It has been the 657th day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression. 

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 6 pm:   

The russian federation continues to wage a war of aggression. Despite significant losses, it does not abandon its plans for the complete occupation of Ukraine. The enemy continues to violate the laws and customs of war, uses terror tactics, conducts strikes, and shells both military and civilian targets.

The operational situation in eastern and southern Ukraine remains difficult.

There were 73 combat engagements.

The enemy launched a total of 1 missile strike, 3 air strikes and 38 MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and various settlements. The russian terrorist attacks have resulted in civilian casualties and injuries. Private residential buildings as well as other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.

Towards Volyn and Polissia, there were no significant changes and no signs of formation of an offensive group. Certain units of the armed forces of belarus continue their missions in the areas bordering Ukraine.

Towards Siversk and Sloboda, the enemy maintains its military presence in the areas of russia bordering Ukraine. The enemy continues its sabotage and reconnaissance activities, shelling Ukrainian settlements from the territory of russia and increases the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine. Around 15 settlements came under enemy artillery and mortar fire, including Popivka, Chernihiv oblast, Seredyna-Buda, Veselivka, Sumy oblast, Chervona Zoria, Kozacha Lopan, Lukiantsi, Zelene, Kharkiv oblast.

Towards Kupiansk, Ukrainian defenders repelled 8.enemy attacks in the vicinity of Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, Kharkiv oblast. The invaders fired from artillery and mortar at around 10 settlements, including Dvorichna, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Kupiansk, Ivanivka, Berestove, Kharkiv oblast.

Towards Lyman, the Ukrainian defense forces repelled 2 attacks in the vicinity of Makiivka, Donetsk oblast. The occupiers fired from artillery and mortars at around 10 settlements, including Nevske, Bilohorivka, Serebrianske foorestry, Luhansk oblast, Torske, Serebrianka, Verkhniokamianske, Donetsk oblast)l.

Towards Bakhmut, Ukrainian defenders repelled 4 attacks near Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, Andriivka, Donetsk oblast. Around 10 settlements, including Vasiukivka, Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Klischiivka, Andriivka, New York, Donetsk oblast, came under artillery and mortar fire.

Towards Avdiivka, Ukrainian defenders repelled 37 attacks in the area east of Novokalynove, east of Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, Avdiivka, south of Sjeverne, south of Tonenke, Pervomaiske and Nevelske, Donetsk oblast, where the enemy was making unsuccessful attempts to breach Ukrainian defenses. The enemy fired artillery and mortars at over 10 settlements, including Sukha Balka, Keramik, Stepove, Avdiivka, Pervomaiske, Nevelske, Donetsk oblast.

Towards Mariinka, Ukrainian defense forces continue to hold back the enemy in the vicinity of Novomykhailivka, Donetsk oblast, where the enemy launched 10 failed attacks at the positions of Ukrainian defenders. The settlements of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Mariinka, Pobieda, Novomykhailivka, Paraskoviivka, Donetsk oblast were under occupiers, artillery and mortar fire.

Towards Shakhtarsk, they conducted no offensives. Around 10 settlements, including Vodyane, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, Urozhaine, Donetsk oblast, came under artillery and mortar fire.

Towards Zaporizhzhia, the Ukrainian defense forces repelled 4 enemy attacks north of Pryiutne and west of Verbove, Zaporizhzhia oblast. Over 20 settlements, including Novodanylivka, Orikhiv, Novoandriivka, Mali Scherbaky, Piatykhatky, Plavni, Zaporizhzhia oblast came under artillery and mortar fire.

Towards Kherson, the enemy fired artillery at the settlements of Ivanivka, Vysoke, Antonivka, Veletenske, Kherson oblast, the cities of Kherson and Ochakiv, Mykolaiv oblast.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold their ground on the left bank of the Dnipro River, Kherson oblast and inflict fire on the enemy.

The Ukrainian Air Force launched 1 strike on a buildup of troops, weapons and military equipment of the russian invaders.

Ukrainian missile troops hit 1 command post, 2 strikes on the buildup of troops, weapons and military equipment, 1 ammunition depot of the occupiers.


About 350 Ukrainians received the title of Hero of Ukraine during the full-scale war with the russian federation. At the same time, the exact number is unknown, because several decrees on awarding the award were secret.  The StratCom of the Armed Forces of Ukraine added that, in general, over the past two years, almost twice as many Ukrainians have received the title of Hero than in 2014-2021, and more than in all previous years of Independence.

Zaluzhnyi, Syrsky and Umerov presented awards to the military.  They congratulated the soldiers and the commander of the Ground Forces, Colonel-General Syrsky, on the Day of the Ground Forces, together with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Zaluzhny.  Awards were presented. In addition, they discussed the situation in the Eastern direction and key needs of Ukrainian soldiers to effectively destroy the enemy.

On the border with Belarus, the engineering units of the State Border Service of Ukraine are actively installing various types of engineering barriers. Anti-tank ditches are being dug and concrete pyramids are being installed, and reinforced concrete, metal-mesh and barbed wire fences of the Yegoza type are also being built.  In addition, in cooperation with units of the Defense Forces, mine and explosive defense continues to be increased in the directions under threat.

Kyivstar services collapsed due to a powerful hacker attack. It caused a technical failure, as a result of which mobile communication and Internet access became temporarily unavailable.  The main thing is that personal data of subscribers is not compromised.  The Kyivstar company apologized for the temporary inconvenience.

Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

Volodymyr Fito, Head of public relations of the Ground Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reported that russian tank and seven armoured were destroyed in this area of the frontline. The enemy is gathering reserve assault units to continue their offensive attempts. Over the day, 10 attacks were repelled towards Lyman-Kupiansk. Due to the difficult weather conditions, the enemy used only seven kamikaze drones. The invaders attacked 304 times from artillery and mortars. The Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated 189 invaders and destroyed 17 units of enemy equipment. Specifically, a tank, five BMP-1 and two BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicles.

Kharkiv oblast

Oleh Syniehubov, Head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported that a 73-year-old civilian was killed as a result of hostile artillery shelling of Kupiansk. Another 79-year-old resident sustained shrapnel wounds and was hospitalised. Windows and fences in residential buildings were destroyed. 

More than 19 settlements in Kharkiv oblast were under enemy artillery and mortar attacks: Okhrimivka, Vovchansk, Budarky of Chuhuiv region Pletenivka, Dvorichna, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, Berestove of Kupiansk region and others.

A household building was on fire as a result of hostile shelling of Kupiansk at around 6:10 pm. There were no casualties.

Around 9:43 pm, a five-storey apartment building was damaged as a result of shelling in Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi. There were no casualties. Preliminary, russian army used a KAB. 

The Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled 4 enemy attacks near Synkivka and north-west of Petropavlivka. 

Pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service examined more than 3.4 hectares of territory and defused 69 explosive ordnance.

Two areas remain the most dangerous in the region: towards Lyman of Izium region and towards Kupiansk, where the enemy is trying to conduct more active offensive actions. There are discussions about continuing forced evacuation. About 300 children live in the most dangerous communities of Kupiansk region, close to the frontline.

Donetsk oblast

The press service of Donetsk police informed that law enforcers documented 9 violations of the laws and customs of war. During the day, russian troops shelled 5 settlements. There was no information about casualties. The invaders attacked Kurakhove, Toretsk cities, Pivnichne, Netailove and Novoselivka Persha settlements. 14 residential buildings and vehicles were damaged.

According to Donetsk Regional Military Administration, towards Donetsk, russians shelled Kurakhove twice. The industrial area and the private sector were hit.

Towards Horlivka, 12 buildings were damaged in Toretsk community: 10 in Toretsk and 2 in Pivnichne. In Chasiv Yar community, 2 apartment buildings and 2 private buildings were damaged. In Soledar community, Minkivka and Rozdolivka were under attack.

Towards Lysychansk, a building community was damaged in Serebrianka of Siversk and Lyman community shelled 5 times.

Luhansk oblast

According to Luhansk Regional Military Administration, a powerful generator, hygiene products and food were delivered to Novoliubivka. They are distributed to each resident of the settlement.

Nevske and Bilohorivka were under enemy mortar and artillery attacks yesterday.

The number of deserters among the locals in the so-called “luhansk people’s republic” is increasing. Specifically, over the past two months alone, the “people’s police of lpr” announced about 800 people  wanted.

The modular boilers, installed by the invaders in the apartment buildings of Sievierodonetsk they have chosen, do not heat the city. They can only maintain the heating system, protecting it from freezing. 

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

Kyiv RMA reported that due to a hacker attack and a disruption in the work of “Kyivstar”, the air danger warning system is not working in 9 communities of the Boryspil region. There are also point disconnections of the notification system in the city of Boryspil and another 75 settlements. The “Air Alarm” signal in these settlements is duplicated by another warning system. There are also Points of Invincibility, equipped with Wi-Fi access points, where people can connect to the Internet.

Kyiv Regional Military Administration reported that a multi-story residential building in Hostomel that was damaged as a result of hostilities in the spring of 2022 is being restored at the expense of the Consequences of Aggression Liquidation Fund. Before the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the russians, 144 families lived in it, today more than 250 people live there.

Kyiv Mayor Vitaly Klychko said that 20 internally displaced persons received warrants for new apartments for temporary residence in the capital. These are families from Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions. In particular, families with many children, as well as those families that raise children with disabilities, where children were injured as a result of military operations or whose housing was destroyed or damaged.

Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported that the number of people in the capital is almost the same as it was before the full-scale invasion – 3.5-3.6 million inhabitants. About half a million of them are displaced persons. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, about 289,000 internally displaced persons have been registered in the capital, including almost 57,000 children.

The mayor of Bila Tserkva, Gennady Dykiy, received the award of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine – the badge “For the assistance of the army”. According to the mayor, during the year the community provided half a billion hryvnias to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. These funds were directed to the 72nd Black Zaporozhian Brigade, the 1129th Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment of Bila Tserkva, as well as other military units.

Bucha city council reported that the city received humanitarian aid from the municipality of Luxembourg. The partners handed over 100 computer monitors and 70 projectors to the Bucha community. The equipment will be distributed among educational institutions, depending on their needs.

Zhytomyr oblast

The Regional Emergency Service reported that IDPs continue to arrive in Zhytomyr oblast from regions where active hostilities are taking place. On December 11, another train arrived in Berdychev with 19 evacuees from Donetsk oblast, including three children, including one with a disability. IDPs were transported to places of temporary residence in the territories of Zvyagel, Berdychiv and Zhytomyr regions.

In the Hryshkivtsi community, a new home is being built as a family-type orphanage for a family of migrants. As reported in the Berdychiv Regional Military Administration, the building will be fully inclusive and energy efficient. It is also planned to provide the family with new furniture and household appliances. An important element of security will be the installation of an underground modular concrete shelter on the territory of the homestead.

Sumy oblast

Sumy RMA reported that three border communities of the oblast were under enemy shelling. A total of 15 explosions were recorded: 4 mortar strikes on the territory of the Velyka Pysarivka community; 11 artillery strikes on the territory of the Bilopillia community; the russians shelled the Esman community with small arms.

During the past day, the enemy carried out 18 attacks on 8 territorial communities of Sumy oblast. The communities of Krasnopillia, Yunakivka, Khotyn, Velyka Pysarivka, Seredina-Buda, Esman, Znob-Novhorodske and Druzhbivka were under enemy shelling. 70 explosions were recorded – the enemy attacked with MLRS, mortars, artillery, AGS and small arms. On the territory of the Krasnopillia community, it was recorded that 4 explosive devices of the VOG type were dropped from a UAV.

Sumy city council informed that due to a failure in the work of the operator “Kyivstar”, the notification system will temporarily not work on the territory of the territorial community. Alerting the community during the air alert will be carried out by patrol police and emergency services.

The State Agency for Reconstruction and Development of Infrastructure reported that the reconstruction of the polyclinic in Trostyanets, which is visited by about 400 patients every day, is in progress. The medical facility was damaged during the russian occupation.

Representatives of the Chernobyl organization “Together” delivered humanitarian aid to residents of the Khotyn community living in a 2-kilometer zone from the border. The products were purchased at the expense of Canadian residents, which they collected specifically for Ukrainians living in the front-line zone.

Chernihiv oblast

Over the past 24 hours, russian troops have fired 30 mortar strikes on the border of Chernihiv Oblast. As reported by the SBGS, the Semenivka community was under enemy shelling – the enemy fired 30 mortar strikes in the vicinity of the village Klyusy.

In Chernihiv oblast, two “Beehives” educational centers, which were created by the savED charitable foundation as part of the “U-LEAD with Europe” Program project, have started working in test mode. Every day, in these locations, schoolchildren of all ages will have the opportunity to develop, study online, play board games and use gadgets. They will not only absorb information, but also develop skills in media literacy, STEM education, and more.

The first mobile shelter in Chernihiv was installed at the public transport stop on Drozda Street. In such a shelter, up to 15 people can protect themselves from shrapnel. The production and delivery of the shelter was financed by benefactors from Odesa.

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

Air Command East reported that in the evening defenders destroyed an enemy drone above the region. They shot down Shahed in Synelnykove district. 

The occupiers attacked Nikopol district twice with artillery. In the evening they hit Pokrovsk community and closer to night they hit Marganets community. There were no casualties.

After the tragedy that happened almost a year ago when a russian missile hit a residential building in Peremoha was made a decision to pay financial aid to people. At the beginning of December financial assistance of UAH 300 K for a total of UAH 53.4 million from the regional budget funds was provided to relatives of 178 civilians who were killed as a result of the russian military aggression. Also UAH 65.7 million were paid to 220 residents of a building in Peremoha for damaged and destroyed property. These funds the Dnipro city budget received from the regional budget as a subvention. Mykola Lukashuk, Head of RMA announced that at the 18th session of the regional council the comprehensive program of the region’s population social protection was extended. According to the program funds for 2024 are also set aside to support families affected by russian aggression.

Vinnytsia oblast

Another batch of aid – unmanned aircraft complex and five thousand chemical heaters was sent to the military. The aid was organized by the coordinators of the Interregional Coordination Humanitarian Headquarters together with Vinnytsia City Council. As mentioned the coordinators the unmanned aircraft complex was developed and manufactured in Ukraine. This is a powerful item for defenders that will help them scout areas and perform the most difficult combat tasks. The hand warmers will help the defenders to warm up in harsh weather.

Psychologists work with all medics who return from the war zone to Vinnytsia. Depending on the situation, various methods of recovery and therapy are used: from speleotherapy to psychotherapist sessions. Victoria Koshalko, psychologist, reports that professional burnout occurs because there is a lot of work and little time for rest. There are 4 stages: enthusiasm, fatigue, exhaustion and burnout itself. In the first two stages you can still manage on your own, dividing your time between work and leisure. But for the third the help of psychologists is necessary.

Kirovohrad oblast

RMA reported that at night during a drone attack by the russian occupiers anti-aircraft system shot down a Shahed-131/136 UAV above Kirovohrad region.

Poltava oblast

One of Kherson region communities can receive financial assistance from Poltava community budget. The issue should be agreed at the session and in the Ministry of Finance. It was considered on December 12 at a meeting of the standing  commission on economy policy, communal property, budget and finances of Poltava City Council. According to the draft decision the transfer amount from Poltava community budget is UAH 11 million.

Cherkasy oblast

Ihor Taburets, Head of RMA announced that a russian Shahed was shot down in Uman region at night. There were no casualties or damage.

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast

According to Zaporizhzhia RMA, the russian army carried out 74 strikes on the towns and villages of Zaporizhzhia oblast over the past day, 11 December. Seven unmanned aerial vehicles attacked Gulyaypole, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne and Luhivske. It shelled Orikhiv, Levadne, Bilohirya, Novodarivka, Poltavka, Malynivka, Pyatikhatky, Plavni, and Kamianske 66 times with artillery.

Mykolaiv oblast

On December 11, one russian “Shahed-131/136” UAV  was intercepted in Mykolaiv oblast. Additionally, russian forces conducted strikes on Ochakiv and the coastal area of Kutsurub community.

The Ministry of Health has received a donation of seven ambulances from the Embassy of Switzerland in Ukraine. Among the regions that will receive these vehicles is Mykolaiv oblast. This provision aims to enhance the evacuation capabilities for the injured and ill individuals in these areas, facilitating the efficient response of medical personnel.

On December 12, a modular medical-diagnostic center spanning 500 square meters and valued at 60 million hryvnias was inaugurated in Berezanka settlement. The establishment of this center was spearheaded by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). Designed to accommodate up to 200 patients daily, it aims to provide essential healthcare services. Additionally, four similar centers are under construction in different regions across Ukraine.

Odesa oblast

The Southern Defense Forces in Odesa oblast confirmed that on December 12 (night), they successfully intercepted and took down two “Shahed-131/136” drones launched by the russian forces. The russian military launched the “Shahed” drones from the Balaklava area in occupied Crimea to attack Ukraine.

As per the Regional Prosecutor’s Office report, on December 11 at approximately 9:00 p.m., the russian forces conducted an attack using UAVs targeting civilian infrastructure in Odesa oblast. The attack resulted in significant damage to administrative buildings and technical facilities of a private sports institution. Currently there are conducting inspections to assess the full extent of the destruction.

In Odesa, the demolition process of a residential building on Primorska Street was initiated due to substantial damage incurred during the russian shelling of the city on July 23. The decision to dismantle the building was made during a meeting of the City Council Executive Committee, with plans to complete the process by the end of December.

The information about the reopening of the Odesa art museum on December 15 following the damages it sustained during the russian attack on November 5 was shared through the museum’s Instagram page. The reopening will commence with a cave tour, while subsequent weekend days will feature guided tours of the “Sol Occidens” exhibition by Roman and Margit Selsky and a series of exhibitions titled “Languages of War.”

Kherson oblast

Tyaginka in the Kherson oblast was shelled by the Russian army, resulting in a 50-year-old man being wounded in his own home.

Kherson RMA reported that russian forces once again shelled Kherson during midday. This attack caused significant damage to the facade and roof of an educational institution, destroying the building.

In the morning, the city center of Kherson was shelled by russian forces, injuring two local residents. The Stanislav town also suffered damage, including a farm and power lines. No casualties were reported. 

The attack on a critical infrastructure site in Kherson oblast community left nine thousand consumers without access to electricity and water.

Alexander Prokudin, Head of the Kherson RMA, reported that on December 11, the russian army launched 125 attacks on Kherson oblast. Residential buildings in various localities were damaged, including a dormitory and administrative building in Kherson. Unfortunately, one person lost their life, and four others were injured in these attacks.

UNHCR Ukraine, the United Nations Refugee Agency in Ukraine, provided winter clothing, footwear, blankets, pillows, mattresses, bed linen, and solar-powered lamps to the affected residents of Stanislav and Kherson.

Fifteen children from Berislavsky district, constantly impacted by russian shelling, are set to undergo psychological rehabilitation at the Kyiv Children’s Medical Center of Psychological Rehabilitation “Dzherelo.” Alongside therapeutic sessions, these children will engage in recreational programs and tours across key locations in Kyiv. This initiative is made possible through the support of the Charitable Foundation “Center for Interaction “Save Ukraine”.

Volyn oblast

Lutsk City Council has prepared a batch of aid for the military in the amount of about UAH 25 million. The military received 4 cars, 49 DJI MAVIC 3, 32 DJI MAVIC 3T, 2 DJI MAVIC 3E, 100 FPV drones, 10 Motorola radio stations, 60 batteries for Motorola walkie-talkies, 8 Starlink for the car, 2 EcoFlow, 6 BLUETTI PowerOak charging stations, 10 raincoats -ponchos, 12 RADIOMASTER BOXER remote controls, 10 portable diesel heaters, an iRay thermal imager, 10 Starlink Ethernet adapters, 8 DJI MATRICE 30 TB30 intelligent batteries, 50 Victovice propane-butane gas cylinders, 150 thermal blankets and tools.

Zakarpattia oblast

Representatives of Slovak national community of Zakarpattia published an open appeal to Charles Michel, Head of the European Council, and Robert Fico, Prime Minister of Slovakia. They appealed to support the decision to open negotiations on Ukraine’s membership in the EU during the meeting of the European Council, which will be held on December 14-15, 2023.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

12 people from families of the killed and missing will receive monthly payments in the amount of the subsistence minimum. Since the beginning of the year, 389 people from families who lost relatives in the war have received such assistance from the city budget.

Lviv oblast

The RMA held a meeting with Will Roising, operational director of the Dutch organization Health Net TPO, and representatives of the HOPE UA CF. They discussed the process of financing the center for social rehabilitation of children in Zhuravno. The project is planned to be implemented in the next 2 years.

The RMA held a meeting with Marino Fardelli, Ombudsman of Italy and Lazio region. They discussed cooperation between Italy and Ukraine in the field of civil protection.

A round table Medical Lviv Oblast – Zahysnytsia was held. They discussed possibilities for developing an effective, comfortable and adapted to the needs of the defenders of the mechanism of providing medical assistance.

4 ambulances and an evacuation vehicle were sent to the military thanks to the Smart Medical Aid CF within the framework of the 100 ambulances for Ukraine project.

A psychological first aid training was held for clergy in Strii thanks to the Comprehensive Program of Mental Health Protection and Psychosocial Support of the Civilian Population in Lviv oblast for 2023-2026.

Volunteers from Norway visited Pustomyt community and brought clothes and blankets for the soldiers. Aid will be transferred to the front line. Rehabilitation equipment and a generator were sent to the local hospital.

THE RMA reported that for the fire and rescue unit of Boryslav community, volunteers from the Meckenheim Help union donated a passenger car and sets of combat clothing.

The exhibition (In)Visible Stories about IDPs is ongoing in Lviv. The photo project tells the stories of 9 people who survived capture, deportation, sexual violence caused by war, or were forced to leave their homes in temporarily occupied territories.

Rivne oblast

Rivne rescuers received a car from the city of Zabrze.

In Rivne oblast, work on the equipment of shelters is ongoing. Construction and major repairs at various stages. Currently, the construction of 6 school storage facilities is being completed.

Ternopil oblast

The RMA held a joint coordination meeting of the Cluster on Protection of the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees in Ukraine, the Cluster on Management and Coordination of Temporary Residence Places and international non-governmental organizations on strengthening the coordination of humanitarian response in Ternopil oblast. They discussed the current situation of work with IDPs in the oblast.

Ternopil volunteer Khrystina Fetsitsa received the Golden Heart award from the President of Ukraine. Khrystina Fetsitsa is volunteer, director of the Charitable Fund Logistics Center for Aid to ATO/OO Fighters CF. Since 2014, the volunteer has been helping Ukrainian defenders, independently delivering necessary items to the most dangerous places.

In Ternopil, a memorial tablet was opened to Mykhailo Levkiv, Defender Hero from Ternopil. The memorial sign was symbolically placed on the facade of the building, which houses the social policy department of Ternopil City Council. Hero worked here before joining the ranks of the Armed Forces

Khmelnytskyi oblast

The people of Khmelnytskyi collected over 300 gifts, which went to the front. The campaign in support of the military was announced by the Defense – Association of Volunteers public organization. Who during the month collected the most necessary.

Chernivtsi oblast

The US Agency for International Development implements a Program in Ukraine to ensure the sustainability of the energy sector. Provide support up to $700 mln. RTI International and Miyamoto International Ukraine are working on the implementation of the Securing Power, Advancing Resilience & Connectivity (SPARC) Activity Program.

The United Kingdom will help Ukraine restore forests and national parks damaged by the war. At the COP28 COP28 Climate Summit in Dubai, Ruslan Strelets, Minister of Environment and Natural Resources, and Steve Barkley, Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs of Great Britain signed the relevant Memorandum of Cooperation. According to the forecasts of ecologists, it will take at least 80 years to restore the burnt forests of Ukraine.
