As of now, 133 people remain living on the left bank of Kupiansk, and more than 1,000 on the right bank. Given the challenging security situation and difficult access to communications, we continue to take active evacuation measures.

Donetsk oblast

Frontline

Stepan Barna, Commander of the Barni unit of the 10th separate mountain assault brigade, reported that russian troops continue to attack Ukrainian positions towards Seversk. This section of the front is “ideologically important” for the russian authorities, as the occupation authorities have not had a single major success here in almost two and a half years of fighting.

The General Staff reported that the Defence Forces struck at the headquarters of the 8th Army of the russian Federation, which was located in Khartsyzsk, Donetsk oblast. This command post was used to coordinate assaults and shelling towards Kurakhove.

Serhii Okishev, Staff Sergeant of the 25th Sicheslav Brigade, said that the russian army increased the intensity of attacks south of Myrnohrad. The positions of the Ukrainian military are being stormed, in particular, by special forces of the russian army.

The General Staff reported that the number of russian attacks towards Vremivka has almost doubled. Yesterday, the occupiers stormed Ukrainian positions in this area of the frontline 21 times in the vicinity of Kostiantynopilske, Uspenivka, Yantarne, Kostiantynopil, Novosilka and Pryvilne, compared to 13 attacks the day before.

In the so-called “luhansk people’s republic”, traffic violators will now pay twice as many fines. Yes, officially, they have only increased by one and a half times. However, at the same time, the occupiers halved the discount for paying a fine within the first 30 days – from 50% to 25%. So, if in 2024 a person had to pay either rub 500 in the first month or rub 1,000 later for a conditional violation of rub 1,000, then from 2025 a similar violation will cost rub 1,500 – that is, rub 1,125 in the first month of payment (instead of RUB 500 as before). For example, speeding or driving on the wrong side of the road will now be punishable by up to rub 7,500, and drunk driving by up to rub 45,000.

Emergency services in Siverskodonetsk, in the absence of mobile phone and internet, can be called in two ways. During the day, when there is no curfew, you can use several payphones installed by russians in the city. At night, in addition to home wired communications, citizens use radio devices. They have found a frequency on the UHF band where ambulances and the russian police receive calls. They can also call a taxi. But for this, you also need to buy a portable radio transmitter.
