The russian federation continues to wage a war of aggression and use terror tactics against the civilian population of Ukraine.
The russian forces launched another massive missile and air strike on the territory of Ukraine, including Kyiv. All attack UAVs and cruise missiles, but all of them were destroyed in the sky.
In total, the enemy conducted 62 air and 15 missile strikes, fired about 20 times from multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of our troops and populated areas.
There is still a high threat of missile and air strikes across Ukraine.
The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on attempts to fully occupy Luhansk and Donetsk regions. During the day, the occupants carried out 15 attacks, but all of them were repelled by the defense forces.
Towards Volyn and Polissia, the situation remained unchanged, with no signs of offensive groups forming.
Towards Siversk and Sloboda, the enemy continues to maintain a military presence in the areas bordering Ukraine. There was an airstrike in the area of Ohirtseve, Kharkiv oblast. Yanzhulivka and Leonivka in Chernihiv oblast; Novovasylivka, Romashkove, Atynske, Yunakivka in Sumy oblast, as well as Udy, Kozacha Lopan, Vetarnye, Kozacha Lopan, Hoptivka, Pylyna, Zelenka, Verkhnia Pysarivka, Starytsia, Ogirtseve, Hatyshche, Pletenivka, Vovchansk, Zybyno, Rybalkyne, Budarky, Zemlianky, Chuhunivka, Odradne in Kharkiv oblast were shelled.
Towards Kupiansk, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensives near Novoselivske in Luhansk oblast. Topoli, Dvorichanske, Kamianka, Fiholivka, Dvorichna, Kutkivka, Kyslivka, Tabaivka, Kotliarivka, Berestove in Kharkiv oblast and Novoselivske in Luhansk oblast came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.
Towards Lyman, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensives near Makiivka in Luhansk oblast and Spirne in Donetsk oblast. There were airstrikes near Bilohorivka, Luhansk oblast, and Spirne, Donetsk oblast. Nevske and Bilohorivka in Luhansk oblast and Verkhnekamianske, Torske, Spirne, and Rozdolivka in Donetsk oblast were shelled with artillery.
Towards Bakhmut, the enemy conducted airstrikes in the areas of Bila Hora and Chasiv Yar in Donetsk oblast. Vasiukivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Novomarkove, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Predtechine, Bila Hora and Niu York in Donetsk oblast suffered from enemy artillery shelling.
Towards Avdiivka, the enemy did not conduct any offensive. There were airstrikes in the area of Avdiivka, Donetsk oblast. They shelled the settlements of Avdiivka, Pervomaiske and Karlivka with artillery.
Towards Marinka, the enemy conducted offensive actions, however, our defenders repelled all 8 enemy attacks. Estimated enemy losses amounted to up to 10 people killed and about 20 wounded. In addition, 2 units of enemy vehicles were destroyed. At the same time, the enemy continued to destroy Ukrainian towns and villages, launched an airstrike on Marinka, and fired artillery at Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Pobieda and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk oblast.
Towards Shakhtarsk, the enemy fired at Vuhledar, Prechystivka and Novoukrainka.
Towards Zaporizhzhia and Kherson, the russian military continues to conduct defensive actions. There were airstrikes near Olhivske and Novodanylivka in Zaporizhzhia oblast, as well as Kozatske and Odradokamianka in Kherson oblast. Vremivka, Donetsk oblast; Malynivka, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Huliaipolske, Bilohiria, Mala Tokmachka and Novoandriivka in Zaporizhzhia oblast, as well as the city of Kherson were shelled.
The military leadership of the russian federation has decided to reinforce the state border with cadets of higher military educational institutions. Thus, on May 31, about 200 third-year cadets armed with small arms and grenade launchers were sent to the western border of the russian federation under the pretext of training.
Aviation of the defense forces conducted 8 strikes on buildups of russian personnel, as well as 2 strikes on enemy anti-aircraft missile systems.
Ukraine’s defenders destroyed 15 cruise missiles and 17 enemy attack UAVs of the Shahed-136 type.
Rocket and artillery units hit a control center, 2 ammunition depots, 2 electronic warfare stations, a radar station and an enemy multiple launch rocket system.
Iryna Vereshchuk, Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories, reported that 371 children who had been illegally deported by russia were returned. “We have already managed to return 371 children. And this process is ongoing, it is really very difficult, because, in fact, the international community cannot influence the return of children. You’ve probably heard about volunteers, you’ve probably heard about NGOs, about how the state does it, but international organizations are powerless. And here is a question for the civilized world – how to ensure that those organizations that are called upon and mandated to protect children, not only Ukrainian children, but all children in the world in conflict zones, do everything in their power to be involved in the mechanism of returning children. So far, this mechanism does not exist as an effective format,” she emphasized.
The Ministry of Reintegration reports on the forced evacuation of 239 children from seven settlements in Ukraine. Evacuation will be mandatory from places where the security situation remains critical, namely the town of Zalizne, the villages of Niu York and Pivdenne, Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Mykolaivka, and Podilske.
Recent war events in the east of Ukraine
Kharkiv oblast
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the russian army carried out an airstrike near Oghirtseve in Chuhuiv region. At least 28 settlements in Kharkiv oblast came under mortar and artillery fire during the day.
Kharkiv’s Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported that the russians struck at the village of Kivsharivka, Kupiansk region, with two guided aerial bombs. A residential building was damaged. Two people were killed – an elderly man and a woman. 3 women and a 3-year-old boy were injured. Emergency services are currently working at the scene.
According to the press service of the Regional Prosecutor’s Office, the russian occupiers struck Dvorichna in Kupyansk region. Preliminarily, the settlement was shelled from a tank, a 63-year-old woman and a 70-year-old man were injured.
At about 17:05, the russian army launched another missile attack on Kharkiv oblast. Two S-300 missiles were recorded arriving in the forest area of Zmiiv community in Chuhuiv region. Preliminary, no large-scale damage or casualties were reported. The information is being clarified.
Around 12:00, a car carrying a family with three children was blown up on an unknown explosive device near the villages of Morozova Dolyna and Lemishchyna in Bohodukhiv region. A 37-year-old woman was killed on the spot. Two girls, aged 12 and 15, and a 12-year-old boy were seriously injured. All the victims were hospitalized, and doctors are currently fighting for their lives.
On June 1, the russians launched a missile attack on the city of Kharkiv and continued to shell the border and frontline settlements of Kharkiv, Kupiansk and Chuhuiv regions.
A missile attack on the Industrial district of Kharkiv damaged buildings of a civilian enterprise, injuring a 63-year-old woman and a 56-year-old man. They did not need hospitalization and received medical care on the spot.
On June 2, russian occupiers massively shelled Vovchansk, Chuhuiv region. A store, a fire station, and residential buildings were damaged, and fires broke out in the town. As a result of the shelling, 3 people were injured.
A tractor was blown up on an anti-tank mine in the village of Hrakovo, Chuhuiv region. A 61-year-old tractor driver was wounded and hospitalized.
Mine clearance is underway. Over the last day, pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service examined 8.7 hectares of territory and defused 152 ordnance.
Donetsk oblast
Police reported that 198 children have been killed and 287 wounded in Donetsk oblast since the beginning of the full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine.
On June 2, russian troops attempted to attack the positions of the Defense Forces in the area of Marinka. The Ukrainian military repelled all 8 attacks.
Vitalii Barabash, Head of the military administration, said that the russian army carried out 26 massive shelling attacks and 4 airstrikes on the city over the past day. A woman born in 1976 was killed by a tank shelling in Avdiivka on June 1.
Serhii Cherevatyi, Spokesman for the Eastern Group of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that towards Bakhmut and Lyman, russian troops fired more than 1000 times.
.In the middle of the night, the russians struck at Toretsk, hitting a school where the Invincibility Centre was located. This is not the first time this school has been hit – the occupiers deliberately target objects that provide humanitarian aid and support to civilians. In addition, 15 high-rise buildings, 5 private houses and 7 administrative buildings were damaged in the city. 2 people were injured.
Towards Volnovakha, 3 houses were damaged in Novoukrainka, Prechystivka and Bohoyavlenka of the Vuhledar community came under fire.
Towards Donetsk, the enemy fired 7 times at Kurakhove community: no casualties were reported, 4 high-rise buildings, 13 private houses and 1 administrative building were damaged. Krasnohorivka and Maksymilianivka near Maryinka were shelled.
Towards Horlivka, Chasiv Yar came under fire – 1 person was injured, 4 multi-storey buildings and 9 private houses were damaged. In Kostiantynivka, 4 private houses were damaged.
Towards Lysychansk, 2 people were wounded in Siversk.

Mariupol City Council reported that the occupiers hit a mine near Olenivka on the Mariupol-Donetsk highway, killing three people.
Pavlo Kyrylenko, Head of Donetsk Military Administration reported that on June 1, russians killed 2 residents of Donetsk oblast – in Avdiivka and Chasovyi Yar. In addition, information about 1 person killed in Vuhledar was established. Another 12 people were injured in the region.
Luhansk oblast
On June 1, russians attacked Serhiivka and Bilohorivka from the air. The situation is tense in each of the sectors. While earlier near Svatove the occupiers concentrated efforts on Bilohorivka and Kreminna, recently it has been hot there as well. On June 1, the russians tried to advance towards Kuzemivka and Bilohorivka, but all their attempts were stopped by our defenders. This time, the russian military shelled Novoselivske, Nevske and Bilohorivka with various types of artillery.
Luhansk regional military administration reported that the Ministry of Economy of the russian federation is considering a proposal to introduce a six-day working week in the so-called “lpr and dpr”. No one will increase the payroll – only the number of hours worked.
Demonstrative restoration of many high-rise buildings in Sievierodonetsk has been postponed for several years. In particular, double-glazed windows are planned to be installed in the old districts of the city in 2026. People somehow managed to survive without windows for a year or ordered them at their own expense.
The sanitary and epidemiological situation in Severodonetsk, as well as in the surrounding destroyed cities, is deteriorating. The invaders have not created any special services for sanitizing the area.
What is happening now in the north of Ukraine
Kyiv oblast
The Air Force of Ukraine reported that on the night of June 2, the capital was attacked by Shahed-136/131 kamikaze drones from the southern direction that used the topography of the area and the channel of the Dnipro river. Around 3 o’clock strategic bombers launched X-101/X-555 cruise missiles, which attacked Kyiv from the northern direction and maneuvered, trying to mislead the Ukrainian air defense. All 15 cruise missiles and 21 attack drones were destroyed by air defense forces and means.
The Prosecutor General’s Office reported that an 11-year-old child was injured, and a 68-year-old man was hospitalized in Kyiv oblast due to russian shelling. Private houses, farm buildings and cars of civilians were damaged due to falling debris. The Regional SES reported that 39 rescuers and 12 units of special equipment were involved in liquidation of the consequences of the russian attack.
The Ministry of Energy reported that as of June 2, the energy system is working stably, but as a result of the night shelling, power lines in Kyiv and the oblast were shut down. There is damage and technological violations due to the shelling.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with President of Estonia Alar Karis in Kyiv.They discussed the possibility of creating joint defense enterprises and involving Estonian specialists in demining Ukrainian territory.

KCSA reported that employees of the communal emergency and rescue service dismantled emergency structures in two nine-story buildings in Desnyanskyi district of Kyiv that were damaged by fragments of a russian rocket on the night of June 1. In particular, the rescuers dismantled the emergency window and balcony blocks and ebbs and flows of two high-rise buildings.
Vitalii Klychko, Mayor of Kyiv, announced that the City Council passed a decision on round-the-clock access to shelters. Its implementation will be monitored by all relevant services, and public activists will also be involved in access control.
Ukrainian judoka Daria Bilodid appealed to the International Judo Federation (IJF) over the death in the capital on June 1 of 9-year-old Victoria Ivashko and her mother as a result of russian shelling. “Today, the Grand Prix starts in Dushanbe, where judokas from russia will take part. Also today in Kyiv, a russian rocket killed the young judoka Victoria Ivashko and her mother. IJF, are you sure you’re doing it right?” says Bilodid’s message on Instagram.
The awarding ceremony of the 14th professional journalism competition Honor of the Profession is taking place in Kyiv. Hosts of this year’s ceremony are Dina Wong and Mykhailo Shamanov. These are journalists who could not stand aside and took up arms to defend their homeland. Zhytomyr oblast
The official opening of a kindergarten in Ovruch, the first facility rebuilt by Estonia in Zhytomyr oblast took place. The project was implemented as part of the program to restore the infrastructure destroyed by russian troops. The modern building was built in less than half a year and equipped with a shelter and everything necessary to host 160 children.
Zhytomyr RMA reported that three cars and relevant technical equipment were received by the employees of the Environmental Inspection of Polissia region during the visit of Margus Tsakhna, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Estonia, to Zhytomyr oblast. This will enable ecologists to establish the facts of pollution of the oblast, caused in particular by russian aggression.
In Zhytomyr oblast, law enforcement officials announced suspicion against the metropolitan and the secretary of the diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Investigative actions took place in the UOC dioceses of Ovrutsk-Korosten and Zhytomyr. During the searches, the investigators seized draft notes, leaflets, pamphlets calling for religious enmity and hatred. Printed materials of the publishing house of the Moscow Patriarchate, thanks and gifts from representatives of the clergy of the aggressor country were also found.
Sumy oblast
Sumy RMA reported that the russian forces carried out 15 shelling attacks. There were 100 explosions caused artillery and mortars. Bilopillia, Velika Pysarivka, Krasnopillia, Seredina-Buda and Yunakivka communities came under shelling. As a result of enemy shelling, 7 private residential buildings, 2 two-story buildings, farm buildings and buildings of non-working enterprises were damaged.
At night and in the morning, Bilopillia, Shalyhine, Znob-Novhorodske, Seredino-Buda and Yunakivka communities were under enemy shelling. 6 shelling attacks and a total of 17 explosions were recorded. In the Seredino-Buda community, a local resident was injured.
The regional SES reported that on June 1, rescuers extinguished a fire caused by an enemy strike in Shostka region. Commercial buildings and residences of citizens in the residential sector were on fire. Rescuers did not allow the fire to spread to a residential building located near the epicenter of the fire.

Residents of Sumy oblast submitted 367 applications as part of the state program of eRestoration for providing compensation for damage and destruction of housing due to russian aggression. As reported in Sumy RMA, as of June 1, 2023, data on damage to 3,887 objects, of which 3,509 are residential (2,549 buildings and 960 apartments) and 2,571 acts of commission and technical inspection, were entered into the Register.
Chernihiv oblast
In Chernihiv oblast, russian troops shelled the border settlements of Berylivka, Yanzhulivka, Khotiivka Yeline, Mykolaivka, Hremyach, Krasnyi Khutir, Halahanivka. As reported in the SBGS, a total of ten shelling attacks were recorded: 11 explosions of artillery shells, 52 explosions of 82 and 120 mm caliber mines, 60 shots from a grenade launcher, and 6 explosions from enemy airstrikes.
The ‘North’ Operational Command reported that the enemy continues the criminal tactics of shelling the Ukrainian border. There were 15 shots from barrel artillery in the area of the village of Leonivka and 40 shots from a mortar in the village of Yanzhulivka. The village council building was damaged by shelling.
The forest fire that started on May 13 after the shelling of the village of Bleshnia is still ongoing in the bordering Chernihiv oblast. Despite constant shelling from the enemy side, foresters and the unit of the State Emergency Service of Semenivka continue to restrain the fire, which spread towards the settlement of Liskivshchyna, which is 5 km from the border.

Viacheslav Chaus, Head of Chernihiv RMA, announced that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion in Chernihiv oblast, 22 children have been killed, 59 injured, 12 completely orphaned, thousands left without their homes or forced to flee from them, absolutely everyone lives in conditions of online education, shelters and anxiety.
The Children’s Service of Chernihiv oblast reported that despite difficult circumstances and challenges of today, the number of people willing to adopt a child has increased in the oblast. To date, 14 children have already been adopted by citizens of Ukraine, 10 adoption cases are pending.
World football stars and UNITED24 ambassadors Andrii Shevchenko and Oleksandr Zinchenko visited Mykhailo-Kotsiubinskyi Lyceum in Chernihiv oblast. They initiated the Game4Ukraine charity match, which will take place in London on August 5, 2023, to raise funds for the reconstruction of the Lyceum. On March 4, the russian military fired rockets into the lyceum, in the shelter of which about 100 people were hiding, a third of whom were children: the shelter survived, but the worker who was on the first floor was killed; 90% of the roof, the ceiling, classrooms of physics, computer science, and chemistry were destroyed.

Dnipropetrovsk oblast
According to Mykola Lukashuk, Head of the Regional Council, russians attacked Nikopol region. At night, the air alert in the area lasted for almost 8 hours. The occupiers’ heavy artillery terrorized Nikopol itself, the city was hit around midnight. In the afternoon, the enemy shelled Nikopol with artillery.
Vinnytsia oblast
According to Natalia Kosnitska, Head of the Down Syndrome NGO from Vinnytsia, a multifunctional space Different Opportunities – Equal Rights was opened for children with special educational needs in a secondary school in Vinnytsia. The facility is located in a shelter and includes three zones: a study area, a game room, and a kitchen.
Kirovohrad oblast
According to Svitlana Zhyvaha, Deputy Head of the RMA children’s service, 47 children from institutional care and education facilities have returned to Kirovohrad oblast from Poland. They had been in evacuation since 1 March 2022.
Poltava oblast
In Poltava, a modular town for internally displaced persons was set up in one of the regional medical institutions. There are modular houses, two playgrounds, one sports court, and four wooden gazebos.
Cherkasy oblast
According to Ihor Taburets, Head of Cherkasy State Administration, air defense forces were on alert in Cherkasy oblast during the night air raid.
In Cherkasy, a festival called “I Know, I Can, I Will” was organized for the families of the fallen and missing defenders. They learnt how to provide first aid and experienced the role of rescuers.

Zaporizhzhia oblast
Yurii Malashko, Head of the Regional Military Administration, reported that the russian forces launched 111 attacks on 22 towns and villages in the oblast. There were airstrikes on Novodanylivka and Poltavka, three UAV attacks on Stepove and Kamianske, 15 MLRS attacks on Temyrivka, Zatyshshia, Chervona Krynytsia, Gulyaypol, Kamianske, 91 artillery attacks on Huliaipole, Orikhove, Preobrazhenka, Chervone, Plavni, Stepnohirsk, Malynivka, and other frontline settlements. A russian shell hit a residential building, killing a 68-year-old resident of Huliaipole. A family was injured in Plavni during the shelling: a 35-year-old man and a 60-year-old woman were hospitalized with mine-blast injuries. There were 31 destructions of residential buildings and property.
Viktoria Halitsina, Head of the city’s military administration, reported that there were explosions in the temporarily occupied Berdiansk, where Ukrainian defenders struck russian positions in the afternoon.
Berdiansk city military administration said that, according to preliminary data, ships that had recently entered the port to steal Ukrainian grain and metal were fleeing the port.
Mykolaiv oblast
According to the RMA, at night, air defense forces and means destroyed an enemy Shahed-136 attack UAV in Mykolaiv oblast. On June 2, at 10:59 and 11:31 the russian military launched artillery strikes on the waters of Ochakiv community. There were no casualties. At 16:30, two settlements of Kutsurub community came under fire. Residential buildings were damaged. There were no casualties.
The russian occupiers from the seized Kinburn Spit do not stop shelling the waters of the Dnipro-Bug estuary towards Ochakiv and Kutsurub community. This is done to prevent Mykolaiv ports from being included in the “grain initiative”.
The head of the RMA said that in Mykolaiv oblast, 288 K hectares of agricultural land are subject to survey or demining, 85 K is the plan for this year, of which more than 51 K have already been demined or surveyed,” said. 48 pyrotechnic groups, 21 humanitarian demining groups and 79 units of equipment are operating.
Odessa oblast
The ‘South’ Operational Command reported that the level of missile threat in Odesa oblast remains extremely high. Continuing to escalate tensions and looking for effective tactics of terrorizing the population, the enemy is maneuvering forces and means in the Black Sea. In the evening, the number of missile carriers on combat duty was once again increased: the Admiral Essen frigate went to sea. As of six o’clock in the evening, two underwater and two surface missile carriers were on guard in the Black Sea, the total volley of which can reach up to twenty-four Kalibr missiles.
The russian occupiers are blocking the work of ports in Odesa oblast, stopping operations and artificially creating obstacles. They are applying terror tactics towards Mykolaiv.
On June 2, representatives of the Italian National Higher Institute of Civil Defense visited Odesa on a humanitarian mission and brought an ambulance and medical supplies, including those needed for surgeries.
An exhibition and auction of children’s drawings in support of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was held in Odesa. Students of a creative studio made patriotic origami and drawings to save wounded soldiers. The cost of one work starts at UAH 300. All the money will be transferred to the Monster Corporation Foundation to buy turnstiles for our military.
Kherson oblast
On June 1, the head of the Regional Military Administration reported that the russian army fired 81 times at Kherson oblast. They fired 381 shells from artillery, MLRSs, mortars, drones, and aircraft. The shells hit the buildings of social and critical infrastructure in the Kherson and Beryslav regions. The enemy attacked Kherson 9 times, firing 38 shells at the city. The regional police reported that 16 people were wounded, including 6 police officers.
The General Staff reported that towards Kherson,the russian army conducted air strikes on Beryslav, Kozatske, Otradokamianka and fired at Zmiivka, Vesele, Ivanivka, Inhulets, Sadove, Antonivka, Zelenivka, Dniprovske, Kizomys, and Kherson on June 1.
The RMA reported that the russian troops shelled the village of Chereshenky of Bilozerka community. Farm buildings and agricultural machinery were damaged. There were no casualties or injuries.
The RMA reported that russian forces launched an airstrike on Kozatske with two guided aerial bombs. Odradokamianka was also attacked, where the village council, post office, and cemetery were damaged.
The General Staff reported that the russian occupiers have set a deadline of September 1, 2023 for residents of the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson oblast to obtain a russian passport. In case of refusal, they threaten to cut off electricity supply, confiscate property, forcibly evict them from their homes or deport them.
The RMA reported that volunteers from the Lithuanian organization of the Crown of Princes Ostrozky Charitable Foundation brought modern, environmentally friendly, and durable chairs, benches, beds, and tables that can be assembled and disassembled without nails to equip Kherson shelters.
In total, deminers examined 44,575 hectares of territory in the de-occupied Kherson region, including 38,465.4 hectares of agricultural land. Almost 73.6 thousand explosive devices were found and neutralized in these areas.
The RMA reported that representatives of Doctors Without Borders continue to work in Kherson oblast. Medical teams visited Davydiv Brid, Velyka Oleksandrivka, Bobrovyi Kut, and Trudolyubivka, and examined 89 patients.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast
The 10th separate mountain assault brigade Edelveis from Ivano-Frankivsk oblast received tactical medical backpacks from the Blau-Gelbes-Kreuz e.V. German CF.
Children from the number of IDPs and socially vulnerable population groups living in Ivano-Frankivsk oblast received 32 tablets from the International Organization for Migration. In total, the oblast will receive 150 tablets.
Lviv oblast
The RMA held a meeting with representatives of the Institutional and Political Reform of Small-Scale Agriculture in Ukraine (IPRSA) European Union Project and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). They discussed support for the agricultural industry of Lviv oblast.
The RMA held a meeting with representatives of the PASS American strategic consulting company. They discussed attracting American investments to developLviv oblast.
The RMA reported that beekeepers and research institutes in the field of beekeeping in the oblast can receive financial assistance from Slovenia. Applications will be accepted until July 31.
Urban Camp Lviv, a new center for IDPs, which will also develop and promote street cultures, has opened in Lviv. The center is part of the CREATE! network of youth spaces, which was established by Street Culture X Urban Reform, with the support of the Danish public organization of street cultures GAME.
Rivne oblast
The RMA reported that the Integration Space project for IDPs was presented in Rivne. The hub with multifunctional services will be operational in the fall.
Ternopil oblast
Denys Shmyhal, Prime Minister of Ukraine, announced that the government directed UAH 14 million to Ternopil oblast to finance the maintenance of evacuee children in orphanages.
Khmelnytskyi oblast
The RMA held a meeting with representatives of the UN World Food Program (WFP). They discussed humanitarian support and the needs of IDPs in the oblast.
Chernivtsi oblast
The RMA held a meeting with Ellen Kramer, Head of the office of the World Food Program (WFP) in Lviv. Assistance to IDPs in the oblast was discussed.
Mobile groups of employees of the National Police Headquarters in Chernivtsi oblast, the Main Directorate of Emergency Situations in Chernivtsi oblast, and local self-government bodies were created in Chernivtsi oblast to inspect all civil defense facilities without exception. By the end of the week, they should inspect the objects and identify problems and shortcomings.
Almost UAH 12 million have been allocated to Bukovina from the state budget to pay off financial compensation for the necessary living quarters for 5 families of IDPs who applied for state protection.
Dmytro Babinskyi, master of sports of international class, bronze medalist of the 2022 MMA World Championship in mixed martial arts, who is currently at the front, was awarded with the 3th For Courage Order.
International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)
Ukraine will receive an EU grant of over €50 million to support critical infrastructure and build temporary bridges.
Ukrzaliznytsia signed a grant agreement with the European Investment Bank (EIB) to “support the company’s activities during russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine.” As part of the agreement, Ukrzaliznytsia will receive €6.7 million.

Members of the European Parliament approved a plan to increase the amount of ammunition for Ukraine. The plan aims to speed up the supply of ammunition and missiles to Ukraine and help EU member states replenish their arsenals.

Canada imposed sanctions on Moldova’s pro-russian politicians for “involving the country in the war against Ukraine”.
The Canadian-Ukrainian Foundation (CUF) and the Shevchenko Foundation (TSF) have announced a new scholarship for students who had to leave Ukraine because of the war and are pursuing higher education in Canada. CUF’s seed grant of $300K will allow 60 successful applicants to receive $5K each toward post-graduation.
