It has been the 1375  th day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression. 

 

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 4 pm:   

On 29 November, the total number of combat clashes along the entire front line was 157.

Towards Northern Sloboda and Kursk, the enemy launched four airstrikes, dropping six guided bombs, and also carried out 60 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements, including three from multiple launch rocket systems.

Towards Southern Sloboda, the enemy attacked the positions of the Defense Forces six times near the settlements of Vovchansk, Vovchanski Khutory, Kolodiazne and towards Kutkivka, two combat clashes are ongoing.

Towards Kupiansk, Ukrainian defenders repelled seven enemy offensive actions near the settlements of Pishchane, Kolisnykivka, Novoplatonivka and towards Nova Kruhliakivka, Hlushkivka and Petropavlivka. Another combat clash is ongoing.

Towards Lyman, the aggressor attacked 17 times in the vicinity of the settlements of Novoiehorivka, Kopanky, Novovodiane, Seredne, Karpivka, Derylove, Novoselivka, Kolodiazi, Zarichne and towards Stepove. Currently, 11 combat clashes are ongoing.

Towards Slaviansk, Ukrainian defenders repelled five out of seven enemy attempts to advance in the vicinity of the settlements of Yampil and Serebrianka. Fighting is ongoing.

Towards Kramatorsk, the Defense Forces stopped four enemy attacks near Chasiv Yar, Novomarkove and Vasiukivka.

Towards Kostiantynivka, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian troops in the vicinity of Oleksandro-Shultyne, Shcherbynivka, Pleshchiivka, Yablunivka, Rusyn Yar and towards Sofiivka. The Defense Forces successfully repelled 14 enemy attacks, two more combat clashes are still ongoing.

Towards Pokrovsk, the enemy attacked 56 times in the vicinity of Volodymyrivka, Maiak, Chervonyi Lyman, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Novoekonomichne, Pokrovsk, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Novoserhiivka and Filiia. Ten combat engagements are ongoing so far.

Towards Oleksandrivka, Ukrainian defenders repelled 24 enemy attacks in the vicinity of the settlements of Zelenyi Hai, Tovste, Sosnivka, Oleksandrivka, Sichneve, Vyshneve, Pryvillia and Rybne. Three combat engagements are currently ongoing.

Towards Huliaipole, there were ten combat engagements. The occupiers advanced in the vicinity of the settlements of Pryvilne, Solodke and towards Huliaipole.

Towards Orikhiv, the enemy carried out seven offensive actions near Stepnohirsk, Stepve and towards Mala Tokmachka and Novoandreivka.

There are currently no clashes towards Kherson.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy says that on the night and morning of November 29, russia launched about 600 drones and 36 missiles into the territory of Ukraine. As a result, 3 people were killed.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy states that in the coming days, it is realistic to finalize steps with the American side towards a dignified end to the war. 

Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

Kharkiv oblast

The General Staff reported that At 22:00, Ukrainian soldiers repelled nine attacks near the settlements of Vovchansk, Prylipka, Vovchanski Khutory, Kolodyazne and in the direction of Kutkivka in the South Slobozhanskyi direction.

In the Kupiansk direction, the russian federation attempted 11 times to dislodge Ukrainian units from their positions near the settlements of Pishchane, Kolisnykivka, Novoplatonivka, and in the direction of Nova Kruhlyakivka, Hlushevka, and Petropavlivka.

Over the past day, 311 combat clashes were recorded.

In the South Slobozhansky direction, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders ten times in the areas of Vovchansk, Synelnykove, Lyman, and in the direction of Dvorichansky and Kolodyazne.  

Yesterday, 11 combat clashes took place in the Kupiansk direction. Our defenders stopped the enemy’s assault operations in the areas of Pishchane, Kupiansk, Petropavlivka, and Kruglyakivka.

Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi reported following his trip to Kharkiv oblast that In Kupiansk, Ukrainian troops continue to conduct both defensive and search-and-strike operations to stabilise the situation. He says that the fighting in the Kupiansk direction is highly dynamic.

According to the regional prosecutor’s office, a dog was killed as a result of a drone attack on Bashylivka in the Blyznyukivska community.

In the morning, the enemy attacked the Blyznykivska community. As a result of strikes by Geran-2 UAVs in the village of Bashylivka, a private house and a farm building were damaged. Women aged 67, 65 and 73 suffered acute stress reactions. Medical personnel provided the victims with all necessary assistance.

Over the past day, the city of Kharkiv and five settlements in Kharkiv oblast were subjected to enemy strikes. As a result of the shelling, two people were killed and two injured.

In the village of Shestakove, Starosaltivska community, a 33-year-old man was killed, a 52-year-old and 61-year-old women injured; in the village of Karaichne, Vovchanska community, a 49-year-old man was killed.

The enemy attacked the Nemyshlyanskyi district of Kharkiv with two KABs. 

The enemy actively used various types of weapons in Kharkiv oblast: 

▪️10 KABs;

▪️2 FPV drones;

▪️19 UAVs (type to be determined).

Civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged and destroyed:

▪️in the city of Kharkiv, two apartment buildings, an administrative building, and a car were damaged;

▪️in the Kupianskyi district, an apartment building (in the village of Kivsharivka) was damaged; 

▪️in the Chuhuiv district, 8 private houses, 5 farm buildings, 4 cars (village of Shestakove), 9 private houses, and a cultural centre (village of Kyrylivka) were damaged.

According to the press service of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, in Kharkiv, damage was recorded on the territory of one of the city cemeteries in the Saltivsky district after russian air strikes on the city on the evening of 28 November. Monuments, graves and road surfaces were damaged.

In Kharkiv, more than 200,000 consumers remain without heat supply as a result of strikes on critical infrastructure. Minister of Community and Territorial Development Oleksiy Kuleba informed that Repair crews continue to eliminate the consequences of the attacks.

In Kharkiv oblast, under the “e-Restoration” programme, certificate holders have purchased about four and a half thousand homes — three thousand apartments and one and a half thousand private houses. According to Gennady Chekunov, director of the regional department of urban development and architecture, most apartments are being purchased in Kharkiv, Izyum, Balakliya and Chuhuiv.

The transit evacuation point in Lozova received 70 people in one day. Twenty-one people remain. A total of 13,730 people have been registered at the point since it began operating.

On 28 November, russian troops launched 1,393 hostile strikes along the front line and residential areas.

Four settlements came under fire: the cities of Kramatorsk and Sloviansk, the villages of Bilbasivka and Oleksandrivka.

Sixty-nine civilian objects were destroyed, including 46 residential buildings.

The russians attacked Oleksandrivka with six Geran-2 UAVs, injuring three civilians and damaging eight private houses, an administrative building, two boiler rooms, a non-residential building, and seven vehicles.

The enemy struck Bilbasivka with two Geran-2 UAVs, injuring one person and damaging 21 private houses.

The russia dropped five KAB-250 bombs on Sloviansk, destroying one apartment building and 13 private houses, an administrative building, an educational institution, a dormitory, and seven civilian vehicles.

In Kramatorsk, two private houses were damaged by a Geran-2 UAV strike.

In addition, information has been confirmed about a civilian who was wounded in Rubtsy, Lyman community, as a result of enemy shelling on 27 November.

Luhansk oblast

The russian troops carried out 55 attacks in the Lyman and Sloviansk directions over the past day, with 38 of them in Lyman direction. In Luhansk oblast, the enemy stormed the areas of Hrekivka and near Tverdokhlibove, actively using artillery.

From 1 January 2026, the occupant authorities plan to block cards issued by the so-called “LNR State Bank”. Pensioners and social benefit recipients are being given only a month to replace their cards, even though many were expecting their cards to expire.

The head of the “LNR” has set an uneven schedule for his “public reception offices”: while some occupied cities will hold receptions several times a week, Kreminna and Sieverskodonetsk will only hold them once a month. This is not due to security concerns, but rather the occupation administration’s lack of interest in the problems of local residents.

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

On the night and morning of November 29, dozens of locations in the capital and the region came under enemy fire. As a result of the shelling, more than 500 thousand consumers in Kyiv and more than 100 thousand in the oblast were left without electricity.

As a result of the russian attack in Kyiv, 2 people were killed, 38 people injured, including one child. 15 victims are in hospitals. Specialists of the State Emergency Service rescued about 40 people. As of 12:00, all fires that arose in Kyiv as a result of the shelling were eliminated. Headquarters for assistance to the victims were deployed.

In the capital, the air alert from November 28 to 29 was the longest since the beginning of the full-scale russian invasion – 10 hours and 31 minutes. The russian military attacked Kyiv in several waves.

According to the CMA, as a result of the combined attack of the russian federation on the residential sector, more than 17 locations in 7 districts of Kyiv were damaged. The SES, police and utility workers are working on the ground. Representatives of more than 20 organizations and foundations are involved in helping people.

In Solomianskyi district, a 25-story residential building was damaged at the level of floors 1-3. There was a fire with the destruction of the facade; at another location in the district, the roof of a 17-story residential building was damaged; UAV debris fell near a residential building in the private sector.

In Darnytskyi district, there was destruction in the courtyard of a 9-story reinforced concrete building, a fire on the balconies of floors 5-7; in another location, cars were burning in the parking lot near the shopping center; debris fell on the roof of a 2-story building.

In Shevchenkivskyi district, a 14-story residential building was damaged at the level of floors 4-5. The fire was quickly extinguished.

In Sviatoshynskyi district, there was a fire with partial destruction in a 3-story residential building; the remains of an air target fell on the roof of a non-residential building; another fire was in the private sector.

In Obolonskyi district, there were fires in private houses in several locations.

In Dniprovskyi district, there was destruction at the level of 6-7 floors of a 10-story residential building, with subsequent fire. The fire has been extinguished, the dismantling of the rubble is underway.

In Holosiivskyi district, there were fires in outbuildings and cars; warehouses were destroyed at another address; civilian infrastructure objects suffered significant damage.

Mykola Kalashnyk, Head of Kyiv Regional Military Administration,  reported that as a result of a massive russian strike on Kyiv oblast on the night of November 29, a woman was killed and at least 14 people were injured. Five regions of the oblast suffered. As of 16:20, 25 high-rise buildings, 106 private houses, and 88 cars were damaged in the region. Due to damage to the infrastructure, 78 settlements were without power, emergency services are working on restoration.

In the city of Brovary, as a result of the russian attack, a fire and destruction occurred in a nine-story building on the 8th and 9th floors. Two people were injured, one person was taken to a medical facility. Also, the State Emergency Service units evacuated 52 people from the building, including three children. In addition, private buildings and cars parked nearby were damaged in the city. A fire was extinguished in a garage cooperative, where 20 garages were damaged as a result of the enemy attack.

In Obukhiv region, two private houses and a production facility were damaged, two people were injured.

In Bucha region, six people were injured: two people were hospitalized, and four provided with assistance on the spot. Private houses were damaged.

In Vyshhorod region, one person received shrapnel wounds and was hospitalized.

In Fastiv region, two women suffered acute stress reactions. As a result of the enemy attack, the city of Fastiv was temporarily without electricity, and critical infrastructure switched to backup power.

Rescuers pulled a kitten from the rubble, which had been under a floor slab for almost ten hours in the village of Khotiv. While disassembling the structures of a partially destroyed private house, rescuers heard a soft meow. The animal had no way to get out on its own. Using a special tool and supports, the State Emergency Service specialists carefully lifted a fragment of the slab and created a safe space for rescue.

 

Zhytomyr oblast

Vitaliy Zozulya, head of the bureau of the regional bureau of forensic medical examination in Zhytomyr, Korosten, Berdychiv and Andrushivka, says that the experts are examining the bodies of servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who arrive during the exchange with russia. Since the bureau began its work on October 28, 2024, 833 bodies have been accepted. At the moment, 500 bodies of soldiers who were killed during hostilities remain unidentified.

Relatives of prisoners of war met with the representative office of the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights in Chudnov, Zhytomyr oblast. More than 100 participants registered for the meeting. In total, 15 meetings have already been held with families of prisoners of war and missing persons.

 

Sumy oblast

Yurii Zarko, Head of Bilopillia Community, reported that the russian army struck Bilopillia by guided aerial bombs and artillery starting overnight. According to him, FPV drone attacks and strikes by drones equipped with optical systems have intensified recently. Constant attacks are causing difficulties with food supplies and problems with communication. There is a large number of stray animals in the town; they are currently being fed by volunteers and local residents.

Between the morning of 28 November and the morning of 29 November, russian forces carried out nearly 40 attacks on 18 settlements in 13 territorial communities of the oblast. The highest number of strikes was recorded in Sumy and Shostka regions. The enemy used guided aerial bombs, UAVs and FPV drone strikes across Sumy oblast. Over the day, the air-raid alert in the oblast lasted 18 hours 56 minutes.

The consequences of the russian attack on Sumy oblast as of the morning of 29 November:

  • in Sumy community, a 60-year-old man was injured in a russian strike by a combat UAV. Civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged;

  • in Khotin community, a service vehicle was damaged;

  • in Krolevets community, civilian infrastructure facilities and 20 private residential houses were damaged;

  • in Druzhba community, a private residential house was damaged.

Over the past day, 19 people were evacuated from border communities by local authorities together with units of the State Emergency Service, the National Police and NGOs.

An exhibition of works by artist and volunteer Maryna Drieieva has opened at the premises of the NGO “Defence of the State” in Okhtyrka. The display includes paintings, decorated military artefacts and photographs by the author. The exhibition will run until 5 December. Admission is free. Previously, the artist’s works were exhibited in Barcelona, Kyiv and Sumy.

 

Chernihiv oblast

Mayor Oleksandr Kodola reported that during the attack on Nizhyn on 29 November, russian forces struck a foreign-owned private agricultural enterprise. There were six to seven impacts. Fertiliser tanks were damaged, but according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, there is no threat to the environment or human health.

Oleksandr Seliverstov, Head of Novhorod-Siverskyi Regional Military Administration, said that in the morning and again in the afternoon of 29 November, russian troops attacked a residential area in Semenivka with drones. A house was damaged and a civilian car destroyed.

A massive russian attack on border town Semenivka on 28 November lasted more than 12 hours. As a result of strike drone impacts, two people were injured and houses and vehicles damaged.

Viacheslav Chaus, Head of Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, informed that in Koriukivka region, russian drones attacked several settlements throughout 28 November, damaging local residents’ homes and vehicles.

According to Viacheslav Chaus, Head of Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, multiple explosions were heard in Chernihiv the previous day. A house on the outskirts of the city was damaged in a russian UAV attack. A Heran strike was directed at an industrial facility, igniting the roof of a warehouse. An attack drone also struck energy infrastructure.

Chernihiv Border Guard Detachment reported that throughout 28 November, russian forces attacked three border communities of Chernihiv oblast: Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka and Horodnia. The enemy carried out mortar strikes (3 explosions) and automatic grenade launcher attacks (9 explosions), and conducted strikes by Molniia-type UAVs (7 explosions) and FPV drones (26 explosions). Eleven border villages and the town of Semenivka came under fire.

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

Dnipro region: Mykola Lukashuk, Head of Dnipro Regional Council, reported that a fire broke out following a UAV attack. An infrastructure facility was damaged.
Nikopol region: Late in the evening, the enemy shelled Myrove community by artillery.
Pavlohrad region: A woman aged 83 was injured in a UAV attack on Troitske community. A private house was partially destroyed. Five more homes, a gas pipeline and a power line were damaged.

Nikopol region: The enemy continued drone and artillery attacks on the regional centre, as well as Myrove, Marhanets and Chervonohryhorivka communities. An apartment building and a power line were damaged.
Synelnykove region: The occupiers struck Pokrovske community by a UAV, causing a private house to catch fire. Updated information indicates that a lyceum and seven private houses were damaged in the morning guided aerial bomb strike.
Pavlohrad region: Updated information shows that yesterday’s attack on Troitske community damaged nine private homes, seven outbuildings, garages, a car and a summer kitchen.

Vinnytsia oblast

In Kryzhopil community in Vinnytsia oblast, residents welcomed home Anatolii Tkachuk, known by the callsign “Artist”, after his release from captivity. The defender spent 1,153 days in russian captivity and returned as part of one of the largest prisoner exchanges.

Poltava oblast

In Myrhorod, Poltava oblast, the eight-day rehabilitation retreat “Strength of Two” is being held for a second time for veterans and their families. The retreat aims to help military families overcome challenges after returning to civilian life and to strengthen marital relationships. The programme includes physical rehabilitation procedures as well as group and individual psychotherapy.

Cherkasy oblast

Ihor Taburets, Head of the Regional Military Administration, reported that in Cherkasy oblast, defenders shot down a russian missile and 12 UAVs. Falling UAV debris damaged three residential houses in Cherkasy region. Four more uninhabited houses and a power line were also damaged.

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast

Ivan Fedorov, Head of Zaporizhzhia RMA, reported that in the evening, russian forces struck Zaporizhzhia oblast. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties or destruction reported.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on 28 November, the Defence Forces repelled 28 russian assaults in Zaporizhzhia oblast. In Orikhiv region, russian troops launched 11 unsuccessful attacks near Stepove, Shcherbaky, Prymorske, Novoandriivka and Kamianske.

In Huliaipole region, the Defence Forces repelled 17 russian attacks near Varvarivka, Dobropillia, Zatyshshia, Huliaipole and Zelene.

Ivan Fedorov, Head of the RMA, stated that on 28 November, russian forces carried out 341 strikes on 21 settlements in Zaporizhzhia oblast. These included 8 airstrikes targeting Mahdalynivka, Nove Pole, Huliaipole, Vozdvyzhivka, Dobropillia and Rizdvianka.

Mykolaiv oblast

The Regional Military Administration reported that during the day, no shelling was recorded in Mykolaiv oblast.

Odesa oblast

According to the Air Force, in the evening, there was a threat of ballistic missile use from the south.

Kherson oblast

Based on the information provided by Kherson Regional Military Administration, around 4pm, russian forces attacked Bilozirka by a drone. A 60-year-old man was hospitalised with a shrapnel thigh wound and blast injury.

Referring to Kherson City Military Administration, russian troops used a drone to attack Dniprovskyi district of Kherson. A 41-year-old woman was injured; she sustained a concussion, blast injury, acute stress reaction and a shrapnel wound to the arm.

Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of the RMA, reported that in Beryslav, a 65-year-old man died as a result of yesterday’s russian drone attack.

The RMA informed that russian shelling of Dniprovskyi district of Kherson injured 2 people, who sustained concussions, blast injuries and acute stress reactions. Both received necessary medical assistance.

Around 1pm, russian forces shelled Korabelnyi district of Kherson. A 65-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman were injured. A 54-year-old resident of Kherson, who had sustained severe injuries during the attack, later died in hospital.

Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of the RMA, stated that on 28 November, russian forces shelled 27 settlements in Kherson oblast. 4 high-rise buildings, 4 private houses and several cars were damaged. 2 people were killed and 8 injured.

According to the CMA, a municipal employee was injured during the morning shelling of Kherson. The 37-year-old man sustained a blast injury, closed head trauma, concussion and shrapnel wounds to his right arm and neck. He was hospitalised.

Latest news for today in the western regions of Ukraine

Volyn oblast

Lutsk community sent a set of drones for shooting down enemy “Shahed” UAVs includes DROZD INTERCEPTOR FPV quadcopters, DROZD AIR FPV ground control station, Radiomastet TX 16s control panel and accessories to the 204th Tactical Aviation Brigade.

Zakarpattia oblast

The RMA delegation participated in the Ukraine’s Path to EU Integration And Recovery: The Role Of Regional Cross-Border Cooperation CIVEX seminar.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

The Don’t Be Silent. You Have The Right To Protection educational campaign was held in Uzhhorod. Organizers, as part of the 16 Days Against Violence All-Ukrainian campaign, distributed information materials among local residents, which indicated signs by which you can recognize that violence has been committed against you, recommendations on how to counteract violence, telephone “hotlines” of support services, and advice on how to help people suffering from various types of violence.

Lviv oblast

In Truskavets, traditionally within the framework of the family of festivals, Ethnic Wreath gathered talents for the All-Ukrainian 2-round Art Festival-Competition Carpathian Autumn. A charity collection was held at the festival – they helped soldiers undergoing treatment in the Kyiv emergency hospital. In total, almost UAH 10,000 was collected.

Rivne oblast

Command and staff exercises were conducted in Rivne oblast, during which two emergency situations typical of the autumn-winter period were simulated. According to the legend of the exercises, as a result of the deterioration of weather conditions, numerous accidents occurred on power grids and roads. Additionally, a fire was simulated in the boiler room due to the depressurization of a shale pipe, which led to the cessation of heating in 63 houses.

Ternopil oblast

In Ternopil, a meeting was held with Munir Mammadzadeh, Head of UNICEF Ukraine, and Yevhen Kuznetsov, Head of UNICEF Lviv Office. They visited the site of damaged houses that were hit by rocket fire on 19 November. They held a working meeting, discussed specific assistance to children and educational institutions in the city, and signed a cooperation agreement.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

At night, air raid warnings were issued repeatedly due to the threat of enemy missiles and UAVs. During one of the alerts, the Air Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down/suppressed 3 enemy UAVs. There were no fatalities, injuries, or damage.

Chernivtsi oblast

A new rehabilitation space has opened in Chernivtsi. Here, patients will be able to recover from injuries, surgeries, or illnesses under the supervision of a team of qualified specialists. Thanks to the twin city of Mannheim, the hospital has modern rehabilitation equipment, including Thera Trainer Lyra and Tyromotion Amadeo AR7 exercise machines. It has already been installed and is being used in working with patients.

International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)

Ukrainian Octopus interceptor drones will be produced in the UK. Mass production of interceptors is underway, which can reach several thousand per month.
