Luhansk oblast

Yesterday, Russian forces shelled the positions of Ukrainian troops in Luhansk Oblast four times using mortars. They also fired automatic grenade launchers and launched seven UAVs toward our defenders. In the Lyman and Sloviansk sectors of the frontline, the invaders attempted to advance seven times. As a result of the attacks, five settlements came under fire.

Due to the critical condition of the power grid in Dovzhansk, a decision was made to cut electricity supply to certain districts of the city for an indefinite period. This was done not because repairs are specifically needed in those neighborhoods, but because the local occupying authorities deemed these areas “unimportant” for vital activity. As a result, tens of thousands of people have been rendered “unimportant” due to years of Russian neglect of municipal infrastructure. No timelines for restoration have been announced, and the occupiers are even avoiding optimistic promises.

The situation is no better in Novodruzhesk, where residents have been living for nearly four years without electricity, water supply, or centralized heating. People keep warm where stove heating is available and must purchase coal at their own expense, as the Russian authorities have canceled compensation for solid fuel purchases in the city even for those eligible for benefits.
