The Russian drone “Kniaz Vishchyi Oleh”, recently destroyed by Ukrainian pilots in the Lyman direction, was performing reconnaissance missions, recording Ukrainian troop positions and rest areas, and transmitting data for precision strikes. The drone’s distinctive feature is its high-quality optical imaging and detailed terrain mapping, said “Nimets”, a representative of the anti-aircraft missile-artillery battalion of the 63rd Separate Mechanized Brigade.

Over the past month, this unit set a record, destroying over 110 Russian drones in the skies over the Lyman sector.

The plaque was installed in 2018 on the district council building in central Pokrovsk — the first and only memorial in Donetsk region honoring a participant in the Ukrainian Liberation Struggles of the early 20th century. On November 4, the plaque depicting the Ukrainian soldier who fought a century ago was handed over to the Pokrovsk History Museum, now relocated to Dnipro.

The “White Angels” evacuated a family with two teenagers (11 and 17 years old) from the frontline village of Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka.
