It has been the 655th day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression. 

What happened in Ukraine today:

The russian federation continues to wage its war of aggression. Despite significant losses, it has not abandoned its plans to fully occupy Ukrainian territory. The enemy continues to violate the laws and customs of war, uses terror tactics, strikes and shells both military and civilian objects.

The operational situation in the east and the south of Ukraine remains complex. 

There were 82 combat engagements.

The enemy launched 2 missiles and 33 air strikes, 29 MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and various settlements. The russian terrorist attacks have wounded civilians. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed or damaged.

Towards Volyn and Polissia, there were no significant changes and no signs of formation of an offensive group. Certain units of the armed forces of belarus continue their missions in the areas bordering Ukraine.

Towards Siversk and Sloboda, the enemy maintains its military presence in the areas of russia bordering Ukraine. They continue sabotage and reconnaissance activities, shelling Ukrainian settlements from the territory of russia and increase the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine. The enemy fired artillery and mortars at around 25 settlements, including Khrinivka, Klyusy, Arkhypivka, Chernihiv oblast, Seredyna-Buda, Prohres, Druzhba, Kruzhok, Hrabovske, Popivka, Sumy oblast, Kozacha Lopan, Hrafske, Vovchansk, Bochkove, and Budarky, Kharkiv oblast.

Towards Kupiansk, Ukrainian defenders repelled 4 enemy attacks in the vicinity of Synkivka and Petropavlivka, Kharkiv oblast. They launched air strikes in the vicinities of Petropavlivka, Kharkiv oblast and Tverdokhlibove, Luhansk oblast. The invaders fired from artillery and mortar at around 10 settlements, including Dvorichna, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, and Berestove, Kharkiv oblast.

Towards Lyman, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 5 enemy attacks in the vicinity of Terny, Vesele, Donetsk oblast, and Makiivka, Luhansk oblast. The enemy launched air strikes in the vicinity of Makiivka and Serebrianske forestry, Luhansk oblast. The enemy fired from artillery and mortar at around 10 settlements, including Nevske, Bilohorivka, Luhansk oblast, Torskw, Serebrianka, Verkhniokamianske, Spirne, and Rozdolivka, Donetsk oblast.

Towards Bakhmut, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 11 attacks of the adversary in the vicinities of Hryhorivka, Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, and Andriivka, Donetsk oblast. They launched air strikes in the vicinity of settlements of Chasiv Yar and Toretsk, Donetsk oblast. Around 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Markove, Bohdanivka, Klishchiivka, Andriivka, and New York, Donetsk oblast.

Towards Avdiivka, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 39 attacks of the enemy in the areas east of Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, Avdiivka, south of Sjeverne, Tonenke, and Pervomaiske, Donetsk oblast. The enemy made unsuccessful attempts to break through the defense of Ukrainian troops in this area. They launched air strikes in the vicinity of settlements of Kalynove, Ocheretyne, Novopokrovske, and Avdiivka, Donetsk oblast. The enemy fired artillery and mortars at around 15 settlements, including Keramik, Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, Avdiivka, Karlivka, Pervomaiske, and Nevelske, Donetsk oblast.

Towards Mariinka, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the vicinity of Mariinka and Novomykhailivka, Donetsk oblast. With the air support, the enemy launched 14 unsuccessful attacks on the positions of Ukrainian defenders. The settlements of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Mariinka, Pobieda, and Novomykhailivka, Donetsk oblast were under artillery and mortar the occupiers’ fire.

Towards Shakhtarsk, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled all enemy attacks. The invaders attempted to force Ukrainian troops out of their positions in the areas south east of Vuhledar, Donetsk oblast. Around 10 settlements, including Vodyane, Vuhledar, Zolota Nyva, Urozhaine, and Rivnopil, Donetsk oblast, came under artillery and mortar fire.

Towards Zaporizhzhia, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 3 enemy attacks in the vicinity of Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia oblast. Over 20 settlements, including Levadne, Malynivka, Verkhnya Tersa, Charivne, Novoandriivka, and Kamianske, Zaporizhzhia oblast, came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.

Towards Kherson, the enemy artillery shelled Tyahynka, Ivanivka, Antonivka, the city of Kherson, Kherson oblast, and Ochakiv, Mykolaiv oblast.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to hold positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River and shell the enemy.

The Ukrainian rocket troops and artillery hit 3 buildups of troops, weapons, and military equipment, and 1 ammunition depots of russian invaders.

12 people were evacuated from the shelter at the Avdiivka Coke Chemical Plant. Psychologists are working with them now.

The operation to rescue Ukrainians from the Gaza Strip was successfully completed. 315 people were taken away from the danger zone: 304 Ukrainians, 2 Palestinians and 9 citizens of Moldova

Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

Kharkiv oblast

Volodymyr Fito, Head of public relations of the Ground Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reported that the number of russian attacks towards Lyman-Kupiansk on 9 December was lower due to weather conditions and russian drones, that were launched into the air, immediately froze. Lyman-Kupiansk direction was shelled with artillery almost 400 times in 24 hours.

Kharkiv State Emergency Service said that on the morning of 10 December, russia attacked Kurylivka, Kupiansk region. Rescuers extinguished the fire after the morning shelling. The shelling damaged four garages. A fire broke out in one of the garage boxes on an area of 6 square metres. There were no casualties.

There was a picket in Kharkiv of the wives and relatives of Ukrainian defenders captured in Mariupol.  It was organised to remind Kharkiv residents and the whole of Ukraine about the Azov men who have been in russian captivity for over 1.5 years. It should be noted that some of the defenders of Ukraine have already returned home but more than 1,900 remain in captivity, including about 700 soldiers of the Azov regiment.

Oleh Syniehubov, Head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, informed that   over 22 settlements in the region were hit with artillery and mortar fire yesterday: Ternova, Starytsia and Bochkove of Chuhuiv region, Kupiansk, Dvorichna, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka of Kupiansk region, etc.

Viktor Tereshchenko, Head of Velykyi Burluk Village Administration, confirmed that a dormitory of the lyceum was destroyed as a result of shelling on 10 December at around 3 am. According to the General Staff, two S-300 missiles hit the village.

A 51-year-old woman was injured as a result of hostile shelling of Podoly village, Kupiansk region. A private building was damaged.

Two women aged 67 and 71 were killed as a result of an enemy attack on Kupiansk. Another 33-year-old man sustained shrapnel wounds. The victim was hospitalised. A private building, a fence and outbuildings were damaged.

There was an enemy shelling of Kupiansk around 9 pm Kupiansk. At least 5 private buildings and outbuildings were damaged. There were no casualties.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled 11 enemy attacks near Synkivka.

Pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service examined over 1.9 hectares of territory and defused 38 explosive ordnance. Mine clearance is ongoing.

Donetsk oblast

Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reported that the operational situation in the east is difficult and russian troops keep advancing along the entire frontline.

Vitalii Barabash, Head of Avdiivka City Military Administration, said that russian troops are storming the positions around Avdiivka with artillery, mortars, tanks and aircraft almost around the clock. The number of air strikes on the territory of the community has decreased to 6-8 but there are 30-40 massive attacks per day.

Volodymyr Fito, Head of public relations of the Ground Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, informed that russian army is using more drones towards Bakhmut, while aviation is more active towards Lyman-Kupiansk. On 9 December, russian military shelled these two areas more than 800 time.

The Specialised Defence Prosecutor’s Office of the Eastern Region stated that an investigation over the deaths of servicemen has been launched in Donetsk oblast. The case was opened under Article 115 of the Criminal Code (intentional murder). According to the Specialised Defence Prosecutor’s Office, police investigators are currently establishing all the circumstances of the crime and ordering forensic examinations.

Donetsk police said that yesterday russian forces shelled Avdiivka, Netailove, Novoselivka Persha and Orlivka five times. There were neither casualties nor destruction.

The night in Donetsk oblast was relatively calm, with no reports of casualties.

Towards Donetsk, 4 apartment buildings were damaged in Kurakhove community and the outskirts of Dalne shelled. Krasnohorivka, Novomykhailivka and Maksymilianivka of Marinka community were under attack.

Towards Horlivka, 6 private buildings and an apartment building were damaged in Chasiv Yar community. In Soledar community, Rozdolivka and Vasiukivka were attacked.

Towards Lysychansk, a building was damaged in Siversk. Lyman community was shelled 4 times.

Ihor Moroz, Acting Head of Donetsk Regional Military Administration, stated that yestedrday it became known about one person who was killed earlier in Pereizne. There were no casualties in the region yesterday.

Luhansk oblast

Nevske, like almost every day, suffered another russian attack yesterday. They also attacked Bilohorivka with mortars and artillery.

The enemy attempted to storm Novoselivske and Serebrianka forest.

According to Luhansk Regional Military Administration, in the towns occupied last year, russians took over the commercial areas that survived their assaults, without building or restoring anything new. But these measures did not even partially meet the needs of the remaining population. That is why the invaders decided to justify themselves by introducing delivery vehicles.

In the occupied territories, there are men who avoided military registration when obtaining a russian passport. Now they are being threatened with fines if they do not come to the military registration and enlistment offices voluntarily, i.e. without a summons. This also applies to those who were able to refrain from getting their passports. Their likely path is a fine, a russian passport and a military enlistment office. This is a new wave of forced mobilisation.

Artem Lysohor, Head of Luhansk Regional Military Administration, said that on Saturday, hygiene products and food parcels were distributed to people in Nevske. Residents asked about the needs that need to be solved with the next visit.

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

The management of the state institution “National Military Memorial Cemetery” reported that construction of the National Military Memorial Cemetery, which will be located near Kyiv within the Hatne community, will begin in the spring of 2024. The first phase will be implemented within 2025. The draft project has already passed the state examination.

A gallery of memory was opened at the Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University to honor students and employees who died in the war. Currently, there are 39 students and teachers of a higher educational institution at the front, 13 residents of Grinchenko died. For the Armed Forces Day, the university organized a charity auction at which works of art created by teachers and students were presented. The proceeds from their sale will go to the needs of the military – 140,000 hryvnias have already been collected.

The mayor of Irpin Oleksandr Markushin during an online meeting with the Portuguese sister city of Cascais announced that it is planned to create a rehabilitation center for military personnel in the city.

The KCSA reported that more than 60 monuments related to the history and culture of russia and the USSR were removed in the capital. Currently, the city is working on objects from which the Government has removed the protection status. The monument to Shchrs and Pushkin was recently dismantled.

The mayor of Bucha, Anatoly Fedoruk said that the city teachers, parents and students organized charity fairs “Give a kamikaze drone to the Armed Forces of Ukraine”. With the collected funds, the Bucha community purchased and transferred the first five attack drones to the front line. About 50 more drones have been ordered, and they will be delivered and transferred to military units within a month.

Zhytomyr oblast

Zhanna Solovyova, the head of the board of the Zhytomyr Community Foundation, announced that a charity project for the operative treatment of military personnel was launched in Zhytomyr. It is aimed at surgical treatment of military personnel who were injured in the combat zone. The Dutch company Valantic, the Zhytomyr Military Hospital, the private clinic Medibor, and the Zhytomyr Community Foundation joined this initiative.

The Northern Border Detachment reported that the other day, at the invitation of the director of one of the lyceums of Zhytomyr oblast, border guards took part in military sports competitions. Children and border guards competed in two collective teams, which included schoolchildren and military personnel. They competed in shooting, disassembling and assembling automatic weapons, equipping ammo magazines, throwing knives, tactical medicine, knowledge of military ranks and military equipment.

Sumy oblast

 At night, the russians carried out 5 shellings of the border territories and settlements of Sumy oblast, a total of 14 strikes were recorded: mortar fire, MLRS shelling and dropping of VOG from UAVs. The communities of Krasnopillia, Znob-Novhorodske, Seredina-Buda and Druzhbivka were under enemy shelling. In the Seredyna-Buda community, two private residential buildings were damaged as a result of mortar shelling.

Sumy RMA reported that during the past day, the russians carried out 20 shelling of the border region, a total of 135 explosions were recorded. The communities of Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Khotyn, Esman, Druzhbivka, Shalyhine, and Seredina-Buda were shelled. The enemy attacked with mortars, artillery, AGS, FPV-drone and dropped a VOG from an unmanned aerial vehicle. 

Chernihiv oblast

Chernihiv border detachment reported that over the past 24 hours, russian troops have fired 31 mortar strikes, 14 shots from AGS and dropped 3 VOG-17s from an enemy UAV (helicopter type) along the border of Chernihiv oblast. The territorial communities of Snovsk and Horodnyan were under enemy shelling.

The Ministry of Health reported that the maternity hospital in Chernihiv, which was damaged as a result of russian rocket attacks, was restored. The reconstruction was carried out thanks to the USAID Ukraine grant program “Health Care Reform Support”.

The Koropy community together with the International Organization for Migration implements the project “Improving fire safety services based on the principle of “help nearby”. As part of the project, fire safety training was held in regions, and all 5 fire departments received specialized equipment worth $25,000.

The action “Warm with the heart” continues in the Sosnytsia community. Volunteers from the village of Vilshany crossed this year’s limit of 3,000 trench candles for the Ukrainian military. In the last two weeks alone, they used 175 kg of paraffin.

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

Mykola Lukashuk, Head of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Council reported that at night the enemy shelled Nikopol with artillery. There were no damages or casualties.

An action in Ukrainian military support, in particular the defenders of Mariupol who have been in russian captivity for more than 1.5 years, took place in Dnipro. Soldiers relatives say thus they remind about the prisoners.

Vinnytsia oblast

Vinnytsia City Council announced that exactly a year ago the Coordination Headquarters of the Central Region on war prisoners treatment became operational in Vinnytsia. During this year it was possible to process more than 8 K appeals, hold more than 200 meetings with the defenders families and what is very important – accompany more than 200 soldiers who were released from captivity.

An action was held in Vinnytsia in support of Azovstal defenders who are still in  russian captivity. The participants of the action are relatives of Azov soldiers, marines who defended Mariupol. According to Suspilne more than half a hundred people joined the action.

Poltava oblast

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion almost 600 servicemen of the Armed Forces have undergone rehabilitation therapy in the rehabilitation department for patients with musculoskeletal disorders of the Poltava Regional Rehabilitation Hospital. The complex treatment course at the institution lasts from 14 to 21 days.

Cherkasy oblast

Press Service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Cherkasy region reported that representatives of the Red Cross International Committee in Ukraine conducted training with equipment for the explosive objects disposal. During three days pyrotechnicians improved their professional skills in decontamination of various explosive objects, both in theory and in practice. Pyrotechnicians practiced new methods of working with explosive dangerous goods in conditions close to real ones.

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast

On December 9, the russian military conducted 78 strikes across 20 populated areas within Zaporizhzhia oblast. Mala Tokmachka was subjected to shelling from MLRS, and 7 UAVs were targeted in Huliaypole, Novodarivka, Charivne, Chervone, and Mala Tokmachka. Furthermore, areas such as Zaliznychne, Robotyne, Levadne, Bilohirya, Poltavka, Shcherbakiv, Pryutne, Malynivka, Pyatyhatky, Lobkove, Plavni, and several other frontline towns and villages experienced a total of 70 artillery strikes. Though a residential building and a vehicle suffered damage due to the enemy shelling. No civilians were injured.

Towards Zaporizhzhia, the Armed Forces Units successfully repelled three separate attacks near Novopokrovka and areas further west of Robotyne within Zaporizhzhia oblast. Concurrently, in Melitopol direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to undertake active operations, seeking to inflict losses on the occupying forces in both personnel and equipment, thereby exerting pressure along the entirety of the frontline.

Mykolaiv oblast

Mykolaiv RMA reported that on December 9, the russian forces conducted an attack on the coastline and water area of Ochakiv in Mykolaiv oblast using artillery and MLRS. Additionally, russian forces targeted the populated area of Kutsurub community. In Mykolaiv, an event was organized for children from families of war prisoners or those who have been released from captivity. This event was hosted at the City Support Center for War Veterans. The interactive puppet theater performance, presented by the regional puppet theater, engaged and entertained the young audience. This form of “puppet therapy” plays a vital role in helping children deal with experiences that are beyond their years. Notably, the Center for War Veterans Support offers qualified psychological assistance to families of military personnel. Additionally, every Saturday, group sessions specifically tailored for women from military families are conducted at the center.

Odesa oblast

Public organization “Free and Loyal” organized the “Steel Battle” tournament, featuring mixed martial arts (MMA) and kickboxing in Odesa. The primary objective of this event was to extend support to the military. This was the second tournament of its kind, specifically aimed at raising funds for the Ukrainian Defense Forces. The proceeds garnered from this tournament will be utilized for diverse purposes, encompassing evacuation vehicles (buggy), food supplies, quadcopters, generators, and, notably, the innovative introduction of mobile bathhouses derived from containers, dryers and ironing machines developed by the organization. In the prior tournament, over 1 million hryvnias were raised, contributing to assistance worth approximately 20 million hryvnias.

An event at the Odesa Cultural Center “Union” showcased the presentation of book “Notes of a Volunteer” by Oleksandr Zakernychnyi, who died near Bakhmut in August 2023.

Kherson oblast

On December 10, Ivanivka experienced enemy shelling, resulting in a 52-year-old woman from the village being injured and subsequently hospitalized. Additionally, russian forces targeted Kherson, striking residential buildings. As a consequence, a 37-year-old man sustained head injuries and blast trauma, requiring hospitalization.

On December 9, due to russian aggression, one person lost their life, and four others were injured. Explosions echoed throughout Kherson as russian occupying forces targeted coastal areas of the city, city centre and Dniprovsky district. This resulted in damage to educational institution, business, eatery, private and multi-story residential buildings, shops, garages, and vehicle.

During the night, a rocket strike by russian military caused damage to five private houses in Chaikine. Additionally, Antonivka, Tokarivka, Veletenske, and Sadove were subjected to artillery fire.

The enemy continued to terrorize civilians by conducting strikes using 3 FPV drones and dropping shrapnel munitions from UAVs of various modifications on populated areas like Zolota Balka, Beryslav, Havrylivka, and Novoberislav. Tragically, one civilian was killed in Beryslav, and another was injured due to the explosive devices. A private house sustained damage.

Overall, on December 9, the enemy conducted 71 shellings, firing 264 shells using mortars, artillery, “Grad” systems, tanks, UAVs, and aviation. Specifically in Kherson, the enemy fired 19 shells.

In the area of responsibility of Armed Forces South, the enemy persists in reinforcing fortifications and mobilizing reserves. They closely monitor the actions of the Armed Forces on the right bank of the Dnipro River, while continuously bombarding with artillery and actively using drones. Defense Forces maintain positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River and continue to cause damage to the enemy.

The Southern Armed Forces executed their fire tasks, leading to the enemy losing 30 occupiers, 4 tanks, 1 IFV, 1 APC, 1 mortar, 1 radar station, 18 units of automotive equipment, and 1 boat. Four observation posts and an ammunition depot were also destroyed.

Oleksandr Tolokonnikov, Head of the press office of the Kherson RMA, reported that despite continuous russian shelling in Kherson, small businesses are gradually resuming operations. Small shops and small chains are opening in the city, and there are several construction supermarkets, markets and pharmacies. He said that currently 25% of people live in Kherson, of which 70% are elderly.

Residents of Kalynivka community received 28 tons of anthracite coal for heating their homes, particularly for large families.

In Kherson, a center-reception of the Christmas wizard has opened in a safe location. This joint project involving the charitable fund “KRYLA,” the Kherson Regional Academic Music and Drama Theatre named after M. Kulish, and LLC “Festival Center” includes New Year’s decorations, activities, and gift distribution for Kherson children.

Latest news for today in the western regions of Ukraine

Volyn oblast

Yurii Pohuliaiko, Head of the RMA, and Serhii Lozinskyi, Head of the Border Detachment, visited the Ukrainian-belarusian border on a working trip. Fortification of the border with belarus is ongoing, so they reviewed the work done and discussed prospects for further building up engineering barriers on the northern border of the region. So, now the demarcation line is protected by defensive structures and manned and unmanned mine-explosive barricades. However, work continues even now, new defense structures are being built. Border guards are on duty around the clock and fully monitor the situation.

Zakarpattia oblast

The servicemen of military units A1778, A1556, A4914, A7029, A7369, Zakarpattia Regional Territorial Center of Manpower and Social Support, Uzhhorod District Territorial Center of Manpower and Social Support and Commandant of Military Communications of Uzhhorod Railway Station were presented with certificates by Uzhgorod City Council for conscientious performance of official duties. duties, maintenance of military discipline and combat readiness.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

In Ivano-Frankivsk, UAH 22,743 mln were received by the family members of killed and missing soldiers. Lviv oblast

In Chervonohrad, a Million for drones charity auction was held from the Birds of Victory project. UAH 900K were raised for drones for the Armed Forces.

RMA reported that Novoyavoriv City Council sent a quadcopter worth UAH 359K for military unit A 7078 (the territorial defense of Yavoriv region).

About 500 children of defenders of Ukraine from Pustomytivska community received sweet gifts from St. Nicholas thanks to the local budget of the community.

About 50 children from IDPs and large families of Mosty community received sweet gifts from the Snezhka-Ukraine enterprise and Yavoriv region organization of the Red Cross Society. The regional office of the Coordination Center for the support of the civilian population and Yavoriv RMA handed over hygiene products to IDPs families.

Rivne oblast

Rivne communities continue to help the Armed Forces. 5 powerful Ecoflow Delta power plants were purchased from Sarnen community. Klevan community bought the Adaptis kit for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 2 anti-drone guns and 6 personal radio electronic intelligence (EIR) devices were purchased with funds from the budget of Varas community. Funds for an anti-drone gun were collected in Dubensk community during a charity auction.

Rivne City Council reported that the city held a holiday for 150 IDP children who found refuge in Rivne from oblasts where hostilities are active.

Ternopil oblast

From Ternopil sent beads to military personnel thanks to the sister city of Barut/Mark.

Ternopil City Council reported that at the request of the commander of the military unit, the city sent 6 DJI Mavis 3 Enterprise quadcopters to the defenders.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

Violeta Labaziuk, Head of the regional council, visited the I – Mariupol IDP Support Center and discussed with its visitors and volunteers. The support center for displaced people of Khmelnytskyi I – Mariupol takes an active part in the life of the regional center and the oblast and is a platform for the employment of Mariupol residents and their receipt of food packages, as well as psychological, medical, social and legal assistance.

Chernivtsi oblast

The RMA held a meeting with partners from Swabia district. They discussed implementation of cross-border projects, further cooperation and the needs of the oblast. During the visit, the German friends handed over a fire engine to Yurkovets community and fire equipment.

An Ambassador of Childhood large-scale charity festival was held in Chernivtsi. During the day, over 50 entertainment and educational locations worked for children.

International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, met with Ulysses Correia i Silva, Prime Minister of the Republic of Cape Verde. This meeting was the 1st in the history of bilateral relations between countries.

Andrii Yermak, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, met with Oleksandr Soros, American businessman and philanthropist, head of the Open Society CFs. They, in particular, discussed possibilities of development of the Ukrainian economy, in particular the issue of recovery and reconstruction of Ukraine.

The Coca-Cola Company and the Ukrainian Red Cross sent 37 mobile boilers to Ukrainian communities before the start of the heating season. Taking into account the urgent need to support local heat supply systems, 8 more mobile boilers were additionally ordered, which will soon reach communities.

David Cameron, British Foreign Minister, announced that the United Kingdom in 2024 intends to maintain the level of aid to Ukraine or even increase it. Great Britain has already provided humanitarian and economic aid to Ukraine in the amount of about $6 billion.

The UN headquarters showed a film by a French journalist Glory to the Heroes about the war in Ukraine. The director of the film is Bernard-Henri Levy,French philosopher and journalist. This is already his third film about a full-scale invasion of the russian federation.

Consequences of the russian detonation of Kakhovka HPP formed the basis of the “flooded” pavilion of Ukraine at the COP28 Climate Change Conference in Dubai.
