War in Ukraine today: latest news, 11 September 2025 (photo)

It has been the 1296  th day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression. 

Since the beginning of the day, 88 combat engagements have occurred on the front. Our defenders are stopping the enemy, holding the lines, and disrupting Russian plans.

Russian artillery shelling affected populated areas, including Korenok, Shalyhine, Novovasylivka, Rivne, Kozache, Malushyne, and Seredyna-Buda in Sumy region; Mykolaivka, Bohdanove, Dibrova, Halahanivka, and Zaliznyi Mist in Chernihiv region.

On the North-Slobozyanskyi and Kursk directions, two combat engagements took place, one of which is still ongoing. Today the enemy carried out seven airstrikes, dropping 15 guided bombs, and conducted 70 artillery strikes, including two using multiple launch rocket systems. At the same time, our units conducted active operations in several areas of Sumy region, achieving success by advancing up to 150 meters in some sectors and inflicting personnel losses on the enemy.

On the South-Slobozyanskyi direction, eight combat engagements occurred near Vovchansk and in the direction of Odradne, with three enemy attacks still ongoing.

On the Kupiansk direction, two combat engagements continue. Since the beginning of the day, the enemy has attempted to advance four times on our defenders’ positions near Kupiansk, Petropavlivka, Nova Kruhliakivka, and in the direction of Kurylivka.

On the Lyman direction, ten combat engagements occurred today, four of which are still ongoing. The enemy attacked near Shandryholove and Drobysheve.

On the Siverskyi direction, the enemy carried out seven attacks today near Hryhorivka, Serebrianka, Dronivka, and Viyimka, with one combat engagement still ongoing.

On the Kramatorsk direction, our defenders repelled one enemy attack. The enemy conducted offensive actions, trying to advance near Stupochky.

Defense forces stopped an enemy attack on the Toretskyi direction. The invader attempted to advance near Poltavka.

On the Pokrovsk direction, Russian troops tried 28 times to advance on our positions near Nikanorivka, Maiak, Novoekonomichne, Rodynske, Myroliubivka, Lysivka, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Muravka, Dachne, Filiya, and in the direction of Pokrovsk. Our defenders have already repelled 24 attacks; the fighting continues.

On the Novopavlivsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled nine enemy attacks near Ivanivka, Filiya, Zelenyi Hai, Tolstoi, Maliivka, Komyshuvakha, Olhivske, Poltavka, and in the direction of Novoivanivka. Five enemy attacks are still ongoing.

On the Huliaipole direction, the occupiers carried out airstrikes on Bilohirya and Zaliznychne.

On the Orikhiv direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions.

On the Prydniprovsk direction, the aggressor carried out one failed attack against our defenders’ positions. Odradokamianka was subjected to an airstrike.

No significant changes occurred in other directions.

Ukrainian troops are wearing down the enemy along the entire line of engagement and in the rear.

Ukraine changes its methods of countering Russian strike drones every 2–3 months in response to modifications in Russian UAVs, according to President Volodymyr Zelensky.

When creating new drones, Russia successfully copies Ukrainian technologies and increases the strike depth of its drones, according to Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi.

Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

Kharkiv oblast

Frontline

As of 16:00, on the South-Slobozyanskyi direction, eight combat engagements occurred near Vovchansk and in the direction of Odradne, with three attacks still ongoing.

On the Kupiansk direction, two combat engagements continue. Since the beginning of the day, Russian forces have attacked Ukrainian positions four times near Kupiansk, Petropavlivka, Nova Kruhliakivka, and in the direction of Kurylivka.

The enemy continues trying to advance deeper into our territory, but all attacks have been repelled. The frontline in the north, as well as on the Vovchansk, Kupiansk, and Izyum directions, remains stable.

Over the past 24 hours, 205 combat engagements were recorded.

On the South-Slobozyanskyi direction, 16 combat engagements took place near Vovchansk, Ambarne, and Odradne.

On the Kupiansk direction, four enemy attacks were recorded during the day. Defense forces repelled assault actions by the enemy near Myrne, Kupiansk, and Boryvska Andriivka.

Shelling

On the morning of September 11, Russian forces dropped an aerial bomb on Hrushivka in the Kindrashivka community. At least two women were injured, according to the Kharkiv region State Emergency Service press office. The strike caused a fire in a private house covering 30 sq. meters and also damaged neighboring homes.

Kupiansk District Incidents

Near Osynove in Kupiansk district, a Russian FPV drone attacked a police vehicle. Three officers were injured and are receiving medical care, according to the press service of the Kharkiv Police.

On September 11, around 09:40 in Kivsharivka, Kupiansk district, an ambulance came under artillery fire, the regional Emergency Medical Service reported. A paramedic and a medical technician were injured.

Over the past 24 hours, ten settlements in Kharkiv region were struck by enemy attacks, resulting in injuries to five people.

In the village of Blahodativka, Kindrashivka community, men aged 67 and 57 and women aged 63, 61, and 55 were injured.

The enemy actively used various weapons across Kharkiv region:

  • 10 KAB bombs

  • 2 UAVs of the “Geran-2” type

  • 1 UAV of the “Molniya” type

  • 5 FPV drones

  • 1 UAV (type being determined)

Damage to civilian infrastructure:

  • Kupiansk district: apartment building (Kupiansk city), private house (Hrushivka village), 2 vehicles (Blahodativka, Obukhivka), 3 combine harvesters (Ploske village)

  • Izyum district: private house and 2 farm buildings (Borova settlement)

  • Bohodukhiv district: private house, outbuildings, and power networks (Tymofiivka village)

  • Berestynskyi district: warehouse facilities of a civilian enterprise (Vysoke village)

Due to acute stress in Kupiansk, an elderly woman may have died, according to Andrii Kanashevych, head of the Kupiansk District Military Administration. Around 12:30 yesterday, Russian forces shelled the city, causing a fire in a multi-story building.

In hospital, one of the men injured yesterday by the Russian drone attack in Kindrashivka community died. Another injured man and three women remain under medical supervision in stable condition.

Three children remain hospitalized, all in stable condition with moderate injuries: 11- and 12-year-old boys who were injured by a grenade in the Velykoburlutska community, and a 6-year-old girl injured during shelling in Kupiansk.

In Kharkiv, a 15-year-old boy died in hospital. He had been injured on August 10 during a Russian attack in Kupiansk district. After the strike in Pishchane village, he was hospitalized in critical condition and placed on a ventilator. Doctors worked for a month to save his life, but his injuries were too severe.

Other updates

  • Over 201 hectares of Kharkiv region have been cleared of explosives in the past week.

  • 2,524 explosive devices were neutralized.

  • The transit evacuation point in Lozova received 186 people in one day; 65 remain. Since the beginning of operations, 2,218 people have been registered at the point.

  • Emergency restoration work has begun at building No. 11/13 on Svobody Street in Kharkiv, damaged by a missile strike in September 2022, according to the Kharkiv City Council press service. Currently, unsafe elements are being dismantled.

It took energy workers a week to restore electricity in Lozova, Kharkiv region, after Russian forces destroyed a substation that powers almost the entire city during the night of September 4. First Deputy Mayor Oleksandr Zhydkov confirmed that as of September 10, stable electricity supply has not yet been fully restored — as of the morning, power was available only in parts of Lozova.

Donetsk oblast

Frontline

On the Donetsk fronts on September 10, 158 battles took place. The Russian occupiers carried out the most attacks on the Pokrovsk and Novopavlivka directions, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.

On the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 57 enemy attacks near the settlements of Volodymyrivka, Vilne, Zolotyi Kolodiaz, Nove Shakhove, Kotlyne, Nikanorivka, Rodynske, Promin, Lysivka, Novoekonomichne, Myroliubivka, Zvirove, Udachne, Dachne, and Novoukrainka.

On the Novopavlivka direction, defense forces repelled 31 Russian assaults near the settlements of Filiya, Oleksandrorahd, Maliivka, Komyshuvakha, Olhivske, Tolstoi, Piddubne, Novoivanivka, and in the direction of Ivanivka.

Near Chasovy Yar in Donetsk, there is currently no activity indicating that Russian forces are attempting to fully control the settlement, as the Russian army is conducting a rotation, said Dmitro Zaporozhets, spokesperson for the 11th Army Corps.

Shelling

At 15:21, Russian forces shelled Kramatorsk. The strike hit the road surface at one of the city’s central intersections, according to the Military-Civil Administration (MCA).

On September 11, Russian occupiers struck Kostyantynivka, destroying the building of the city gas management administration, the press service of Donetskoblgaz reported.

During the night of September 11, Russian forces struck the settlement of Bilbasivka in Sloviansk with a Geran-2 drone, according to the head of Sloviansk MCA, Liakh. Private houses and vehicles were damaged. No civilian casualties were reported.

On the night of September 11, Russian aviation carried out strikes on Kostyantynivka, Donetsk, using high-explosive bombs. Initially, three residents may have been under the rubble of one of the destroyed buildings; one was rescued, one remains under the rubble, and a third person who might have been in the building at the time of the airstrike was reportedly not there, according to the head of Kostyantynivka MCA, Serhiy Horbunov.

On September 10, the police recorded 2,245 enemy strikes along the front line and in the residential sector.

Twelve settlements were under fire: the cities of Dobropillia, Druzhkivka, Kostyantynivka, Kramatorsk, Lyman, Pokrovsk, Sloviansk; the urban-type settlements of Novodonetske, Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka, Yasnohirka; and the villages of Bilokuzmynivka and Novoukrainka.

Seventy-seven civilian facilities were damaged, including 54 residential buildings.

In Kostyantynivka, Russian forces carried out 10 strikes, including 7 aerial bombings, killing one person and injuring another. Four apartment buildings, 18 private houses, and a shop were damaged.

In Novodonetske, Kramatorsk district, Russian troops attacked with an Iskander-M missile from a tactical missile system (OTRK), killing one civilian and injuring three others. Eleven apartment buildings, a religious facility, an administrative building, a cultural center, four civilian vehicles, and a bus were damaged. The settlement was also hit by four KAB-250 aerial bombs, which exploded in an open area.

Russian forces directed 15 drones at Kramatorsk, most of them of the “Geran-3” type. Six residents were injured, including two children. Damage was reported to 12 apartment buildings, 4 private houses, an administrative building, an educational institution, a market, and 4 civilian vehicles.

In Lyman, an FPV drone strike destroyed a private house. In Druzhkivka, Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka, and Bilokuzmynivka, one private house was damaged in each settlement.

In Pokrovsk, a private house was destroyed. In Novoukrainka of the Dobropillia community, railway infrastructure was damaged.

Yesterday, Russian forces attacked Kramatorsk 15 times with drones. Six people were injured, including two teenagers aged 16 and 17.

Volunteers from the humanitarian mission “Proliska” are evacuating elderly and mobility-impaired residents from Kostyantynivka who are unable to reach evacuation collection points on their own. About 6,400 people remain in Kostyantynivka. The evacuation is ongoing.

On September 13, the international event “Mariupol — Port of Memory” will take place in Chemnitz, Germany, to honor the thousands of Mariupol residents who died as a result of the Russian invasion, said the event’s creator, Mariupol resident Serhiy Shtambur.

Luhansk oblast

Frontline Updates

Russian forces stormed Ukrainian positions on the Lyman section of the front 27 times. Fighting took place near Hrekivka in our region. Close to the contact line, the occupiers used 28 UAVs and FPV drones, and struck 14 times with artillery. They also targeted positions with a multiple launch rocket system.

Censorship in the so-called “LNR”

Censorship has now been extended to satellite television. The head of the occupied region signed a decree prohibiting the use of satellite TV systems not designed to operate within the networks of Russian public TV and radio operators. As of September 11, the occupiers in Luhansk have banned the sale, installation, and use of such equipment. Owners of previously purchased satellite dishes that can receive channels other than Russian state media are required to dismantle them manually by November 1; after this date, removal will be enforced.

Emergency services in Sievierodonetsk

In Sievierodonetsk, it is difficult to call an ambulance even if a wired phone is available in an apartment or nearby, or a working payphone is nearby. Dispatchers frequently do not answer calls. Recently, locals invented a workaround: they call Russian rescuers or police, who then relay the information to medical personnel. So far, the system works.

Corruption and mismanagement

The Housing and Communal Services Department of Lysychansk city council purchased six trucks, allegedly at inflated prices. Its subordinate enterprise, Lysychanskteplomerezha, which is not operational, spent nearly 10 million UAH on staff salaries from July to December 2022. Audit materials have been forwarded to law enforcement, according to the State Audit Service of Ukraine.

Ban on satellite TV in Luhansk

The Russian occupation authorities in Luhansk have prohibited the sale and use of satellite equipment that allows viewing of Ukrainian TV channels. Everyone who owns such equipment must dismantle it by November 1.

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

President of Finland Alexander Stubb arrived in Kyiv. At a meeting with President Volodymyr Zelenskyi, the two leaders discussed the security situation, cooperation with NATO, and the possibility of creating a joint air defence system. Together with President Zelenskyi, Alexander Stubb honoured the memory of fallen Ukrainian defenders at the Wall of Remembrance near St Michael’s Cathedral.

President Zelenskyi also met with General Keith Kellogg, the Special Representative of the President of the United States for Ukraine, who arrived in Kyiv on a visit. The talks focused on different vectors of cooperation and specific projects aimed at achieving real peace and security guarantees for Ukraine.

According to Kyiv City State Administration, Kyiv City Council has increased funding for the “Care. Towards Kyivans” programme by UAH 130m.. At the beginning of 2025, UAH 740 million was allocated to the programme to provide financial assistance to residents of Kyiv, including those affected by russian military aggression.

In Kyiv oblast, facilities of the largest energy storage system complex in Ukraine with a total capacity of 200 MW have been put into operation. This is part of a large-scaled project implemented by DTEK Group in partnership with the U.S. company Fluence Energy B.V., supported by Ukraine’s Ministry of Energy.

In Kyiv, the Fifth Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen began under the theme “Education Shaping the World”, initiated by Ukraine’s First Lady, Olena Zelenska.

The Regional Military Administration reported that the First Lady of Austria, Doris Schmidauer, visited Kyiv oblast as part of the V Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen. In Irpin, she inspected the “Znayko” kindergarten, which had been damaged by russian aggression and was restored with the support of international partners, including Austria. She also viewed installations at the sites of tragic events during the russian occupation.

Zhytomyr oblast

Kyiv branch of the Forests of Ukraine State Enterprise reported that forest fires have once again broken out in the oblast as a result of russian attacks. Drone debris ignited blazes that were extinguished by foresters. In Zhytomyr oblast, a fire occurred in the Davydivka forestry of Ovruch forestry enterprise, covering an area of more than 0.5 hectares.

The Regional Military Administration informed that as a result of russian shelling in the oblast on 10 September, one person was killed and at least five others were injured. The strikes caused significant destruction in Oliivka and Berdychiv communities, including the destruction of five private houses, an administrative building with outbuildings, and vehicles. Private houses, outbuildings, educational institutions, and an industrial facility located at the epicentre of the attacks were also damaged: many windows were shattered, facades scarred, and roofs, doors, and fences damaged. For the second day in a row, commissions have been working in the affected communities to record damage and provide consultations to residents on how to apply for compensation for destroyed or damaged housing. Recovery efforts at the strike sites are ongoing.

According to Berdychiv City Council, in Berdychiv, russian attacks during the night and morning of 10 September damaged or destroyed five educational facilities, a vocational school, and residential buildings. Inspections of other community facilities are still underway.

Ninth-grader Liubomyr Chykhun from Stryzhiv Lyceum, Lyubar community, has raised UAH 1.3m. for the Armed Forces of Ukraine since spring 2022. The boy collected the funds by singing and playing the guitar at the local market.

Sumy oblast

On the morning of 11 September the General Staff reported that towards Northern Sloboda and Kursk, seven combat clashes were recorded over the past day. russian forces carried out 15 airstrikes, dropped a total of 32 guided aerial bombs, and conducted 204 artillery attacks, including 10 by multiple launch rocket systems.

Liudmyla Biriukova, Head of Velyka Pysarivka community, said that on 11 September, russian troops struck the settlement of Velyka Pysarivka by two guided aerial bombs. According to her, one bomb hit the central square, damaging a café, shops, the post office, and a stage. The second bomb struck the outskirts. Preliminary reports indicate no casualties.

Serhii Kryvosheienko, Head of Sumy Regional Military Administration, informed that russian forces also struck the cathedral in Sumy centre  by a drone. The attack caused damage while a liturgy was underway. The Holy Resurrection Cathedral of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine is the oldest stone building in Sumy and a national architectural monument.

According to Sumy City Council, At around 7:50am., a russian Molniya-type drone struck a household on Kulykivka Street in Sumy, causing an explosion without subsequent fire.

In Sumy community, the aftermath of a night strike on an educational institution is still being addressed. The drone attack damaged the school’s academic buildings, workshops, and equipment used by students and teachers. Windows and balcony frames were shattered in 16 nearby apartment buildings, as well as in a hospital and a polyclinic. More than ten non-residential buildings were also damaged.

The Regional Military Administration reported that on the evening of 10 September, in one of the villages of Velyka Pysarivka community, a russian drone targeted a civilian motorcycle, injuring a 16-year-old boy. The teenager was hospitalised and is currently in intensive care in critical condition.

Over the past day, from the morning of 10 September to the morning of 11 September, russian forces carried out 102 attacks on 52 settlements in 15 territorial communities of the oblast. Most of the shelling was recorded in Sumy and Shostka regions. The enemy extensively used guided aerial bombs (over 20 strikes), dropped VOG grenades by drones (up to 20 strikes), launched more than 10 drone attacks, and also carried out FPV-drone strikes and artillery shelling.

Consequences of russian strikes on Sumy oblast as of the morning of 11 September:

  • In Sumy community, civilian infrastructure was damaged, including school buildings and a school vehicle. Windows were preliminarily reported broken in three multi-storey residential buildings, one private house, and one car.
  • In Velyka Pysarivka community, an FPV-drone hit a motorcycle on a field road, injuring a 16-year-old boy. One private house, one non-residential building, eight trucks, and two cars were also damaged in the community.
  • In Mykolaivka rural community, one piece of civilian infrastructure and two private houses were damaged.

Northern Forestry Office informed that on the previous day, two forest fires broke out in different areas of Novomutyn forestry of Konotop Forest Enterprise due to russian attacks. Foresters extinguished the fires.

During the day, six people were evacuated from border communities by local authorities together with units of the State Emergency Service, the National Police, and civic organisations.

In Sumy, a food truck of “Food Without Borders” mission has started operating. It will provide meals for internally displaced persons and other vulnerable groups. The initiative is planned to run in the oblast centre until March 2026.

Chernihiv oblast

Dmytro Bryzhynskyi, Head of Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, said that on 11 September, a russian UAV struck one of the enterprises in Chernihiv, causing a fire on the premises. No fatalities have been reported so far.

The National University Chernihiv Polytechnic informed that as a result of the overnight russian attack on 11 September, a building of the University was damaged. Up to 10 windows in one of the university’s buildings and windows in a university bus were shattered. This is the third time since the beginning of the full-scaled invasion that the university has come under russian attack.

Viacheslav Chaus, head of the Regional Military Administration, reported that over the past 24 hours, from the morning of 10 September to the morning of 11 September, russia shelled Chernihiv oblast 41 times, with a total of 112 explosions recorded. The building of the city council in Semenivka was once again damaged by shelling. Debris from russian attack drones fell in Chernihiv, Novhorod-Siverskyi, Nizhyn and Koriukiv regions. In Chernihiv, an educational institution was damaged by enemy strikes, and in Nizhyn regions a residential building was hit.

According to Chernihiv Border Guard Detachment, on 10 September, russian forces attacked four border communities of Chernihiv oblast: Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka, Horodnia and Snovsk. The enemy carried out shelling by tube artillery (23 explosions), launched a fixed-wing UAV strike (1 explosion) and a “Molniya” UAV strike (3 explosions), fired unguided rockets (8 explosions), used FPV-drones (5 explosions), and dropped explosive devices from UAVs (10 explosions).

The State Emergency Service of the oblast stated that since the beginning of 2025, 267 fires have broken out in Chernihiv oblast as a result of hostilities. For comparison, over the same period last year there were 79 such fires. On 10 September alone, 11 fires caused by hostilities were recorded: two at facilities, one in the residential sector, three in forests, and four involving dry grass.

Oleksandr Seliverstov, Head of Novhorod-Siverskyi Regional Military Administration, said that in the border areas of Chernihiv oblast, russian forces have extended the distance of remote mining operations to more than 30 kilometres deep from the state border.

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

The russian forces attacked Synelnykove region, targeting Pokrov and Mezhivska communities by drones. Fires broke out, damaging a farm building and the roof of a private house. In total, 4 private houses, 4 farm buildings and a pharmacy were damaged.

Over the day, the enemy launched about 40 attacks on Nikopol region, striking the regional centre, Marhanets, Myrove, Chervonohryhorivka and Pokrov communities by drones and artillery. In Marhanets, 2 women aged 66 and 74 were injured in a drone strike. Fires broke out and a laboratory, 4 private houses, 3 farm buildings, an administrative building and a 2-story building were damaged. A car and a moped were destroyed. Infrastructure and a gas pipeline were hit.

Synelnykove region was attacked again, by drones and guided aerial bombs striking Pokrov, Mezhova and Mykolaivka communities. 3 private houses, an administrative building and enterprises were damaged. According to updated information, a 62-year-old man was injured in the morning strike on Malomykhailivka community, where a private house was destroyed.

Vinnytsia oblast

In Vinnytsia, the mother of fallen defender Roman Balaba received his posthumous award – the medal For Courage and Bravery. Senior Sergeant Roman Balaba, born in 1992, joined the defence of Ukraine in 2014 and served as commander of a reconnaissance platoon in the 95th Separate Air Assault Brigade. He was killed on 14 April 2022 near Izium in Kharkiv oblast. During a russian offensive, Roman ordered his unit to retreat while he stayed behind at his position, thereby saving the lives of his comrades.

Poltava oblast

A memorial ceremony was held in Poltava for 41-year-old soldier Oleksii Shevchenko. He served as a sniper and was killed on 23 August 2025 while carrying out a mission in Donetsk oblast.

Cherkasy oblast

Ihor Taburets, Head of Cherkasy RMA, stated that at night, defenders shot down 2 russian drones over Cherkasy oblast.

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast

Ivan Fedorov, Head of Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, reported that a 65-year-old man was killed in a russian attack on Polohy region. The military used at least 3 guided aerial bombs against Uspenivka village, destroying and damaging residential buildings.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that on 10 September, Ukrainian Defence Forces repelled 3 russian assaults in Orikhiv and Huliaipole regions. In particular, russian forces attempted to storm Ukrainian defensive positions near Plavni, Stepnohirsk and Bilohiria.

Ivan Fedorov, Head of the RMA, stated that on 10 September, russian troops carried out 527 strikes on 14 settlements in Zaporizhzhia oblast. In particular, 374 drones of various types (mostly FPV) targeted Zaporizhzhia, Bilenke, Plavni, Prymorske, Hulyaipole, Orikhiv, Shcherbaky, Chervone, Novodanilivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne and Novoandriivka.

Mykolaiv oblast

Based on the information provided by the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, on the night of 11 September, 3 russian attack drones were destroyed over Mykolaiv oblast.

During the day on 10 September, russian artillery shelled Kutsurub community. There were no casualties reported.

Odesa oblast

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, in the evening, drones were spotted over southern Odesa oblast. Air defence systems were activated to intercept them.

Kherson oblast

Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of Kherson RMA, informed that during a nighttime drone attack, Ukrainian air defence units shot down a russian Shahed-131/136 drone over Kherson oblast.

On 10 September, russian forces shelled 33 settlements in Kherson oblast. 5 people were injured. A high-rise building, 9 private houses, a garage and a farm building were damaged.

The Southern Defence Forces reported that on 10 September, on the Dnipro River region, Ukrainian units repelled 2 russian assaults in the directions of Antonivka and Sadove.

Volyn oblast

A meeting of business representatives with the leadership of the State Tax Service of Ukraine took place in Lutsk. This is the 15th meeting in the open dialogue format that the tax service has held with businesses in various oblasts.

Zakarpattia oblast

The RMA and the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine signed a memorandum of cooperation. The document provides for the provision of emergency medical care and online consultations in cases where this is necessary.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

Oblast sent 3 Matrice 4T quadcopters to the 182nd Battalion of the 122nd Brigade thanks to co-financing under the city’s Competition for Projects and Programs for the Development of Local Self-Government. This is the Odesa Brigade, which is currently fighting in Sumy oblast.

Lviv oblast

Lviv oblast sent 205 FPV drones worth UAH 3.8m to the 77th Airmobile, the 68th Oleksa Dovbush Jaeger, the 3rd Assault, 45th Artillery, 56th Motorized Infantry Brigades, the 7th Carpathian and 5th Border Troops, the International Legion and the SBU special forces.

Rudkiv community sent the Gemeinde Plankenfels wheels to the east to the defenders. The Rudkiv City Council provided funds in the amount of UAH 10,500 for the purchase of grid meters for the 35th brigade.

Rivne oblast

Rivne oblast has already received the 15th evacuation train this year. 15 residents of Donetsk oblast arrived. All of them were placed in communities of Rivne region. Starting from 21 August, the oblast has sheltered 224 people. In addition to Rivne, they were also placed in Dubna region. In total, the oblast received 28 evacuation trains during 2024-2025, which brought 1,134 people.

Ternopil oblast

The fighters of the 105th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade received an NVECTech Defender 660L thermal imaging sight from Ternopil community.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

Khmelnytskyi community budget revenues in the 3rd quarter were exceeded and almost UAH 153m was allocated for defense. In addition, almost UAH 19m was additionally allocated for the purchase of medical equipment, primarily for the treatment of the wounded.

Chernivtsi oblast

Chernivtsi oblast has already allocated almost UAH 220m to the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine in just 8 months of 2025. Of these, UAH 158m are expenditures from the budgets of local communities, UAH 61.1m are financing from the regional budget.

International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)

Sweden sent the 20th package of military assistance to Ukraine. The $836m package includes 18 new Archer self-propelled guns; 155-mm ammunition; mobile radars, ships with grenade launchers, unmanned maritime systems; additional weapons and equipment for 32 combat boats; 500 motorcycles and auxiliary equipment for air bases; radar sensors of the control system for Tridon Mk 2 anti-aircraft systems; programmable 40-mm anti-aircraft ammunition.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, had a phone conversation with Donald Tusk, Polish Prime Minister, Keir Starmer, British Prime Minister, Giorgia Maloni, Italian Prime Minister, and Mark Rutte, NATO Secretary General. They discussed support for Ukraine.
