The enemy fired artillery from russian territory at populated areas, including Serhiivske and Lisivshchyna in Chernihiv oblast; Bezsalivka, Rohizne, Volfyne, Kuchervka, Seredyna Buda, Budky, Shalyhyne, Iskryskivshchyna, Khodyne, and Novasylivka in Sumy oblast.
Towards North Slobozhanske and Kursk, the enemy carried out 52 attacks on populated areas and the positions of our units, including two with multiple launch rocket systems and one air strike.
Towards South Slobozhanske, the enemy attacked three times in the areas of the settlements of Prylipka and Marine. One combat engagement is ongoing.
Towards Kupiansk, the enemy is trying to advance towards Kurylivka and Novoosynove. In total, three clashes have been recorded in this direction, three of which are currently ongoing.
Towards Lyman, Ukrainian soldiers repelled two attacks by the invaders, in the area of Zarichne and towards Drobysheve.
Towards Sloviansk, the russians made three attempts to advance on the positions of our troops towards Zakitne, Sviato-Pokrovske and in Dronivka. Two clashes are currently ongoing.
Towards Kramatorsk, the enemy did not carry out any offensive actions.
Towards Kostiantynivka, the invaders carried out three offensive actions near the settlements of Shcherbynivka and Pleshchiivka. One attack is still ongoing.
Towards Pokrovsk, russian occupiers have made 23 attempts to dislodge our soldiers from their positions in the areas of the settlements of Shakhove, Novyi Donbas, Pokrovsk, Svitle, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetsk, Novopavlivka, Ivanivka, Hannivka, and Rodynske. The defence forces are holding back the offensive and have already repelled 18 attacks.
Towards Oleksandrivka, the aggressor attacked once, in the area of Andriivka-Klevtsove.
Towards Huliaipole, Ukrainian defenders repelled 11 attacks by the occupiers in the area of Huliaipole, Nove Pole, Zelene, Sviatopetrivka, and towards Myrne. Four combat engagements are still ongoing.
Towards Orikhiv, the enemy attacked the positions of our defenders once in the Primorsky area.
Towards Kherson, the Defence Forces repelled one enemy attack.
No significant changes in the situation have been recorded in other directions.
Ukrainian troops are exhausting the enemy along the entire line of combat and in the rear.
The russians carried out their largest attack on Ukraine since the beginning of the year, waiting for the most severe frosts. They used 500 UAVs and about 65 missiles of various types. The main targets were residential buildings and energy facilities, thermal power plants and combined heat and power plants, when the night-time air temperature in the regions reached -22 degrees Celsius. According to city officials:
— 1,170 apartment buildings in Kyiv were left without heat after the russian attack;
— 820 buildings in Kharkiv were left without heat. To prevent the pipes from freezing, water began to be drained from the system;
— 50,000 residents of Odesa oblast were left without electricity after the shelling.
— 50 settlements in Vinnytsia oblast were left without electricity.
Russia attacked DTEK’s thermal power plants again. The attack caused significant damage to the equipment of the thermal power plants. This is the ninth massive attack on the company’s thermal power plants since October 2025. In total, since the start of the full-scale invasion, DTEK’s thermal power plants have been attacked by the enemy more than 220 times.
Recent war events in the east of Ukraine
Kharkiv oblast
Over the past day, 167 combat engagements were recorded.
In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna direction, the enemy attempted ten times to break through the defensive lines of our defenders, in the areas of the settlements of Vovchansk and Dvorichanske, as well as in the direction of Prylipka, Kutkivka, and Fyholivka.
In the Kupiansk direction, six enemy attacks took place yesterday. Our defenders repelled the enemy’s assault actions in the area of the settlement of Zahryzove and in the directions of Kurylivka, Petropavlivka, Pishchane, and Novoosynove.
An enemy Shahed-type UAV struck the fifth floor of a residential building in the Saltivskyi district of Kharkiv, causing a fire. Russian forces targeted an area of dense residential development, where there are no military facilities. As a result of the strike, apartments on floors 2 through 5 of the multi-story building caught fire.
At least seven civilians were injured: five women and two men. All are in moderate condition, having sustained blast injuries and acute stress reactions. An 85-year-old woman was hospitalized and is receiving the necessary medical care.
Units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (DSNS), law enforcement officers, and emergency medical teams are working at the scene. After the fire is extinguished, municipal services and volunteers will be engaged to seal damaged windows and preserve heat in the remaining apartments, as air temperatures drop to minus 20°C. Measures will also be taken to relocate residents who lost their homes as a result of the shelling.

For nearly five consecutive hours, Russian occupying forces attacked the Kharkiv region. The most intense phase of shelling lasted from 01:00 to 06:00. The enemy used UAVs, guided aerial bombs (KABs), ballistic missiles, and cluster munitions.
Energy infrastructure facilities in Kharkiv and settlements across the region were damaged. Hundreds of State Emergency Service of Ukraine (DSNS) rescuers and more than 100 units of specialized equipment are currently working to eliminate the consequences of the attack.
As a result of the strikes, approximately 60% of subscribers remain without electricity. Planned and emergency power outage schedules are in effect across the region.
Over the past day, Kharkiv city and 16 settlements of the Kharkiv region came under enemy fire. As a result of the shelling, one person was killed and five others were injured.
In the village of Novoosynove (Kurylivka community), an 85-year-old woman was killed, while a 61-year-old woman and a 58-year-old man were injured. In Kivsharivka settlement (Kupiansk community), a 67-year-old man was injured. In the city of Derhachi, a 22-year-old man and a 79-year-old woman were injured.
The enemy attacked Kharkiv using UAVs, targeting the Slobidskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, Osnovianskyi, Saltivskyi, and Kholodnohirskyi districts. Russia’s armed forces struck energy infrastructure facilities in both Kharkiv city and the region.
The enemy actively employed various types of weapons against the Kharkiv region:
▪️ 5 missiles (type being determined);
▪️ 5 guided aerial bombs (KABs);
▪️ 25 Geran-2 UAVs;
▪️ 3 Molniya UAVs;
▪️ 4 FPV drones;
▪️ 36 UAVs (type being determined).
Civilian infrastructure was damaged or destroyed, including:
▪️ Kharkiv city – a multi-apartment building, a private house, trade kiosks, a public transport stop, and two vehicles;
▪️ Bohodukhiv district – a private house and a vehicle (Zolochiv settlement), and a vehicle (Svitlychne village);
▪️ Kupiansk district – a kindergarten (Hrushivka village);
▪️ Izium district – a vehicle (Ridne village); four private houses and two outbuildings (Horokhovatka village);
▪️ Kharkiv district – a private house and a vehicle (Smorodske village); two private houses (Tsyrkuny village); two private houses (Podvirky village); four private houses and an outbuilding (Pisochyn settlement); three private houses (Derhachi city);
▪️ Lozova district – damaged power lines (Lozova city);
▪️ Chuhuiv district – a private house (Zarichne village).
The transit evacuation point in Lozova received 140 people over the past day. Since the start of operations, 17,972 people have been registered at the facility.
A total of 778 Points of Resilience are operating around the clock across the region, including 101 in Kharkiv city. If necessary, people can stay overnight, charge devices, and receive medical assistance at these locations. Additionally, 354 heating points have been prepared, and 33 mobile heating units have been deployed in residential neighborhoods to ensure quick access to essential services.
Donetsk oblast
Ten settlements in the Donetsk region came under Russian attack: one person killed and one injured
On February 2, police recorded 1,560 enemy strikes along the front line and against the residential sector of the region.
The following locations were hit by fire: the cities of Dobropillia, Druzhkivka, Kostiantynivka, Kramatorsk, Mykolaivka, and Sloviansk; the settlement of Bilenke; and the villages of Kindrativka, Mykhailivka, and Sofiivka.
As a result of the attacks, 26 civilian facilities were damaged, including 18 residential buildings.

In Mykolaivka, Russian forces struck with two FPV drones, one of which hit a civilian truck, resulting in one death and one injury. A multi-apartment building and two vehicles were also damaged.
In Dobropillia, the enemy dropped two KAB-250 bombs, destroying a multi-apartment building.
In Kramatorsk, the impact of two Molniya-2 UAVs damaged 10 private houses.
Drone attacks in Sloviansk damaged two private houses, a non-residential building, and a vehicle; in Druzhkivka, a private house and critical infrastructure were hit; in Bilenke, Mykhailivka, and Sofiivka, one private house was damaged in each settlement.
Under the threat of FPV drones, the police evacuated two families with children from Mykolaivka: a woman with an 8-year-old son and a 16-year-old daughter, and a single father with his 15-year-old daughter, along with their cat and pet bird. On leaving the frontline city, their vehicle was targeted by enemy drones. The police were on high alert and neutralized the threat using electronic warfare (EW) equipment. The “White Angel” crew safely transported the evacuees to Kramatorsk, from where, with the help of volunteers, they continued to stay with relatives in the Kyiv region.
Luhansk oblast
Of the 22 attacks carried out by Russian forces along the two eastern directions of the front, the majority targeted the Sloviansk direction — 12 assaults. The enemy attempted to advance ten times in the Lyman area. Combat actions affected 11 settlements. Villages in the Luhansk region also came under fire: the Russians used mortars seven times and UAVs and FPV drones six times.
In the occupied part of Luhansk, the authorities again announced plans to resume gold extraction. They plan to simulate prospecting in the Rovenky community, where the Bobrykivske deposit is located, although its main reserves were depleted back in the 19th century. Despite this, the occupation administration issued four licenses: two for mineral exploration and extraction and two for geological studies and the search for associated metals. Similar “projects” in the past have ended in losses for investors.
Investors from Russia are delaying miners’ salary payments at coal enterprises in the so-called “LPR”, which were supposed to be modernized after changes in ownership. In particular, salaries are not being paid even at the Bilorychenska mine, which was previously considered one of the most profitable. According to available information, workers last received wages in summer 2025.
What is happening now in the north of Ukraine
Kyiv oblast
According to Mykola Kalashnyk, head of the Regional Military Administration, on the night of 3 February, russian troops carried out a massive combined attack on the energy sector and infrastructure of Kyiv oblast. Three people were injured – one woman and two men. All of them received medical assistance. As a result of the attack in the Obukhiv district, nine objects were damaged, including five private residential buildings, three vehicles, and a training and rehabilitation centre. In one of the houses, a wall was partially destroyed, and the blast wave also damaged a utility building.

The Kyiv City Military Administration reported that six people were injured as a result of enemy shelling of Kyiv with drones and missiles. According to the prosecutor’s office, at least 11 high-rise buildings, warehouses, supermarket chains, petrol stations, a kindergarten and people’s cars were damaged.
Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klychko reported that more than 1,100 homes in the Darnytskyi and Dniprovskyi districts remain without heat after a massive enemy attack on the capital’s critical infrastructure. During the night, the infrastructure facility that provides heat to these houses was severely damaged. Experts are assessing the extent of the damage and the prospects for restoration.
Due to the enemy attack on the capital, emergency power cuts are in effect in the Darnytskyi and Dniprovskyi districts. The rest of the city continues to operate on a power supply schedule. DTEK reported that this is the ninth massive russian attack since October 2025, with thermal power plants under attack.
In the Darnytskyi district, a non-residential building was hit. At another address, falling debris caused a fire on the roof of a 26-storey residential building, destroying partitions and windows in an unoccupied apartment on the top floor. Storage facilities in the district also caught fire. The fires were extinguished.
In the Dniprovskyi district, debris from a UAV fell on several residential buildings. In a 5-storey building, a fragment of the outer wall and glazing were destroyed. At another address, the facade and glazing were damaged. In addition, UAV debris fell on the territory of a kindergarten, as well as on an open area.
In the Desnianskyi district, debris from an enemy UAV fell on an open area.
In the Pecherskyi district, debris from a UAV fell on a petrol station, damaging a building, four cars and power lines.
In the Shevchenkivskyi district, a UAV hit a 22-storey residential building on the 16th-17th floors. Rescuers extinguished a fire covering a total area of 90 m².

Minister of Culture Tetiana Berezhna reported that the Second World War Museum at the foot of the Motherland Monument was damaged as a result of night shelling. This is the second time the museum has been damaged by russian attacks. This time, significant damage to elements of the memorial space has been recorded. The museum continues to operate.
Additional heating points are being set up in schools in neighbourhoods of Kyiv whose buildings have been left without heating. There are five additional points operating in the Darnytskyi district, connected to mobile boiler rooms, and four in the Dniprovskyi district. People can stay there both during the day and at night. The State Emergency Service is also setting up 36 heating points in Darnytskyi and 27 in Dniprovskyi district (20 locations in each district).
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte is visiting Ukraine. In Kyiv, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, during which they focused on strengthening Ukraine’s air defence.
According to the Kyiv City State Administration, Kyiv received another 31 generators from the Warsaw City Council and community. The first batch of 59 power sources arrived in the Ukrainian capital last Friday. They were immediately used to power equipment in buildings where there were problems with restoring heat supply..
Zhytomyr oblast
According to the Regional Military Administration, approximately 70% of the facilities damaged by enemy shelling have been restored in Zhytomyr oblast. To date, 5,082 facilities damaged by russian armed aggression have been registered, 87% of which are residential buildings. The russian military caused damage in 31 of 66 territorial communities. The most damage was recorded in the Zhytomyr, Malyn, Narodychi, Korosten, and Ovruch communities.
The Regional Military Administration reported that as of 3 February, there are 58 points of resilience organised by various services and agencies operating in Zhytomyr oblast: 58 points of the State Emergency Service, 3 points of Ukrzaliznytsia, 5 points of the National Police and one point of the Patrol Police.
At the end of January 2026, a team from the Zhytomyrteplokomunenergo municipal enterprise worked in Kyiv to restore heat supply to the capital’s high-rise buildings, which had been cut off after shelling by the russian army. Within a week, the municipal workers restored heat supply to 10 buildings.
Sumy oblast
Konotop Mayor Artem Semenikhin reported that during the night of 3 February, russian forces struck Konotop. As a result of the attack, a school, a five-storey apartment building, private houses, and infrastructure facilities were damaged. One private house was completely destroyed, and three people were rescued from the rubble.
During the same night, the russian army carried out drone strikes on Sumy. According to Acting Mayor Artem Kobzar, the first strike hit the seventh floor of an apartment building, shattering up to ten windows and damaging the heating network. Another strike hit the fourth floor of a multi-storey residential building, damaging a balcony and windows and causing a fire. Five-year-old twins were inside one of the apartments; the children were not injured.

The Regional Military Administration informed that over the previous day, 2 January, four civilians were injured as a result of russian attacks in Sumy oblast. In Velyka Pysarivka community, a 51-year-old woman was wounded in an enemy UAV attack. In Verkhni Syrovatky community, three men aged 48, 55, and 56 were injured following a russian drone strike.
Over the course of the day, from the morning of 2 February to the morning of 3 February, russian forces carried out nearly 80 attacks on 39 settlements across 21 territorial communities of the oblast. The highest number of attacks was recorded in Sumy and Shostka regions. The enemy used mortars, artillery, MLRS, FPV drones, UAVs, guided aerial bombs, and carried out a missile strike. Over the day, air raid alerts in the oblast lasted for 22 hours and 5 minutes.
Civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged or destroyed:
- In Hlukhiv community, passenger vehicles were damaged;
- In Znob-Novhorodske community, a private residential house and a vehicle were destroyed, and outbuildings were damaged;
- In Shostka community, civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged;
- In Shalyhyne community, a private residential house was destroyed;
- In Esman community, private residential houses were destroyed;
- In Seredyna-Buda community, a private residential house was destroyed and civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged;
- In Lebedyn community, a private residential house was destroyed, while other private houses and non-residential premises were damaged;
- In Verkhni Syrovatky community, a truck was destroyed;
- In Sumy community, apartment buildings, private residential houses, and a private passenger vehicle were damaged;
- In Konotop community, an apartment building, private residential houses, civilian infrastructure facilities, non-residential premises, and a shop were damaged;
- In Nyzhni Syrovatky community, a private household was damaged;
- In Novoslobidske community, a private residential house was damaged.
Over the course of the day, local authorities jointly with units of the State Emergency Service, the National Police Department, and civil society organisations evacuated 15 people from border communities.
Chernihiv oblast
Viacheslav Chaus, Head of Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, said that over the past day, 2 February, the Defence Forces shot down 68 targets over Chernihiv oblast.
Pavlo Miroshnychenko, Head of Koriukivka Regional Military Administration, reported that at around 4pm on 3 February, russians attacked the town of Snovsk by a UAV. The premises of a music school were damaged. No information about casualties has been received.
According to Oleksandr Seliverstov, Head of the Regional Military Administration, at around 2pm on 3 February, a russian drone struck a private house in Karabany village, Novhorod-Siverskyi community. The house was damaged.
In Uhly village, Semenivka community, at around 10am, the enemy carried out an attack using a fibre-optic FPV drone. As a result of the strike, two civilian vehicles caught fire.
Oleksandr Seliverstov, Head of the RMA, informed that as a result of a russian attack on 3 February on an enterprise in Chaikyne village, Novhorod-Siverskyi community, the canning and sausage production facilities were damaged. Four FPV drone strikes were recorded. The enterprise had previously been attacked by the enemy between 1 and 3 February, when the boiler house and warehouse facilities were damaged.
According to Chernihiv Border Guard Detachment, over the course of 2 January, russian forces attacked four border communities in Chernihiv oblast: Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka, Horodnia, and Snovsk. A total of 34 strikes were recorded. The enemy carried out mortar shelling, launched Molniia-type UAVs, conducted FPV drone attacks, and dropped explosive devices from UAVs. The town of Semenivka and 18 villages came under fire.
Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine
Dnipropetrovsk oblast
During the night, the enemy carried out a massive combined attack on the oblast.
Dnipro. Explosions were reported in Dnipro city. Fires broke out. 4 buildings, a dormitory, vehicles, an enterprise and infrastructure facilities were damaged.
Nikopol region. The enemy continued attacking the region by drones and artillery, targeting the regional centre, Marhanets, Pokrovske and Chervonohryhorivka communities. 4 private houses, 3 outbuildings, a garage and infrastructure were damaged.
Synelnykove region. Synelnykove, Raivka community and Rozdory community were under attack. A fire occurred. Infrastructure facilities, an enterprise, a garage and 2 vehicles were damaged.
Nikopol region. The occupiers again attacked the regional centre, Marhanets, Myrove, Chervonohryhorivka and Pokrovske communities by drones and artillery. In Myrove community, a 58-year-old woman was injured and received the necessary medical assistance. 2 private houses, an apartment building, a kindergarten, 2 vehicles and infrastructure were damaged. A garage was destroyed.
Kryvyi Rih region. As a result of a UAV attack in Novopillia and Hrushivka communities, damage was recorded. A fire broke out; infrastructure and an administrative building were damaged.
Synelnykove region. The enemy struck Pokrovske community by KABs, damaging 9 private houses.
Pavlohrad region. Following a UAV strike in Troitske community, a 61-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman were injured. A private house and an outbuilding were damaged.
Vinnytsia oblast
According to Vinnytsia RMA, in Vinnytsia oblast, hits on critical infrastructure facilities were recorded. As a result of the attack, 50 settlements were left without power supply. Energy workers are already working to restore electricity. 3 buildings and an educational institution were damaged; no serious structural damage was recorded. There were no casualties reported.
Kirovohrad oblast
In 2 communities of Kirovohrad oblast, memorial ceremonies were held for servicemen who were killed in the russian-Ukrainian war. They are Kostiantyn Sukhomlyn from Pryiutivka community and Oleksii Nezhyvyi from Oleksandrivka community.
Kostiantyn Sukhomlyn was killed on 27 January 2026 while carrying out a combat mission in Chernihiv oblast.
Oleksii Nezhyvyi was killed on 28 January 2026 near Orly village, Synelnykove region, Dnipropetrovsk oblast, as a result of a drone strike.
Poltava oblast
2 servicemen from Poltava oblast were killed while performing combat missions in the war against the russian federation: Vitalii Moroz from Kolomatske community and Ruslan Kirianov from Kremenchuk.
Vitalii Moroz was killed on 28 January 2026 while carrying out a combat mission near Zalyvne settlement, Novomykolaivka community, Zaporizhzhia oblast.
Ruslan Kirianov was killed on 17 November 2024 while carrying out a combat mission near Chumatske settlement, Donetsk oblast.
In Poltava, memorial ceremonies will be held for servicemen Serhii Profatylov and Oleksii Pupchenko.
Oleksii Pupchenko died on 31 December 2025 from wounds sustained while performing a combat mission in Donetsk oblast.
Serhii Profatylov died on 29 January 2026 at the City Clinical Hospital No. 1 of Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Council.
Cherkasy oblast
Ihor Taburets, Head of Cherkasy RMA, reported that in the oblast, 2 russian missiles and 4 UAVs were destroyed. There were no hits recorded.
Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine
Zaporizhzhia oblast
Ivan Fedorov, Head of Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, reported that russian forces struck a residential neighborhood of Zaporizhzhia. Vehicles caught fire and windows were shattered in nearby buildings. An 18-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman were killed, while a 15-year-old girl is in extremely critical condition. 9 people were injured as a result of the shelling of Zaporizhzhia.

A 58-year-old man was killed as a result of a russian artillery strike on Preobrazhenka village, Polohy region. A private house was destroyed in the attack and a fire broke out.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that during the night, the Defence Forces of Ukraine carried out strikes on russian military facilities in the temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhzhia oblast. In particular, a training centre for FPV drone pilots was hit in Komysh-Zoria and a concentration of personnel was struck in Khliborobne.
According to Zaporizhzhia RMA, on 2 January, russian forces attacked the positions of Ukrainian troops 19 times in Huliaipole region. Combat engagements were recorded in the areas of Huliaipole and Dorozhnianka, toward Sviatopetrivka, Zaliznychne, Dobropillia and Zelene.
Ivan Fedorov, Head of the RMA, stated that on 2 January, the russian military carried out more than 785 strikes on the territory of Zaporizhzhia city and the oblast. In particular, 453 UAVs of various types (mostly FPV drones) attacked Zaporizhzhia, Novomykolaivka, Veselyi Hai, Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Stepove, Pavlivka, Mali Shcherbaky, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Bilohiria, Dorozhnianka, Varvarivka, Zelene, Solodke and Dobropillia. 1 person was killed and 3 injured as a result of russian attacks on Zaporizhzhia and its oblast.
The State Emergency Service reported that on 2 February, 1 person was killed and 3 injured due to fires that broke out in Zaporizhzhia oblast as a result of russian attacks. In total, 5 fires were recorded in the city and the oblast due to russian shelling.
Mykolaiv oblast
Referring to Mykolaiv RMA, on 2 February, the russian military carried out 9 FPV drone attacks on Ochakiv and Kutsurub communities. There were no casualties reported.
Odesa oblast
The Prosecutor’s Office reported that as a result of a russian attack on Odesa oblast, the facades and glazing of 3 buildings were damaged, as well as fences and 4 vehicles, one of which was destroyed by fire. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties reported.
The RMA reported that russian forces carried out a massive missile and drone attack on Odesa oblast. Strikes were recorded against energy and civilian infrastructure in the southern part of the oblast. As a result, more than 50,000 residents were temporarily left without electricity. 3 buildings, warehouse, administrative facilities and passenger vehicles, were damaged. There were no casualties or injuries reported. Critical infrastructure facilities are operating on generators.
Kherson oblast
According to Kherson RMA, at approximately 7pm, russian forces attacked Dniprovskyi district of Kherson by a UAV. The enemy dropped an explosive device from a drone on a 25-year-old man, causing blast injuries and shrapnel wounds to his legs.
At midday, a resident of Antonivka was injured as a result of russian shelling. An 87-year-old woman sustained blast injuries and a fracture of the radius bone.
A man sought medical assistance after being injured earlier in the morning due to russian shelling of central part of Kherson. The 41-year-old resident was diagnosed with blast injuries, concussion and a traumatic brain injury.
On 2 February, 9 people were injured as a result of russian aggression. Antonivka, Prydniprovske, Sadove, Bilozirka, Dniprovske, Kizomys, Ivanivka, Inhulets, Poniativka, Tokarivka, Beryslav, Borozenske, Piatykhatky, Novoraivsk, Chervonyi Maiak, Tiahynka, Odradokamianka, Osokorivka, Novooleksandrivka, Havrylivka, Zolota Balka, Mykhailivka, Dudchany, Kachkarivka, Vesele, Kozatske and Kherson were under enemy drone terror, air strikes and artillery shelling. The russian forces targeted critical and social infrastructure and residential areas, damaging 5 high-rise buildings and 2 private houses. Also, the occupiers damaged office premises, an administrative building, agricultural enterprise infrastructure, a shop and agricultural machinery.

Volyn oblast
The renovated pediatric surgical department of Volyn Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital, where the lives of the youngest Volyn residents have been saved for 40 years, has been opened. Now there are comfortable living conditions, modern equipment, and decent workplaces for medics and staff.
Zakarpattia oblast
In the 1st month of 2026, the oblast received five evacuation groups from frontline oblasts. 118 people found safe shelter in our region: 20 evacuated families from Zaporizhzhia oblast, 12 from Dnipropetrovsk oblast. Among them, 46 are children.
Ivano-Frankivsk oblast
Ivano-Frankivsk community sent 150 Mavic 3T drones and other necessary equipment to the 128th Separate Heavy Mechanized Brigade Wild Field.
Lviv oblast
The hairdressing department of Sokal Vocational Lyceum once again joined in supporting Ukrainian servicemen by visiting a military hospital in Lviv. The masters of industrial training, together with student hairdressers, provided professional hairdressing services to the wounded defenders.
Volunteers from Buska community once again went to the defenders. This time they brought a generator, power banks, drones, Starlink, wheels, awnings, camouflage nets, powders, films, gas canisters, warm blankets and first aid kits, a lot of thermal insulation, bars for dugouts, a helmet, electric kettles and dishes and lots of homemade goodies.
Rivne oblast
18 healthcare institutions in Rivne oblast are already participating in the Health Screening 40+ program. 6 of them are private. 7 applications are currently under consideration by the Ministry of Health. Another 26 institutions in the oblast plan to join this state initiative. Let me remind you that the Health Screening 40+ National Program started on 1 January. Its goal is to detect diseases at an early stage.
Ternopil oblast
Servicemen from Ternopil receive one-time financial assistance to purchase necessary equipment. In 2025, such funds were provided to 3,243 soldiers.
Khmelnytskyi oblast
Khmelnytskyi City Council allocated financial assistance to 73 family members of the deceased. The total amount of assistance is over UAH 1.8m.
Chernivtsi oblast
The RMA reported that last year, Tereblechansky community allocated UAH 3.7m to the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine.

Mark Rutte, NATO Secretary General, arrived in Kyiv on a visit, where he met with Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President and spoke in the Parliament.
The Tawerna La Capitana Krakow restaurant, run by Bartolomej Szczesci, initiated the Warm Soup for Kyiv charity campaign. Poles came to Kyiv to prepare a thousand liters of hot soup. The aim of this initiative is to help residents of the capital who are facing frosts and interruptions in heating and electricity supply.
