Donetsk oblast

Serhii Bratchuk, military expert, spokesman for the public organization “Ukrainian Volunteer Army”, says that russian troops are trying to break through to the northern part of Pokrovsk, as well as continue their way to the settlement of Hryshyne, because this is the main logistical road for Pokrovsk-Myrnohrad agglomeration.

Kostiantyn Melnikov, Spokesman for the 24th Motorized Rifle Brigade, reports that Ukrainian forces are stopping the attacks of russian troops on Chasiv Yar. The russian army uses small groups and armored vehicles, but suffers losses. Prisoners of war talk about chaotic orders from the russian command.

Taras Myshak, Senior Officer of the communications department of the 59th Motorized Rifle Brigade, says that the russian army storms towards Pokrovsk daily in small groups, using thick fog. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are holding back russian attempts to break through to Dnipropetrovsk oblast. The situation is complicated by thick fog, which reduces the effectiveness of drone reconnaissance and allows the enemy to approach positions unnoticed. Recently, russians took advantage of this factor and broke into Novopavlivka, where Ukrainian forces conducted a “mopping-up”, eliminated russian military personnel and took two occupiers prisoner.

The 33rd Motorized Rifle Brigade reported that in the vicinity of the village of Volodymyrivka in Donetsk oblast, russian infantry, trying to hide from fire control, used a destroyed bridge as cover. It was there that 15 occupiers were eliminated and russian equipment was destroyed during the fighting.

In most directions, the russian military attacked less in the east than in the past day. In particular, towards Pokrovsk, Ukrainian defenders stopped 76 assaults, towards Lyman the russian army attacked 23 times.

TowardsKostiantynivka, russian troops carried out 25 attacks near Oleksandro-Shultyne, Shcherbynivka, Pleshchiivka, Yablunivka, Rusyn Yar and towards Sofiivka.

29 civilian objects were destroyed, including 16 residential buildings.

Two civilians were killed as a result of enemy strikes in Lyman.

russians hit Sloviansk with two GAB-500 bombs – one person was injured. 8 private houses, a cafe, an administrative building, and 4 cars were destroyed.

At about 5:00 p.m., the russian army fired on Kramatorsk with the Smerch multiple launch rocket system. A fire broke out in one of the markets. 30 shopping pavilions burned down, the facade of an apartment building and communication networks were damaged; a local resident was injured. It also became known that at 23:34 the russian army hit the Molniya-2 UAV in the central part of the city, as a result of which the facade of a high-rise building and a shopping center were damaged. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties.

In Mykolaivka, an enemy FPV drone damaged an administrative building.

Luhansk oblast

russian troops carried out 55 attacks towards Lyman and Sloviansk, 38 of them towards Lyman. In Luhansk oblast, the enemy stormed near Hrekivka and Tverdokhlibove, actively using artillery.

From January 1, 2026, the occupation authorities plan to block cards issued by the so-called “state bank of the lpr”. Recipients of pensions and social payments are given only a month to replace their cards, despite the fact that many expected the expiration date of theirs.

The leader of the “lpr” has determined an uneven schedule for his “public receptions”: if in some of the occupied cities the reception will be held several times a week, then in Kreminna and Siverskodonetsk – only once a month. This indicates not security considerations, but the lack of interest of the occupation administration in the problems of local residents.
