Donetsk oblast
The russian army is actively attacking towards Lyman in Donetsk oblast and seeks to infiltrate the city with infantry. According to Viktor Trehubov, Spokesperson for the Joint Forces Group, the occupiers are exerting efforts in this sector to potentially launch assaults towards Sloviansk and Kramatorsk in the future.
Towards Lyman, the intensity of combat engagements is increasing; however, no recent occupant advances have been recorded. Rostyslav Yashchyshyn, Head of communications for the 63rd Brigade, stated that Ukrainian defenders are effectively destroying russian assault groups attempting to pass between Ukrainian positions.
Volunteers from UAnimals evacuated a cat family—a mother cat and four kittens—from Kramatorsk. They were afraid of people, so it was only possible to take them all out on the second attempt.
russia continues the militarization of children and teenagers in the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts. In military training camps, minors are trained alongside adults who have gone through the war, which normalizes violence and pseudo-heroism and prepares the youth for further service in the russian army. One of the key tools of this policy is the “Voin” (Warrior) center, with branches operating in Luhansk and Berdiansk; the largest camp is being completed in Mariupol.
Luhansk oblast
Yesterday, the invaders carried out ten assaults towards Lyman and three more towards Sloviansk. Combat operations took place in the vicinity of six settlements. Occupiers continue to leave cities and villages in Luhansk oblast without centralized water supply. An emergency shutdown of a pumping station became another pretext to stop water delivery in the so-called “lpr” for several days. This time, water supply was cut off to Perevalsk, Brianka, Kadiivka, Irmino, Zorinsk, and several other settlements, while in Alchevsk, water supply was significantly limited. Occupiers offer no specific timeline for restoration—only “after stabilization of electricity supply in the region.”
In the new districts of Severodonetsk, on the eve of winter, russians began a showcase repair of a high-rise building that was seriously damaged at the beginning of the full-scale invasion. After dismantling roof elements, the building was left for the winter, leading to another flooding of apartments.
