Donetsk oblast

The Russian army has intensified attacks on the flanks of the defense of Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad, attempting to encircle the agglomeration in a “pincer” maneuver. Increased pressure has been reported in the areas of Kotlyne and Rodynske, according to Ukraine’s 7th Air Assault Corps.

At the same time, Russian troops are trying to advance with infantry toward Hryshyne and push north of Pokrovsk. Over the past week, Ukraine’s Defense Forces have eliminated or wounded more than 250 occupiers in this direction.

Russian forces also increased the number of attacks toward the city of Lyman over the past 24 hours. The Russian army launched 14 assaults, attempting to advance near the settlements of Nadiia, Hlushchenkove, Oleksandrivka, Druzhkoliubivka, Tverdokhlibove, Drobysheve, Stavky, and Lyman, according to the General Staff.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian troops stopped 42 assaults over the past day, and 16 in the Kostiantynivka direction.

Russian forces are pressing from the areas of Kotlyne and Rodynske, attempting to break through to the northwest of the city toward Hryshyne in order to cut logistics routes into Pokrovsk, said Chief Sergeant Dmytro “Hutsul” of the 32nd Separate Mechanized Brigade. According to him, Russia is operating in small infantry groups that try to advance unnoticed through tree lines, infiltrate rear positions, and entrench themselves in ruins or debris.

At approximately 7:30 a.m., Russian forces struck a moving VAZ-2109 vehicle on a city street with an FPV drone carrying an explosive charge. All three of the victims killed were residents of Sloviansk: two were 58 years old and one was 44. Another man, aged 30, was injured. Luhansk oblast

The invaders attempted to advance 14 times towards Lyman. Another seven times towards Sloviansk. In Luhansk oblast, they attacked from the direction of Tverdokhlibove. They also sought weak spots in our defences near Nadiia. The russians fired on the positions of Ukrainian soldiers, mainly with mortars and automatic grenade launchers.

The occupiers have been postponing the start of construction of a landfill in Siverskodonetsk for the fourth year. Currently, the main work is announced for 2030-2031. That is, in five years. According to the russians, the main reason for the postponement is the unstable security situation. At the same time, the current level of security, according to the so-called ‘LNR Ministry of Education,’ allows local children to attend school.

Flooding has disrupted transport links to a number of settlements in the Luhansk region. In particular, significant problems are observed in the Aidar and Bilovodsk communities. Traffic across bridges over rivers has been blocked. It is impossible to deliver food and essential goods to some villages. For example, one of the settlements in the Aidar region can only be reached by ferry. The invaders hope that, as always, the problem will be resolved naturally.
