Towards Huliaipole, Ukrainian units repelled seven attacks near the settlements of Dobropillia, Rivnopillia, Zelenyi Hai, Vesele, Bilohiria and Ternuvate. In addition, Huliaipole, Vozdvyzhenka, Bilohiria and Ternuvate came under airstrikes.
Towards Orikhiv, the aggressor carried out one unsuccessful offensive action in the area of Stepnohirsk.

Three regions of Ukraine, namely Odesa, Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk, are still recovering from russian attacks. This was reported by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. He also noted that over the past week, russia has launched around 1,000 strike drones, 980 guided bombs, and 36 missiles of various types against Ukraine.
During the night of 16 November, Russia attacked Ukrainian territory with 176 Shahed UAVs and one Iskander-M ballistic missile.

Kharkiv oblast
Frontline
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports that two combat clashes are ongoing towards Southern Sloboda.Ukrainian troops repelled four attacks by the russian army towards Dvorichanske and Obukhivka.
Seven times russia tried to advance in the vicinity of Pishchane, Kupiansk, Holubivka, three combat clashes are ongoing.
There were 176 combat clashes in the oblast.
Towards Southern Sloboda, there were seven combat clashes in the vicinity of Vovchansk and towards Dvorichanske.
Towards Kupiansk, there were five attacks. The defense forces repelled the enemy’s assault actions in the vicinity of Bohuslavka, Kupiansk and towards Pishchane and Novoplatonivka.
Shelling
Viktor Kovalenko, Head of the RMA, reports that russian FPV drones attacked Liutivka, Zolochiv community. As a result of the strikes, a private house, outbuildings and power grids were damaged, and a car was destroyed.
A 61-year-old man received a shrapnel wound to his leg as a result of a russian airstrike on Katerynivka, Kupiansk region.
A russian drone hit a playground in Kholodnohirskyi district of Kharkiv, said Mayor Terekhov. According to him, there were no injuries or deaths. Several windows were broken in nearby buildings.
Over the past day, 5 settlements were hit by enemy strikes.
As a result of shelling in the village of Katerynivka, Velykyi Burluk community, a 61-year-old man was injured.
The enemy actively used various types of weapons:

Civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged and destroyed:

The transit evacuation point in Lozova received 178 people. 20 people remained. A total of 12,414 people have been registered at the Point since it began operating.
Petro Tokar, Head of Kharkiv region police, says that compared to August 2025, the evacuation rate in Kharkiv oblast has doubled — to 55-60 people per day. According to him, the most difficult area for evacuation remains Kupiansk region.
Iryna Panchenko, Kharkiv representative of the National Council for Television and Radio Broadcasting in the region, says that there are 14 local radio broadcasters registered in Kharkiv oblast, 11 of which are operational. On May 8, 2024, a Russian missile hit a sports field in the Saltivskyi district of Kharkiv, where the boys were playing football. All three were injured, and Artur’s leg was amputated by doctors. Donetsk oblast

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports that on November 15, Ukrainian defenders cleared 26 kilometers of occupiers towards Pokrovsk region.
Roman Balaboiko, an inspector of the border service of the Pomsta brigade, says that near Kostiantynivka, russian army infantrymen are trying to bypass the positions of the Defense Forces in order to accumulate in the rear of the Ukrainian military. To infiltrate, the occupiers are changing into civilian clothes. russian troops often attack at night or in the dark and cover themselves with heat-reflecting capes.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the Ukrainian Defense Forces have struck a drone storage base of the russian Rubicon UAV unit in the temporarily occupied part of Donetsk oblast. This is the second attack on this unit of the russian army since the beginning of the month.
Yulia Stepaniuk, Head of the communications department of the 117th Motorized Rifle Brigade, informs that the Russian army is trying to work on Ukrainian logistics towards Pokrovsk using drones. Reconnaissance UAVs monitor the routes of the Defense Forces, and then drones fly to these roads, with which they try to hit transport.
The General staff reports that towards Kostiantynivka, the russian army carried out 19 assaults. Attacks by Russian troops were recorded near Pleshchiivka, Kostiantynivka, Rusyn Yar, Sofiivka and Berestok. The largest number of battles was towards Pokrovsk – 52 assaults, another 20 attacks were towards Oleksandrivka.
Shelling
One person was killed and five injured in shelling in Donetsk oblast.
On November 15, there were 1,988 enemy strikes on the front line and residential areas.
6 settlements were under fire: the cities of Kostiantynivka, Kramatorsk, the villages of Andriivka, Malynivka, Nikonorivka and Pavlivka.
6 civilian objects were destroyed, including one residential building.
In Malynivka, russians killed a civilian with an FPV drone and wounded another.
As a result of FPV drone attacks, 5 civilians were injured in Kostiantynivka, Andriivka, Nikonorivka and Pavlivka. 3 vehicles were damaged.
The enemy struck Kramatorsk with FPV and Italmas drones. An apartment building, a car, and a critical infrastructure facility were damaged.
Luhansk oblast
The occupiers tried to find weak spots in the defense of Ukrainian soldiers near ten settlements. They stormed 19 times – 12 towards Slaviansk and another 7 towards Lyman, shelling with cannon artillery and actively using FPV drones.
In a couple of months, migrant craftswomen from Luhansk oblast made 450 sets of finger toys for children who are often forced to stay in shelters due to shelling. Miniature seals, created by hand, were included in the “Children’s Mental First Aid Kits”, which help children overcome stress and anxiety in front-line areas.
In the so-called “lpr”, the population is being prepared for new mobilization measures. The “special gatherings” that recently began in the occupied Luhansk oblast have been declared by locals as a new wave of hidden mobilization. This is attributed to the significant losses of russians at the front and reduction payments when concluding the contract, which was the result of a significant deficit of funds in the budgets of the rf regions. The losses are going to be filled, first of all, at the expense of the captured territories.
In the old districts of Siverskodonetsk, the invaders brought an apartment building to a state of emergency. They organized a demonstration repair there, having only managed to replace the windows. However, they did it so poorly that cracks appeared on the walls.

Kyiv oblast
The State Emergency Service showed the inside of a damaged nine-story building in Kyiv, which was hit by an enemy Shaheed on November 14. This is the consequences of hitting a residential panel building in Desnyanskyi district. The explosion damaged the outer walls and collapsed the ceiling, which caused the death of an elderly couple.

Kyiv City State Administration reported that Kyiv is increasing power sustainability of educational institutions. Currently, generators of various capacities have been installed in 293 kindergartens and 386 schools. 883 educational institutions (88%) are equipped with backup lighting for shelters, and solar panels have been installed in 14.
Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klychko reported that the capital’s community has transferred another batch of aid to the defenders at the front. Almost 1,500 more UAVs of various types have left for the fighters of the 112th Terrobarona Brigade of Kyiv. Since the beginning of the year, the capital has transferred almost 2,000 UAVs of various types to this brigade.
Foreign diplomats recently got acquainted with rehabilitation practices at Pushcha-Vodytsia Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Representatives of the embassies of Azerbaijan, Iraq, Brazil, as well as international organizations visited the rehabilitation center, where the fighters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system are undergoing rehabilitation. The Center’s management presented a comprehensive approach to rehabilitation, which includes medical care, psychological support, and social reintegration.
The State Emergency Service reported that in Kyiv oblast, actions were practiced in the event of a downed enemy UAV falling on the territory of a lyceum. According to the legend of the exercises, a fire broke out as a result of falling debris. The State Emergency Service pyrotechnicians were the first to arrive; they examined the territory and gave permission for further work. During the air alarm, rescuers conducted reconnaissance and evacuated employees and students. The supposed victim was evacuated and handed over to doctors.
The investigative film of the Ukrainian service of Radio Liberty “Bucha. Yablunska” won the Best Investigation nomination from the Association for International Broadcasters (AIB). The jury praised the film as “an exceptional and unforgettable work” and a powerful example of investigative journalism. The award was received by the film’s author, Radio Liberty journalist Dmytro Dzhulai, at a gala ceremony in London.
Zhytomyr oblast
The State Emergency Service of Zhytomyr region reported that a new volunteer fire department has been opened in the village of Velyka Tsvilia, Yemilchyn community. It will serve about 20 settlements, which will reduce the response time to calls. The report states that volunteers are the first assistants to rescuers who quickly respond to fires and emergencies in their community.
Sumy oblast
The General Staff reports that towards Northern Sloboda and Kursk, there were two combat engagements. The enemy carried out four airstrikes, dropped 11 guided aerial bombs, and conducted 179 artillery attacks, including 10 using multiple launch rocket systems.
Serhii Kryvosheienko, Head of the Municipal Military Administration, said that the russian army attacked Sumy community by three drones. At around 1am on the night of 16 November, three Shahed UAVs struck the territory of one of Sumy community’s starosta districts. The attack caused a fire at an industrial facility and a private outbuilding. Thirteen buildings and 17 households were damaged, including 69 windows and seven roofs. More than 30 homes were left without electricity.

Between the morning of 15 November and the morning of 16 November, russian forces carried out more than 20 attacks on 15 settlements across 9 territorial communities of the oblast. The highest number of strikes was recorded in Sumy and Shostka regions. The enemy actively used guided aerial bombs (over 10 strikes), UAVs (up to 5 strikes), UAV-dropped VOG munitions (5 strikes), and also launched FPV drone attacks. Over the course of the day, air raid alerts in the oblast lasted a total of 18 hours and 2 minutes.
Consequences of russian attacks in Sumy oblast as of the morning of 16 November:
- in Sumy community, an 86-year-old woman was affected by a UAV attack (acute stress reaction). At least 15 private households, civilian infrastructure facilities, non-residential buildings and a vehicle were damaged;
- in Seredyna-Buda community, a private residential house was damaged;
- in Hlukhiv community, a private residential house was damaged.
Chernihiv oblast
Oleksandr Seliverstov, Head of the Regional Military Administration, reported that on 16 November, russian forces struck a civilian infrastructure facility in Novhorod-Siverskyi by a Lancet drone. A civilian woman reportedly sustained a concussion.
On the morning of 16 November, russia attacked the centre of Semenivka by a Molniia strike UAV. A non-operational administrative building, as well as façades and windows of residential houses, were damaged.
Chernihivoblenergo informed that a power infrastructure facility in Koriukivka region was damaged in a russian attack on 16 November, leaving part of the communities without electricity. Emergency repair work will begin as soon as the security situation allows.
According to the North Operational Command, as a result of an enemy attack on the evening of 15 November in Semenivka, the building of the employment centre was damaged. Explosions from russian strike drones were also recorded overnight in Chernihiv and Nizhyn regions.
Viacheslav Chaus, Head of the Regional Military Administration, said that as of 09:45am on 16 November, parts of Nizhyn and Pryluky regions remained without electricity due to a damaged power facility in Nizhyn. According to him, russian forces attacked the facility with Geran drones on 15 November. Transport infrastructure was also damaged in Nizhyn area.
Oleksandr Seliverstov, Head of the Regional Military Administration, reported that on 15 November, a strike UAV explosion in Bylka village in Korop community ignited an unoccupied building. The House of Culture and residential buildings nearby were also damaged.
According to Chernihiv Border Guard Detachment, on 15 November, russian forces attacked four border communities in Chernihiv oblast: Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka, Horodnia and Snovsk. The enemy carried out mortar shelling (8 explosions) and AGS strikes (7 explosions), launched FPV drones (13 explosions), and dropped an explosive device from a UAV (1 explosion).
Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine
Dnipropetrovsk oblast
Nikopol region: From evening until morning, the enemy continued shelling the regional centre and Marhanets community by artillery and drones. A fire broke out. A private house and a gymnasium were damaged.
Synelnykove region: In Vasylkivka community, enemy attacks destroyed a private house and damaged four private homes, a car, garages and outbuildings. Infrastructure was also damaged in Synelnykove itself. The occupiers additionally struck Mykolaivka community by a UAV, damaging an enterprise. Updated information indicates that yesterday’s attacks also affected a private house and infrastructure.
Pavlohrad region: In the regional centre, a 51-year-old man was injured in a UAV attack. A fire broke out and infrastructure was damaged.
Nikopol region: Over the course of the day, the enemy launched 26 artillery and drone strikes on the region. They targeted the regional centre and Myrove, Pokrovske, Chervonohryhorivka and Marhanets communities. A fuel station, a private house, an outbuilding, a café, an enterprise and infrastructure were damaged. Updated information indicates that a 26-year-old woman was injured in the night attack on Marhanets. A private house was damaged.
Synelnykove region: The occupiers struck Synelnykove by a UAV and hit Mezhova community by guided aerial bombs. Five people were injured — a 55-year-old woman, two 52-year-old women, and two men aged 25 and 34. Four shops, two vehicles and a kiosk were damaged.
Vinnytsia oblast
In Haisyn, an event was held in support of prisoners of war and missing service members. Its purpose was to remind the public of the need to bring Ukrainian soldiers home.
Kirovohrad oblast
Haivoron town, Kirovohrad oblast, paid tribute to serviceman Kostyantyn Tsioma, known by the call signs “Umka” and “Vorchun”. He was 51. On 8 November 2025, while on duty, he lost consciousness due to an intracerebral haemorrhage. He died in hospital on 12 November 2025.
In the town of Dolynska, Kirovohrad oblast, an event titled “Do Not Stay Silent! Captivity Kills!” was held in support of Ukrainian soldiers held in russian captivity or listed as missing. Its goal was to draw attention to the need for their release and return home.
Cherkasy oblast
In Cherkasy, an event in support of prisoners of war and missing soldiers — “Do Not Stay Silent — Captivity Kills” — took place. Relatives, friends of defenders, volunteers, service members and residents gathered in the square with flags and posters.

Zaporizhzhia oblast
On 15 November, the occupiers carried out 769 strikes on 18 settlements in Zaporizhzhia oblast. russian forces launched six airstrikes on Malokaterynivka, Ternuvate, Prymorske, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, and Kosivtseve. 480 UAVs of various types (mostly FPVs) attacked Komyshuvakha, Bilenke, Chervonodniprovka, Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Stepove, Huliaipole, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Varvarivka, and Rivnopillia. Five MLRS strikes hit Stepnohirsk, Bilohiria, and Rivnopillia. 278 artillery attacks targeted Chervonodniprovka, Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Huliaipole, Orikhiv, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Varvarivka, and Rivnopillia. Four reports were received about damaged homes and vehicles. One person was killed and one injured as a result of a russian attack on Zaporizhzhia region.
On 16 November, law enforcement officers launched an investigation into violations of the laws and customs of war by the russian army. According to the investigation, russian troops executed three captured Ukrainian servicemen towards Huliaipole.
On 15 November, Ukraine’s Defense Forces repelled 12 russian attacks towards Huliaipole, five towards Orikhiv, and another 20 towards Oleksandrivske.
Mykolaiv oblast
During the night of 16 November, air defense forces shot down or suppressed six Shahed-131/136 strike UAVs and various types of decoy drones over Mykolaiv oblast.
Yesterday, the enemy carried out nine FPV-drone attacks on Ochakiv and Kutsurub communities. There were no casualties.
Odesa oblast
Last night, the russians once again attacked Odesa oblast with strike drones. The attack damaged energy facilities, including a solar power plant, and caused fires.

Kherson oblast
Around 13:00, russian forces attacked a civilian car in Kherson with a drone. Three people were injured.
At midnight, russians attacked a man with a drone in Dniprovskyi district of Kherson. A 37-year-old Kherson resident sustained a blast injury and shrapnel wounds to his leg and arm.
According to Kherson Regional Military Administration, today, four people sought medical assistance after being injured yesterday morning due to russian shelling of Dniprovskyi district of Kherson. The victims suffered blast injuries and concussions.
Yesterday, 15 November, the russians attacked Kherson oblast using artillery, drones of various types, and UAV-dropped munitions. Enemy strikes damaged 39 private houses, seven apartment buildings, gas pipelines, three cars, a power line, an utility facility, a city bus, a police service vehicle, a commercial kiosk, and a garage. As a result of russian shelling, three people were killed and nine were injured.
During the past day, 15 November, the southern defense forces eliminated 204 occupiers and struck 32 russian personnel shelters. Ukrainian defenders also destroyed an armored combat vehicle, 12 artillery systems, 18 vehicles, 16 attack drones, an electronic warfare system, a radar station, an armored recovery vehicle, 10 motorcycles, two generators, six various antennas, a storage site, and six russian UAV operator teams.

Students of the Radekhiv school also joined the good cause, who, together with their parents, donated over UAH 4,000 and packages with hygiene products, snacks, coffee, tea, socks, etc.
Morshyn community purchased 34 electronic warfare systems worth EUR 2m to the 45th Separate Artillery Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The French Foreign Ministry strongly condemned the massive russian attack on the night of 14 November, which injured more than three dozen people in Kyiv. Paris expressed its full solidarity with Ukraine, its citizens and authorities, as well as with the employees of the Azerbaijani embassy, which was also hit by the strike. Belgium also condemned the russian strikes and called them war crimes.
