The Ukrainian Defense Forces are holding back the russian occupiers’ advance. Terrorists continue to kill Ukrainians and destroy Ukrainian cities and villages.

On 10 September, there were 82 combat engagements.

The communities of Zaliznyi Most and Mykolaivka in Chernihiv oblast suffered from enemy artillery and mortar fire. Krasnyi Khutir was hit by an airstrike.

Towards Northern Sloboda and Kursk, Ukrainian soldiers repelled five enemy attacks, four combat engagements are still ongoing. The invaders’ aviation carried out eight strikes, dropping eighteen guided aerial bombs. In addition, the enemy has carried out 118 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements, including nine from multiple launch rocket systems.

Towards Southern Sloboda, the enemy carried out six attacks in the vicinity of Vovchansk, Ambarne and Odradne.

Towards Kupiansk, the Defense Forces repelled two enemy attacks in the vicinity of Myrne and Borivska Andriivka, one engagement is ongoing.

Towards Lyman, the invading army carried out eight attacks on Ukrainian positions in the vicinity of the settlements of Hrekivka, Seredne, Kolodiazi and Shandryholove, one engagement is still ongoing.

Towards Siversk, russian units tried six times to advance on the positions of Ukrainian troops in the vicinity of Serebrianka, Hryhorivka and Vyimka. One engagement is still ongoing.

Towards Kramatorsk, the enemy carried out three offensive actions in the vicinity of ​​Maiske, Stupochky and Predtechyne; two engagements are still ongoing.

Towards Toretsk, the enemy tried seven times to penetrate Ukrainina defenses in the vicinity of Shcherbynivka, Pleshchiivka, Rusyn Yar and Poltavka. One engagement is still ongoing.

Towards Pokrovsk, russian occupiers made 26 attempts to push Ukrainian soldiers from the occupied positions in the vicinity of the settlements of Volodymyrivka, Vilne, Zolotyi Kolodiaz, Nykanorivka, Rodynske, Novoekonomichne, Myroliubivka, Zvirove, Udachne, Dachne, and Novoukrainka. The defense forces are holding back the onslaught and repelled 22 attacks.

Towards Novopavlivka, Ukrainian defenders stopped 11 assault actions, and four more clashes are still ongoing. The enemy is trying to advance in the areas of the settlements of Filiia, Oleksandrohrad, Maliivka, Olhivske, Novoivanivka and Ivanivka.

Towards Huliaipole, the enemy once attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders in the vicinity of ​​Belohiria. Zaliznychne was hit by unguided missiles.

Towards Orikhiv, the enemy carried out offensive actions near Plavni and was repulsed.

Towards Kherson, Ukrainian units repelled two enemy attacks in the vicinity of Antonivka and Sadove.


Four fighters who had been hiding for 3 years were extracted from the occupied territory. The Ukrainian marine was seriously injured, ended up in the hospital and, thanks to caring doctors, was hidden from russian security forces. Later, it turned out that three more National Guardsmen were in the hospital with him, who had been forced to hide for more than three years. As a result, the special intelligence unit of the Navy “Yanholy” evacuated them and one of the hospital’s medical workers.

Using OSINT methods, 2,577 servicemen were confirmed to be in russian captivity. The OSCE delegation visited for the fifth time to monitor compliance with the rights of Ukrainian prisoners. One of the key areas of work is to ensure the proper functioning of the Unified Register of Persons Missing in Special Circumstances, with the common goal of returning every citizen home, given that prisoners of war retain the status of missing persons until their return.

Kharkiv oblast

Frontline

Towards Southern Sloboda, russian forces carried out six attacks in the areas of Vovchansk, Ambarne, and Odradne.

Towards Kupiansk, the Defense Forces repelled two russian army attacks in the areas of Myrne and Andriivka (Boryvska). According to the General Staff, one clash is still ongoing.

There were 200 combat engagements in the oblast. Towards Southern Sloboda, eight clashes took place near Vovchansk.

Towards Kupiansk, there were seven attacks. The Defense Forces repelled enemy assault actions near Stepova Novoselivka, Kupiansk, Petropavlivka, and Pishchane.

Shelling

At 15:45, four russian GABs hit a field on the outskirts of the village of Chornohlazivka, reported the head of the community, Viktor Kovalenko. No casualties or destruction were recorded as a result of the strikes.

In Kindrashivka community, five people were injured following enemy shelling around 08:00 in the village of Blahodatne. Preliminary reports say Russian forces attacked a civilian vehicle with a UAV. The injured, suffering from burns, were taken to hospital.

A civilian car in Blahodatne was attacked by a Russian FPV drone, according to the Kharkiv regional police press service. It was reported that a 57-year-old man, a 67-year-old man, and women aged 55, 63, and 64 sustained injuries. All were hospitalized.

12 settlements in Kharkiv oblast came under enemy strikes. Four people were injured as a result of the shelling.

In Kupiansk, a 48-year-old man was injured; in Solonytsivka, a 43-year-old woman was injured; in Vilkhuvatka (Novovodolazka community), a 52-year-old woman and a 65-year-old woman sustained injuries.

The enemy actively used various types of weapons against Kharkiv region:
▪️ 4 guided aerial bombs (KABs);
▪️ 4 Shahed-136/Geran-2 UAVs;
▪️ 2 FPV drones;
▪️ 1 UAV (type to be determined).

Civilian infrastructure was damaged and destroyed:
▪️ in Kharkiv region — 17 private houses damaged (Cherkaska Lozova), a summer house damaged (Vilkhuvatka), railway infrastructure damaged (Zaluzhne), grass fires over 2,000 sq.m. (Prudyanka);
▪️ in Kupiansk district — a private house damaged (Nechvolodivka), grass fire over 100 sq.m. (Spodobivka), forest litter fire (Novomykolaivka);
▪️ in Izium district — 2 private houses damaged (Shyikivka);
▪️ in Chuhuiv district — 3 houses and a kindergarten damaged (Donets);
▪️ in Bohodukhiv district — meadows burned (Melnykove).

In Kharkiv, three more residential buildings were added to the demolition list due to damage from shelling, according to the city council press service. The degree of destruction of these buildings exceeds 81%.

A 6-year-old girl injured in Kupiansk on September 7 is in the neurosurgery department after surgery, reported the head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov. According to him, she is in a serious but stable condition.

The transit evacuation point in Lozova received 102 people over the past day, with 31 remaining. Since the start of its work, 2,032 people have been registered there.

In three weeks, the transit point in Lozova, Kharkiv region, has received over 2,000 people from Donetsk region, one tenth of them children. Since its opening on August 19, the flow of evacuees has not decreased, said the coordinator of the transit center, Serhii Musiienko.

Donetsk oblast

Frontline

The russian army has increased the number of assaults towards Siversk and Lyman, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In total, 154 battles took place in Donetsk region on September 9.

Towards Siversk, russian forces attacked Defense Forces positions 21 times in the areas of Serebrianka and Hryhorivka, as well as towards Yampil, Dronivka, Vyiimka, and Pazene.

Towards Lyman, russian occupiers carried out 16 attacks, attempting to advance near Novomykhailivka, Karpivka, Serednie, Shandryholove, Kolodiazi, Zarichne, and Torske.

Shelling

On the morning of September 10, the Russian army struck Sloviansk with “Molniya-2” drones, damaging residential buildings, reported Vadym Liakh, head of the Sloviansk City Military Administration.

According to him, on the evening of September 9, Russian occupiers shelled the city with a “Smerch” multiple launch rocket system (MLRS), damaging at least 15 residential houses. No civilian casualties were reported.

As a result of shelling in Novodonetske, Donetsk region, on September 10, three people were injured and one person was killed, clarified Yurii Liulka, head of the Novodonetske Military Administration.

An airstrike and an attack by a strike drone on the city of Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region, on September 10 damaged private houses, the façade of an apartment building, and the façade of a local shop, reported Serhii Horbunov, head of the City Military Administration.

As a result of shelling in Kramatorsk, Donetsk region, on September 10, six people were injured, including two young men, reported Oleksandr Honcharenko, head of the City Military Administration.

As of 18:33, there had been 14 UAV strikes recorded today. The latest strike occurred at 18:28. The impact sites were residential areas in the city center and the old part of the city.

During the night of September 9, Russian forces attacked Sloviansk with drones and a “Smerch” multiple launch rocket system (MLRS). Private houses were damaged, and two outbuildings were burned. No casualties were reported, according to Donetsk police.

Over the course of September 9, police recorded 2,313 enemy strikes along the frontline and in residential areas.

Fourteen settlements came under fire: Dobropillia, Druzhkivka, Kostiantynivka, Kramatorsk, Lyman, Sloviansk, and the villages of Sviatohorivka, Yarova, Varvarivka, Krynytsi, Rayske, Semenivka, Shchurove, and Yatskivka.

Sixty-one civilian facilities were damaged, including 38 residential houses.

  • In Yarova, two KAB-250 bombs killed 25 civilians (16 women and 9 men) and injured 18 (13 women and 5 men). Damage included a postal vehicle, a private house, and an outbuilding.
  • In Kostiantynivka, two people were killed and two injured after strikes with a KAB-500 bomb, drones, and artillery. Five apartment buildings, nine private houses, a parking lot, and two civilian vehicles were damaged.
  • In Semenivka, one person was killed by an FPV drone strike.
  • Kramatorsk was attacked by 16 “Geran-2” and “Geran-3” UAVs, damaging four apartment buildings, two educational institutions, two cafés, two shop buildings, an administrative building, a non-residential premises, an infrastructure facility, and two vehicles.
  • In Sloviansk, russian forces used drones and “Smerch” MLRS, damaging 17 private houses.
  • In Druzhkivka, three drones damaged an educational facility and an administrative building.
  • In Raiske (Druzhkivka community), a private house and a civilian vehicle were damaged.
  • In Krynytsi (Novodonetska community), a “Geran-2” drone damaged a livestock facility.
  • In Varvarivka (Andriivka community), a private house was damaged.

Other Updates

Five people who were injured during the Russian shelling of Yarova on September 9 have been taken to hospitals in Dnipropetrovsk oblast. Earlier reports mentioned 11 injured. According to doctors, all patients are in serious condition, suffering from shrapnel wounds, brain contusions, and fragments in various parts of the body.

From now on, residents of frontline settlements in Donetsk oblast will be transported to more distant cities to receive pensions, social benefits, humanitarian, and medical assistance, said Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration. This decision was made following the Russian shelling of Yarova on September 9, which killed 25 people and injured 18.

Additionally, 16 people were evacuated from the city of Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region, reported Yevhen Tkachov, head of the humanitarian mission “Proliska.”

Russian occupation authorities in the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk region plan to introduce criminal liability for “media” outlets reporting on the lack of water supply, according to activists from the “Yellow Ribbon” movement.

Luhansk oblast

Frontline and Occupation Updates

Russian forces carried out 37 attacks over the past day on the Lyman and Siversk axes. According to the Regional Military Administration, 21 of these were on the Siversk front, exceeding the number of attacks over the previous two days. The enemy continues to actively use artillery and drones. Yesterday, 36 UAVs and FPV drones were launched at settlements and Ukrainian positions, and artillery fire was recorded 10 times.

Meanwhile, in the so-called “LPR” territories, heating tariffs have increased by an average of 24%, specifically the cost per gigacalorie of thermal energy. However, for residents of each building, the price will be calculated individually, depending on the year of construction and the number of floors. Residents of buildings built before 1999—which constitute the majority—will feel the greatest increase, with tariffs 2–5 times higher than for residents of newer buildings.

In Siversk Luhansk, the situation is even more severe. Local authorities report intensified preparations for the autumn-winter period, yet dozens of apartment buildings in the city still lack windows. Buildings damaged by Russian forces in spring and summer 2022 are entering their fourth winter under occupation without proper repairs.

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

Mykola Kalashnyk, Head of Kyiv Regional Military Administration, reported that during a combined russian attack in the Vyshhorod district, the roof of a private house and a car were damaged. Air defense forces were active in oblast overnight. Drone interceptors from the “Clear Sky” system destroyed nearly a hundred enemy targets.

Kyiv Regional Military Administration announced that the Regional Training Center will conduct national resistance courses for residents of three districts of oblast. The center will offer training in 16 areas of national resistance, including: pre-medical aid in combat conditions, information security and countering the enemy, topography and navigation, engineering and mine safety, survival in wartime, communications and data transmission, firearms training, tactical preparation, military technologies, and unmanned systems.

In Kyiv oblast, the National Police opened a new canine training center – one of the most modern in Europe. The complex was built with the support of the Howard Buffett Foundation. The previous facility in Irpin was destroyed by russian shelling. The new center is fully equipped for the housing and training of service dogs. Special attention has been given to inclusivity, as the center will also host canistherapy sessions for wounded servicemen, police officers, and rescuers.

The results of an international study on education processes in 14 countries will be presented at the fifth Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen, which will take place in Kyiv on September 11–12. This year’s theme is “Education That Shapes the World.” The summit will focus on accessibility, quality, and technology in education.

Zhytomyr oblast

During a combined air attack, the enemy struck the territory of Zhytomyr oblast using kamikaze drones and cruise missiles. As a result of the strikes, one person was killed and at least five injured. Fires broke out in several locations at once. Several civilian enterprises and private homes were damaged. According to Vitalii Bunechko, head of the Regional Military Administration, the aftermath is still being dealt with.

In Zhytomyr, residential buildings in the private sector were damaged. A local resident was injured – rescuers carried him to an ambulance with burns of varying degrees. The victim died in hospital. Psychologists from the State Emergency Service provided assistance to 26 people, including three children. Volunteers from the Ukrainian Red Cross Rapid Response Team set up a first aid station for the victims.

A fire broke out in industrial buildings in Berdychiv, causing damage to a car and a farm building. One person was injured. According to the Berdychiv City Council, more than 40 households in the community have reported damage to property following the russian attack.

Six people who were injured as a result of a combined attack by russian troops in Zhytomyr oblast were taken to local hospitals. One of the injured, who suffered burns to 80% of his body, died in the emergency room of the O.F. Gerbachevsky Regional Clinical Hospital. This was reported by Viktor Grynov, medical director of the Zhytomyr Regional Council’s Centre for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine. According to him, six emergency medical teams were dispatched to the sites of the shelling. A 56-year-old man, a 54-year-old woman and two other patients aged 45 were among hospitalised ones.

With the support of international partners, the Berdychiv City Hospital is preparing to renovate its rehabilitation department worth almost UAH 20 million. In addition, in cooperation with the Estonian Centre for International Cooperation ESTDEV and with financial support from Ireland, a major renovation of the intensive care unit has begun.

Sumy oblast

On the morning of 10 September the General Staff reported that towards Northern Sloboda and Kursk, nine combat engagements were recorded over the past day. Enemy forces carried out 12 airstrikes, dropped 24 guided aerial bombs, and launched 222 artillery attacks, including four by multiple launch rocket systems.

The Regional Military Administration informed that during the day, from the morning of 9 September to the morning of 10 September, russian forces conducted 63 attacks on 37 settlements in 14 territorial communities of the oblast. The highest number of strikes was recorded in Sumy and Shostka region. The enemy actively used guided aerial bombs (10 strikes), UAVs (up to 10 strikes), as well as FPV-drones, UAV-dropped grenades, missile strikes, and artillery shelling.

Consequences of russian attacks on Sumy oblast as of the morning of 10 September:

  • In Myropillia community, one private house was destroyed and another damaged;
  • In Mykolaivka rural community, two private households were damaged;
  • In Bilopillia community, two private houses and one car were damaged;
  • In Seredyna-Buda community, three private households were damaged;
  • In Sumy community, non-residential premises of a civilian infrastructure facility were damaged;
  • In Esman community, a civilian infrastructure facility was damaged;
  • In Verkhnia Syrovatka community, a civilian infrastructure facility was damaged.

Over the day, 12 people were evacuated from border communities by local authorities together with the State Emergency Service, National Police, and civil society organisations.

According to the Regional Military Administration, civilian training for national resistance continues in Sumy oblast. Courses teach participants how to provide first aid, navigate mine safety, operate UAVs, and acquire basic shooting skills. Recently, another group of 24 residents from Romny region completed training. Since the beginning of the year, more than 400 people have undergone this preparation.

Chernihiv oblast

Oleksandr Seliverstov, Head of Novhorod-Siverskyi Regional Military Administration said that by midday on 10 September, the russian army carried out seven targeted strikes with attack drones on the city of Semenivka. Private houses, critical infrastructure facilities, the city council and administrative buildings came under enemy attack.

Viacheslav Chaus, Head of the RMA, reported that over the past day, from the morning of 9 September to the morning of 10 September, russians shelled Chernihiv oblast 51 times, with a total of 85 explosions recorded. Enemy shelling damaged an administrative building and an industrial facility in Semenivka community. A house caught fire in Novhorod-Siverskyi community. Falling UAV debris ignited dry grass and vegetation across three communities.

During the day on 9 September, russian forces attacked three border communities of Chernihiv oblast: Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka, and Snovsk. The enemy carried out mortar shelling (12 explosions) and artillery shelling (2 explosions), launched strikes by Lancet UAVs (3 explosions), other unidentified drones (3 explosions), FPV-drones (14 explosions), and dropped explosive devices from UAVs (16 explosions). According to Chernihiv Border Detachment, UAV strikes in Semenivka city damaged the building of Semenivka electricity distribution company branch and facilities at an industrial enterprise.

Novhorod-Siverskyi municipal community announced that the humanitarian mission Proliska has resumed operations in Chernihiv oblast. Residents of remote settlements without regular transport connections will be able to reach Novhorod-Siverskyi using social transport.

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

Air defense forces were active in the region, shooting down eight enemy UAVs.

In the evening, occupiers launched a kamikaze drone at Nikopol district, targeting Myrivska community. FPV drones also attacked Synelnykivskyi district, targeting Mezhivska community. The strikes caused a fire and damaged a cultural facility.

The enemy once again attacked two districts in the region. Over three dozen attacks took place during the day on Nikopol district using drones and artillery, targeting the district center, Myrivska, Marhanetska, Pokrovska, and Chervonohryhorivska communities. A 28-year-old woman was injured in Nikopol and received medical assistance. Damages included six private houses, five outbuildings, a café, a greenhouse, equipment, infrastructure, a gas pipeline, a vehicle, and a power line.

Synelnykivskyi district was also targeted, specifically Mezhivska community, with drone strikes. Fires broke out, and two private houses, a non-operational building, and solar panels were damaged.

Vinnytsia oblast

In Vinnytsia region, one person was injured as a result of an enemy attack. Additionally, around 30 residential buildings were damaged, including broken windows, damaged roofs, and affected yards. Educational institutions were also hit: Vocational School No. 11, Primary School No. 13, and Kindergarten No. 3. Commissions are currently on site to assess and document the extent of damage for subsequent restoration. In total, 26 UAVs and 11 cruise missiles were recorded in Vinnytsia’s airspace.

It has also been reported that fifteen defenders from Vinnytsia region were killed. The fallen include Volodymyr Lishchenko, Ruslan Kopychenskyi, Hryhorii Honcharuk, Vitalii Maksymchuk, Serhii Mazur, Yurii Zhukov, Yurii Bodnarchuk, Andrii Hrabovskyi, Kostyantyn Mazur, Valerii Zhuravli, Mykhailo Oynas, Dmytro Kryvodubskyi, Volodymyr Dudnikov, Serhii Levashov, and Oleksandr Bondaruk.

Kirovohrad oblast

At night, air defense forces intercepted Russian “Shahed” drones. There were no consequences for communities in the region, reported Andrii Raikovych, head of the Regional Military Administration.

In Kirovohrad region, explosive ordnance specialists neutralized the warhead of a Russian drone. Its fragments were found in one of the districts. The drone’s warhead was equipped with a fuse that did not detonate. It was safely destroyed using a controlled explosion at a distance safe for populated areas, reported the regional police spokesperson, Tetiana Riaboshapka.

Poltava oblast

Soldiers Dmytro Mykhailenko from Lubenska community and Vladyslav Palahuta from Kremenchuk were killed in action. Dmytro Mykhailenko went missing on November 11, 2024, during a combat mission in Donetsk region; an examination confirmed he died that day. Vladyslav Palahuta was killed on September 3, 2025, during a combat mission.

In Kremenchuk, Lyceum No. 4 “Kremin” is being restored after being damaged by a Russian drone attack on July 6. The school sustained damage to over 100 windows, dozens of doors, and the stadium. Main restoration work is expected to be completed by the end of September.

Cherkasy oblast

During a nighttime attack on Cherkasy region, two missiles and about a dozen “Shahed” drones were destroyed. In Zolotoniskyi district, the blast partially destroyed a barn, killing two cows. The fire was extinguished. Windows and roofs of residential houses were damaged, and a vehicle was affected.

In Zvenyhorodskyi district, windows in five buildings (residential and utility) were broken. A power line was also damaged. No injuries were reported, said Ihor Taburets, head of the Regional Military Administration.

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast

Yesterday, 9 September, the occupiers carried out 421 strikes on 11 settlements in Zaporizhzhia oblast. russian troops launched 8 airstrikes on Huliaipole, Novodanylivka, Chervone and Malynivka. 249 UAVs of various modifications (mostly FPV) attacked Zaporizhzhia, Plavni, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne and Malynivka. Four MLRS strikes hit Novoiakovlivka, Malynivka and Mala Tokmachka. 160 artillery strikes targeted Plavni, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Novoandriivka, Chervone and Malynivka. According to the General Staff, as of 16:00 on 10 September, the enemy attacked Ukrainian defenders’ positions once in the area of Bilohiria towards Huliaipole. The russian carried out one offensive action near Plavni towards Orikhiv, which was repelled.

Mykolaiv oblast

On Tuesday, 9 September, the Danish Minister of Higher Education and Science, Christina Egelund, visited Mykolaiv oblast together with a Danish delegation. One of the key locations was Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding, as Denmark is implementing important educational and scientific projects with this institution. Thanks to the support of Danish partners, in 2025, the university building damaged by shelling will be restored. The Danish organization “Engineers Without Borders” will allocate over 700,000 euros for the new shelter construction. In addition, Aalborg University has already allocated 1.4 million euros for joint projects with the university.

Odesa oblast

On the night of 10 September, the enemy attacked Izmail region with drones. Warehouses and a utility building were targeted.

That same night, air defense forces in southern Ukraine shot down or suppressed eight Shahed-type attack UAVs and various types of decoy drones.

Kherson oblast

In the morning, an evacuation vehicle hit a mine on the outskirts of Beryslav. A police officer was killed in the explosion, and two other law enforcement officers were injured. Two civilian men also suffered blast injuries and concussions.

Early in the morning, russian forces shelled a residential building in Bilozerka with artillery. A 30-year-old resident was injured in his own home, sustaining blast and closed head injuries, a concussion, brain trauma, and open fractures of both legs.

Another man sought medical help after being wounded in the shelling of Bilozerka earlier that morning. The 59-year-old resident was diagnosed with a blast injury and shrapnel wounds to his arm.

A woman from Kherson also required medical help after being attacked by a russian drone the previous day. The 34-year-old was diagnosed with a blast injury and concussion.

Yesterday, 9 September, the enemy attacked Kherson oblast with artillery, mortars, aircraft, and drones. Kherson, Antonivka, Sadove, Prydniprovske, Kizomys, Rozlyv, Bilozerka, Romashkove, Sofiivka, Molodizhne, Naddniprianske, Tomyna Balka, Beryslav, Virivka, Vysoke, Lvove, Odradokamianka, Olhivka, Tiahynka, and Burhunka were shelled. As a result of the attacks, six private houses, a medical facility, a police service vehicle, six civilian cars, and a gas pipeline were damaged. Four people were injured, including two police officers.

According to the General Staff, as of 16:00 on 10 September, Ukrainian units repelled two enemy attacks near Antonivka and Sadove towards Kherson.

Volyn oblast

The enemy once again attacked Lutsk community using UAVs. Rescuers extinguished the fire on an area of ​​1,000 sqm. Firefighters also went to Tsumani to eliminate the consequences of enemy shelling. There are no casualties. There are reports from citizens about the discovery of fragments of enemy UAVs in certain locations of the community, the relevant services are working on the ground.

Zakarpattia oblast

In Uzhhorod, portraits of fallen soldiers were moved to a park on Sandor Petofi Square – to the monument Cross of Courage to the Defenders of Ukraine. The location was previously agreed with families of fallen Heroes.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

The enemy attacked the area again, using various types of weapons. The Air Defense Forces were working. No casualties were reported.

Lviv oblast

About 60 enemy suicide bombers and over 10 missiles flew over Lviv at night. The Air Defense Forces shot down air targets. There were no casualties. There was debris hitting a civilian warehouse on Aviatsiina Street.

During the charity youth festival Youth Fest in Trostyanets community, UAH 26,300 were raised. In Slavska community, UAH 8,000 were raised in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. A charity concert was held in the village of Zabolottsi. Here, UAH 4,340 were raised and sent to the village of Luchkivtsi for the production of camouflage nets.

Rivne oblast

The Air Defense Forces were operating in Rivne oblast throughout the night. Enemy air targets were shot down. Representatives of the Security and Defense Forces, as well as other structures, are working on the scene. People and infrastructure were not harmed.

Rivne oblast received the 14th evacuation train from Donetsk oblast. This time, 16 people arrived and will be resettled in communities in Dubno region.

Ternopil oblast

During an air alert over the oblast, 1 Shahed UAV and 1 missile were shot down. There were no injuries or damage from falling debris.

Ten defenders from Ternopil will receive a one-time grant for treatment and rehabilitation. Since the beginning of 2025, 437 Ternopil soldiers have already received funds in the amount of UAH 15,000, and during 2024 – 295 servicemen.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

5 enemy drones were shot down by the Air Defense Forces during an air raid in the oblast overnight. Rescuers continue to work in Volochysk, Khmelnytskyi oblast, where the russians hit a sewing workshop with a missile. As of now, three people are known to have been injured.

Chernivtsi oblast

One enemy drone was spotted over Bukovina at night. It was promptly neutralized by the Air Defense Forces. There were no casualties, injuries or damage.

International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)

Boris Pistorius, German Defense Minister, announced that at the beginning of the 30th meeting of the Contact Group on Defense Issues in Ukraine (Ramstein), the transfer of 2 complete Patriot air defense systems to Ukraine. The 1st launchers have already arrived in Ukraine.

The Rheinmetall German Defense concern announced a new large-scale contract with Ukraine. Armin Papperger, CEO of the company, stated that the end of this year Ukraine will receive modern mobile Skyranger air defense systems to protect against drones.

Global impact of russian aggression 

On the night of September 10, russian attack drones entered Polish airspace. Aviation forces were deployed, and ground air defense and radar systems were placed on high alert. An F-35 fighter was also in the air.

Airports in Rzeszów, Lublin, Warsaw, and Modlin were temporarily closed. The greatest threat was in Podlaskie, Mazowieckie, and Lublin voivodeships.

Polish authorities reported that operations to neutralize the drones are ongoing, with the president and prime minister informed. Prime Minister Donald Tusk confirmed that military forces engaged the targets.

International reactions: U.S. Congressman Joe Wilson called for stricter sanctions on Russia and for providing Ukraine with weapons to strike Russian territory. Senator Dick Durbin described the incident as a clear warning that Putin is testing NATO’s resolve to defend Poland and the Baltic states.
