Russian invaders continue to storm the positions of Ukrainian defenders. In total, there were 116 combat engagements since the beginning of the day. Most of the fighting was recorded towards Kurakhove and Pokrovsk.
In particular, Bilovody, Basivka, Novenke, Myropilske, Zhuravka, Rozhkovichi, Volfyne and Ulanove suffered from enemy artillery and mortar fire in Sumy oblast. Stepok suffered from strikes by terrorist aircraft.
Towards Kharkiv, the enemy stormed the positions of our troops five times near Vovchansk, Kudiivka and Kozacha Lopan. Three more firefights are ongoing. The enemy also launched a drone strike on Pytomnyk.
Towards Kupiansk, russian invaders conducted 13 offensives near Novomlynsk, Kolisnykivka, Zahryzove, Kruhliakivka and Zelenyi Hai. One combat engagement is ongoing. The enemy is actively using aviation, dropping bombs Velykyi Burlyk, Kupiansk, Kruhliakivka and Bohuslavka.
Towards Lyman, the enemy attacked four times near Hrekivka and Torske. One battle is still ongoing. They launched an airstrike on Ivanivka.
Towards Kramatorsk, the enemy tried to advance three times near Chasiv Yar.
Towards Toretsk, the occupiers tried four times to force our units out of their positions near Toretsk and Dachne, with two battles currently ongoing.
Towards Pokrovsk, the enemy launched 29 assault attacks near Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Hryhorivka, Petrivka, Dachne, Pushkine and Pustynka. The Ukrainian defence forces are holding back the russian offensive and have repelled 20 attacks, with nine more battles still ongoing.
Towards Kurakhove, the invaders attacked 27 times near Sontsivka, Berestki, Kurakhove, Uspenivka, Yelyzavetivka and Hannivka. 23 attempts by the occupiers to advance have already been repelled. The fighting continues, with the hottest spots near Kurakhove. Enemy aircraft struck Dachne.
Towards Vremivka, the enemy made nine attempts to storm the positions of our defenders near Rivne, Novodarivka and Sukhi Yaly. Two combat engagements are ongoing, and Velyka Novosilka also came under enemy aircraft attack.
Towards Orikhiv, the enemy twice tried to storm our positions near Novoandriivka.
Towards Kherson, Ukrainian troops repelled two enemy attacks, and the enemy launched an air strike with NARs at Olhivka.
In Kursk oblast, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled ten enemy attacks, eight more combat engagements are ongoing, and the enemy has carried out four air strikes, dropping six guided aerial bombs on Ukrainian territory.
The situation in other sectors has not changed significantly.
According to the Juvenile Prosecutor’s Office, at least 2,294 children were affected by the russian invasion, 592 of whom were killed and 1,702 were injured of varying severity. The disappointing leader is Donetsk oblast, where the number of victims is almost 600 children. Other leaders include the frontline oblasts of Kharkiv, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia, as well as the frontline oblasts of Kyiv, Dnipro and Mykolaiv. Recently, there has been an increase in the number of injuries and deaths of children in Sumy oblast. For instance, on 17 November alone, 2 children were killed and 11 others injured in Sumy.
Yurii Belousov, Head of the Department for Combating Crimes Committed in the Context of Armed Conflict of the Prosecutor General’s Office, reported that russians executed 93 Ukrainian prisoners of war directly on the battlefield. 80% of executions were recorded in 2024. Then there were changes in the attitude of the russian military to our prisoners of war for the worse.
Recent war events in the east of Ukraine
Kharkiv oblast
Oleh Syniehubov, Head of the RMA, reported that the russian army struck at Kharkiv. Preliminary, it was from the S-400 air defence system. As a result of the missile strike, 25 people were injured. Among them are 15 women and 6 men aged 21 to 71. 16 of the injured are in moderate condition, the rest are in light condition. 13 people were hospitalised. The enemy shelling hit the yards of residential high-rise buildings. More than 40 houses were damaged. Three cars were on fire.

Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported that the administration and ASC of Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv were damaged as a result of a russian missile attack on the centre this morning.
Viacheslav Zadorenko, Head of Derhachi CMA, reported that on the night of 25 November, a small russian subversive and reconnaissance group attempted to break through the border near Hoptivka in the area of the checkpoint. According to him, some of the saboteurs were eliminated, while others retreated back to Belgorod oblast. Zadorenko noted that russian troops are not actively attacking towards Derhachi and there are no sufficient forces on the border.
Kopanky in Kharkiv oblast was cleared of the occupiers who managed to break into the village. The 3rd Assault Brigade was able to replenish its exchange fund during the clearing by capturing soldiers from the 1st Tank Army of the russian Federation. According to the press service, some of the prisoners are under investigation in russia, while others have already been sentenced.
The press service of the regional prosecutor’s office said that a 68-year-old man was injured as a result of a russian FPV drone attack in Kupiansk. The strike occurred at around 8:40am, damaging the building of a lyceum.
Andrii Kanashevych, Head of Kupiansk Regional Administration, stated that in Dvorichna, due to shelling and the security situation, the bodies of two dead women have been buried under the rubble of the local administration, which was destroyed by S-300 missiles, for almost two years. He calls the situation in the Dvorichanska community tense: on the one hand, there is the front line, on the other, the border with russia.
Viacheslav Zadorenko, Head of Derhachi CMA, reported that the russian Federation launched airstrikes near Slatyne. There were no injuries as a result of the air strikes on Slatyne, a few people had an acute stress reaction, but did not need hospitalisation. These are four men and three women, including pensioners, people with disabilities and IDPs from Kozacha Lopan. At least three houses are known to have been damaged. Oleksandr Kulik, Spokesman of Derhachiv CMA, said that three explosions were heard in Slatyn, one of them hit a vegetable garden in the private sector of the village.
On 25 November at 4:35am, Kupiansk was shelled. As a result of the shelling, the roof of the warehouse and two cars burned.
Yesterday at 7:25pm, Kluhyne-Bashkkyrivka village of Chuhuiv region was shelled. The shelling damaged the wall of a house that had already been damaged earlier. There were no casualties.
At 9:20am, Lypianka village was shelled. The enemy struck outside the settlement with a Shahed UAV. There was no damage.
At 8:40am, between the settlements of Oleksiivka and Zelenivka, Lozova region, was shelled. A strike of a Shahed UAV was recorded between the settlements in the forest belt. There were no casualties or damage.
Towards Kharkiv, the russian army stormed the positions of our troops six times near Kozacha Lopan, Tykhe and Vovchansk.
Towards Kupiansk, the aggressor attacked near Novomlynsk, Kolisnykivka, Kruhliakivka, Senkove and Lozova. Ukrainian defenders stopped 11 enemy attacks, four more are still ongoing. The enemy also launched an airstrike on Bohuslavka.
As a result of increased evacuation measures, 12 people were evacuated towards Kupiansk and Borova.
Donetsk oblast
Anastasiia Bobovnikova, Spokewoman of Luhansk military operation, reported that the situation in Chasiv Yar is threatening, the russian army has gathered a large number of troops near the town.
Yuliia Zinkovska, Head of the brigade’s communications department, informed that in some parts of the frontline in Donetsk oblast, in the area of responsibility of the 117th separate mechanised brigade, russians outnumber infantry by one to six.
Anastasiia Miedviedieva, Spokeswoman of Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office, said that russian troops dropped a KAB-250 bomb on the village of Zoria in Pokrovsk region. One man was wounded.
Vadym Liakh, Head of the CMA, reported that at around 11am, the russian army shelled Sloviansk. The occupiers hit the industrial zone of the city, no one was wounded or killed in the attack.
According to the General Staff, most attacks were registered towards Kurakhove yesterday. The russians attacked 67 times, in particular, near Berestky, Romanivka, Dalne and Kurakhove.
There were another 46 battles towards Pokrovsk. Ukrainian troops repelled assaults near Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Hryhorivka, Dachanske, Pustynka and Chumatske. Also russian troops launched more than 10 attacks towards Lyman and Vremivka.
There were no casualties reported as a result of russian attacks in Donetsk oblast yesterday. The police recorded 2,535 enemy attacks on the frontline and residential areas. Also russian troops shelled two settlements Pokrovsk and Novooleonivka. Three residential buildings were damaged.

Police also documented the consequences of the shelling of Myrnohrad on 21 November. A direct hit destroyed a five-storey residential building and damaged two other buildings. Preliminary, there were no casualties.
The bodies of two unidentified servicemen were found in a de-occupied forest in Donetsk oblast by searchers from the Platzdarm unit. They are recovering the bodies of both Ukrainian and russian servicemen, as well as soldiers of the World War II. The head of the detachment, Oleksii Yukov, said that the remains and personal belongings of the victims have burned out, so they will be identified using DNA.
The National Resistance Centre reported that in the temporarily occupied Mariupol, russians are disconnecting apartment buildings from heating and electricity in order to evict people and “nationalise” or demolish the houses.
Luhansk oblast
The invaders fired 54 times at the fortifications of our soldiers in Luhansk oblast. According to the Regional Military Administration, artillery systems were used more than 20 times. They sent 33 drones towards the Ukrainian military. The russians attacked near Hrekivka and Novoiehorivka towards Lyman. The enemy had air support in this area of the frontline.
The russian Federation’s Territorial Development Fund promises to bring the level of housing and communal services in the so-called “lpr” to the russian average by 2030. The only resource supplying organisations are tasked with providing the frontline cities, in particular, Lysychansk and Siverskodonetsk, with centralised water supply and heating over the next few years. The targeted programmes for the overhaul of multi-apartment housing for 2024-2026 included only a few apartment buildings from the destroyed settlements and the programmes started in Luhansk.
Locals, who remained under occupation,
initially, hoped for demonstrative restoration of high-rise buildings. However, the apartments that survived the russian assault became uninhabitable after the repairs were completed. Workers break furniture and plumbing if they are unable to take anything valuable out. In response, they may replace the in-house heating system or Ukrainian metal-plastic windows with russian ones.
What is happening now in the north of Ukraine
Kyiv oblast
Ruslan Kravchenko, Head of the RMA, reported that the enemy continues to massively attack Kyiv oblast with drones. On Sunday, the alert was announced several times and lasted all night. As a result of the attack, 4 houses were damaged in two districts . Debris from the downed enemy targets was also seen falling in open areas. There were no civilian casualties.
Kyiv City Military Administration informed that as a result of the night attack on Kyiv, drone debris fell on private territory in Darnytsia district, and cars were hit in Dniprovskyi district.
In Kyiv, the results of the work of medical institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system over 10 months were summed up. The discussion focused on performance, innovation, social support for injured veterans and further development plans. Important topics included the opening of the Recover’ rehabilitation centre and the importance of establishing a mental health centre, as well as ISO accreditation of laboratories to improve service quality.
The Recovery rehabilitation centre for wounded soldiers was opened in Kyiv. The centre will provide free rehabilitation services to military, police and rescuers who have been injured in the fighting. Almost two thousand patients will be treated annually. This is the 14th centre in Ukraine.
The monograph “Strategic Communications in Wartime: A Volunteer’s View of a Scientist”, which summarises the experience of fighting russian propaganda, was presented in Kyiv. The presentation at Ukrinform was organised by the National Academy of the Security Service of Ukraine with the participation of the authors and compilers of the monograph.
26 children from Kyiv oblast returned from a tourist trip to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. These are representatives of school and student self-government, as well as children of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who are currently defending the country. For 14 days, the children had the opportunity to learn about British culture, architectural monuments and technological innovations.
Zhytomyr oblast
Large-scale joint exercises involving the authorities, emergency services and specialised professionals took place in Zhytomyr oblast. According to the RMA, the aim was to practice coordinated actions in emergency situations as close as possible to real ones.
To improve energy efficiency in the communities of Zhytomyr district, heating equipment is being modernised and work is underway to create technical reserves. Yuriy Tarasiuk, Head of Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration, said that alternative energy sources are being introduced for hospitals and educational institutions, which will increase their resilience in the event of emergencies. As of 19 November, all social infrastructure facilities and apartment buildings have been supplied with heat.
Sumy oblast
During night and morning, russians carried out 20 shelling attacks on border areas and settlements in Sumy oblast, resulting in 24 explosions. The attacks targeted Krasnopillia, Hlukhiv, Seredyna-Buda and Svesa communities.
On 24 November, russians carried out 73 shelling attacks on border areas and settlements in Sumy oblast, resulting in 190 explosions. The attacks targeted Khotin, Yunakivka, Myropilia, Bilpopillia, Krasnopillia, Korovyntsi, Buryn, Velyka Pysarivka, Esman, Shalyhyne, Seredyna-Buda and Svesa communities.
Khotin community: tank shelling (6 explosions), artillery shelling (23 explosions), FPV-drone attacks (7 explosions), GAB launches (2 explosions).
Korovyntsi community: rocket shelling was recorded. Two houses were damaged as a result of the hits.
Krasnopillia community: the enemy struck by artillery (8 explosions), mortars (10 explosions), FPV-drones (4 explosions), Lancet UAVs (2 explosions), dropped FOG from UAVs (4 explosions).
Bilopillia community: russians struck with mortars (15 explosions), artillery (8 explosions), FPV-drones (6 explosions), Lancet UAVs (1 explosion) and dropped FOG from UAVs (7 explosions).
Myropillia community: the enemy attacked by artillery (27 explosions), FPV-drone (1 explosion), UAV “Lancet” (1 explosion), dropped VOG from UAV (3 explosions).
Velyka Pysarivka community: attacked by FPV-drones (2 explosions), rocket attacks by the NAR (16 explosions). The hit occurred in a private residential building, which was completely destroyed as a result of the subsequent fire.
Svesa community: there was an attack by FPV-drones (3 explosions).
Seredyna-Buda community: the enemy attacked by an FPV-drone (1 explosion).
Yunakivka community: the russians struck by artillery (21 explosions), with GABs (4 explosions).

The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported that in Sumy oblast, border guards destroyed three drones with small arms: one Shahed-136 and two Gerber.
Chernihiv oblast
The North Operational Command reported that on 24 November, in Bobrovytsia community of Chernihiv oblast, a russian Shashed strike UAV crashed and exploded. The explosion occurred in Rudkivka village, damaging a private house.
During the day russian army attacked three border communities in Chernihiv oblast: Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka, and Snovsk communities.
Novhorod-Siverskyi community:
– 8 explosions (hits, probably FPV-drone) near Mykhalchyna-Sloboda village.
Semenivka community:
– 2 explosions (hits, probably by FPV-drone) towards Karpovychi village;
– 2 explosions (hits, probably by a 120mm mortar) and 14 explosions (hits, probably by MLRS) near Lohy village;
– 5 explosions (hits, probably by MLRS) near Zaliznyi Mist village.
Snovsk community:
– 3 explosions (hits, probably by a 120mm mortar) towards Khrinivka village.
No casualties or injuries among the local population were reported as a result of the shelling.
Nizhyn City Council reported that on 24 November, residents paid tribute to two Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers, Serhii Kovorotnyi and Ihor Vasylenko.
Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine
Dnipropetrovsk oblast
The enemy continues daily attacks on Nikopol region. Occupying forces carried out more than 15 strikes by kamikaze drones and artillery. The attacks targeted the regional centre, Marhanets and Pokrov communities. In Nikopol, 2 people were injured – a 48-year-old woman and a 54-year-old man. Both were hospitalised in moderate condition. The shelling damaged an apartment building, 9 private houses, a utility structure, a greenhouse, a gas pipeline, a power line, a solar panel, a gas station and a car.
Vinnytsia oblast
According to Mayor Serhii Morhunov, Vinnytsia oblast has supplied defenders on the frontline with FPV drones, Mavic 3-T drones, buggies, wood-burning stoves, a mobile bathhouse and other essential items.
Kirovohrad oblast
Andrii Raikovych, Head of the RMA, stated that air defence systems were active in Kirovohrad oblast, shooting down enemy UAVs. There were no casualties reported.
Poltava oblast
2 soldiers, Danylo Hryshanov from Poltava and Anatolii Kocherha from Kobeliaky community, have been killed in the war against russia. Danylo Hryshanov was killed on 8 August 2023, while performing a combat mission near Avdiivka in Donetsk oblast. Anatolii Kocherha was killed in battle on 19 November near Shakhtarske in Donetsk oblast.
Cherkasy oblast
Ihor Taburets, Head of the RMA, reported that air defence forces destroyed 17 UAVs in Cherkasy oblast. There were no injuries or damage to infrastructure reported.
Border guards from Cherkasy shot down 3 drones over Sumy oblast using small arms: 1 Shahed-136 and 2 Herber drones.
In Mezhyrichia, Kaniv region, a memorial plaque was unveiled on the facade of a school to honour Captain Ruslan Slipets, a fallen police officer. Ruslan joined the united assault brigade of Ukraine’s National Police, Liut, during the full-scale invasion. He was killed by russian shelling in Donetsk oblast. Ruslan was 41 years old.

Zaporizhzhia oblast
On the night of 25 November, russian occupiers launched a massive attack on Zaporizhzhia using kamikaze drones. The shelling caused damage to private homes, non-residential buildings, and industrial facilities, with a 13-year-old boy injured as a result.
Yesterday, the occupiers carried out 200 strikes on 9 settlements in Zaporizhzhia oblast. 107 drones of various types targeted Zaporizhzhia, Lobkove, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Bilohiria, and Novodarivka. Five MLRS strikes hit Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, and Novodanylivka, while 88 artillery strikes targeted Lobkove, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Bilohiria and Novodarivka. Ten reports were received regarding the destruction of residential buildings and infrastructure, and one person was injured due to russian attacks.
It is reported that the enemy attempted to storm Ukrainian positions twice near Novoandriivka towards Orikhiv.
The occupiers intensified home searches in temporarily occupied Melitopol. The resistance movement “Zla Mavka” reports that the occupiers target individuals with pro-Ukrainian views, checking phones, messengers, and social media accounts.
Mykolaiv oblast
Today, russians attacked the village of Solonchaky in Kutsurub community with an FPV drone during the distribution of humanitarian aid. Five people were injured, including both humanitarian mission representatives and residents.
During the night of 25 November, the occupiers targeted Mykolaiv oblast. The attack on energy infrastructure caused power outages. Most consumers have already been reconnected, and restoration work is ongoing. Air defense forces destroyed two Shahed 131/136 drones in Mykolaiv oblast.
On 24 November at 1:30pm and again on 25 November at 5:50am, the enemy used FPV drones to attack Kutsurub community. Additionally, yesterday afternoon, the enemy shelled the waters of Ochakiv community with mortars. No casualties were reported.
Odesa oblast
Today, russian terrorists attacked Odesa oblast twice using Iskander-M missiles — one in the morning targeting the city center and another in the afternoon targeting the region. The Air Force reported that one of the missiles was intercepted by air defense.
Currently, 11 people are reported injured in Odesa. Eight remain hospitalized, including one woman in critical condition, while the rest are in moderate condition. One person continues outpatient treatment.
The missile strike damaged civilian infrastructure, including 25 residential buildings, vehicles, a dental clinic, a beauty salon, shops, flower stores, and more. Two educational institutions—a school and a university sports hall—were also damaged.

Veterans in Odesa oblast and their families received over UAH 18m in grants to develop their own businesses. Odesa Regional Military Administration reported that 37 veteran-owned businesses had been established under the “Grants for Veterans and Their Families” program. Veteran entrepreneurs in the region opened cafes, coffee shops, copy centers, and other ventures.
Kherson oblast
This afternoon, russian occupation forces struck Dniprovskyi district of Kherson. As the result one man was killed. Additionally, Antonivka was attacked by a drone, where an 86-year-old woman suffered a blast injury caused by an explosive dropped from the UAV.
Yesterday, the enemy shelled Antonivka, Prydniprovske, Sadove, Komyshany, Mykilske, Inzhenerne, Zelenivka, Stanislav, Pryozerne, Veletenske, Tomyna Balka, Beryslav, Mykolaivka and Kherson. 26 structures were damaged, including 22 private houses, three apartment buildings, and a gas pipeline. Three people sustained injuries due to russian aggression.
Kherson Regional Military Administration reported two additional casualties from an attack on Bilozerka on 23 November, with victims diagnosed with blast injuries and concussions. Another resident sought medical care for injuries sustained during shelling on 19 November, diagnosed with a blast injury and shrapnel wound to the knee.
Ukrainian forces in the south eliminated 184 occupiers and destroyed 20 units of russian armored vehicles on 24 November. Additionally, eight bunkers and two ammunition storage sites were destroyed.
Three new mobile concrete shelters were installed near public transport stops in Dniprovskyi district in Kherson. These protective structures were donated by Kherson regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross. The Red Cross installed more than 30 shelters in high-traffic areas of the region.
Volunteer doctors continue their humanitarian mission to assist Kherson residents. Last week, medical teams from the “Fortitude UA” foundation provided consultations in multiple settlements of Beryslav region, including Nova Kuban, Charivne, Stiike, and Mala Oleksandrivka. Around 270 residents received free consultations with specialists, including family doctors, neurologists, ophthalmologists, endocrinologists, and cardiologists.
Two water towers were installed in the village of Sadok in Borozenka community through the initiative of the Southern Development Strategy NGO. These 25-cubic-meter towers, along with the cleaning of two wells, restored the local water supply system. As a result, approximately 230 residents now have access to clean water.

The RMA held a meeting with Marlene Madsen, Deputy Director of the Ukrainian Service of the General Directorate for Neighborhood Affairs and EU Enlargement Negotiations. They discussed the process of decentralization in Ukraine, its influence on the development of Lviv oblast and the challenges faced by the region during the war.
Lviv City Council reported that in the city, until St. Nicholas Day, the city will pay financial aid to the children of combatants who did not die while performing combat tasks.
Rivne oblast
In hospitals of Rivne oblast, rehabilitation departments continue to be created. In Berezniv, Kostopil and Sarnen hospitals, preparations for their opening are currently underway. Currently, 7 cluster and supra-cluster medical institutions of the oblast, which are part of the capable network, currently provide rehabilitation assistance.
Ternopil oblast
Last week, Krzysztof Wasilewski and Marcin Khrusciel, Consuls General of the Republic of Poland in Lutsk, paid a working visit to Pidhaietsk community. Chernivtsi oblast
Chernivtsi City Council held a meeting with representatives of UNFPA, Sida and the Embassy of Sweden in Ukraine. The key purpose of the visit was to discuss the social and demographic challenges faced by the community as a result of the war.

Rustem Umerov, Minister of Defense of Ukraine, announced that the International Drone Coalition will allocate €1.8bn for Ukraine this year.
Italy allocated €160,000 for the National Cancer Institute in Kyiv. The Ministry of Economy noted that the transferred €160,000 is only part of the funds collected by AIL within the framework of the initiative.
The United Nations Children’s Fund extends support to vulnerable categories of Ukrainians. Specifically, assistance to families with children living in a 30-km zone from the contact line in 7 oblasts will continue. They will be given UAH 21,800 to prepare for winter.
Andrii Yermak, Head of the Office of the President, met with Jean-Noel Barro, Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs of France, and Emmanuel Bonn, diplomatic adviser of the President of France. They discussed security issues, the situation on the battlefield, opposition and strengthening of the West’s position against autocracies.
In Poland, 500 people joined the Ukrainian Legion in a month of work. 10% of them are women. The 1st training at one of the training grounds in Poland will begin by the end of 2024. Approximately half of the applications were received from young people under 25 years of age.
