Towards Novopavlivka, the occupiers attacked the positions of Ukrainian troops near Konstantynopol. The enemy dropped three anti-aircraft missiles on Novopillia.
Towards Orikhiv, Huliaipole and Kherson, the enemy did not carry out any active actions.
In the operational zone in Kursk oblast, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled two attacks by russian invaders, three more attacks are ongoing. The enemy carried out more than 220 shelling and carried out four air strikes.

The day before, towards Kharkiv, the enemy stormed the positions of Ukrainian troops five times in the vicinity of the settlements of Vovchansk and Starytsia.
Towards Kupiansk, there were eight enemy attacks. The defense forces repelled the enemy’s assault actions near Kucherivka, Petropavlivka, Pishchane, Zahryzove and Lozova.
Shelling
The RMA reported that at 23:35, the enemy attacked Berestyn region, Vlasivka village. As a result of the shooting down of the Geran-2 UAV, the glazing of the windows in a private residential building was damaged.
At 16:40, the enemy attacked Lozov region, Brailivka village. A UAV was detected outside the settlement.
At 12:54, the enemy attacked Berestyn region between the villages of Zemlianyki and Mazharka. UAV wreckage was detected in the field.

In Berestyn region, Vlasivka village, a 44-year-old man was injured as a result of the disassembly of an unknown explosive device.
Donetsk oblast

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the russian army has reduced the number of attacks near Velyka Novosilka towards Novopalivka (formerly Vremivka). On January 11, Ukrainian military personnel repelled five assaults on this sector of the front, the day before there were 14 attacks.
The defense forces repelled 77 assaults by the russian army towards Pokrovsk. The occupiers tried to advance, in particular, near Baranivka, Yelizavetivka, Promin, Lysivka, Zvirove, Novoandriivka, Uspenivka, Slovianka and Konstantynopolske.
The occupiers carried out more than 20 attacks towards Kramatorsk and Lyman.
Fighters of the 115th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine captured russian scouts towards Lyman. The occupiers revealed information that will help the Ukrainian military in the battles in the north of Donetsk oblast, said a brigade officer under the pseudonym “Fartovyi”.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck the command post of the 2nd Guards Combined Arms Army of the russian federation in the occupied Novohrodivka in Donetsk oblast. This operation is a continuation of a series of fire strikes on command posts of the occupation forces towards Donetsk.
In Toretsk, aerial reconnaissance of the 28th Knights of the Winter March Brigade recorded several groups of russian occupiers who were disguised in civilian clothes and were conducting reconnaissance and movement. The brigade’s website reported that the russian military violated the rules of warfare.
The National Guard of Ukraine reported that the Ukrainian military destroyed a russian D-30 cannon in Donetsk oblast. The artillery installation, with which the occupiers were hitting dugouts and equipment, was neutralized with an FPV drone.
The deputy commander of one of the battalions of the 68th Jaeger Brigade under the pseudonym “Italian” says that near Pokrovskoe, russian soldiers rarely surrender, because it is more profitable for them to be killed. They choose to die in an assault so that their families may receive payments.
More than ten dead were taken out by searchers of the “Platsdarm” detachment from different directions of the front in Donetsk oblast. Some of the remains had been lying in the forest for almost three years. Among the bodies found were russian soldiers and Ukrainian servicemen.
Shelling
Kramatorsk RMA reports that in the afternoon, russian troops struck Kramatorsk. As of 14:50, there was no information about the casualties. The consequences for the infrastructure are being established.
Serhii Horbunov, Head of the RMA, reports that at about 10 am, the russian army shelled Kostiantynivka. The occupiers hit the residential sector of the city and damaged a private house.
The occupiers have launched 3,050 strikes. According to police, the enemy shelled 9 settlements: the cities of Bilytske, Kostiantynivka, Lyman, Pokrovsk, Rodynske, Toretsk, the villages of Vyroliubivka, Hryshyne, Shchurove.
64 civilian objects were destroyed, including 44 residential buildings.
The occupiers attacked Hryshyne with a drone and Grad MLRSs – they killed a person, damaged 2 houses.
russia dropped 4 FAB-250 air bombs on Bilytske – 5 civilians were injured. As a result of the strikes, 2 houses, a service station, and cars were destroyed.
In Kostiantynivka, as a result of artillery strikes, 2 people were injured, 5 apartment buildings and 19 private houses, a car, and a power line were damaged.
Pokrovsk was attacked by russians with two FAB-250 aerial bombs and a Grad MLRS. An apartment building, two private houses, and a workshop were destroyed.
The enemy shelled Rodynske with artillery, damaging an apartment building, a car, a gas pipeline, and an infrastructure facility.
Luhansk oblast
On the eve of the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled the attacks of the invaders in the vicinity of Novoiehorivka and Makiivka, in Bilohorivka and Serebrianka Forest. According to the RMA, when striking at the positions of Ukrainian soldiers, the enemy most often uses artillery and UAVs. Thus, russians fired from artillery 11 times. 102 enemy drones tried to complete the task in this area.
Since January 9, the local road maintenance enterprise from Rubizhne has introduced official passenger transportation to Siverskodonetsk, Starobilsk and Luhansk. The occupiers claim that transport services are provided with the support of the relevant ministry of the so-called “lpr”. However, russians provided buses for the Rubizhne residents after many years of using these vehicles.
One of the high-rise buildings in Siverskodonetsk has been abandoned by the sixth construction team in the past year and a half. Its demonstration restoration has been ongoing since August 2023. During this time, several floors have already been dismantled there and the object has been left half-dismantled for the winter. They say that the contractor has once again not paid for the work. At the same time, the city’s occupation administration reported that the renovation of the high-rise building has been completed. People still live in one part of the building.

Kyiv oblast
Yesterday evening and at night, the enemy attacked Kyiv oblast using UAVs. The regional military administration reported that the alert in the region lasted for more than 8 hours. No critical or residential infrastructure was hit. There were no casualties.
In Vorzel, they plan to build a new building for a rehabilitation center on the basis of Kyiv Regional Center for Mental Health. Taiwan will provide financing for the project, allocating 560 thousand dollars. The agreement was signed by the mayor of Bucha Anatoly Fedoruk and the ambassador of the Taipei mission in Poland Jeff Liu.
Kyiv City Military Administration reported that in four districts of the capital, the progress of construction and repair work in shelters was checked. In Holosiivskyi district, construction of an anti-radiation shelter is underway on the territory of gymnasium No. 236, which will be able to accommodate up to 1,000 people. Large-scale work is underway at the Lyceum No. 142 in Solomianskyi district. In Shevchenkivskyi district, a shelter for residents of a building at 30 Zahorivska Street was repaired. In Obolonskyi district, the status of work on arranging shelters in two kindergartens was checked.
Wounded National Guard and police fighters visited the exhibition “War: A Reverse Perspective” in Kyiv for the purpose of rehabilitation. The project represents the history of World War II and the Russian-Ukrainian War through painting, graphics, sculpture, photography and installation. It brings together the works of 41 artists from all over Ukraine and 39 artists whose works are stored in the fund collection of the National Museum of the History of Ukraine in World War II.
Zhytomyr oblast
Air Defense Forces were on alert in Zhytomyr oblast at night. Drones were shot down. The air alert lasted from 22:00 on January 11 to 02:06 on January 12. At 22:15, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that UAVs were moving in the northern part of the oblast in a westerly direction.
During the six months of operation of the free 24-hour service Veteran Telephone Line in Zhytomyr community, 1,012 calls were received, the city council reported. The veteran telephone line operates around the clock, without days off and breaks on holidays. Specialists accept requests from subscribers, register them, process them and provide the necessary information and advisory assistance.
An important infrastructure project has been implemented in Cherniakhiv community – the construction of a modern block-modular boiler house, which has become a solution to a long-standing problem with energy efficiency. This initiative is designed not only to ensure stable heat supply, but also to significantly reduce the community’s heating costs.
Sumy oblast
The Regional Military Administration informed that on 12 January, air defense units in Sumy Oblast shot down six enemy Shahed drones. Since the beginning of 2025, Sumy’s air defense forces have destroyed a total of 95 russian drones.
The RMA reported that during night and morning, russians carried out 5 shelling attacks on border areas and settlements in Sumy oblast, resulting in 31 explosions. The enemy shelled the territory of Velyka Pysarivka community using artillery, with 12 explosions recorded, and also carried out an FPV-drone strike (1 explosion). Esman community was targeted with mortar fire, resulting in 18 explosions.
On 11 January, russians carried out 29 shelling attacks on border areas and settlements in Sumy oblast, resulting in 57 explosions, including VOG drops from UAVs, mortar and artillery shelling, FPV-drone attacks, and tank fire. The communities under enemy fire were Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Esman, and Shalyhyne.
Junior Sergeant Ruslan, a native of Konotop region and a serviceman of the 225th Separate Assault Battalion, has been awarded the Order of Courage, III degree. He received the honor for successfully completing a combat mission in russia’s Kursk oblast. During the Kursk operation, Ruslan carried out a critical mission by delivering soldiers to their positions under intense mortar fire. His actions enabled the troops to timely secure strategic positions and provide fire support to neighboring units.
In Sumy Oblast, the second underground school has been constructed, this time in Shostka region. According to Sumy Oblast Military Administration Head Volodymyr Artiukh, the facility was built under a co-financing arrangement with funds from the regional and state budgets. He noted that similar schools are being built in nearly all regional centers of the oblast.
Chernihiv oblast
According to the North Operational Command, on 11 January, russian forces launched a missile strike on Strilnyky village in Bakhmach community of Nizhyn region. No information about casualties or destruction has been reported.
On 11 January, the russian army attacked three border communities in Chernihiv oblast. The State Administration of Ukraine informed that in total, 67 explosions were recorded.
Novhorod-Siverskyi community: four artillery hits on Dibrova village.
Semenivka community: 7 hits by explosive devices dropped from a UAV, a hit by an FPV-drone, 10 hits by artillery, 6 mortar hits, 55 hits from an automatic easel grenade launcher. Under enemy fire are the villages of Yanzhulivka, Tymonovychi, Yeline, Bleshnia, Hremiachka, and Semenivka city.
Horodnia community: 1 artillery hit on Hasychivka village.
On 11 January, the public organization Eco Misto in collaboration with Chernihiv Polytechnic organized a cycling workshop at Peremoha center. They repaired children’s bicycles to give them to kids affected by hostilities in Bobrovytsia neighborhood. Over the past two years, volunteers have repaired and delivered more than 750 bicycles to de-occupied and war-affected communities impacted by russian aggression. The organization receives bicycles as charitable donations from various cities, countries, and organizations.
Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine
Dnipropetrovsk oblast
Mykola Lukashuk, Head of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Council, said that late in the evening and at night, the enemy shelled Nikopol with artillery, and launched a kamikaze drone at the city. The enterprise was damaged. The occupiers also attacked the Zelenodolsk community of Kryvyi Rih region with a kamikaze drone. It damaged the infrastructure.
The enemy attacked Nikopol region about two dozen times. They used artillery, kamikaze drones, and dropped ammunition from drones. The occupiers targeted the region centre, Myrove, Marhanets and Pokrovske communities. Four private houses, two outbuildings, industrial and utility companies, infrastructure, a gas pipeline and a power line were damaged.
Vinnytsia oblast
In Vinnytsia, the funeral of soldier Volodymyr Vlasenko, who was killed in the Pokrovsk sector, was held. The defender was 42 years old. He was buried next to his wife at the Sabarivske cemetery.
In the week from 6 to 12 January, 19 defenders from Vinnytsia oblast were killed. We bow our heads to their bravery.
Kirovohrad oblast
The weekly action in support of prisoners of war “Don’t be silent! Captivity kills”. People came with portraits of missing and captured soldiers and brigade numbers.

Cherkasy oblast

Zaporizhzhia oblast
Yesterday, the occupiers launched 334 attacks on 11 settlements in Zaporizhzhia oblast. As a result of these enemy attacks, one person was killed, and four others were injured. 189 UAVs of various modifications targeted Kamianske, Prymorske, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Bilohiria, and Novodarivka. Additionally, three MLRS attacks struck Kamianske and Novodarivka. There were 142 artillery strikes on Kamianske, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Bilohiria, Novodarivka, and Malynivka. Authorities recorded 25 reports of damaged residential buildings and infrastructure.
It is reported that the russian forces made one assault attempt near Novopilia. The enemy continued aerial and engineering reconnaissance towards Huliaipole.
The occupation authorities in the temporarily occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia are allocating budget funds to create additional classes and courses where students repair drones and weave camouflage nets. According to the resistance movement “Yellow Ribbon,” all clubs and additional courses for schoolchildren are now required to include elements of “practical application within the framework of the special military operation.”
Law enforcement officers evacuated a woman with two children and a mobility-impaired couple from frontline communities in Zaporizhzhia oblast. Nadiia, a resident of the village of Yurivka in Tavriiske community, was evacuated with her 5-year-old daughter and 7-year-old son to relatives in the suburbs of Zaporizhzhia. Police officers also helped evacuate a mobility-impaired couple from Stepnohirsk.
Zaporizhzhia became the first city in Ukraine visited by a UN delegation led by Tom Fletcher, UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator. The purpose of the visit was to assess the humanitarian situation and explore ways to enhance assistance for those most affected by the war.
Mykolaiv oblast
Today, the russian army attacked the village of Solonchaky in Kutsurub community with an FPV drone. A 71-year-old man was injured in the strike and has been hospitalized.
An explosion occurred in Snihurivka community. According to preliminary information, it was outside populated areas.
Yesterday, 11 January, at 1:57 p.m., the enemy carried out an artillery strike on Kutsurub community. Additionally, the enemy launched two FPV drone attacks on the coastal waters of Ochakiv community. No casualties were reported.
On 12 January, a peaceful reminder rally was held in Mykolaiv in support of military personnel who are prisoners of war or missing. Relatives, friends, and concerned residents gathered with posters and flags to show their solidarity with the defenders. The event was attended by 250 people.
Odesa oblast
As of 6 a.m. on 12 January, one enemy carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to four missiles was present in the Black Sea. There were seven enemy vessels in the Mediterranean Sea, including two carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles with a combined salvo of up to 22 missiles.
Over the past day, eight vessels passed through the Kerch Strait into the Black Sea in the interests of the russian federation, while six ships entered the Sea of Azov.
Kherson oblast
This morning, russian forces attacked Antonivka with UAVs, injuring a 47-year-old woman who sustained blast injuries and shrapnel wounds to her forearm, legs, and lower back.
At approximately 3:10 p.m. two individuals, a 56-year-old man and a 49-year-old woman, were injured in a UAV strike in Antonivka. Both sustained blast injuries and were hospitalized. Additionally, three more injuries were reported by Kherson Regional Military Administration: a 58-year-old man was diagnosed with blast trauma and leg wounds, and two men aged 21 and 31 received blast injuries and leg wounds. Their conditions are considered moderate.
Around 9 a.m., occupiers dropped an explosive device from a drone on a resident of Kherson, resulting in a 57-year-old woman suffering a blast injury and shrapnel wound to her leg. Later, a 62-year-old man sought medical attention with a blast injury to his shoulder.
Yesterday, russian forces targeted 47 settlements in Kherson oblast, including Beryslav, Tomyna Balka, Oleksandrivka, Stanislav, Osokorivka, Tomaryne, Antonivka, Havrylivka, Zmiivka, Sadove, Prydniprovske, Inzhenerne, Burhunka, Novoraisk, Blahovishchenske, Vyrivka, Vesele, Veletenske, Dniprovskе, Dudchany, Novotiahynka, Novooleksandrivka, Poniativka, Molodizhne, Monastyrske, Mykhailivka, Mykolaivka, Mykilske, Olhivka, Odradokamianka, Tiahynka, Tokarivka, Rozlyv, Kozatske, Kostyrka, Kachkarivka, Ivanivka, Lviv, Yantarne, Shliakhove, Shyroka Balka, Zelenivka, Zolota Balka, Chervonyi Maiak, Ukrainka, Bilozerka, and the city of Kherson. The attacks damaged two apartment buildings, eight private homes, a warehouse, and several vehicles. One person was killed, and two others were injured due to russian agression.
According to the South Operational Command, the island area at the Dnipro River delta remains a priority for the enemy. The enemy made two unsuccessful assault attempts and retreated after significant losses. Southern Ukraine’s defense forces eliminated 79 occupiers, destroyed five artillery systems, seven vehicles, four Shahed-136 drones, one Zala reconnaissance drone, two motorcycles, three boats, a Starlink satellite terminal, two Murom-M surveillance cameras, and four generators. Additionaly 12 enemy bunkers, three UAV launch sites and three communication antennas were struck.
In December 2024, mobile clinic doctors visited 11 settlements, providing qualified medical assistance. A total of 499 people were examined, and 792 consultations were conducted by specialists including neurologists, cardiologists, ophthalmologists, gynecologists, therapists, surgeons, and psychologists.

The 32nd Separate Battalion of the National Guard of Ukraine received 4 EcoFlow DELTA 2 charging stations, a Shelter 6M portable radio-electronic countermeasures against unmanned aerial vehicles, an inverter gasoline electric generator with equipment and 5 OUKITEL RT68/256GB 4GDUAL SIM BLACK tablets. As a sign of gratitude, the military presented Lutsk City Council with souvenirs from the war zone.
The 124th Separate Brigades of Territorial Defense received 2 EcoFlow DELTA 2 charging stations from Lutsk community.
Zakarpattia oblast
In the humanitarian hub of the city of Svaliava of Starobil RMA, IDP from Luhansk oblast who have disabilities received aids for greater mobility. In addition, warm winter boots were issued for women and children who found themselves in difficult conditions.
Ivano-Frankivsk oblast
In Kolomyia organized interesting leisure activities for the children of the military of the 10th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade Edelveis. Lviv oblast
The Christmas Birds campaign was held in the village of Mshanets, Strilkiv community. Well-known Ukrainian performers and about 146 nurseries from different parts of our country, including Lviv oblast, took part in it. Thanks to the event, as of today, it was possible to collect almost UAH 3m. All proceeds will go towards the purchase of a radio electronic warfare (EW) system, which will help protect soldiers of the 80th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade of Halicia from enemy drones.
Rivne oblast
The RMA reported that for 2024, manufacturers of defense technologies from Rivne oblast have signed 28 contracts worth UAH 4bn with the state.
Over 37,000 people received help at Sustainability Centers in Rivne oblast in 2024. Specialists of Centers conducted information and counseling activities, provided social and psychological assistance.
Ternopil oblast
14 defenders will receive financial aid for treatment and rehabilitation from Ternopil City Council. Also, 40 military personnel will receive funds for the purchase of equipment.
Khmelnytskyi oblast
At night, during an air alarm signal, the Air Defense units destroyed 1 enemy UAV of the Shahed type. There were no injuries, deaths or destruction.
Khmelnytskyi City Council reported that part of the cost of the generator was reimbursed to one of the enterprises under the city program.
Chernivtsi oblast
The RMA held a meeting with representatives of The Case of Kolping in Ukraine non-governmental organization. The socio-economic integration of IDPs is an important direction of the cooperation between RMA and the Kolping Affairs in Ukraine organization. The organization has been operating in Ukraine for over 12 years: it is engaged in social and educational work, community development and supports people with disabilities and IDPs. Among the successful projects in Bukovina – A Roof for IDPs with the support of the Renovabi CF, in the 1st days of the full-scale invasion, the organization managed to provide a comfortable place for over 600 adults and 200 children of IDPs. And Social Kitchen, which was started back in 2001, ensures the daily preparation and delivery of over 550 portions of free lunches.
International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)
The EU sent the first €3bn to Ukraine at the expense of russian frozen assets. Ukraine will direct this tranche to priority budget expenditures.
Germany will send 6 IRIS-T systems to Ukraine in 2025. In addition, the country will provide Ukrainians with 50 guided missiles for the IRIS-T systems.
Canada will provide Ukraine with CAD 440m in military aid. The funds will go to the Czech initiative for the purchase of ammunition, projectiles of various calibers from the Canadian industry, support for the production of drones in Ukraine and winter equipment for the military.
Moldova employed 1,598 Ukrainian refugees. Most of the Ukrainians who were able to find work in Chisinau – 1,225 people. Another 94 refugees found work in Bălți, and 60 – in Gagauzia.
