It has been the 1361st day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression. 

 

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 4 pm:   

Currently, the enemy attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 69 times.

Border areas of the country were affected by russian artillery shelling, in particular the settlements of Bobylivka in Sumy oblast; Serhiivske, Khrinivka in Chernihiv oblast.

Towards Northern Sloboda and Kursk, the enemy tried to conduct offensive actions. The enemy also carried out 94 attacks, including five from multiple launch rocket systems.

Towards Southern Sloboda, the Ukrainian military repelled one enemy assault in the vicinity of Dvorichanske.

Towards Kupiansk, the enemy attacked twice near Pishchane and Novoplatonivka. Currently, one battle is underway.

Towards Lyman, Ukrainian units repelled two attacks. Another battle is ongoing. The enemy is attacking in the vicinity of Kolodiazi and towards the settlements of Druzheliubivka and Borova.

Towards Slaviansk, Ukrainian soldiers repelled five enemy attacks near Serebrianka, Verkhnokamianske, Pereizne and Zvanivka, another battle is ongoing.

Towards Kramatorsk, there were three enemy assaults in the vicinity of Minkivka and Predtechyne.

Towards Kostiantynivka, russian occupiers stormed the positions of Ukrainian defenders 11 times near Pleshchiivka, Kostiantynivka, Rusyn Yar and in the vicinity of Sofiivka. Ukrainian units repelled eight attacks, three more enemy attacks are still ongoing.

Towards Pokrovsk, the occupiers carried out 29 attacks in the vicinity of the settlements of Chervonyi Lyman, Rodynske, Novoekonomichne, Myrnohrad, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Filiia, Dachne. Restraining the enemy onslaught, Ukrainian defenders repelled 27 attacks, and fighting continues.

Towards Oleksandrivka, the invaders tried six times to advance on the positions of Ukrainian troops near the settlements of Sosnivka, Pryvilne, and Zelenyi Hai. Three clashes are still ongoing.

Towards Huliaipole, Ukrainian defenders are repelling three attacks near Varvarivka. Zaliznychne was subjected to an enemy airstrike.

Towards Orikhiv, the enemy attacked three times: near Stepnohirsk and Stepove. One battle is still ongoing. Primorske and Malokaterynivka were subjected to airstrikes.

Towards Kherson, the enemy once attacked the positions of our defenders near Antonivskyi Bridge.


Mykhailo Fedorov, Minister of Digital Transformation, First Deputy Prime Minister, reports that there are already over 23 million users in the Diia. He also reported that more than 2,500 schools have joined the Mriia educational ecosystem.

The warehouse of one of the country’s largest pharmaceutical distributors, Optima Farma, was destroyed by the third russian attack.

Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

In the temporarily occupied parts of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts, activists of the Yellow Ribbon held an action against the russian occupation. Ukrainian symbols, in particular, ribbons and posters, were hung in the cities.

Kharkiv oblast

Front

The General Staff reports that towards Southern Sloboda, Ukrainian military repelled one enemy assault in the vicinity of Dvorichanske.

russia attacked twice towards Pishchane and Novoplatonivka. Currently, one battle is underway.

Towards Lyman, russia attacked near Borova.

There were 265 combat clashes in the oblast.

Towards Southern Sloboda, there were 11 combat clashes yesterday near Vovchansk, Synelnykove, Odradne, Dvorichanske and towards Kolodiazne.

Towards Kupiansk, there were 5 attacks. The defense forces repelled the enemy’s assault actions towards Petropavlivka, Pishchane and Novoplatonivka.

The commander of the Achilles 429th separate regiment of unmanned systems Yurii Fedorenko reported that the gas pipe, through which the russian military penetrated the outskirts of Kupiansk in September, is now unsuitable for the passage of manpower or equipment. According to him, the occupiers are trying to cross the Oskil River on rafts and inflatable boats, but only about a third of them successfully make the crossing.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to clear Kupiansk of Russian sabotage groups. No new attempts by the enemy to penetrate the city have been recorded, and those russians who previously entered Kupiansk have not managed to establish control over any area. Infiltration of additional enemy forces is complicated.

Shelling

City mayor Serhii Zelenskyi reported that on the night of November 15, the russian army struck Lozova community with four UAVs. According to him, as a result of the attack, critical infrastructure facilities were damaged, which caused interruptions in heat supply.

Over the past day, 9 settlements in Kharkiv oblast were hit by enemy strikes.

A 59-year-old man was injured as a result of shelling in the city of Lozova.

The enemy actively used various types of weapons:

▪️8 GABs;

▪️14 Geran-2 UAVs;

▪️3 FPV drones;

▪️9 UAVs (type is being determined).

Civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged and destroyed:

▪️In Bohodukhiv region, 2 private houses, outbuildings, a car, and power grids were damaged (Liutivka village);

▪️In Kharkiv region, 2 cars (Cherkaski Tyshky village), a car (Lyptsi village), an apartment building, and power grids (Vilshany village) were damaged;

▪️In Lozova region, 5 private houses, outbuildings, 4 civilian enterprises, 2 cars, and a veterinary laboratory were damaged.

Other

The transit evacuation point in Lozova accepted 151 people. 27 people remained. Since the start of work, 12,236 people have been registered at the Point.

Volodymyr Skichko, Spokesman for the JSC Kharkivoblenergo, says that Kharkiv and the region continue to recover after the russian missile and drone attack on Ukraine’s energy sector on November 8. There is electricity supply in the region, except for frontline areas where active hostilities are underway. Electricity outage schedules are being introduced in the city and oblast. Due to voltage surges and power outages, there is a risk of household appliances failing.

Donetsk oblast

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that towards Pokrovsk, there were 107 assaults repelled by Ukrainian troops. In particular, the invaders attacked near Volodymyrivka, Rodynske, Lysivka, in Pokrovsk, near Udachne, Kotlyne and Horikhove.

Compared to the previous day, russian troops increased the number of attacks on all six defense directions in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts.

The defense forces blew up part of the road from temporarily occupied Selydove to Pokrovsk. Earlier, russian troops were able to bring some light equipment into the city along this route. According to the 7th DShV Corps, at least two air strikes were carried out along the road, the russian army will not be able to use it to infiltrate Pokrovsk.

Assault troops of the 425th Regiment “Skelia” cleared the dugouts of the russian army in the western part of Pokrovsk. The fighters eliminated five occupiers: three in positions, two more who tried to escape were caught up with a bomber near the railway.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, towards Pokrovsk, the Defense Forces neutralized almost 200 infantrymen of the russian army.

Fighters of Luhansk Border Guard Unit, together with adjacent units, repelled another russian assault in the direction of Volodymyrivka in Donetsk oblast. russian troops tried to take advantage of the bad weather in the direction and enter the village in armored vehicles.

The RMA reports that the russian army shelled Kramatorsk with two drones on the morning of November 15. One of the drones hit a residential high-rise building, the other – on the territory of an enterprise.

According to the RMA, at night, russian troops attacked Sloviansk with a Geran-2 drone. Damaged houses are reported on the outskirts of the city.

At night, russian troops attacked an infrastructure facility in Kramatorsk region. According to Donetsk SES, a fire broke out at the site of the shelling, which was localized to an area of ​​200 square meters.

On November 14, there were 1,988 enemy strikes on the front line and residential areas.

8 settlements were under fire: Druzhkivka, Kostiantynivka, Kramatorsk, Lyman, Sloviansk, Pokrovsk, the village of Malotaranivka, and the village of Pryvillia.

9 civilian facilities were destroyed, including 2 residential buildings.

russians struck Kramatorsk with two GAB-250 bombs, FPV and Molniya-2 drones, injuring a civilian, damaging an infrastructure facility, a civilian car and special equipment.

In Lyman, a civilian was injured as a result of a FPV drone hit. Another shelling damaged an apartment building.

In Malotaranivka, Kramatorsk community, a private house was damaged due to a drone attack.

The enemy fired three Geran-2 UAVs at Privillia, Cherkaske community, damaging railway infrastructure.

Kramatorsk community was without electricity since Thursday, November 13. According to the Ministry of Energy, emergency power outages throughout the oblast are associated with missile and drone strikes on energy facilities. As of 3:00 p.m., electricity supply began to be restored in various areas of the region, two days after the blackout began.

Luhansk oblast

Towards Lyman, there were 25 enemy attacks. In Luhansk oblast, they tried to break through the Ukrainian defenses near Novoiehorivka and Tverdokhlibove. They shelled Ukrainian fortifications mostly from barrel artillery installations and using drones. The invaders carried out another 17 assaults towards Slaviansk.

The Redut Center for Military-Patriotic Education of Youth was opened at the Pedagogical University in Luhansk. The institution will be attended by both students of this and other higher educational institutions, as well as schoolchildren. During the classes, the invaders will conduct fire and tactical training with them, and will also teach them how to fly UAVs. The so-called “Ministry of Education and Science of the lpr” supported this idea of ​​​​militarizing youth.

The first batch of reservists was gathered in the occupied territory of Luhansk oblast. The russian Defense Ministry promised to train them exclusively for the protection of infrastructure facilities. However, they were immediately sent to training centers. The “special training” will last for two months. In each administrative-territorial unit, the military enlistment offices have established a corresponding plan for a new version of forced mobilization.

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

The death toll from the russian attack on 14 November has risen to seven. In Kyiv, a woman who was injured during the shelling died in hospital on the morning of 15 November.On the evening of 14 November, the number of victims of the enemy attack on Kyiv has risen to 36, according to Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klychko. Six of them are in hospital, with five being in serious condition.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported on the morning of 15 November that search and rescue operations had been completed in Desnianskyi district of the capital. Six people died in a nine-storey building as a result of a massive russian attack on 14 November. Five people were injured, including one child. The State Emergency Service rescued 17 people, including one child. Psychological assistance was provided to 252 people. A total of 262 tonnes of building structures and timber were dismantled and removed.

Kyiv City State Administration reported that on the night of 14 November, during a russian missile and drone attack, more than 19,500 residents took shelter in the metro with 1,200 children among them. The air raid alert in the capital lasted more than 5 hours. The metro system reminds residents that 46 underground stations in the capital’s metro system are open 24 hours a day as shelters. All lobbies are open for entry.

As a result of russian shelling of Kyiv on the night of 14 November, the Azerbaijani embassy was damaged. According to the Azerbaijani publication Azertaj, a crack formed in the embassy building from a rocket strike. Part of the wall was destroyed, windows broken, and the cars of Azerbaijani diplomats damaged.

Kyiv Institute of Automation was damaged as a result of shelling on the night of 14 November. The strike hit the roof of the building. Artists’ studios were among the damaged premises.

According to the Wildlife Rescue Centre, a roe deer rescued after a traffic accident did not survive the massive russian attack on Kyiv oblast. The disoriented animal with severe traumatic brain injury was brought to the shelter for rehabilitation by police officers in early October. Her condition improved, and she was recovering. But on the night of 14 November, during russian shelling, the animal’s heart could not withstand the loud explosions and stopped.

On 15 November, an event called ‘Empty Chairs’ was announced in Kyiv in support of Ukrainian political prisoners. During the event, stories will be told about missing, illegally imprisoned and captured Ukrainian authors, artists and human rights defenders. A symbolic installation of empty chairs with the names of Ukrainian political prisoners will also be set up on Sophia Square.

Zhytomyr oblast

Malyn Lyceum No. 4 in Zhytomyr oblast has begun installing solar panels on the roof of its building. The lyceum will be the first educational institution in the community to use solar energy to meet its needs. The project is being implemented with the support of a Lithuanian company that works in the field of solar panel installation. Its estimated cost is about UAH 6 million.

According to the Regional State Administration, despite the war and difficult weather conditions, Zhytomyr oblast is confidently completing its autumn sowing. More than 96% of winter crops have already been sown.

Sumy oblast

On the morning of 15 November the General Staff reported that towards Northern Sloboda and Kursk, one combat engagement took place. russian forces carried out three airstrikes, dropping five guided bombs, and conducted 199 attacks, including three using multiple launch rocket systems.

The Regional Military Administration informed that as a result of the russian UAV attack in Sumy on 14 November, five people were injured. A 17-year-old boy remains in hospital. Four others received medical assistance at the scene. Several residential buildings, public transport vehicles, cars and non-residential structures were damaged. Emergency response efforts are ongoing.

Between the morning of 14 November and the morning of 15 November, russian forces launched more than 50 attacks on 25 settlements across 13 territorial communities in the oblast. The highest number of strikes was recorded in Sumy and Shostka regions. The enemy actively used guided aerial bombs (almost 10 strikes), UAVs (5 strikes), dropped VOG munitions from drones (5 strikes), and also carried out FPV drone attacks and a missile strike. Air raid alerts in the oblast lasted a total of 17 hours and 29 minutes over the day.

Consequences of russian attacks in Sumy oblast as of the morning of 15 November:

in Sumy community, UAV attacks injured a 17-year-old boy, women aged 22 and 47, and men aged 50 and 78. Civilian infrastructure facilities, multi-storey residential buildings, non-residential structures and public transport were damaged;

in Bilopillia community, an 18-year-old man was injured in a UAV strike. A private household was damaged;

in Velyka Pysarivka community, a private household was damaged;

in Krasnopillia community, non-residential buildings were damaged;

in Seredyna-Buda community, a civilian infrastructure facility was damaged;

in Znob-Novhorodske community, private residential buildings and non-residential premises were damaged;

in Esman community, a private household was destroyed;

in Shalyhyne community, a private household was destroyed;

in Shostka community, a civilian infrastructure facility was damaged and a private household was destroyed.

During the day, 26 people were evacuated from border communities by local authorities in cooperation with units of the State Emergency Service, the National Police and volunteer organisations.

The Restoration Agency reported that reconstruction of a multi-storey residential building on Neskuchanska Street continues in Trostianets. The five-storey building was damaged in March 2022 as a result of shelling by russian tanks. At that time, 30 families lost their homes. Major repairs began at the end of 2023, and the main works have been completed.

Chernihiv oblast

According to Chernihivoblenergo, a key energy facility in Nizhyn region of Chernihiv oblast was damaged by a russian strike, leaving a large part of the region without power as of 1:43pm on 15 November.

Mykola Kolisnyk, Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine, reported that as a result of the russian attack on the oblast’s energy infrastructure, 332,000 consumers were left without electricity. Half of them had power restored within several hours.

The North Operational Command said that on 14 November, the russian army attacked  Kholmy community in  Koriukivka region by a drone, damaging a residential building and an outbuilding.

According to Oleksandr Seliverstov, Head of  Novhorod-Siverskyi Regional Military Administration, on 14 November, russian forces struck the centre of Semenivka twice. The first strike occurred during the day using a Molniia UAV; the second, in the evening, was carried out by a Lancet drone. Two vehicles were damaged in the first attack, and later a civilian infrastructure building and the façade of a nearby shop were damaged.

Pavlo Miroshnychenko, Head of Koriukivka Regional Military Administration, informed that russian forces attacked  Mena community twice on 14 November by drones. Civilian houses and industrial infrastructure were damaged. At least five strikes were recorded. Fires broke out at the impact sites and were extinguished by rescuers.

According to the Chernihiv Border Guard Detachment, throughout 14 November, russian forces attacked four border communities in Chernihiv oblast: Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka, Horodnia and Snovsk. The enemy carried out mortar shelling (29 explosions), artillery strikes (8 explosions) and MLRS attacks (30 explosions), launched “Lancet” drones (1 strike), Molniia drones (1 strike), FPV drones (13 explosions), and dropped explosive devices from UAVs (3 explosions). Ten settlements came under fire.

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

Mykola Lukashuk, Head of the Regional Council, reported that several fires broke out following the attack in the oblast. Businesses and vehicles were damaged.

In Nikopol region, from evening until night, the occupiers continued shelling the region with artillery, UAVs and MLRS.

They targeted the regional centre, as well as  Myrove, Marhanets and Chervonohryhorivka communities. A 65-year-old man was killed. A fire broke out. Four private houses, an apartment building, an outbuilding, a business, vehicles, a non-operational building, a greenhouse, a hothouse and a gas pipeline were damaged. Updated information indicates that another private house and an outbuilding were damaged in  Marhanets community due to the evening shelling.

In Synelnykove region, russian forces struck  Rozdory and Pokrovske communities with UAVs. A 52-year-old man was injured. Fires occurred. One private house was destroyed and another damaged, and a single-storey building and a cultural facility were affected.

In Nikopol region, throughout the day, the enemy continued terrorising civilians. They shelled the regional centre, as well as Myrove, Marhanets, Pokrovske and Chervonohryhorivka communities by artillery and UAVs. Five people were injured: a 60-year-old man was hospitalised in critical condition, and men aged 54, 48, 46 and a 55-year-old woman were also wounded. Fires broke out. Three private houses, three outbuildings, a municipal enterprise, a shop, two petrol stations, a vehicle, a moped, a summer house, gas pipelines and power lines were damaged.

In Synelnykove region, the occupiers struck Mykolaivka and Pokrovske communities with guided aerial bombs and a drone. A man was killed. A fire broke out. Thirteen private houses and an excavator were damaged.

Kirovohrad oblast

Kirovohrad oblast paid tribute to Serhii Haidar. He was killed near Kostiantynivka town in Donetsk oblast. He is survived by his daughter, mother, father and brother.

Cherkasy oblast

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has posthumously awarded the Golden Star order to a fallen defender from Cherkasy — Senior Lieutenant Oleksandr Bondarenko. He presented the award to the soldier’s family. In December 2024, near Pokrovsk, Oleksandr Bondarenko took part in the capture of a defensive line and coordinated the actions of assault groups. He later carried out combat missions in russia’s Kursk and Belgorod oblasts. On 26 April this year, he led an assault group and brought it to its position. However, during a small-arms battle with the enemy, he sustained fatal injuries.

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast

Ivan Fedorov, Head of Zaporizhzhia RMA, reported that 1 person was killed and another injured as a result of a russian attack on Zaporizhzhia oblast. The enemy deliberately struck a group of fishermen by an FPV drone on the Dnipro River shoreline in Bilenke Pershe.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces reported that 4 russian attacks near Stepnohirsk and in the direction of Prymorske and Novodanylivka were repelled by the Defence Forces in Orikhiv region. On Huliaipole region, russian forces carried out 15 assaults in the areas of Solodke, Yablukove, Zelenyi Hai and Varvarivka.

Ivan Fedorov, Head of the RMA, stated that on 14 November, the russian military launched 663 strikes on 18 towns and villages in Zaporizhzhia oblast. Among them, 403 drones targeted Kushuhum, Komyshuvakha, Bilenke, Chervonodniprovka, Shyroke, Prymorske, Stepove, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Solodke, Zelenyi Hai and Varvarivka.

The National Police reported that 36 people, including a 3-year-old child, were evacuated from frontline settlements in Polohy and Zaporizhzhia regions.

According to the State Emergency Service of the oblast, a fire broke out in Bilenke due to russian shelling on 14 November. A car was burning across an area of 4 sq.m.

Mykolaiv oblast

Based on the information provided by Mykolaiv RMA, on 14 November, russian forces carried out 7 FPV drone attacks on Ochakiv, Kutsurub and Halytsynove communities. One of the strikes damaged a private house in Lupareve village. There were no injuries reported.

Odesa oblast

The Air Force reported that in the morning, a russian UAV was observed moving near Berezivka on a northbound course.

Kherson oblast

The Prosecutor’s Office reported that as of 5:30pm, 3 people were killed and 6 injured in Kherson oblast as a result of russian shelling. Private and apartment buildings, a kiosk and a vehicle were damaged.

According to the RMA, around 3:30pm, russian forces shelled Komyshany village near Kherson, severely injuring a 61-year-old woman, who was taken to hospital.

Referring to the CMA, an 84-year-old woman was injured at around 2pm during shelling of Korabelnyi district of Kherson. She sustained a concussion, blast injuries and a hypertensive crisis.

Kherson RMA informed that 4 men were injured in the Korabelnyi district earlier in the morning. One of them is in critical condition.

Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of the RMA, reported that at around 10am, russian troops fired artillery at Kherson, hitting a house and killing an 88-year-old woman.

In the morning, russian troops shelled Mykilske village, killing a 37-year-old man.

On 14 November, 1 person was killed and 7 injured in Kherson oblast as a result of shelling and drone attacks. Administrative buildings, a cellular tower, 15 private houses and vehicles were damaged. The russian military attacked 36 settlements.

Yaroslav Shanko, Head of the CMA, said that a 63-year-old man was killed in Kherson after russian forces dropped an explosive from a drone at around 10:10pm in Dniprovskyi district of Kherson.

According to the City Military Administration, last night, a 33-year-old man was injured in another drone attack in Dniprovskyi district. He sustained mine-blast trauma and shrapnel wounds.

Latest news for today in the western regions of Ukraine

Volyn oblast

Marianiv Lyceum honored the memory of a graduate who gave his life defending the independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine. On 12 November, 2025, a solemn opening and consecration of a memorial plaque in honor of Yuzva Oleksandr took place.

Zakarpattia oblast

Representatives of the Norwegian Center for Personal Identification visited the oblast for the 1st time. The focus was on the latest changes in the design and issuance of identification documents in Ukraine, the use of their digital counterparts, the functioning of the Diia application and more.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

Within the framework of regional programs to support military formations in the Carpathian region, the necessary equipment and machinery worth over UAH 1.8m was sent to the 50th Regiment of the National Guard of Ukraine and the Military Unit A1807.

Lviv oblast

At the request of the military, the staff of the National Nature Park Skolivskie Beskydy purchased 2 car heaters (WEBASTO), 2 laptops, 2 walkie-talkies, a 10 kV diesel generator and diesel fuel. The total amount of funds donated by the park employees amounted to almost UAH 200,000.

Rivne oblast

46 children from Rivne oblast went to Artek for rehabilitation. These are children of military personnel, orphans, those with disabilities, and other privileged categories. Over the previous 10 shifts, 370 children from Rivne oblast have already rested at the Artek international center in Pushcha-Vodytsa.

Ternopil oblast

Ternopil community sent 4 DJI Mavic 3 Pro quadcopters to the 156th Separate Mechanized Brigade.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

There was an attack on the territory of the oblast. The Air Defense Forces and Means were working. There were no deaths, injuries or destruction.

Chernivtsi oblast

A medical initiative for free dental implants is being launched in Chernivtsi. Veterans, military personnel with disabilities, people who participated in hostilities but have not yet received the status of a combatant, as well as those who survived captivity, can use the service.

International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)

Hanno Pevkur, Estonian Defense Minister, announced that the country will allocate EUR 3.5m to Ukraine for Starlink systems,

Lithuania will accept over 300 Ukrainian children from temporarily occupied territories for rehabilitation. Assistance will be provided to those children who have suffered physical, psychological and moral trauma.
