It has been the 357th day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression.

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 6 pm:

Despite significant losses, the enemy does not give up its intentions to reach the administrative borders of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts, for which it significantly continues to focus its main efforts on conducting offensive operations towards Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Shakhtarsk.

The enemy inflicted 17 airstrikes and 28 MLRS attacks on civilian infrastructure of Pokrovsk, Donetsk oblast and Kherson oblast. There are civilian casualties, a residential multi-storey building was almost destroyed and a hospital in Beryslav was shelled again.

There remains a threat of further russian air and missile strikes throughout Ukraine.

Towards Volyn, Polissia, Siversk and Sloboda, there were no signs of offensive enemy groups forms. Certain units of the Armed Forces of the republic of belarus and the Armed Forces of the russian federation continue to perform tasks in the border areas with Ukraine. At the training grounds of the Republic of Belarus, measures of combat training of russian troops continue. At the same time, the enemy does not stop mortar and artillery shelling of the positions of our units, as well as settlements near the contact line. The settlements of Yanzhulivka, Chernihiv oblast, Rozhkovychi, Tovstodubovo, Bilokopytovo, Vovkivka, Volfyne and Basivka of Sumy oblast and Hraniv, Krasne, Vovchansk, Duzhanka, Duzhanka, Rublene, Krasne Pershe, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna and Kreidianka in Kharkiv oblast were subjected to enemy fire attack. Towards Avdiivka and Shakhtarsk, 14 settlements, including Vodiane, Pervomaiske, Nevelske, Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Pobeda, Mykilske, Vuhledar, Novoukrainka, Prechistivka and Zolota Nyva, Donetsk region, came under tank, mortar and artillery shelling.

Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksii Reznikov says that it may take several months to de-occupy the territory. «…It takes time. We are talking about a few months when we will be fully prepared. And then, by decision of the General Staff, certain events will take place,” he said.

US State Department Spokesman Ned Price, referring to the official report of the Conflict Observatory, says that russia used 43 camps to forcibly resettle and deport thousands of Ukrainian children. He noted that in many cases, Russia allegedly ‘temporarily’ evacuated children from Ukraine under the guise of free summer camps, and then refused to return the children and cut off all contacts with their families.
