It has been the 1357th day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression. 

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 4 pm:   

On November 11, there were 118 combat engagements.

 

The enemy shelled the border settlements of Bobylivka, Starykove, Korenok and Bila Bereza in the Sumy oblast with artillery.

Towards Northern Sloboda and Kursk, there were seven combat engagements. In addition, the enemy carried out 89 shelling attacks, including two from multiple launch rocket systems. 

Towards Southern Sloboda, there were 13 combat engagements near Vovchansk, Vovchanski Khutory, Odradne and Dvorichanske. Seven enemy attacks are currently ongoing.

Towards Kupiansk, eleven combat engagements are currently ongoing. The enemy made 16 attempts to advance toward Ukrainian positions near Kupiansk, Stepova Novoselivka, Borivska Andriivka, Hlushkivka, Petropavlivka and Novoosynove.

Towards Lyman, there were six combat engagements. The enemy attacked in the areas of Ridkodub, Nadiia, Tverdokhlibove, Kolodiazi and in the direction of Korovyn Yar.

Towards Sloviansk, the enemy launched seven attacks near Dronivka, Siversk, Serebrianka and Pereizne.

No offensive actions by the enemy were recorded towards Kramatorsk 

The Defence Forces repelled 11 enemy attacks towards Kostiantynivka. The invaders attempted to advance near the settlements of Bila Hora, Shcherbynivka, Pleshchiivka, Kostiantynivka, Yablunivka, Rusyn Yar and Sofiivka.

Towards Pokrovsk, russian troops made 46 attempts to advance on the positions of Ukrainian forces near the settlements of Volodymyrivka, Nykanorivka, Chervonyi Lyman, Myrnohrad, Rodynske, Lysivka, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske and Novomykolayivka. Ukrainian defenders have already repelled 38 attacks; fighting continues.

Towards Oleksandrivka, Ukrainian defenders repelled seven enemy assaults near the settlements of Sosnivka, Novomykolayivka, Pershotravneve and Solodke. Two more enemy attacks are still ongoing.

Towards Huliaipole, fighting continues near the settlements of Zelenyi Hai and Novouspenske.

Towards Orikhiv, the Defence Forces repelled an enemy assault towards the settlement of Prymorske.

No offensive actions by the enemy were recorded towards Kherson. 

The Parliament of Ukraine has approved a deferment from mobilization for servicemen who have completed one year of service under the “18–24” contract program. This applies to those who signed contracts under the government’s experimental program at the age of 18 to 24 and have served for a year in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Those who choose not to extend their contracts will receive a 12-month deferment from mobilization. After this period, they may be called up for service again.

Yuliia Svyrydenko, Ukraine’s Prime Minister, reported that the government has announced a new winter support package for Ukrainians, combining existing programs with new assistance measures. The package will include fixed energy prices for households, housing subsidies, support for housing cooperatives to improve energy efficiency, aid for purchasing electric generators, a moratorium on disconnections in frontline areas, and payments to internally displaced persons (IDPs) for firewood, along with other new support measures. 

Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

Kharkiv oblast

Frontline
As of 4pm, there were 13 combat engagements towards Southern Slobozhanske in Vovchansk, Vovchanski Khutory, Odradne, and towards Dvorichanske. Seven attacks are ongoing.

Towards Kupiansk, the russians have attempted to advance 16 times in the areas of Kupiansk, Stepova Novoselivka, Borivska Andriivka, and towards Hlushevka, Petropavlivka, and Novoosynove. Eleven battles are still ongoing.

Over the past day, 170 combat clashes were recorded.

Towards Southern Slobozhanske, 10 combat clashes took place in the areas of Vovchansk, Vovchanski Khutory, and Kamianka.

Towards Kupiansk, 11 attacks by the occupiers were recorded during the day. The defence forces repelled the enemy’s assault in the areas of Pishchane, Petropavlivka, Kupiansk and Hlushevka.

Andrii Tkachuk, an officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and military observer, reported that russian troops are concentrating their forces towards Southern Slobozhanske, trying to surround Vovchansk and create a single buffer zone by connecting the breakthrough points, in particular Bolohivka.

The three most difficult directions remain Vovchansk, Kupiansk and Borova. All statements by russian propagandists about the alleged encirclement are false. The situation is difficult, but completely controlled by our armed forces.

Attacks

Viacheslav Zadorenko, Head of Derhachi Military Administration, reported that a resident of Kozacha Lopan was injured as a result of a Russian FPV drone strike on his car. According to him, the man suffered concussion and injuries to his limbs. He was hospitalised in a moderate condition.

Kharkiv police said that in the morning of 11 November, russian troops struck Vysoke. Administrative buildings were damaged.

Over the past day, six settlements in Kharkiv oblast were hit by enemy strikes.

As a result of the shelling in the village of Rubizhne, Vovchansk community, a 24-year-old and a 42-year-old man, as well as a 16-year-old boy, were injured.

The enemy actively used various types of weapons in Kharkiv oblast:

▪️missile (type to be determined);

▪️3 UAVs of the Geran-2 type;

▪️1 FPV drone;

▪️3 UAVs (type to be determined).

Civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged and destroyed:

▪️in Bohodukhiv region, 2 administrative buildings, a trade kiosk, a car, a coffee shop, a bank premises, a church (Bohodukhiv town), and a garage (Huty village) were damaged;

▪️in Kupiansk region, a private house, a garage, and a car were damaged (village of Zamist);

▪️in Izium region, a shop was damaged (village of Borova);

▪️in Chuhuiv region, a car was damaged (village of Rubizhne).

▪️in Kharkiv region, administrative buildings were damaged (village of Vysoke).

Other
The transit evacuation point in Lozova took in 52 people in one day. 30 people remain. A total of 11,610 people have been registered at the point since it began operating.

A book by historian Eduard Zub, who went missing at the front in November 2022, entitled ‘Kharkiv. Crosses. Skyscrapers. Behind the scenes of the red myth’ has been published by Oleksandr Savchuk, the publisher announced on his Facebook page.

There are about 100 Invincibility Centres in Kharkiv and over 1,000 more in the region. All of them have been prepared in advance and are operating continuously.

According to Lozova Mayor Serhii Zelenskyi, almost all boiler rooms in the Lozova community are out of order after russian strikes. Only hospitals are currently being heated.

Donetsk oblast

Frontline
The 7th Corps of the Airborne Forces reported that there are over 300 russian soldiers in Pokrovsk. The occupiers are trying to bring in light equipment through the southern outskirts of the city, taking advantage of the thick fog. Since the beginning of November, the Defence Forces have destroyed over 160 russian infantrymen in Pokrovsk.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Defence Forces struck a russian army warehouse in the temporarily occupied Donetsk and a concentration of russian forces near Ocheretyne.

Attacks

The CMA reported that russian troops shelled Kostiantynivka with artillery and drones throughout the day, injuring two people.

Kramatorsk Military Administration said that at 1:32pm, russian troops struck one of the local recreation parks in Kramatorsk, targeting a football field. There were no casualties.

On 10 November, the police recorded 2,371 enemy strikes on the front line and residential areas.

7 settlements were under attack: Druzhkivka, Kostiantynivka, Kramatorsk, Lyman, Sviatohirsk, Illinivka and Rubtsi.

12 civilian objects were destroyed, including four residential buildings.

In Kostiantynivka, a russian FPV drone killed a civilian and damaged a motorcycle.

The city council stated that 8 enemy drones attacked Kramatorsk, killing a man and damaging two private houses, an educational institution, and an infrastructure facility. A woman born in 1960 was injured. As a result of the evening strike on the city, 81 private residential buildings and an educational institution were damaged.

In Druzhkivka and Lyman, russians damaged one private house each, and in Sviatohirsk, they damaged two non-residential buildings.

In Illinivka and Rubtsi, one civilian car was damaged.

Yuliia Ryzhakova, Acting Head of Donetsk Regional State Administration’s Children’s Affairs Service, reported that power and water supply interruptions, curfew from 3 p.m. to 11 a.m., shelling almost every day. These are the conditions in which people live in Druzhkivka. As of the end of October, according to the Druzhkivka military administration in response to a request from Suspilne Donbas, about 22,000 residents remained in the city. During the first week of November, 101 children were evacuated from Druzhkivka.

Donetskoblhaz reported that gas supplies were cut off in Lyman due to damage to an underwater gas pipeline. The network cannot be restored due to russian shelling.

As a result of the russian army’s attack last week, more than 1,000 subscribers, the entire population, were left without gas supplies.

Luhansk oblast

The enemy is pressing towards both Lyman and Siversk. Yesterday, it attempted to find weak spots in the Ukrainian defenders’ defences 10 times. It attacked near four settlements. In four cases, it used barrel artillery. In six cases, it directed FPV drones and unmanned aerial vehicles towards our troops.

In the territory of the so-called “lpr”, the occupiers have significantly increased the cost of renting office and retail space. On average, prices have risen by 70%. This applies not only to Luhansk, but also to smaller towns, where offers with even higher prices can be found. Tenants have been left with virtually no choice but to agree to the new terms in order to keep their businesses open. 

In the new districts of Siverskodonetsk, the invaders have demonstratively rebuilt another high-rise building. For the occupiers, the main thing is to report back. They do not care about the quality of the repairs. In particular, there are several burnt-out flats in this building that the people working on the site have not even touched. The apartments are missing interior walls that were previously destroyed by shelling, there is no electricity, and the floors are also damaged.

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

The Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yuliia Svyrydenko, visited the Ukrainian Women’s Guard Hub in Borodianka. During the visit, Olena Biletska introduced the Prime Minister to the programs aimed at supporting women and their families during the war, including psychological assistance, mine safety education, self-defense and survival training, canine therapy programs, women’s economic empowerment, inclusive education, and gender equality promotion.

The Prime Minister expressed her support for the Ukrainian Women’s Guard’s work in rebuilding vulnerable communities and discussed opportunities for further cooperation between civil society, business, and the government to foster regional development and recovery.

The meeting was also attended by Mykola Kalashnyk, Head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.

Kyiv City Military Administration has announced that scheduled and emergency power cuts in Kyiv may cause temporary changes to the operation of public transport, including trams, trolleybuses and the funicular railway. Traffic changes will be adjusted in accordance with the power cut schedules.

Kyiv City Military Administration announced that a new Programme for the Support, Integration and Adaptation of Internally Displaced Persons for the period 2026-2028 has been approved in Kyiv. The document covers several key areas that provide comprehensive support to IDPs: legal and psychological assistance, and social support for families. The programme provides for vouchers for retraining, training and professional development, as well as grants for starting or developing a business.

In the village of Zdzhivivka, Bucha territorial community, a new modular boiler room was launched, to provide heat to the school, kindergarten, mayor’s office, and cultural centre. The project was implemented in cooperation with PKPP Teplokomunservis.

Solar panels have been installed at the Pashkiv Lyceum in Makariv community as part of the project ‘Improving access to educational opportunities for students and educators affected by the conflict.’ The initiative is being implemented by the MriiDii Educational Foundation in partnership with the Norwegian Refugee Council and with the support of Norway.

A delegation from Latvia visited the Bila Tserkva region: representatives of the government, business and volunteers – members of the charity foundation “Entrepreneurs for Peace”. The participants discussed joint plans for cooperation within the framework of the recently signed Memorandum of Cooperation. Representatives of the Republic of Latvia handed over another batch of charitable aid – three cars, two of which are off-road vehicles that will be used to strengthen the technical capabilities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, while the station wagon will be used to provide social services for transporting veterans.

Zhytomyr oblast

The Regional Military Administration reported that Zhytomyr oblast is expanding its energy independence – more than 1,722 households already use their own solar power stations. This will not only help meet the needs of residents, but also strengthen the region’s energy security in the face of military challenges.

Zhytomyr Regional Council’s Centre for Training Citizens for National Resistance reported that students of the Ivan Franko State University of Zhytomyr have completed a training course in preparation for national resistance. After the theoretical course, the knowledge gained was reinforced in practice. In addition to weapon handling and first aid skills, the cadets tested their acquired skills in terrain orientation and practised teamwork in field conditions.

Sumy oblast

On the morning of 11 November the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that towards Northern Sloboda and Kursk, 16 combat engagements were recorded over the past day. The russian army carried out 145 artillery strikes, including four from multiple launch rocket systems.

From the morning of 10 November to the morning of 11 November, russian forces conducted 12 attacks on six settlements across five territorial communities of the oblast. The heaviest shelling occurred in Sumy and Shostka regions. The enemy used UAVs, MLRS, and FPV drones against the oblast. The air raid alert in Sumy oblast lasted a total of 10 hours and 57 minutes during the day.

As of the morning of 11 November, russian strikes damaged civilian infrastructure facilities in Sumy community and destroyed several private houses in Znob-Novhorodske community.

The State Environmental Inspectorate in Sumy oblast has initiated Ukraine’s first-ever court case seeking environmental damages from russian military officials. The lawsuit targets senior officers of the russian armed formations responsible for the 2022 invasion of Sumy oblast. According to the Inspectorate, among their war crimes was the bombing of Sumy on 7 March 2022 by nine FAB-500 bombs, which killed over 20 civilians, including children. The attack completely destroyed part of a residential area in the city, while in Bytytsia village, residential buildings and a recreation base were damaged.

Oleh Hryhorov, Head of the Regional Military Administration, said that planned engineering and fortification works continue at the entrances to Sumy city, coordinated with the Armed Forces.

Chernihiv oblast

Chernihiv Border Detachment reported that throughout 10 November, russian forces attacked four border communities of the oblast — Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka, Horodnia, and Snovsk.

The enemy carried out mortar attacks (18 explosions) and shelling with barrel artillery (6 explosions), launched FPV drone strikes (5 explosions), and dropped explosive devices from UAVs (7 explosions).

No civilian casualties were reported at the time of publication.

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

Air defence forces were active in the oblast, successfully shooting down an enemy UAV.

In Synelnykove region, russian forces continued drone attacks on Vasylkivka community, causing a fire and damaging an enterprise.

In Nikopol region, the occupiers shelled Nikopol overnight and in the morning by artillery and MLRS.

Synelnykove region. The russian military carried out an UAV strikes on Vasylkivka and Pokrovske communities. Fires broke out, cars were destroyed. Administrative buildings, a café, private homes, outbuildings and a summer kitchen were damaged.

Nikopol region, about 30 attacks were recorded. The occupiers struck by drones and artillery, targeting the regional center, Marhanets, Myrove, Pokrovske and Chervonohryhorivka communities. 12 private houses, 3 farm buildings, an agricultural enterprise, a car, solar panels, a gas pipeline and power lines were damaged.

Vinnytsia oblast

Mayor Serhii Morhunov reported that Vinnytsia oblast reinforced the 24th Border Detachment, whose soldiers defend various sections of the frontline and guard the state border. This time, 2 vehicles were delivered to the defenders. Also, FPV drones were presented as gifts for the unit’s participation in the Invincible Vinnytsia Festival.

Kirovohrad oblast

In Kropyvnytskyi, memorial ceremonies were held for 4 servicemen: Senior Soldiers Maksym Maievskyi, Oleksandr Bichenko and Oleksii Rudman, and Sailor Ruslan Bukata.

Maksym Maievskyi was killed on 1 November 2025 during a combat mission near Lyman village, Chuhuiv region, Kharkiv oblast.

Oleksandr Bichenko was killed on 29 October 2025 while performing a combat mission near Kryvorizhzhia village, Pokrovsk region, Donetsk oblast.

Oleksii Rudman went missing on 31 January 2024 during fighting near Mala Tokmachka, Polohy region, Zaporizhzhia oblast. In October 2025, DNA testing confirmed his death.

Ruslan Bukata had been missing since December 2024. DNA testing confirmed that he was killed on 10 December 2024 while performing a combat mission near Berestky village, Donetsk oblast.

In Oleksandriia, a memorial ceremony was held for Serviceman Roman Pazynich, who was killed on 29 October in Kharkiv oblast.

In Kirovohrad region, the implementation of the state yeRobota (eWork) project continues. This year, 12 IDPs received microgrants totaling UAH 2.7m, using them to open a rehabilitation studio, a café, a child development and daycare center, and a sewing workshop. Also, 18 combat veterans and 23 family members of fallen or active defenders received business start-up grants totaling UAH 19.4m. Their business activities include freight transport, a printing house, an active leisure club and new agricultural enterprises. These initiatives will create 47 new jobs.

Svitlana Ratushna, Co-founder of the Volunteer Alliance organisation,  said that in Novoukrainka, volunteers are preparing ready-to-eat meals for soldiers, designed to be delivered by drones to the front lines. They send traditional Ukrainian dishes such as borsch, holubtsi and stuffed peppers. The meals are prepared and packaged by members of the Volunteer Alliance organisation. Currently, they produce about 80 retort pouches per day and plan to increase output to 200.

Poltava oblast

Defender Serhii Petrenko from Velyka Bahachka was killed in action on 5 November while carrying out a combat mission in Donetsk oblast.

Cherkasy oblast

In Zvenyhorod region, residents paid tribute to fallen defender Pavlo Tulba, who had been missing for over a year. He was killed on 24 August 2024 while performing a combat mission near Kalynove, Pokrovsk region, Donetsk oblast.

In Uman region, serviceman Dmytro Kravchenko was posthumously awarded a badge of honor from his battalion commander. Dmytro Kravchenko, a native of Synytsia village and a junior sergeant with the 13th Separate Air Assault Battalion named after Hero of Ukraine Colonel Taras Seniuk, was killed in March 2022. The award was presented to his mother.

During a session of Cherkasy City Council, deputies allocated UAH 5m from the city budget to purchase technical equipment for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast

Ivan Fedorov, Head of Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, reported that a 56-year-old man was killed as a result of a russian FPV drone attack on Huliaipole. The russian troops struck a civilian vehicle, killing the driver.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Defence Forces repelled 5 russian attacks near Prymorske in Orikhiv region. In Huliaipole region, russian forces unsuccessfully attacked 7 times near Zelenyi Hai and Rivnopillia.

Ivan Fedorov, Head of the RMA, stated that on 10 November, russian forces carried out 527 strikes on 13 towns and villages in Zaporizhzhia oblast. In particular, 307 drones targeted Bilenke, Chervonodniprovka, Prymorske, Stepove, Huliaipole, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Chervone and Rivnopillia.

Kushuhum community informed that in Malokaterynivka, a mandatory evacuation of the population has been announced due to a significant deterioration of the security situation and the intensification of hostilities. Authorities urged residents to take the decision seriously, not to delay evacuation, and to follow the instructions of the services coordinating departures. Additional logistics details will be provided separately.

Mykolaiv oblast

Referring to Mykolaiv RMA, russian forces attacked Ochakiv and Halytsynove communities 6 times by FPV drones and shelled Kutsurub community by artillery. As a result of one of the attacks, a summer house was damaged in Lupareve village. There were no casualties or injuries reported.

Odesa oblast

Based on the information provided by Odesa RMA, on 11 November, russian drone fell in the middle of a residential area in one of Odesa’s districts. Law enforcement officers collected the debris.

During the night, russia attacked Odesa oblast by strike drones. As a result, facilities of civil energy and transport infrastructure were damaged, including a Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian railway) depot, administrative buildings and a private house. 1 person sustained shrapnel injuries and received necessary medical assistance.

Kherson oblast

According to the Prosecutor’s Office, as of 5:30pm, 4 people were reported injured as a result of russian strikes on Kherson oblast. 2 people were injured in drone attacks in Kherson and Dariivka, while 2 others came under attack in Bilozirka and Komyshany. Private houses and vehicles were damaged.

The CMA reported that around 2:20pm, russian troops shelled Komyshany near Kherson, injuring a 67-year-old woman who was diagnosed with blast and mine-related injuries.

The State Emergency Service reported that during the day, russian forces attacked a civilian car in Kherson by a drone, causing a fire that was later extinguished by rescuers.

The RMA informed that at about 11am, russian troops attacked a car on a highway in Kherson oblast by a drone. An 83-year-old man sustained a concussion, blast and closed head injuries and shrapnel wounds to the head and back. He was hospitalised.

In Kherson, at around 11am, russian troops attacked a municipal enterprise worker by a drone. The 46-year-old man suffered a blast injury and shrapnel wounds to the abdomen.

In the morning, russian forces struck Bilozirka in Kherson oblast, injuring a 33-year-old woman who is currently hospitalised.

Yesterday in Kherson, a 55-year-old man was injured in a russian drone attack. Today, he was taken to hospital with a blast injury, concussion and shrapnel wound to his leg.

According to the Southern Defence Forces, on Prydniprovsk front, on 10 November, russian troops attempted to advance towards the Antonivskyi bridges 3 times but unsuccessfully.

Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of the RMA, stated that on 10 November, 7 people, including a child, were injured in russian attacks on Kherson oblast. The rssian forces struck 31 settlements, damaging a gas pipeline, 2 high-rise buildings, 12 private houses and several vehicles.

Latest news for today in the western regions of Ukraine

Volyn oblast

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Lutskvodokanal enterprise has donated about 100 cars to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The total amount of assistance to the army through the Stop russian Aggression Fund is almost UAH 12m.

Zakarpattia oblast

Uzhhorod City Council held a meeting with Cor Stamer Andreasen, Financial Director of the Danish Export Investment Fund (EIFO). They discussed the possibilities of financing joint projects with the Danish Export Investment Fund.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

The 3rd Battalion Svoboda, the 4th Brigade of the National Guard Rubizh received a ground drone and 50 FPV drones from Ivano-Frankivsk community.

Lviv oblast

The Priority 4_5_0 CF sent a MAVIC 3 CLASSIC drone to the 68th brigade in Pokrovsky region and an ECOFLOW DELTA 2 charging station, a 3.5 KV inventory generator, and a CHUIKA 3.0 drone detector to a serviceman in Pokrovsky region.

Mariia Fedoryshyn and Bolohna community donated EUR 600 for a pickup truck for a serviceman from Strii, who recently turned 21, but has been defending Ukraine for over a year. The collection for the car, which was organized by a volunteer, Hero’s mother Nataliia Palenychka, was also joined by Hero’s mother Valentyna Stelmakh, who added UAH 22,000.

Volunteers of the Create Good Team CF during a performance in Khodoriv raised almost UAH 13,000 to purchase a video signal detector for FPV drones and UAH 22,468 in Zhydachev for winter tires for brigades of fellow countrymen.

Rivne oblast

The RMA reported that almost 6,000 appeals were received by veteran support specialists in Rivne oblast this year.

Ternopil oblast

Another transfer of vehicles for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the social project Ihor Vitenko’s Mission took place in Zbarazh. This time, the military received seven vehicles and a fire truck will go to Bilopol community, Sumy oblast

Khmelnytskyi oblast

Khmelnytskyi community has donated 70 unmanned aerial vehicles worth UAH 1.5m to one of the combat units of the Defense Forces.

Chernivtsi oblast

Chernivtsi Teplokomunenerho Municipal Enterprise informed the population about preparations for winter and possible power outages. Small boiler houses are equipped with generators, and large ones are equipped with cogeneration units, which allow them to operate autonomously.

International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)

Czech volunteers raised money for a Flamingo missile for Ukraine in two days. The funds raised will be used to purchase 2 Flamingo missiles instead of one. Ukrainian missile manufacturer Fire Point announced that it will double the donations.
