On 13 June, the enemy attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 113 times. It is most active towards Lyman, Pokrovsk, Novopavlivka and Kursk.
The border areas were affected by Russian artillery shelling, in particular the settlements of Studenok, Bila Bereza, Turyia, Oleksandrivka in Sumy oblast; Kliusy and Yasna Poliana in Chernihiv oblast.
Towards Kharkiv, the enemy is trying to advance to the positions of our defenders in the vicinity of Vovchansk and Kamianka. One attack was repelled, two clashes are ongoing. Enemy aviation struck the settlement of Skoryky with GABs.
Towards Kupiansk, the enemy has attacked five times near Stepova Novoselivka, Nova Kruhliakivka and towards Novoplatonivka. The battle is currently underway.
Towards Lyman, Ukrainian units repelled nine attacks in the areas of the settlements of Novyi Mir, Serhiivka, Lypove, Zelena Dolyna, Torske and Hryhorivka. Four more attacks are still ongoing. The settlement of Horokhovatka was hit by an airstrike.
Towards Siversk, Ukrainian soldiers repelled two enemy attacks. Units of the occupiers tried to advance towards Serebrianka.
Towards Kramatorsk, there were five enemy assaults. The enemy attacked near Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Markove, Kurdiumivka and towards Bila Hora. The fighting is still ongoing.
Towards Toretsk, russian occupiers conducted 11 assaults on the positions of Ukrainian defenders in the vicinity of Toretsk, Oleksandro-Kalynove, Yablunivka and Rusyn Yar. Ukrainian units repelled nine attacks, two clashes are ongoing.
Towards Pokrovsk, the invaders launched 35 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian defenders in the vicinity of the settlements of Popiv Yar, Myroliubivka, Promyn, Lysivka, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Novoserhiivka, Udachne, Horikhove and Oleksiivka. Holding back the enemy onslaught, the Ukrainian defenders repelled 33 attacks.
Towards Novopavlivka, the invaders launched 16 attacks on the positions of the Ukrainian troops near the settlements of Odradne, Skudne, Vesele, Burlatske, Novosilka and Zelene Pole. Ukrainian soldiers repelled ten attacks. The fighting does not cease.
Towards Huliaipole, Ukrainian defenders repelled an attack in the vicinity of Malynivka. The enemy has launched air strikes in the vicinity of the settlements of Olhivske, Zaliznychne, Bilohiria, and Poltavka.
Towards Orikhiv, a battle is underway in the vicinity of Nesterianka. Airstrikes were carried out in Novoandriivka, Prymorske, Stepnohirsk and Plavni.
Towards Kherson, Ukrainian defenders are currently engaged in battle with the enemy, who is trying to advance.
Towards Kursk, Ukrainian defenders repelled 17 attacks by the invaders, three clashes are ongoing. In addition, the enemy carried out six air strikes, dropping eight guided bombs, and carried out 133 artillery attacks, including two from multiple launch rocket systems.

Recent war events in the east of Ukraine
Kharkiv oblast
The enemy has increased the number of attacks on our military positions in the Kharkiv region. The situation towards Kupiansk remains the most difficult. Shelling also continues towards Izyum .
Over the past day, there were 209 combat clashes.
Towards Kharkiv, our troops repelled two enemy attacks near Vovchansk.
Towards Kupiansk, 9 attacks by the invaders took place in the past day. The defense forces repelled enemy assault actions in the directions of Pishchane and Novoplatonivka.
Shelling
▫️At night, the enemy Shahed UAV destroys civilian enterprises – businesses that still operate in Kharkiv.
Strikes on transport depots, trying to destroy the logistics infrastructure used by the civilian population. This is a blatant terror tactic. Obviously, the enemy cannot accept the fact that Kharkiv continues to live and work even in such difficult conditions.
Over the past day, 7 settlements in Kharkiv oblast have been hit by enemy attacks. 7 people, including one child, were injured as a result of the shelling.
In the village of Zolochiv, a 52-year-old man, women aged 41, 66 and 70, as well as an 11-year-old boy were injured; in the village of Tymofiivka, Zolochiv community, a 59-year-old man was injured; in the village of Horokhovatka, Borova community, an 82-year-old woman was injured.
The enemy actively used various types of weapons in the Kharkiv region:

Other
Evacuation measures are ongoing in the oblast. 350 settlements have evacuation status.
About 1,600 people are still in Kupiansk, 96 on the left bank. People are reluctant to agree to evacuate, however, 10–20 families are being evacuated every day. The evacuation zone from Kupiansk direction has been expanded — 181 children will be evacuated from 7 more settlements of Shevchenkove community.
There are about 10,000 people in temporary accommodation in Kharkiv. Some of them have been living there for three years. All the necessary conditions for accommodation have been created – these are dormitories of higher education institutions. We also have reserve places, so we can accept everyone who needs it.
Donetsk oblast
The New York Times reported that russian troops had crossed the administrative border between Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts. The American publication cited data from Ukrainian military personnel fighting in the area. Viktor Trehubov, Spokesman for the Khortytsia military unit, noted that the situation is currently unchanged and there is no evidence that the russian army has crossed the administrative border of Dnipropetrovsk oblast. He added that new information based on intelligence may appear on the evening of June 13.
The other day, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled a massive mechanized assault by the russian army towards Seversk. The invaders used more than 30 pieces of equipment, including tanks, armored personnel carriers, buggies and motorcycles, said Dmytro Zaporozhets, Spokesman for Luhansk Defense Directorate. The Ukrainian military neutralized almost 80 russian soldiers on the approaches to the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine; the infantry of the Defense Forces did not enter the battle.
Shelling
Around 4 am, russia struck the industrial zone of Druzhkivka and Svyatohirivka of the Dobropilia community, where an educational institution and private homes were damaged.
russian troops killed two residents of the oblast, and 5 more were injured. Over the past day, the police recorded 2,561 enemy shelling along the front line and residential sector. The injured were rescued by police paramedics.
The enemy focused fire on 10 settlements: the cities of Druzhkivka, Kostiantynivka, Kramatorsk, Lyman, the villages of Zolotiy Kolodiaz, Illinivka, Krasny Lyman, Mykolaipillia, Nelipivka, and Novyi Donbas.
29 civilian objects were damaged, including 7 residential buildings.

In Mykolaipilla, Druzhkivka community, an enemy drone hit a civilian car – one person was killed and two were injured.
The occupiers sent 5 drones to Kostiantynivka – one person was injured, an apartment building and a private house, a pharmacy, and a civilian car were damaged.

Pokrovsk Vicariate reported that russian troops damaged the church of the Holy Great Martyr Panteleimon in Myrnohrad by shelling. The occupiers hit the church with two mines, the building burned down, the .
Law enforcement officers have identified two russian servicemen who were kidnapped and held in the basement of local farmers near Bakhmut for several days in July 2022. Suspicions of war crimes were announced in absentia to the militants with the call signs “Boomer” and “Sklo,” the Donetsk regional prosecutor’s office said.
According to the investigation, the occupiers detained a 57-year-old man and his 35-year-old niece at the entrance to the village of Stryapivka when they tried to take pets and the remains of their belongings from their own house. They were held in a basement at one of the command posts of the russian army on suspicion of allegedly spying for the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
After several days of interrogation and detention in a basement, two farmers had their car and household appliances taken away, taken out into a field with sacks on their heads, and let go on foot towards territory controlled by the Ukrainian authorities.

Luhansk oblast

At coal mining enterprises of the occupied Luhansk oblast, such as the mines near Lutuhyn and Sorokyn, miners receive from 20 to 30% of the promised salary. In the event of quitting, there is only one way out – the military registration and enlistment office.
For three years, the invaders have not regulated traffic. The traffic lights in the city still do not work. A year ago, they even brought in specialists from Perm, who ordered design and estimate documentation for the installation of one traffic light. It should be operational in 2026.
What is happening now in the north of Ukraine
Kyiv oblast
In Fasyvotska, Kyiv region, soldier Ihor Honcharov will be laid to rest, according to Makariv head Vadym Tokar. In 2023, he joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), completed training in August 2023, and from October 2023 to January 2024 took part in defensive battles near the Avdiivka Coke Plant. The soldier’s heart stopped on June 10.
The public organization “Heart of Azovstal,” together with the family ranch “Idylia,” launched a project for released POW defenders — rehabilitation through hippotherapy, therapeutic horseback riding, and communication with horses, the “Veteran” project reported.
Kyiv resident Yulia “Taira” Paievska presented her first poetry collection Live at the “Khartiya” hub in Kyiv, reports Vechirniy Kyiv. The book by the paramedic and current servicewoman of the 13th Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine “Khartiya” includes 50 poems from different periods of her life.
On June 11, the central warehouse of the “Luxoptika” company was damaged by a Russian missile strike on Kyiv, reported company director Violetta Tytarenko. Despite significant destruction, the aftermath of the attack was quickly contained. The company continues operating as usual.
On June 15, Kyiv Military Hub and DREAM shopping mall organized ice skating and a pizza-making workshop for the children of combatants, according to Vechirniy Kyiv.
In Borodianka, Kyiv region, a new 9-story residential building will be constructed at 359 Tsentralna Street, the site of a previously destroyed apartment block, reports the Borodianka town council. The remains of the old building have been dismantled, and the site is ready for construction. In March 2022, Russian aircraft bombed this location, and enemy vehicles shelled residential neighborhoods with tanks and armored vehicles.
On the night of June 10, a downed Russian military drone crashed onto the territory of the “New Life” Protestant church in Kyiv. A fire broke out due to the crash, causing minor structural damage. The drone burned, but its explosive payload did not detonate, according to Bishop Anatolii Kalyuzhnyi, citing emergency services.

Zhytomyr oblast
In the Berdychiv district, 29-year-old Yaroslav Bromirskyi was laid to rest. He was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine in January 2023 and was killed on June 4, 2025.
Leonid Mykolayovych Komarenko, a resident of Cherniakhiv and a sergeant in the AFU, born in 1977, was killed by Russian forces on June 7, 2025, near the settlement of Andriivka, Sumy district, Sumy region. He was conscripted a year ago and served in military unit A0243, where he held the rank of squad commander of a BTS-4 unit. He served in the Kursk and Sumy directions.
In the Berdychiv district, 27-year-old Hero Vitalii Kovalchuk was laid to rest. He served in the ranks of the Kharkiv Territorial Defense and defended the northeastern borders of Ukraine. He was killed by Russian forces on June 9.
On June 10, 2025, while carrying out a combat mission near the village of Odradne in Donetsk region, 28-year-old defender Roman Matkarymov from Zhytomyr region was killed by Russian forces.
On June 10 in Ovruch, memorial plaques were unveiled on the facade of Lyceum No. 3 and at the stand near the Ovruch Vocational Lyceum in honor of the graduates of these institutions who gave their lives for Ukraine, the Ovruch City Council reported on June 12. The memorial honors: Vladyslav Volodymyrovych Fedorenko, Serhii Oleksiiovych Klymenko, Vitalii Volodymyrovych Shvab, Dmytro Mykolaiovych Tiahura, Oleh Ivanovych Kyrdan, and Andrii Volodymyrovych Lenko.
In 2025, 6.5 million UAH was allocated from the Zhytomyr regional budget to compensate utility costs for families of fallen defenders. An additional 8.5 million UAH was allocated for one-time financial assistance upon the death of a Hero, and 1.6 million UAH for medical treatment of the wounded, according to the regional Department for Veterans Affairs. Last year, 108 families of defenders received compensation for housing from the state budget. This year, 125 million UAH is allocated for that purpose.
Explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) specialists, as part of a combined task force, continue demining operations in the de-occupied territories of Kherson region, local police reported. Recently, on one of the agricultural fields, EOD teams discovered an enemy minefield consisting of various anti-personnel mines, including PMN-2 blast mines and OZM-72 fragmentation bounding mines.
Families of fallen Heroes visited wounded soldiers in the Berdychiv military hospital, according to the Zhytomyr Online website. Visitors brought care packages, treats, and shared warmth and support.
Sumy oblast
Oleh Hryhorov, Head of Regional Military Administration, the enemy attacked Bilopillia community. As a result of the shelling, the city was left without electricity, reported.
Popivska village council reported that on 13 June, a bridge over Seim River in Ozarichi, Popivka community, was destroyed. Traffic has been redirected via Baturyn. There are no casualties or injuries.
A russian drone struck civilian infrastructure in Mykolaiv community on 12 June, injuring two women — aged 88 and 57 — who suffered shrapnel wounds.
According to the Regional Military Administration, from the morning of 12 June to the morning of 13 June 2025, russian forces carried out over 50 shellings across 25 settlements in 11 territorial communities of the oblast. The most intense attacks were recorded in Sumy and Shostka regions. Chernihiv oblast
On the evening of 12 June, russian forces attacked a border village in Novhorod-Siverskyi by an FPV-drone, resulting in the death of a 46-year-old local resident
Chernihiv Border Detachment reported that throughout 12 June, russian forces attacked three border communities in Chernihiv oblast: Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka, and Snovsk. The enemy carried out mortar shelling (11 explosions) and MLRS strikes (3 explosions), launched FPV-drone attacks (8 explosions), and dropped explosive devices from UAVs (15 explosions).
‘North’ Operational Command informed that on 12 June, russian shelling damaged a critical infrastructure facility in Hirsk.
Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine
Dnipropetrovsk oblast
There was loud shelling in the Pavlohrad district, reported Mykola Lukashuk, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council. The enemy launched a missile strike on the Mezhyrich community, damaging four apartment buildings and six cars. Another missile strike hit the Petropavlivka community in the Synelnykove district, where 14 private houses and several vehicles were damaged.
The enemy also used drones to strike the Mezhova and Slovianska communities in the Synelnykove district, causing damage to agricultural enterprises. Attacks on the Nikopol area continued as well. The occupiers targeted the district center and the Marhanets community, damaging a private house and two outbuildings.
Over the course of the day, the occupiers attacked the Nikopol region nearly twenty times using drones and artillery. In the Pokrovska community, a 72-year-old man was killed in an enemy artillery strike. Overall, the Russian army targeted the district center, as well as the Chervonohryhorivka, Pokrovska, and Marhanets communities.
A fire broke out, burning dry grass. An apartment building, a private house, administrative buildings, and infrastructure were also damaged.
Kirovohrad oblast
A peaceful rally was held in the city of Novoukrainka, Kirovohrad region, in support of missing and captured defenders. Nearly a hundred people took part in the event, including relatives of the soldiers, local officials, and concerned residents.
Poltava oblast
Over 550 female service members in Poltava underwent medical examinations in a mobile clinic. The project was organized by the “Kvitna” Charitable Foundation in cooperation with the VETERANKA movement and the city authorities as part of the “Mobile Check-Up for Women Defenders” initiative, aimed at supporting women’s health during wartime.

On 13 June, the occupiers carried out 496 attacks on 14 settlements in Zaporizhzhia oblast. The enemy launched 10 airstrikes on Prymorske, Kamianske, Huliaipole, Novohryhorivka, Poltavka, Olhivske, and Bilohiria. 283 UAVs of various types (mainly FPV) targeted Malokaterynivka, Kamianske, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, and Novodarivka. 10 MLRS strikes hit Yurivka, Kamianske, Prymorske, Huliaipole, Novodanylivka, and Mala Tokmachka. 193 artillery strikes hit Kamianske, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, and Novodarivka. There were 31 reports of damage to private houses, apartments, an infrastructure facility, and a store. One person was killed and three more injured due to russian attack on Polohy region.
On 12 June, the enemy conducted an offensive action near the village of Malynivka towards Hulyaipole. The enemy launched four attacks near Novoandriivka and Pavlivka towards Orikhiv.
Zaporizhzhia oblast received equipment from Chinese partners to support the energy resilience of social infrastructure. The partners delivered 100 hybrid inverters with a capacity of 5 kW and 100 low-voltage lithium batteries with a capacity of 5 kWh, worth nearly 140 thousand dollars. The equipment will provide backup power for critical social facilities, including shelters in schools, medical, and social institutions.
Mykolaiv oblast
On the night of 13 June, air defense forces destroyed eight Shahed 131/136 UAVs in Mykolaiv Oblast. As a result of combat operations and falling debris, dry grass caught fire in an open area in Bashtanka region.
On 12 June, at 7:35 pm, the enemy attacked the waters near the city of Ochakiv with an FPV drone. There were no casualties.
Odesa oblast
On 11 June, 3 enemy ships were stationed in the Mediterranean Sea, including 1 carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles, with a total salvo capacity of up to 8 missiles.
Over the past day, 5 vessels passed through the Kerch Strait into the Black Sea in russia’s interests, while 1 more ship entered the Sea of Azov.
Kherson oblast
On 12 June, the enemy attacked Antonivka, Dudchany, Bilozerka, Beryslav, Novooleksandrivka, Shyroka Balka, Stanislav, Oleksandrivka, Inzhenerne, Novovorontsovka, Osokorivka, Sofiivka, Odradokamianka, Tiahynka, Lvivske, Mykolaivka, Burhunka, Vysoke, Prydniprovske, Naddniprianske, Sadove, Shevchenkivka, Veletenske, Vesele, Dniprovske, Zmiivka, Zolota Balka, Kizomys, Kozatske, Komyshany, Mykilske, Romashkove, Sablukivka, Tokarivka, Tomaryne, and the city of Kherson. As a result, four apartment buildings, 13 private homes, a gas station, a utility building, and private cars were damaged. One person was killed and seven others were injured due to russian aggression.
During a nighttime drone attack, air defense forces destroyed two Shahed-131/136 drones over the region.

Kherson Regional Military Administration reported two more people injured in enemy shelling. In Bilozirka, a 49-year-old man was injured at home, suffering an explosive injury, concussion, and brain trauma. On 2 June, a 56-year-old resident of Veletenske suffered an explosive injury and torso burns from a russian UAV attack.
A resident of Dudchany sought medical help after being wounded in russian shelling on the evening of 12 June. The 70-year-old man suffered a concussion, shrapnel wounds to his arms, an explosive injury, and a closed head trauma.
A man injured on 7 June in Sadove by a russian UAV attack was hospitalized. Preliminary reports indicate the 66-year-old resident suffered an explosive injury.
It is reported that the aggressor made one unsuccessful attempt to advance toward Ukrainian positions towards Kherson. The enemy also carried out an airstrike on Lvivske. Over the past day, russian losses amounted to 123 troops, 6 artillery systems, 1 radar station, 19 vehicles and armored vehicles, 5 reconnaissance UAVs (“Supercam” and “Zala”), 3 motorcycles, 8 communication antennas, 1 electronic warfare system, 1 Starlink antenna, and 8 UAV control antennas. Additionally, 31 shelters and dugouts, 1 observation post, and 2 field weapon storage buildups were destroyed.
Another 11 children were successfully returned from the temporarily occupied left bank of Kherson oblast. This was made possible by volunteers from the charity Save Ukraine and the Bring Kids Back UA initiative by Volodymyr Zelensky. According to Oleksandr Prokudin, the regional military administration head, eight girls and three boys from nine families were brought back. The youngest is four years old, and the oldest is seventeen.
Representatives of Global Empowerment Mission and the Howard G. Buffett Foundation delivered family food packages and drinking water to residents of Kherson oblasr. They also gave 35 travel suitcases to orphans and children deprived of parental care. Another batch of bottled water was delivered to residents of Zymivnyk, and over 1,400 food kits were sent to residents of Zelenivka. Aid was also provided in Bilozerka, Tiahynka, and Dariivka communities.
Borozenske community received a shipment of medical supplies from partners, including oxygen concentrators, surgical kits, wheelchairs, walkers, furniture, and other items. The shipment was made possible through cooperation between Chaplynka, Khrestivka, and Verkhniy Rohachyk communities, charitable organizations, and partners.

This week, the Owl’s Nest Humanitarian Aid Center provided IDPs registered in Uzhgorod with 50 bags with grocery sets and 100 loaves of bread. During the week, volunteers gave out clothes, shoes, bed linen and dishes (1,018 items) from the PDUM Partnerschaft Deutschland-Ukraine/Moldova e. V., Luftfahrt ohne Grenzen / Wings of Help e.V., Spletinnia Kosice, Valentyn Stefano and other benefactors.
Ivano-Frankivsk oblast
Ivano-Frankivsk community sent 210 FPV drones to the military thanks to 7 projects that applied for the program.
Lviv oblast
UAH 27.6m was raised in Lviv oblast during a charity auction. This is a new record for the Birds of Victory charity project. The funds will be used to purchase combat drones and prosthetics for defense personnel.
Ruslan Mamedov, defender of the 3rd Assault Brigade from Sambir, returns home from captivity. The fighter was mobilized in 2023. He was captured in October 2023 while performing a combat mission near Chasiv Yar, Donetsk oblast.
Memorial plaques to soldiers Roman Dyuza and Taras Pryymak were consecrated on the facade of Strii Gymnasium named after Stasiuk. Earlier, memorial signs to Ihor Snihur, Roman Kuranosov, Yurii Kostiv and Marian Volkov were unveiled on the facade of this educational institution.
Rivne oblast
Representatives of the UN World Food Program (WFP) – Ellen Kramer, Head of the Lviv Office, and Ruslan Vogel, Head of Logistics, visited Rivne oblast. The purpose of the visit was to summarize results of several years of support for residents of the oblast affected by the war.
Ternopil oblast
Oksana Zholnovych, Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine, was on a working visit to Ternopil oblast. During the meeting and conference at the RMA, they discussed topical issues regarding the implementation of social policy in the oblast.
The 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade Kholodny Yar received 64 FPV drones from Ternopil community.
Khmelnytskyi oblast
Oksana Zholnovych, Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine, paid a working visit to Khmelnytskyi oblast. Together with the leadership of the social direction of the RMA, a working meeting was held, during which they discussed current issues of social policy in the oblast.
Chernivtsi oblast
By decree of the President of Ukraine, Petro Tataryn was awarded with the III degree Order of Courage (posthumously). Petro Tataryn was killed on 23 February, 2024. While on a combat mission, the soldier came under attack from an enemy drone: the occupiers dropped an unknown chemical substance, and Petro suffered burns incompatible with life.

Magnus Brunner, European Commissioner for Home Affairs and Migration, announced that the European Union extends the temporary protection mechanism for Ukrainians until March 2027.
Boris Pistorius, German Defense Minister, announced that the country intends to allocate another EUR 1.9bn to Ukraine soon, in addition to EUR 7bn allocated in previous months.
