It has been the 707 th day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression.

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 6 pm:

The adversary continues to ignore the laws and customs of war, uses terror tactics, strikes, and attacks both military and civilian targets. The enemy actively uses aviation and quadrocopters of the “FPV” type, conducts assault operations with the support of armored vehicles.

Today was the 50th exchange of prisoners. 207 Ukrainians – soldiers of the Armed Forces, National Guard, DPSU, National Police – privates, sergeants and officers. Many defenders of Mariupol, soldiers who were on “Azovstal”, Zmiiny Island, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Kherson and Sumy directions. This was reported by the head of OP Andriy Yermak.

Russia showed no readiness to hand over to Ukraine the bodies of prisoners of war who were allegedly on board the Il-76 that crashed on January 24 in the Belgorod region. Despite loud statements, the Russian side has not yet provided any evidence of Ukrainian prisoners being on board the Il-76 on January 24. The Russian side’s refusal to hand over the bodies of the dead Ukrainians raises doubts about the veracity of Moscow’s statements. Ukraine insists on an international investigation into the circumstances of the IL-76 plane crash in the Belgorod region and the clarification of the fate of the prisoners from the lists made public by Russia. If the military transport aircraft of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation did transport prisoners, then the Russian Federation once again cynically used them as human shields, which is a gross violation of international law. The work of the Ukrainian side to continue the exchange process with the Russian Federation continues, despite all the obstacles.
