Russian invaders continue to storm the positions of Ukrainian defenders.

In total, 88 combat engagements have been recorded over the day

The border settlements suffered from cynical shelling from the territory of the russian Federation, specifically: Archipivka, Hremiach in Chernihiv oblast; Marchikhina Buda, Bila Bereza, Ulanove, Velyka Pysarivka, Chuikivka, Pokrovka, Marine, Prokhody, Oleksandrivka, Turia, Malushyne, Bobylivka in Sumy oblast; areas near Hremyach in Chernihiv oblast were hit by guided aerial bombs.

Towards Kharkiv, Ukrainian defenders stopped three aggressor attacks in the areas of Vovchansk, Kamianka and Hlyboke. 

Towards Kupiansk, four enemy attacks took place since the beginning of the day. Ukrainian defence forces repelled the enemy’s assault near Holubivka, Stepova Novoselivka and Kolisnykivka. One firefight is still ongoing.

Towards Lyman, the invading army attacked four times near Lipove and in the direction of Olhivka. Two firefights are currently ongoing. 

Towards Siversk, the enemy has not conducted any offensive actions. 

Towards Kramatorsk, Ukrainian defenders repelled four enemy attempts to advance in the areas of Bila Hora and Kurdiumivka, and another firefight is ongoing. 

Towards Toretsk, the enemy attacked eight times in the areas of Dyliivka, Yablunivka and Toretsk, two of the battles are still ongoing.

Towards Pokrovsk, the invaders have made 21 attempts to push our defenders from their positions in the areas of Myroliubivka, Yelyzavetivka, Malynivka, Promin, Lysivka, Udachne, Bohdanivka, Oleksiivka, Zelenyi Kut, Andriivka and in the direction of Muravka. Ukrainian defence forces are holding back the enemy’s offensive and repelled 19 attacks, two firefights are still ongoing.

Towards Novopavlivka, the enemy attacked eight times near Novosilka, Zelene Pole, Vile Pole, Vesele, in the direction of Shevchenko and Zaporizhzhia. One firefight is still ongoing. Zaporizhzhia and Novopil were hit by air strikes with guided bombs.

Towards Huliaipole, one firefight with the enemy near Malynivka has been repelled since the beginning of the day, and two more are still ongoing. Huliaipole and Olhivske came under air strikes with unguided missiles. 

Towards Orikhiv, Ukrainian defenders repelled three enemy attacks in the areas of Novoandriivka, Stepove, Nesterianka and towards Pavlivka. One firefight is still ongoing. The enemy conducted air strikes on Novoandriivka and Kamianske. 

Towards Kherson, the enemy made two futile attempts to advance. Lvove came under air strikes with guided bombs.

Towards Kursk, Ukrainian defenders repelled 10 russian attacks, and four more engagements are ongoing. The enemy has carried out six air strikes, dropping a total of 10 guided aerial bombs on Ukrainian troops’ positions and settlements, and fired 121 artillery rounds, including two from multiple launch rocket systems.

The situation in other frontline areas did not change significantly.

 

The Ministry of Defence opened a training ground to test modern demining technologies. The training and testing complex has tracks and obstacle courses for light and heavy mechanised demining equipment. There are also areas for testing unmanned aerial and ground robotic systems, metal detectors, special demining equipment, and environmental monitoring equipment. The training ground is planned to accumulate experience in mine action, civil protection and environmental safety, as well as research and production capabilities for the development, testing and implementation of the latest innovative technologies.

Children returning from the occupation or after deportation will receive UAH 50,000 in assistance. These funds will allow parents or other legal representatives to create appropriate conditions for the child’s reintegration and adaptation in the government-controlled territory of Ukraine.

Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

Kharkiv oblast

Frontline
The General Staff reported that Ukrainian defenders stopped three russian attacks towards Kharkiv near Vovchansk, Kamianka and Hlyboke.

Four russian attacks have taken place towards Kupiansk over the day. Defence forces repelled the assault near Holubivka, Stepova Novoselivka and Kolisnykivka. As of 4pm, one firefight is ongoing.

Andrii Kanashevych, Head of Kupiansk Regional Military Administration, reported that russian troops have entered Kindrashivka, but it is a small group that has no logistics.

193 combat engagements were registered yeaterday. Towards Kharkiv, the aggressor stormed the positions of our defenders three times near Vovchansk, Vovchanski Khutory and Zapadne.

Towards Kupiansk, one occupant attack took place yesterday. Defence forces repelled the enemy’s assault in the area of Stepova Novoselivka.


Attacks
Mayor Ihor Terekhov said that over the past week, Kharkiv was shelled by the russian army 89 times. 64 strikes were carried out by Shaheds, and two more drones fell without exploding. 

According to him, last week russia also used D-30 UMPBMs, Tornado-S MLRS, KN-23, Iskander-M, X-35 missiles, and Molniya UAVs to attack the city.

Yesterday 9 settlements came under hostile attack. 

12 people were killed as a result of russian strikes last week, and more than 90 others suffered acute stress or injury. 

Since 7 June, the fate of six people who were at a factory in Kharkiv when it was attacked by russian drones has been unknown. The search and rescue operation is ongoing

Seven people were injured in the shelling.

In Staryi Saltiv, a 76-year-old and a 19-year-old man and women aged 41 and 59 were injured; in Kupiansk, a 75-year-old woman was wounded; in the village of Podoly of Kuryliv community, a 66-year-old man was injured. A 79-year-old man exploded on an unknown explosive device in the village of Martove of Pechenihy community.

The enemy actively used various types of weapons in Kharkiv oblast: 

▪️22 unguided aerial missiles;

▪️18 KAB;

▪️6 UAVs of the Geranium-2 type;

▪️4 UAVs (type to be determined);

▪️1 Molniya UAVs.

Civilian infrastructure was damaged and destroyed:

▪️ A private house was damaged in Kupiansk region;

▪️ In Chuhuiv region, 3 private houses, a shop, an enterprise, and 5 cars were damaged; 

▪️ In Bohodukhiv region, 2 administrative buildings, 3 apartment buildings, 2 private houses, a service station, a shop, and 7 cars were damaged;

▪️ In Kharkiv region, the territory of a children’s camp was damaged.

Other

Oleh Syniehubov, Head of the RMA, said that a 24-year-old defender from Izium region returned home as part of the prisoner of war exchange.

The RMA is expanding its network of safe spaces. By the end of 2025, 38 new underground schools will appear in the oblast, which will allow more than 50,000 children to attend offline or blended learning.

Donetsk oblast

Frontline

Viktor Trehubov, Spokesman of the Khortytsia military unit, reported that the invaders in Toretsk bypass Ukrainian positions in certain streets or landings and shoot videos of themselves allegedly controlling the territory. After that, the occupiers are killed, but for analytical services this may be the basis for claims that these positions are controlled by russia.

Officer Ihor Shafihulin reported that the russian army did not cross the administrative border between Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk oblast towards Pokrovsk in the area of responsibility of the Spartan brigade.

Attacks

Honcharenko, Head of the CMA, reported that the russian army struck Kramatorsk at around 3:55pm. According to preliminary data, a Molniya UAV was used for the second time in a day. According to a correspondent from the scene, at least one apartment building was damaged: windows were smashed, balconies were shattered, and cars were smashed in the yard. According to the head, there were no injuries.

After midnight, russia shelled Kramatorsk, hitting the industrial zone. Preliminary, there were no casualties. 

Yesterday police recorded 3,337 hostile attacks along the frontline and in the residential sector. One person was killed and five others were wounded in russian strikes in Donetsk oblast.

The attacks took place in 15 settlements: Bilytske, Kostiantynivka, Kramatorsk, Lyman, Vysokopillia, Viroliubivka, Dovha Balka, Ivanopillia, Krynytsi, Novotroitske, Rubtsi, Sofiivka, Stinky, Stepanivka, and Shevchenko.

The destruction of 58 civilian objects, including 27 residential buildings.

The russians shelled the walls of Kostiantynivka community with artillery, killing a civilian and damaging a private house.

The enemy dropped three KAB-250 bombs on Kramatorsk, wounding one person and causing damage to the industrial zone and railway.

A civilian was injured in Bilytske as a result of an FPV drone strike and an infrastructure facility was damaged.

Three people were injured in Kostiantynivka community. Two of them were injured in Ivanopillia, a private house was damaged. Another person was injured in Viroliubivka, 8 households were damaged.

In Lyman, three private houses were damaged. A KAB-250 bomb damaged a private house in Rubtsi, Lyman community. 

In Sofiivka, Druzhkivka community, russian UAVs damaged 4 private houses.

Other 

The police evacuated six people from under fire: a mother and her 9-year-old son, a pregnant woman and her husband, and an elderly couple. It turned out that it was the mother and her son. All evacuees are now in safer regions of the country.

Luhansk oblast

The RMA reported that the russians fired at the settlements located along the contact line and at the fortifications of the Ukrainian Armed Forces using all available weapons. Specifically, they carried out three air strikes. They fired from multiple launch rocket systems. Artillery pieces were fired 58 times. 82 drones were used. The enemy attacked in the areas of Hrekivka and Bilohorivka.

The so-called “lpr” promises to open a regional testing centre for the all-russian sports and fitness complex “Ready for work and defence”. The relevant municipal centres will also be created. This will allow for greater control over people who wish to take the tests. Because in the absence of local centres, the latter had to register in russia. Their data could be lost or not transferred to the “lpr”. So now, if you pass the test, it will be easier to get a tax rebate and receive a call-up to the russian army.

In some “catering establishments” in Siverskodonetsk, you can use Wi-Fi for rub 100. And it is in demand because the local population has no alternative. Or rather, a select few do. Citizens who stayed in the city are outraged that those who are allowed to install special equipment. Also, construction workers from russia have access to the Internet. In addition, the signal is switched on during working trips to Siverskodonetsk by officials from russia. The city is still without any internet or mobile connection.

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

The RMA reported that the russian night attack on Kyiv oblast lasted more than 10 hours. As a result of the enemy attack in Boryspil region, two private houses, a car and a farm building were damaged.

The City Military Administration stated that an office building in Darnytskyi district of Kyiv was damaged by the russian attack.

Rescue workers completed emergency restoration work at the site of the russian shelling on 6 June in Solomianskyi district of the capital. Over 3,000 tonnes of construction debris were removed.

Vyshevychi House of Culture announced that Artem Tishchenko, a defender from the Vyshevychi community in Zhytomyr oblast, had returned home after three years in captivity. His fellow villagers welcomed the soldier with a loaf of bread, flowers, and embroidered towels. Artem was captured in May 2022 after being wounded while performing a combat mission near the village of Dovhenke in Kharkiv oblast.

Bucha City Council informs that a charity boxing tournament, dedicated to the memory of the fallen soldier Artem Galaka, call sign Plemia, and other fallen soldiers, was held in the village of Babyntsi. Artem was a volunteer and went to the front at the age of 21. After being wounded, he returned to service and was killed towards Zaporizhzhia. In 2020, he and his brother created the sports club Zhyva Stal (Living Steel), whose team also participated in the tournament.

From 24 August to 1 September, Ukraine will present the installation Black Cloud at the world-famous Burning Man festival. It will be on display at Sophia Square in Kyiv on 8 and 9 June. The large-scale sculpture weighs 7 tonnes, is 30m long, 17m wide and 15 metres high, and consists of 45 small clouds made from 4km of black fabric. The “black cloud” periodically “comes to life” with flashes of lightning and thunder, accompanied by the sounds of explosions and shelling in Zaporizhzhia, symbolising a warning to the world about future challenges and dangers.

Zhytomyr oblast

One of the oblast’s best young athletes, 21-year-old Illia Kovalov from Zhytomyr, was killed at war. He was a master of sports in modern pentathlon, a member of the Ukrainian national team, and a student at Ivan Franko State University in Zhytomyr. In August 2024, Ilya joined the ranks of the elite special forces unit of the Security Service of Ukraine, and on 19 May 2025, while performing a dangerous mission in Sumy oblast, was killed by enemy drones.

In Berdychiv, construction has begun on a Walk of Fame in honour of the soldiers who died as a result of the russian-Ukrainian war. The memorial is planned for installation in the central part of the city, with work completed by autumn 2025.

An agrarian from Kharkiv oblast has revived the berry business in Zhytomyr oblast. Oleksandr Slastin, a specialist with over 20 years of experience in berry farming, moved to a safer place with only his agronomist colleague due to the full-scale war. Today, his company, Malyn Plant, located in the Malyn community, is actively developing and providing jobs for permanent and seasonal workers. His strawberry seedlings are even used in Greece.

Sumy oblast

 

The Regional Military Administration reported that over the past day, russian shelling in Sumy oblast injured nine civilians. In Nedryhailiv community, a ‘Lancet’ loitering munition strike wounded seven civilians, including a pregnant woman. In Esman community, an FPV-drone attack injured two civilians born in 1965 and 2007.

As a result of russian shelling, a private residential building was damaged in Esman community. In Nedryhailiv community, a shop, an educational institution, a private house, and four vehicles were damaged.

From the morning of 8 June to the morning of 9 June, russian forces carried out nearly 90 shellings across 35 settlements in 15 territorial communities of the oblast. The most intense attacks were recorded in Sumy and Shostka regions. The enemy actively used guided aerial bombs (over 10 strikes), multiple launch rocket systems (over 70 strikes), and UAV-dropped explosive devices (over 20 strikes). Additionally, russian forces launched FPV-drone and UAV attacks on Sumy oblast.

Over the past day, local authorities, together with units of the State Emergency Service, the National Police, and public organisations from border communities, evacuated 193 people.

Olena Sima, Head of Yunakivka community, informed that in 10km border zone, five people have refused to evacuate. They are being provided with food and hygiene supplies. In total, 127 people remain in Yunakivka community, but they do not live in the border area.

Chernihiv oblast

The Regional Military Administration reported that during the night of 9 June, russian forces attacked Nizhyn region by drones. As a result of the strike, residential houses and agricultural buildings were damaged.

The Department of Civil Protection and Defence Work of Chernihiv Regional Military Administration informed that as a result of russian attacks over the past day (from 8 to 9 June), three residential houses and four agricultural buildings were damaged in Berlozy, Chernihiv region, and Borzna, Nizhyn region.

According to Chernihiv Border Detachment, throughout 8 June, russian forces attacked four border communities in Chernihiv oblast: Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka, Horodnia, and Snovsk. The enemy carried out mortar shelling (32 explosions), barrel artillery strikes (4 explosions), and multiple launch rocket system attacks (20 explosions). They also launched FPV-drone strikes (16 explosions) and dropped explosive devices from UAVs (over 4 explosions). A total of 13 settlements came under enemy fire.

Viacheslav Chaus, Head of Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, said that over the past week, russian forces shelled all regions of the oblast. In total, the enemy carried out 215 attacks, resulting in 445 explosions. Enemy troops targeted 38 settlements, using cruise missiles, ‘Iskander-M’ ballistic missiles, ‘Shahed’ drones, ‘Geran’ drones, ‘Molniya’ UAVs, ‘Lancet’ loitering munitions, mortars, and FPV-drones.

In Chernihiv oblast, apart from the border villages, russian forces attacked the oblast centre for two consecutive nights. As a result of the strikes, three people were killed, and medical assistance was provided to eight others. Residential buildings, businesses, educational and medical institutions, and vehicles were destroyed.

As a result of a drone attack in Pryluky, five people were killed, including a rescuer’s family — his wife, daughter, and grandson. Nine others were injured. Residential buildings, vehicles, garages, a boiler house, and educational institutions were damaged.

In Koriukivka region, the border areas came under russian fire. The enemy attacked, including Snovsk city, by drones, damaging residential houses, agricultural buildings, and vehicles.

In Novhorod-Siverskyi region, a civilian man was killed due to russian shelling, and two others sustained shrapnel injuries. Enemy forces struck 24 settlements in the region. The attacks destroyed homes, businesses, hangars, and agricultural equipment.

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

It was noisy in the oblast. The sky defenders destroyed 6 enemy UAVs.

As a result of the attack in Samar region, a fire broke out. An outbuilding was damaged. In the morning, the enemy continued to shell Nikopol region with drones and artillery. They targeted the district center, Pokrovske and Marhanetsk communities. The consequences of the attacks are currently being clarified. They also hit Mala Mykhailivka community, Synelnykove region. Cars and private homes were damaged there.

 It was a difficult day in Nikopol region. The enemy attacked about 30 times. They were harassed with drones and artillery. In the afternoon, a 58-year-old man was killed in a drone strike in Nikopol. A 46-year-old man was also injured, he was hospitalized in moderate condition. The occupiers targeted the district center, Pokrovske, Tomakivka, Chervonohryhorivka and Marhanets communities. Several fires broke out, dry grass burned. An educational institution was damaged.

Vinnytsia oblast

​Serhii Morhunov, Mayor of Vinnytsia, announced that Ukraine has returned home captured defenders as part of the agreements in Istanbul. Among the released are soldiers Vladyslav and Sava from the oblast.

Kirovohrad oblast

Yaroslav Blazhko, Head of the Borets sports club, reported that in Kropyvnytskyi, wounded defenders can practice jiu-jitsu. Classes are held in the hall of the club. For over 10 years, Ukrainian, European and world champions in jiu-jitsu have been trained. Adaptive techniques have also been used for veterans with amputees.

Poltava oblast

Volodymyr Kohut, Acting Head of the RMA, reported that at night, a power line was damaged in Myrhorod region due to the fall of drone debris. Power engineers restored power supply thanks to a backup line. Further repair work is planned during the day.

Soldier Vitalii Dubov was buried in Poltava. He was killed on 3 June, 2025, as a result of enemy assault operations in the area where he was performing assigned tasks in Donetsk oblast.

Cherkasy oblast

The Air Defense Forces have been operating in Cherkasy oblast since night. 33 russian UAVs were neutralized within the territory.

4 houses, an outbuilding and a car were damaged. There was also a forest fire on an area of ​​2 hectares. It was quickly extinguished.

Ihor Taburets, Head of the RMA, reported that in Zolotonish region, 4 houses, outbuildings and a garage were damaged. As well as a canteen on the territory of a private enterprise. There were no injuries. 

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast

In the afternoon of 9 June, russian troops launched an airstrike on Zaporizhzhia city. Two women were injured, and at least seven private houses were destroyed.

Yesterday, on 8 June, the occupiers carried out 498 strikes on 14 settlements in Zaporizhzhia oblast. The enemy launched 8 airstrikes on Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Bilohiria, Malynivka, Olhivske, and Mala Tokmachka. 285 UAVs of various modifications (mainly FPV) attacked Lobkove, Kamianske, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Novodarivka, and Zaporizhzhia. 7 MLRS attacks hit Huliaipole, Novodarivka, and Novoandriivka. 198 artillery strikes targeted Lobkove, Kamianske, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, and Novodarivka. A 23-year-old man was injured as a result of an enemy attack on Zaporizhzhia oblast.

In the evening report, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that Ukraine’s Defense Forces repelled three russian attacks towards Orikhiv and one more towards Huliaipole. Three clashes are ongoing. On 8 June, the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled three attacks towards Orikhiv and four more towards Huliaipole.

Today, 9 June, during a prisoner exchange between Ukraine and russia, nine servicemen from Zaporizhzhia oblast were returned. According to Ivan Fedorov, Head of Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, all the soldiers were captured back in 2022. They are between 22 and 25 years old.

Mykolaiv oblast

Yesterday, 8 June, the enemy attacked Kutsurub community six times using FPV drones. Private houses were damaged in the villages of Ivanivka and Dmytrivka as a result of the attacks. A private home and a car were destroyed in Yaselka village. No casualties were reported.

Odesa oblast

Odesa National Opera reported that on 8 June, Vladyslav Horai, a world-class tenor, Honored Artist of Ukraine, and soloist of Odesa National Opera, was killed. He was carrying out a volunteer mission in Sumy oblast.

As of 6am on 8 June, 3 enemy ships were stationed in the Mediterranean Sea, including 1 carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles, with a total salvo capacity of up to 8 missiles.

Over the past day, 5 vessels passed through the Kerch Strait into the Black Sea in russia’s interests, while 7 more ships entered the Sea of Azov.

Kherson oblast

Around 2pm, russians attacked a car with a drone in Korabel neighbourhood in Kherson. A 74-year-old man sustained a blast injury and shrapnel wounds to the head.

Today, russians attacked a residential house in Novooleksandrivka with a UAV. The building burned down.

At noon, russian forces shelled Bilozerka with artillery. One of the shells landed near a house where a 34-year-old woman was located. She was hospitalized with a blast injury and concussion.

In the morning, russians attacked Bilozerka with a UAV. Two men sustained blast injuries, concussions, and traumatic brain injuries.

A resident of Bilozerka sought medical help after being injured in a russian shelling the previous day. The 77-year-old man suffered a blast injury, concussion, and traumatic brain injury.

A woman required medical attention after coming under russian shelling in Kherson on 5 June. Preliminary reports indicate she sustained a blast injury.

A Kherson resident sought medical help after being injured on 6 June due to the detonation of a russian explosive. The 58-year-old man stepped on a Lepestok anti-personnel mine and was diagnosed with a blast injury and shrapnel wounds to the legs.

Police evacuated from Beryslav a woman injured in a drone attack and her mother. The territorial police unit received a report that a 49-year-old local woman suffered shrapnel wounds to her arm and leg after a russian drone dropped an explosive device near her home. Her 86-year-old mother, who was with her, also needed evacuation from the danger zone.

Yesterday, the russian army attacked Antonivka, Tarasa Shevchenka, Beryslav, Mykilske, Poniativka, Bilozerka, Monastyrske, Kozatske, Vesele, Tiahynka, Lvove, Olhivka, Burhunka, Mykolaivka, Stanislav, Shyroka Balka, Zolota Balka, Oleksandrivka, Novoberyslav, Sadove, Prydniprovskе, Osokorivka, Novovorontsovka, Havrylivka, Dudchany, Kachkarivka, Novooleksandrivka, Novotiahynka, Rozlyv, Sofiivka, Tomaryne, Chornobaivka, and the city of Kherson. As a result of the attacks, three apartment buildings, 13 private houses, a utility structure, and private vehicles were damaged. Four people were injured due to russian aggression.

On 8 June, the enemy twice unsuccessfully attempted to approach the positions of Ukrainian defenders towards Kherson. Over the past day, enemy losses totaled 95 occupiers, 8 artillery systems, 14 vehicles and armored vehicles, 10 UAVs (Orlan, Zala, Supercam), 2 electronic warfare stations, 15 motorcycles, 2 boats, 5 communication antennas, 6 UAV control antennas, 1 communications antenna, 1 fuel and lubricants storage site. 64 shelters, 2 field ammunition storage buildups, and 4 observation posts were destroyed.

Kherson branch of the State Emergency Service reported that pyrotechnic units removed and destroyed 60,433 explosive items since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. A total area of 31,193 hectares was cleared of mines.

Latest news for today in the western regions of Ukraine

Volyn oblast

Lutsk has already begun to inspect a high-rise building that was damaged by the russian attack. On Monday, they began to seal the windows with temporary material to protect them from the rain. The residents of Lutsk from the house damaged during the russian attack were accommodated in a dormitory. The commission has already prepared a report on the visual inspection of the house to determine the technical condition of the damage. Over the weekend, people were allowed to take valuables from their apartments (money, documents). On 10 June, experts will arrive again to examine the condition of the building’s structures in more detail and decide whether it can be restored. They will also examine other houses that were damaged by the russian attack. Decisions on what work to perform there will be made after detailed inspections.

Zakarpattia oblast

Uzhhorod City Council reported that the III degree For Courage Order was awarded to Senior Soldier Mykola Suyazov, Machine Gunner of the Mechanized Platoon.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

As part of the prisoner exchange, servicemen from Ivano-Frankivsk oblast returned home. Among the released prisoners were Andrii Binyk from Kalush community and Anatolii Tymkiv from Ivano-Frankivsk community.

Lviv oblast

A meeting with the families of servicemen who went missing or are in captivity was held at Lviv RMA. Participants included wives, mothers, fathers and relatives of defenders, as well as representatives of various social services and law enforcement agencies.

Hlyniansk community allocated UAH 205,598 in subsidy for the needs of one brigade and UAH 200,000 for 2 others. In total, UAH 405,598 was allocated from the community budget.

The 1st training and testing complex in Europe for mine action, environmental safety, and civil protection has been put into operation in Lviv oblast. The creation of a training and testing complex in the oblast will significantly speed up demining and make it safer.

Rivne oblast

The oblast experienced one of the most powerful enemy air strikes overnight. One civilian was injured. Representatives of the Defense Forces and other services are working at the scene.

In the morning, the enemy attacked Rivne oblast again. The Air Defense was operating in the oblast. There were no casualties or damage.

Ternopil oblast

Ternopil community sent 30 FPV drones to the 14th Separate Mechanized Brigade thanks to Ternopil community’s Defense Capability program.

Ternopil defenders will receive a one-time cash payment for treatment and rehabilitation. In 2024, payments were provided to 295 soldiers.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

Khmelnytskyi community sent 250 10-inch FPV drones worth almost UAH 3.7m to the military.

Chernivtsi oblast

As part of the exchange of prisoners of war, 2 Bukovyna residents returned home. 22-year-old Ivan Ivanchenko from the village of Hrubna, Sokyrianska community, Dnistrovskyi region, and 25-year-old Dmytro Kizov from the village of Rzhavyntsi, Yurkovetska community, Chernivtsi region.

Canada has extended duty-free imports of Ukrainian goods for another year. The decision has been in effect since June 2022 and is extended annually. Thanks to this, Ukrainian exports to Canada have already exceeded CAD 35m, and Canadian importers have saved $8.5m in customs duties. Additional savings of $1.2m are expected. Total exports to Canada in 2024 amounted to $152m.
