Since the start of the day, the aggressor has attacked the positions of the Ukrainian Defence Forces 57 times.
Artillery shelling of border areas continues. Today, in Sumy oblast, the settlements of Potapivka, Tovstodubove, Korenok, Sopych, Fotovizh, Rohizne, Hirky, Bachivsk, Bezsalivka, Volfyne, Topolia and Brusky were hit.
Towards Northern Sloboda and Kursk, the enemy carried out 37 attacks on settlements and our troops’ positions, including two attacks using multiple launch rocket systems.
Towards Southern Sloboda, the invaders made four attempts to breach the defences towards the settlements of Kozacha Lopan, Petro-Ivanivka, Aniskine and Ivashkine. One engagement is ongoing.
Towards Kupiansk, one enemy attack is ongoing towards Bohuslavka.
Towards Lyman, Ukrainian troops repelled seven attempts by the invaders to advance towards Drobysheve, Ozerny and Novoselivka. One engagement is still ongoing.
Towards Sloviansk, the Defence Forces repelled eight enemy attacks in the areas around the settlements of Kryva Luka, Zakitne, Riznykivka and towards Rai-Oleksandrivka. One engagement is still ongoing.
Towards Kramatorsk, our troops repelled one enemy attack in the direction of Malynivka.
Towards Kostiantynivka, our defenders repelled 13 attacks in the areas around the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Illinivka and towards Stepanivka, Toretsk, Vilne and Novyi Shakhovyi. Four engagements are ongoing.
Towards Pokrovsk, since the start of the day, the occupiers have attempted 15 times to dislodge our troops from their positions in the areas around the settlements of Kotlyne, Udachne, Novomykolaivka and Molodetske, and towards the settlements of Shevchenko, Novyi Donbas and Serhiivka. One engagement is still ongoing.
Towards Oleksandrivka, no enemy offensive actions have been recorded.
Towards Huliaipole, the Defence Forces repelled three enemy attacks towards the settlements of Vozdvizhivka, Tsvitkove and Charivne.
Towards Orikhiv and Kherson, the enemy did not carry out any offensive operations.
In other sectors, there are currently no significant changes in the situation. No attempts by the enemy to advance have been recorded.
Ukrainian troops are wearing down the enemy along the entire line of contact and in the rear.
Veterans, female veterans, and the family members of fallen Defenders of Ukraine are eligible to undertake vocational training, retraining or further professional development free of charge, funded by the state. The programme includes: vocational training and retraining; acquiring a new specialism; professional development; entrepreneurship training; validation of professional qualifications; and master’s degree programmes (subject to holding a bachelor’s degree). To take part, you must select an educational institution and submit an application to the department responsible for veterans’ policy. Veterans also have access to the Veteran’s Career platform, where they can find job vacancies, create a CV and adapt their military experience to a civilian profession.
Ukraine plans to complete the development of its own missile defence system, FREYJA, in the first half of 2027. To this end, FREYJA will serve as a prototype for a European missile defence system, and Ukraine is already calling on its allies to join in its development. The first meeting of the international steering committee, which will determine the level of funding for the project’s research and development, is due to take place shortly.
Recent war events in the east of Ukraine
Kharkiv oblast
Over the past 24 hours, 264 combat engagements were recorded.
▪️ Towards Southern Sloboda, Ukrainian units repelled eleven enemy attacks. The invaders attempted to advance in the areas of Starytsia and Lyman, as well as towards Izbytske, Volokhivka and Okhrymivka.
▪️ Towards Kupiansk, the enemy launched three attacks towards Kupiansk, Podoliv and Kurylivka.
Mayor Ihor Terekhov stated that two people suffered acute stress reactions following the russian Federation’s strike on a petrol station in Saltivskyi district.
A 43-year-old man from Tsupivka suffered blast injuries as a drone struck the road whilst the local resident was cycling. According to Alona Sobolevska, Spokeswoman of Kharkiv Regional Police, this happened this morning. The man was hospitalised.
The State Emergency Service’s press office reported on the morning of 27 July that three people were injured in a russian air strike on Izium. According to the service, fires broke out at the site of the strike, as a result, a metal hangar and a warehouse building, covering a total area of 500 sq m, were on fire.
Over the past 24 hours, the city of Kharkiv and 15 settlements in Kharkiv oblast have come under enemy attack.
▪️As a result of the shelling, one person was killed and 22 were injured.
In Kharkiv, a 40-year-old woman was killed; a 54-year-old man and a 10-year-old boy were injured; and 14 people, including a 17-year-old girl, suffered acute stress reactions; in Izium, a 60-year-old man was injured, whilst a 72-year-old and a 66-year-old woman suffered acute stress reactions; in Lozova, a 50-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man suffered acute stress reactions; in the village of Zolochiv, a 23-year-old man sustained blast injuries.
The enemy launched missile and UAV attacks on Shevchenkivskyi, Slobidskyi, Industrialnyi and Osnovianskyi districts of Kharkiv.
The enemy actively deployed various types of weaponry across Kharkiv oblast:

▪️7 KAB bombs;
▪️7 FAB-500 bombs;
▪️1 ‘Geran-2’ type UAV;
▪️12 ‘Molniya’ type UAVs;

Civilian infrastructure has been damaged and destroyed:
▪️in Kharkiv, a car and 20 private houses were damaged;
▪️in Bohodukhiv region, an administrative building (Klenove village), a block of flats, a private house, outbuildings, an educational establishment (Odnorobivka village), a block of flats (Klynova-Novoselivka village), a private house (Tsapivka village), two private houses, a block of flats (Petrivka village), a private house, outbuildings (Liutivka village) and a warehouse (Dovzhik village);
▪️in Izium region, a warehouse, a private house, a petrol station and 40 garages were damaged (Izium);
▪️in Kharkiv region, a private house was damaged (Nova Kozacha);
▪️in Lozova region, a private house was damaged (Lozova);
▪️in Chuhuiv region, a medical clinic and two cars were damaged (Kamiana Yaruha).
At least nine people were killed as a result of russian strikes on Kharkiv oblast between 20 and 26 July. In addition, a man who had been injured in the attack on the postal terminal in Novyi Korotych on 19 July died in hospital on 23 July. At least a further 94 people suffered injuries or acute stress reactions, whilst three people were injured when a car struck an explosive device in Berezivka, Zolochiv community.
The transit evacuation centre in Lozova received 66 people over the past 24 hours.
A total of 47,889 people have been registered at the centre since it began operating.
Donetsk oblast
Frontline
26 July
Towards Pokrovsk, the Defence Forces repelled 38 russian attacks. Towards Lyman, Ukrainian forces repelled 20 assaults in the areas of Lyman, Stavky, Dibrova and Ozernoye, as well as in the directions of Olhivka, Novyi Myr, Novomykhailivka, Yampil, Shyikivka, Novoselivka and Drobysheve. Ten attacks were recorded in this sector the day before. The enemy carried out a further 20 assaults towards Sloviansk.
27 July
Towards Pokrovsk, russian forces are continuing their attrition tactics, attempting to pinpoint the positions of Ukrainian units and UAV operators. The enemy is concentrating infantry in the areas around Udachnoye and Kotlyno and is deploying large numbers of low-cost drones, with the total number potentially reaching hundreds per day.
The Ukrainian military, using BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launchers, destroyed a concentration of russian infantry that was preparing for an assault. Russian servicemen are also regularly taken prisoner in this sector, the majority of whom are conscripted prisoners.
Attacks
27 July
At 9:20am, russian forces struck a passenger coach in the Cherevkivka neighbourhood of Sloviansk. Two women were injured and both hospitalised.
In the morning, russian forces carried out a series of air strikes on Kramatorsk and Bilenke. At around 4:22am, a guided aerial bomb struck Bilenke, injuring a 67-year-old woman.
Between 4:44 and 4:53am, russian aircraft dropped three FAB-250 bombs with guidance and correction modules on one of Kramatorsk residential areas. Two women, aged 63 and 47, were injured. Six high-rise buildings, two educational establishments and 12 cars were damaged.
26 July
According to police reports, russian forces carried out 1,071 strikes along the front line and in residential areas. Dobropillia, Kramatorsk, Sloviansk, Bilenke and Donetsk were under attack. 11 civilian sites were damaged, including eight residential buildings.
One person was injured in Dobropillia. In Sloviansk, an apartment block and an infrastructure facility were damaged; in Bilenke, an apartment block and five private houses were damaged; and in Donetsk, an apartment block was damaged.
Luhansk oblast
Combat operations
Russian troops shelled Ukrainian positions and settlements 25 times. The enemy used barrel artillery 13 times, mortars four times, automatic grenade launchers twice, carried out six explosive drops from drones, and also launched attacks using FPV drones. Towards Lyman, the Defence Forces repelled 20 assaults near 11 settlements.
Occupation
The occupying authorities have placed only around 6,000 residents of the so-called “lpr” on the waiting list for relocation from substandard housing. Instead of providing those affected with new housing, the occupiers are mainly carrying out cosmetic repairs to partially intact buildings and demolishing those that have been destroyed.
In the temporarily occupied towns of Novodruzhesk and Pryvillia, some residents have been living without a stable supply of electricity and water for over four years.
What is happening now in the north of Ukraine
Kyiv oblast
The death toll from the Russian missile strike on a gathering of representatives of Ukraine’s defense industry in Bucha District has risen to 11. A 66-year-old Ukrainian citizen and diplomat of the Sovereign Order of Malta died in hospital from injuries sustained in the attack, according to the Office of the Prosecutor General.
On July 28, Kyiv will host a screening of the documentary project “Olenivka. Letters,” dedicated to the fourth anniversary of the Olenivka tragedy. The film consists of five episodes, combining personal letters from the families of those killed and captured with eyewitness testimonies and expert commentary, according to Detector Media. The screening will be followed by a discussion on remembrance, documenting the war crime, and efforts to secure the return of Ukrainian prisoners of war.
The “United by Golf” adaptive golf tournament for veterans took place in Kyiv Oblast. Thirty-five war veterans from across Ukraine participated in the event. Defenders tested their skills in adaptive golf, connected with fellow service members, exchanged experiences, and spent the day in an atmosphere of friendship and mutual support, according to the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.
Zhytomyr oblast
The State Emergency Service reported that on 27 July, a strike UAV hit a civilian infrastructure facility in Sumy. The strike set a warehouse building on fire. Despite the threat of repeated attacks and a temporary suspension of operations, firefighters succeeded in extinguishing the blaze.
Serhii Kryvosheienko, Head of Sumy City Military Administration, said on 27 July that a 72-year-old man was injured when a jet-powered Shahed UAV struck a warehouse in Kovpakivskyi district of Sumy. The injured man was outside near the impact site at the time of the strike. He is currently receiving hospital treatment.
The Regional Military Administration informed that on the evening of 26 July, russian forces attacked infrastructure and residential areas of Sumy community by seven guided aerial bombs. A 15-year-old girl, a 39-year-old man and a 58-year-old woman were injured, while a 70-year-old woman suffered an acute stress reaction. Infrastructure facilities and vehicles were damaged. According to the State Emergency Service, enemy drones also struck one of the city’s enterprises and a shopping centre in Sumy.
Artem Kobzar, Acting Mayor of Sumy, reported that more than 30 buildings were damaged in russian guided aerial bomb strikes on the city on 26 July. One woman was hospitalised, while five others are receiving outpatient treatment. One of the strikes killed a dog that had been tied up a few metres from the impact site. Damage to the power grid left some consumers without electricity and partially disrupted the water supply.
Serhii Kryvosheienko, Head of Sumy City Military Administration, said that on the evening of 26 July, a 34-year-old woman was injured in a Molniya UAV strike in a park area of Zarichnyi district in Sumy. She received medical assistance at the scene. The glazing of a café was also damaged.
The State Emergency Service informed on the morning of 27 July that in Shostka community, the enemy struck a five-storey apartment building. A russian drone also hit a private residential house, setting its roof on fire. Firefighters extinguished all fires. No people were injured. In addition, russian forces struck the premises of a vehicle repair station in Sumy, where firefighters also extinguished the blaze.
According to the Regional Military Administration, between the morning of 26 July and the morning of 27 July, russian forces carried out nearly 80 attacks on 24 settlements across 20 territorial communities in Sumy oblast. The highest number of attacks was recorded in Sumy and Shostka regions. The enemy used mortars, artillery, FPV drones, UAVs and guided aerial bombs. Air raid alerts were in effect across the oblast for 22 hours and 10 minutes during the day.
According to the RMA, nine civilians, including one child, were injured in russian attacks across Sumy oblast over the past 24 hours. The following damage was also recorded:
- In Sumy community, four people, including a 15-year-old girl, were injured in a guided aerial bomb strike. A woman and a man were injured when an enemy drone struck a vehicle. Another woman was injured in a UAV strike. Private residential houses, non-residential premises, a shopping centre and civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged.
- In Shostka community, two people were injured in UAV strikes. An apartment building, a shop building and a civilian infrastructure facility were damaged.
- In Berezivka community, private residential houses and a vehicle were damaged.
- In Kyrykivka community, a private residential house was damaged.
- In Mykolaivka rural community, a private residential house and a vehicle were damaged.
- In Znob-Novhorodske community, a private residential house and outbuildings were destroyed, while a passenger car was damaged.
- In Bilopillia community, a private residential house and a shop building were damaged.
- In Putyvl community, a private residential house was damaged.
- In Duboviazivka community, an agricultural building was damaged.
- In Hlukhiv community, a warehouse, a private residential house and outbuildings were damaged.
- In Seredyna-Buda community, private residential houses were destroyed.
The Regional Military Administration also reported that a man was injured in Velyka Pysarivka community on 25 July when an enemy drone struck a vehicle.
The National Police Department of Sumy oblast informed that the White Angel special police unit evacuated seven people from border communities. In Velyka Pysarivka community, a russian drone attacked a 44-year-old man who had cycled to check on his apiary. He was taken to hospital. Due to constant shelling, a 69-year-old woman, a 26-year-old mother with her infant, and her 19-year-old sister were evacuated from Vorozhba community. A 77-year-old woman and an 84-year-old man were evacuated from Buryn community.
According to the State Emergency Service, its explosive ordnance disposal teams destroyed 77 items of unexploded ordnance in Sumy oblast over the past week. The hazardous items were found in Sumy, Konotop, Romny, Okhtyrka and Shostka regions. Since the beginning of the year, a total of 1,439 explosive objects have been discovered across the oblast.
Chernihiv oblast
Viacheslav Chaus, Head of Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, reported that between 20 and 26 July, units of the Defence Forces shot down 193 russian strike drones over Chernihiv oblast, while another 50 were neutralised by electronic warfare systems. According to Chaus, russian forces are increasingly using jet-powered drones and continue to target people, homes, businesses and critical infrastructure with strike UAVs.
Viacheslav Chaus, Head of the Regional Military Administration, said that the number of people injured in the 26 July jet-powered drone attack on a supermarket in Chernihiv had risen to 25. Four children were among the injured. A 10-year-old boy remains in hospital, while an 11-year-old boy, a 17-year-old boy and a girl aged nearly two were also injured. A total of 12 people remain in hospital, four of them in a serious condition. On the evening of 26 July, emergency responders completed the recovery operation following the russian strike on ATB supermarket. The attack killed two people, a nine-year-old child and a 23-year-old woman.
Viacheslav Chaus also informed that on 26 July, the enemy struck a vehicle repair station in Chernihiv by a drone, destroying the facility and the vehicles inside. Later, russian forces attacked an enterprise, causing a fire. In the evening, they struck the premises of a food industry facility, injuring a 48-year-old man, who remains in hospital.
The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine reported that the 26 July strike on ATB supermarket in Chernihiv was carried out by russian military personnel from Combat Group No. 3 of the Separate GROM “Kaskad” Unmanned Aviation Brigade. The group commander was identified as Siergunin A.O. According to the agency, Heran-4 jet-powered UAV used in the attack was equipped with a video camera and launched from a drone base in Navlia, Briansk oblast. The identification of the direct perpetrators of the attack and other individuals involved is ongoing, the statement said.
Chernihiv Border Guard Detachment informed that on 26 July, russian forces attacked five settlements in Semenivka and Horodnia border communities. The enemy carried out mortar attacks (six explosions), tube artillery strikes (four explosions), and attacks using a Gerbera UAV (one explosion) and FPV drones (five explosions).
Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine
Dnipropetrovsk oblast
15 enemy UAVs were shot down over the oblast overnight.
Dnipro. The russian forces attacked Dnipro by UAVs. 2 apartment buildings, 7 vehicles, a shop, an enterprise and retail pavilions were damaged.
Nikopol region. The occupiers attacked the regional centre and Marhanets community by drones and artillery. A 59-year-old woman was injured. A fire broke out. 5 apartment buildings, 2 private houses, a kindergarten, a bread kiosk and a power line were damaged. A 6-year-old boy was injured as a result of the evening attacks. A house and outbuildings were damaged.
Synelnykove region. A house was destroyed in Dubovykivka community as a result of a KAB strike.
A gymnasium was destroyed in Vasylkivka community as a result of a KAB strike.
Synelnykove was attacked by UAVs. A fire broke out at an enterprise.
Pavlohrad region. A UAV attack caused a fire in Pavlohrad.
Nikopol region. 2 people were killed. 5 people were injured. The occupiers attacked the regional centre, Chervonohryhorivka, Pokrovske rural, Tomakivka and Marhanets communities by artillery and drones. Fires broke out. 5 apartment buildings, a private house, a shop, a healthcare facility, an enterprise, a minibus, 12 vehicles and an unused building were damaged.
Kryvyi Rih region. The enemy attacked Zelenodolsk, Apostolove, Hrushivka, Devladove and Vakulivka communities by UAVs. Fires broke out. An administrative building, vehicles and infrastructure were damaged.
Kamianske region. UAVs attacked Zatyshnianka and Bozhedarivka communities. Fires broke out. Infrastructure was damaged.
Pavlohrad region. A man was injured as a result of a UAV attack in Pavlohrad. A fire broke out on the premises of an enterprise.
Synelnykove region. A fire broke out in Mykolaivka community as a result of a UAV attack. A woman was killed in Dubovykivka community as a result of the overnight attack.
Kirovohrad oblast
Residents of Haivoron community in Kirovohrad oblast paid tribute to Junior Sergeant Andrii Moroz, whose call sign was Elf. He had been considered missing in action since 27 July 2024. A DNA examination has now confirmed that the serviceman was killed while carrying out a combat mission near the settlement of Urozhaine, Donetsk oblast.
Poltava oblast
Residents of Horishni Plavni community and Lubny will pay tribute to servicemen Yevhenii Mukovoz and Oleh Ponomarov.
Yevhenii Mukovoz was killed on 5 May 2025, while carrying out a combat mission near Tarasivka settlement, Donetsk oblast.
Oleh Ponomarov was killed on 22 February 2025, while carrying out a combat mission in Sumy direction of the front.
2 servicemen whose deaths were confirmed through DNA examination will be laid to rest in Poltava oblast. They are soldiers Mykola Kalinka from Reshetylivka community and Yurii Truskalo from Bilotserkivka territorial community.
Mykola Kalinka was killed on 1 September 2024, while carrying out a combat mission near Novohrodivka settlement, Donetsk oblast.
The free Veteran Circle programme is being implemented in Poltava oblast. As part of the project, veterans and their family members will be able to receive training in various specialities, including open data analytics specialist, marketing manager and project manager in the social sector.
Dmytro Slepkan from Poltava is preparing to run a half marathon. The 32-year-old man is a State Emergency Service deminer who lost his sight while carrying out demining operations in Donetsk oblast. The visually impaired athlete will complete the 21-kilometre race together with his guide runner, veteran Dmytro Kerbut.
Cherkasy oblast
Residents of Cherkasy oblast today paid tribute to 2 defenders: Mykola Sokurenko and Stanislav Pyvovar.
On 5 May 2023, while carrying out a combat mission near Bakhmut and evacuating wounded comrades, Mykola Sokurenko came under mortar attack. He had long been considered missing in action.
Stanislav Pyvovar was killed on 29 April 2024, near Semenivka settlement in Pokrovsk region, Donetsk oblast.
The Chaplaincy Service of the 118th Separate Territorial Defence Brigade from Cherkasy oblast won the final of the Order of Saint Panteleimon in the special nomination Greatness of Ukraine.

Zaporizhzhia oblast
Today, 27 July, russian forces attacked Zaporizhzhia twice with guided aerial bombs (KABs). The first strike destroyed and damaged homes in one of the city’s private residential neighborhoods. One man was killed, while another was rescued from under the rubble. At around 11:00 am, russian forces launched a second strike on the city. Three people were injured. Private homes and residents’ vehicles were damaged.
Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration reported that yesterday, 26 July, russian forces carried out 917 strikes on 45 settlements across Zaporizhzhia oblast. russian troops launched 22 airstrikes on Zaporizhzhia, Malokaterynivka, Liubytske, Yasna Poliana, Zarichne, Zelena Dibrova, Orikhiv, Chervona Krynytsia, Novoandriivka, Mykilske, Chervonyi Yar, Novopavlivka, Preobrazhenka, Shevchenkivske, and Zelene. 634 UAVs of various types (mostly FPV drones) attacked Zaporizhzhia, Ternuvate, Bilenke, Antonivka, Hryhorivka, Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Stepove, Pavlivka, Lukianivske, Mali Shcherbaky, Orikhiv, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Bilohiria, Huliaipilske, Vozdvyzhivka, Rybne, Hirke, Varvarivka, Dobropillia, Pryluky, Staroukrainka, Sviatopetrivka, Tsvitkove, Preobrazhenka, Novoselivka, Kosivtseve, Nove Zaporizhzhia, and Verkhnia Tersa. russian forces also carried out 261 artillery strikes targeting Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Stepove, Pavlivka, Lukianivske, Mali Shcherbaky, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Bilohiria, Sviatopetrivka, Dobropillia, Pryluky, Rybne, Tsvitkove, Huliaipilske, and Staroukrainka. Authorities received 124 reports of damage to infrastructure, homes, and vehicles. Two men were killed, and 13 people were injured as a result of russian strikes on Zaporizhzhia.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as of 4:00 pm on 27 July, Ukrainian Defense Forces were repelling three russian attacks near Vozdvyzhivka, Tsvitkove, and Charivne towards Huliaipole. On 26 July, the Defense Forces repelled 15 russian attacks towards Huliaipole and three more towards Orikhiv.
Mykolaiv oblast
During the day on 27 July, the russian army attacked Mykolaiv with strike drones. The Air Force had warned about a jet-powered UAV heading toward the city.
According to Mykolaiv RMA, yesterday and this morning the enemy attacked the region with Shahed strike drones. The port infrastructure of Mykolaiv region was targeted. As a result of the morning attack on the port infrastructure, a 48-year-old man was killed, while a 50-year-old man was injured and hospitalized in critical condition. Three civilian vessels were also damaged.
Yesterday and this morning, the enemy also attacked Snihurivka community with Molniya strike drones. One of the attacks in the village of Yevhenivka injured a 45-year-old woman and a 57-year-old man. A commercial building was damaged.
Yesterday, the enemy launched three FPV drone attacks on Ochakiv community. No casualties were reported.
Odesa oblast
During an air raid alert on 27 July, a series of explosions was heard in Odesa. Shortly beforehand, the Air Force reported two missiles heading toward the city. There is currently no information on the consequences of the attack or any casualties.
According to the Ukrainian Sea Ports Administration, the vessel GOLDEN LEO, which was struck in a russian attack near Odesa on 19 July, sunk. There were no crew members on board at the time it went down. According to the administration, the vessel sustained severe damage to its hull and superstructure in the attack, causing it to lose its seaworthiness before eventually sinking.
Kherson oblast
According to the Head of Kherson RMA, Oleksandr Prokudin, a man was killed in the Korabelnyi district of Kherson after triggering a russian explosive device. The victim, whose identity is still being established, picked up a PFM-1 “Butterfly” anti-personnel landmine. The explosive detonated, and he died at the scene from his injuries.
Kherson Regional Military Administration also reported that a woman who had been injured in a russian drone attack on Korabelnyi district of Kherson on 20 July died in hospital. Doctors fought to save the 47-year-old woman’s life, but her injuries proved fatal.
Today, 27 July, at approximately 8:30 am, russian forces shelled Dniprovskyi district of Kherson with artillery. As a result of the attack, an 88-year-old woman sustained blast injuries and second- and third-degree burns covering 60% of her head, torso, and upper and lower limbs. At around the same time, russian forces struck a civilian vehicle with a drone. A 68-year-old man suffered shrapnel wounds to his face and arm, a concussion, blast injuries, and a closed traumatic brain injury.

Today, four residents of Kherson community sought medical assistance for injuries sustained in previous russian attacks. A 77-year-old resident of Komyshany was injured during a russian artillery strike on 23 July. Two other women, aged 55 and 31, were injured in russian drone attacks on Pryozerne and Korabelnyi district of Kherson on 25 July. A man who was injured in a russian airstrike on Dniprovskyi district of Kherson the previous day was diagnosed with blast injuries.
According to the POlice of Khersonoblast, on 26 July russian attacks targeted Kherson, Poniativka, Daryivka, Chaichyne, Inhulets, Vitrove, Stepanivka, Antonivka, Mykilske, Veletenske, Tomyna Balka, Pryozerne, Novodmytrivka, Zymivnyk, Stanislav, Oleksandrivka, Shyroka Balka, Sofiivka, Urozhaine, Myroliubivka, Rakivka, Novoraisk, Zolota Balka, Kucherske, Novovoskresenske, Osokorivka, Kozatske, and Vesele. The attacks damaged 13 apartment buildings, six private homes, a critical infrastructure facility, an educational institution, an emergency medical service vehicle, four civilian cars, and an outbuilding. One person was killed and 12 others were injured as a result of the russian shelling.
