Yesterday the invaders used more than 62 UAVs near Nevske and Makiivka. According to the Regional Military Administration, 20 of them were launched towards Nevske and 42 towards Makiivka. The enemy attacked these villages using artillery. Makiivka was under attack from multiple launch rocket systems. Enemy attacks were contained near Makiivka, Nevske, Stelmakhivka and in Serebrianka forest. Heavy fighting continues in Bilohorivka.

Civilians remain in the two de-occupied villages of Krasnorichensk community. People receive food, construction materials, pensions and other assistance.

A manual was distributed to educational institutions of the so-called “lpr”, which teachers are supposed to use to influence the opinion of school students about the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by russia.  The lessons will explain to children the so-called “reasons” for the outbreak of the war and its objectives set by the kremlin. A separate section will be devoted to responsibility for discrediting the military formations of the russian federation.

And to make teachers more inclined to such work, the best propagandists of educational institutions in the occupied territories will be awarded annually at the state level. In autumn 2024, seven collaborators from Luhansk will be awarded. They work in schools in Luhansk, Sorokyne, Kadiivka, Antratsyt, Chmyrivka, Rodakove and Yasenivske. The money, according to the invaders, should improve teaching and educational activities.

On 2 August, at the girl’s request, her mother and brother were returned from the occupied Luhansk region. We are making every effort to help people who wish to leave the territory of the so-called “lpr”.

The invaders are constantly conducting mobilisation activities, so it is extremely difficult for men to leave. Also russians carefully check children who try to cross the state border from russia to other countries. The quality of drinking water in the temporarily occupied territories of Luhansk oblast is poor. The locals hardly count on ambulances in the territories captured by russia and in case of emergency, they look for transport themselves to get to the hospital.

Also russians use the industrial sites of enterprises in the so-called “lpr” to repair military equipment. One of them is the “plant 100” in Luhansk, where “cotton” has recently blossomed. Destroying the enemy’s logistics chains is a priority. Collaborators, who were in the occupation authorities, are increasingly being replaced by russians.

Roman Vlasenko spoke about the actions of the occupiers in Sievierodonetsk region and in the oblast as a whole and as of the morning on 6 August, russians in Luhansk oblast are destroying everything Ukrainian: a monument to the Holodomor victims was dismantled in Luhansk, and a memorial plaque to the city’s founder Petro Novikov was recently removed in Sievierodonetsk. Instead, a copy translated into russian was put up. More than 500 apartments and houses have been “nationalised” by the occupiers in Luhansk oblast.
