It has been the 932nd day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression. 

 

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 6 pm:   

On 12 September, russian invaders continued to storm the positions of Ukrainian defenders. The heaviest fighting occurs in the vicinity of Kurakhove and Pokrovsk.

There were 79 engagements on the front line.

Today, russian artillery and mortars hit communities in Kharkiv, Chernihiv, and Sumy oblasts, particularly in Tymofiivka, Ivano-Shyichyne, Hremyach, Sukhodil, and Porozok. russians also carried out airstrikes using guided bombs towards Pavlivka, Maryinka, Bilopillia, Obody, and Richky.

Towards Kharkiv, the enemy twice stormed Ukrainian positions near Vovchansk.

Towards Kupiansk, launched offensive actions near Synkivka and Kolisnykivka. One battle is still ongoing.

Towards Lyman, russians attacked three times in the vicinity of Druzhlyubivka and Nevske. The situation remains under control.

Towards Siversk, the Defense Forces repelled attempts by the aggressor to advance near Verkhniokamyanske. One battle in this vicinity is still ongoing.

Towards Kramatorsk, four clashes occurred near Zaliznianske and Stupochky. Enemy aviation also struck Pavlivske and Novopokrovka.

Towards Toretsk, the occupiers, with support from bombers, attempted four times to displace Ukrainian units near Niu-York and Nelipivka, but were met with fierce resistance. Additionally, russian forces struck Toretsk and Ivanopillia using rockets and guided bombs.

Towards Pokrovsk, russians conducted 20 assaults near Vozdvyzhenka, Novooleksandrivka, Zelenyi Hai, Novotroitske, Novohrodivka, Hrodivka, Selydove, and Mykhailivka. Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 14 of these attacks, and six battles are still ongoing.

Towards Kurakhove, the invaders attacked 33 times towards Zhelanne Pershe, Ukrainsk, Oleksandropil, Heorhiivka, and Kostiantynivka. Ukrainian forces repelled 27 of russians’ attempts to advance. The fiercest fighting is currently near Heorhiivka.

Towards Vremivka, russians unsuccessfully attempted to storm Ukrainian positions twice near Zolota Nyva and Katerynivka.

Towards Kherson, two enemy attacks were also repelled.

In other directions, the operational situation remains largely unchanged.

Svitlana Hrynchuk, Ukraine’s Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources, reported that pollution of the Saim and Desna rivers in Chernihiv and Sumy oblasts caused damages of UAH 405 m. Contaminated water from a russian sugar plant has severely impacted the Saim River, and Ukraine has been addressing the environmental damage for several weeks.

Mykhailo Fedorov, Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation, reported that over three days, users of the Diia platform made 416,133 proposals. He also mentioned that 1,247 couples applied for marriage online, and 197 couples have already married since the beta launch.

Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

Kharkiv oblast

The occupiers attacked Derhachi in Kharkiv region. According to the RMA, at around 5pm, private houses were damaged as a result of enemy shelling with a KAB. Two women suffered an acute stress reaction

At 4:50pm, the enemy attacked Mala Danylivka community in Kharkiv region with an MRLs. Trees and a fence in the Ecopark were damaged, but no one was injured.

At about 4:45pm, the occupiers hit Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv with an aerial attack, damaging a private house, a fence, and the windows of other houses. Rescuers rescued two women and a child.

Oleksandr Tertyshnyi, Head of Borova military administration, reported that russians struck Borova twice with cluster munitions. Two people were killed and seven wounded. Among the wounded are three rescuers. After the first strike, emergency services arrived at the scene of the shelling, and then the Russians struck the village again.

The fire in Studenok village, Izium region, has been completely extinguished. The fire destroyed and damaged more than 350 houses and other buildings, 121 of which were residential. 1,620 hectares of forest were destroyed. Seven people were injured. 170 people were accommodated in the surviving houses in the village. Volunteers provided emergency construction kits. 24 people left for other settlements. The victims are already receiving financial assistance from UNHCR in the amount of UAH 10,800 per person. The Humanitarian Centre in the village continues its work, providing food packages, hygiene products, construction materials and seasonal clothing.

Oleh Syniehubov, Head of the Regional Military Administration, said that at 12:40pm, the occupiers attacked Borova village in Izium region. A 64-year-old woman was injured and hospitalised. A civilian man was killed, and the woman’s body was removed from the rubble. Preliminary, the enemy used cluster munitions on a residential area, at least five houses were on fire.

The State Emergency Service reported that at 4:47am, Borova village of Izium region was hit. As a result of the shelling, the structural elements of the destroyed 2-storey residential building were burning. Rescuers rescued an 86-year-old woman from the rubble of the house in Borova, and the wounded woman was hospitalised. 

According to preliminary data from the regional prosecutor’s office, the russians hit the two-storey apartment building with Tornado-S MRLs.

At 4:20am, russian troops launched a UAV strike on the Zolochiv village. As a result, a private house, outbuildings and gas networks were damaged.

Yesterday at 11:15pm, there were attacks outside the villages of Berezivka and Kalynove of Zolochiv community, Bohodukhiv region. There were no destructions and no casualties.

At 4pm,Kupiansk was shelled. A shop was completely destroyed as a result of enemy shelling.

Towards Kharkiv, the occupiers launched three attacks near Hatyshche, Lyptsi and Tykhe. The Defence Forces units successfully repelled the enemy’s offensive twice, and another firefight is ongoing.

Towards Kupiansk, the Armed Forces repelled 16 enemy attacks near Lozova, Synkivka, Hlushkivka, Stelmakhivka and Andriivka, three firefights are still ongoing, and the situation is under control.

Vitalii Sarantsev, Spokesman of the Kharkiv operational-tactical group, informed that towards Kharkiv, the most intense fighting continues in Vovchansk. For several weeks in a row, there have been constant positional clashes in the city near a nine-storey building. The russians are using the tactic of single infiltration and they are trying to bring personnel to the facilities, to enter a location. Then they launch an assault while waiting for reinforcements. This happens every day.

The Regional Defence Council decided to forcibly evacuate 269 children from 29 settlements of Kupiansk region.

  • Kupiansk community – 10 settlements, 158 children.
  • Kurylivka community – 6 settlements, 41 children.
  • Kindrashivka community – 13 settlements, 70 children. 

As of today, 10 families have been evacuated. The work is ongoing. All evacuees will receive material assistance from international partners, including the UN, as well as humanitarian, psychological and legal support. Those who need it will be provided with temporary accommodation or, with the support of Ukrzaliznytsia, assistance in evacuating to other regions of Ukraine. Since 10 May, following the enemy’s intensification of hostilities in the north of the region, 15,031 people, including 1,282 children, have been evacuated from Vovchansk and Lyptsi directions.

As a result of the aggression of the russian occupiers, 307 general secondary education institutions, 262 kindergartens, 20 vocational education institutions, 32 higher education institutions and 22 higher education institutions have been affected. To date, 6 successful restoration projects have been implemented at 34 sites. In particular, the UNITED24 project plans to finance a shelter in one of Lozova’s lyceums, and the Howard Buffett Foundation will finance the construction of 5 protective structures for schools and kindergartens.  UNICEF is overhauling shelters in 3 pre-schools and resuming the educational process in a metro school, providing access to offline education for 800 children.

Andrii Kanashevych, Head of Kupiansk RMA, ewported that up to 5,500 people are now remaining on the left bank of the Oskil River. Due to the intensified shelling, the number of people willing to evacuate is growing.

Donetsk oblast

The russian occupiers targeted a humanitarian mission of the Ukrainian Red Cross, which was distributing fuel briquettes to the local population in Viroliubivka village. An investigative team, explosives experts and police paramedics were working at the site of the attack.  The shelling was at around 9:10am. The shells hit one of the trucks with fuel briquettes, causing the vehicle to catch fire. Three men, aged 40, 41 and 48, were killed in the attack. Two other employees of the organisation, aged 35 and 41, sustained shrapnel wounds and mine-blast injuries. The victims were taken to hospital, where they are receiving the necessary treatment.

An 81-year-old woman was killed and four members of her family were injured in Krasnoiarske of Dobropillia community when one of the shells hit a private house. According to the CMA, six houses and the power grid were damaged in the village.

Two people were also injured in Kostiantynivka, where seven houses, a power line, a gas pipeline and a car were damaged.

Mykhailo Volynets, Chairman of the Ukrainian Miners’ Trade Union, reported that 151 miners from Dobropillia mine, which was cut off from power as a result of the russian attack, have been brought to the surface. The town of Dobropillia and nearby settlements are without electricity due to the attack by russian troops.

At 4:40am, russian troops attacked Pokrovsk, destroying a critical infrastructure facility. Donetsk police documented the consequences of the russian shelling. 12 settlements were under fire.

Yesterday russian troops struck 3,041 times at the frontline and residential areas. 131 civilian objects were damaged, including 48 residential buildings, administrative buildings, a hospital, a market, a café, an educational institution, a stadium, a vegetable depot, shops, a shopping pavilion, a recreation centre, garages, cars and critical infrastructure.

Kostiantynivka was shelled six times as russians dropped three FAB-250 bombs with an UMPK module on the town, and shelled the town with Smerch MRLs and artillery. Three civilians were killed and five others were injured. Two apartment buildings and 19 private houses, a critical infrastructure facility, a shop, a trade pavilion, and vehicles were damaged.

The occupiers attacked Konstiantynopil with Tornado-S MRLs, killing two civilians and wounding five others, damaging 7 private houses, an administrative building, a cafe, a shop and cars. 

A civilian was killed in Zoriane as a result of hostile shelling.

Also russia launched 8 S-300 missiles at Dobropillia, injuring a man and damaging 10 private houses, an educational institution, a stadium, an administrative building, a vegetable depot, 15 garages and cars.

One person was injured in Hirnyk and one in Yelizavetivka, and private houses were damaged.

The enemy shelled Myrnohrad with three S-300 missiles, damaging five private houses, a hospital, a shop, a market and garages.

In addition, there was information about two civilians who were killed in Hirnyk earlier, on 10 September.

Filashkin, Head of Donetsk Regional Military Administration, reported that in Kostiantynivka, the pension fund has suspended operations due to the deteriorating security situation and the evacuation of employees. Service centres continue to operate in six settlements of Donetsk oblast.

Filashkin added that 75 public wells and 250 wells near apartment buildings have been drilled in Pokrovsk community. Drinking water is also supplied to the community. At the same time, there is water supply in Rodynske.

Luhansk oblast

The enemy is continuously shelling settlements near the battle line. The fewer people there remain, the harder it is to convince them to evacuate. So, 17 people live in Nevske now, three more in Novoliubika. Those who wish to leave, provide temporary housing, solve the most urgent issues.

Yesterday, the enemy launched 106 drones on Nevske and Makiivka, struck 25 times with artillery systems. russians tried to advance near Stelmakhovka, Andriivka, Makiivka, Nevske, Hrekivka and Tverdokhlibove.

Almost 4,500 children from Luhansk oblast have recovered this summer. Health and recreation services are provided to 4,461 children. 

The coal industry in the russian-occupied territory is dying out: even in the mines that have been operating until recently, the invaders are cutting out equipment. Most of the miners are forcibly mobilised into the russian army. The occupiers do not provide water drainage in coal mines, which are flooded with groundwater. In a number of mines, russians have started cutting out power systems.

Among the russian military in the occupied territory of Luhansk oblast, the number of deserters has increased. Raids of the military police of the russian Ministry of Defense have been intensified in the cities of the so-called lpr. In particular, in Starobilsk, the police of the invaders arrange to check documents of almost every passing male.

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

Ruslan Kravchenko, Head of Kyiv Regional Military Administration, reported that at night and in the morning, russians attacked Kyiv oblast with drones once again. Air defence forces were deployed, targets destroyed, no casualties detected, no hits to residential or critical infrastructure. No information was received on damage caused by falling debris from downed enemy targets. In two districts, a fire in a field and a grass fire in an open area were extinguished.

On 12 September, President of Estonia Alar Karis arrived in Kyiv for a visit. At a meeting with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the two leaders discussed defence support, Ukraine’s reconstruction, and the country’s path to the European Union. Particular attention was paid to Ukraine’s European integration progress. Zelenskyy noted Estonia’s significant expert support for Ukraine in the negotiation process.

On 12 September, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with President of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėdas in Kyiv. The leaders discussed Ukraine’s defence. 

Latvian Prime Minister Evika Silinia arrived in Kyiv on a working visit. During their conversation, President Zelenskyy and Prime Minister Silinia focused on strengthening military-technical cooperation, implementing the bilateral security agreement, and preparing for the second Peace Summit. 

Zhytomyr oblast

Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration announced that on 11 September, a mobile mine safety class was conducted in primary school No. 11 in Zhytomyr. First-graders met with experts and learned what explosive devices are, what colour and size they are and where they can be found. At the end of the event, the children coloured themed colouring cards, shared their impressions, tried on sapper’s clothes and received gifts from UNICEF Ukraine.

Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration reported that the harvesting of early grain and leguminous crops in Zhytomyr oblast was completed. All categories of farms have threshed 100% of early grain and leguminous crops, namely: rapeseed (118 thousand tonnes), barley (133.8 thousand tonnes), wheat (557.6 thousand tonnes) and peas (9.2 thousand tonnes).

Sumy oblast

Sumy Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported that on 12 September, around 3:40pm, the russian army dropped two guided bombs on civilian infrastructure in Yampil, Shostka region. As a result of the attack, a 41-year-old woman, who was on her property, was killed.

According to Sumy Regional Military Administration, during the night of 12 September, the russian army launched a massive airstrike using Shahed drones on energy facilities and civilian infrastructure in Konotop community. More than 14 people were injured in the attack, with two people hospitalised. One of them is in intensive care, and their condition is not improving.

During night and morning, russians carried out 14 shelling attacks on border areas and settlements in Sumy oblast, resulting in 64 explosions. The attacks targeted Sumy, Richky, Krasnopillia, Bilopillia, Konotop, Znob-Novhorod, and Esman communities.

On 11 September, russians carried out 62 shelling attacks on border areas and settlements in Sumy oblast, resulting in 166 explosions. The attacks targeted Myropilia, Yunakivka, Berezivka, Lebegyn, Seredyna-Buda, Znob-Novhorodskie, and Druzhbivka communities.

Khotin community: the enemy launched an airstrike by GAB (1 explosion).

Myropilia community: russians hit by FPV-drone (1 explosion), as a result of the attack, the driver of the bread truck was injured.

Bilopillia community: the enemy carried out a mortar fire (4 explosions), artillery strike (4 explosions), attack by explosive devices dropped from UAVs (2 explosions) and an airstrike by GAB (4 explosions).

Esman community: russians launched shelling by mortar (5 explosions), airstrikes  by GAB (6 explosions) and by FPV-drones (11 explosions).

Krasnopillia community: the enemy carried out a mortar fire (19 explosions), artillery attacks (20 explosions), shelling by MLPS (12 explosions), explosive devices dropped from UAVs ( explosions). The enemy attacked by FPV-drones (6 explosions), as result of it, a civilian person was injured.

Druzhbivka community: artillery shelling (15 explosions) and attack by FPV-drone (1 explosion).

Velyka Pysarivka community: mortar fire (8 explosions), artillery shelling (6 explosions), explosive devices dropped from UAVs (2 explosions).

Berezivka community: an airstrike by GAB (1 explosion).

Znob-Novhorodske community: the russians carried out artillery strikes (18 explosions).

Seredyna-Buda community: the enemy carried out an attack by FPV-drone (3 explosions).

Yunakivka community: an airstrike by GAB (1 explosion).

Lebedyn community: the enemy launched a missile (1 explosion in the air).

Chernihiv oblast

Chernihiv Regional Police informed that on 12 September, russian forces struck residential buildings in a border village in Novhorod-Siverskyi region of Chernihiv oblast. Civilian homes were damaged in the shelling, but no casualties were reported.

Throughout the day, russian troops shelled three border communities in Chernihiv oblast, using various types of weaponry.

Novhorod-Siverskyi community:

  • 7 explosions, likely by barrel artillery on Krasnyi Khutir. As result of the shelling, farm buildings caught fire;
  • 2 explosions, likely by an UAV, near Pushkari;
  • 1 explosion, likely by an UAV, near Kremskyi Buhor village;
  • 4 explosions, likely by FPV-drone and two explosions, likely explosive devices dropped from UAVs near Hremiach.

Semenivka community:

  • 11 explosions, probably by barrel artillery and one explosion, probably by a Lancet-type attack UAV, on Semenivka. As a result of the shelling, objects of civil infrastructure caught fire;
  • 22 explosions, probably by a 120mm mortar around Tymonovychi village;
  • 6 explosions, likely by FPV-drones near Zarichchia;
  • 4 explosions, probably by a 120mm mortar, three explosions, likely by guided aerial bombs and one explosion, likely an explosive device dropped from UAVs near Mykolaivka village;
  • 1 explosion, probably by an explosive device dropped from UAVs near Leonivka village;
  • 6 explosions, probably by a 120mm mortar around Medvedivka village;
  • 1 explosion, probably by an explosive device dropped from UAVs near Halahanivka village;
  • 1 explosion, probably by an FPV-drone near Zaliznyi Mist village.

Snovsk community:

  • 5 explosions, probably by FPV-drone near Yeline village;
  • 10 explosions, likely by a 120mm mortar  on the outskirts of Hirsk village.

No casualties or injuries among the local population were reported as a result of the shelling.

Police officers from the Novhorod-Siverskyi region, with the support of local authorities, evacuated an elderly couple from a border village near russia. Chernihiv Regional Police reported that the couple’s house was located close to the border. They decided to leave due to constant russian shelling and frequent explosions from munitions dropped by russian drones. The couple was provided with transportation for their belongings, assisted in loading them, and escorted to a safe area.

According to Chernihivoblenergo, as of 12 September, 45 settlements in Chernihiv oblast were completely without electricity due to russian shelling. Four villages experienced partial outages, affecting a total of 3,086 consumers.

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

Mykola Lukashuk, Head of the Oblast Council, says that from the evening until the morning, the occupiers did not stop firing on Nikopol. They carried out about a half dozen attacks. The enemy hit with artillery, drones, fired from Grads. They targeted the regional center, Marhanets, Chernohryhorovka and Myrove communities. In the evening in Nikopol, a private house was taken over by a drone strike. Rescuers immediately arrived on the spot, but russian troops prevented the fire from extinguishing, attacking emergency responders with drones. A  fire truck was damaged, however, no casualties reported. Fires broke out in the area, damaging private houses, farm buildings and gas pipelines. According to updated information, several houses, farm buildings, gas pipelines and power lines were affected by yesterday’s attacks on Nikopol.

In the afternoon, the defenders of the sky destroyed an enemy Shahed over the area. The occupiers continue to shell Nikopol region. Artillery and kamikaze drones hit the regional center, Marhanets, Pokrovske and Krasnohorivka communities. In Nikopol, the roof of the church was damaged by shelling, the rescuers extinguished the fire. Fire and utility vehicles were damaged.

Vinnytsia oblast

Mayor of Vinnytsia Serhii Morhunov, announces that another 2,000 FPV drones for defenders were prepared by the team of the Interregional Coordinating Humanitarian Staff. An additional 14 military units will receive assistance from Vinnytsia City Council. 1,850 UAVs will be handed over to the military personnel. The equipment will strengthen the defense capability on the front line.

Kirovohrad oblast

Andrii Raikovich, Head of Kirovograd oblast, says that at night, the Air Defense Forces were on alert in Kirovograd region. 

Poltava oblast

Poltava paid tribute to the defenders who were killed in the war with the russian federation. Oleksandr Voskoboinyk and Volodymyr Mosiienko died from injuries received towards Donetsk as a result of FPV drone strikes.

Cherkasy oblast

Igor Taburets, head of Cherkasy oblast, says that at night, four enemy drones were shot down in Cherkasy oblast. In one of the cases due to falling debris, a forest floor was set on fire. 

In the Monastyry region, the community held a “live corridor” of Captain Vasilii Boichenko. He was killed as a result of the hit of a Russian FPV drone in Kharkiv oblast. The soldier is 23 years old.

​​ Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Southern Defence Forces reported that on 11 September, Ukrainian forces in the southern regions eliminated 69 occupiers and destroyed 42 units of russian weapons and military equipment.

Zaporizhzhia oblast

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on 11 September, Ukrainian Defence Forces repelled 2 russian attacks towards Orikhiv near Mala Tokmachka.

On 11 September, the russian military carried out 337 strikes on 11 towns and villages in Zaporizhzhia oblast.

Mykolaiv oblast

Vitalii Kim, Head of the RMA, reported that on 12 September, russian forces shelled Ochakiv in Mykolaiv oblast from the temporarily occupied Kinburn Spit. A 16-year-old girl was injured.

Volunteers from the charitable foundation Youth with Mission are installing modular homes in Olenivka village for families whose homes were damaged by enemy shelling.

According to Mykolaiv RMA, on 11 September, the russian military attacked Kutsurub community twice, at 4:58pm and 5:12pm, by FPV drones. There were no casualties or injuries reported.

Odesa oblast

According to the Main Intelligence Directorate, during an operation in the Black Sea, special forces of the Directorate destroyed a russian Su-30SM fighter jet by a man portable air-defence system.

As reported by the Ukrainian Navy, on 11 September, the russian military targeted a civilian vessel flying the flag of Saint Kitts and Nevis.

Kherson oblast

Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of Kherson RMA, reported that on the night of 12 September, air defence units shot down 4 russian Shahed-131/136 drones over Kherson.

According to the RMA, at around 9:40am, russian forces shelled Tomyna Balka in Kherson oblast by artillery. A 51-year-old man was injured.

The russian forces shelled Stanislav in Kherson oblast, injuring a 76-year-old woman who was hospitalised.

The russian military once again attacked Novodmytrivka by a drone. A 58-year-old woman was injured, suffering from a blast injury, concussion and shrapnel wounds to her chest and leg.

The russian forces shelled Komyshany, injuring 3 people.

An 85-year-old woman was evacuated from Novoberyslav, which is in a dangerous area. She is receiving medical assistance.

Roman Mrochko,  Head of the CMA, said that as a result of the russian shelling of Antonivka in Kherson oblast, a man and a woman were injured. They were hospitalised with blast injuries and multiple shrapnel wounds.

Latest news for today in the western regions of Ukraine

Volyn oblast

Volyn Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education received a generator from the Swedish Aid Center CF.

Zakarpattia oblast

Uzhhorod City Council reported that 10 fallen defenders were awarded the title Honorary Citizen of Uzhhorod (posthumously).

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

The oblast sent another batch of aid to Kharkiv oblast from the SWISS KRONO LLC. To eliminate rocket attacks, construction materials were handed over to restore people’s homes and social facilities. Over 1,000 OSB sheets have already been delivered to the East.

Lviv oblast

Andrii Moskalenko, 1st Deputy Mayor of Lviv, announced that in the city, the exact damage caused to the community as a result of the enemy attack on the city on 4 September is still being calculated. But we can already say in advance that we are talking about at least UAH 1bn.

As a reminder, as a result of last week’s enemy attack in Frankivskyi and Zaliznychnyi districts of Lviv. 189 houses were damaged, of them, 19 are architectural monuments, and there are also historically valuable buildings. In total, 21 buildings suffered significant destruction, 52 apartments are unfit for habitation.

Defenders of the 80th Airborne Assault Brigade will receive 24 FPV drones from Boryslav City Council thanks to charity events and an auction, which was held in Boryslav at the beginning of August. At that time, joint efforts managed to raise over UAH 372,000, which were donated to purchase drones.

Rivne oblast

The construction of a modular cottage town for wounded soldiers began on the territory of the regional hospital. The 1st of the ten planned houses has already been installed. This is a joint project of Rivne RMA, the regional council and the Nova Poshta company. Each house is designed for two people who will live there during treatment or rehabilitation in the hospital.

30 entrepreneurs from Rivne oblast and 18 of their Polish colleagues held a B2B meeting organised by RMA, the Diia.Business Center in Rivne and the Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers of Poland.

The oblast sent 5 wide-range electronic warfare systems to the 104th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade from the Blue Yellow Lithuanian Foundation.

Ternopil oblast

52 defenders from Ternopil community will receive UAH 10,000 each for equipment. This will help them buy the necessary things for the service. Since the beginning of the year, 2,796 soldiers have already received such assistance.

Ternopil community sent a Mitsubishi L200 SUV to the National Guardsmen. This car will soon be working on the front line.

Yaroslav Kostiuk, military serviceman from Pidvolochysk community received the Golden Cross medal from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The award was personally presented by Oleksandr Syrskyi in the hospital where the defender is undergoing rehabilitation after a serious injury.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

During the morning air alert the Air Defense Forces within the oblast destroyed an enemy UAV of the Shahed type. There were no injuries, deaths or destruction. A total of 11 enemy UAVs were destroyed on the territory of Khmelnytskyi oblast during the day.

During the night attack, a flight of a russian attack UAV of the Shakhed type was recorded in the immediate vicinity of Khmelnytsky nuclear plant. Later, this Shahed was shot down by the Air Defense Forces of Ukraine.

Military training took place within Khmelnytskyi urban territorial community.

Chernivtsi oblast

Chernivtsi City Council signed the Memorandum on Partnership and Cooperation with the German-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The RMA held a meeting with representatives of the Colping Matters in Ukraine NGO. During the meeting, they discussed the implementation of joint projects aimed at helping IDPs and their integration into the life of communities in the oblast.

International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)

Anthony Blinken, US Secretary of State, announced that the country allocated aid to Ukraine in the amount of over $700m. $325m will be allocated to energy support, namely, repair of capacities, provision of emergency back-up power supply and strengthening of energy infrastructure security. $290m was allocated to finance food, water, housing, health care and educational programs for the needy in Ukraine and refugees. $102m will be allocated to demining territories.

Great Britain announced a new package of financial assistance to Ukraine worth GBP 600m. Part of the funds will be directed to urgent humanitarian, energy and stabilisation needs, as well as to support reforms, recovery and reconstruction.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, met with Anthony Blinken, US Secretary of State, and David Lammy, British Foreign Minister. They discussed long-range weapons, the provision of combat brigades at the front, the general strategy of approaching a just peace, and special attention was paid to the preparation of the 2nd Peace Summit.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, met with Andrii Plenkovich, Prime Minister of Croatia. They discussed humanitarian demining, post-war reconstruction and reconstruction of energy facilities.

Andrii Yermak, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, met with Wolfgang Ischinger, President of the Council of the Munich Security Conference Foundation. They discussed cooperation with Ukrainian partners.

Ihor Zhovkva and Roman Mashovets, Deputy Heads of the Office of the President, met with Tom Goffus, NATO Deputy Secretary General for Operations. They discussed implementation of recent initiatives to create a new NATO Security Assistance and Training Mission for Ukraine and the launch of the NATO-Ukraine Joint Analysis, Training and Education Center.

In Rome, Maksym Kozytskyi, Head of Lviv RMA, met with Cardinal Matteo Zuppi – President of the Italian Episcopal Conference. They discussed assisting in the return of prisoners.
