It has been the 472nd day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression. 

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 6 pm:   

The russian federation continues to violate the laws and customs of war, and uses terror tactics.

The russian occupiers launched another air and missile attack on Ukraine, using 8 missiles, including 4 Iskander land-based cruise missiles, and 35 Iranian attack UAVs of the Shahed type against military and critical infrastructure facilities.

The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in cooperation with the air defense of other units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 2 cruise missiles and 20 attack UAVs “Shahed-136/131”.

In addition, the enemy carried out 66 airstrikes and launched 39 attacks from rocket salvo systems. Unfortunately, there are dead and wounded among the civilian population, destroyed and damaged private houses, other civilian and administrative infrastructure.

Ukraine is still under the threat of missile and air strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine remains very high.

The enemy is concentrating its main efforts on attempts to completely occupy Luhansk and Donetsk oblasts. 28 combat clashes took place.

Towards Volyn and Polissia, the operational situation has not changed significantly.

Towards Siversk and Sloboda, the enemy carried out mortar and artillery attacks on the settlements of Senkivka, Chernihiv oblast; Novovasylivka, Seredyna-Buda, Cuikivka, Kharkivka, Sosnivka, Stepok, Popivka, Dmytrivka, Sumy oblast, as well as Udy, Starytsa, Vovchansk, Budarky, Nesterne, and Mala Vovcha, Kharkiv oblast.

Towards Kupiansk, the enemy carried out airstrikes at Kislivka and Kotliarivka, Kharkiv oblast. Petro-Ivanivka, Novomlynsk, Zapadne, Masiutivka, Kislivka, Tabaivka of the Kharkiv region and Novoselivske, Luhansk oblast were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling.

Towards Lyman, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of Bilohorivka. They carried out airstrikes towards settlements of Nevske, Yampolivka, Zarichne, Lyman, Spirne, Vesele, Rozdolivka, Rai-Olexandrivka, Donetsk oblast. Nevske, Bilohorivka of the Luhansk region and Yampolivka, Torske, Verkhniokamianske, Spirne, Rozdolivka, Donetsk oblast were shelled from artillery.

Towards Bakhmut, the enemy carried out offensive actions at Bila Hora, without success. They carried out airstrikes in the areas of settlements of Bila Hora, Dilyivka, Toretsk, New York, Donetsk oblast . Areas of settlements of Vasiukivka, Orihovo-Vasylivka, Ivanovske, Bila Hora, Druzhba, Toretsk, Zalizne, and Severne, Donetsk oblast were affected by enemy artillery shelling.

The enemy did not conduct offensive operations towards Avdiivka. They carried out airstrikes in the areas of Avdiivka and Nevelske settlements. They  carried out artillery shelling of the regions of Avdiivka, Vodiane, Pervomaiske, Karlivka settlements, Donetsk oblast.

Towards Mariinka, our defenders repelled all enemy attacks in the area of the city of Mariinka. The enemy launched an air strike in the Krasnohorivka area. At the same time, they carried out artillery shelling in the vicinity of Hostre, Maksimilianivka, Mariinka, Pobieda and Novomykhailivka, Donetsk oblast.

Towards Shakhtarsk, the enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of Prechistivka, Zolota Nyva, and Velyka Novosilka, and shelled Vuhledar, Donetsk oblast.

The enemy continues to conduct defensive operations towards Zaporizhzhia and Kherson. They  carried out airstrikes in the vicinity of Novopavlivka, Huliaipole and Orikhove, Zaporizhzhia oblast. They shelled from artillery at more than 20 settlements. Among them were Vremivka, Novosilka, Novopil, Donetsk oblast; Olhivske, Malynivka, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Bilohiria, Stepove and Kamianske, Zaporizhzhia oblast; Zolota Balka, Sadove and the city of Kherson.

The enemy continues to suffer heavy losses, which they are trying to hide. Thus, in the temporarily captured Berdiansk, Zaporizhzhia oblast, the occupiers closed the territory in the western part of the city around the city morgue to visitors. On the territory of the morgue itself, a cluster of up to ten sanitary cars and several refrigerator cars was noted. The movement of medical vehicles in the northern direction to the line of battle continues.

The aviation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine made 15 strikes on manpower buildup areas and 2 strikes on the enemy’s anti-aircraft missile systems.

Units of rocket troops and artillery hit 2 control points, 5 areas of buildup of manpower, weapons and military equipment, 1 artillery unit in a firing position and 4 more important objects of the occupiers.


The Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko.As a result of the explosion of the Kakhovska HPP, according to data as of June 06, 2023, 4 people died. THe also noted that 27 people are considered missing. 2,620 people, including 160 children, were evacuated.

Unit #5 of the Zaporizhzhia NPP is being put into a “cold shutdown” state. This was reported in Energoatom. This state is currently the safest for a nuclear reactor after the destruction of the Kakhovska HPP.

Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

Kharkiv oblast

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, russian troops launched air strikes near Kyslivka and Kotliarivka. At least 12 settlements came under artillery and mortar attack.

Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office said that one person was killed and two other men injured in Kupiansk region as a result of a night UAV attack. Infrastructure facilities were damaged in Bohodukhiv region.

Yurii Fedorenko, the commander of a 92nd Brigade’s unmanned aerial vehicle unit informed that Masiutivka village, home to a dozen people before the full-scale invasion, was “wiped off the planet” by russian troops.

Donetsk Railways reported that four railway routes connecting settlements in Kharkiv and Donetsk oblasts have changed their schedules since 10 June.

Yesterday, russian invaders shelled settlements of Kharkiv, Kupiansk, Chuhuiv, Bohodukhiv and Izium regions with all available weapons.

At night, the enemy attacked the territory of Bohodukhiv and Kupiansk regions using more than 10 UAVs. Fires broke out. A 29-year-old man was killed and a 39-year-old man injured.

In Horokhovatka village, Izium region, a 48-year-old man was injured as a result of hostile shelling.

The enemy struck Kotliary village, Kharkiv region, with a Kalibr missile. The missile hit the ground. There were no large-scale destructions or casualties.

In Ivashky village, Bohodukhiv region, an incubator was damaged by shelling. In Hlushkivka village, Kupiansk region, a forest fire broke out due to shelling. In Vovchansk, Chuhuiv region, a 63-year-old man was hospitalised with an injury.

Mine clearance is ongoing. Yesterday, pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service examined almost 18 hectares of territory and defused 125 explosive ordnance.

Donetsk oblast

Ivan Tymochko, a soldier said that towards Bakhmut, in a few days the Armed Forces of Ukraine returned to their January positions near Bakhmut. At the same time, russian federation does not stop trying to attack. According to the General Staff, on the morning of 10 June, they tried to advance towards Bohdanivka, launched air strikes near three settlements and shelled more than 10 with artillery.   

Serhii Cherevatyi, spokesman of the Eastern Military Group said that the defence forces near Bakhmut pushed russian troops back almost a kilometre and a half. Ukrainian soldiers continue to storm russian positions and destroy their equipment and depots.

Petro Andriushchenko, Mariupol Mayor’s Councillor informed that russian forces began to move military equipment from Mariupol region, Donetsk oblast, to the occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia oblast. Aviation has also become more active towards Berdiansk and Zaporizhzhia.

Vitalii Barabash, head of the City Military ADministration said that as of 2 pm on 10 June, russian troops shelled the central part of Avdiivka 12 times. There were tank attacks and Russian troops shelled from Grad rocket launchers and cannon artillery. There was no information about casualties.

Vadym Liakh, head of the Sloviansk City Military Administration stated that enclosures were set up for animals from a local petting zoo that had been abandoned by their owner. For more than a year, Blahoustrii local utility company has been taking care of the abandoned animals. For several weeks, no one visited them, there was a lot of rubbish and they hardly moved. But all of them survived, they are alive and well. He also said that further plans include building more enclosures and moving all the animals from the zoo to Shovkovychnyi Park.

Forced russian passport issuance continues in the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts. In the temporarily occupied Donetsk, they started issuing russian passports which previously could only be obtained in russia. According to the occupation administration, this document is issued only to those who have received an internal russian passport and paid a fee.

In the middle of the night, russians launched a missile attack on Druzhkivka, damaging 4 buildings, an outpatient clinic and a business. Rai Oleksandrivka of Mykolaivka community also was under attack.

Towards Donetsk, 1 person was killed in Kurakhove, 1 building destroyed and 2 more damaged. Krasnohorivka, Kostiantynivka and Katerynivka of Marinka community were under shelling. A building in Lastochkyne of Ocheretyne community was destroyed.

Towards Horlivka, 1 person was injured in Toretsk – 3 buildings, 4 infrastructure facilities and an administrative building were damaged in the community. In Chasiv Yar community, 2 buildings were damaged. In Soledar community, Minkivka, Vasiukivka and Rozdolivka were shelled. In Kostiantynivka community, a lyceum and a religious building in Markove were damaged.

Towards Lysychansk, 2 buildings in Zvanivka were destroyed and there were 9 attacks in Lyman community.

Pavlo Kyrylenko, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration reported that yesterday Russians killed 1 civilian in Kurakhove. Another 1 person was injured in the region over the day.

Luhansk oblast

About 90 russian soldiers deserted in the temporarily occupied Arapivka. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, they left their combat positions without permission.

Luhansk Regional Military Administration said that the invaders will not restore the water supply in Hirske – they have solved the problem by supplying water.

Russians attacked Nevske and Stelmakhivka from the air. For several months, the enemy has been storming Bilohorivka, trying to break through the defences in this area of the frontline. However, the enemy did not succeed either yesterday or earlier. The attacks were repelled and Russians retreated with losses.

The invaders shelled Novoselivske, Nevske, Bilohorivka and Dibrova with artillery of various calibres.

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau arrived in Kyiv for an unannounced visit. During the visit, a new package of military assistance from Canada worth almost USD 400 million was announced. A joint declaration was also signed stating that Canada supports Ukraine’s membership in NATO as soon as conditions allow.

The RMA informed that the communities of the oblast continue to promptly collect the most necessary items for the residents affected by russia’s cynical terrorist act. The second batch of aid for Kherson oblast that includes water pumping equipment, biological water treatment plants, inflatable boats, heat guns, fuel, water and food is sent by Kyiv oblast.

The “Kyiv Digital” app team will be developing the “Defender’s Electronic Cabinet” for military personnel and veterans of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to Petro Olenych, Head of Kyiv Digital Transformation, the service will allow defenders to exercise their right to medical and financial assistance, apply for benefits, and receive services from the city electronically and in the shortest possible time.

According to Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration Petro Panteleiev, Kyiv city authorities are planning to purchase and install an additional two hundred modular reinforced concrete shelters of rapid deployment. 

In Kyiv, memorial plaques to Ukrainian defenders were unveiled in memory of the fallen heroes. A plaque to the “cyborg” Hero of Ukraine Ivan Zubkov was unveiled on the facade of the main building of the Kyiv Mohyla Academy, and a plaque to three volunteer defenders was unveiled on the building of the Kyiv Biotechnology Gymnasium No. 177.

A new mural “Support” has been created in Kyiv’s Podil district to express gratitude to Ukrainian volunteers who have become rear guard superheroes since the start of the full-scale invasion. The mural’s design is based on a work by renowned Canadian artist and illustrator Eric Pause, symbolically titled “Without You, I Don’t Exist”.

Zhytomyr oblast

In Zviahil, the city’s utility services and volunteers are clearing rubble in the residential sector of the city after a missile strike by the russian army on 9 June. Four construction teams are also working on site to repair the roofs and ceilings of the damaged buildings. The necessary construction materials are being provided by local entrepreneurs.

The mayor of Zviahel, Mykola Borovets reported that five houses were completely destroyed and 58 others were damaged as a result of the falling debris from the downed russian missile.  The townspeople whose houses were destroyed in Zviahel as a result of the russian strike will receive the first financial aid of UAH 50,000, and UAH 10,000 each for those whose houses were damaged by the strike.

On 7 and 8 June, rescuers from Zhytomyr region competed for the title of winners of the Regional Fire and Applied Sports Championship in memory of Volodymyr Hergovskyi, the former head of the regional rescue service who passed away prematurely in 2008. More than one and a half hundred rescuers from 22 teams competed in five stages, including a 100-metre obstacle course, an assault ladder climb, a retractable ladder climb, a fire relay and a combat deployment.

The Summer Camp 2023 at the Caritas Zhytomyr Charitable Foundation starts on 12 June. Children aged 8-15 from families of internally displaced persons will have a quality and interesting summer holiday.

Sumy oblast 

On 9 June, the Russians carried out 16 attacks, with a total of 133 detonations. According to the Sumy Military District Administration, Yunakivka, Bilopillia, Miropillia, Krasnopillia, Esman, Shalyhyne, Novoslobidsk, and Velykopysarivska communities were attacked with artillery, mortars, and multiple rocket launchers. As a result of the shelling of the Yunakivka community, a local resident was wounded, and a private house, an outbuilding and a garage were damaged.

Sumy Regional Military Administration reported that the russians fired two mortar attacks on the territory of the Seredyno-Buda community at night. 

Sumy Regional Military Administration reported that there are 83,811 people registered in the Unified Information Database of Internally Displaced Persons, including more than 20,000 children. Two-thirds of them are residents of Sumy oblast.

Chernihiv oblast

The border settlements of Karpovychi, Yeline and Leonivka were shelled last day. As of 09:00 on 10 June, a total of three attacks occurred in Chernihiv oblast, with 31 artillery shells exploding in the region.

Viacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv Oblast Military Administration reported thsat almost 1,000 applications for compensation for damaged property have been submitted to Diia under the eRestoration programme. More than 18,000 reports of damaged and destroyed housing have been recorded in the oblast, including nine thousand reports of damaged apartments, about eight thousand in the private sector and one thousand in other residential premises.

The Regional Infrastructure Restoration and Development Service reported that the repaired bridge on the M-01 Kyiv-Chernihiv-Novi Yarilovychi road in Chernihiv oblast was reopened. This is the fifth fully restored bridge that was damaged during active hostilities in February-March 2022. In total, 27 bridges were destroyed or damaged during the hostilities in the region.

The Chernihiv Regional State Administration reported that the oblast is implementing the Swiss-Ukrainian project DECIDE – “Decentralisation for the Development of Democratic Education”. The project partners are the Koropska, Menska, Bereznianska, and Chernihiv territorial communities, which will receive one million hryvnias to implement student social projects. A plan will be created at the regional level to help identify opportunities to restore education for the next 5 years.

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

According to Head of the regional council Mykola Lukashuk, at night, soldiers from the ‘East’ air defence force shot down two enemy drones over Dnipropetrovsk region. Russians attacked the Pokrovsk community of the Nikopol region with artillery.

In Chervonohryhorivka community of Nikopol region, pumping stations that helped provide the population with drinking and industrial water were shut down since the reservoir from which water was pumped became shallow after the destruction of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station. It is no longer possible to pump water into the system.

Dnipro volunteers evacuated 40 animals from the submerged city of Kherson. Some of them are being treated in one of Dnipro’s veterinary clinics. The animals are stressed and afraid of people.

Vinnytsia oblast

​​Vinnytsia Mayor Serhii Morhunov announced that the community of Vinnytsia delivered more than 65 tonnes of aid to Kherson, including boats, food, water and more.

Kirovohrad oblast

Kropyvnytskyi employees donated one and a half tonnes of aid for people and animals in submerged Kherson oblast. The food was delivered to a Kherson shelter which houses 600 cats and dogs. Animals are brought to the shelter from flooded areas and left there by their owners for temporary stay. 

According to Andrii Malitskyi, head of the Svitlovodsk TC, after russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, three enterprises evacuated to Svitlovodsk, Kirovohrad oblast. One of them is engaged in metalworking and employs up to 10 people. Another company from Kharkiv oblast produces beekeeping equipment, and another from Kherson oblast produces clothing. 

Poltava oblast

According to Dmytro Lunin, Head of the Poltava Regional State Administration, during the night attack in the area of the Myrhorod military airfield, the enemy used ballistic and cruise missiles of the Iskander type, as well as Iranian-made attack drones. There was some damage to the airfield’s infrastructure and equipment.  The falling debris damaged 8 private buildings and 4 private cars.

According to Dmytro Lunin, Head of the Poltava Regional State Administration, an aid package from Poltava oblast has already arrived in Kherson oblast.  A total of 13 boats, 12 motor pumps and hoses for them, motors for boats, life jackets, life jackets, lifebuoys, overalls, air heaters, engine oil, bulletproof vests, and  20 tonnes of drinking water have already been delivered. 

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast

On June 10, russian military hit a private house in Orikhiv. Two people were killed. In Preobrazhenka, a 77-year-old man sustained mine-blast injuries and was promptly taken to a medical facility.

According to the rescue services as a result of shelling by the russian occupation army, a fire broke out on the territory of one of the enterprises in Huliaipole, Zaporizhzhia oblast. Two people were injured. 

In the city of Zaporizhzhia, the lower water table is 13.6 meters, which is 90 centimeters below the permissible level. In total, since the russians blew up the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant, the water level has dropped by 3 meters and 56 centimeters. 

According to Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, over the past day, June 9, the russian army conducted 77 attacks on 14 localities: aviation attacked Gulyaypole and Olhivske, UAVs attacked Stepove and Huliaipole, and MLRS attacked Kamianske, Olhivske and Malynivka 4 times. Zaliznychne, Charivne, Chervone, Chervone, Temyrika, Malynivka, Huliaipolske, Scherbaky, Kamianske and Stepove came under fire. 

Flowers, angels and patriotic inscriptions were painted by children from Volodymyrivske village and Solnechne village of Zaporizhzhia district on a car that will go to the front. They used more than 12 cans of paint and stencils created by themselves.

Mykolaiv oblast

Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration reported that on June 9, at 15:00, the enemy shelled the town of Ochakiv in the Ochakiv community. As a result, residential buildings, outbuildings, and a cultural center were damaged. At 15:48, the russian army fired artillery and at 18:00 mortar shelling at the water area of the Ochakiv community. There were no casualties. On June 10, at 10:35, the occupants fired on the Ochakiv territorial community.

In Mykolaiv region, 540 buildings, 856 gardens, 549 households in 31 settlements are flooded. The village of Afanasivka in Snihurivka ATC, home to 379 residents, is in complete isolation. The villagers are connected to the rest of the territory through rescuers: they get here by boat and bring the necessary food and things or take people out of the village if they want to leave. 

In Mykolaiv region, work is underway to bring the areas to a safe condition. Currently, 11 pyrotechnic teams from 5 regions are working in the region. On June 9, 6 FAB-500 bombs were destroyed in the open area of the Pervomaiska community in Mykolaiv district by controlled detonation by SES pyrotechnics.

Odesa oblast

At night, on June 10, the russian occupation army attacked Odesa region with drones and missiles. The air defense forces shot down all Shahed-131/136 over the region, but the falling debris caused a fire in a high-rise building. Three civilians were killed, and more than 30 others were injured with varying degrees of severity. There are four children among the victims.

Odesa Regional Military Administration reported that several multi-storey residential buildings, a school, a kindergarten, commercial facilities and vehicles parked near the buildings were damaged as a result of enemy strikes. In addition, six people, including two minors, were injured in Bilhorod-Dnistrovsky district as a result of a missile strike and falling debris from downed missiles, and 22 private residential buildings were damaged. Law enforcement officers together with rescuers continue to eliminate the consequences of enemy shelling, dismantle the rubble, provide assistance to the victims and secure the territory. Investigative teams of territorial police units are working on the ground.

The press service of the Ukrainian Navy reported that over the past week, 19 ships have left the ports of Greater Odesa as part of the “grain deal”. In total, almost a million tons of grain and other food products were transported on board.  

According to Serhiy Kryvenko, head of the Ajalyk Charitable Foundation, another batch of humanitarian aid was sent from Odesa region to Kherson region. It was done jointly with volunteers from other Odesa-based charitable foundations. Drinking water, food packages, hygiene products and animal feed were sent to Kherson region.

Kherson oblast

Ihor Klymenko, Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine said that as of 19.00, 2678 people were evacuated in Kherson region. The number of people missing as a result of the flooding has increased to 29.

The average level of flooding in Kherson region is 4.6 meters. Heavy rains are expected in the coming days, so the rate of water recession will slow down. Currently, the water level in the Kakhovka reservoir has dropped by 6.25 meters since the beginning of the hydroelectric power plant accident. 

Volodymyr Litvinov, head of Beryslav RA,said that as of the evening of June 10, the water level in the Ingulets River rose by 5.88 meters.

Oleksandr Prokudin, head of Kherson Regional Military Administration reported that on the right bank of the Dnipro, 35 settlements and 3,763 houses are flooded. Kherson, Bilozerka and Zymivnyk are the most affected by the flooding.

The situation is critical on the left bank of Kherson region. In Hola Prystan and in Kardashyn starosta district, the water level has dropped by 20-30 centimeters, but the intensity has decreased. The russian occupiers are in no hurry to help people, instead threatening to shoot locals who rushed to save their fellow countrymen.

In Beryslav region, 270 houses, two pumping stations, and bridges are flooded. Schools in Kalynivka and Bobrovyi Kut are flooded, a transformer substation in Novohredneve, and a modular rural health center in Blahodativka.

The russian army shelled the Korabelny district of Kherson, wounding two volunteers. They were taken to the hospital. This was reported by the Kherson Regional Military Administration.

Yevhen Ryshchuk, mayor of Oleshky reported that in Oleshky, people are still on the roofs of their flooded houses. The situation is critical. Local residents reported that the russian military took away the boat from the volunteers who evacuated people, and they are taking property from the houses. The school and hospital where people are fleeing the flood are running out of food.

Dirty water has already started coming out of the wells, and there are reports of cases of poisoning. At the same time, the chief physician assured that they have the necessary supply of medicines. 

The Ingulets River has exceeded the permissible level of harmful substances. This is evidenced by laboratory tests conducted by the State Environmental Inspectorate on June 9. Environmentalists report an excess of ammonium nitrogen, total iron and suspended solids. 

Latest news for today in the western regions of Ukraine

Volyn oblast

A charity concert of the Con Moto chamber orchestra will be held in Lutsk on June 15. During the concert, fundraising for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will continue.

Zakarpattia oblast

Uzhhorod City Council held a meeting with the delegation of the Czech Republic. Czech partners have expressed their desire to participate in the construction of a military cemetery in Shakhta neighborhood.

In Uzhgorod, on Bohdan Khmelnytskyi Square, roses, which were sent from Donetsk oblast last year, are blooming. In the spring of 2022, the city council of Pokrovsk sent rose seedlings to Zakarpattia in gratitude for the fact that their residents were sheltered here.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

20 tonnes of bottled drinking water and plastic containers of various volumes were sent to the affected residents of Kherson oblast from local entrepreneurs. Also, emergency places for receiving people from Kherson have already been deployed in the oblast.

Lviv oblast

Lviv sent a 20-tonnes truckload of humanitarian aid to residents of Kherson from the city authorities, entrepreneurs and benefactors.

Over 13K wounded Ukrainians were treated at the Unbroken center in Lviv. These are military and civilians, adults and children.

56 school-age children from among IDPs living in shelters in Drohobych region received tablets for learning thanks to the cooperation of Enlightenment of the Carpathians with the International Organization for Migration.

For 20 children from IDPs from Kharkiv, a tourist and wellness trip was held within the framework of the Summer without Worries initiative of Lviv RMA. They climbed mountains, took part in master classes, entertainment events and outdoor sports.

The Strii Organic Fest charity Carpathian fair-festival is held in Strii. Producers of environmentally friendly products from different parts of Ukraine are presented at the fair. The collected funds will be used to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Rivne oblast

The RMA held a meeting with Yagnur Guldere, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkey to Ukraine.

Medical equipment worth UAH 1 million was sent to Rivne Regional Children’s Hospital thanks to the Turkish Cooperation and Development Agency (TIKA) and Yagnur Guldere, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkey to Ukraine.

The RMA reported that 2 trucks of humanitarian aid, including about a ton of bread and food, 22.5K liters of water, 500 food kits for long-term storage (biscuits, raisins, nuts, canned goods), animal feed and hygiene products were sent from Rivne oblast.

Ternopil oblast

Ternopil City Council held a meeting with Roger Fredrikson, Mayor of the Swedish city of Ronneby, and Sara Blixt, Head of the political assembly. The result of the meeting was the signing of a partnership agreement between the cities.

26 dogs from Kherson oblast were evacuated to a sterilization center in the village of Dychkiv.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

Khmelnytskyi oblast sent humanitarian aid, namely, 44 tonnes of drinking water, 15K liters of fuel, 20 generators, 200 shovels, 20 pairs of rubber boots, clothes, household chemicals, bed linen, blankets, mattresses, etc., to Kherson oblast thanks to the reserves of the State Reserve and volunteers.

A car and 3 quadcopters were handed over to the border guards, who will soon go to the front line from benefactors.

Chernivtsi oblast

Communities of Chernivtsi oblast collected over 100 tonnes of aid, namely, food, drinking water and necessary things, for the people of Kherson affected by the russians’ explosion of the dam of Kakhovka HPP. In total, 90 tonnes of water, 15 boats, 50 pumps, and 10 tonnes of food were sent from Chernivtsi oblast.

Moldova will provide Ukraine with humanitarian aid, namely, water pumping stations; inflatable boats; food; flood relief equipment, in the amount of 4.2 million lei to eliminate the ecological and humanitarian consequences of the terrorist attack at Kakhovka HPP.

Canada will send the confiscated russian An-124 Ruslan aircraft to Ukraine as part of a new military aid package, which will also include 10K artillery shells and 76 Roshel Senator armored vehicles. In addition, Canada will join the F-16 fighter coalition for Ukraine.

Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada, and Khrystia Freeland, Deputy Prime Minister, arrived in Kyiv with an unannounced visit. Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Ukrainian President, and Justin Trudeau, Canadian Prime Minister, adopted a declaration in which Ottawa supported the acquisition of Ukraine’s membership in NATO “as soon as conditions permit.”

The US Congress has registered a bill to recognize the russian federation as a state sponsor of terrorism. The document was submitted by Democratic Congressman Ted Lieu. The initiative was supported by representatives of both parties.

US congressmen presented a resolution calling on the US president to transfer ATACMS missile systems with a longer range to Ukraine. The resolution was presented by members of both parties. The resolution also calls on US allies and partners to provide Ukraine with long-range missile systems.
