Towards Volyn, Polissia, Siversk and Sloboda, there were no significant changes in the operational situation. No signs of formation of russian offensive groups were found. The units of the armed forces of the of the russian federation continue their combat training at the training grounds of the republic of belarus. Towards Lyman, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensives in the vicinities of settlements of Synkivka and Vesele. The invaders fired artillery at the vicinities of Kupiansk, Kharkiv oblast, Makiivka, Nevske, Dibrova, Bilohorivka, Luhansk oblast, Kolodiazi, Lyman, and Vyimka, Donetsk oblast.
Towards Bakhmut, the enemy continues to assault the city of Bakhmut as well as the vicinity of Ivanivske, Donetsk oblast. The russian forces shelled the settlements of Vasiukivka, Bondarne, Zaliznyanske, Minkivka, Novomarkove, Hryhorivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Maiorsk, and New York.
Towards Avdiivka and Mariinka, the enemy conducted offensive operations towards the settlements of Novokalynove, Avdiivka, Sieverne, Pervomaiske, and Mariinka. None of them were successful. Novokalynove, Krasnohorivka, Kamianka, Avdiivka, Netaylove, Mariinka, and Heorhiivka, Donetsk oblast, came under numerous enemy attacks.
Towards Shakhtarsk, the enemy shelled the vicinities of Novomykhailivka, Vuhledar, and Velyka Novosilka, Donetsk oblast.
Towards Zaporizhzhia and Kherson, the enemy is on the defensive. The occupiers shelled the settlements of Olhivske, Malynivka, Huliaipole, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, Zaporizhzhia oblast, Kherson, Zolota Balka, Mykhailivka, Beryslav, Vesele, Kozatske, Mykolaivka, Lvove, Antonivka, Blahovischenske, and Dniprovske, Kherson oblast.
The russian invaders continue to suffer huge losses. It forces them to set up their hospitals on the territory of civilian medical facilities.
Russian occupation forces use a local civilian hospital in the village of Novovasylivka, Priazovskyi region, Zaporizhzhia oblast, as a military hospital. About 200 wounded russian invaders are being treated there. Civilians are denied access to the medical facility.
The Ukrainian Air Force launched 3 air strikes on the concentrations of occupants’ personnel and military equipment. Rocket and artillery units hit 3 enemy buildups, 1 electronic warfare station, 1 ammunition depot of the adversary.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ukraine urges to convene the UN safety council meeting. Russia is looking to locate the tactical nuclear weapons in belarus by violating the Agreement on non-proliferation of nuclear weapons, architecture of nuclear power and international security system in total. Russia once again breaches all possible agreements.
According to the head of Naftogaz, Oleskii Chernyshov, 2 new gas wells with 300-400K cubic meter capacity were launched. “We do not only ensure operations of our facilities, but also digging new wells. We opened 2 new powerful wells with the capacity of 300-400K cubic meters daily”, he noted.
Recent war events in the east of Ukraine
Kharkiv oblast
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, russian troops attempted to attack Synkivka. The invaders shelled at least 11 settlements towards Slobozhanske. Towards Volyn, Polissia, Siversk and Sloboda, the operational situation has not changed significantly and there were no signs of the formation of offensive groups of invaders. The enemy continues to maintain a military presence in the border areas of Kursk and Belgorod regions.
Yevhen Vasylenko, spokesman of the State Emergency Service in Kharkiv oblast said that as of 20 March, sappers cleared about 1% of the potentially mined territory of the region. This number is constantly changing as active hostilities are taking place along the border with russia, specifically Kharkiv, Bohodukhiv, Chuhuiv and Kupiansk regions. The shelling is constant and intense.
Press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine informed that around 10 am, russia shelled Kupiansk. A private building and a five-storey building were damaged as a result of the attack.
Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration reported that yesterday, the enemy attacked the border settlements of Kharkiv, Kupiansk, Chuhuiv and Bohodukhiv regions. Specifically, Kupiansk, Vovchansk, Strilecha and other cities and villages were under attack.
As a result of a tank shelling of Tymofiivka village in Bohodukhiv region, a residential building and outbuildings were destroyed, two more houses damaged. Residential buildings were also damaged as a result of shelling of Vovchansk with multiple rocket launchers.
Yesterday in Shestakove village of Chuhuiv region, a 70-year-old civilian man tripped an unknown explosive object and blew up. He died from his injuries.
Yesterday, pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service examined about 4.5 hectares of territory and defused 149 explosive ordnance.
Donetsk oblast
Serhii Cherevatyi, spokesman of the Eastern Group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have enough troops and weapons to defend themselves in the area of Bakhmut and keep the situation stable. Yesterday, the Defence Forces destroyed a tank, several pieces of artillery, two UAVs, a military command and observation post and 10 field ammunition depots towards Bakhmut. He also confirmed the information provided by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Valerii Zaluzhnyi, that the situation towards Bakhmut had stabilized.
US Institute for the Study of War (ISW) said that the defense forces have recaptured positions near the E40 road north of Bakhmut. They also noted that the forces of the Wagner PMC may have managed to cross the T0504 road, but they cannot gain a foothold there.
Three more children were evacuated from Siversk community. Russian troops are shelling Siversk in Bakhmut region daily. Over the past four days, 13 more people have been evacuated from the settlement.
Vitalii Barabash, head of Avdiivka City Military Administration informed that there will be no mobile communication. Public utilities are being evacuated from the city.
Around midnight, russians launched a missile attack on Kramatorsk, hitting the industrial zone. According to the latest information, there were no casualties.
Towards Donetsk, intense shelling of Avdiivka with artillery and Grad multiple rocket launchers, including cluster munitions, continued at night and in the morning. The shells hit 4 streets and a coke plant. In Kurakhove community, two 2-storey buildings in Hostre and a private building in Kurakhove were damaged.
Towards Horlivka, one person was killed in Chasiv Yar and another in Pivnichnyi Toretsk community. In Kostiantynivka community, two country houses in Kostiantynivka and several buildings in Predtechyne were damaged.
Towards Lysychansk, 15 buildings in Zvanivka community and 5 buildings in Pereizne were damaged. In Siversk, the railway station building and several nearby private buildings were damaged.
Pavlo Kyrylenko, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration reported that yesterday, Russians killed 2 residents in Chasiv Yar and Pivnichne. One more person was injured.
Luhansk oblast
Yesterday, our troops repelled enemy attacks near Kreminna and Bilohorivka.
Oleksii Smyrnov, acting head of the Regional Military Administration said that the enemy has been active in Luhansk oblast lately. The last day was no exception. The most intense artillery attacks by russians were recorded there for several weeks in a row. In addition, the enemy is using armoured vehicles to support its offensive, which our military regularly destroys.
According to the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, russians are destroying buildings and remnants of infrastructure in de-occupied villages and in Novopskov, the invaders are breaking into the homes of evacuated residents.
Of six landfills that russians plan to set up in the occupied regions, three are located in the so-called “luhansk people’s republic”.
Referring to the State Border Guard Service, over the past three days, servicemen of the Luhansk Border Guard Detachment shot down eight russian drones, one of which had a K-51 grenade drop system.

Kyiv oblast
Since February 24, 2022, law enforcement officers have received 767 reports of missing persons in Kyiv oblast. The head of the regional police Andriy Nebytov reported that 484 people were found, 143 of whom were among the bodies of killed Ukrainians, while the fate of 283 remains unknown. According to him, russia often used forced deportation of residents of Irpin, Hostomel, and Bucha.
Exhumation of bodies continues in Kyiv oblast. 1,374 bodies of civilians have been found, most of whom were killed from small arms by the russian military. 200 bodies remain unidentified, and their DNA has been added to the database after genetic and molecular analysis.
The Wings of Freedom commemorative coin was presented in Bucha on the occasion of the Day of the National Guard of Ukraine. The coin was presented by a group of volunteers called “Evacuation Specialists” who have been evacuating civilians from the Bucha region since the first days of russia’s invasion. The coin is dedicated to the heroic deeds of the 4th Operational Brigade ‘Rubizh’ of the National Guard, whose soldiers met the enemy in the first hours of a large-scale offensive and recaptured the Antonov airport from the invaders. The coin will later be put up for sale, and the proceeds will be used to purchase ambulances and special equipment to evacuate civilians from the combat zone.
As reported by KCSA, places of cultural recreation will slowly be opened in Kyiv. For instance, Kyiv residents will soon be able to visit Muromets Park. It is also planned to open the Hydropark metro station.
Kyiv RMA informed that school students in the Baryshiv and Hostomel communities, whose territories were affected by the full-scale russian invasion, received Apple iPads for studying. The devices contain educational materials, textbooks, lectures, video tutorials, and all educational software that is available without an Internet connection. The project was made possible thanks to the assistance of the international company ASBISc Enterprises and the NGO 7Fields.
The regional State Emergency Service reported that two ‘Safety Classrooms’, of which one is inclusive, have been opened in Uzyn school in Kyiv oblast. From now on, rescuers from EOD units, the National Police, and the medical service will deliver specialized classes in these two classrooms.
A famous American military expert John Spencer visited Kyiv. He is a veteran of the Iraq War and a retired major in the U.S. Army, who currently holds the Chair of Urban Warfare Studies at the Institute for Contemporary Warfare (ISW), a research institution based at the U.S. Military Academy.
Famous actor and UNICEF goodwill ambassador Orlando Bloom came to Kyiv. He visited children at the Spilno psychosocial support center. The last time the actor came to Ukraine was in 2016, when he visited Slaviansk, Kramatorsk, and Svyatohorsk in Donetsk oblast.
Zhytomyr oblast
According to the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration, the Invincibility Centres of Zhytomyr oblast have been switched from round-the-clock mode of operation to the standby mode, and, in case of emergency, these centres will resume their work as soon as possible. The Invincibility Centres set up in the premises of district military administrations, city and village councils remain open during working hours, where one can receive Internet access and recharge mobile devices.
In Zhytomyr oblast, applications for funding the medium-term repairs of houses damaged by russian shelling have started as part of the Household Repair initiative. Repairs will be carried out at the expense of the UGCC Charitable Foundation Caritas-Zhytomyr. Prior to providing funding for repairs, a special team of experts will visit the household from which the application has been received.
Serhiy Sukhomlyn, the mayor of Zhytomyr, reported that 40 drones were purchased in Zhytomyr at the expense of the local budget. These drones have already been handed over to the soldiers of the 95th separate air assault brigade.
Sumy oblast
Over the past 24 hours, the russians shelled 6 communities in Sumy oblast. The enemy attacked the territory of Znob-Novhorodske, Esman, Nova Sloboda, Seredyno-Buda, and Krasnopillia communities with mortars. In total, there were 25 explosions. Bilopillia community sustained an attack from grenade launchers (29 rounds) and artillery fire from self-propelled artillery systems (5 shells).
According to the Sumy Regional Military Administration, at night, the russians fired 16 mortar bombs at the territory of Krasnopillia community and 10 rounds from an automatic grenade launcher at the territory of Bilopillia community.
Trostianets celebrates the anniversary of liberation from russian invaders. According to Oleksandr Nesterenko, Deputy Commander of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 22,000 residents of a large town were held hostage by the russians for a month, from 1 to 26 March 2022 – more than 40 civilians were killed, some are still missing, 829 buildings were damaged and 134 – destroyed. Today, houses, schools, libraries are being rebuilt and different projects are being implemented in Trostianets. The city holds the home front and supports the defenders on the frontline.
Sumy Animal Protection Society has adopted 37 dogs and cats from active combat zones during the full-scale war in Ukraine. Recently, six more dogs have been brought to the centre from Chasiv Yar, Bakhmut region, Donetsk oblast, which is constantly being shelled by the russian army. The animals are currently undergoing quarantine and adaptation. In total, about three hundred animals are currently looking for owners at the centre of the Sumy Animal Protection Society.
The book “Treasures of Swedish Archives. Documents on the History of Ukraine” was presented in Sumy. It contains 259 pages of diplomatic correspondence, newspaper articles and maps from the late 1590s to 1918 describing the history of Ukraine. All materials were found in the Swedish archives by Maryna Trattner, a native of Sumy oblast who has been living in Sweden for almost 20 years. According to her, 18 Swedish and Ukrainian historians, lawyers, and artists studied the findings. The foreword to the book was written by historian, researcher at the Institute of History of Ukraine of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Oleksandr Alfiorov, who is currently defending our country in Donetsk oblast.
Chernihiv oblast
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that over the past 24 hours, the enemy shelled the area near Horodysche, Chernihiv oblast. It is noted that the operational situation in the Northern sector has not changed significantly, no signs of the presence of enemy offensive battle groups have been detected.
Residents of Chernihiv oblast can participate in gathering evidence of war crimes committed by russians. People can anonymously write about their lives during the full-scale invasion of Ukraine and talk about war crimes committed by russians via the online platform “Witness”. Currently, half a thousand stories, memoirs, and testimonies about the war are available on the portal. According to the project directorate, some of the data was transferred to the International Criminal Court.
According to the charitable humanitarian initiative SavED, several dozen high school students from Chernihiv and Mykhailo-Kotsiubynske will spend several months implementing projects aimed at restoring their communities. The UActive project is an attempt to integrate high school students as much as possible into the reconstruction process using civic education, social entrepreneurship skills training, mentoring and support in developing their own projects to improve life in their communities.
Employees of the Chernihiv Forestry branch together with citizens plant forests in the de-occupied territories. The foresters were joined by students of the Pakul school forestry, volunteers, and the military. Together, they planted 1.4 hectares of forest on the territory of Pakul forestry, where in 2022 the enemy destroyed the forest fund of the oblast without mercy.

Dnipropetrovsk oblast
The head of Dnipropetrovsk RMA Serhii Lysak announced that the enemy attacked the city of Nikopol with a drone.

Two men from Kherson oblast, blown up by a russian landmine, were taken to the hospital in Kryvyi Rih. The men are 24 and 18 years old. One lost two legs, the other received a chest wound and mine-explosive injuries.
Vinnytsia oblast
Vinnytsia City Council reported that the second day of the “Children’s Charity Weekend”, organized with the support of the city mayor, came to an end in Vinnytsia. According to the results of the first charity day, young volunteers collected almost UAH 100,000 for the Armed Forces.
Serhii Borzov, the head of Vinnytsia RMA, reported that Vinnytsia National Guardsmen received two pickup trucks and two DJI Mavic 3 quadcopters.
Poltava oblast
More than 2,000 internally displaced persons from Luhansk oblast received help in the humanitarian hub of the Hirske community which works in Poltava. Food kits, hygiene products, and clothes were distributed. Lawyers and psychologists also consult those who want to.
In Kremenchuk, a race dedicated to the memory of “Azov” fighter Maxim Kahal, who died in Mariupol, took place. Adults and children ran a “kilometer of freedom” without preparation. The proceeds from the race will be used to purchase a car for the military.
Cherkasy oblast

Zaporizhzhia oblast
According to the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, occupiers shelled civilian infrastructure of 15 settlements in Zaporizhzhia oblast yesterday. Law enforcement agencies received 20 reports of the destruction of buildings and infrastructure. Russian troops struck 76 times at the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces with tank weapons, rocket and cannon artillery along the entire front line.
A 19-year-old man who was the victim of a rocket attack in Zaporizhzhia on March 22 died in hospital. Doctors fought for his life for two days, but could not rescue him.
Russian invaders have set a new requirement for residents of the temporarily occupied Berdiansk. Now, the locals are obliged to obtain passes that allow them to move around the occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia oblast, and before that, they must also undergo filtration.
More than 500 civilians from Melitopol are currently being held in rashist torture chambers. Thousands of other residents live like in a prison. After each explosion, the occupiers intensified filtration measures and organized trials: for the words “Glory to Ukraine” and any other expression of a pro-Ukrainian position, they fined 30 thousand or imprisoned them in the basement.
In Melitopol, the occupiers fear a counteroffensive by the Armed Forces and are preparing for a possible evacuation. To this end, they held a meeting to discuss ways to leave. At the same time, propaganda telegram channels are spreading guidelines on what to do in the event of a counteroffensive by the Ukrainian army.
Mykolaiv oblast
Every year on March 26, Ukraine celebrates the National Guard Day. Today, in Mykolaiv, the best servicemen of the 19th Mykolaiv Regiment of the National Guard of Ukraine were presented with awards and valuable gifts.
Two maternity hospitals in Mykolaiv received necessary equipment from philanthropists. The WeHelpUkrainians Charitable Foundation from the UK purchased and brought a mobile clinic for women to Mykolaiv at its own expense. It was installed in maternity hospital No. 3. And Maternity Hospital No. 1 received a modern mobile incubator for babies from the Rotary Club.

As the South Operational Command reported, the security component remains unchanged for Odesa oblast: enemy aviation activity is possible, as well as maneuvers of the Black Sea Fleet with missile carriers in the grouping. As of yesterday, the ship group consisted of ten units. The surface launchers were brought back to their basing points. However, there were two submarines in the Black Sea, the total volley of which could be up to eight “calibers”.
In Odesa oblast, a country house on the coast was damaged as a result of the detonation of an enemy sea mine. The incident occurred in the village of Sychavka, Yuzhne territorial community. No one was killed or injured.
A bulk carrier with 30,000 tons of Ukrainian humanitarian wheat for Yemen departed from Chornomorsk. This is the sixth vessel in the Grain From Ukraine program. Since the initiative’s launch, the ports of Greater Odesa have shipped 170,000 tons of Ukrainian wheat to Ethiopia, Somalia, Yemen and Kenya. In total, 845 vessels have exported 25.7 million tons of Ukrainian food to Asia, Europe and Africa since the start of the grain corridor.
In Odesa, the Stability Points will continue to operate, providing fuel, communication and food. The city council will ensure their functioning in the number that existed as of February 4.
Kherson oblast
For two days in a row, the russian military has been testing guided aerial bombs along the contact line in Kherson oblast. But Ukrainian defenders have experience in shooting down these bombs.
A civilian was hit by an explosive for the fourth time in a day in Kherson region yesterday. Near the village of Kostyrka in Vysokopiliya district, a man was inspecting a field and came across a russian mine. Earlier yesterday, three more people were blown up in the fields in Beryslav district, near the villages of Ishchanka and Ivanivka. All the victims are hospitalized with serious injuries.
The de-occupied Kherson oblast continues to receive aid from various organizations and regions. This time, Mykolaiv and Volyn regions delivered medicines, generators and food packages to the region.
Yesterday, a volunteer convoy that was working in Beryslav, Novoraysk and Tyagin communities to provide food to the most remote villages came under the russians drones shelling. Fortunately, the team is alive.

Volyn oblast
A safety classes were opened in the Brodiv Lyceum, Siltsev and Komariv gymnasiums within the framework of the implementation of the all-Ukrainian project “Safety Class”. Their purpose is to train children and youth in matters of civil protection, personal safety and rescue in emergency situations.
Oleg Bondaruk from Lutsk created power banks from metal profiles for Ukrainian soldiers. The volunteer says that such power banks have a better chance of surviving in combat. The battery capacity is 2 kilowatts. This is enough for 40 hours of Starlink operation. It takes 6 hours to charge. The production cost of one device is over UAH 20K, funds are provided by benefactors.
Zakarpattia oblast
The regional children’s home in Zakarpattia received humanitarian aid, namely five tonnes of cargo with food (1,3K liters of milk, pasta, cocktails), fruits, vegetables, sweets, hygiene products, from the Spanish city of Chinchilla.
Ivano-Frankivsk oblast
The RMA reported that 20 children of Heroes went to Bukovel. During the week, they will recover and rest there. An interesting program has been prepared for them.
Lviv oblast
Over 240K people registered as IDPs in Lviv oblast in the Unified Information Database. About 70K of them are children. The real number of IDPs living in Lviv oblast is higher, as many people settled in the private sector and were not registered as IDPs.
On March 27, the largest modular city of Lviv will be visited by representatives of Poland and Great Britain. Using the funds of these countries, this town was built. Thus, 480 modules were purchased, delivered and assembled at the expense of the Polish government and the Government Agency for Strategic Reserves of this country, and 160 modules at the expense of Great Britain.
A car was sent to the soldiers from Sambor to the front thanks to the father of the Church of the Nativity of John the Baptist and the “Do Good Deeds” CF.
Psychological training is conducted for teachers, students and parents in educational institutions of Lviv oblast. The working group of medical and psychosocial care, together with international partners and specialists, comes to schools and talks about mental health, communication in conditions of war and during sirens.
Rivne oblast
The RMA representatives visited the military on the front line. During the trip, they awarded the Heroes with the Rivne RMA awards and handed over humanitarian aid for a more effective fight against the aggressor.
The RMA reported that in the near future, Rivne oblast will send a batch of construction materials to Zaporizhzhia.
Ternopil oblast
The RMA reported that representatives of Velykobirkivsk, Kozlivsk, Zolotopotick, Tovstensk, Monastyrsk and Pochaiv territorial communities received generators from Lithuanian partners.
The RMA reported that during the week, 156 civilians were trained to provide first aid to the injured in martial law conditions.
Khmelnytskyi oblast
The executive committee of the Khmelnytskyi City Council decided to allocate an additional UAH 97,5 million to support military structures.
Plastic windows are being installed in the houses of Khmelnytskyi that were hit by rocket attacks. People who have already installed windows at their own expense can receive compensation from the city council.
Chernivtsi oblast
10 territorial communities of Bukovyna received humanitarian cargo, namely, 400 beds, 500 mattresses, 445 sets of bed linen, 445 pillows, 445 blankets from the United Nations Refugee Agency in Ukraine. The aid is intended for IDPs shelters and two institutions of regional subordination.
Medicine, two generators, rubber for an evacuation car, headlamps, camouflage nets, clothes and fast food from Bukovyna was delivered to military medics. Medicines and clothes were also sent to the defenders who are in the hospital.
