War in Ukraine today: latest news, 28 June, 2024 (photo)

It has been the 865th day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression. 

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 6 pm:   

On 28 June, the enemy increased the intensity of attacks, looking for ways to penetrate Ukrainian defences and tried to dislodge Ukrainian units from the occupied lines. The number of combat clashes along the entire front line increased to 131.

Kharkiv oblast continues to suffer from insidious missile and bomb strikes from the territory of the russian federation.  In the afternoon, russian terrorists hit private houses and outbuildings in the village of Tsyrkuny with three KABs. As a result of such insidious and criminal actions of the aggressor, the civilian population suffered. At the same time, the enemy carried out three strikes with nine KABs on Lyptsi, and dropped two more aerial bombs on Zelene.  Fighting had been going on in the vicinity of Vovchansk throughout the day. Ukrainian soldiers repelled six enemy attacks, and five more are ongoing.

Towards Kupyansk direction, since the beginning of the day, Ukrainian defenders have repelled seven attacks by the occupiers near Stepova, Novoselivka, Stelmakhivka, Synkivka and Kruhliakivka. Currently, two clashes are still ongoing.

14 attempts by the enemy to advance deep into our territory in the areas of Nevsky, Makiivka, Torske, Hrekivka and Serebryansk forest in the Lyman direction were unsuccessful. Three clashes are still ongoing.

The previous losses of the aggressor in this direction since the beginning of the day were: 90 occupiers killed and wounded, 5 dugouts and one ammunition depot destroyed.

Towards Siversk, the enemy attacked Ukrainian defenders 19 times near Bilohorivka, Spirne, Verkhnokamianske, Ivano-Daryivka, Rozdolivka and Vyimka. Ukrainian soldiers, steadfastly holding the line, repelled 15 enemy assaults. Four combat clashes have not yet ended.

According to preliminary data, the losses of the invaders here amount to 63 occupiers. Two tanks, six armoured fighting vehicles, a self-propelled artillery unit and a car were destroyed.

Towards Kramatorsk, the occupying troops continue to put pressure on the positions of Ukrainian defenders near Chasiv Yar, Novyi and Ivanivske.  Ukrainian defenders repelled three assaults, and two clashes are still ongoing.

Towards Horlivka-Toretsk, the aggressor, with the support of aviation, unsuccessfully attacked the defensive lines of Ukrainian defenders 14 times. The situation is under control.

Towards Pokrovsk is the hottest spot along the entire front line.  The number of enemy assaults per day here increased to 36.  Units of the Defense Forces repelled 27 attacks by the aggressor, and nine more combat clashes are ongoing.

Fighting continues towards Kurakhove. Since the beginning of the day, the enemy attacked in the vicinity of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Paraskoviivka and Kostiantynivka.  The total number of attacks increased to 11, of which nine were repelled and two continue. 

Towards Vremivka, the occupying forces tried four times to break into our defense near Vodiane. Two clashes are still ongoing.

Towards the Dnipro River area, five russian assaults in the vicinity of Krynky were unsuccessfully completed. The situation is under control. 

In other areas, the situation has not changed significantly.

The IAEA reports that as a result of russian shelling, a radiation monitoring station near the ZNPP was destroyed. This further reduced effectiveness of detecting and measuring radioactive releases during emergencies. 

Oleksandr Filchakov, Head of Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, states that in Kharkiv, the FAB-500 with a gliding and correction module was used for the first time. The FAB-500 is twice as powerful as the KAB- and FAB-200 that russia used earlier.

Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

Kharkiv oblast

The General Staff reported about russian attack on northern Kharkiv and as of 1pm, russian guided aerial bombs hit Lyptsi, six – Starytsia, four – Mykolaivka, three more KABs flew to Varvarivka and Vesele, two aerial bombs hit Vovchanski Khutory.

Towards Kharkiv, russia continues to attack near Vovchansk: three attacks were repelled by Ukrainian soldiers, and another was ongoing at 10am. According to the report, there were two battles towards Kupiansk since the beginning of the day near Stepova Novoselivka and Stelmakhivka.

The press service of Kharkiv police reported that russian shelling killed a 56-year-old resident of Varvarivka, Vovchansk community. According to law enforcement officials, the russians attacked in the morning of 28 June when the woman was working in her garden and she died on the spot as a result of her injuries.

Oleh Syniehubov, Head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported that yesterday from 4 to 4:57pm, russians attacked Kharkiv by KAB bombs. 5 private houses, a garage cooperative, an apartment building, and a building of an educational institution were damaged and 5 people injured.

At 3:45pm, russians attacked Pisky-Radkivski village of Borova community, Izium region. They hit an enterprise.

At 3:15pm, russians attacked Hlushkivka village of Kurylivka community, Kupiansk region. As a result of the shelling of the plant, the roof of a residential building burned.

At 3pm, russians attacked Kivsharivka village of Kupiansk community, Kupiansk region. Two houses and a car were damaged as a result of shelling by UMPD D-30. A woman and a man were injured.

At 2:10pm, russians attacked Kruhliakivka village of Kurylivka community, Kupiansk region. A private house was damaged as a result of shelling from an MRLs. A woman was injured.

At 12:50pm, russians attacked Borova community of Izium region. Two people were injured during the construction of fortifications.

At 12:30pm, russians attacked Kozacha Lopan village of Derhachi community, Kharkiv region. A car was damaged.

At 11:05am, russians attacked Oleksandrivka village of Tsyrkuny community, Kharkiv region. As a result of the shelling, a house was burning.

Towards Kharkiv, three enemy assaults near Vovchansk, Lyptsi and Sotnytskyi Kozachok were unsuccessful.

Towards Kupiansk, there were 10 battles. The invaders attacked near Stepova Novoselivka, northeast of Petropavlivka, Pishchane, Stelmakhivka and Andriivka. All attacks were repelled. The defence forces are taking measures to strengthen their borders and prevent the enemy from advancing.

One of the two FAB-500s from the UMPC that hit Kharkiv did not detonate. According to the head of the regional prosecutor’s office, Filchakov, the State Emergency Service has removed the explosive device and is pulling the unexploded shell out of the yard. The UMPC is a new technology of the russian military. It is an electronic module, wings that are connected to an aerial bomb. The coordinates are set there, via satellite, and released from belgorod region according to the coordinates.

Andrii Kanashevych, Head of Kupiansk Regional Administration, reported that Kindrashivska community plans to announce a forced evacuation of children from Monachynivka and Doroshivka due to russian shelling. There are 20 minors who remain there.  Earlier, children have already been evacuated from five settlements of Kindrashivka community.

In Kharkiv oblast, a UAH 500m subvention from the state budget is allocated for the construction of shelters in general secondary education institutions in 2024. Communities are also contributing UAH 80m in funding, specifically Korotych, Lozova, Krasnopavlivka, Blyzniukivka, Natalyn and Chemuzhivka lyceums. 

The offline educational process is scheduled to start on 1 September in Lozova and Krasnohrad regions. It is necessary to purchase an additional 8 school buses for Krasnohrad region and 36 for Lozova region to ensure comfortable transportation of students and a better quality of the full-time educational process.

Donetsk oblast

Donetsk regional Prosecutor’s Office reported that the russian military dropped bombs on Niu-York, injuring three people, including an 8-year-old girl. The child’s condition is assessed as critical.

The National Guard said on Telegram that the National Guard shot down a russian Su-25 attack aircraft in Donetsk oblast.

The press service of Donetsk oblast said that yesterday russia has launched 2367 strikes in the oblast. 13 settlements were bombed: Hirnyk, Kurakhove, Selydove, Siversk, Toretsk, Hrodivka, Druzhba, Zarichne, Niu-York, Pivnichne, Dachne, Karlivka and Yasenove.

60 civilian objects were damaged, including 40 residential buildings, administrative buildings, cafes, shops, a bus station, cars and power lines.

The invaders dropped a KAB-500 bomb on Selydove. Six residents were injured, including two children. Seven apartment buildings, five private houses and four administrative buildings were damaged.

The russian forces hit Yasenove village with Iskander-m multiple rocket launchers, killing one person and injuring another, and damaging a farm.

The enemy shelled Kurakhove with Uragan MRLs, killing two civilians and injuring two others. Two shops and a bus station were damaged.

Toretsk is under continuous fire: russian terrorists hit the city with three KAB-250 bombs and artillery. A man was killed and three residents injured. At least 2 apartment buildings and 7 private houses were damaged.

In Siversk, an artillery strike killed a civilian and destroyed a house.

Two people were injured and 10 private houses damaged in Dachne as a result of shelling from Uragan MRLs. Three more people were injured in Pivnichne, two in Niu-York and one in Hirnyk.

Luhansk oblast

According to Luhansk Regional Military Administration, the invaders struck at the frontline Nevske by multiple rocket launchers and aviation. The invaders are constantly shelling the de-occupied settlements. Makiivka, Stelmakhivka, Kuzemivka and Nevske were under enemy artillery and mortar attack more than 100 times yesterday. 

The enemy attacked 18 times towards Kupiansk and Lyman, specifically, near Stelmakhivka, Andriivka, Nevske and Makiivka. The defence forces are taking measures to reinforce their borders and prevent the enemy from advancing. 

The State Ecological Inspectorate in Luhansk oblast has once again documented crimes against the region’s environment committed by russian armed aggression. The work was carried out directly next to the area of active hostilities and with the use of satellite technology. As a result of the aggressor’s actions, three more educational and cultural facilities in the oblast were completely destroyed, causing more than UAH 500m in environmental damage. The enemy also continues to destroy the forests of Luhansk oblast. Due to large-scale forest fires near Smolianynove village, Sievierodonetsk region, more than 3.7m tonnes of pollutants have been released into the air, causing more than UAH 17bn in damage. In total, since the beginning of 2024, the Inspectorate has calculated the damage caused to the environment by russia to be more than UAH 32bn, and since the beginning of the full-scale war – more than UAH 515bn.

The so-called “people’s council of the luhansk people’s republic” passed a law according to which local collaborators, law enforcers and social workers, will have priority to claim ownerless housing that the occupation authorities are currently “nationalising” as they are looking for empty apartments of Luhansk residents who have evacuated and will not return within 30 days to re-register them.

At the entrance to Rubizhne, the invaders thoroughly check civilians. From time to time, these “security measures” turn into demonstrations. Residents of Rubizhne say that at such times they can wait for five hours.

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

Natasha Pirc Musar, President of Slovenia,  arrived in Kyiv. During the visit, a bilateral security agreement will be signed. Together with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Natasha Pirts Musar honoured the fallen Ukrainian soldiers at the Wall of Remembrance on Mykhailivska Square.

In Brovary region, Mykola Zerov Lyceum, the largest educational institution of Baryshivka community, is undergoing major repairs. In March 2022, the lyceum was significantly damaged by a blast wave during a russian missile attack. According to Kyiv Regional Military Administration, the damaged institution is restored out at the expense of the European Investment Bank.

According to the State Emergency Service of Kyiv oblast, its 35 employees were awarded for their indomitable spirit, courage and professionalism during the elimination of large-scale fires at industrial facilities that arose as a result of enemy shelling.

In Kyiv, on Hrushevskoho Street, another rally in support of prisoners of war took place. So far, the peaceful action “Captivity Kills” has been organized in support of captured marines.

According to Kyiv City State Administration, in Podilskyi district of Kyiv, the first Scandinavian therapy garden in Ukraine was opened. It was created by a team of Danish and Ukrainian designers. The facility will help people who have received mental trauma due to the war to undergo rehabilitation. More than 1,000 local volunteers and international partners were involved in the implementation of the project.

According to Bucha City Council, the personal belongings of the deceased Bucha resident Mykhailo Matiushenko ‘Ghost of Kyiv’ were handed over to the National Museum of the History of Ukraine in World War II. Among the items handed over are a chevron of the 40th Tactical Aviation Brigade, a letter identifying the pilot’s body and personal belongings that were on him at the time of his death – a flashlight, rescue system belts and fragments of a parachute.

Mayor Oleksandr Markushyn says that in Irpin, residents and guests can visit the exhibition Phoenix Cities. Reconstruction of post-war destruction. The exhibition concerns the experience of European countries after the Second World War, which is intertwined with the Ukrainian present.

 Zhytomyr oblast

Zhytomyr Mayor Serhii Sukhomlyn reports that Kharkiv pharmaceutical company is relocating part of its production to Zhytomyr, planning to employ about 200 people. Currently, the company has already purchased the premises in which it will carry out the reconstruction. The company noted that due to russian shelling, production lost about 50% of capacity, in particular, a workshop for production of vaccines against whooping cough, diphtheria and other diseases.

As reported by Zhytomyr City CouncilIn Zhytomyr, the families of the deceased received state and departmental awards of soldiers: the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky and the Order of Courage, the badge of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

In Zhytomyr, three five-storey buildings are being thermally modernized with the funding from the Estonian government. According to the Department of Municipal Development of Zhytomyr City Council, there are three buildings that are more than 50 years old to employ energy efficiency measures there. Now these buildings are undergoing a comprehensive survey.

 Sumy oblast

On the night and morning of June 28, the russian military carried out 4 attacks on border areas and settlements of Sumy oblast. There are 17 explosions – attacks by FPV drones and automatic grenade launchers. Yunakivka, Bilopillia, Shalyhine, and Seredyna-Buda communities were under enemy fire.

Sumy Regional Military Administration reports that the russian army carried out 32 attacks on Sumy oblast – there were a total of 102 explosions. 10 border communities were shelled: Mykolaivka, Khotyn, Yunakivka, Myropillia, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Esman, Seredyna-Buda and Znob-Novhorodske. The enemy used artillery and mortars, FPV drones, launched 4 missiles, and dropped VOG from UAVs. This was reported by the .

Olena Sharkova, Acting Head of the community, reports that on the morning of June 27, the russian army shelled Myropillia community with self-propelled guns. By 7am, there were 9 explosions in the village of Velyka Rybytsia. As a result of the strikes, a local agricultural company was damaged – an office, fences, an elevator, agricultural machinery and garages.

On June 27, there were four attacks in Krasnopillia causing 8 explosions due to FPV drones. As a result of the strikes, a kindergarten building, a shop, a mobile communication tower and two cars were damaged.

In Bachivsk, a critical infrastructure facility was damaged by mortar shelling. In Seredyna-Buda, a TV tower was damaged due to strikes by FPV drones.

According to the regional military administration, 4,000 students of vocational education in Sumy oblast will receive psychosocial support. They noted that due to the full-scale war, the problem of protecting mental health is extremely acute. According to the World Health Organization, 14 million Ukrainians need psychosocial support.

  Chernihiv oblast

According to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, russian troops struck 11 settlements in the border region of Chernihiv oblast. There were 91 explosions – shelling from mortars and barrel artillery, drops of explosive ammunition from UAVs. Semenivka, Snovsk and Horodnia communities were under enemy fire.

Vyacheslav Chaus, Head of Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, says that in Chernihiv oblast, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, russia has damaged or destroyed 350 social infrastructure institutions – schools, kindergartens, hospitals. Over the past year, the enemy fired more than 15,000 shells at the region, this year there are almost 9,000.

To date, 52% of what was damaged by the russians has already been restored, and 20% is in the process of reconstruction. Restoration of social infrastructure facilities is carried out at the expense of both state and local budgets, as well as due to donor assistance.

As of now, 88% of educational institutions in Chernihiv oblast have shelters. This year, 7 schools will be able to improve safety conditions at the expense of the state subvention. German partners will allocate 250,000 euros for shelter in border institutions.

This year, 51% of schoolchildren in Chernihiv oblast were able to study full-time, 39% in a mixed format, and 10% online. 19 schools in the region, which are located 20 km from the border with the russian federation, work exclusively remotely.

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

Mykola Lukashuk, Head of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Council, reported that the enemy attacked Nikopol in the morning. The occupiers launched 4 kamikaze drones at the city. There was a fire, 2 private houses and an outbuilding were damaged.

During the day, the enemy attacked Nikopol more than a dozen times. Two people were injured, a 55-year-old man and a 53-year-old woman, and they received all the necessary medical care. The occupiers were shooting at the region’s center, Pokrovsk, Chervonohryhorivka and Myrove communities. 2 lyceums, a religious institution, an administrative building, 8 private houses, 3 high-rise buildings, an infrastructure facility, outbuildings, 2 cars and a minibus, garages, a greenhouse, gas pipelines and power lines were damaged.

Sinelnykove region was under attack which caused a fire. 6 private houses, non-residential buildings, a gas pipeline and a power line were damaged.

Serhiy Lysak, Head of the RMA, reported that the enemy launched a missile attack on Dnipro. A nine-story building was damaged. Several floors were destroyed. Preliminary, there are wounded.

Vinnytsia oblast

​​16 people took part in a master class on painting shell casings in Vinnytsia. Among them were military personnel and internally displaced persons. The participants created unique works under the guidance of an art teacher. The painted shell casings will be sold at a charity fair in the autumn, and the funds raised will be donated to the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Poltava oblast

The first resilience center in Poltava has been opened. Psychologists and social workers will work with people there, and the services are free of charge.

Cherkasy oblast

In the village of Kniazhyky, Cherkasy oblast, an Alley of Glory was opened for defenders who were killed in action. The alley is located on the territory of the local lyceum.

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast

Ivan Fedorov, Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, reported that on 27 June, the russian army struck eight towns and villages in Zaporizhzhya oblast 324 times. They shelled Huliaipole, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Robotyno, Levadne and Malynivka 150 times. Two people were injured.

Zaporizhzhia State Emergency Service reported that on 27 June, shelling by the russian army caused fires in Huliaipole and Varvarovka in Polohy region. In the village of Varvarovka, which was hit by an air strike, a Renault car and a garage with a total area of 70 m2 caught fire. Two people were injured in the attack. In Huliaipol, shelling caused dry grass to catch fire over an area of 1 hectare.

Representatives of the temporarily occupied ZNPP informed the IAEA experts that the external radiation monitoring station was destroyed by shelling and fire. Rafael Grossi, IAEA Director General, confirmed the shelling of the radiation monitoring station 16 km from the Zaporizhzhia NPP. He noted that this has further reduced the effectiveness of detecting and measuring any radioactive releases during emergencies.

Mykolaiv oblast

Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration reported that on 27 June, the russian army attacked Mykolaiv oblast five times with rockets, MLRS and artillery. On the morning of 27 June, two drivers were injured when rocket fragments fell on the road. On the same day, in the evening, russian troops launched a missile attack on industrial infrastructure. A fire broke out at the site of the strike. Two people were injured. On the night of 28 June, Halytsynivka community was shelled, and a fire broke out there. Ochakiv community came under artillery fire. There were no casualties. 

The press service of Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration reported that Mykolaiv oblast is one of ten regions where the EU-Ukraine Special Assistance Programme for Resilient Regions is being implemented. This is one of the projects implemented by the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) in Ukraine. It aims to support authorised governmental and non-governmental institutions in selected regions of Ukraine to provide needs-based services for basic care and protection of the population. Germany will help to modernise the energy infrastructure of Mykolaiv oblast, in particular in the area of financing the purchase of additional sources of electricity and heat generation. 

Odesa oblast

The Armed Forces of Southern Ukraine said that in the afternoon on 28 June, the russian army fired a ballistic missile at Odesa oblast, allegedly an Iskander-M with a cluster munition. As a result of the hit, a wheat field caught fire. There were no casualties. 

Kherson oblast

According to the prosecutor’s office, on the morning of 28 June, the russian military dropped explosives from a drone in Odradokamyanka, Kherson oblast. A man who was in the garden near his house was killed. 

According to Kherson Regional Military Administration, in the morning of 28 June, the russian army attacked Novokaira in Kherson oblast. A 70-year-old woman and a 58-year-old man were injured. 

 

Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of Kherson Regional Military Administration, reported that on 27 June, russian troops shelled 28 settlements in Kherson oblast. A critical infrastructure facility, a catering facility, shops, 17 private houses, a workshop, an ambulance and private cars were damaged. Six people were injured. 

In the evening of 27 June, the russian army struck Zolota Balka in Kherson oblast. A 67-year-old woman was killed.

On 27 June, russian troops shelled settlements in Beryslav, Kakhovka and Kherson regions with artillery, mortars, aircraft and UAVs. Beryslav and Tyahynka were hit by five multiple rocket launchers. The police showed the consequences of hits on residential buildings and cars. 

Kherson Regional Military Administration reported that volunteers from the Prolisok humanitarian mission evacuated a 96-year-old woman with limited mobility from Beryslav in Kherson oblast. She was taken to a safer area.

Volyn oblast

Deputies of Lutsk City Council have allocated UAH 1.2m to purchase fuel and lubricants for the Lutskspectskomuntrans company due to the reduction of expenses for the landfill of solid household waste. This utility company refuels volunteers’ vehicles.

Zakarpattia oblast

Zakarpattia is hosting the Fifth International Summit Hardened by War. The event in Yasinia community brought together representatives of local authorities, embassies of the European Union and NATO countries, servicemen of the operational commands of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and activists. The participants of the Summit discussed further support for Ukrainians, strengthening the energy security of the region and the country as a whole, as well as exchanged experience in the field of military affairs.

Zakarpattia is the 1st in Ukraine to develop an information guide to enable IDPs to find housing. It contains a list of available places of temporary residence for IDPs. There are also addresses, a brief description and photos of the furnished premises. In addition, the contact information of responsible persons is available.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

Roofing materials were provided by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) for Prykarpattia. It is about 9 rolls of tarpaulin to cover the damaged roofs of Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas, which was hit by a missile. The roofing materials will also be delivered to other parts of the region.

Ivano-Frankivsk sent 20 FPV drones to the 710th Brigade thanks to the budget funds.

Lviv oblast

Lviv RMA, Lviv Customs and the Western Interregional Department of the Ministry of Justice, will sent 5 cars, over 170 laptops, about 140 tablets and smartphones, and over 300 units of other goods (generators, household appliances, equipment and their components, tools, etc.) to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service.

Vasyl Lopushanskyi, military serviceman from Novorozdil community was posthumously awarded with the III degree For Courage Order. His wife received the order. The Hero was killed on 18 December, 2022, near the settlement of Nevske, Luhansk oblast.

In Lviv, a Ukrainian record was set – a copy of the Constitution of Ukraine was laid out of 3,400 cupcakes and cookies. The width of the installation is 2,1 m, the length is 3 m.

Rivne oblast

The 9th evacuation train brought 46 people from Donetsk oblast to Rivne oblast. Among them are 6 children and 2 people with disabilities. They were placed in Rivne region. Evacuees received 1st aid and payments. Over 300 people have come to the oblast since the beginning of the year.

Ternopil oblast

Ternopil City Council reported that workers of the Center for Primary Medical and Sanitary Care sent 7 FPV drones to the 33rd Separate Mechanised Brigade.

According to the Decrees of the President of Ukraine, 20 defenders from Ternopil oblast were posthumously awarded with the III degree Order of Courage for their personal courage and self-sacrifice in the defence of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. Another Hero was posthumously awarded with the Defender of the Fatherland medal.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

A meeting of the executive committee of Khmelnytskyi City Council took place. Considered 46 issues of the agenda. In particular, they sent drones, quadcopters, EW, REP, cars from our communal enterprises (communal property) to military units.

Staroushytsia community received a new school bus due to the assistance from the international non-governmental organization Plan International and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.

Khmelnytskyi City Council reported that in the city a recruiting centre will be open from 10-12 July.

Chernivtsi oblast

Chernivtsi City Council has allocated UAH 7.9m for the needs of Chernivtsi Units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In addition, UAH 24.5m was allocated to ensure the proper functioning of strategically important communal enterprises.

The RMA reported that Kamensk Community allocated UAH 300,000 for the purchase of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to the A4638 Military Unit.

Chernivtsi City Council held a working meeting with Lt. Col. Ihor Isachenko, Commander of the 107th Separate Brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and Vitalii Shafer, Head of Yurkovets community. Defenders received 9 quadcopters from residents of the community.

The Swiss Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that the Federated States of Micronesia joined the Peace Summit communique, becoming the 90th country to sign the joint communique

Jan Dam, Commander of the Danish Air Force, reported that the country undertook to train up to a hundred Ukrainian specialists for the maintenance of F-16 fighters, 50 of them have completed training and are already participating in the training of the 1st aircraft in Ukraine.

Natasha Pirts Musar, President of Slovenia arrived in Kyiv, and together with Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Ukrainian President, commemorated defenders who gave their lives for Ukraine. Slovenia and Ukraine will sign an agreement on security guarantees. The President of Slovenia stated that they continue helping Ukraine as long as it is needed.

PACE called on member states to provide adequate protection for people with disabilities who were forced to leave Ukraine. This assumes that European countries must recognize the disability status, degree of disability, medical and disability certificates of Ukrainian refugees.
