Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 4 pm:
On November 7, there were 138 combat engagements.
The enemy shelled the border settlements of Bobylivka, Novovasylivka, Hirky, Bachivsk, Brusky and Ulanove in the Sumy oblast with artillery.
Towards Northern Sloboda and Kursk, there were five combat engagements, including four still ongoing. The enemy launched four airstrikes, dropping ten guided bombs, and carried out 99 shelling attacks, including four from multiple launch rocket systems.
Towards Southern Sloboda, the Defence Forces repelled two enemy attacks. russian troops are attempting to advance in the areas of Vovchansk, Boholivka and Kamianka.Three more combat engagements are still ongoing.
Towards Kupiansk, the aggressor launched seven assaults near Kupiansk, Pishchane, Borivska Andriivka and Petropavlivka. Three battles are still ongoing.
Towards Lyman, the enemy made five attempts to break through Ukrainian defences near Kolodiazi, Novoselivka and Korovii Yar.
Towards Sloviansk, the Defence Forces repelled 12 enemy attacks near Yampil, Dronivka, Serebrianka, Hryhorivka and Zvanivka.
Towards Kramatorsk, Ukrainian troops repelled two enemy attacks near Mankivka. Two battles are currently ongoing near Stupochky.
Towards Kostiantynivka, the aggressor launched 18 assaults near Pleshchiivka, Rusyn Yar, Sofiivka and Illinivka. Battles are currently ongoing in three locations.
Towards Pokrovsk, the enemy made 45 attempts to dislodge Ukrainian defenders from their positions near Shakhove, Fedorivka, Nykanorivka, Chervonyi Lyman, Rodynske, Chervonyi Yar, Hrodivka, Dachenske, Novohrodivka, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Pishchane, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Novomykolaivka, Filiia, Novopavlivka and Kucheriv Yar. The Defence Forces are absorbing the enemy’s offensive and have already repelled 39 attacks, with 6 still ongoing.
Towards Oleksandrivka, the enemy attempted to break through Ukrainian defences near Verbove, Sichneve, Orestopil, Pavlivka, Novohryhorivka, Yehorivka, Novovasylivske, Rybne, Novomykolaivka and Ternuvate. Ukrainian defenders have repelled 6 enemy assaults; five battles are still ongoing.
No offensive actions by the enemy were recorded towards Huliaipole and Orikhiv. However the settlements of Yablukove, Rivnopillia, Chervone, Zaliznychne, Novoandriivka and Preobrazhenka came under enemy airstrikes.
Towards Kherson, Ukrainian troops repelled two enemy attacks near the Antonivka Road Bridge.
During the night of November 7, Russia launched an attack on Ukrainian territory using 128 strike UAVs, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported. A total of 94 drones were successfully disabled.
A program to strengthen air defense in frontline regions is currently being developed, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced. He also stated that serial production of Ukrainian analogues of Chinese Mavic drones has been launched.
Recent war events in the east of Ukraine
Kharkiv oblast
There were 169 combat clashes in the oblast.
▪️ Towards Southern Sloboda, Ukrainian troops stopped 12 enemy attacks in the vicinity of Vovchansk, Kamianka and towards Dvorichanske.
▪️ Towards Kupiansk, there were 12 attacks. Ukrainian defenders repelled enemy assault actions towards the settlements of Petropavlivka, Pishchane and Hlushkivka.
the city of Kharkiv and 11 settlements of Kharkiv oblast were subjected to enemy attacks.
▪️ As a result of the shelling, 4 people were injured.
In the village of Kalynove, Borova community, a 35-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man were injured; in the village of Zahryzove, Borova community, a 60-year-old man was injured; in the village of Putnykove, Dvorichanske community, a 24-year-old man was injured.
Also, doctors provided assistance to a 68-year-old woman who was injured as a result of shelling in the village of Bilyi Kolodiaz on October 29.
The enemy actively used various types of weapons:
▪️27 UAVs of the Geran-2 type;
▪️1 UAV of the Molniya type;
▪️1 FPV drone;
▪️31 UAVs (type to be determined).
Civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged and destroyed:
▪️In Bohodukhiv region, a private house, 3 outbuildings, and a car were damaged (Makariv village);
▪️In Kupiansk region, an apartment building (Prykolotne village), a private house (Pidseredne village) were damaged;
▪️In Izyum region, 2 cars (Kalynove village), and railway infrastructure (Barvinkove city) were damaged;
▪️In Lozova region, railway infrastructure was damaged (village Nove);
▪️In Chuhuiv region, two educational institutions, a post office, a service station, 40 cars, 2 trucks, a minibus, as well as buildings, boxes, transport, and an administrative building on the territory of a municipal enterprise (city of Chuhuyiv) were damaged.
💡In Barvinkivska community, power supply was restored for 6.1 thousand consumers, another 2.1 thousand consumers are temporarily without power. Work is ongoing.
➡️ The transit evacuation point in Lozova accepted 159 people. 48 people remain.
A total of 11,061 people have been registered at the Point since the start of work.
Donetsk oblast
Three people injured in Donetsk oblast as a result of russian attacks.
On November 6, there were 2,307 enemy strikes on the front line and residential areas.
6 settlements were under fire: the cities of Druzhkivka, Kostiantynivka, Kramatorsk, Sloviansk, the village of Malotaranivka, the village of Zolotyi Kolodiaz.
7 civilian objects were destroyed, including 4 residential buildings.
▪️In Kostiantynivka, a civilian was injured and a car was damaged as a result of an FPV drone hit
▪️In Malotaranivka, Kramatorsk community, russians hit a civilian shuttle bus with an FPV drone – two people were injured.
▪️In Kramatorsk, the occupiers hit a Molniya-2 UAV – three private houses were damaged.
▪️The enemy attacked Slaviansk with three drones of the Granat-4 and Geran-2 types – a private house was damaged.
▪️In Druzhkivka, an FPV drone damaged a garbage truck.
Luhansk oblast
Towards Sloviansk, the invaders carried out 14 attacks. The enemy was slightly less active towards Lyman – nine attacks. The enemy stormed near Hrekivka on Novoiehorivka. The invaders fired eight times with cannon artillery. They launched 10 drones.
In the so-called “lpr”, the invaders are forcing teachers to attend courses on assembling drones in their free time. The invaders see the mentioned initiative as both training additional labor for the russian defense complex and, at the same time, forming a base for teaching children to assemble drones.
The many-month delay in salaries in the occupied Luhansk oblast is becoming a common thing. The invaders have not offered new jobs with decent wages over the years. Therefore, the population is holding on to what they have. For example, employees of Lutuhynsk Scientific and Production Rolling Mill have not received any money since March and are being forced to go on unpaid leave.
What is happening now in the north of Ukraine
Kyiv oblast
On 6 November, the Medical Centre Orthotics & Prosthetics – Ukraine, an international orthotics and prosthetics centre, was officially opened in Kyiv. It will provide assistance to military personnel and civilians who have lost limbs. The MCOP centre was founded in the United States in 2002 and has been manufacturing and fitting modern prostheses for over 20 years. Over the past three years, it has been providing prosthetics to Ukrainian soldiers who lost limbs during the war with russia.
The RMA reported that a new veterans’ hub has been opened in Myronivka, Kyiv Oblast. Veterans and their family members will be able to receive psychological, legal, and social assistance, find new opportunities for work, education, and adaptation to peaceful life. The Myronivka community includes over 1,200 veterans.
There are 12 veteran spaces operating in various communities of the oblast. Five more are planned to open by the end of 2025. Every day, 228 specialists assist veterans and their families with issues related to adaptation, documents, benefits, and employment. Funds have been allocated from the regional budget to purchase 17 specialised vehicles to transport veterans, including those with limited mobility.
Bucha City Council reported that a therapeutic garden was planted near the rehabilitation department of Bucha Consultative and Diagnostic Centre. In this space, people will be able to regain their strength during rehabilitation, touch nature and feel their own inner strength. The rehabilitation garden was planted by doctors together with volunteers and veterans who are undergoing treatment there.
Several hundred relatives of Ukrainian soldiers, which are being held captive in russia or are considered missing in action, gathered on Independence Square in Kyiv. The event was called ‘Voice of Silence’.
Zhytomyr oblast
The city council reported that in Zhytomyr the renovation of apartments for socially vulnerable groups has been completed. In the near future, seven Ukrainian families previously forced to leave their homes due to the war will receive the keys to their new homes. This was made possible thanks to the support of the German government and the project ‘Strengthening the Resilience of Cities in the Field of Life Support for Urban Communities in Ukraine (SUR)’ and is being implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH”.
Sumy oblast
On the morning of 7 November the General Staff reported that towards Northern Sloboda and Kursk, russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions ten times. The enemy launched four airstrikes, dropped ten guided aerial bombs, and carried out 189 attacks, including 14 using multiple rocket launch systems.
Mykola Noha, Head of Shostka community, said that during the night of 6–7 November, russia carried out an airstrike on Shostka community, damaging an infrastructure facility and 12 residential buildings. No injuries were reported. As of 12:30pm, parts of the community remained without power. According to the State Emergency Service of Sumy oblast, the strike caused a fire in a warehouse building.
Oleh Hryhorov, Head of the Regional Military Administration, informed that in the evening of 6 November, a drone hit a road in Kovpakivka district of Sumy. No one was injured, but a car was damaged.
In Nova Slobidka community, a 74-year-old woman was injured in a drone strike and hospitalised in moderate condition.
In Seredyna-Buda community, where a drone struck a civilian vehicle, two passengers — a 41-year-old woman and her 14-year-old son — were injured. The driver died in hospital.
Between the morning of 6 November and the morning of 7 November, russian forces carried out 52 attacks on 39 settlements across 13 territorial communities in the oblast. The highest number of strikes was recorded in Sumy, Shostka, and Konotop regions. The enemy actively used guided aerial bombs (over 10 strikes), UAVs (up to 10 strikes), multiple rocket launchers (20 strikes), and FPV drones. The air raid alert in the oblast lasted 17 hours and 46 minutes during the day.
Civil infrastructure facilities were damaged and destroyed:
- In Mykolaivka rural community, a private house was damaged;
- In Seredyna-Buda community, a car was damaged;
- In Krasnopillia community, a private house and an outbuilding were damaged;
- In Sumy community, an outbuilding, a civil infrastructure facility, a car, and road pavement were damaged;
- In Esman community, a truck was damaged;
- In Verkhnia Syrovatka community, two outbuildings and a cultural centre building were damaged;
- In Popivka community, a civil infrastructure facility was damaged;
- In Shostka community, a non-residential building was damaged.
During the day, 25 people were evacuated from border communities through the joint efforts of local authorities, the State Emergency Service, the National Police, and public organisations.
Chernihiv oblast
Oleksandr Seliverstov, Head of the Novhorod-Siverskyi District Military Administration, reported that on 7 November, russian forces attacked a settlement in Semenivka community by six guided aerial bombs. According to him, no casualties were reported.
Viacheslav Chaus, Head of Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, wrote on his Facebook page that in the morning of 7 November, the russian army struck energy and transport infrastructure in Horodnia and Bakhmach communities.
The Department for Civil Protection and Defence Work of Chernihiv Regional Military Administration informed that during the day on 6 November, a russian drone strike damaged a tractor in Novhorod-Siverskyi region. The explosion occurred on the territory of an agricultural enterprise hit by a Lancet-type UAV.
According to Chernihiv Border Detachment, throughout 6 November, russian forces attacked three border communities in Chernihiv oblast — Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka, and Snovsk. The enemy carried out mortar shelling (3 explosions) and artillery fire (8 explosions), launched unguided rockets (10 explosions), a Gerbera-type UAV (1 explosion), FPV drones (10 explosions), and dropped an explosive device from a UAV (1 explosion). Ten settlements came under fire.
The Regional Military Administration informed that since the start of russia’s full-scale invasion, 21 people working in cultural institutions in Chernihiv oblast have been killed in the war. Among them were employees of Hryhorii Galagan Chernihiv Regional Art Museum, Sosnytsia and Mena Local History Museums, Hannyna Pustyn and Kachanivka reserves, as well as actors and technical staff from theatres, the philharmonic, and other cultural institutions. From 6 November, an exhibition dedicated to their memory has been on display at Vasyl Tarnovsky Chernihiv Regional Historical Museum.
Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine
Dnipropetrovsk oblast
Mykola Lukashuk, Head of the Regional Council, said that from evening until morning, the enemy shelled the regional centre and Marhanets community by artillery and drones. Fires broke out, damaging two private houses and a power line. According to updated information, a 60-year-old man was injured in yesterday’s attack on Tomakivka community.
In Nikopol region, the enemy attacked the regional centre, as well as Marhanets, Myrove, and Pokrovske communities, using artillery, multiple rocket launchers, and drones throughout the day. As a result of the morning strikes on Nikopol, three people were injured — men aged 57 and 47, and a 43-year-old woman. A fire broke out, damaging a private house, an outbuilding, and a power line.
Kirovohrad oblast
In Nova Ukrainka town, Kirovohrad oblast, a rally was held in support of missing and captured Ukrainian soldiers.
Poltava oblast
Poltava Veteran Centre introduced a free transport service for persons with disabilities resulting from their military service in defence of Ukraine.
Cherkasy oblast
In Polianetske village, Uman region, an Alley of Glory named “Warriors of Light” was opened to honour seven fallen defenders from the community who died in the russian–Ukrainian war.
Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine
Zaporizhzhia oblast
On 7 November, russian forces attacked Orikhiv with air bombs. As a result of the shelling, a 60-year-old utility enterprise employee was killed, and two other people were injured.
russian troops attacked the frontline town of Huliaipole. According to Ivan Fedorov, Head of the RMAn, the russians struck a car with an FPV drone, injuring a 48-year-old man.
On 7 November, russian forces also attacked railway infrastructure.Trains to Zaporizhzhia are running with delays of up to five hours.
On 6 November, the occupiers launched 750 attacks on 17 settlements in Zaporizhzhia oblast. russian troops launched nine airstrikes on Zaporizhzhia, Ternuvate, Kanterivka, and Dobropillia. 498 drones of various types (mostly FPV) attacked Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Stepove, Huliaipole, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, Novomykolaivka, Shcherbaky, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Bilohiria, and Nove. Five MLRS attacks hit Novoandriivka, Novomykolaivka, and Nove. There were 238 artillery strikes on Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Stepove, Huliaipole, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, Novomykolaivka, Shcherbaky, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Preobrazhenka, Bilohiria, and Nove. Thirty-five reports were received about damaged houses, infrastructure facilities, and vehicles.
On 6 November, russian forces struck Zaporizhzhia region, destroying a residential building and a store. One person was killed.
On 6 November, Ukraine’s Defense Forces repelled five russian attacks towards Hulyaipole.
Mykolaiv oblast
On 6 November, the enemy attacked Ochakiv community seven times with FPV drones. There were no casualties.
Odesa oblast
During the night of 7 November, the region suffered another enemy drone attack. Energy infrastructure, warehouse facilities and an administrative building were damaged. All fires were promptly extinguished by rescuers.
According to the press service of the South Air Command, on the night of 7 November, air defense forces managed to shoot down 12 strike drones of the Shahed, Gerbera, and other types. Additionally, seven strike drones were destroyed during the day on 6 November.
Kherson oblast
On 7 November, at approximately 09:30, russian forces shelled Dniprovskyi district of Kherson. As a result of this attack, a 53-year-old man sustained fatal injuries.
At noon, russian troops shelled the bus station in Novovorontsovka. One person was killed, and two others were injured.
Around 13:00, russian occupiers attacked Dniprovskyi district of Kherson with a drone. A 68-year-old man suffered a blast injury and multiple shrapnel wounds.
A resident of Bilozerka sought medical help after being injured around 10:00 today due to russian shelling. She was diagnosed with a blast injury and a concussion.
Another man sought medical attention after being attacked by a drone the previous evening in Dniprovskyi district of Kherson. The 35-year-old Kherson resident sustained a blast injury and a shrapnel wound to the neck.
On 6 November, the russian forces attacked Antonivka, Sadove, Komyshany, Inzhenerne, Prydniprovske, Bilozerka, Stanislav, Sofiivka, Kizomys, Berehove, Veletenske, Shyroka Balka, Ivanivka, Mykilske, Novotiahynka, Poniativka, Tokarivka, Beryslav, Burhunka, Havrylivka, Dudchany, Monastyrske, Novooleksandrivka, Odradokamianka, Olhivka, Respublikanyets, Tiahynka, Chervonyi Maiak, Vesele, and the city of Kherson. As a result of the attacks, five apartment buildings, ten private houses, administrative buildings, an outbuilding, private vehicles, a bus, and a gas pipeline were damaged. Ten people were injured due to russian aggression, including one child.
As of 16:00 on 6 November, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled two enemy attacks near the Antonivskyi Bridge towards Kherson.

Volyn oblast
The 14th Separate Mechanized Brigade receive gasoline generators, an EcoFlow charging station, an antenna amplifier, medicines, and turnstiles worth EUR 2,500 from partners from Obertshausen (Germany).
Zakarpattia oblast
There are currently 23,842 military personnel in the oblast who have retired from the army, of whom 1,071 men and 16 women have disabilities. The region operates a communal institution, the Veterans’ Space VDOMA, where veterans help each other on an equal footing. The main center is located in Uzhhorod.
Ivano-Frankivsk oblast
The 3rd Battalion “Svoboda”, 4 brigades of the National Guard “Rubizh” received 50 FPV drones and 3 modern Matris 4T copters from Ivano-Frankivsk community.
Lviv oblast
In the village of Koniukhiv, Hrabovets-Dulibiv community, almost UAH 10,000 were raised tothe Armed Forces of Ukraine. In the village of Ternopillia, Trostyanets community, a charity event was held in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which raised over UAH 40,000.
The With Ukraine in the Heart charity event was held at Shepilska recreation complex. Over UAH 735,000 were raised. All funds will be directed to the Angels of the Armed Forces of Ukraine fund, and then to the needs of the defenders.
In Mykolaiv, Novorozdil, Rozvadiv and Trostyanets communities, during the Strength in Unity charity bike ride, funds were raised that will be sent to the 710th Separate Security Brigade of the State Special Transport Service of the Ministry of Defense.
Rivne oblast
Local budgets financed UAH 987.6m to support the Security and Defense Forces, veterans, and internally displaced persons this year. Of this, UAH 223.1m was financed by the regional budget.
Ternopil oblast
The 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo received an electronic warfare (EW) device from Ternopil community.
Khmelnytskyi oblast
The RMA held the 3rd Volunteer Breakfast. The event brought together everyone who helps: from local charitable organizations to all-Ukrainian foundations. This time, the Deputy Minister of Social Policy, Family and Unity of Ukraine Anatolii Komirny and Kateryna Osadcha joined the breakfast.
Chernivtsi oblast
A meeting with families of prisoners of war and missing persons took place in Chernivtsi. The event was organized by the Representation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Commissioner for Human Rights in Chernivtsi oblast together with Chernivtsi City Council, in particular the Department of Social Policy.
International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)
The European Commission has banned the issuance of multiple-entry visas to russians. This means that russian citizens will no longer be able to obtain multiple-entry Schengen visas and will have to apply for a new single-entry visa each time they plan to travel to the EU. This will allow for enhanced vetting of Russian applicants and reduce any potential security risks for Europeans.
