During the day of 3 April, there were 54x tactical engagements.
The enemy launched a total of 5x missile and 50x airstrikes, 37x MLRS attacks on positions of Ukrainian troops and various settlements.
Volyn and Polissia axes: no significant changes. No signs of formation of an offensive group.
Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna axes: the adversary maintains its military presence in the russian areas bordering Ukraine. The enemy conducts subversion, continues shelling of Ukrainian settlements from the territory of russia and increases the concentration of mining operations along the state border of Ukraine. The adversary launched airstrikes in the vicinities of Slobozhanske and Vovchansk (Kharkiv oblast). Around 20x settlements came under enemy artillery and mortar fire, including Bleshnya (Chernihiv oblast), Nova Huta, Havrylova Sloboda, Tovstodubove, Lukashivka (Sumy oblast), Veterynarne, Strilecha, Krasne (Kharkiv oblast).
Kupiansk axis: the Ukrainian defenders repelled 1x attack in the vicinity of Andriivka (Luhansk oblast). The adversary launched airstrikes in the vicinities of Holubivka, Kupiansk, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Kalynove, Borova (Kharkiv oblast). The invaders fired artillery and mortars at around 15x settlements, including Synkivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Kotliarivka (Kharkiv oblast).
Lyman axis: the Ukrainian defenders repelled 3x assaults in the vicinity of Terny (Donetsk oblast), where the enemy made attempts to breach Ukrainian defence. The enemy fired artillery and mortars at more than 10x settlements, including Nevske (Luhansk oblast), Terny, Yampolivka, Torske (Donetsk oblast).
Bakhmut axis: the Ukrainian defenders repelled 10x attacks in the vicinities of Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast), Spirne, Andriivka, northeast of Vyimka and Klishchiivka (Donetsk oblast). In that area the enemy made attempts to improve its tactical position. The enemy launched airstrikes in the vicinities of Chasiv Yar, Toretsk, Druzhba (Donetsk oblast). More than 10x settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Bohdanivka, Kalynivka, Chasiv Yar (Donetsk oblast).
Avdiivka axis: the Ukrainian defenders repelled 8x attacks in the vicinities of Berdychi, Umanske, Yasnobrodivka, Pervomaiske, Nevelske (Donetsk oblast), where the occupiers made attempts to dislodge Ukrainian forces from their positions. The adversary launched airstrikes in the vicinities of Keramik, Semenivka (Donetsk oblast). The invaders fired artillery and mortars at around 10x settlements, including Novokalynove, Novobakhmutivka, Semenivka, Nevelske (Donetsk oblast).
Novopavlivka axis: the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to block the enemy near Novomykhailivka and Urozhaine (Donetsk oblast), where the invaders, using air attacks, made 15x attempts to breach Ukrainian defence. The occupiers launched airstrikes in the vicinities of Krasnohorivka, Vodyane and Vuhledar (Donetsk oblast). The enemy fired artillery and mortars at more than 10x settlements, including Heorhiivka, Paraskoviivka, Kostiantynivka, Vuhledar (Donetsk oblast).
Orikhiv axis: the enemy conducted no offensive operations, however launched airstrikes in the vicinities of Staromaiorske (Donetsk oblast), Malynivka, Orikhiv and Robotyne (Zaporizhzhia oblast). Around 20x settlements, including Poltavka, Malynivka, Chervone, Bilohiria, Novodanylivka, Shcherbaky (Zaporizhzhia oblast), were under artillery and mortar fire of the occupiers.
Kherson axis: the occupiers do not abandon their intention to drive Ukrainian units out of their footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro. In particular, the enemy executed 4x assaults on positions of Ukrainian defenders. The settlement of Krynky (Kherson oblast) came under enemy artillery fire.
During the day of 3 April, the Ukrainian Air Force launched airstrikes on 1x anti-aircraft missile system, 14x concentrations of troops, weapons and military equipment of the occupiers.
The Ukrainian Missile Forces hit 2x concentrations of troops, weapons and military equipment, 1x artillery system, 1x radar station, 1x electronic warfare station, 1x UAVs control post of the russian invaders.
The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine reported that in March 2024, the Defence Forces set a record for destroying enemy artillery systems. Over a month, the soldiers destroyed 976 russian artillery systems. This is the highest figure for one month since the start of the full-scale invasion.
The invaders destroyed about 150 archaeological heritage sites in Crimea. In total, the Crimean Institute for Strategic Studies (KISS) has recorded more than 600 cases of violations against Ukraine’s cultural heritage in the temporarily occupied territories, including Crimea. The organisation has developed a register of damage to cultural sites in the temporarily occupied territories. Denys Yashnyi, Head of the KISS monitoring group, confirmed that until 2022, the most common type of violation in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol is illegal archaeological excavations, which have already destroyed about one and a half hundred archaeological heritage sites.
Recent war events in the east of Ukraine
Based on the information provided by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine the russian army launched airstrikes on 15 localities in Luhansk and Donetsk oblasts yesterday. The occupation army attempted over 54 assaults on Ukrainian positions. Most of them were towards Novopavlivka, where they made 24 unsuccessful attempts to break through Ukrainian defences near Novomykhailivka, near Marinka and Urozhaine, in the south of the region.
Kharkiv oblast
The press service of Kharkiv police reported that a 69-year-old resident of Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi was injured as a result of russian shelling around 11am. He was taken to hospital.
Oleh Syniehubov, Head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, confirmed that at 3:29am, garages in a garage cooperative and a private house were damaged as a result of KAB shelling in Kupiansk. There was no information about casualties. The shelling started again at 3:32am. There was neither destruction nor casualties.
At 3:25am, the building of the educational institution and garages were damaged as a result of the hostile shelling by KAB bombs in Borova village, Izium region. There was no information about the casualties.
The day before, about 15 settlements in Kharkiv oblast suffered artillery and mortar attacks: Veterynarne, Hatyshche, Pletenivka and others. Synkivka and Lyptsi were hit by airstrikes.

At 11:17pm, two private houses were damaged as a result of enemy shelling of Kucherivka village, Kupiansk region. There were no casualties.
At 5pm, a private house was damaged as a result of hostile shelling in Novoosynove village, Kupiansk region. A 58-year-old man died on the spot and his 11-year-old son died in hospital as a result of his injuries. According to the RMA, despite the forced evacuation from the village, the family returned, bypassing the checkpoints through the forest.
At 2:30pm, russian invaders shelled Ivashky village, Bohodukhiv region, by artillery. Five residential buildings were destroyed as a result of 12 strikes. There is no power supply. There were no casualties.
At 1:33pm, the territory of Hlushkivka village, Kupiansk region, was hit. There was neither destruction nor casualties. The shelling repeated at 2:33pm.
At 8am on 2 April, the shelling of Lyptsi village, Kharkiv region, destroyed a warehouse and damaged the premises of the institution. A private residential building and a shop in front of it were also damaged. There were no casualties.
Towards Kupiansk, the enemy made one unsuccessful attack near Synkivka yesterday.
Combined teams of bomb experts cleared 54.95 hectares of mines and destroyed 360 explosive ordnance.
The State Emergency Service informed that 6 out of 7 fires started as a result of russian strikes occurred in Kupiansk region. Grass was burning over an area of more than 5 hectares in Hrushkivka village. In Kucherivka and Kupiansk, houses, a garage and grass were on fire.
An exhibition of photographs by Maksym “Dali” Kryvtsov, a war hero, opens in Kharkiv. The exhibition “I will get my life back, I promise” will feature 24 photographs. They will be accompanied by Kryvtsov’s poetry.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs said that russia is spreading fake news about the evacuation of Kharkiv. The Ukrainian information space is full of reports allegedly from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine about evacuations from Kharkiv and its surroundings due to the alleged encirclement of the city by russian invaders.
Dmytro Bespalov, Head of Kharkiv branch of Hazmerezha, stated that in Kharkiv oblast, nearly 200 hits were recorded on the oblast’s gas infrastructure during this heating season, including nearly 140 direct hits on residential buildings. At the end of the season, four sections of gas distribution networks in the oblast were damaged.
Donetsk oblast
The press service of Donetsk police reported that on the night of 3 April, russian troops launched 5 missiles at Selydove, preliminary, S-300 missiles. At least 12 apartment buildings, 8 private houses, 6 administrative buildings, an enterprise and 5 private garages were damaged. There was no information about casualties so far.
Yesterday the police recorded 1666 attacks. 7 settlements were under attack: Kostiantynivka, Mykolaivka, Toretsk cities, Ocheretyne settlement, Dachne, Kalynove and Pyskunivka villages. Three civilians were injured in the oblast. 34 civilian objects were damaged, including 19 residential buildings, an administrative building, a cultural centre, a public transport stop, cars and a gas pipeline.

Russia launched an airstrike on Mykolaivka using 4 bombs, specifically, universal interspecies planning munitions (UMPB D-30 SM). Three civilians were injured. Three apartment buildings, a private house, a hotel, an administrative building, a bus stop and 9 cars were damaged.
The invaders dropped a KAB-250 guided aerial bomb on Toretsk, damaging 6 private houses and a cultural institution.

The enemy launched another KAB-250 at Kalynove, damaging five houses and a car.
As a result of shelling in Ocheretyne, a private house was completely destroyed and a two-storey building damaged.

Fighting is taking place on the outskirts of Maksymilianivka of Marinka community. There are destroyed houses and cars hit by drones everywhere. Despite the daily russian attacks, about 50 residents remain in Maksymilianivka. 12 of them live on the edge of the village, a few hundred metres from the contact line. The White Angel police crew delivers humanitarian aid. This time, the police delivered vegetable and food packages. Police officers are on duty around the clock towards Marinka. The evacuation continues but not all elderly people are ready to leave their homes.
20 hectares out of almost 3,000 have been cleared of mines by farmers in Dolyna village. To safely find the ammunition, they created a remote-controlled tractor on their own. The machine cost the farmers $10,000. After the land has been processed by unmanned vehicles, the State Emergency Service comes and clears it of mines.

According to Donetsk Regional Military Administration, utilities in the oblast received 65 generators from Germany.
Luhansk oblast
According to Luhansk Regional Military Administration, the enemy opened fire on Nevske and Bilohorivka. The enemy is targeting Serebrianka forestry. They used artillery, mortars, grenade launchers and small arms. Also russians attacked south of Nevske, towards Terny. They used aircraft near Bilohorivka and Verkhnokamianske.
Residents of the de-occupied villages in Luhansk oblast receive medicines as part of the Ukrposhta Medicines project.
Employees of coal mining enterprises, that have recently been transferred to new investors for nothing and without bidding, are applying to employment centres in the occupied Luhansk oblast. Specifically, these are Skhidbuhillia and Bilorichenskaya mines. These individuals were warned of dismissal at the initiative of their employer. Until the end of 2024, entrepreneurs from the so-called “lpr” will not be fined for violating tax laws. These include violations of the rules for accounting for income and expenses and taxable objects and non-payment of tax.
What is happening now in the north of Ukraine
Kyiv oblast
According to Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, Alexander Stubb, President of Finland, arrived in Kyiv on 3 April. An agreement on security cooperation and long-term support was signed with the Finnish President. Finland will provide long-term military and financial assistance, as well as deepen cooperation with Ukraine in the political, financial, humanitarian and reform fields.

Kyiv Regional Centre for Preparing the Population for National Resistance presented the first free basic course for civilians in the oblast. It started on 16 March and will last until 4 May. About 100 residents of Kyiv oblast are enrolled in the course. The course covers 16 military disciplines, including tactical and firearms training, UAV operations, survival and tactical medicine.
According to Kyiv RMA, Kyiv Region. We believe. We are getting stronger. Reviving Forum was held on the occasion of the second anniversary of the oblast’s liberation from russian occupation. During the event, clear plans for the comprehensive restoration of the oblast were identified in three key areas: rebuilding infrastructure and the economy, medical and psychological rehabilitation of the victims, and strengthening unity, patriotism and historical memory.
Ruslan Kravchenko, Head of Kyiv RMA, reported that Kyiv oblast has identified the first 3 businesses to be partially reimbursed for war damage assessment. The oblast will partially reimburse small, medium and small businesses for 60% of the cost of damage assessment services. The maximum amount is UAH 60,000.
The Best Eco Fest Festival, which aims to raise funds for the Pes Baron animal rescue centre for animals from the frontline areas, will take place on 20 April in the village of Chubynske, Kyiv oblast. UAH 11m is needed to build the centre. Animals from the frontline areas will be brought to the centre, where they will be kept, provided with medical care, sterilised and found owners. At the centre, visitors will be able to feed and walk the animals and clean their enclosures.
Kyiv RMA reported that despite the war, new youth centres started their work in the Boryspil and Vyshhorod communities of Kyiv oblast. Renovated youth centres and spaces were opened in the Slavutych, Pereyaslav and Boyarka communities. There are currently 34 such facilities in the oblast.
According to Volodymyr Karpliuk, Head of Irpin Investment Council, Irpin wants to publish a separate collection of children’s works on the topic of a full-scale russian invasion. The deadline for submissions is 1 May. Children from the Kyiv oblast, as well as those who have left Ukraine because of the war, can submit their poems, stories and drawings.
Zhytomyr oblast
Olevske community in Zhytomyr oblast has completed the reconstruction and arrangement of shelters in two kindergartens at once. Both projects were implemented as part of a memorandum of cooperation between Zhytomyr RMA and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), which was signed in the summer of 2022. The shelters were equipped with a modern ventilation system, emergency light sources, plumbing and furniture.
Sumy oblast
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in the morning, the russians launched an airstrike on Krasnopillia community. The enemy attack killed a 45-year-old man and injured another man and his 3-year-old daughter. Five cars, a shop building and a cultural centre building were damaged.
According to Sumy RMA, at night and in the morning, russians fired five times at the border areas of Sumy oblast. There were 23 explosions: 3 air strikes by guided bombs on the Krasnopillia community, 2 airstrikes by guided bombs on the Sumy suburban civilian infrastructure, and 18 mortar strikes on the territory of Khotin and Seredyna-Buda communities.
The russian military carried out 39 shelling of Sumy oblast. There were 226 explosions. The Khotin, Yunakivka, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Nova Sloboda, Shalyhyne, Esman, Hlukhiv, Seredyna-Buda, Znob-Novhorodske communities were shelled. The enemy attacked with mortars, artillery, MLRS, FPV drones, and dropped explosive devices from UAVs.
Volodymyr Artiukh, Head of the RMA, reported that over the past three months, 412 airstrikes were launched on the communities of Sumy oblast. The enemy most often uses guided aerial bombs.

According to the State Border Guard Service, in Sumy oblast, border guards neutralised another enemy reconnaissance drone that was collecting information in the border area. After detecting the enemy copter, the border patrol opened fire with small arms to destroy the drone, causing the enemy quadcopter to lose altitude and fall to the ground.
According to Volodymyr Artiukh, Head of the RMA, in Sumy oblast, civilians were completely evacuated from 27 villages in the border area with russia. These settlements are under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The evacuation of civilians from the villages along the border of the oblast began in the summer of 2023, with about 9,000 people evacuated over this period, including 850 children. In total, there are 115 settlements in the border area in Sumy oblast.
Chernihiv oblast
According to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, russian troops fired 11 times at the border of Chernihiv oblast. Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka and Snovsk communities were under enemy attack. There were 49 attacks with mortars and FPV drones.
Viacheslav Chaus, head of the RMA, reported that 5 families in Kyselivka community received keys to brand new modular houses built on the site of the destroyed ones. The project was supported by the Dutch organisation Open Door Ukraine and the Leroy Merlin Solidarity Charitable Foundation.
Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine
Dnipropetrovsk oblast
According to updated information the attack on Dnipro on April 2, 4 educational institutions were damaged: a college, a kindergarten, a lyceum and a university and a warehouse building at an enterprise. 9 high-rise buildings and 25 cars were also damaged.
Late in the evening the enemy launched an UAV at Myrove community. There were no casualties.
During the day, the enemy attacked Nikopol 11 times, launching 8 kamikaze drones and shelling 3 times by artillery. Nikopol, Pokrovsk and Marhanets communities were hit. A private enterprise and an infrastructure facility were damaged. There were no casualties.
Vinnytsia oblast
YaMariupol. Care. a consumer centre was opened in Vinnytsia. In this space Mariupol residents will be able to use dentist’s, family doctor’s, hairdresser’s and tailor’s services. The centre will also have a laundry and coworking space. A total of 32 services are available here. Mayor Serhii Morhunov announced that more than 2,000 IDPs from Mariupol are officially registered in Vinnytsia community. They will receive the necessary benefits and assistance.
Kirovohrad oblast
Andrii Raikovych, Head of the RMA, reported that the enemy UAV was destroyed in Kirovograd oblast, causing a fire of dry grass that was extinguished by firefighters. No people were injured.
Poltava oblast
5 soldiers from Poltava oblast were killed in the war with russia. They are Dmytro Deineko, Oleksandr Onyshchenko, Vitalii Solodun, Anatolii Levchenko and Roman Koval.
On 25 September, 2023, 43-year-old soldier Dmytro Deineko was killed near Vuhledar town of Donetsk oblast due to russian mortar and grenade shelling.
On 28 March, Oleksandr Onyshchenko was killed by russians during a shelling near Kostiantynivka in Donetsk oblast. The 37-year-old man served as a senior scout of a reconnaissance unit.
50-years-old Vitalii Solodun was an assistant grenade launcher and was also killed in action on 28 March near Robotyne village, Zaporizhzhia oblast.
51-year-old Chief Sergeant Anatolii Levchenko was killed on 5 March in the combat zone near Synkivka village, Kharkiv oblast.
41-year-old soldier Roman Koval died on 31 March due to illness.
Cherkasy oblast
According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Defense destroyed an attack drone in Cherkasy oblast at night. There were no casualties or damage.
Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine
Zaporizhzhia oblast
Yesterday the enemy launched 389 strikes on 8 settlements in Zaporizhzhia oblast. The russian military personnel launched 2 airstrikes on Mala Tokmachka and Robotyne. Additionally, 101 UAV attacks targeted Huliaipole, Levadne, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, Malynivka and Stepnohirsk. There were 18 MLRS shelling incidents in Mala Tokmachka, Robotyne, Levadne and Malynivka. Furthermore, 268 artillery strikes were inflicted on the territories of Huliaipole, Malynivka, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Robotyne, Levadne and Verbove. Reports of 10 instances of residential buildings and infrastructure being destroyed have been received.
The General Staff reported that towards Orihiv, the occupiers launched 4 unsuccessful attacks on the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces near Staramaiorske in Donetsk oblast, Robotyne and northwest of Verbove in Zaporizhzhia oblast.
Zaporizhzhia oblast received 19 generators for the Oblvodokanal utility enterprise and communities of the oblast from the Federal Agency for Technical Assistance of Germany/Bundesanstalt Technisches Hilfswerk (THW). The provided equipment will help ensure power supply in case of power outages, support critical infrastructure, and Invincibility Centres. The region has already received special equipment and automotive machinery for emergency response and prevention from THW in 2023.
The Civilian Readiness Center conducts training sessions in Zaporizhzhia for those interested in learning how to operate FPV drones and provide pre-medical assistance. The sessions take place three times a week. The Civilian Readiness Center has been operating in Zaporizhzhia for a month now. All activities in it are free of charge. According to the coordinator of the centre, Serhii Chertolias, they have organised 15 training sessions during this time. The sessions are attended by 15 to 50 people, depending on the course. More than 200 people have already been trained within a month of operation.
Mykolaiv oblast
On Tuesday, 2 April, at 8:55am, russian forces shelled the waters of Ochakiv community by mortars. According to Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, there were no casualties.
The State Emergency Service of Mykolaiv oblast reported that on 2 April, a man driving a cultivator tripped over an explosive device in the village of Liubomyrivka. The driver was unharmed and managed to leave the dangerous area, but the cultivator was damaged.
According to Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) provided 1513 laptops to support the educational process in 23 communities of Mykolaiv oblast. Representatives of the communities met with UNICEF staff and discussed issues related to access to quality education, humanitarian concerns, including response to emergency situations, water supply, sanitation and hygiene, and social protection. Also the attendees inspected the shelter, which was renovated with the assistance of UNICEF last year.
On 28 March, a film by the well-known Ukrainian traveller Anton Ptushkin, titled “We, Our Pets, and War,” was presented at the Doc Kyiv Fest documentary film festival. The film portrays the harsh reality of today, where war is a test for both humans and animals. One of the segments of the film tells the stories of Mykolaiv Zoo, which has been subjected to enemy shelling multiple times. The project’s idea is to convey to the world the tragedy unfolding in Ukraine: the loss of human and animal lives, and to show the delicate line of responsibility for those nearby. Today, the film has been acquired by PBS, the largest broadcaster in the United States.
Odesa oblast
The Ukrainian Navy informed that the enemy has withdrawn all ships from the Black Sea, and there is also no enemy fleet in the Sea of Azov. It is worth noting that russia needs just a few hours to prepare a missile-carrying vessel for combat duty, therefore the situation could change promptly.
The City Council said that Odesa schools received 625 Chromebook laptops from UNESCO through funding from the Global Partnership for Education (GPE). Priority for the laptops will be given to displaced children who have moved from areas affected by combat or temporarily occupied by russia and who require computer equipment.
Kateryna Nozhevnikova, Head of Monster Corporation Odesa charitable foundation, said that they delivered first mortars for fighters of the 66th Separate Mechanised Brigade of the Ukrainian Ground Forces. Volunteers announced the fundraiser for mortars at the beginning of 2024. The first three million hryvnias were collected in 30 days, but the fundraising campaign is still ongoing. The goal of this project is to raise UAH 28m for 82 mortars for various units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Odesa’s Emergency medical workers received 200 high-quality, lightweight bulletproof vests. The vests are made of high-molecular-weight polyethylene material that protects against fragments at speeds of up to 600m/s, as well as 9mm caliber bullets. The aid was provided by Lviv Defense Cluster charitable foundation.
Kherson oblast
Yesterday the enemy shelled Tokarivka, Antonivka, Sadove, Kizomys, Veletenske, Tomyna Balka, Beryslav, Mykhailivka, Zmiiivka, Tiahynka and the city of Kherson. A multi-story building, 5 private houses, a farm building, and a gas pipeline were damaged as a result of the russian attacks. One person was killed due to russian aggression. The police documented 20 war crimes committed by russian military against the civilian population of Kherson oblast.

Ukrainian Army continues counter-battery combat and repelling enemy assaults in the operational zone of the Southern Defence Forces. The enemy slightly changed tactics and attempted to attack with more numerous but smaller assault groups on the left bank of the Dnipro River. There were 8 such attempts yesterday. Suffering losses, the enemy was forced to retreat to their original positions. The defence forces continue to carry out comprehensive measures to maintain and strengthen positions.
The Southern Defense Forces continue damaging enemy positions, locations, and rear areas. Yesterday, the enemy lost 93 occupiers and 34 units of weaponry and military equipment. A field arsenal and 2 enemy fortification structures were destroyed.
Medical workers in Kherson oblast received 131 bulletproof vests from the Lviv Defence Cluster public organisation and the Aid to the Lviv Defense Cluster charitable foundation. The personal protective equipment has the first level of safety and is red in colour, indicating that it is intended for civilians, not military personnel. They are lightweight and comfortable, allowing medical workers to work in them all day. The bulletproof vests will be distributed among medical institutions in the region.
The National Resistance Center reported that russian literature books were imported from Belarus to the schools captured by the occupying authorities in the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson oblast. The literature was donated by the Oksia Talaya Fund from Belarus, most of which are purely propagandistic and part of russian literature. Zakarpattia oblast
Work on the construction of fortifications in Zaporizhzhia oblast, entrusted to Zakarpattia by the highest state and military leadership, is coming to an end. Myroslav Biletskyi, First Deputy Head of the RMA, personally visited all locations, talked with builders and noted the quality of works, despite the fact that they had to work on a tight schedule.
Ivano-Frankivsk oblast
Ivano-Frankivsk City Council reported that the community sent 50 drones to the defenders of the 56th Separate Mariupol Motorized Infantry Brigade.
Lviv oblast
In the shelter of Lviv Regional Clinical Perinatal Center, a miniature perinatal clinic is now operating thanks to the Kozytskyi CF, Amdos Management, Vodafone Ukraine, the RMA and Lviv Regional Clinical Perinatal Center. In an area of over 700 square metres, there is a delivery room, an operating room, intensive care wards, post-intensive care – everything necessary to bring a new life into the world and take care of it.
Volunteers from Sokilnytsk community sent Volkswagen T4 and Mitsubishi L 200 to the servicemen for the 59th and 24th Separate Mechanised Brigades and a Hyundai Galloper to the 60th Separate Mechanised Brigades. In addition, 2 Mavic 3T drones, 5 FPVdrones, EW, medical equipment and other necessary items were delivered.
Pustomyt community sent 18 unmanned aerial vehicles (multicopters) FPV 0701 and 4 FPV drones Ronnie worth UAH 342,500 to defenders serving in the T0919 Military Unit of the MOU thanks to the budget money.
Rivne oblast
Veterans of Rivne oblast will be involved in volunteer fire brigades. This is a new direction for the rehabilitation of veterans, in which the regional service of the State Emergency Service is involved. They confirmed their intentions by signing a Memorandum on cooperation between the State Administration, the Association of Voluntary Fire Brigades of Ukraine NGO and the Strong Veteran Rivne NGO.
Ternopil oblast
The RMA reported that the oblast sent laptops, laser pointers and communication equipment to an anti-aircraft machine gun battalion to improve the combat capability of mobile fire groups.
Ternopil City Council reported that the community sent seven units of reconnaissance equipment, namely, 4 DJI Mavic 3T quadcopters and 3 DJI Mavic Enterprise quadcopters, to defenders at the front.
Khmelnytskyi oblast
In the morning, while repelling an air attack, the Air Defense Forces shot down 1 Shahed UAV in Khmelnytskyi oblast. There were no casualties among the civilian population, no information about damage was received.
Chernivtsi oblast
An inpatient rehabilitation department was opened in Khotyn Multidisciplinary Hospital. In January, the Hospital signed an agreement with the NHSHU on the package Rehabilitation Assistance for Adults and Children in Inpatient Conditions. During the first quarter, 174 people received outpatient rehabilitation services at the institution. This year, 11 institutions in the oblast provide outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation care, 9 institutions are contracted separately for outpatient rehabilitation care and 3 institutions provide rehabilitation for children under 3 years of age.
International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)
As of today, 8 countries, namely, Great Britain, Germany, France, Denmark, Canada, Italy, the Netherlands and Finland, have already volunteered to provide security guarantees to Ukraine.
The International Register of Damages from russian Aggression was launched in The Hague. Work continues on the preparation of the legal instrument, on the basis of which the Compensation Commission will be created, together with international partners. It is she who will award the payments.
Finland announced the allocation of the 23rd aid package to Ukraine in the amount of €188m. Among other things, it will include air defence systems and artillery ammunition. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the amount of military support to Finland has approached €2bn. In addition, Finland is preparing a four-year plan to support Ukraine. The budget for development and reconstruction is €290m.
The Latvian government approved a new comprehensive aid package for Ukraine in 2024 for €9.6m. The package included €5.3m for the reconstruction of Ukraine and €4.3m for support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine through the European Peace Fund.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, and Alexander Stubb, President of Finland, signed the relevant Agreement on cooperation in the field of security and long-term support. According to the concluded agreement, the Finns will continue to provide Ukraine with military and financial support, help rebuild the energy sector, strengthen the protection of the border and critical infrastructure, as well as treat Ukrainian defenders.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, had a phone conversation with Fumio Kishida, Prime Minister of Japan. They discussed the state of preparation of the bilateral security agreement based on the results of three rounds of negotiations.
Andrii Yermak, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, spoke via video link with Gabriel Luchinger, Head of the international security policy department of the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation. They discussed preparations for the first inaugural Global Peace Summit to be hosted by Switzerland.
Herman HHHalushchenko, Minister of Energy of Ukraine, held an online meeting with Dainius Kravis, Minister of Energy of Lithuania. They agreed that a group of Ukrainian energy experts from public and private sector companies will soon visit Lithuania. In addition, the country will send power equipment for thermal power plants to Ukraine.
