In Alchevsk, captured since 2014, a significant part of which has been without heating for several days, the power supply also disappeared. The reason is not in the fighting, but in the inaction of the local occupiers and in the lack of attention to the problems of the communal sphere on the part of the russian federation. The accident on the power grid occurred due to excessive load on the system caused by the lack of centralized heating. The boiler rooms, in turn, are not working due to the failure of outdated equipment. It should be noted that the Russians reported on the city’s 100 percent readiness for the heating season back in October.

With the change of garbage removal service provider in Starobilsk, only the tariffs changed – they were increased in 2026. However, the number of natural landfills in the city has not decreased. Garbage, as before, is removed selectively.
