War in Ukraine today: latest news, January 19, 2023 (photo)

It has been the 330th day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression. 

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 6 pm:   

During the day, the enemy launched 4 missile strikes, 2 of which hit the civilian infrastructure of Matviivka, Zaporizhzhia region and 15 air strikes. Moreover, russians launched 30 MRLS attacks. 

The territory of Ukraine is under the threat of air and missile attacks. 

Towards Volyn, Polissia, Siversk and Sloboda, no offensive groups of the enemy were detected. At the same time, the joint military drills of russian air defense and space forces and belarusian air defense forces are underway. The enemy shelled from artillery Buchkiv, Chernihiv oblast; Popivky, Sumy oblast; Alisivky, Strilecha, Zelene, Ternova, Starytsia, Ohirtseve, Vovchansk, Bochkove, Volokhivky, Chuhunivky, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna and Kupiansk, Kharkiv oblast.  

Towards Kupiansk, the enemy fired at the settlements of Kurylivka, Ivanivka, Tabaivka, Berestove and Pershotravneve, Kharkiv oblast, as well as Novoselivske, Luhansk oblast. 

Towards Lyman, the enemy shelled from all types of weapons Novoiehorivky, Ploschanky, Nevske, Chervonopopivka, Kreminna and Serebrianske, Luhansk oblast. 

Towards Bakhmut, the invaders fired ar Verkhniokkamianske, Spirne, Bilohorivka, Soledar, Krasna Hora, Bakhmut, Klischiivka, Kurdiumivka, Zalizne and Vesele, Donetsk oblast. 

Towards Avdiivka, Kostiantynivka, Berdychi, Avdiivka, Vodiane, Pervomaiske, Heorhiivka, Mariinka, Pobieda and Novomykhailivka, Donetsk oblast, were hit. 

Towards Novopavlivka, the enemy fired from tanks and other types of artillery at the settlements of Mykilski Dachi, Vuhledar, Zolota Nyva, Velyka Novosilka and Neskuchne, Donetsk oblast. 

Towards Zaporizhzhia, the invaders fired from tanks, mortars and artillery at over 15 settlements, notably Malynivka, Donetsk oblast, Olhivske, Huliaipole, Bilohiria, Orikhiv, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Mali Scherbaky and Kamianske, Zaporizhzhia oblast. 

Towards Kherson, the occupiers fired at Novooleksandrivka, Havrylivka, Kachkarivka, Mylove, Respublikanets, Odradokamianks, Ivanivka, Molodizhne, Inzhenerne, Antonivka and Kherson. 

The enemy is sustaining heavy losses in manpower. In Novosvitlivka, Luhansk oblast, over 200 recently mobilized wounded residents from the temporarily occupied territories of Luhansk oblast were hospitalized. 

The air defense forces of Ukraine launched 21 strikes on the enemy’s buildup and 6 hits on the positions of anti missile and anti aircraft systems.  

Rocket troops and artillery of Ukraine hit 6 command points, 7 buildup of manpower and the enemy’s ammunition depot. 


According to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Head of EU Council Charles Michel arrived in Kyiv. “Ukraine and EU have achieved significant results in our historic unification. We are working on bringing even better results”, the President noted. 

The EU parliament website shares the news on adoption of a resolution on creating a special international tribunal to investigate the russian military aggression against Ukraine . The resolution states that not only russian president should be held accountable, but also his self-proclaimed belarusian counterpart and their political leadership. 


Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

Kharkiv oblast

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the situation towards Sloboda remains stable, the invaders are shelling Vovchansk and nearby border villages. 

Head of Zolochiv community, Viktor Kovalenko, reported that the invaders attacked Petrivka village  in the afternoon. There is no electricity in Borokhy, Hresi, Kovali, Martynivka, Petrivka and Postolne. 125 private buildings and 227 people are left without electricity.

In the morning, the invaders have been shelling Tymofiivka village in Bohodukhiv region with artillery for an hour. There were about 20 strikes. There were no casualties. Four private buildings and outbuildings were damaged.

Chuhunivka, Dvorichna, Kamianka, Krasne, Kupiansk, Tabaivka, Vovchansk and other cities and villages of the region were under enemy artillery and mortar fire yesterday.

In Kupiansk, a residential building and a private enterprise were damaged by shelling. In Dvorichna, Kupiansk region, a private building was damaged and outbuildings were on fire. In Vovchansk, Chuhuiv region, the enemy shelled two two-story apartment buildings: windows were broken, the roof destroyed. An outpatient clinic was hit. In Vilcha settlement, 5 private buildings were damaged due to the russian shelling. The Vovchansk geriatric boarding house was hit, the windows broken. Enemy shells also hit a kindergarten. There were no casualties.

Donetsk oblast

Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko said during a TV marathon that in the afternoon russian troops shelled Bilozerske in Pokrovsk region.

The Ministry of the Environment reported that during the hostilities, 80% of Sviati Hory National Park was destroyed. According to preliminary information, the damage amounts to about five and a half million hryvnias.

The State Border Guard Service informed that recently Ukrainian artillery and border guards destroyed a group of russian infantry hidding in an industrial area in Soledar.

Towards Volnovakha, russians were constantly shelling Vuhledar throughout the day, damaging 6 buildings. Bohoiavlenka was also shelled twice in the community. There were no casualties.

Towards Donetsk, there was intense shelling in Ocheretyne community: the night before, russians hit a kindergarten in Orlivka and in the morning they fired at Krasnohorivka and Vesele. The night and morning in Avdiivka were loud: the city suffered 4 artillery attacks and 2 Grad MRLs attacks. The extent of damage is being established.

Towards Horlivka, 1 person was injured in Ivanivske of Bakhmut community. Two buildings and an administrative building were damaged. Another building was damaged in Pleschiivka, Kostiantynivka community. There was constant shelling in Soledar community: Fedorivka, Paraskoviivka, Rozdolivka and the outskirts of Soledar were under attack and 3 buildings were damaged in Vasiukivka.

Towards Lysychansk, there was shelling of Siversk and Lyman communities: 4 buildings in Zakitne were damaged.

Based on the information provided by the head of Donetsk RMA, Pavlo Kyrylenko, yesterday russians injured 4 civilians: in Avdiivka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske and Khromove.  

Luhansk oblast

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in Novosvitlivka, more than 200 injured residents of the temporarily occupied territories, who were forcibly mobilized, are being treated in a local hospital. 

The Armed Forces StratCom informed that in Bilohorivka, a russian position was hit with FGM-148 Javelin, where a vehicle that probably brought ammunition was located at the time. Now the invaders have neither the position nor ammunition.

Among the injured in the Dnipro tragedy on January 14 are six residents of Sievierodonetsk, five of them are children. Their families rented an apartment in an apartment building. An 11-year-old girl and a 3-year-old boy suffered head wounds, a 15-year-old teenager has a fracture, an 8-year-old boy has an open forehead wound and a 10-year-old girl has multiple facial wounds. All are under medical supervision in a hospital in Dnipro. Anna Kotova, a 19-year-old student, has already been transported to Lviv and from there she will go abroad for treatment.

Yesterday, the Defence Forces units repelled enemy attacks in Bilohorivka. Towards Kupiansk, the enemy fired at Stelmakhivka. Towards Lyman, russians shelled Chervonopopivka, Dibrova, Nevske and  Novoiehorivka.

Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Haidai, reported that all counter-attacks that russians tried to organise in Luhansk oblast were repelled by our troops both in Bilohorivka and Svatove. Every day our military destroys 4-6 units of enemy heavy equipment. Heavy hostilities are near Dibrova towards Kreminna.

Referring to the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, in Novopskov, people are threatened with deprivation of parental rights for refusing to let their children go to school. Electricians were called from 2,500 km away to replace 450 meters of power line in Rovenky. After six months of occupation, wells for collecting water on the streets were opened in Lysychansk.

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

The President of the European Council Charles Michel arrives in Kyiv to meet with representatives of the Ukrainian authorities. During his visit to the capital, Charles Michel visited Ukrainian soldiers in one of rehabilitation centers.

The National Police has clarified the data on the aircraft accident: there were 10 people on board of the helicopter that crashed in Brovary on January 18, including three crew members and seven officials of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. As a result of the accident, 14 people died, including one child, a girl born in 2017.

After yesterday’s tragedy in Brovary, 16 people, six of them children, are currently hospitalized. Oleksiy Kuleba, the Head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, reported that the condition of all victims has been stabilized. According to him, the kindergarten is destroyed and will not resume its work by the end of the year. A residential building nearby was also damaged.

According to the Ukrinform correspondent, Bartosz Cichocki, the ambassador of Poland in Ukraine, paid tribute to the victims of the helicopter crash that fell on the territory of a kindergarten in Brovary. Cichocki arrived at the scene and laid flowers at the gate of the kindergarten.

IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi reported that the International Atomic Energy Agency launched a support and assistance mission in Chornobyl. Grossi wrote the following on Twitter: “Our experts will remain at all Ukrainian NPPs to provide key assistance in ensuring nuclear safety in these extremely difficult times.”

According to Oleksiy Kuleba, the Head of the Kyiv RMA, electricity deficit was reduced in Kyiv oblast. The last week has been very difficult for the oblast, but it is expected to return to a 4-by-4 schedule in the coming days.

First aid training for all interested persons will be conducted at 12 metro stations in Kyiv. According to the Kyiv City State Administration, experienced specialists and instructors of the Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine will teach required skills to Kyiv residents free of charge.

The Bucha City Council reported that Bucha residents received humanitarian aid from the Portuguese sister city of Cascais. Foreigners donated used warm clothes, underwear, children’s toys and 50 heaters.

Zhytomyr oblast

Zhytomyr oblast continues to build a deeply echeloned defense system on the border with Belarus. Additional defense lines are being built and fortifications are being set up. Vitaliy Bunechko, the head of the Zhytomyr Regional Military Association, reported that these fortifications together with minefields, anti-tank ditches and other physical obstacles in the areas of potential enemy advance routes will create a hellish trap for the occupying forces in the Ukrainian Polissia region.

A modern rocket was found by local residents near Plekhiv village of Cherniakhiv territorial community. EOD specialists of the oblast removed and disposed of the ordnance. In total, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion in Zhytomyr oblast, the State Emergency Service units have disposed of more than 4,000 explosive devices.

Sumy oblast

Dmytro Zhyvytskyi, the head of the Sumy Military Administration, reported that over the past day, the enemy attacked two communities in the oblast. Four mortar rounds were recorded on the territory of Krasnopillia community, and 15 more – in Shalyhine community.

The number of socially vulnerable citizens has increased in Sumy oblast according to the analysts of the Center for Social Research of Sumy State University who studied social stability of the oblast in the conditions of war. According to the study: 50% of families include a representative of a vulnerable group – unemployed, displaced persons, people in need of psychological support, raising minor children; 70% of families have internally displaced persons or refugees. 60% of families are experiencing economic difficulties, every second family has someone who has lost their job or is receiving a reduced salary.

Volunteers of the public organization “SBB-Til” in Sumy sent another batch of aid to the military deployed near Soledar. They produce mattresses, sleeping bags, raincoats, pouches, and knee pads for Ukrainian defenders. According to the head of the charitable organization, Valentyna Andriiasheva, the packages for the military are sent along the frontline, in the last 19 days alone, 23 thousand hryvnias were paid for postal services.

Norwegian residents donated about a million euros worth of aid to Sumy oblast: a cargo of more than 17 tons that include several dozen generators of various sizes and capacities. Generators should ensure the operation of medical institutions and infrastructure facilities in the oblast. Anna Tribis from Sumy, who moved to Norway 12 years ago and now works as a doctor in Bergen, was the co-organizer of the fundraising. A special fund, HMM-Haukeland Müller Mowinckel, has been created to help Ukraine.

Chernihiv oblast

Five powerful generators worth over USD 130K were delivered to support the critical infrastructure of Chernihiv oblast. From now on, an orphanage, a baby home and a hospital in Pryluky, as well as social and energy infrastructure facilities in Chernihiv, will be provided with heating in case of an emergency. This is the first batch of assistance under the UNOPS Ukraine project “Strengthening the Stability of Heating Supply to the Population of Ukraine”, funded by the Ukrainian Humanitarian Fund.

Novhorod-Siverskyi teaches how to save lives in combat conditions. Servicemen, rescuers, police and civilians will learn how to provide first aid using the MARCH protocol and how to work in a group. The scenarios of the tactical medicine training are being practiced. The participants do not know the scenario in advance, so they have to adapt to different conditions, select the right course of treatment and provide the treatment required.

Schools and kindergartens in Chernihiv oblast will receive water heaters donated by the International Organization for Migration. According to the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, the equipment has already arrived in Chernihiv, namely 330 50-liter boilers and 210 100-liter boilers.

Koryukivka Youth Center “Cube” launches another project “How to help people without burning out?”. The practical training involves engaging, supporting, and training volunteers and civic activists from the Siverskyi oblast. At the end of March, the Good Deeds Forum will be held, where volunteers and guests involved in the project will be inspired and encouraged by presentations of successfully implemented projects.

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

According to Head of the regional council Mykola Lukashuk, the enemy shelled Marhanets and Chervonohryhorivka communities in Nikopol region at night. The Russian occupiers fired about three dozen shells from heavy artillery and Hrad MRLS. One farm building was destroyed, two more residential buildings were damaged.

Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration Valentyn Reznichenko informed about 46 casualties as a result of the airstrike on a high-rise building in Dnipro. 11 people have not yet been identified, 11 more remain missing. 80 people were injured. 24 injured people are under medical supervision in city hospitals. Three are in grave condition, including a 9-year-old girl.

Vinnytsia  oblast

Vinnytsia City Council informed that Minister of Defense of Latvia Inara Murniece visited Vinnytsia. Together with Serhii Morhunov, she visited the scene of the tragedy on July 14, 2022, and honored the memory of the innocent people killed by russian missiles. In addition, the mayor told how, thanks to community collaboration and support of partners, it was possible to provide assistance to the victims and restore residential buildings damaged as a result of the russian terrorist attack.

Vinnytsia City Council informed that Vinnytsia sends another humanitarian shipment to de-occupied Balakliia. This time, volunteers, together with the city’s cultural community and Vinnytsia residents, collected 1,300 individual boxes for children, bicycles, mobile phones, jackets, generators and musical instruments for the residents of Balaklia. In addition, a concert program is to be presented in Balakliia in order to culturally bring the cities closer together.

The sports community of Vinnytsia oblast have collected 70,000 hryvnias to support our military since the beginning of the full-scale war. Using these funds, generators, tactical glasses, thermal clothing, walkie-talkies, a quadrocopter, equipment for rehabilitation at the center for the disabled, a dosimeter, shoes, etc. were purchased.

Kirovohrad oblast

Volodymyr Taboransky, deputy director of the regional department of education, informed that the russian military has damaged 11 educational institutions in Kirovohrad oblast since February 24.  According to him, the damage caused by shelling is estimated at 143 million hryvnias.

Poltava oblast

The head of the Poltava Regional Council Oleksandr Bilenkyi reported that 4 Starlink stations were handed over from the Poltava Regional Council to the front. 

Cherkasy oblast

The car for the needs of the military was purchased by employees of the vocational technical institute of Cherkasy oblast. 16 institutions participated in fundraising. The car was prepared for operation in combat conditions.

One of the volunteer communities in Zvenyhorodka, Cherkasy oblast, bought medicine and thermal clothing for the military.

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast

There were 153 cases of shelling in 17 settlements of Zaporizhia oblast on January 18. 28 reports of destruction were recorded.

Head of the Zaporizhzhia RMA Oleksandr Starukh reports that on the night of January 19, the rashists attacked Mateviivka united territorial community of the Zaporizhzhia region. A S-300 missile exploded in the field. An explosion at a local school and neighboring homes shattered windows. There were no casualties. 

The Center for National Resistance reports that in the temporarily occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia oblast, the underground continues to operate. According to the Central Intelligence, in the temporarily occupied village of Kyrylivka, partisans blew up a building that housed a group of russian soldiers. There are dead and wounded among occupiers.

According to Mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov, russian occupiers are acting according to the so-called ‘Donetsk scenario’, when after the occupation of Donetsk they shelled crowded places and propaganda media accused Ukraine of that. Thus, the occupiers want to disseminate panic and provoke the inhabitants of the occupied territories to hatred of Ukrainian troops. He called on all residents of the temporarily occupied territories not to believe the lies of the occupiers.

Mykolaiv oblast

Head of the Mykolaiv RMA Vitalii Kim says that Ochakiv community in Mykolaiv oblast continues to suffer from enemy shelling. On January 18, there were artillery strikes on the water area and the coastal strip of the community. There are no casualties.

According to the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service in Mykolaiv oblast, on January 18, an explosion sounded in the village of Zaichivske, Mykolaiv region. Between the cockpit and the semi-trailer of the DAF car, the cluster munition of the Urahan multiple launch rocket system detonated. As it later became known, the driver came under fire from the occupiers in Kherson oblast. Ammunition fell on the awning of the car. However, it did not immediately detonate. Near Zaichevske, it slipped off the semi-trailer and exploded. 

Odesa oblast

As of January 18, according to the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, sixteen enemy ships were on alert in the Black Sea, including six carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles, the total volley is about 44 units. Meanwhile, the largest indicator of the number of missiles in the Black Sea, which was recorded during a full-scale war, was 48.

The international humanitarian organization INTERSOS provides psychological assistance to Ukrainians who come to Odesa oblast from those oblasts where hostilities are taking place, including training for social workers, psychologists and even police officers. There are also several mobile teams providing medical care in the region. Odesa RMA and INTERSOS agreed on further cooperation.

Kherson oblast

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on January 18, towards Kherson, the areas of Antonivka, Berehove, Vesele, Fedorivka, Lvove and Kherson were shelled with MLRS and barrels. Civilians were injured.

The Kherson RMA, on January 19, russian artillery shelled residential areas of Kherson. Enemy fire caused a fire, windows were knocked out in houses. As a result of the shelling, a power line and a gas pipeline were damaged.

Russian occupation forces are looting in the temporarily occupied territories. Thus, in the settlements of Hornostaivka, Kairy, Bratoliubivka and Nyzhni Sirohozy of Kherson oblast, the occupiers, moving in groups of 10-15 people, search empty apartments of local residents and take out all household appliances and furniture.

Head of the Kherson RMA, Yaroslav Yanoshevych, reported on Telegram that Kherson received three more mobile shelters thanks to the Albert Tortoise Charitable Foundation, which purchased a mobile shelter installed in Dniprovskyi district of the city for Kherson residents. Nova Poshta also joined by building two concrete shelters in Suvorivskyi and Dniprovskyi districts of Kherson. Shelters are equipped with sockets and lighting, as well as comfortable places to sit. The walls reliably protect against shell fragments.

Latest news for today in the western regions of Ukraine

Volyn oblast

Head of the Volyn RMA, Yurii Pohuliaiko, visited northern communities of the oblast. Inspected the Ukrainian-belarusian border within the oblast. He visited all checkpoints and some command and observation posts of Ukrainian soldiers.

In Lutsk, key infrastructure and energy facilities are strengthened with foundation blocks to protect them from russian missile attacks.

Zakarpattia oblast

The Uzhhorod City Council adopted the program for providing material and technical assistance to the Uzhhorod Zonal Department of the Military Law and Order Service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine for 2023-2024. The total amount of financing of the Program from the city budget is UAH 2 million.

Uzhhorod received 20 generators, provided to schools, kindergartens, cultural and sports institutions, from the city of Corvallis (Oregon, America).

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

The dispatcher of Ukrenergo proved somewhat lower limits than the previous day. The night limit for the oblast is 199.4 MW, the daily is 265 MW.

In the RMA, a meeting with representatives of SOS Children’s Towns Ukraine charitable organization was held. They discussed social protection, support for IDPs and develping key aspects for further project implementation.

Lviv oblast

Lviv launched a program, under which businesses can receive financial assistance from the city to purchase electric generators. 50% of their cost are reimbursed. Since the year began, 79 entrepreneurs have applied for compensation. These are food establishments, grocery stores, hair salons, private educational institutions, etc.

The Polish-Ukrainian band TARAKA performed a charity concert within the framework of the Heart to Heart project. Musicians played for soldiers and medics.

Rivne oblast

Head of the Rivne RMA Vitalii Koval announced that everything is calm on the Ukrainian-belarusian border. He added that all 229 km of the border of Rivne oblast with the republic of belarus are controlled by Ukrainian military personnel.

Head of the Rivne RMA Vitalii Koval reported that Rivneoblvodokanal has 9 powerful generators. The total reserve power reaches 2.6 MW. Seven generators were donated by benefactors, two more were bought with regional funds. The company also acquired 10 less powerful ones.

As part of cooperation with the +380 CF, Rivne oblast received 35 sets of Starlink satellite equipment for temporary free use provided by the Institute of Telecommunications – National Research Institute, located in Warsaw.

Ternopil oblast

In the RMA a meeting with the leadership of the Public Council at the Ternopil RMA was held. They discussed directions of further cooperation.

In Ternopil oblast, the police will strengthen public order on Vodokhrescha (Epiphany holiday). In total, 300 law enforcement officers will be involved in public order protection.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

The Luhansk RMA reported that since January 20, qualified psychologists have started working on psychological support and psychosocial adaptation of IDPs in the humanitarian coordination center of Luhansk oblast in Khmelnytskyi.

Chernivtsi oblast

Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Serhii Shkarlet visited Bukovyna. He learned how educational services are provided in the oblast under martial law.

An exhibition of Edelveis is taking place in Chernivtsi, organized by the 10th separate mountain assault brigade. The program includes an exhibition of trophies, a shooting range, an interactive room, a children’s climbing wall, a field kitchen and a military cinema hall.

International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)

The European Parliament adopted a resolution on creating an International Tribunal for putin and the top leadership of russia for the crime of military aggression against Ukraine.

Head of USAID, Samantha Power, stated that the US will provide Ukraine with $125 million to restore the power grid after russian strikes.

Prime Minister of Estonia Kaya Kallas announced that her government has decided to send the largest package of heavy weapons aid to Ukraine. The total military aid to Ukraine is over 1% of Estonia’s GDP. The package includes howitzers, grenade launchers and ammunition.

Defense Minister Anita Anand announced that Canada will transfer 200 Senator APC armored vehicles to Ukraine.

Prime Minister of Sweden Ulf Kristersson announced that the government has approved the transfer of the Archer artillery system to Ukraine, as well as 50 Type 90 infantry fighting vehicles. This is the tenth package of military aid from Sweden to Ukraine.

Minister of Defense Inara Murniece reported that Latvia will send Stinger anti-aircraft missile complexes, helicopters, machine guns with ammunition and drones to Ukraine.

Head of Naftogaz, Oleksiy Chernyshov, announced that Ukraine agreed with its Western partners on additional volumes of gas for the heating season.

During the World Economic Forum in Davos the Diia Reels event was held. Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Mykhailo Fedorov and Vice-Chancellor for Digital Development of Estonia Luukas Kristian Ilves presented the Estonian state application mRiik, created on the basis of Ukrainian Diia.

The US plans to “repeat the success” of the Ukrainian Diia in other countries. According to USAID administrator Samantha Power, the project is at an initial stage. $650K has been allocated for feasibility studies in countries that have shown interest.

Canada summoned the russian ambassador in Ottawa to express his disapproval of the brutal attack on civilians in Dnipro.

German Finance Minister Christian Lindner said that the country has found new sources of energy. So it is no longer dependent on russia. He noted that Germany completely changed its energy infrastructure after russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Prime Minister Mateusz Moravetskyi announced that Poland hopes that European allies will send up to 100 battle tanks to Ukraine.

“For the war to end, russian aggression must fail. We will continue to support Ukraine for as long as it takes,” said German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
