On May 18, 7 civilians were killed, including a female teenager, 7 wounded by russian artillery shelling on Lyman community, Donetsk oblast. In total, 10 civilians were killed, 7 injured in Donetsk oblast.

On May 17, 5 civilians were killed, including a 2-year-old kid, 4 wounded by the russian air strikes on Bakhmut, Donetsk oblast. The apartment building was badly damaged.

On May 18, 1 civilian was killed, 5 wounded following the russian shelling of 2 villages in Kherson oblast.

On May 17, heavy russian shelling killed 4 civilians, wounded 3 in Severodonetsk, Luhansk oblast. 3 people were killed in the other Ukrainian-controlled territories of the region. At least eight houses were damaged.
