The russian occupation army is panicking and preparing for a counteroffensive by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. They are hastily trying to dig trenches and prepare positions for defense. In addition, the invaders are cutting down Melitopol forestry and taking wood to equip defensive positions and build fortifications.

Russian soldiers have intensified terrorizing the local population in the temporarily occupied Enerhodar in Zaporizhzhia oblast in anticipation of a Ukrainian counteroffensive.

Putin’s terrorists have increased the area of mined areas near the city and are increasingly resorting to looting. If until now only the coastline and the territory around the perimeter of the nuclear power plant were mined, they have now moved on to mining the surrounding villages, forest belts, and plantations. They have intensified repressive measures against local residents: citizens are being forced to take russian passports by any means necessary.

The situation in the temporarily occupied Enerhodar is not improving. The humanitarian situation in the city is particularly difficult. Since September last year, the russian invaders have not allowed a single humanitarian cargo to enter the temporarily occupied territory. The situation with medicines is almost critical. The citizens live in terrible conditions. Anyone who encounters the occupiers on the street and does not have a russian passport is at risk of being forced to go to the basement.

The situation at ZNPP is becoming increasingly tense. The russian occupiers are fortifying the plant and, by all indications, preparing it for combat. A training ground has been set up near the plant. Sandbags have been placed all over the plant, in front of the entrance, and the territory is being fenced off. The occupiers also closed the entrance to the first checkpoint and dug deep trenches.

Russian aircraft activity in the south of Ukraine has somewhat decreased. In the Black Sea, the russian naval grouping currently consists of eight units, including one missile carrier with four “calibers” on board. At the same time, due to the storm, the danger of mines in the sea has increased, which is also a great threat to the population of the region.
