, they will study advanced courses. In any case, this is a positive and important step towards a new career.

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast

Armed Forces of Ukraine continue their offensive operation towards Melitopol and have achieved partial success in areas west of Robotyne in Zaporizhzhia oblast. This was reported by the General Staff.

Yesterday, the enemy launched 122 strikes on 22 cities and villages in Zaporizhzhia oblast. Occupiers dropped 4 aerial bombs on Orikhiv and Novodarivka, carried out 10 MLRS attacks on Huliaipole, Mala Tokmachka, Poltavka, Novodarivka, and Stepove, as well as 9 UAV attacks on Huliaipole, Levadne, Poltavka, Temyrivka, and Mali Shcherbaky. 99 artillery shelling incidents occurred in the territories of Olhivske, Chervone, Charivne, Bilohiria, Levadne, Preobrazhenka, Robotyne, Stepove, Piatyhatky, Mali Shcherbaky, and other frontline settlements. There have been 22 reports of damage to residential buildings, agricultural structures, and infrastructure facilities, with no casualties reported.

On September 28, russian air defense forces likely shot down one of their own multi-role combat aircraft, Su-35S (FLANKER M), over Tokmak, approximately 20 km behind the current front line. This information comes from the Ministry of Defence of the United Kingdom, citing British intelligence. Commenting on the location of the downed aircraft, British intelligence noted its significance as Tokmak is a well-fortified city often used by russian headquarters overseeing one of the most tense sections of the front line.

Energoatom reported that russian occupiers took reactor unit No. 4 from a “cold shutdown” state to a “hot shutdown” state at the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant. Meanwhile, according to the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency), reactor unit No. 6 is being taken from a “hot” state to a “cold” state. The presence of russian military personnel, weapons, and heavy equipment on the Zaporizhzhia NPP site, as well as the failure to comply with the licensing requirements of the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate, inevitably leads to the degradation of equipment and systems critical to safety. This may not only lead to an increase in equipment failures but also provoke a radiological accident.

Mykolaiv oblast

On the morning of October 3, at 09:33 and 12:55, russian forces carried out artillery strikes on the settlement of Kutsurub community. In addition, on the afternoon of October 3, at 14:55, the enemy shelled the waters of Ochakiv community using artillery. There were no reported casualties. This information was reported by the head of Mykolaiv RMA, Vitalii Kim.

As of October 4, the State Emergency Service pyrotechnic experts continue to work in an intensified mode to restore safety to Mykolaiv oblast as quickly as possible. According to the SES press service, 57 pyrotechnicians from Mykolaiv, as well as from the Kyiv, Lviv, Odesa, and Rivne oblasts, are involved in inspecting and demining all territories, especially those that have been liberated. To date, 53,381 hectares have been inspected, and 5,273 hectares have been cleared of mines. Pyrotechnicians have safely removed and disposed of 19,973 explosive objects, including 57 aerial bombs.

On October 3, a Memorial Alley for the graduates who died on the front lines was inaugurated in one of the high schools in Mykolaiv. Teachers and students worked on its creation, conducting research as well. Representatives from various schools across Ukraine planted viburnum bushes on their respective alleys, with each bush symbolizing a fallen individual.

Odesa oblast

Celebrations for Defender of Ukraine Day were held in Odesa hospitals where wounded soldiers are being treated. Odesa volunteers prepared 120 kilograms of shish kebabs and cauldrons of pilaf. As reported by the permanent volunteer at the Odesa hospital, Andrii Tantsiura, the delicious food was distributed to the hospital wards, and the wounded soldiers were treated to it.

Mayor of Odesa, Gennadii Trukhanov, met with a delegation from the International Fund for the Safeguarding of Cultural Heritage in Conflict Areas (ALIPH). During the meeting, they discussed the ongoing cooperation between Odesa and ALIPH, as well as the prospects for developing various directions for preserving the city’s cultural heritage during russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine.

In September, Ukraine successfully exported 50K tons of agricultural products from Ukrainian Black Sea ports. Ukraine continues to refrain from considering any options for full-scale agro-export cooperation with russia by sea. Instead, Ukraine is working on this issue with the United Nations, Turkey, and other partners. This was announced by the First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, Taras Vysotskyi.

As of October 4, 22 merchant ships have already passed through the temporary corridor in the Black Sea, while three more are currently en route to exit Ukrainian ports. This information was provided by the spokesperson for the Ukrainian Navy, Dmytro Pletenchuk.

Kherson oblast

The occupation forces continue to shell Kherson. As a result of the recent shelling, an educational institution and residential buildings have been damaged.

A 32-year-old man encountered a russian explosive device  in the field in Bruskynske. As a result of its detonation, he sustained severe injuries, including traumatic limb amputation.

Yesterday, the enemy carried out 100 shelling attacks, launching 699 projectiles from mortars, artillery, Grad rockets, tanks, BMP-2 vehicles, aircraft, and drones. The city of Kherson was targeted with 39 projectiles. russian military forces aimed at residential areas in populated areas in the region, an administrative building, an educational institution, a post office, churches, pharmacies, and the territory of an agricultural enterprise in Kherson region. Buildings of an educational institution and a village club in Beryslav region were also hit, as well as the park area and a factory in Kherson. Due to russian aggression, one person was killed, and 16 others have been wounded. The defense forces in the southern region continue to carry out their fire missions. Over the past day, the enemy has suffered losses of 17 occupiers, 1 tank, 1 self-propelled artillery unit “Hyacinth-S,” 2 cannons, 2 units of automotive equipment, and 3 boats. Another field ammunition depot has been destroyed.

Specialists from Dnipropetrovsk oblast work daily on the reconstruction of residential buildings and social infrastructure in Olhyne, Bobrovyi Kut, and Starosillia. Builders have already repaired 31 homes. Several weeks are required for the renovation of each house. Teams of specialists replace windows, doors, repair roofs, and cover walls. Masons and roofers are also working. Currently, more than 40 projects are in progress, and plans for the reconstruction of those buildings that were completely destroyed by russian occupiers are being prepared.

Volyn oblast

Representatives of Lutsk City Council visited the city of Piotrykow Trybunalski (the Republic of Poland) at the invitation of the partners of the Cor Ignis Foundation. During July – August, children of defenders of Ukraine, from families of fallen servicemen, from families of IDPs, with the financial support of Gor Ignis, camped in Suleyov recreation complex. At the international conference, which took place in the city municipality, the results were summed up and further cooperation was agreed upon.

Volyn RMA and the Swedish Aid Center CF agreed with Swedish construction companies on humanitarian aid in the form of windows for Ukraine. In particular, the first truck from Sweden has already left for Kherson.

In the village of Blahodativka, in Kherson oblast, builders have started to make facades of buildings damaged as a result of the russian armed invasion. Currently, there are 9 volunteers working in Blahodativka, but soon more construction workers will arrive here to speed up the rebuilding process. Volyn is restoring Blahodativka as part of the Side by Side presidential initiative.

Zakarpattia oblast

Zakarpattia began training therapy dogs for psychological support of war veterans. After training, the animals will be given to veterans free of charge upon request.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

Representatives of Ivano-Frankivsk City Council visited defenders in Zaporozhzhia direction. They bring drones, weapons for conducting combat operations and other accessories. In addition, the military was awarded with the city mayor’s For Honor and Victory medals, the 2nd degree For Honor and Victory medals, diplomas and wristwatches. Knight of Combat Rank medals of Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Council were also handed over.

Lviv oblast

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, during a working trip to Kharkiv oblast, visited the 103rd and 125th separate brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from Lviv oblast. In particular, the Commander-in-Chief familiarized himself with the work of the 103rd brigade control center, the system of interaction of intelligence units, UAVs, artillery and air defense, and also discussed in detail the current needs of the units, weapons, support and equipment. The head of state thanked the command and personnel of the brigades for the protection of the state, dedicated service and strength of spirit.

A soldier from Khodoriv community, Yurii Hrynkevich, received the Golden Cross honorary badge from Valery Zaluzhnyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Previously, the defender from the village of Borynichi received the For the Defense of Ukraine award of the President of Ukraine, the badge of honor of the Minister of Defense, the For the Defense of Avdiivka award and the For the Destruction of the Pontoon Crossing of the Village of Belohorivka, the For the Defense of Zaporizhzhia award of the commander of the military unit.

Oleksandr Pukhach from Lviv oblast was awarded the 2th and 3th degrees For Courage orders. The awards were presented to the son of the fallen defender. Oleksandr joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 2021. Performed combat missions in the ranks of the 15th separate mountain assault battalion of Zakarpattia Brigade. He was killed on October 15, 2022.

The Psychological Support Center RAZOM with you became a new partner of the Coordination Center at Lviv RMA. Previously, within the scope of cooperation, the Lviv, Yavoriv, ​​Sambir and Strii regions were chosen for work.

A charity concert was held in Morshyn as part of the All-Ukrainian Veterans Forum Circle of Brothers. Almost UAH 70K was collected for the purchase of a Mavic drone for the 80th separate airborne assault brigades of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Rivne oblast

There were 493 air raids in Rivne oblast during the 584 days of the war. There were 14 alarms in September. The longest was on September 19, which lasted almost three hours. The danger was most often reported on September 21 and 26. During these days, the alarm was announced twice. The maximum number of days without alarms is a week. The “mode of silence” lasted from September 7 to September 15.

Ternopil oblast

A charity auction dedicated to the Day of Defenders of Ukraine was held in Ternopil. The collected over UAH 1.5 mln will be donated to the needs of the Armed Forces.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

A delegation of American judges from the state of California visited Khmelnytskyi. They met with representatives of the authorities and local judges. In particular, in the RMA they discussed the issue of the activities of state authorities and local self-government in the conditions of the legal regime of martial law.

Chernivtsi oblast

The RMA reported that as part of the All-Ukrainian information campaign Work for IDPs: you are Needed! during September, specialists of Chernivtsi Regional Employment Service conducted 93 information and consultation events for internally displaced persons.

Chernivtsi City Council purchased four jeeps and two buses with budget funds. Each of the cars has passed technical certification.

International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)

The European Parliament voted for the resolution on the revision of the budget of the European Union for 2021-2027, which provides for the creation of a special Ukrainian fund of EUR 50 billion.
