In Dronivka, battles continue, and the village remains under the control of the 81st Brigade. In Platonivka and Zakitne, the situation is also complicated due to intense shelling from the direction of occupied Siversk. There is also a constant threat of the enemy ferrying infantry across the Siverskyi Donets River. The opponent’s goal is to reach the rear of the 81st Brigade units and achieve an operational encirclement of the main forces and assets.

Military expert Serhii Bratchuk says that the “grey” zone in Myrnohrad, which can be seen on the DeepState map, speaks to the dynamic nature of the current situation. “Logistics are extremely difficult for our forces located in Myrnohrad. Certain tasks are being managed. russian troops still cannot advance as they would like or fully control Myrnohrad. Therefore, the ‘grey’ zone is precisely about the fact that battles are occurring, including small arms engagements. This means there is constant contact between our units and the russian ones.”

There were 1,266 enemy strikes along the front line and the residential sector. 5 settlements were under fire: the cities of Druzhkivka and Sloviansk, and the villages of Donetske, Zavydo-Kudashevo, and Shchurove. 38 civilian objects sustained destruction, including 35 residential buildings.

Urgent and planned surgeries are performed here, sometimes under shelling. Currently, there are no plans to stop work or evacuate.

Luhansk oblast

Towards Lyman, the russians launched more than 30 assault attempts. In Luhansk oblast, they tried to advance from Novovodiane. Battles also took place in the vicinity of Hrekivka and Novoiehorivka, where Ukrainian Defenders are holding the line. The occupiers carried out eight mortar shelling and directed 20 drones at the fortifications of the Defense Forces.

From January 1, the so-called “lpr” has once again promised to organize regular garbage collection from residential quarters. Throughout the years of occupation, the population has constantly complained about the accumulation of household waste near houses, which communal workers do not remove for weeks, and sometimes months. Starting from the new year, a “unified regional operator for solid municipal waste management” will take over the coordination of this work. Its main task, according to the invaders, is to establish regular and uninterrupted garbage collection. At the same time, no additional specialized equipment is planned for the cities and regions of occupied Luhansk oblast. The amount of garbage removed will increase exclusively “on paper.”

In Starobilsk, another list of addresses has been announced for the so-called “nationalization” of housing. These are six houses located on one street. According to the local occupiers, the real estate has signs of being ownerless. The owners of the housing were given 30 days to cancel the “seizure” process.
