It has been the 631st day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression. 

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 6 pm:   

The enemy continues to ignore the laws and customs of war, uses terror tactics, launches strikes, and shells both military and civilian targets.

There were 62 combat engagements. The enemy launched a total of 9 missiles and 31 air strikes, 26 MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and various settlements. Moreover, the russian federation launched another air strike on Ukraine, using 18x Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs. Air defense forces destroyed 16 attack UAVs.

The operational situation in east and south of Ukraine remains difficult.

Towards Volyn and Polissia, there were no significant changes and no signs of formation of an offensive group. Certain units of the armed forces of belarus continue their missions in the areas bordering Ukraine.

Towards Siversk and Sloboda, the enemy maintains its military presence in the areas of russia bordering Ukraine. The enemy continues its sabotage and reconnaissance activities, shelling Ukrainian settlements from the territory of russia and increases the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine. Around 20 settlements came under enemy artillery and mortar fire, including Kliusy, Arkhypivka, Chernihiv oblast, Zarichchia, Chuikivka, Bachivsk, Sumy oblast, Veterynarne, Vovchansk, Ohirtseve, Nesterne, Dvorichanske, Kharkiv oblast.

Towards Kupiansk, the enemy conducted failed assault operations in the vicinities of Synkivka and Petropavlivka, Kharkiv oblast. The Ukrainian defenders repelled 4 attacks in the area. The occupiers launched an airstrike near Petropavlivka, Kharkiv oblast. The invaders fired artillery and mortars at over 10 settlements, including Dvorichna, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, Kyslivka, Berestove, Kharkiv oblast.

Towards Lyman, the enemy did not conduct any offensives (assaults). The invaders launched an airstrike in the area of Serebriansk forestry, Luhansk oblast. The occupiers fired artillery and mortars at around 10 settlements, including Nevske, Bilohorivka, Luhansk oblast, Torske, Verkhniokamianske, Spirne, Rozdolivka, Donetsk oblast.

Towards Bakhmut, Ukrainian defenders repelled 18 enemy attacks in the vicinities of Ivanivske, Klischiivka and Andriivka, Donetsk oblast. The occupiers launched an air strike near Dyliivka, Donetsk oblast. Over 10x settlements, including Markove, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Klischiivka, Andriivka, Donetsk oblast, came under artillery and mortar fire.

Towards Avdiivka, the enemy conducted failed assault operations east of Stepove, Avdiivka, and Pervomaisk, Donetsk oblast, where the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 15 attacks. The enemy fired artillery and mortars at more than 15 settlements, including Sukha Balka, Keramik, Tonenke, Avdiivka, Netailove, Pervomaisk, Donetsk oblast.

Towards Mariinka, they launched unsuccessful assaults with air support in the vicinity of Mariinka and Novomykhailivka, Donetsk oblast, where Ukrainian defenders repelled 15 attacks. The settlements of Oleksandropil, Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Mariinka, Pobieda, Novomykhailivka, Katerynivka, Donetsk oblast were under the occupiers’ artillery and mortar fire.

Towards Shakhtarsk, the invaders conducted assault operations near Staromaiorsk, Donetsk oblast, to no success. The adversary launched air strikes near Urozhaine and Staromaiorsk, Donetsk oblast. Around 10 settlements, including Vodiane, Bohoyavlenka, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, Staromaiorsk, Rivnopil, Donetsk oblast, came under artillery and mortar fire.

Towards Zaporizhzhia, the invaders made unsuccessful assaults near Robotyne and west of Verbove, Zaporizhzhia oblast, where Ukrainian defenders 5 attacks. The occupiers launched air strikes in the vicinities of Novodarivka and Mala Tokmachka, Zaporizhzhia oblast. Over 20 settlements, including Temyrivka, Poltavka, Huliaipole, Novodanylivka, Mali Scherbaky, Kamiansk, Zaporizhzhia oblast, came under artillery and mortar fire.

Towards Kherson, the settlement of Ivanivka, Bilozerka, Kherson oblast and the city of Kherson suffered from enemy artillery shelling.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue their offensive operation towards Melitopol and offensive (assault) operations towards Bakhmut, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, exhausting the enemy all along the front line.

The Ukrainian Air Force launched 2 air strikes on concentrations of troops, weapons and military equipment of the occupiers. 

The Ukrainian missile troops hit 3 buildups of troops, weapons and military equipment, 6 artillery systems, 2 command posts and 2 ammunition depots of the russian invaders.

The 6th power unit at the Zaporizhzhia NPP has been de-energized. As a result, diesel generators and security systems were started, which worked for 90 minutes.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, 852 civilians have tripped mines and been injured. Among them 256 died, others were injured.

Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

The Defence Forces of Ukraine defeated 32 units of enemy equipment towards Lyman-Kupiansk. Moreover, 7 russian attacks were repelled there. The enemy launched 9 air strikes and used 29 kamikaze drones. The number of attacks towards sector was higher than towards Bakhmut as the invaders attacked our positions 627 times.

Lieutenant Colonel Volodymyr Fito, Head of Public Relations of the Ground Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, stated that over the day, 178 invaders were eliminated and 32 pieces of their equipment destroyed, among them a tank and three armoured personnel carriers.

Kharkiv oblast

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that Ukrainian troops repelled 4 russian attacks towards Kupiansk. Also russian troops launched an air strike near Petropavlivka. According to the report, more than 15 settlements in the region were shelled.

Oleh Syniehubov, Head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, said that Kharkiv oblast will be the first region in Ukraine to set up a social hotline for internally displaced persons. The project will be launched in Kharkiv oblast for the first time, as the region has sheltered the largest number of IDPs – more than 520,000. The hotline will help to quickly obtain the necessary information about available social services, humanitarian and other assistance, government and international support.

Researcher Mykhailo Sydorchuk informed that the world’s largest low-frequency radio telescope was damaged during the occupation and fighting in Volokhiv Yar. The area around the radio astronomy observatory was mined, ammunition stored in the buildings and tanks and artillery deployed nearby. The equipment for astronomical observations was stolen by russians and local looters. According to him, several dozen million euros are needed to restore it.

Around midnight, the enemy struck Chuhuiv, using S-300 anti-aircraft systems. The buildings of an educational institution and a private building were damaged. Preliminary, there were no casualties.

During the day, the invaders shelled the settlements of Kharkiv, Chuhuiv and Kupiansk regions.

In Dvorichna village, Kupiansk region, a 74-year-old man was injured and hospitalised as a result of hostile shelling.

A residential building was damaged and a fire broke out in Kruhliakivka village, Kupiansk region.

In addition, Kozacha Lopan and Veterynarne of Kharkiv region, Starytsia and Budarky of Chuhuiv region, Ivanivka, Kyslivka, Kotliarivka, Tabaivka, Krokhmalne, Pishchane of Kupiansk region and other settlements were under enemy attacks.

A 41-year-old civilian man tripped over an explosive device while searching for firewood in a forest belt in Sorokivka village, Kharkiv region. He was hospitalised with an injury.

Towards Kupiansk, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled 7 russian attacks near Synkivka, Petropavlivka and Ivanivka.

Mine clearance is ongoing. Over the day, pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service examined more than 4.5 hectares of territory and defused 81 explosive ordnance.

As of 16. November 2023, 272 children have been evacuated from the dangerous communities of Kupiansk region. Another 22 are to be evacuated. The evacuation is ongoing.

Donetsk oblast

The press service of Donetsk police reported that yesterday russian troops attacked civilians 19 times. 12 settlements were hit: Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, Kurakhove, Selydove, Toretsk cities, Ocheretyne, Pivdenne settlements, Bohoiavlenka, Yevhenivka, Karlivka, Sokil and Trudove villages.

45 civilian objects were damaged, including 40 residential buildings, a paramedic and maternity point, a shop, a college, an outbuilding and a car.

Russia launched four missile attacks on Selydove.  Four people were killed and three injured in the shelling. 8 apartment buildings, 17 private buildings, a shop, a car and an outbuilding were damaged.

The invaders shelled Yevhenivka and Pivdenne with artillery, injuring civilians.

Also russians launched two FAB guided bombs at Bohoiavlenka. Three private buildings and a medical facility were damaged.

The enemy shelled Toretsk with Grad multiple rocket launchers and artillery. Two apartment buildings and two private buildings were destroyed.

In Karlivka, enemy shells hit two buildings.

Vitalii Barabash, Head of Avdiivka City Military Administration, said that as of 16 November, 1431 residents remain in Avdiivka. Evacuations are planned for the next few days, there is an increased flow of people due to constant russian shelling and air strikes. Yesterday there were about 30 massive shelling attacks on the community’s territory and 12 air strikes.

Luhansk oblast

The enemy is shelling not only the de-occupied settlements but also the supply routes. However, aid continues to be delivered to people who remain living near the frontline. Once again, 500 loaves of bread were delivered to them. Food, hygiene kits and other industrial goods were delivered to those who could not be reached last time, specifically, to Hrekivka.

There were hostilities near Nadiia in Svatove region yesterday, but our defenders repelled all russian attacks. The enemy shelled Serebrianka forest with aircraft. They used mortars and artillery to shell Bilohorivka and Nevske.

In the occupied part of Luhansk oblast, russian invaders blocked 50 VPN services that allow access to Ukrainian websites and social networks blocked by the occupation last week.

Border guards of the Steel Border Offensive Guard Brigade captured a russian reconnaissance man in Svatove direction. He will now be transferred to the exchange fund.

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

The head of the Foreign Ministry of Great Britain, David Cameron, who was appointed to the post a few days ago, made his first official visit to Ukraine. In Kyiv, he met with President Volodymyr Zelenskyi and Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal. It was about providing Ukraine with weapons, strengthening air defense and protecting critical infrastructure, the security situation in the Black Sea and the further work of the alternative “grain corridor”, sanction support.

Kyiv RMA reported that private houses are being built in the oblast from scratch on the site of those destroyed by the occupiers. Active works are taking place at 83 facilities in 15 communities of the capital region. Thanks to the implementation of this Program in the oblast, about 90 families will be able to return to their homes: families with many children, elderly people, families of defenders, participants in hostilities.

The Kyiv Investment Forum is being held in Brussels, which is dedicated to the post-war reconstruction and innovative development of the Ukrainian capital. As Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported, the event gathered more than 500 participants – representatives of European institutions, the Belgian government, international investment funds, as well as ambassadors and representatives of diplomatic missions of 36 foreign countries.

Kyiv and Brussels are now sister cities. The cooperation agreement was signed at the Kyiv Investment Forum in Brussels by the mayors of the cities – Philip Klose and Vitaliy Klitschko.

Leipzig provides systematic assistance and support to Kyiv and Ukraine. As Vitaliy Klitschko reported during a speech at the city council of Leipzig, since the beginning of the full-scale war, the partners have handed over to Kyiv more than 100 generators, equipment for critical infrastructure enterprises in the amount of 2.5 million euros, 14 fire trucks, which are currently working to eliminate emergency situations in the capital. 10,000 Ukrainian citizens found temporary shelter in Leipzig.

81 schools of Kyiv oblast will rAccording to Luhansk Regional Military Administration, in the occupied territories, the invaders demand that villagers re-register their property rights to land shares according to the legislation in force in russia. Otherwise, they threaten to ‘nationalise’ the land plots. That is, to simply take them away. Relevant working groups are already operating in rural areas of the occupied regions.

Artem Lysohor, Head of Luhansk Regional Military Administration, said that russians launch more than 500 shells a day at Ukrainian military and de-occupied settlements in our area of responsibility. He also noted that entry routes to the liberated settlements are becoming more difficult. This is due to both weather conditions and enemy attempts to disrupt logistics.

In the 2023-2024 academic year, the UN WFP will finance 30% of daily hot lunches for 21,000 children in grades 1-4 in schools in 35 communities of the oblast. The signing of the relevant contract was announced by the head of Kyiv RMA Ruslan Kravchenko. Last year, 58 schools received such assistance in the amount of UAH 7.8 million as part of the School Nutrition Program project.

A street photo exhibition of the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance “Wripped from the Face of the Earth” was opened in Kyiv, dedicated to the cities and villages that the russian invaders destroyed during the full-scale war. 16 stands cover photo evidence of the destruction of Luhansk and Donetsk regions, Slobozhanschyna and the south of Ukraine. In addition, the thematic banners emphasize the population centers destroyed by the russians by 80-100%.

Zhytomyr oblast

In Zhytomyr oblast, they are planning to create a regional center for training the population for national resistance. This was discussed at a joint meeting of RMA, law enforcement agencies and territorial staffing center.

The inspection of the progress of works on the reconstruction of the premises of the Berdychiv elementary school for students of grades 1-4 and the shelter of the educational institution was checked as part of the “Transparency and Accountability” project. As reported in RMA, the community received funds for reconstruction thanks to a subvention from the state budget for the restoration and development of infrastructure.

Another “Safety Class” was opened in Zhytomyr oblast – in the Chervone Lyceum. The initiators of its creation were rescuers, representatives of local self-government, educators and juveniles. To make lessons in the Safety Class interesting, its space was equipped with all the necessary educational and methodological material, information stands, bright instructions, as well as products from UNICEF Ukraine.

Zhytomyr RMA reported that students of the Luhyny Lyceum make trench candles for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The educational institution also sends amulets created by their own hands to Ukrainian soldiers.

Sumy oblast

Sumy RMA reported that the russians carried out 10 shelling of the border territories and settlements of the oblast, a total of 43 explosions from mortars, self-propelled guns, AGS, 2 strikes by FPV kamikaze drones and 1 VOG drop from an unmanned aerial vehicle were recorded. Krasnopillia, Khotyn, Yunakivka, Seredina-Buda communities came under shelling. The night in Sumy oblast passed without shelling.

Sumy regional prosecutor’s office reported that on November 15, a 48-year-old man was wounded as a result of russian mortar fire in the town of Seredina-Buda. Also, as a result of the shelling, the power transmission line was damaged, and the facades of private houses were cut by debris.

The State Border Service of Ukraine reported that recently, the enemy has been actively using sabotage and reconnaissance groups (SRG) in the Sumy direction. It was noted there that the border territories of Ukraine have anti-sabotage reserves, observation posts, fortifications, monitoring of the border and border areas with the help of drones in order to detect enemy SRGs in time.

Chernihiv oblast

The russians shelled the border of Chernihiv oblast 4 times from their territory. As reported by the SBGS, a total of 19 explosions were recorded. The Novhorod-Siverskyi and Semenivka communities were shelled. The enemy struck with barrel artillery and launched unguided missiles from a helicopter.

As a result of russian shelling in Novhorod-Siveryi region on November 15, a volunteer from Sumy oblast received a shrapnel wound in the thigh. Mrs. Nataliya was carrying food and humanitarian aid in a car to the residents of the border areas, which are under constant shelling. The military provided the woman with first aid and took her to the hospital.

The State Agency for Reconstruction and Development of Infrastructure of Ukraine announced a tender for the reconstruction of the 21st private house in the village of Yagidne, which was damaged during the russian occupation in March 2022. The agency reminded that tenders were held in October for the repair of 16 apartment buildings on Druzhba and Lisova streets. After signing contracts with contractors, work will begin.

Thanks to international support, about 5,000 elementary school students in the 21st community of Chernihiv oblast will be able to eat better at school. The head of Chernihiv RMA Vyacheslav Chaus signed a corresponding agreement with the World Food Program to expand support for the school feeding program in Ukraine.

Chernihiv RMA reported that 20 Heroes from the oblast were awarded state awards for personal courage and selfless actions shown in the defense of state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, loyalty to the military oath. Another 20 soldiers were awarded posthumously.

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk region

The occupiers shelled Nikopol region three times with artillery. Nikopol, Marhanets and Miriv communities came under attack. In total, about a dozen shells fell on populated areas of the district.

A soldier with a bullet wound to the head was rescued in the Dnipro hospital. The bullet pierced the forehead and remained close to the internal carotid artery. Doctors  removed it endoscopically through the nasal cavity.

Vinnytsia region

​​Another 350 children of Defenders and Defenders went on vacation to Transcarpathia. Currently, there are already 3 groups of children who, as part of the regional target program, went on vacation to Transcarpathia which was financed by the regional budget. During the trip, the children of the defenders will not only profit from the amazing nature of the Ukrainian Carpathians, but also visit ancient castles, participate in quests and games, classes and competitions.

Kirovohrad oblast

Kropyvnytskyi RMA reported that an updated exhibition Ukraine: Flames of War was opened at Kropyvnytskyi Museum of Local History. 

The first exhibition Ukraine: Flames of War was opened in September 2022 at the Regional Museum of Local History to highlight the events of the russo-Ukrainian war, starting from February 2014. It showcases different war stages, key  events and honors the memory of the fallen Heroes.

Poltava oblast 

Poltava RMA signed an agreement on cooperation with the UN World Food Program. This is an important step to implement school lunch and snack reform in the region. 10 other regions have also signed similar agreements. Financial support is provided for 44 educational institutions in 16 communities. This will improve the nutrition of over 4,000 primary school students.

Cherkasy oblast

Another 19 residents of Cherkasy whose homes were damaged by a russian missile on September 21 were compensated. It is about 324,692 UAH of assistance. 

In Cherkasy Regional Museum of Local Lore, twenty-one works of patchwork masters from different oblasts of Ukraine were presented. The Cities of Heroes exhibition conveys the past history, trials of war and dreams of a peaceful future owing to the quilting technique.

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast

Yuriy Malashko, head of Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, reported that a 67-year-old local resident was wounded as a result of shelling in Novoandriivka and taken to a medical facility. Seven people have been injured as a result of the rocket attack on the Komyshuvash community – four injured civilians and three rescuers. Two rescuers were killed. 

On November 15, russian troops fired 141 times at 25 localities in Zaporizhzhia oblast. 121 artillery attacks took place on the territory of Huliapole, Orikhov, Zaliznychne, Novoandriivka, Belogorye, Levadne, Poltavka, Temyrivka, Robotino, Kamianske, Pyatikhatki, Lobkove, Plavni and other frontline towns and villages.

According to Enerhoatom, a partial blackout occurred at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant due to the incompetence of rosatom employees and the occupation authorities. A power outage occurred at the plant’s sixth power unit, forcing the activation of diesel generators and security systems, which operated for 90 minutes.

Ivan Fedorov, Mayor of Melitopol, said that in the temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhzhia oblast, russians are forcing employers to report to the migration department all employed people who are not russian citizens. In case of refusal, they threaten fines of up to 800,000 rubles and charge a higher tax for such employees. 

Mykolaiv oblast

Vitaliy Kim, Head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, said that, on November 15, russian troops shelled the waters of the Ochakiv community with artillery, and on the night of  November 16, they shelled the coastline of the Kutsurub community. There were no casualties.

The Korean corporation POSCO INTERNATIONAL Corporation has expressed its intention to build a steel module production plant in Mykolaiv oblast to supply residential, educational and medical modular systems. On Tuesday, November 14, Vitaliy Kim, Head of Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, and Jong Tak, CEO of POSCO INTERNATIONAL Corporation, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. This marks the start of the joint implementation of a project to build a steel module production plant in Mykolaiv oblast.

According to Department of Education and Science of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, in Mykolaiv oblast, 60 percent of educational institutions work remotely. In November, the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science, sent 3,351 laptops and the same number of equipment sets for the needs of schoolchildren.

Odesa oblast

The press service of the State Emergency Service in Odesa said that on November 16,, the SES divers conducted training using a new motorboat. This boat was provided to the rescuers of Odesa  oblast thanks to the contributions of United24 donors, and everything has been taken into account to make it quick, convenient and safe for divers to perform their assigned tasks. The boat was built specifically for the divers of Odesa oblast. It is designed for eight people, is not afraid of impacts, corrosion, and is spacious for equipment. It can be used both for search and rescue and for patrolling.

Dmytro Kuleba, Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine,  and the Odesa Regional Military Administration, reported on November 16, that a British delegation headed by newly appointed Foreign Secretary David Cameron visited Odesa to examine the consequences of russian attacks on Odesa: he visited the port’s civilian infrastructure and the Transfiguration Cathedral, which was hit by a rocket in the summer. 

Kherson oblast

As of 18:15, two people were injured in Kherson oblast as a result of shelling by russian military: a 68-year-old man died, and a 54-year-old woman was hospitalized in moderate severity.

Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, reported that the russian army attacked Bilozerka, Kherson oblast. Residential buildings and a grocery store were damaged. A critical infrastructure facility was destroyed. As a result, Bilozerka and surrounding villages are currently without electricity. One person was killed and four injured.

As a result of the morning shelling of Kherson, a private house was damaged and public transport came under fire. A 67-year-old man was killed.

Southern Defence Forces destroyed three observation posts of the russian army, two cannons, two armored personnel carriers, three vehicles and eliminated 40 russian soldiers in the Kherson oblast.

On 16 November, russian troops shelled Kherson Oblast 94 times. They hit residential areas. One educational institution in Kherson district was damaged. One person was injured. 

The Zmiyivka village of Beryslav community received a fire truck from Swedish charity donors. Representatives of the local union of paramedics and police of fire and rescue service of the Swedish city of Söderhamn handed over the vehicle. Roger Westerlund, head of the union, arrived in Zmiyivka in person.

Due to constant shelling by hostile forces and after the russian terrorist attack on the Kakhovka HPP, the settlements of Beryslav municipality have problems with water supply. The community received special equipment to restore the water supply: pumps, frequency converters and electric cables. WASH Cluster Ukraine and the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) provided assistance. The equipment has already been installed in 5 settlements, where the security situation allowed it to be done.

Latest news for today in the western regions of Ukraine

Volyn oblast

The International Laparoscopic Practical Course will be held in the regional center for several days. Six surgeons from Great Britain share their experience.

The RMA held a meeting with representatives of the Swedish Assistance Center CF. They discussed legislative changes regarding volunteer activities.

Zakarpattia oblast

Representatives of Uzhhorod City Council took part in the German-Ukrainian conference of municipal partnerships in Leipzig. The key topic of the conference in Leipzig is partnership and effective cooperation of cities, strengthening of local self-government, and exchange of practical experience.

A charity exhibition and sale of the works of the Polish volunteer and icon painter Hubert Kamp will be held in Uzhhorod. All funds will be donated to the rehabilitation center for military personnel in the village of Kelechyn of Khust region.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

The RMA held a coordination meeting with representatives of international/national organizations. They discussed solving problematic issues of IDPs living in Prykarpattia.

Hennadii Ponomarenko, who since July of this year led a brigade of Ivano-Frankivsk utility workers that helped rebuild Kherson after the explosion of Kakhovka HPP, received the For Work and Victory medal by Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine.

Lviv oblast

Lviv City Council reported that in order to support and develop rehabilitation in Ukraine, the UNBROKEN Cities Network international initiative was launched. Its founders and first participants were Manchester, Liverpool and Lviv.

Students of Lviv University received 400 books from Poland, the Netherlands and France thanks to the Ukrainian Youth – a European Book project. In addition, 400 books from Ukrainian publishing houses were handed over to the educational institution as part of the Ukrainian Children – a Ukrainian Book campaign.

The international organization Habitat for Humanity International bought new furniture worth UAH 2,6 mln for shelters in the oblast.

Taras Zhelizko, defender from Sambor, was posthumously awarded with the 3th degree For Courage Order. In 2014, the soldier voluntarily joined ranks of the Armed Forces. And with the beginning of the full-scale war, he performed combat missions as part of the 81st separate airmobile brigade. He was killed near Bilohorivka in Luhansk oblast on March 27 of this year.

2 objects from the soviet period were dismantled in Lviv. They were transferred to the Territory of Terror Museum of Totalitarian Regimes.

Rivne oblast

In Rivne oblast, the regional representative office of the Office for Persons Missing Under Special Circumstances of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has started work. Ludmila Kucher, who already has experience in this field, was appointed regional coordinator.

Students of Strilsk primary school, selling goodies and handmade products, volunteers collected over UAH 10K. These funds will be donated on an FPV kamikaze drone.

Over UAH 50K were collected at the charity fair anniversary of the formation of Klesivska community. The collected funds will be spent on the purchase of a car for a military countryman.

The Sarnen City Council sent 91 pairs of tactical headphones with microphones and gadgets to the defenders.

Ternopil oblast

Ternopil City Council reported that they sent 12 quadcopters and other equipment worth over UAH 3,4 mln to the defenders.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

The RMA reported that air defense was working in Khmelnytskyi during the air alert.

Chernivtsi oblast

Residents of Chernivtsi sent almost 30 tonnes of humanitarian cargo, included, flour, cereals and canned goods, to residents of Yakymivska and Bereznehuvatska communities. Trucks sent to Zaporizhzhia and Dnipro. It is there that the residents of these communities now live, because their homes are still under occupation.

The German Rheinmetall company plans to supply the Armed Forces of Ukraine with Caracal airborne tactical vehicles, developed on the basis of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class. It is planned that Ukraine will receive five such vehicles at the end of this year or at the beginning of 2024.

Nika Popescu, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, announced that Moldova joined four of the six packages of sanctions introduced by the EU against moscow.

David Cameron, British Foreign Minister, who was appointed a few days ago, arrived in Ukraine. He has already met with Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine. They discussed weapons for the front, strengthening air defense, protection of Ukrainians and critical infrastructure, as well as the security situation in the Black Sea and the further work of the alternative “grain corridor”.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, had a phone conversation with Giorgia Meloni, Prime Minister of Italy. They discussed defense cooperation and the need to speed up the adoption of the 12th package of EU sanctions against russia.

Ihor Zhovkva, Deputy Head of the Office of the President, held a video conference with Leia Raquel Jimenez Duarte, Minister – General Secretary of the Office of the President of Paraguay. In order to strengthen the presence of the Ukrainian state in the region, they discussed the possibility of organizing a Ukraine-Latin America summit.
