On 25 October, the total number of combat clashes along the entire front line was 125. The occupiers continue to employ aviation, in particular anti-aircraft missiles, and carry out attacks in all directions of the east and south of Ukraine, especially actively towards Pokrovsk and Kurakhove. The defense forces hold the lines and take some measures to prevent the defense from breaking through.
The occupier used artillery and aviation in Chernihiv and Sumy oblasts. Novovasylivka, Stara Huta, Basivka, Liskivshchyna, Pokrovka, Ulanovka, Boiaro-Lezhachi and Bobylivka were under enemy fire. Enemy aircraft struck Bobylivka settlement.
According to currently available information, the enemy carried out 18 airstrikes on the territory of Kursk oblast, using 24 air defense systems.
Two combat clashes occurred Kharkiv. russian attacks were repelled towards Vovchansk.
Two assault actions of the invaders were repelled near Holubivka towards Kupiansk. There is a battle in the vicinity of Vyshneve.
Towards Lyman, the enemy is attacking in the vicinity of Hrekivka, Terny, and Torske. There were 19 clashes in this area, of which four are still ongoing.

Towards Toretsk, the enemy, with the support of attack and bomber aircraft, attacked the positions of Ukrainian troops, fighting continues in the vicinity of Toretsk. Enemy aviation struck Toretsk, Druzhba, Troitske and Katerynivka, dropping five KABs.
It is the hottest towards Pokrovsk. Fierce battles are taking place near Selydove, Krasnyi Yar, Krutyi Yar, Lysivka and Myroliubivka. The enemy made 35 attempts to storm Ukrainian positions.
Towards Kurakhove, five clashes are ongoing in the vicinity of Hostre, Katerynivka and Novodmytrivka. Twenty enemy assaults were repulsed by Ukrainian defenders.
Towards Vremivka, ten enemy assaults were repulsed near Bohoiavlenka and Novoukrainka, seven enemy assaults continue.
Towards Orihiv, the invaders used aviation in the vicinity of Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, and Mala Tokmachka settlements, they dropped 13KABs.
Towards Kherson, the occupiers once tried to dislodge Ukrainian units from their positions, but were repulsed.
Dmytro Lubinets, Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights, says that Qatar handed over to Ukraine lists of servicemen who have gone missing, as well as letters from Ukrainian prisoners of war to their families. The parties also worked out agreements on assistance to civilians who found themselves in a difficult life situation.
Volodymyr Tymoshko, the head of the Kharkiv Oblast GUNP, informs that since October 1, 2024, russia has dropped 300 guided aerial bombs on Kharkiv oblast. Of them, only 50 aerial bombs were dropped in one day.
Recent war events in the east of Ukraine
Kharkiv oblast
Towards Kharkiv, the enemy attacked eight times near Vovchansk and Starytsia.
Towards Kupiansk, there were 14 attacks. Defence forces repelled enemy assaults near Holubivka, Pishchane, Lozova, Kruhlyakivka, Novoosynove, Kolisnykivka and Vyshneve.
In Kharkiv regiont, as a result of shelling of Cherkaska Lozova of Malodanylivka territorial community, grass burned over an area of 150 m².
In Kupiansk, an apartment building was destroyed by russian shelling. A 2-storey commercial building was partially destroyed by an ODAB 1500 air strike, and 12 kiosks, a government building and a kindergarten, as well as several residential buildings were damaged. A 73-year-old woman was killed and 10 people were injured.
In Izium region, the enemy damaged a private house, a garage and a fence in Borivska Andriivka of Borova community.
On the evening of 24 October, the occupiers struck the village of Cherkaska Lozova in Kharkiv region. As a result of the hit, grass was burning in an open area. There was no information about the victims.
Oleh Syniehubov, Head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, says that in 20 tactical air raids on 24 October, russians dropped 50 guided bombs on Kharkiv oblast. According to Volodymyr Tymoshko, Head of Kharkiv regional police, the russian army has dropped a total of 300 unmanned aerial vehicles in the region since 1 October.
the regional military administration said that as a result of increased evacuation measures, 110 people (including 11 children) were evacuated from Kupiansk and Borova directions over the day. Almost 4,500 residents, including 244 children, remain in Borova community in Izyum region. In particular, there are 1698 adults and 40 children in Borova. 100-150 people are taken from the left bank of Kupiansk region every day.
On 24 October, Kharkiv paid tribute to climber Maksym Petrenko, who was killed near Bakhmut. The Kharkiv resident was killed on 15 October during a mortar attack in the battle for Toretsk in Donetsk oblast. He joined the Armed Forces in the summer of 2024 and was a professional climber.
In Berestyn and Lozova regions, salaries will be increased for young teachers under the age of 35 and subject teachers who work and teach children despite the challenges of war. From the beginning of November, their salaries will be increased to UAH 25,000 and UAH 30,000 respectively.
Donetsk oblast
Vadym Filashkin, Head of Donetsk Military Administration, reports that on 24 October, russians killed 5 residents of Donetsk oblast: two in Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka, two in Zelene and one in Dachenske.
In total, russians fired 12 times at settlements in Donetsk oblast over the last day.
As of the morning of 25 October, the consequences of russian shelling in Pokrovsk region: private houses were damaged in Kurakhove, a kindergarten in Kurakhivka, 5 houses in Dachne, and 2 more in Veselyi Hai. In Pokrovsk community in Zelene, 2 people were killed and 3 houses damaged; in Dachne, 1 person was killed and 1 house damaged.
In Kostiantynivka, Kramatorsk region, 3 houses, an administrative building, a power line and 2 cars were damaged. In Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka, 2 people were killed and 1 injured, and the premises of Nova Poshta and administrative buildings were damaged.
Bakhmut region: 4 houses were damaged in Siversk, 4 more in Riznykivka; 9 private houses, a multi-storey building and 2 warehouses were damaged in Chasiv Yar community.
Serhii Dobriak, Head of Pokrovsk city military administration, says that a tiered defence is being built in Pokrovsk community. Thus, according to him, the southern and western parts of the city of Pokrovsk are completely closed off from the Russian army.
Ihor Smeliansky, CEO of Ukrposhta, reports that another closed Ukrposhta branch was destroyed during shelling in Donetsk oblast. On 24 October alone, Ukrposhta lost two offices in Donetsk oblast. One of them is in the town of Kurakhove. It was closed a couple of weeks ago, so there were no casualties. The second branch was lost in Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka.
Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office reports that law enforcers in Donetsk oblast are investigating 18 criminal proceedings over the shooting of captured Ukrainian servicemen. In the case of the murder near Selidove, the names of four killed National Guard soldiers have already been identified. The names of the specific people who committed the crime are being established, and investigative and search activities are ongoing.
Donetsk Regional Military Administration says that 228 people were evacuated from the frontline, including 20 children.
Most of the evacuation requests come from Pokrovsk region – from Pokrovsk and Rodynske. There are also requests from Myrnohrad and Dobropillia. According to Yaroslav Kornienko, coordinator of the evacuation department of the charity organisation, evacuations are taking place every day. All evacuees are taken to a transit centre in Dnipropetrovsk oblast, where people are helped to build a further logistical route. They can also use the option of state resettlement in safer regions of Ukraine.
Pavlo Diachenko, Head of Donetsk regional police communications department, informs that evacuation of people from Selydove community is ongoing. It takes place in coordination with the Ukrainian military, who give permission to enter the area of the settlement.
Luhansk oblast
During the night, the Ukrainian Drone Systems units, in coordination with other units, successfully targeted a russian Buk-M3 surface-to-air missile system and destroyed a Buk-M2 target illumination and missile guidance radar on temporarily occupied territory in Luhansk oblast. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, these targets were located several dozen kilometres from the front line.
Artem Lysohor, Head of Luhansk Regional Military Administration, reported that a 68-year-old man was killed in a russian strike on Balka Zhuravka village in Luhansk oblast. Two injured residents from the village are currently receiving necessary medical assistance in Sloviansk. According to Artem Lysohor, russian forces are continuously shelling Balka Zhuravka and its surrounding areas using artillery, drones, and Grad rocket systems.
According to Artem Lysohor, Head of Luhansk Regional Military Administration, the number of cadets at the “Margelov Cossack Cadet Corps,” which the occupying forces have established in Starobilsk, will increase fivefold. Currently, about 100 children aged 12 and older are undergoing military training there. Once new facilities are completed, the institution will host 500 children. After graduation, they will be obligated to sign a contract with the russian army or, if eligible, enter russian military academies.
In Lubny, Poltava oblast, the first Veteran Development Center for Luhansk oblast has been opened. Its mission is to facilitate the socialisation of Ukrainian soldiers into society, providing opportunities for education, retraining, and acquiring new skills for peaceful living. The centre will operate based at Taras Shevchenko University, which has been involved in the rehabilitation of veterans since 2014.
What is happening now in the north of Ukraine
Kyiv oblast
Ruslan Kravchenko, Head of the regional military administration, reported that russian troops attacked Kyiv oblast with drones at night. As a result of the fall of debris in one of the districts, a grass flooring caught fire. In another area, the wreckage of an enemy UAV damaged a power line and caused a fire in the dead wood. The fire was quickly extinguished.
KCMA reported that as a result of the russian attack, the wreckage of downed drones was found in Darnytsia district of Kyiv. An open area, trees and grass were burning at the crash site. In total, the Air Defence Forces destroyed up to fifteen russian drones that attacked the capital during the night.
According to the Mobile Rescue Centre of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the sappers of the State Emergency Service seized a warhead of a russian drone ‘Geranium-2’ in Kyiv oblast. The pyrotechnic team was working to eliminate the consequences of shelling in Boryspil district of Kyiv oblast.

Military attachés from 24 countries visited Bucha. According to the city council, the delegation included representatives of the United States, the United Kingdom, Poland, Canada, the Baltic States, Scandinavia and other European countries, as well as Japan, NATO and the EU. At the Church of St Andrew the First-Called, they viewed photo documents of the russian occupation and paid tribute to 509 killed Bucha residents at the memorial installation where their names are engraved.
Communities of Kyiv oblast will appeal to their foreign partners to support the Victory Plan, which the President presented at an expanded meeting of the Presidium of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities. Kyiv Regional Military Administration is preparing similar appeals to its partner regions – the US states of Washington and Utah, the French region of Ile-de-France, the Italian region of Tuscany, and others.
The Vcentri Hub in Kyiv organises canisterapy classes for military personnel, veterans and families of prisoners of war. This is a method of rehabilitation with the help of specially trained dogs, which includes treatment, rehabilitation and psychotherapy. Classes are held every Thursday at the Vcentri Hub: Obolon.
Zhytomyr oblast
A briefing on recruitment to the 100th separate mechanised brigade was held at the official media centre of Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration. In particular, the recruitment algorithm, brigade structure and brigade manning system were discussed.
Zhytomyr Regional Employment Centre reported that this year, 423 people in Zhytomyr oblast received microgrants to start or develop their own businesses totalling almost UAH 102 million, which implies the creation of 832 new jobs.
Hanna Dudik, Director of Zhytomyr Lyceum No. 24, announced that the students raised money to buy a car for their history teacher Vitalii Kolomiiets, who has been serving in the Armed Forces since 2022. The money was raised at a fair where they sold handmade sweets and crafts. The car’s trunk was filled with medicines, snacks and amulets.
Sumy oblast
Sumy RMA reported that during night and morning, russians carried out 7 shelling attacks on border areas and settlements in Sumy oblast, resulting in 11 explosions. The attacks targeted Khotin, Velyka Pysarivka, Seredyna-Buda, Znob-Novhorod communities.
During the day, on 24 October, russians carried out 47 shelling attacks on border areas and settlements in Sumy oblast, resulting in 108 explosions. The attacks targeted 10 communities: Khotin, Yunakivka, Bilopollia, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Nova Slobidka, Shalyhyne, Esman, Svesa, Seredyna-Buda communities.
Seredyna-Buda community: the enemy fired by mortars (1 explosion), MLPS (5 explosions). A private house was damaged as a result of mortar shelling.
Khotin community: GAB airstrike was carried out (4 explosions).
Bilopillia community: FPV-drone fire (1 explosion), artillery fire (2 explosions).
Krasnopillia community: russians dropped 22 mines on the territory of the community. There were also shelling by FPV-drones (6 explosions), grenade launcher shelling (SG) (7 explosions), artillery shelling (10 explosions) and the dropping of explosive devices from UAVs (3 explosions).
Yunakivka community: the enemy hit by artillery (self-propelled artillery) (20 explosions).
Esman community: russians fired artillery (3 explosions).
Velyka Pysarivka community: an airstrike (GAB) (1 explosion), shelling by FPV-drones (4 explosions) was recorded, as a result of which a residential building caught fire.
Shalyhyne community: artillery shelling (6 explosions), shelling by FPV-drones (2 explosions).
Esman community: fired by FPV drones (3 explosions).
Nova Slobidka community: shelling by FPV-drones (7 explosions).

On 24 October, Sumy paid tribute to three members of Kushnariov family— mother, daughter, and aunt — who lost their lives due to a russian drone attack on the residential sector in Sumy on 22 October. The youngest victim, Anna Kushnariova, was just 14 years old.
Sumy RMA reported that Sumy oblast received 33 generators from the Polish State Agency for Strategic Reserves. The main goal of this project is to provide frontline areas, social facilities, healthcare institutions, resilience centres, and other critical infrastructure with a reliable power supply.
Chernihiv oblast
The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported that throughout 24 October, russian forces attacked five border villages in Semenivka community. The enemy used mortars, artillery, grenade launchers, drones, tanks, and FPV-drones. A total of 46 explosions were recorded.
– 4 hits by mortars and FPV-drones towards Leonivka;
– 11 hits by a tank and drops of explosive devices from an unmanned aerial vehicle towards Yanzhulivka village;
– 17 hits by a rack-mounted automatic grenade launcher in Bleshnia;
– 8 mortar strikes towards Arkhypivka;
– 6 hits by barrel artillery and dropping explosive devices from unmanned aerial vehicles towards Mykolaivka village.
Egils Helmanis, Head of the Ogre Regional Council from Latvia, visited Chernihiv oblast and delivered 27 vehicles for Ukrainian defenders. The Chernihiv Regional Hospital will receive a bus to support a mobile medical unit in frontline areas. According to the head of the regional military administration, Viacheslav Chaus, since the start of the full-scale war, the Ogre Council of the Republic of Latvia and Egils Helmanis have sent over 120 SUVs to Ukraine, along with supplies for the education and healthcare sectors.
At Taras Shevchenko National University “Chernihiv Collegium,” participants were unable to complete the National Unity Radio Dictation due to an air raid alert. Professors, vice-rectors, students, and schoolchildren had gathered at the university to write the dictation.
According to a survey conducted by the Rating Sociological Group from 11 to 20 October, 2024, 64% of Chernihiv residents believe that restoring friendly relations between Ukrainians and russians after the war is impossible. Meanwhile, 22% of respondents feel that reconciliation may be achievable in 20-30 years, 8% believe it could take 10-15 years, and 4% think friendly relations could be restored within a few years.
Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine
Dnipropetrovsk oblast
Mykola Lukashuk, Head of Dnipropetrovsk City Council, reported that from evening until morning, the enemy did not stop attacking Nikopol region. In the evening, a kamikaze drone attacked the Marganets community. At night, the russian army shelled Nikopol with artillery and “hail”, and in the morning they launched a kamikaze drone at the region centre. The hostile attacks caused fires, damaged the administrative building, infrastructure and a bus. A minibus was damaged in a morning strike in Nikopol. According to updated information, a petrol station in Chervonohryhorivka community was damaged as a result of yesterday’s shelling.
The enemy was constantly attacking Nikopol region on 25 October — they made about two and a half attacks. They targeted the region centre, Marhanets, Chervonohryhorivka and Pokrov communities with artillery, MLRSs and kamikaze drones. Petrol stations, a car wash, an agricultural enterprise and an administrative building were damaged.
Vinnytsia oblast
Serhiy Morgunov, Mayor of Vinnytsia reported that eight vehicles and an unmanned aerial vehicle system were handed over to the Chervona Kalyna soldiers and another military unit in Vinnytsia.
Kirovohrad oblast
The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, reported that the Air Armed forces were operating in Kirovohrad oblast at night.
Poltava oblast
IDPs living in a modular town in Poltava were allowed to stay until the end of martial law.
A memorial plaque to the school graduate Serhiy Ivkov, who died in the war, was unveiled on the facade of Poltava School No. 37. At the unveiling, the 11-year-old son of the deceased was presented with his father’s posthumous award “For Loyalty to the People of Ukraine”, first class.
Cherkasy oblast
Ihor Taburets, Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, reported that at night, defenders destroyed 4 “chessmen” in the sky over the region.
Ihor Taburets, Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, said that two sets of unmanned aerial systems with 50 UAVs each were transferred from Cherkasy oblast. They also sent 6 electronic warfare stations for the 118th Brigade.
Rostyslav Hrytsiuk, who died in the Russian-Ukrainian war, said goodbye in Uman region. In 2022, together with his wife Olena, he voluntarily came to the defence of the country. After training, he fought in the hottest spots towards Donetsk and was injured twice.
Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine
Zaporizhzhia oblast
As reported in the morning briefing by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrainian Defence Forces repelled 4 russian attacks in Orikhiv axis. Over the past day, Russian forces, supported by aviation, attacked Ukrainian defensive positions near Novodanylivka and Novoandriivka.
According to the RMA, on 24 October, russian forces launched 326 attacks on 15 settlements in Zaporizhzhia oblast. There were 8 reports of damage to residential buildings and infrastructure, but no civilian casualties were reported.
20 Russian airstrikes targeted Malynivka, Zaliznychne, Mala Tokmachka, Levadne, Novohryhorivka and Chervona Krynytsia. The russian forces deployed 158 drones of various types to attack Lobkove, Huliaipole, Novodanylivka, Malynivka, Novoandriivka, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka and Levadne.
Also, 9 missile attacks struck Lobkove, Novodanylivka, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka and Malynivka, while 139 artillery strikes were recorded in Lobkove, Orikhiv, Huliaipole, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, Malynivka, Levadne, Novoselivka and Huliaipilske.

According to Serhii Bratchuk, Spokesperson for the Ukrainian Volunteer Army South, the russian military are moving reserves stationed in the rear of temporarily occupied territories in the oblast to continue their offensive on Zaporizhzhia oblast. He noted that russian reconnaissance and sabotage groups are actively searching for weak points in Ukrainian defences. The russian military is also targeting Ukrainian drone operators due to the substantial damage caused by these devices.
As stated in an International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) press release dated 24 October, experts from the IAEA working at the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia NPP reported hearing explosions near the facility. Also, international observers reported that, on 22 October, energy engineers restored the 330 kV high-voltage line at the plant, which had been damaged by russian shelling on 21 October.
In Zaporizhzhia, reconstruction is underway for homes damaged by russian attacks – 780 private houses and 25 apartment buildings are expected to be repaired by 10 December. Ivan Fedorov, Head of Zaporizhzhia RMA, mentioned that the authorities have developed 8 aid packages for affected residents, including financial compensation and building materials.
The international organization Polish Humanitarian Action is prepared to provide urgent assistance in the oblast, particularly for the restoration of damaged houses, support of the energy system, educational infrastructure and aid to internally displaced persons. This was discussed at a meeting between the regional military administration and international partners.
Mykolaiv oblast
As reported by the RMA, during the night of 25 October, air defence forces in Mykolaiv oblast destroyed 4 Shahed 131/136 drones.
On 24 October, russian forces conducted 4 FPV-drone attacks on Kutsurub community in Mykolaiv oblast. As a result, 2 private houses and 3 cars were damaged in Dmytrivka village. There were no casualties reported.
As reported by the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, specialists from the Centre of Excellence in Mine Action and Environmental Safety, found elevated levels of arsenic, lead, copper, zinc and explosive residue in the soil of recently liberated areas of Mykolaiv. These contaminants are a consequence of chaotic russian missile and artillery strikes, which hit enterprises and storage facilities containing plant protection products, agrochemicals (pesticides) and fuel.
According to the Department of Culture, Nationalities, and Religions of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, as of October 2024, russian shelling in Mykolaiv oblast has damaged 45 cultural heritage sites. The highest number of damages has been recorded in Mykolaiv oblast. In coastal communities, it is challenging to collect accurate data on the damage due to ongoing shelling.
Odesa oblast
Medical workers in Odesa oblast have received 7 SUVs to support primary healthcare as part of the Strengthening Healthcare System and Saving Lives project (Heal Ukraine). According to Oleh Kiper, Head of Odesa RMA, these vehicles will allow medical personnel to reach the most remote parts of the oblast for palliative care, home visits and mobile vaccination services.
Kherson oblast
As reported by the RMA, in the morning, russian forces attacked the centre of Kherson. As a result of the strike on a residential building, 2 people were injured. A 64-year-old woman sustained blast injuries and shrapnel wounds to her legs, while a 72-year-old man suffered a blast injury and concussion.
The russian forces shelled Bilozirka in Kherson oblast twice within a day. Around midnight, at least 5 artillery shells were fired at the settlement, and later, it was attacked by artillery and drones. One residential house was completely destroyed by a direct hit and 3 other houses had windows, fences and roofs damaged. A gas station was also targeted by the attack.
On the highway near Tomyna Balka, russian forces used a drone to attack a civilian car. A 72-year-old man was killed from injuries caused by an explosive dropped from the drone. A 35-year-old man was hospitalised with blast injuries, a concussion and a hand injury.

According to Kherson RMA, on 24 October, due to russian aggression in Kherson oblast, 5 people were injured. russian forces targeted critical infrastructure, a cell tower and residential areas in the oblast. A dormitory, an apartment building, 32 private houses and civilian vehicles were damaged. 26 settlements were under enemy attack and airstrikes.
On 24 October, a resident was injured in Lvove village due to an explosive detonation. The 53-year-old woman ran over a tripwire while on a scooter, resulting in blast injuries and a chest contusion. She received necessary medical assistance.
9 medical institutions in Kherson oblast are providing free dental prosthetics services for veterans and combatants. Since the pilot project began, over 160 Ukrainian defenders have taken advantage of this service.

Lutsk community sent a new Mitsubishi L 200 SUV, quadcopters and an anti-drone gun to the Kursk region. The Military Unit A 7028 received 20 Mavic 3 DJI Intelligent Flight Batteries.
The Border Service Department of Reconnaissance and Strike Unmanned Aerial Vehicles of the Military Unit 9938 received DJI Mavic 3, DJI Mavic 3T, and an EcoFlow Delta 2 charging station. This week, the Owl’s Nest Humanitarian Aid Center provided IDPs registered in Uzhgorod with 13 packages with necessary things for children under 1 year old and 50 bags with grocery sets. During the week, volunteers gave out clothes, shoes, bed linen and dishes (1,190 items) from the PDUM Partnerschaft Deutschland-Ukraine/Moldova e. V., Luftfahrt ohne Grenzen / Wings of Help eV and other benefactors.
Ivano-Frankivsk oblast
With the support of the Cluster on Management and Coordination of Places of Temporary Residence of IDPs and the Protection Cluster of the Department of Social Policy, the RMA developed a guide for IDPs. Its purpose is to facilitate the process of finding a safe and comfortable place to live for IDPs.
Lviv oblast
On the night of 25 October, during an air alert that lasted from 02:27am to 04:13am, 4 enemy attack drones flew into the territory of Lviv oblast. There are no victims or injured.
Lviv oblast sent 1,190 combat drones simultaneously to the front line. This large-scale transfer took place thanks to the Birds of Victory charity project.
As part of the Lion’s Revenge initiative, Lviv City Hall sent drones of various modifications, unmanned aerial vehicles and a car worth almost UAH 13m to Ukrainian defenders with community funds.
Rivne oblast
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Rivne oblast has received thousands of wounded from eastern Ukraine. If in the 1st months soldiers were cared for by two hospitals in the regional centre, now such care is provided in 13 medical institutions.
The 1st Recruiting Center of the Ukrainian Army started working in Rivne oblast. It was opened on the basis of the Administrative Services Center in Kostopol. In this facility, citizens will be able to receive informational and advisory services regarding service in the Defense Forces and, if they wish, to serve in a specific military unit for a chosen position.
Ternopil oblast
Ternopil community sent a Kestrel 5700 weather station and 2 iRay Tube TH50 V2 thermal imaging sights to the military thanks to the budget fund.
In Ternopil, 31 defenders were honoured with state awards (posthumously). Awards were presented to the relatives of the Heroes.
7 defenders received the Honorary Citizen of the City of Ternopil title (posthumously). The title was awarded for a significant personal contribution to the formation of Ukrainian statehood and personal courage and heroism, demonstrated in the defence of state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
Khmelnytskyi oblast
In Khmelnytskyi, the RMA organised training on the new veteran policy. This is the 1st applied training on veterans’ policy specifically for heads of village and settlement councils.
Chernivtsi oblast
Vyzhnytsk community is one of 5 communities to which the Czech partners of NESEHNUTÍ will donate used solar panels. The community will receive over 0.19 kw 1,260 solar panels.
International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)
The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) allocates an additional UAH 265m to finance the Shelter program. The increase in the budget will make it possible to continue the implementation of the program until the end of 2024. Thanks to which, the owners of housing, who accommodated IDPs free of charge, have the opportunity to compensate for the payment of utility services.
In New York, on the sidelines of the UN International Law Week, the event War Reparations: Commission for the Review of Applications for Ukraine was held, which was organised by the Netherlands and the Register of Damages. Another key topic of discussion is prosecution for the crime of aggression against Ukraine.
The 7th conference in continuation of the 1st Peace Summit was held in Riga. They discussed implementation of the UN Charter and the restoration of the territorial integrity of Ukraine
Ihor Zhovkva, Deputy Head of the Office of the President, met with Andrew Mitchell, member of parliament of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland from the Conservative Party, shadow secretary of state for foreign affairs. They discussed key areas of further assistance from Allies in the field of security and defence, taking into account key elements of the Victory Plan.
The 2-day Economic Forum for Business and Reconstruction of Ukraine IASI – Strategic Regional Hub Romania – Republic of Moldova – Ukraine is taking place in the Romanian city of Iasi. The Forum is a key platform for discussing the economic climate, opportunities for business, and prospects for infrastructure restoration in Ukraine. Among organisers of the Forum is the Union of Ukrainians in Romania.
