Towards Toretsk, the situation is tense. The invaders attacked 24 times near Dyliivka, Toretsk, Pivdenne, Niu-York and Pivnichne. 15 engagements ended. Fighting continues in nine other locations.

Towards Pokrovsk, the enemy is attacking Ukrainian defenders intensively.  Over the day, the aggressor stepped up its efforts here, conducting a total of 43 assault and offensive operations. The russian invaders are most active near Ocheretyne, from where the enemy is trying to break into our combat formations in various directions. Ukrainian defenders have already repelled 31 attacks, and 12 more firefights are ongoing, including near Yevhenivka and Novooleksandrivka. The invaders are losing a lot of manpower in the sector as our troops have killed and injured over 350 enemy servicemen. At least 11 cannons and mortars were destroyed and damaged. The Armed Forces of Ukraine have been allowed to use about 40 engineering weapons. Among the codified samples of Ukrainian design and production are metal detectors, measuring devices for various purposes, smoke bombs, remote smoke detectors, collapsible fortifications, and field “power banks” of large capacity and reliability.

As a result of the enemy shelling of Kharkiv on 30 June, 7 people were hospitalised: 6 adults and 1 child. A 58-year-old man is in critical condition, but stable. He received an explosive wound with damage to his head, torso and left upper limb. Another 5 adults are in moderate condition. A 16-year-old boy is in a stable condition, the dynamics are positive. The 8-month-old baby was discharged for outpatient treatment.

Dmytro Chubenko, Spokesman of Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, said that the purpose of russian attacks on civilian infrastructure, as was the case on 30 June when they hit the Nova Poshta terminal, is to intimidate and terrorise residents. After the repeated offensive in the north of Kharkiv oblast, the russians began to hit Kharkiv and the oblast with aerial bombs more often, constantly changing the launch sites.

Since the beginning of the russian offensive towards Kharkiv on 10 May, the trend of shelling has been almost the same. About 30 bombs are dropped near Vovchansk and Lyptsi every day. These are strikes on Vovchansk and Lyptsi. There are almost no civilians there anymore. There are small arms battles, artillery battles, and several launches of aerial munitions every hour.

Meanwhile, the humanitarian situation in the occupied territories has reached a critical point. For instance, in Lysychansk, where the locals have been surviving on russian aid for three years, the distribution of humanitarian aid has been restricted. Food parcels are only given to people aged 70+, large families and some other privileged categories, and only with a russian passport.

In Sievierodonetsk, residents are forced to earn money by donating blood: they pay rub 792 for one “voluntary blood donation”. Social media posts say that this is perhaps the only guaranteed way to get money.

A food crisis is looming in Kreminna. Due to the heavy fighting around the city and the prolonged absence of electricity, there is almost no food being brought in, and the food that is on the shelves is of questionable quality, as the refrigerators are not working. There are many products that have expired. The situation is not much better in Sievierodonetsk, Lysychansk and Rubizhne, which are also used to “dispose of” expired food, as people have neither money nor choice.

In the mining region of Lutuhyne, there were announcements of recruitment to russian coal enterprises, with a deferral from mobilisation. People are outraged because all the locals were forcibly sent to war, while the miners in russia were given reservations.

In settlements where the situation is more or less stable, collaborators are actively “nationalising” premises that “show signs of ownerlessness”. For instance, the “administration of Starobilsk municipal region” published a list of 38 non-residential buildings that fall into this category: a dental clinic, a clinical laboratory, a well-known coffee shop, and 50 more residential premises.

Since the beginning of the full-scale aggression of the russian federation, the State Environmental Inspectorate in Luhansk oblast has calculated the damage caused to the main waterway of the region, the Siverskyi Donets River, at UAH 1.9bn. The aggressor has destroyed bridge crossings over the Siverskyi Donets River, and parts of them have fallen into its bed. In total, 15,450 tonnes of debris from bridges and other crossings got into the water bodies of Luhansk oblast. According to the Inspectorate’s calculations, the damage caused to the water bodies of Luhansk oblast since the beginning of russia’s full-scale invasion has amounted to about UAH 4.2bn.
