Russian invaders continue to assault the positions of Ukrainian defenders.

Border settlements suffered from cynical shelling from the territory of the Russian Federation, including Naumivka, Starykove, Kucherivka, Bachivsk, Chernatske, Porozok, Prokhody, Petrushivka, Bilokopytove, Ulanove, Stepok, Popivka, Shalyhyne, Velyka Pysarivka in Sumy region; Tymonovychi, Khotiivka in Chernihiv region. Airstrikes hit the settlements of Mykhailivske, Mala Rybitsia, Prokhody, Myropilske, Novodmytrivka, Uhroidy in Sumy region.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy carried out four assault actions towards Petropavlivka, Novoosynove, and Zahryzove.
In the Lyman direction, the invading army attacked 21 times near the settlements of Novosergiivka, Nadiia, Tverdokhlibove, Ridkodub, Nove, Novyi Myr, Kolodiazi, and in the direction of Hrekivka. Six combat engagements are still ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 15 attempts by the occupiers to advance in the areas of Kurdiumivka, Andriivka, and near Chasiv Yar. Six more clashes are still underway.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked five times near Druzhba, Dachne, Dyliivka, and in the Toretsk area. Two combat engagements remain unresolved.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the occupiers have made 40 attempts to dislodge our defenders from their positions in the areas of Stara Mykolaivka, Kalynove, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Nadiivka, Novooleksandrivka, Kotliarivka, Troitske, Bohdanivka, Andriivka, and in the directions of Zoria, Pokrovsk, Novosergiivka, and Nova Poltavka. The Defense Forces are holding off the enemy’s pressure and have repelled 33 attacks; seven combat engagements are still ongoing. Airstrikes targeted Rusyn Yar, Malynivka, Hrodivka, Myroliubivka, Lysivka, Sukhyi Yar, and Pokrovsk.
In the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy attacked 10 times near Kostiantynopil, Pryvilne, Vilne Pole, and towards Odradne and Bahatyr. Three engagements are still in progress. Novopil was attacked with unguided aerial rockets.
In the Huliaipole direction, the enemy carried out airstrikes on Huliaipole.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our defenders four times in the areas of Stepove, Lobkove, and Kamianske.
In the Prydniprovske direction, the enemy conducted one unsuccessful attack. Tomaryne was hit by an airstrike.
In the Kursk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled eight Russian attacks, and four combat engagements are still ongoing. Since the beginning of the day, the enemy has launched three airstrikes, dropped five guided aerial bombs on our troops and settlements, and conducted 157 artillery shellings, including five from multiple launch rocket systems.
In other directions of the front, the situation has not changed significantly.
The Ministry of Defense has approved the use of the Ukrainian-made fiber-optic drone “Hromylo Optic” in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Drones of various “Hromylo” modifications have long been successfully performing tasks in AFU units and have destroyed a significant amount of enemy equipment. Responding to military requests, the manufacturer has produced larger “Hromylo” drones — with 10-inch frame sizes. These drones can now carry explosive charges sufficient to destroy heavily protected tanks and fortified firing positions. The drones are equipped with fiber-optic control systems and video systems (optional) with daytime, twilight, or nighttime (thermal imaging) cameras, ensuring precise and reliable target identification at any time of day, according to the Ministry of Defense.
Ukraine has increased the production of “Bohdana” self-propelled artillery systems to 36 units per month. Previously, the Defense Procurement Agency (DPA) reported producing “over 20” Bohdana systems per month.

Kharkiv oblast
Frontline
In the Kupiansk direction, the occupiers launched four assaults toward Petropavlivka, Novoosynove, and Zahryzove, according to the General Staff.
As of 4:00 p.m., six battles were ongoing in the Lyman direction. In total, Russian forces attacked 21 times in this area, including near Novosergiivka and Novyi Myr.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to bravely hold the line. Since the beginning of the day, there have been 177 combat engagements.
In the Kharkiv direction, Ukrainian forces repelled two enemy attacks near Vovchansk and toward Kamianka.
In the Kupiansk direction, nine enemy assaults were recorded over the past day. Defense Forces held back enemy assaults near Zahryzove, Stepova Novoselivka, and in the directions of Petropavlivka and Nova Kruhliakivka.
Shelling
A 54-year-old man was killed in shelling of Novoosynove in the Kupiansk district around 1:45 p.m., according to the regional prosecutor’s office.
This morning, the Balakliia community was also targeted by Russian drone strikes — a hit was recorded at a civilian enterprise, said local Military Administration head Vitalii Karabanov. According to him, no one was injured.
In Pivdenne, at least five children aged 5 to 15 suffered acute stress reactions during the shelling while at home. In total, 14 people were affected. The strikes caused fires in structural elements of an apartment building, an unused facility, and passenger cars, police reported. Multi-apartment and private houses, as well as vehicles, were damaged.
Two men, aged 55 and 56, were hospitalized in Kharkiv after being wounded by a drone strike on Mali Prokhody in the Derhachi district, said Head of the Military Administration Viacheslav Zadorenko. One man suffered an explosive injury with damage to the neck and right shoulder, while the other sustained a shrapnel wound to the face with damage to the right eye.
Firefighting efforts continue as of 10:00 a.m. near Pidlyman in the Izium district, said State Emergency Service spokesperson for Kharkiv region, Yevhen Vaslenko. The forest fire was caused by shelling on April 29 around 4:00 p.m. Seven abandoned buildings burned down due to the fire. Rescuers are working to localize the flames.

Kharkiv Region
During the night, Kharkiv was hit by 15 drone (UAV) strikes. Explosions were recorded in the Kyivskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, Nemyshlianskyi, Slobidskyi, and Saltivskyi districts.
Fourteen private houses, three apartment buildings, a civilian enterprise, and a medical facility were damaged. Eleven fires broke out, including the burning of civilian vehicles.
As a result of the attacks, 45 people were injured, including two children and a pregnant woman.
In total, 55 strike UAVs and 13 guided aerial bombs (KABs) were used against Kharkiv and the region.
Due to a UAV strike, a private house, an outbuilding, and a car caught fire across an area of 300 m².
Two vehicles burned on an area of 10 m², and window glazing of an administrative building was damaged.
A UAV strike near a garage cooperative caused a fire on a garage roof (4 m²); 19 garages, six cars, as well as windows of a residential building and an educational institution were damaged.
An impact in an open area caused a fire in grass (10 m²) and a market container (40 m²).
A production workshop caught fire over an area of 150 m².
Due to falling UAV debris, grass fires broke out (400 m² and 50 m²), window glazing and doors of a building were damaged, and a car was destroyed.
An impact on the grounds of a private household damaged eight houses and several outbuildings.
Drone debris struck a one-story building, causing a destroyed workshop (300 m²) to catch fire.
A UAV strike on the territory of a medical facility damaged an underground passage, and grass and trees (5 m²) burned.

Kharkiv Region
At 00:47 in the village of Osynove, Kupiansk community, a house and two outbuildings caught fire, covering an area of 200 m². A 73-year-old man and woman were injured.
At 00:46 in the village of Mali Prokhody, Derhachi community, an FPV drone strike damaged a passenger car. Two people were injured.
At 22:12 in the city of Kupiansk, two private houses (300 m²), an outbuilding (50 m²), and another house caught fire.
At 20:57 in the village of Tyshchenkivka, Kindrashivka community, a 60-year-old man was injured as a result of shelling.
At 16:39 in the village of Perovske, Zolochiv community, an FPV drone damaged the windows and roof of a house and destroyed an outbuilding.
At 15:54 in the village of Pidlyman, Borivska community, 25 hectares of coniferous litter, five wooden houses of a recreation base, an abandoned building (70 m²), and an outbuilding (15 m²) were on fire.
At 15:28 in the village of Podoly, Kurylivka community, private houses were on fire.
At 15:07 in the settlement of Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi, Kupiansk community, two private houses were burning.
At 13:03 in the village of Sobolivka, Kindrashivka community, coniferous litter and deadwood caught fire over an area of 0.5 hectares.
Other
A memorial plaque was unveiled in Kharkiv for Vyacheslav Shymchuk, a fighter of the “Khartiia” unit, who was killed on July 26, 2024, near Lypci. He was posthumously awarded the title Hero of Ukraine.
Donetsk oblast
Frontline
Ukrainian forces repelled 75 assaults in the Pokrovsk sector over the past 24 hours. Russian troops attacked near Stara Mykolaivka, Tarasivka, Shevchenka, Yelyzavetivka, Novotoretske, Lysivka, Uspenivka, Kotliarivka, Troitske, Nadiivka, and Andriivka, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In the Lyman direction, the occupiers launched more than 20 assaults, and over ten attacks were recorded in the Kramatorsk and Novopavlivka sectors.
Russian troops also launched motorcycle-borne assaults in the Siversk and Kramatorsk directions. Additionally, the occupiers attacked using buggies near Lysivka in the Pokrovsk sector, according to the “Khortytsia” Operational-Strategic Grouping.
Over nearly ten months of fighting in the Toretsk agglomeration in Donetsk region, the Russian army has lost nearly 20,000 soldiers killed, said Serhii Khominskyi, press officer of the 100th Separate Mechanized Brigade.
Shelling
In the morning, Russian forces struck Kostiantynivka with barrel artillery. One impact has been confirmed, reported Head of the City Military Administration Horbunov.
At 04:25, a Russian “Geran-2” UAV hit Dobropillia, damaging a café. One person was injured.
Over the past day, police recorded 3,467 enemy shelling incidents. A total of 20 settlements came under attack.
79 civilian objects were damaged, including 45 residential buildings.
In Shakhove, the Russians used two KAB-250 bombs and two UAVs, killing one person and injuring another. 17 private houses were damaged.
In Pokrovsk, two people were injured and a home was damaged. In Rodynske, artillery fire injured two residents and damaged two apartment buildings.
One person was injured in Dronivka, and a home was damaged.
In Myrnohrad, the occupiers dropped a KAB-250, destroying a nine-story apartment building.
In Kramatorsk, enemy drones damaged a car repair shop. In Kostiantynivka, an apartment building, three private homes, and a garage were damaged.
In Sloviansk, a drone strike damaged 12 homes and four civilian vehicles.
Other
The city of Kostiantynivka in Donetsk region is shelled daily by Russian forces. The Russians strike with KAB bombs, multiple rocket launchers, aircraft, and artillery. The frontline is 11 kilometers from the city. Due to the curfew, residents are only allowed outside for four hours per day, from 11:00 to 15:00.
In eight settlements of Donetsk region, where mandatory evacuation of families with children is underway, 166 minors remain, according to acting head of the Child Services Department Yuliia Ryzhakova.
Luhansk oblast
Yesterday, Russian forces focused their efforts on the Siversk direction, particularly near Bilohorivka, where Ukrainian troops continue to hold the defense. Along the line of contact within our area of responsibility, the occupiers received artillery support nine times. The enemy attempted to carry out missions using 226 unmanned aerial vehicles.
In the so-called “LNR”, a “People’s Digital Archive” is being created to document participants and events of the war against Ukraine. The archival service of the “republic” has decided to collect evidence of Russian war crimes. The database is expected to contain photos, video and audio recordings, testimonies, and information about Russian propaganda projects. The occupiers are urging local residents to actively participate in data collection.
The wildfires that raged in occupied parts of Luhansk region last week affected not only the villages around Sievierodonetsk, but also 13 communities in total. The ecosystems of Svatove, Starobilsk, and Sorokyne districts suffered significant damage. Russia’s so-called “Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM)” has already demonstrated its incompetence in dealing with the early stages of the fire season.
What is happening now in the north of Ukraine
Kyiv oblast
The website of the Prosecutor General’s Office informed that in Ukraine, two russian soldiers were sentenced in absentia to twelve years in prison for committing war crimes during the occupation of Kyiv oblast in May 2022. The convicts held a local man in slavery: they beat him, simulated executions and forced to do physical labour. Investigators also gathered evidence of the involvement of these two convicted servicemen in the rape and beating of a pregnant woman and the abuse of three local residents.
In Kyiv, the first office was opened to provide free consultations with a sex pathologist for military personnel and veterans after being wounded. They help them understand how their changed bodies and sexuality function and how to restore or improve their intimate lives. Confidential and anonymous consultations are held offline in the Dialog Hub space.
Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Oksen Lisovyi announced that the first educational ‘Space of Real Skills’ – a modern centre for studying the subject ‘Defence of Ukraine’ under the updated programme – was opened in Kyiv. In the educational space, schoolchildren, students and teachers will be able to practice first aid, civil protection and information security skills.
On 29 April, an open meeting for war veterans, military personnel and their families was held at the Bilohorod House of Culture. This meeting was dedicated to supporting defenders and opening up new opportunities for them.
Zhytomyr oblast
Vitaliy Bunechko, Head of the Zhytomyr Regional Administration, announced that the Consul General of the Republic of Poland had arrived in Zhytomyr oblast on a working visit. At the meeting with him, new initiatives that the consulate is implementing in the oblast were discussed. In particular, it is planned to train Ukrainian doctors at the military hospital in Berdychiv to provide professional psychological support using modern methods to the military and people who have suffered psychological trauma as a result of the war.
According to the regional employment centre in Zhytomyr oblast, 102 internally displaced people have found jobs through the employment service since the beginning of the year. 81 employers received compensation for hiring IDPs totalling over two million hryvnias.
Sumy oblast
Sumy Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported that in the morning of 29 April, russian forces attacked Esman community by FPV-drones. As a result, a 31-year-old man was killed, and his father was injured. According to law enforcement, the men were on their property and were preparing to transport beehives to the apiary.
As a result of a russian attack on 29 April in one of the border villages of Konotop region, an educational institution and non-residential premises were damaged. According to the State Emergency Service, firefighters extinguished the fire. During their work, russian forces attacked again, but no people were harmed.
The Regional Military Administration informed that during the day, from the morning of 29 April to the morning of 30 April, russian forces carried out nearly 90 shellings across 33 settlements in 11 territorial communities of the oblast. The most shellings were recorded in Sumy and Shostka regions. The enemy actively used guided air-dropped bombs (nearly 20 strikes) and FPV-drones (30 strikes). As a result of russian strikes during this period: in Seredyna-Buda community, a civilian infrastructure facility was damaged; in Putyvl community, a cultural centre, a shop, and an educational institution were damaged; in Nova Slobidka community, an administrative building was damaged.
Over the past day, local authorities, together with units of the State Emergency Service, the National Police, and non-governmental organisations from border communities, evacuated 25 people.
Sumy City Council announced that on 30 April, Sumy community received five new buses. They were provided as humanitarian aid by Polish city of Kraków.
Chernihiv oblast
Chernihiv Border Detachment reported that during the day on 29 April, russian forces attacked four border communities in Chernihiv oblast: Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka, Horodnia, and Snovsk. Enemy troops launched ‘Molniya’ UAVs (3 explosions) and guided air-dropped bombs (4 explosions), dropped explosives from UAVs (25 explosions), conducted FPV-drone strikes (7 explosions), and fired mortars (5 explosions) and barrel artillery (9 explosions). Ten settlements came under enemy fire.
Chernihiv Regional Hospital informed that a resident of the border village of Hremiach, who was injured on 28 April while working in her garden during a russian drone attack on the village, underwent surgery at the Chernihiv Regional Hospital. The woman sustained a shrapnel wound to her torso. Her condition is currently stable and of moderate severity.
According to the State Emergency Service, in Chernihiv oblast, on 29 April, demining specialists removed and destroyed four explosive devices. Among them were two cluster munitions, a 120mm mortar shell, and a FAB-500 aerial bomb. The munitions were discovered in Chernihiv and Semenivka regions.
As of early 2025, 2,652 damaged infrastructure and vital facilities have been recorded in Chernihiv oblast. These include 154 educational institutions, 76 healthcare facilities, 62 administrative buildings and one Administrative Service Centre, six social protection institutions, 105 cultural establishments, 13 sports facilities, 1,648 vital infrastructure objects, 41 bridges, 63 industrial enterprises, and 484 other infrastructure objects. This information is outlined in the approved Comprehensive Recovery Programme for Chernihiv oblast.
The Regional Military Administration announced that the restoration of Yahidne village in Chernihiv oblast is ongoing. Currently, builders are carrying out comprehensive repairs on 23 private houses, while two houses will be built from scratch. Specialists are installing pavements, repairing and insulating facades, and arranging roofs. A total of 56 houses, including 16 apartment buildings, have already been restored.

Dnipropetrovsk oblast
At night, the enemy massively attacked the area with drones. The defenders of the sky destroyed 9 UAVs. However, there were also hits. A 53-year-old man was killed in Dnipro. A 78-year-old man was injured. There were several fires. A house was destroyed and other private houses were damaged. An enterprise, a funeral home and a car were damaged. From evening until morning, the occupiers continued to attack Nikopol district. They launched kamikaze drones and fired from Grad multiple rocket launchers. They targeted the region centre, Pokrovsk, Myrove and Marhanets communities. There was a fire, a recreation centre, 7 private houses, 2 garages, a car, a minibus and power lines were damaged.
During the day, the enemy attacked Nikopol region more than fifteen times. They used kamikaze drones and artillery. They targeted the region centre, Pokrovsk, Myrove, Chervonohryhorivka and Marhanets communities. A 35-year-old woman was injured. She received the necessary medical care. An enterprise, 2 private houses, an outbuilding, infrastructure and a car were damaged.
Vinnytsia oblast
It became known that seven defenders from Vinnytsia oblast were killed. In particular, these are Ihor Yermakov, Vasyl Skorokhod, Andriy Koshelap, Serhiy Koba, Taras Galkin, Mykola Horilchanyi and Oleksandr Shapalchuk.
Kirovohrad oblast
A schoolboy from village Oleksandrivka, Kirovohrad oblast, raised 70 thousand hryvnias to buy a car for the military. Bogdan Budzhenko is ten years old. This is not the first time he has helped at the front. The soldiers who came to pick up the car brought Bogdan gifts, including a commander’s watch. The vehicle from Aleksandrovka will go to perform tasks towards Pokrov.
Poltava oblast
Volodymyr Nesterenko, a soldier from Velyka Bahachka community, died on 23 April 2025 as a result of russian artillery shelling near Torske village, Donetsk oblast.
On 3 May, a charity bike ride in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will take place in Poltava. The event aims to unite the community to support Ukrainian soldiers. All Poltava residents and visitors are invited to participate. In particular, families with children are invited to participate.
Cherkasy oblast
According to Ihor Taburets, Head of Cherkasy RMA, reported that the Air Armed Forces destroyed four Shaheds in Cherkasy oblast. There were no casualties.

Zaporizhzhia oblast
Today, 30 April, the russian army attacked the village of Prymorske in Zaporizhzhia oblast. As a result of the shelling, a 45-year-old man was injured.
Also today, the russian army launched at least 25 attacks using Grad MLRS on Huliaipole. Preliminarily, there are no reports of casualties or injuries.
Throughout 29 April, the occupiers carried out 616 attacks on 15 populated areas in Zaporizhzhia щидфіе. кussian forces conducted 5 airstrikes on Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Mali Shcherbaky, and Novoandriivka. 435 UAVs of various types attacked Malokaterynivka, Novoslobidka, Lobkove, Kamianske, Stepove, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, and Novodarivka. Five MLRS strikes targeted Lobkove, Shcherbaky, and Novodanylivka. There were 171 artillery strikes on Bilenke, Lobkove, Kamianske, Stepove, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, and Novodarivka. Nineteen reports about damage to houses, apartments, cars, and garages were received. One person was injured due to an enemy attack in Zaporizhzhia region.
According to the General Staff, as of 4:00 pm on 30 April, the enemy launched four attacks on Ukrainian defensive positions near Stepove, Lobkove, and Kamianske towards Orikhiv.
In Zaporizhzhia, 23 veterans received modern sports prosthetics. The soldiers can comfortably engage in active sports thanks to the new prosthetic feet.
Olha Zinchenko, a law enforcement officer from Zaporizhzhia, received an award from the International Association of Women Police in the “Community Service” category. Her efforts helped locate and reunite 255 children with their families since the beginning of 2024. Additionally, in March 2022, over 1,000 children were evacuated to safety under her coordination.
Mykolaiv oblast
Yesterday, 29 April, the enemy attacked with FPV drones four times and at 15:55 carried out an artillery strike on Kutsurub community. As a result of the evening shelling in the village of Dniprovske, two people were injured. In addition, a private house was damaged by the enemy strike. Also, as a result of one of the attacks a power line was damagedin the village of Dniprovske, leaving 66 consumers without electricity. Power supply was promptly restored.
Yesterday, 29 April, the enemy attacked Ochakiv community twice with FPV drones. There were no casualties.
Odesa oblast
As of 6:00 am on 30 April, one enemy carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo capacity of up to 6 missiles was in the Black Sea. There were 3 enemy vessels in the Mediterranean Sea, including 1 carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles, with a total salvo capacity of up to 8 missiles.
Over the past day, 7 vessels passed through the Kerch Strait into the Black Sea in russia’s interests, while 10 more ships entered the Sea of Azov.
Kherson oblast
An elderly resident of Shyroka Balka who was injured in a Russian shelling on 13 April was taken to the hospital. The 84-year-old woman was diagnosed with a blast injury and a forearm bone fracture.
A man sought medical help after being injured in yesterday’s russian airstrike on Dniprovskyi district of Kherson. The 50-year-old Kherson resident suffered a blast injury and a concussion.
Yesterday, the enemy attacked Antonivka, Sadove, Komyshany, Naddniprianske, Ivanivka, Mykilske, Poniativka, Tokarivka, Novotiahynka, Bilozerka, Romashkove, Nezlamne, Kizomys, Stanislav, Sofiivka, Oleksandrivka, Shyroka Balka, Beryslav, Shliakhove, Tomaryne, Tiahynka, Burhunka, Mykolaivka, Novovorontsovka, Kostyrka, Khreshchenivka, Shevchenkivka, Chervonyi Maiak, Dudchany, Mykhailivka, Odradokamianka, Olhivka, Novooleksandrivka, Vesele, and the city of Kherson using drones, artillery and airstrikes. As a result of the attacks, 10 apartment buildings, 9 private houses, an outbuilding, and a private car were damaged. Six people were injured due to russian aggression.
In the Prydniprovske direction, the enemy launched one offensive action but was unsuccessful. Over the past day, enemy losses amounted to 79 occupiers, 10 artillery systems, 42 vehicles and pieces of armored equipment, 8 UAVs, 2 boats, 1 electronic warfare station, 1 buggy, 10 motorcycles, 1 generator, 7 UAV antennas, 1 communication antenna, 3 ammunition storage sites, and 6 fuel and lubricant storage locations. Seventy-three shelters and 2 observation posts were destroyed.

18 children from Lutsk community (aged 13-15), whose parents were killed while performing a combat mission, are missing in action, or are in captivity, will spend 3 weeks of free rest and rehabilitation in the US. Kolomyia community sent 9 inverter generators-charging stations (2 kW), 12 medical kits for combat medics, and 3 first aid backpacks with necessary supplies to the military.
Ivano-Frankivsk community sent 50 fpv drones and UAH 20m to the 63rd Separate Mechanized Brigade.
The RMA reported that the Military Unit A1267 received devices that, allow for timely detection of enemy drones, worth UAH 175,000.
Lviv oblast
Lviv RMA held a meeting with families of prisoners of war and missing persons. They discussed issues of social payments, benefits, identification procedures, mechanisms for searching for missing persons and interaction with law enforcement agencies.
Indestructibility Centers in Lviv oblast have been put into sleep mode. There are a total of 864 such Centres in the oblast.
Rivne oblast
An air alert sounded in Rivne oblast for almost three hours. The Air Defense Forces shot down an enemy air target over the oblast. The relevant services are currently working on the scene.
Ternopil oblast
The 63rd Separate Mechanized Brigade received 3 MAVIC 3pro quadcopters from Ternopil community.
Khmelnytskyi oblast
Khmelnytskyi community sent 30 printers, 5 Mavic 3 Pro and 2 Mavic 3E to the military.
Chernivtsi oblast
Chernivtsi signed a Twin City Agreement with the Israeli city of Netanya. The agreement opens up new opportunities for cooperation in the areas of education, culture, sports, tourism, local government, urban planning and sustainable development.
International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)
The European Union will allocate EUR 910m from a special fund to help European countries produce more modern weapons and military equipment. This funds will go to ensure that armies can move faster and better protect themselves from drones. Importantly, for the first time, Ukrainian defense companies will also be able to join these projects. This means that Ukraine will also receive some of this money for its own developments.
The Office of the President held a meeting with a delegation from the NATO Parliamentary Assembly/ They discussed strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities, through investments in the Ukrainian defense industry and the creation of joint production facilities in the field of armaments.
